Tordek folds his arms and spits on the sand, watching Watapon, the big greatsword wielding gladiator, and the brute criminal circle each other. Both are armed with mahogany clubs. The brute is muscular and large, but not as defined as Watapon. The brute yells and rushes at Watapon, who calmly sidesteps and uses his superior finesse to tire out the criminal before backhanding him and slamming the cudgel against his jaw. While the brute is stunned and sapped of energy, he only drops to his knees and manages to weakly block. Looks like this one will require at least a month of hard one on one training from Tordek to become a novice (lv1) gladiator. He's not very skilled or bright, but he has natural constitution.
Kr'ktt slowly circles the exceptional unskilled slave with his gythka. The slave eyes the kreen warily, brandishing a quarterstaff in both hands. Suddenly a high-pitched inscetoid keening comes from Kr'ktt and he throws the gythka aside and leaps at the man. Striking with his four limbs with claw rakes and what appears to be uppercuts, the man backs away, accepting a bloody slash on the forearm to get the space to block the kreen's three other arms.
Illiene, your mindbender, circles the fighters warily, his eyes on the kreen. However the kreen seems to be 'pulling his punches' and the exceptional slave displays an intelligent techinque and finesse more than brute force. This one may also take a month or 5 weeks to train, and it from Tordek's veteran senses, he might be made into a rogue or intelligence based gladiator (arcane or primal focus) more than a warrior. If you had the trainer for such a thing that is. |
