    Summary

The Elves has returned to their ancient city of Angelfalls and through old treaties a thousand years old pushed the old rulers to the side. The elves and their army under the command of Prince Aldwerin have done everything in their power to placate the dissent of the human nobles and commoners. The people of this continent fear the army amassing on their door step to the east and try to rally their own army to dissuade its entry or meet it on the field of battle. The elves have a different fear altogether. They know he has returned, and that he will threaten the peace and balance of the new world without evil. They are looking for you, or getting ready to deal with you should you confront them. But unknown to them, you are right under their noses. You stand before one of the greatest war machines built in ancient times, the Lighthouse of Angels.

The sight of the seas and the grand fleet fades with a blur around you as your vision tunnels and reality falls back into place around you. You stand once more in the dark tower’s last chamber, spiralling up toward the pointed conical roof. Once more you see the interior of the room being dominated by the glass cylinder, a weak and pulsating white light hovering at the center illuminating the room ever so slightly. The mechanisms for this room so much more apparent now, they are there so that the stone walls around the devise may give way. This devise is far from operational, but it is weapon of devastating magical power, it is no wonder why the elves would choose to return to this city.

As the last of reality falls back into place at the corner of your vision you can hear foot steps and muffled voices coming slowly up from the only stairs leading back down to the lower keep and great citadel bridge.

Walking towards the cylinder buzzing and humming with a radiant magical aura you hold out your own hand and reach out to touch the glass surface. Instantly you can feel the hairs all over your body stand on end as the excess energy exudes from the pulsating orb held within and courses through your body. It is a far cry from the power that you swear to have just witnessed from some place or some time.

You summon the black smoky tendrils to writhe around your outstretched arm and slither to your palm and the smoke then slithers around the surface of the glass. It cannot so easily penetrate inward, the glass is meant to keep what's kept inside from getting out, but with no knowledge of the device, no way to get it in. But still the snake like trails of black smoke slither and slide around it until they eventually spread out so thin they are barely visible, yet you can still feel it there.

Behind you the doors to the room begin to creak open.

This proves impossible, the type of magic energy pulsating from this device is incompatible with your own.

Behind you the doors swung wide open two figures emerge into the room along with a man's voice that sounds clear above the low background humming.

"-three more days and." The voice stops dead in its tracks. "Who by the Gods?"

The man's company, a woman, bellows out, "Stand back my liege!" With a staff lowered and pointed at you a white flash and bolt of electricity lashes out and impacts against your back, leaving a scorch mark on your skin as the residue current leaps over your body, but your muscles do not give way, that blast was obviously meant to incapacitate a lesser foe.

The woman's voice speaks up once again after a few seconds "...That should have... No.... it couldn't be."

Goal = make people distrust elves, elves distrust people. Mark weapon for later corruption, corrupt when big battle and is known as elf weapon, zap humans and foment peoples rebellion.

As the woman prepares and charges for a deadly blast this time you phase out of existence as your form disintegrates into shadowy mist and falls to the floor scattering like mist in the wind. A small crater is cut from the stone as the lightning bolt lashes out at the ground where you once stood.

A second later you are behind the two figures with Kingslayer raised and with a mighty swing bring it down diagonally from their right shoulders down to their hips. But there is a clang of steel and a white shimmering light encasing a small silver sheened foil. The spectral after image of your blade is halted as well, and the other sword does not freeze. The man had pulled out his sword and raised it behind his back to parry the blow. He did not have the power to stop stop the blow but your own sword runs along the other and is diverted from its path and puts the two out of harms way. Using his other hand he guides his accomplice behind him.

It is Prince Aldwerin and his own face contorts with anger as the light of your swords and magic clashing reveal both of your faces. Your magics cannot hide your presence any longer.

