    Party: You(Human Pally)
    Changeling Rogue
    Eladrin Swordmage
    Gnome Warlock (fey pact)
    Dragonborn Fighter
    Human Cleric

You lightly push the crazed priest away from you and tap your helmet twice. The priest seems confused, then surprised, then unconscious. You thank your rogue for showing restraint and not killing the man this time. He slyly remarks that he would be hard pressed to explain killing a man of faith in the king's castle.

The fighter seems confused and pipes up "Wait a minute, we all saw the magic circle, she's a demon! Why aren't we going to kill her?"

Karen whimpers and grabs your arm tighter at his mention of killing her. She's clearly not doing to well, after just finding out that she is apparently a demon, and almost being killed.
    ---
Ask for a moment to explain things to her? Talk tot he party? Cleave and smite? Let me know gentlemen.

    >Wait a minute, we all saw the magic circle, she's a demon! Why aren't we going to kill her

this is still applicable for a response to my party instead of the preist
I say I can not in good conscience slay a creature I have seen commit no wrongdoing. Do you have any evidence of malignancy or malice? or is this pure presumption because of her nature?
then I explain to her what her mother said

Explain the situation to our allies. Surely they'll be understanding, and if we can do anything to protect the royal family they will be in debt to us. Besides, it's my duty as a paladin to defend the innocent and some jazz. It's real obvious I don't usually do paladin.

Try to calm down Karen. Don't be afraid to touch her, comfort her as nicely as possible. Tell her that no one's going to be hurting her or her family under your watch.

You explain to the fighter that you cannot slay something that you have not seen commit some kind of evil in the first place. She has yet to do any wrong and you will not allow any of them to place a hand on her unless they can prove to you she is evil.

Huh, you think to yourself, fifteen minutes ago i was just another adventurer, and here I am, about to marry a half succubus girl that i met ten minutes ago. Well hey, It sure beats the hell out of killing kobolds.

"But...it's a demon...doesn't that mean she's evil?" He was never particularly good at figuring things out for himself.

Your gnome warlock seems to fill in the gap for you however "Hey you dick, just because she's a demon doesn't mean she's evil. I may be a warlock but I'm no monster, and besides, he's a paladin, I think he knows a little bit more about evil than you do pal."

You let out a slight sigh as your party begins to debate about the nature of evil, but they no longer seem to be interested in you or Karen.
    >> Failure of a DM 08/09/09(Sun)03:33 No.5389172
    >>5389170

"So, does that mean you're going to marry her after all?" Asked the Eladrin. Whoops, spoke too soon, he was always good at staying on topic.

Yeah, you're going to marry her anyways, but you'll need to talk to her for a minute. You turn to her and calmly explain to her what her mother told you. She seems somewhat relieved that you're not going to kill her and she thanks you for saving her. She gives you a hug and just stands there, leaning against you for support. She says that she doesn't believe what just happened, and that she's not sure you're telling the truth, but she's willing to keep going along with you because you defended her. With that out of the way, what are you going to do now? You still have the priest to dispose of, you still have this very hot young girl clinging desperately to you for comfort, and you still have a wedding to plan. She seems to be confused too, maybe you two should talk to her mother. Maybe you've had a change of heart and feel like smiting evil What's next men?

why do you have to dispose of the priest I am sure you have the king on you side, take the issue to him

    >>5389181
Of course! The king is about to to be your father in law! You ought to talk to him about the priest. You turn to the party and ask them to take the priest to the king and have him get rid of the priest. Make the town think he's just crazy, have him killed, move him to another continent, you don't really care, just get rid of him.

The swordmage speaks up again "And I suppose that you're asking us because you have something else in mind for yourself to do?"

You roll your eyes. The guy is as sharp as his sword.

You tell him to just take the priest and go. Your fighter easily hefts the man over one shoulder and walks out the door with him. Everyone else quickly follows. The cleric lingers behind for a moment, unsure of what to do. He sighs, says a small prayer to Pelor for you and walks out the door.

You and Karen are alone now. She still seems to be confused as to what's just happened, and she still seems a little frazzled. She is also extremely hot. The whole Damsel in distress thing really works for her. You find that you need to once again think about a cold bath to stop yourself from stripping down right now.

    What next?

Definitely calls for a make out session. At the least. Maybe it's too early for sex but god-damn, I can't keep just NOT doing anything to her.

Tell her it's a good idea to run the events by her mother, probably not her father. He won't buy the succubus thing, probably will call us slanderers and revoke my right to marry this hot thing. It's better if you both go and talk to her, but hey, there's no rush, we could afford to wait a bit and hang out before we go...

assaulting a princess, claims of demonhood or not from the priest seems like reason enough to have him "dealt with" but I think a paladin would wait until everything was all sorted out before he let any thing permanent happen to the priest

Relax man, it takes more than a minute for a response to be made.

