!em3oEn8LAg 06/02/10(Wed)20:46 No.10233967You peer again over the sheer edge. You seem suspended on a thread of rock, with the safety of your friends at one end, and the unfathomable eternal fog at the other. Beside you, 13 seems to have taken interest, plodding uncertainly towards Walters and the others. You drag back, the chain that binds you catching your wrist painfully. "Come now, the solution is so -obvious-." the voice says, chuckling in the wicked breeze. "How desperately you cling to your pathetic shell." You look once more down at the bone-shattering rocks, then at the horror chained to your wrist. "Helen!" Walters shouts. "You need-" You don't let him finish. With decisive action, you wrap your arms around 13 and plunge over the edge, your blood covering you both. You feel yourself falling, falling...and a touch, light, on your shoulder.
"Helen," Walters says. "You need to wake up." You open your eyes, squinting against the slivers of morning puncturing Jacob's blinds. He's standing at the side of the bed; oh my, you're in his bed. At least his sheets are comfortable. Oh my, you can feel the sheets against your bare skin.
>Oh my. >What do? |