The Prince speaks without the fear you are familiar with in those who see your true face, "I Knew you come eventually monster... But to my own house, how rash of you."
    >> Anonymous 09/09/10(Thu)20:53 No.12021979
Use a smaller version of Dark Storm to shoot some red lightning at their asses, then hack and slash. Don't let up, don't give them a chance to breathe, be on constant attack, Patton style.
    >> Evil !!rEkSWzi2+mz 09/09/10(Thu)21:06 No.12022135
Without a word in response you lower Kingslayer and with your other hand lash out with your own red tinted lightning. At first the electricity envelops the Prince eating away at some enchantment on his armour, but as you advance he takes steps back grimacing as you can see the silver sheen armour glow red hot as it gets warmer and warmer, but a blue magical aura starts forming like a cloth being weaved in fast motion. The red hot glow of the armour slowly fades away, although many of the runes you now notice covering his armour seem faded or scratched away, probably the enchantment inscriptions now made visible from your attack.

From behind the Prince a voice speaks out, cold, calculating, strained, “It is not magic I know. I am sorry lord; I could not protect you fast enough.”

Again and again you assault the pair, but as the barrier strips away it is replaced, the female elf is seen under greater and greater strain, but you are running out of power yourself and your lashes of electricity become less fierce.

“I know now for sure. That stench, it is the same as so many centuries ago.” The Prince’s leather gloves creak on the pummel of his foil. "What's the matter monster? You forget how to speak?" Back on the offensive he lashes out with his sword raised high and then plunging back down toward your chest.

You bring Kingslayer up to parry the blow and return with your own thrust, but the Prince’s foil is not very affected by the parry as it comes back into control faster and with a lunge dives into your left shoulder two inches in. But your fist connects with his collar bone and sends him flying back his feet lifted from the ground. Skidding across the floor he eventually comes to a stop near the edge of the room. Then quickly leaping up to his feet with his accomplace laying her glowing blue hands on the wound your fist delivered. Raiding himself back to his feet the Prince takes a defencive stance. His face does not seem to show the same composure.

You grit your teeth in pain at the blow, but the pain soon becomes searing, in fact the wound although fine and unnoticeable burns around its entry point with a white fire, the fire is not hot, but it sizzles and burns against your skin. The fire continues to grow larger and larger threatening to envelop your whole shoulder in a mater of seconds.

The prince's confidence returns and he mocks you as he approaches and begins to circle around you each step sliding slowly across the stone floor, “Archsilver. A metal so pure, only found in the grand Elven lands of the mystical forests across the ocean. I’m sure to something like you it must be unbearable…”

Ok, Launch a quick series of strikes and feints at the prince, push him back towards the mage. We then make as if we're sending a burst of dark lightning at the prince once again. This will cause the mage to at the very least slow down as she concentrates to keep the prince safe. We use this moment to tear off our cloak and hurl it over the princes head to blind him, while doing that e hurl our sword like a spear and impale the mage. then with her barrier down we use the lightning we feinted with to blast the prince.

"Hmph." The Prince whips his hair aside and turns his nose in contempt. "After you were defeated we elves no longer needed to guard the world against you and your kind. We left the lands to the humans and the dwarfs left the humans to burrow deeper within the earth. Even the last of your army scattered pillaged the lands, but Valtir's curse, that evil could not continue, eventually they aged and died and were no more. I know not how you returned, but your kind are gone forever. You are alone."

With his sword raised once again and balanced lightly in the palm of his open hand the prince prepares to lunge again.

"There may be desire, but not without reason. Not without love and sacrifice. Something you could never understand."

Mustering a great deal of your strength you cover yourself once again in the black mist, but you do not fade away and melt into the stone floor, rather you continue approaching the Prince. The Prince remains still watching you. You fade out for a moment, and reappear nearby for a moment before returning to your previous location. Next you appear behind you, and then behind the Prince, but at the last second once more in front of him. The mist swirls around like a storm at ankle high along the floor.

Finally you drive your sword forward, in front of you stand on their flank. The Prince's sword thrusts into the misty afterimage in front of him, but his neck turns to look at you. Your sword rushes forward and upwards and it bites flesh but the weight you lift up is lighter then you thought.

A robed figure grasps the tip of your blade with hands turning black from the cold trying not to fall further down the blade. Blood erupts from her mouth and showers down upon you. The Prince's face is horrified, but his blade is still thrust into your after image that only now turns back into mist. Finally her strength gives out and her body slides down the blade toward you. But with a fire in her eyes she pushes with frostbitten hands into your chest and lets loose a mighty blow of magical force that sends you and blade in hand across the room slamming hard into the wall opposite. You can feel your own eyes not burning with the same intensity a moment ago, you are drained. But you watch the sad scene before you as you slide to the floor sitting with your back sore and against the wall. Dust falling from the ceiling.