Speaking of which, put the princess at ease. Yeah, your mom's kind of a demon, but hey! She's also kind of touched by an angel in all the right ways. Also, your dad seems a pretty understanding fella' who rather likes you. And as I said earlier- you are smoking hot. Relax honey, swords getting pointed at you? You draw away from her a little bit and look her in the eyes. She looks a lot calmer than she did a minute ago. You can't really stop yourself. You lean in and plant one right on her lips. She doesn't resist and the two of you stand there for what seems like forever. She eventually pulls away and stares back at you. She's blushing slightly. She giggles and says "That was pretty good for a so called paladin."

You chuckle, but before you can show her what else a paladin can do you remember that she still doesn't know whats going on. You figure it might be better for the two of you if you had a talk with her mother before you continue onward.

You tell her that it might be best to talk to her mother before going any farther. She frowns and asks why. You tell her it's important. She sighs and grabs her robe before walking out the door with you.

    Off to see her mother.

On the way to her mother's quarters, you non-chlantly ask her what happened to all those others that went to see her mother after meeting her. She thinks for a moment and says she doesn't really know. She never really heard about most of them again. Some of them left shortly after, some of them didn't leave till the morning after, or at least she assumed that because she never saw them leave. And she knows that at least one of them tried to attack her but the guards took care of him.

Hmmm...this is interesting news. Maybe this girl's mother isn't as innocent as she appears to be.

You mention to her the entirety of what has happened today and ask her hwo she's taking it so well.

She sort of sighs and stops walking. She tells you that she's really not sure what's happening. She has no idea what that magical circle was or how they figured she was a demon from it. "I...I'm not even sure if I believe everything that you've said to me, but when you put it like that I guess...I need to talk to mom myself. I'd still like for you to be there though. If it's all true, i mean, how could she lie to me about something so big for my entire life? Is that why they always kept me in my room? It's not fair. I need to know."

You nod at Karen and open the door to her mother's room.

The queen is still in bed, reading her book. You take a closer look this time and realize it's the Kama Sutra. The irony seems to be too much for you.

You walk straight up to her and slam your hand down on her bedside table. She starts and looks at you, annoyed. She opens her mouth to speak, but before she can say anything you cut her off.

"You need to talk to your daughter. NOW. Some crazed priest almost convinced my travelling companions to kill her because he sensed that she was a demon and she had no idea what was going on. She deserves to know."

The queen looks genuinely surprised and looks at Karen to make sure she's okay, and breathes a sigh of relief to see no injuries on her. She begins to explain to Karen who her grandfather and grandmother really were. After hearing the story Karen speaks up.

"But how could you lie to me my whole life? You didn't tell me a damn thing and I nearly died because of it."
"Karen, me and your father thought it would be best not to tell you. We thought it would be better to let you have a chance at a normal life."

"You locked me up in that damn room for so long and call that normal?"

"It wasn't supposed to be like that. We didn't know that there would be so many people that would be able to tell you were part demon, and most paladins don't ask twice, they just cleave and smite every damn thing in their way. We were trying to protect you."

"Well maybe you could have told me why you were doing all this to me. Maybe I would have been able to do something about it if I ahd known."

    "Like what?"

You consider what your life would have been like if you hadn't been born a paladin. What if you had been a barbarian? Things would have been o much easier. All you have to do is burn, rape, kill...but all of these things are an abomination against what you stand for. It would have been simpler for sure, but it would have been a life of meaninglessness and hatred. You realize that the life you have chosen for yourself is the life that you want, even though it has netted you a half succubus, half angel, half human bride who is just now realizing who she is.

    Simple would just be too...boring.

You look at karen and ask ehr to go wait in her room for you, there's a few things you need to do before you start planning the wedding and stuff. She smiles and gives you a kiss on the cheek before walking out of the room. You turn to her mother. This question has been bugging you for a while.

"Why is it that everyone seems to think you're some kind of god of beauty? You're fair indeed, but you're not quite what everyone says you are."

The queen laughs and says "I've got my charm turned off right now. Maybe you'll get to see it at the wedding."

You shrug and say your goodbyes to her and head back down to the king's chamber to talk to him about your party and the priest.

Upon walking into the king's chamber you see that your party is still here, they're currently partaking in a bit of a feast with the king. He's laughing profusely at what you're sure is one of your bard's many stories of how he escaped X tavern after doing bad thing Y and outsmarting bad dude Z. You approach the party and tell them that they're going to have to find somewhere to sleep for the night.

