But as it starts to spin in the air, you see him turn quick as a snake and let loose another arrow. You couldn't even see his arm as he reloaded it. You decide to say screw waiting for tomorrow and after getting dressed in some clean clothing you place the scales in your pack with nothing else and head to the king's chambers.

The guards outside start to stop you, but you open the pack to show them what you have and they nearly shit themselves fumbling over each other to open the door for you.

The chamber is filled with people. Nobles, arguing over things in their own tongue, none of them are the other blacksmiths. You have a feeling no matter who knows that you have these scales once the king knows you have them you'll be safe, no one would dare kill you.

The entire throne room looks at you, the king is so shocked to see you he stands up so fast his large decorated chair he was sitting at almost falls over as he crosses the room to you.
