    Welcome to Creation Quest.
I'm not a good drawfag, so you will have to use your imagination.

You awaken in a gloomy corridor

You vaguely remember leaving work late yesterday, but the memory is cut off. You hear the steady hum of machinery all around you.

    What do you do?

You begin walking across the corridor, and you notice small windows to your left and right, looking into them you see vast machinery everywhere. Cogs spinning, engines whirring, and exhaust fumes everywhere. You continue walking until you reach the end of the corridor. You see a closed door in front of you. To its left is a small computer terminal. To its right is a small, lit cavity in the wall.

You can use your hands to carry objects, as well as your pant pockets to store them. You have no backpack or briefcase. Upon thinking about your lost briefcase, and how it happened, your head begins to hurt. You decide to avoid thinking about it for the meantime.

You walk up to the computer terminal and notice the blinking cursor
    >_

You try typing various questions regarding the location of this facility, but the terminal could not recognize them as valid commands. You eventually type:
    >QUERY LOCATION

    The terminal returns:

    >>5253133
You can't seem to find any wizard hat or robe. You shrug the thought away.

After around 2 minutes, during which you ate the cake you had previously produced, the constructors create a strange contraption, a head sized ball, with lots of pushable slots all over it. As you push one of the slots, a screwdriver comes out the other end. As you push another one, a single nail comes out of the ball. Not the most useful tool but it is certainly a lot of tools combined. Though you can't help but wonder why it didn't just make a swiss army knife.

    You then type
    >CONSTRUCT BOTTLED WATER, 1 LITER, 3 IN QUANTITY

You walk up to the terminal and type:
    >CONSTRUCT CARBON NANOTUBE CABLE, BULB HANDLES ON EDGE.

The constructor works, and creates the cable, you opt that it'd be best to put it aside, very very carefully.

    >>5253793
    You then type:
    >CONSTRUCT THERMITE

The constructors give you a nice touch of keeping the powders required for the thermite separate. You very carefully lay the thermite on the ground next to the door, and use a magnesium strip to light it on fire. Seeing as you're wearing your heat resistant suit, you aren't afraid of getting burnt. The thermite burns brightly and creates a hole in the door large enough for you to crawl through.

You crawl through the door. As you ask yourself why you took so long to just go through this thin piece of metal, you are surprised to see the vastness of this chamber. You walk through it, and to your left and right you see the aquamarine pillars, and you now notice that they are stirring with movement inside them, as though they were liquid. You walk up to the terminal, and as you do, you notice that behind it is a huge cavity, like a macro copy of the one in the last chamber. It reaches as high as the ceiling, and virtually a kilometer across. You ask yourself what the hell they were doing here.

As you approach the terminal, you can't help but notice the multitude of cables poking out of it from all directions, but most of all, a huge vein of cables is connected to the ceiling. Right in front of the terminal are tiles which are emblazoned with golden colored letters. The letters spell out
    N E B U L A.

You look at the computer's monitor, which is much bigger and more impressive than the last one. It seems to have the same functionality as before, only this time, it has a background picture. It is a simple outline of a 5 winged galaxy, and beneath it is the name Aurum.

Sensation returns to your left arm, which feels perfect. the burns on your shoulder seem to be healing, with the merge of flesh to metal. You feel a great sense of relief, but along with this, more interesting thoughts begin to spring to mind.

With a cybernetic body, you could easily avoid such predicaments again. Maybe you should plan on what you want? An ork power klaw springs to mind, and you squeal with the thought of running through grotz, smacking them with your klaw. And then you realized that you shouldn't limit yourself to lore from a specific genre.

A thought springs to your mind, maybe you should construct a guardian? The grim reaper would surely be able to protect you from any harm. But creating a creature such as that would probably not fare well for the human race, let alone yourself. You put the thought aside.

You begin to notice machinery get created in the construction chamber. You do not recognize their capacities, but you seem to recall something about the fact that in system shock 2, SHODAN wanted to use FTL drives to make the universe one massive cyberspace, you assume that these machines are made for that intent. There has to be a way to stop this nefarious machine!

    What do you do?

