Amadeus, when you get to the local Expedition House, you see a bunch of activity, but only three adventurers look like you could hire them. They are all elves, one is a bard, another is a shaman, and the last is a ranger like yourself. You can tell because they sport their tools of the trade

I may not be around though as a friend's stopping into town this weekend and (ironically) she wants me to help her learn MTG.