I like the idea but it needs a little refining. The cloak trick is probably well known so the prince will know we mean to blind him obviously. What he may not realize is that the billowing cloak also casts a wide shadow. So as he is trying to dodge our attack we shadow step right out of the darkness of the cloak itself and cut him in half.

We lock blades with him and then use the cloak to bind the two swords together. then we drop our sword and the weight drags his sword and arm down so we can grab ahold of him with both hands and smash our forehead into his face to stun him, then beat him to death with our bare hands.

It is painful to raise to your feet and you are not completely steady even when back on both feet, but when you try to shadow-step away, you cannot muster enough strength. On the other side of the room the Prince is cradling the woman on the floor, a pool of blood has formed and you can see ice crusted up her neck that has spread from the wound. She might shatter at any moment before dying from how critical that mortal wound was.

The Prince suddenly looks up at you with anger in his eyes. It feels like a different kind of hate.

Nice, if we can stoke this hate and anger we can use it our advantage. Except for right now, now we are going to get our ass handed to us if he fights us. Are we completely powerless essentially? If so time to call in back up. Get that lovely engine of death Kelgris to swoop in for a dramatic exit. We may need to leave the city if the elves can track us now. Till then, keep distracting him and inching towards a window or opening.

You pull yourself along the wall towards the exit, there are no windows to speak of, somehow this room opens up to the outside, but you do not know how. And the constant humming of the orb puts up so much background disturbance you feel your voice to Kelgris cannot be heard, but nor can the Prince be heard. You mock the Prince as you move along. "Do you miss her? She hasn't gone very far. I'm sure you know what she gave up to prevent the inevitable for you." You caress the edge of the sword. "Maybe you want to join her now? You will never pull her out, even if I should go first."

The Prince rises to his feet, and calmly speaks with heaving shoulders, "You monster... Do you enjoy this all that much? Have you not had enough that you would be so sick and twisted to do the same thing over and over again?"

Again? Did something like this happen before?

The Prince lowers his foil once again and from his belt pulls out from the fallen mage on the floor a main gauche, intricate and ornate, something of noble origin.

Now armed and dual wielding the Prince rushes and lunges at you. You bring Kingslayer to parry his foil and when the main gauche comes in for a quick jab with the cloak in your other arm you wrap it around and catch it in the fabric. Wrenching on the blade you can hear the poor fabric begin to tear. The Prince is frantic and angry, and he brings the foil in for another blow at your thigh while you have him caught in close quarters. It will be hard to wield your own blade though.

You try to parry with Kingslayer, but you are unable to do so in time and the foil pierces through your thigh, missing bone and going straight through. The Prince pulls it back out quickly and readies to do so again. But with your left arm you grab him by his other arm and squeeze down hard keeping him from moving. Then you bring your forehead down and smash it down onto his forehead. With the Prince dazed you follow up with powerful jab of your fist clenched around Kingslayer sending the elf to the ground and skidding across the floor until finally coming to a rolling stop. Caught in your now ripped cloak is the main gauche, but the Prince still manages to keep an unbreakable grip on that sword of his.

"To tell the truth I'm sorry I had to kill the bitch. I would rather have broken-" Your mocking is brought to a sudden halt as you feel the pain of the searing wound on your leg that has already caught fire. And once again the Elf groans and screams through clenched teeth at the pain and gets back onto his feet to charge you once again, preparing for another lunge.

Reversing your hold on Kingslayer you kneel down pressing the sword against the wound while you scoop down and grab at the hilt sticking out from the pile of ruined makeshift cloak. The Prince's initial lunge twists mid lunge and straight for your chest, but with the main gauche you parry it out of the way, but sliding across your left bicep making only a small cut, but once again the pain spreads another fire bursts out. With Kingslayer's pummel you strike out again but the Prince steps aside and thrusts again, but this time you parry the blow out of the way and let him run past you. Reversing your grip on your sword you make a proper swing at the Prince's back, but once again the sword pulls hard on his arm and stops him mid stride to parry the weight of Kingslayer off to the side. Another thrust, this time you parry it with the main gauche and make a counter attack driving the dagger into his left shoulder, the armour stops it, and becomes stuck halfway through the mail between the plates. As the Prince retreats your weakened left arm cannot hold on to the dagger and the Prince pulls away twirling his foil in front of you looking for his next opening.

