Your Thunderhawk has begun the trip back to the Maelstrom, the servitor pilot muttering technobabble the whole way, not disturbing you in the slightest as the mysterious girl in blue begins to speak to you. Your form casts her body in shadow as the red light from your suit's eyes gives you rather terrifying appearance.

"Who... What are you?" She squeaks, the fear in her voice apparent. Your hammer remains in hand, knowing that although it cannot destroy her, it still is potent enough to knock her out once again. At this range, she's hardly able to move much without suffering a reaction blow.

"I am Brother-Captain Mansoon of the Thundering Gales and I am in a position to ruin your day." You say, bearing down on her with your intimidating stature.
"You will answer my questions, or suffer the fate of the heretic, witch."

"What's a heretic?" She asks, sitting against the bulkhead.

Your hand grips your hammer tighter, as if to emphasize that YOU are the one asking the questions.

"What happened aboard that ship, daemon? What of the crew of the space hulk?"

"Space hulk? Daemon? I just went through the hole in the barrier. Gensokyo gets boring from time to time."

"... Barrier? Gensokyo? What heresy is this? Answer the question, warp spawn."

"Warp spawn? What are you talking about! Stop asking stupid questions, you baka!" She spats back, looking frustrated.

You raise the hammer up, threatening her with pulpification. She cowers back down whimpering, covering her head.

"How did you say you got here..?"

    "The barrier fell."

Perhaps Galemaster Dewey could shed light on the 'barrier' she speaks of...

    >Bring her to Dewey unharmed, as the dice gods have spoken.

You grab her by the face, muffling her cries to let her go as she tries to pry your hand off. Striding with purpose through the corridors as Brothers look upon you with awkward glances, you reach the door to Galemaster Dewey's quarters. Brother Dewey cocks an eyebrow as you hurl the creature to his feet.

    "Another captured daemon."

The girl flutters up to chest level, sticking out her tongue and half-pulling her eyelid.

"I'm a fairy! Not a demon! I'm the strongest fairy, too!" She says, frantic with rage. Dewey sighs, bringing his hand behind her head and flicking at the base of her spine. You hear a 'pop' as her head drops, along with her body to the floor.

"I'll deal with her later. You should get back to the bridge... Master Saevio requires you. Immediately."

    >To the Bridge!

The walk to the lift leading up is somewhat unsettling as your Brothers look upon you with glances of disappoint. The Bridge is empty, aside from critical personnel, and Master Saevio, standing, looking out over the balcony of the Bridge.

    "Brother-Captain Mansoon..."

You salute with the Aquilla symbol to the Chapter Master.

"I shall not mince words, save for you're becoming rather... involved with a series of incidents that many of our Brothers find to be unnerving."

He turns to face you, his features looking somewhat more grim and morose than they've been in the last few weeks.

"When I was a Captain, I too lost many Brothers in battle. However, His divine will led me on through battle, pressing on despite losses suffered. I was criticized until I managed to drive back the Eldar raiders with my remaining forces of the 3rd Company, over a decade ago."

You remember the tales of heroism Saevio told, the Brothers of the 3rd Company, the same you now lead. You can't help but feel ashamed of your failure.

"But that is not why you have been called here."

    Your interest is peaked.

"You have come into contact with beings of the Warp and daemons most foul on no less than 4 missions, and are now subject to Inquisitorial scrutiny for corruption. You are to report to the hangar and await your screening by Inquisitor Constantine McLeary."

You bow your head respectfully as you turn to leave. The lift creaks in its descent, echoing through your skull as you feel the *THUNK* of the plate landing on the bulkhead. No other Brothers are watching as you stride down the empty halls, turning to the hangar you only moments earlier exited. Tucked in an alcove to your right, you can see a small dark red ship you missed before when you entered. A man stands in a suit of polished silver-gold Power Armour, surrounded by a squad of Inquisitorial Storm Troopers. Behind them, you can see a pair of your Brothers loading a crate of some sort into the ship, covered in purity seals and wards.

"You are Brother-Captain Mansoon, I trust?" the Inquisitor says, his voice somewhat raspy with a hint of an accent you can't quite place.

"Affirmative, Inquisitor. I report as I have been ordered."

A pair of Techmarines flank you from both sides.

"Captain, we have been ordered to requisition your weapons."

Surrendering your Thunder Hammer, you hold out your left gauntlet to allow the Techmarines to detach the wrist-mounted Storm Bolter. As they depart with your weapons, the Storm Troopers move around you.

You are escorted to your seat, with Storm Troopers around you on all sides.

    The Inquisitor sits opposite you.

"Let me be the first to say, I must congratulate you on the capture of many odd warp entities. However, this is not a pleasure cruise."

You feel the ship lift, and the small sensation of Zero Gravity for a moment before the ship moves out of the hangar. He begins to question the encounter with the latent psyker, your battle with Gary the Betrayer and subsequent capture of the Khornate Daemonette, and the strange happenings within the Space Hulk. You recount everything in detail, causing him no true alarm. He strokes his chin in thought as you finish with your tossing of the girl in blue at Dewey's feet.

