I frequently come up with homebrew settings for my friends and then DM them up for them using D&D 3.5, some(ALOT) of the things tend to deviate from any pre-existing lore (and sometimes the rules) but my groups always have loads of fun so I must be doing something right.

Please sit with me as I spill my plot to you, ideas and elaborations always welcome! I will even detail the first session of it we recently had! :D

Keep in mind, The players don't know the majority of these details but they always have tiny allusions to them when appropriate, some of the details even effect players directly without their knowledge!

Well, without further ado, here we go.

At the VEEEEERY beginning of the multiverse, there were only two sections of it.

The core, small and in the center, and the shell, infinitely extending and fully surrounding the core.

Over time, from the essences of both spawned life!!!

The the core gave birth to beings called Titans, there weren't many, but those who existed were very powerful and artistic, they sculpted the core to fit what they thought would be the most beautiful possibility for their home

The shell formed Gods, there were many gods and since the shell, being so large, usually felt very empty, they decided to create their own kinds of life! :D

The life the gods made didn't last very long though for you see, nothing outside the core(besides a god) had the ability to remain tangible for very long...

And oddly enough gods, no matter how hard they tried, couldn't simply make other gods. (even if they could, they realized that was a stupid idea)

(Lost my groove, forgive me if it doesn't have the same feel for a couple posts.)

A brave mortal, one who understood the ways of the titan's home, one who was respectful of their masterpiece, was overlooked by the raging titans.

They however, were not overlooked by him, they killed his brothers and sisters, and now on their rampage were utterly destroying what they, and he, had most prized.

The very nature of the core became vengeful towards it's first children and granted their coveted orb to this mortal, this first truly beloved of both core and shell, this first druid.

AND GOD DAMNIT, THE FUCKING DRUID WENT AND GOT OVERPOWERED IN THE FIRST FUCKING MOMENTS OF HAVING HIS CLASS LEVELS

The druid was under the influence of the gods and could only follow their orders to remove the orb from the very face of the core.

(presumably to destroy it as the orb is not a god and they were assuming that would have the orb sent to the shell by the obedient yet oh so powerful mortal)

The nature of the core whispered an alternative choice to the ambiguous order given to the druid...

"The Tower of" Stoza erupted from the ground, the titan's orb's gems fell loose to the ground, and the orb was engulfed by the massive tower.

The core then pulled the massive construct seemingly back into it's ground, the Titans, FLIPPING THE FUCK OUT, began digging madly where stoza once stood, but alas, the tower was somewhere neither the gods nor titans could even dream of touching...

By the titans realized this though, they were sealed within the core to stew amongst themselves forever by dragons and a VERY pissed off druid...

The gods could still feel the orb's power, they knew instantly what the core had done and did not trust for and instant that the core would remain benevolent with such great power in it's clutches.

Maybe they were threatened or maybe they were pissed. whatever the case had been, the gods, now with seemingly no care for the one mortal life (still under their control) remaining and the demigods that were now out of their control, tore the core asunder, hoping to end this colossal mistake once and for all...

The essences of the core mingled with the shell, new, more complicated layers formed a new, more complicated cosmology.

The gods had done something irreversible and were just on a STUPID spree, nonetheless though, they managed to destroy the core...

The demigods, still with their godpower intact, were safe from the loss of the core.

The brave druid was given enough power from the core to ascend to a level much more powerful than the titans, however temporary that power lasted.
