I vote against Defcon 5. It's too late for that. They already know of us. They will probably look around the world for us once their borders are free of us. If we stay there, it can distract them from our work elsewhere. We might even beat them. After all, if the very plant life around you is an infection source, how can one win?

Regardless of decision, keep Selene safe, as well as Brooke.

Good idea on the plan to counter the counter-virus. And yes, I didn't say I want to weaponize, I said I wanted to research it so it'll be ready if/when we need it. If you look at my two posts, you'll notice that the research would take at least days, most likely a week or more (probably 9+ days, 3+ for every batch) to complete, and that is ONLY research, and PRELIMINARY research at that. To actually weaponize after said research is going to be another length of time, up to a week if we're lucky (if OP is kind), and to then mobilize is going to take another few days. I'm guessing a minimum of 2 weeks from research to mobilization, while realistically, probably longer.
And THAT, is only to research, train, and arm what are essentially glorified militiamen.