"Quite a week it has been, Captain. This 'barrier' you speak of intrigues me."

The Inquisitor stands and turns to enter the cockpit.

    A Storm Trooper leans closer.

    "So, you... caught? a daemon?"

    Another pipes in.

    "What were they like?"

    And another.

You will be subjected to a standard check of warp taint and corruption before accompanying myself to the interrogation of that blue spawn. In the mean time, I will subject that daemonette of Khorne to my own methods of examination."

The pair of Terminators lead you to a small room with less than adequate board for someone of standing as yourself, standing guard outside your quarters as you await your examination. You remove your set of Artificer Armour as a sign of faith and cooperation, muttering litanies and prayers of faith.

A man in a flat grey robe with a large tome and a Tech Priest, enter your cell.

"We shall subject you to your testing now." the robed man says, the Tech Priest beginning to attach various electrodes and seals of faith to your body, chanting to the omnissiah as he does so.

You're subjected to a series of questions, shocks, and cleansing rites. It is a process that you stoicly endure and hope to never require. Ever again.

Having been cleared of any sign of warp taint, you are freed from your pair of interrogators as the Inquisitor returns. He's got a Lho stick in his mouth.

"Seems she's nothing more than a daemonette with a lack of warp-ability. She will be kept for further study."

You don your armour once again.

"Follow me. The Grey Knights have begun to interrogate the creature."

The Inquisitor brings you down the corridors of the elaborate ship. The light hum of psychic litanies rings throughout the ship, a calming presence falling on your shoulders. You are brought before the girl, in a small room with a simple table and chair. A blinding light shines on her face. She seems to be rather calm for what has been happening.

Brother Tharus brings you to the hangar. You can feel your Storm Bolter almost sing with righteous power. Your armour fills you with a sense of calm, and the hammer you carry surges with holy fury.

The Inquisitor stands before a group of Grey Knight Terminators, armed with Storm Bolters and Nemisis Force Weapons. Though you can't say anything about it, as you have no authority over the squad.

They look upon you with stoic gazes. If you didn't know any better, you could swear they were only statues. They turn around and board a Thunderhawk.

"Captain Mansoon, you do not have the command of the Grey Knights. However, they will acknowledge you as the leader of this mission. They will take your council into consideration as they carry out operations. Now, as you were told, you shall return to the hulk. Find this 'barrier' and assist the Grey Knights in sealing this 'barrier' and destroying the hulk.

The journey back to the Hulk in the Grey Knights' Thunderhawk is aflutter with the hymns and prayers of the silvered warriors of the Emperor. You feel enlightened within their presence, thankful to have been cleared of warp taint.

You're thrown off balance, as are most of the Grey Knights as the Thunderhawk lurches and rolls to the right.

"Incoming fire, Brothers! Prepare for Teleportation Insertion!" The vox rings out, the Thunderhawk barreling over to the left now. A crackle of thunder shakes the hold as the Terminators activate their teleporters. You lack a personal teleporter, and are force to whether the movements of the Thunderhawk. The evasive action proves insufficient as you hear a cacophony of impacts across the hull and what you assume to be a wing as the ship begins to spin.

"BRACE FOR IMPACT." You hear as the Thunderhawk slams into the open hangar, throwing you against a bulkhead, the force you assume something the Emperor himself would put into a blow. Thankfully, you impact a solid flat surface rather than an outcrop.

You hear the strain of metal above you as the hatch is pried open by a pair of Terminators. A hand reaches down, which you grab, feeling yourself lifted from the ruined ship.

Looks like you'll need a new ride out.

The Terminators have already moved into the hulk, for the most part.

No sooner than your lift locks into the floor, and your helmet lights flick on, hordes of the smaller 'youkai' swarm over your bodies. Before you can react, the psychic choir of the GK Terminators rings out, summoning a holy blaze around your bodies. The creatures are incinerated in a blast of consecrated psychic fire.

"The taint of the warp is strong here..." a Terminator remarks, the squad moving through the corridor. They split up to clear out rooms, yourself left in the central corridor, wandering deeper into the recesses of the ship.

A bulkhead prevents you from advancing. As if instinctively, you press the activation rune on the door.

Each vox light buzzes in in turn, reporting the status of the squad who was lost prior.

"Captain, we've been hunting warp creatures ever since we arrived. They aren't strong, or at least the small ones aren't. There have been two encounters with particularly strong daemons. We were forced into a retreat from the volume of fire we were taking."

    RALLY TO ME, BROTHERS!

You know, because after all this, it would really suck to get singled out and devoured by the nasty little creatures...

    >RALLY

Your Brothers move together as the single unit, finding their way to you through the trees.

    >You have regained control over your 3 Devastators and 9 Tactical Marines with Boltguns.

"We have encountered humans here, Captain, however, they fled in terror from us. I do not think we are on an Imperial World."

Look up, see if you fell down from a portal. If so, see if you can make a lulzy Space Marine Pyramid to climb up to it.

Analyze local terrain/lifeforms, try to determine if we're on a known planet, starting with one's near our last known location. Use star observations if that info is available. Also determine fortifiable positions, landmarks of interest etc.