There is no time to freeze the wound, so you take a step back to the robes on the ground as the Prince prepares to lunge once again.

"...Had enough?" A voice calls from elsewhere.

Feigning weakness you lower your sword as you move backwards. Falling for the feint the Prince takes his quick steps forward and prepares to lunge.

The voice speaks up again, "Go on... let go..."

Using the tip of your sword you fling the robes as a distraction and then bring your sword down. As you suspect your blow is somehow met, but you are larger, heavier and stronger then the Prince. Your bull rush catches him by the waist and taking a few steps forward you lift him up and then slam him down on his back hard, almost enough to make the stone floor crack below you.

"...Time is up... Let it all go..." The voice soothingly says again.

As you bring Kingslayer for a finishing blow through the cloak wrapped around the Prince a sliver of silver pierces through and into your chest. Between your ribs, not into the organs, but deep and painful. You take a few steps back, and a second fire bursts to life.

Wheezing on the ground, using his left arm to hold his ribs, probably broken from the audible crack you just heard the prince speaks through pained gasps. He is no longer in a position to fight back for much longer, but in your condition, he may not have to, "That....face....haha...." The prince coughs as he turns on his stomach to push himself up from the floor and back to his feet wavering to a fro almost unable to stand, "Its him, I know it, but you.... you.... You're still human."

You are a master of your own self. So master it.

    New Inspiration: Long Shadow.

Your soul, black with filth and rot, no longer sits idle in your beating breast.

It hungers, remembering the deeds of days long by, and while you work, it seeps invisibly from your body like a heavy fog. Like a poison, it curls around the hearts of men, and whispers in their ear.

    Where you walk, evil flourishes.

(So basically, your taint lightly spreads around you; stay in an inn, and maybe a bar fight might turn into a murder; stay in a city, and small crimes become more likely...stay there for a month, and the evil builds, and robbery and murder become noticeably more common. Your very presence is enough to inspire dark deeds, and harden men's hearts.

    So down to three.

1: 'Dark Imply' becomes 'Dominate'. Trade in the swaying groups of people with their own emotions magnified into having a smaller group of small minded or a single mind completely subjugated for an undetermined amount of time where they will do nearly anything you tell them to.

2: (New art) Corruption. Requires mediation (sitting on your throne in the most peculator evil way) it starts out slow, but eventually grass doesn't grow, animals die, water, food and drink spoils and people become tainted (results may vary per person)

3: (New art) Essence Drain. Touch attack, maintain to drain their life force and add it to your own. Heal, temporary hit points or refill stamina or store it for a short time for dark arts.

Also keep in mind you still need to get out of the situation you're in.

Well there you have it, we may NEED the Life Drain just to live through this. Besides it would be deliciously evil to suck the life out of our enemy then as he lies gasping for air, an emaciated husk, we run him through with our blade and add a Prince of Elves to our soul collection.

(It'd be better to soul obliterate him for his expertise or position but we just don't have the power or time.)
    >> Anonymous 09/10/10(Fri)01:38 No.12025946
Definitely do the drain we need to put our self back together if we're gonna survive the run back to our evil;hole in the ground.

im of two minds on this either we upgrade dark imply (because yall niggas know that shits useful as hell) or...

    mind virus

a subtle, malign influence fuses ineffibly with the targets being, becoming indellible,

disruption strengthens it, order and harmonium cause weakness in the being, if in the experience of great duress (moments of great passion, like battle, riots, copulation, collective sadness, forced killing of the once noble host...) it can expand its influence to like minds

used that one debuff from hellfire ramparts that spread if you tried to dispell it for inspiration.
ment to be used in conjunction with dark mimply, if we can get through to them, we can hit them with this, at that point we could safely bow out to the background, knowing our work can be done in our stead without further risk.