You begin to shoot the entire room with your awesome gun. The pillars explode violently, and yet the malevolent AI just looks at you as if you are on the toilet.
You then hear something you've completely disregarded
    "DECONSTRUCTION ALERT... DECONSTRUCTION ALERT"

    This is not good.
You start the MEGAS time warp function, and return to around 10 minutes earlier.

Breathing a huge sigh of relief, you not to yourself that these constructors are not toys. Creating a megalomaniac AI capable of killing all of mankind is not a good idea.

You climb out of MEGAS and walk to the fixed computer terminal. You forget any of those time paradox nonsenses you've contemplated so many hours about, reasoning that it's beyond your capacity to understand.

    You type:
    >CONSTRUCT PERSONAL ENERGY SHIELD, BATTERY POWERED, VERY HIGH RESISTANCE TO ANYTHING POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS, 100% COMPATIBLE WITH JOSEPH ANDREO LEFT BIONIC ARM

The constructor quickly generates an energy shield, without even needing to import. Where is this technology?

You walk up to the cavity and pick up what appears to be a thick, electronic looking cube. You think that it'd be a smart choice to fit it into your bionic arm.

    You then type:
    >CONSTRUCT BATTERY, COMPLIANT WITH ENERGY SHIELD, MAXIMUM LIFETIME

    The computer outputs
    >CONSTRUCTION SUCCESSFUL: LITHIUM ION BATTERY, 65,536 YEAR CAPACITY

You barely notice a small, penny sized battery, like the kind you'd put in a watch. You find a slot to put it in the energy shield generator, and it instantly comes online. You feel the hairs all over your body tingle for a moment, and then you are surrounded by a bubble of near translucent green light.

You decide, in a spur of originality to type
    >CONSTRUCT PERSONAL TELEPORTATION DEVICE, 100% COMPATIBLE WITH JOSEPH ANDREO RIGHT BIONIC ARM.

A cube similar to before is created. You create a battery for it too, and insert it into your arm. You decide, for the hell of it, to blink. Extending your bionic claws, you blink across the room, slashing at air. This is what the shrike must feel like.

You use your lightsaber, and blink to the blast door, cutting through it. The door is thicker than the length of the lightsaber. This is probably a job for the MEGAS.

    What do you do?

BLINK TO OTHER SIDE OF BLAST DOOR
    >> Longrat !WaAAGHm8tg 07/25/09(Sat)17:44 No.5256533
    >>5255713
    You type:
    >LOCATE MARS PATTERN WARHOUND IMPERIAL TITAN

The computer thinks for a moment, and returns the following output:
    >LOCATION UNKNOWN
    >LAST KNOWN LOCATION: CONSTRUCTION CHAMBER 101: DESIGNATION: NEBULA

    >>5256203
    You type:
    >QUERY JOSEPH ANDREO

The terminal processes data and returns the following:
    >JOSEPH ANDREO: CONCEPT: _CLASSIFIED_
    >CONCEPT ORIGIN: _CLASSIFIED_
    >ARRIVAL CHAMBER: 105: DESIGNATION: SUPERNOVA

Your head begins to spin and hurt. You have a feeling that you're not sure you want to see anymore of this information.

    >>5256337
Thinking of a much needed change of subject, you try to blink to the other side of the blast door.

Uncertain of the outcome, you open your eyes as you feel yourself on the other side of the door. The first thing you notice is a lever, labeled "OPEN FULL ACCESS TO CONSTRUCTION CHAMBER NEBULA". You pull it, and the blast doors, along with the ceiling of Corridor 22A open up to you, you spot your beloevd MEGAS and the computer terminal ahead of you. You now realize that the blast door was at least 20 meters thick. Sickening. As your eyes adapt to the bright light, you see what appears to be a mountain of pedestals. Coming in different heights, some are tall, some are short, some are on ledges high above you, and some are in crevices far below you. Walking up to one however, you are horrified, for behind the label "CONSTRUCTION MATRIX: NEBULA" is, what appears to be, a human baby, contained in a glass jar.

That's all for today folks. Stay tuned tomorrow for more CREATION QUEST.
