    You are Hxu-2891, seasoned Lobsterman soldier of Colony 07. The war with the planet Earth’s human population has been going for 9 months now and you are among the second wave of Lobsterman deployed. With three months of duty and three successful missions behind you, your cybernetic upgrades and experience made you a fearsome opponent. In the last mission you have suffered an accident that somehow connected your mind to the M.C network and strangely you manifested the potential for M.C abilities something unique to your kind so far, even more strangely nobody around seem to have realized this or have any interest in it.

    Last time you were at a Trade Route attack mission where your objective is to locate a piece of high importance cargo. Your team has successfully seized control of the ship’s bridge after that you spread the squad to pairs two of you going to clear the deck the other two looking for your objective. After eliminating two humans guards on deck the other two cowered in front of your squad have fled the combat zone by jumping ship so 53 and 40 reported the deck clear of any remaining guards.

    You located the target cargo and dispatched two humans that were nearby but one of them managed to activate a very potent bomb before getting killed, your rather aggressive attempts at disarming it have yielded no results. The clock is ticking fast and you are deep in the belly of the cargo hold. You ordered your partner to take the bomb out of the cargo hold but at the very least away from your objective. Obeying orders unquestioningly and risking his life at that 14 ran out of the room with the bomb.

    DISASTER! Just as 14 was moving through the flood gate suddenly the beeping stops and the bomb detonates. First a flash of light then a thundering shockwave shakes the ship’s frame it can be heard and felt even at topside as metal twists and vibrates with the force.

    What has happened to 14? The explosion surely erased him from this world.

    You desperately call and listen on the com link refusing the accept what just happened to14. You hear nothing, you wait hoping for some sort of miracle spawned event but you don’t hear anything, the realization is hard to accept but it is clear that Lobsterman Medic 1493 simply couldn’t have survived an explosion of that magnitude. He died doing his orders sacrificing himself for his superior and for the mission without second thoughts. You will remember this deed for some time.

    But the troubles are not over yet, the ship also took a great deal of damage a lot by the explosion, it seems that the humans had the clear intention to destroy the valuable piece of cargo than let you lay your pincers on it.

    How great is the damage to the ship?

    The explosion destroyed the flood gate that leads to the exit along with a number of cargo, that were ripped to pieces the ship’s bottom plates buckled out but somehow still managed to hold together, it seems the humans construction maybe crude but still tough enough. The ship is still in one piece although no significant leaks occurred and it s still on its way.

    With that done it seems that the last of the humans and their traps are finally removed from the ship. Now all that remains is sending the clear signal for the retrieval team and wait for them to arrive.

    However the cargo crate is much bigger than you expected you cannot move it on your own and your team will have to get it out of here somehow.

    ...and I will leave again now for lunch, will return a bit later today.

    Time passes and 53 and 40 arrives to the cargo bay, they report widespread destruction in the cargo bay including the flood gate and large amounts of cargo but the ship’s hull is safe, it does not leak. They would like to know which door to take.

    You open the door and peek in but your line of sight is blocked by a large crate, strangely it seems to be illogical to pack this crate here, almost as if it was put there just for this purpose.

    While this is going on 53 and 40 opens the door on their side. Their room is emptier a large pile of plastic boxes is on their right and crates on the sides, the door in the next room is closed.

    …but then when they both enter suddenly the plastic and paper boxes fly apart revealing two human soldiers who lied in ambush until now. They can hear the high pitched noise of Vibro Blades springing into life as the two humans jump out of their hiding place wielding their drills ready and bent to destroy any opposition they encounter.

    53 and 40 must now both roll a D20 for initiatives.

    40 reacts quickly enough to realize what just happened and manages to take action against the attackers, 40 may now take action.

    On the other hand 53 being closer to the ambush is taken completely by surprise and now he may only roll for dodging the incoming attack.
    Roll a D20 for 53 to dodge.

    After these rolls are resolved, I m going to go to sleep as it s midnight, now and I will get up in 6 hours and carry on. I got up same way today and I found out that for me it s way better than staying up until the morning and then leaving you for the rest of your night, and then not being able to do stuff during the day, then it should be midnight for 4chan time, is that cool with you guys?

    43’s quick reaction turns the tide of the ambush, while 53 cannot react on the attack he manages to take aim and fire on the human that was about drill through 53’s carapace. The human suffers fatal damage from the shot and falls back into the opposite corner, 53 is saved for a moment; however the other human soldier is still on the move to finish the job seemingly unshaken by the recent demise of his comrade.

    You shoot into the large crate and the blast opens up large holes on both of its sides it appears to be empty you can see a bit through the holes you can catch some a pair of pushed over barrels behind it.

    this will be my last IC post for now.

    Back, connection time out kept me from postan so I went for breakfats and back to sleep.


    Both 40 and 53 open fire on the last human, their shot get avoided as the human lunges towards the wall to get 53 between him and 40 then attempts to attack 53 again with his Vibro Blade.

    Now 53 must roll for dodge again!
    40 is free to act, he may shoot but risks friendly fire.

    You make your way through the container as the hole your weapon made gives you an easy chance to tear away the thin walls. Arriving to the other side you see a few barrels one knocked down for some reason, you see the door to the next room where the fight is currently unfolding.


    Unfortunately you cannot roll for M.C right now, you need to actually see/home on to your target. This can be done in more than one different means but sadly you have neither at your disposal right now.