    Aww, no mind/soul reading.

Fine, I guess Essence Drain then.

Corruption should be our upgrade after this one then.

Don't drain enough to kill him outright though. We want his soul in the sword too, since we can't soul oblit the bastard.

Also Soul Obliteration needs to be renamed to more accurately reflect what it does.

With the fires still roaring and your heart and core exposed the Prince takes his steps toward you with his foil raised, seeming that even in his state the blade still wishes to fight.

With one last lunge he drives the point toward your heart, but casting Kingslayer aside you catch the blade in your right hand and pull the point down out of harms way.

Struggling the Prince tries to break free from your hold but with your left hand you grab him by the throat. The pulsating red stone in your chest reacts and shines an even brighter vermilion red. Black veins begin to grow under the skin of the prince's neck even as your right hand becomes engulfed in flames holding the sword at bay. The veins grow and pulsate up toward his right temple, down to his abdomen, and across his left arm. When the veins finish spreading out they begin to pulsate in sync with the flash of each time the stone within your chest shines. You see the Prince's frame slowly waste away. The fire on your left arm disappears, and the wounds vanish, your strength returns and you lift him up into the air helpless. His grip finally gives way and the sword drops to the ground, you being happy that you can let go as it clangs on the cold stone ground. The wound on your chest heals over and the eerie red light is eventually covered up.

The Prince tries to kick and struggle and gasp but his cheeks begin to sink and his muscles vanish. Finally even his eyes sink into their sockets and vanish. Eventually all that is left is white bones you hold above the ground. Done you cast them to the ground where they scatter, break and turn to dust.

You flex your left hand and then your right. Your right hand is still on fire. So you flick it a few times to put out the flames.

Are we revitalized then? Can we check the sphere of the lighthouse and see if it needs some more work to at least ensure it can't be used against us?

Can we call Cath to come and get us out of here?
    >> Anonymous 09/10/10(Fri)01:55 No.12026168
im not for the drain, sure its useful in a fight, but its not everyday that we run into things that want us to go dead, and that we are not the only thing on our side capeable of fighting either, but we are the *only* (barring our mistrisess training) thing on our side that can do what we do.

thus to have a batter shot at global pandemonium a more broad, corruptoresq ability skill set would be most useful, but be dubious of things that just simply enfore control, not subtl at all and dosent actua;ly change them, no, we mustr make them change of their own minds, or whats left of them...
    >> Anonymous 09/10/10(Fri)01:59 No.12026219
that sword can be potentialy useful, find a way to trasport it, so that we may study how to bend it to our aims (im thinking acursed crozius here)

    Revitalized? Very much so?

The Lighthouse? With no further intrusion for now, its apparent it does not have enough magical power to get it to operational levels. It needs a power source, a magical source that sadly you cannot provide since the types of magic are incompatible with how the Lighthouse of Angels is built and put together for the time being.
    >> Anonymous 09/10/10(Fri)02:03 No.12026253
we might want to get out of here, people will come looking for the duo eventualy

If we can't corrupt it, perhaps we should disable it for the time being.

Cut open our palm, and smear our blood across it.
    >> Anonymous 09/10/10(Fri)02:04 No.12026270
Well, we don't have the means to play with the lighthouse then. Search the bodies for weapons, armor, magic tomes, anything we can put to use. Then we have to figure out how to best use the knowledge the elvin leadership is now dead. Anyone who would pay for advance warning of the eminent shitstorm? And the sword and maybe that dagger if it's still around.
    >> Anonymous 09/10/10(Fri)02:07 No.12026306
dude, get the bitchin staff from the magem bet its got mad magic enchants.

The Duke of Angelfalls or Brem the crime lord maybe.

On the bodies is the Archsilver Foil, the main gauche, an odd elvish mage staff and a book written completely in Elven.
    >> Anonymous 09/10/10(Fri)02:10 No.12026341
Nothing we should have a problem carrying does the foil have a scabbard? Who knows maybe we can find someone who can enlighten us on what the book says.
Brem is simple enough but how do we get a hold of the Duke?

I believe this may actually be an appropriate time to end, right after the climax.

Until next time, stay evil /tg/
