And I'd prefer if we didn't used phoenixes at all. They're very overused.

Why not Griffins instead of phoenixes? They are the symbol and guardians of the divine, after all.

Why don't we postpone the new creatures until tomorrow and decide upon them the first thing we do? More time to come up with good or original ideas.

I suggested the pheonix idea. Don't care about the name really, just thinking a big flying creature made of flames would be good. Maybe non intelligent. Like a mount for the most faithful, like the leaders of the paladins and Art users.

I'd say go for an expeditionary force, just to test their strength and get a look at what's going on below the surface. Monitored closely, so we can reinforce or withdraw them with all due speed if things go tits-up.