The king laughs heartily and offers to let the party rest in the castle for the night, anything for the men who saved his daughter from the mad priest and found her a suitable husband. The swordmage rolls his eyes at you, he knows whats going on.

You wink back at him and head off to find karen.

Any last suggestions? Next post is the last one for now, and I'm going to start up again next night some time.

"half succubus, half angel, half human". You start to second guess yourself. This is absurd, what kind of life do I have where I'm stuck with some horrible mutt child and her mother? So that I can eventually rule this kingdom when the little girl's father finally keels over?

No. This ends now. The world finally makes sense now, and you don't know why you fought this epiphany with your blind devotion to protecting the weak and upholding your god's ideals. You give a blood-thirsty roar, "SHUT YOUR WHORE MOUTHS, THIS DRIVEL IS ENDED. YOU DIE NOW FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO MY WOMAN.".

You unsheathe your sword and plunge it through the mother's heart. Both women are to surprised to stop you, and the light from the impaled woman's eyes soon fades. Turn to the girl who is still struck speechless with horror, "YOU ARE MINE NOW, PLEASE ME AND YOU MAY LIVE". You smash her in the side of the head with the flat of your blade, rendering her unconscious and sling her over your shoulder.

Heading off to the throne room, your fearsome demeanor and bloody sword causes people to flee at the sight of you and you encounter no problems until you are at the ceremonial archway. The two guards posted fall easily to your blade, even hindered as you are by the maiden on your shoulder, "IDLENESS HAS MADE YOU WEAK, YOUR CIVILIZATION IS NOTHING WHEN THE STRENGTH OF YOUR MEN FADES". You kick the bloody corpses out of your way and storm into the throne room. The king and his court look on you with fear. You are quite a sight to behold now, soaked in blood with a crazed look in your eyes. To his credit, the King manages to squeak out, "Who are you? What have you done to my daughter?".

The King shrinks back into his throne, "Stay back! GUARDS SEIZE HIM!". The so-called guards stand and do nothing. You can almost smell the foul stench of their cowardice in the air as you taunt, "YES, SEIZE ME IF YOU WISH TO MEET YOUR MAKER THIS DAY!". No one moves to stop you as you make your way to the throne. Pressing your sword's tip to the king's throat, "I claim your crown and your lands, by right of strength. I will make your land strong again by culling the decadent and useless from it, starting with you.". Your sword sinks easily into the man's throat, he's unable to make any sound as his head tips forward causing his crown to fall. You catch it with your other hand and adorn yourself with it.

"Any man that thinks he can take this crown from me is welcome to try, but should you fail your life is forfeit." You pause a moment, inviting anyone to come forward. You knew there wouldn't be. Taking a seat on your throne you address your people, "This is a new era, make yourself useful and you may live to see tomorrow."

    Alright then.
    ---
You head back to Karen's room. You wonder what exactly the two of you are going to do about the wedding and how it's all going to turn out for the two of you. I mean...you're only 22. You've only been adventuring for a couple of years and now you have a wife? How are you going to work this out.

Upon opening the door, these thoughts are pushed from your mind when you see Karen standing there, almost completely naked, nothing but a pair of pink panties on her.

You can see how people would fall for her. Shoulder length pink hair, probably because of her mother's mix of races, emerald green eyes, fairly nice chest. She wasn't as big as her mother, but she looked fine anyways. And man, Dat ass. Who could resist?

    "You ready this time?"

You put on half smile and say "Well, I was hoping we could figure out what we're going to do about the wedding..."

Karen walks up to you and you sort of trail off as she presses her lips to yours.

The wedding plans can wait until tomorrow.
    ---
We're done for tonight folks. What they do in bed is up to your imagination! Sex starved pally meets sex starved Part succubus, you can imagine how that's going to be.

I'll be on tomorrow night since you guys liked this one so much. It'll be a continuation of this story, so stay tuned for more.

Talk with the author time now i guess. Im going to be on for a little wbhile longer, so feel free to ask me questions, give criticism, troll me, I got nothing better to do.

I like the way you write. I've had campaigns with non-evil succubi, and /tg/ers had their share of criticisms. I've had two non-evil succubi since I've started DMing. The one in the current campaign I'm running though, the succubus is quiet evil.

Archive means it gets permanently copied onto some archive place, so the coolness of your story can be linked to friends and co-DMs after today.

Honestly though, you can picture her as looking like whatever you want. I only threw that in there because someone asked for it, and I guess some people need a description or they can't get by.

Maybe your party will get a bit more description, but Main character and Wife are not getting real descriptions, they can look however you want them to.
