!ZaiyoM.Dpk 07/13/09(Mon)19:01 No.5154338“Selene, how much longer do we have to go?” “I don’t know, quit complaining. I didn’t design this place.” “You’re sure running through it like you did.” “Shut up. “ “No, you.” “No, YOU.”
The two had been running through the maze that is this building for quite a long time. They weaved in and out of corridors, fought with soldiers, talked with those who stayed here, but they still didn’t gain any ground. “Geez…” Kuhn said as they scaled another set of stairs. When they reached the top, they came upon another hall. But before they could step forward, they heard an unfamiliar voice. “Oh my, I heard we had some rats…” A man walked out from behind the corner. “Sorry,” Selene began, “I don’t have time to play around.” The woman leaped forward and flew through the air with great speed. Her foot landed against his face, which sent him reeling backward. Selene smirked at her seemingly easy victory.
“How rude.” Somehow the man had already made his way between Selene and Kuhn. In one movement, he grabbed them both and sent them through a nearby room. “As I was saying: I heard we had some rats, but I didn’t think it’d be two kids.” Kuhn lifted himself from the ground and eyed the man who walked toward them swinging a lance. “Of all people… I’ve heard about him…” Kuhn thought to himself. Selene flipped upward in the air with her bat drawn. “You,” the man began, “I’ve definitely seen you before.” Selene, without a word, ran toward the man and swung her weapon with ferocity. The man blocked it with his own, staring downward at his opponent with a morbid curiosity. “Ah, I remember now.” Selene jumped away, but held herself in an attack position where she landed. |
