    Your team is made up of four party members. Roll 1d10’s to determine which party members you get. Each member starts out with 125 gold. You may never have more than 5 party members. Each person has 3 HP. When HP hits 0, the character is dead. You goal is to climb 20 Floors and fight the BBEG at the top of tower. Why you are fighting her, what she has, and why you are there is up to you. Roll 1d10 to see what the BBEG is, but she does not get their bonuses. The BBEG rolls 2d10 for her attack.

    01- Cleric –Heal (At the end of each battle, the Cleric may heal 1 HP to one character)
    02- Samurai –Bushido (The Samurai rolls two dice and takes highest for attacks)
    03- Princess –Charming (Shop Items are 20% cheaper, and she starts out with +125GD)
    04- Knight –Defend (The Knight reduces the damage she takes by 1)
    05- Rogue – Opportunity Attack (The Rouge automatically kills her opponent when the PE equals her natural attack roll or if she rolls a natural 10)
    06- Necromancer – Life Drain (If the Necromancer kills an enemy by at least 1 point, heal the Necromancer 3HP)
    07- Ranger - Trap Finder (The Ranger makes the team immune to traps)
    08- Mage – Magic Missile (The Mage can reduce all enemy’s roll by 1 on a PE of 0 or 9)
    09- Bard – Jack of All Trades (The Bard can mimic any other Power on a PE of 0 or 9)
    10- Artificer – Crafter (The Artificer can make any potion on a PE of 0 or 9)

    In battle, each of characters rolls a 1d10 and adds their weapon bonus. Then the each enemy rolls a 1d10 and adds their modifier. Each attack must then be allocated to an enemy’s attack. Your highest attack is compared to the enemies highest. If you are equal or over, you kill the enemy. If you are under the enemy’s, you lose 1 HP for each point you are below. Then you compare your second roll to the enemy’s second roll, and so on. If one side outnumbers the other, boost the lowest roll by 1 for each person more the side has. Every Battle you win, you gain gold equal to your PEx2+2 (Post Ending).

    01-02 The party enters a room with a trap. One party member takes damage equal to PE.
    03-06 The party sets up a trap in the room. All members take 1 damage.
    07-12 The party runs into a Dead End. The party must go down floors equal to 1/2 PE (Min1) to find another way around.
    13-20 – One large, poisonous Wrym patrols the room. Wrym, (+3Att)
    21-30 – A group of three Metal Golems activate upon entering the room. Golem (+2att)
    31-42 – Five Massive Spider-Scorpions inhabit the room Spider (+1att)
    43-58 – A band of seven Skeleton Warriors are guarding this floor. Undead
    59-70 – A pod of five large, Leaping Spiders lurk in this room. Spider (-1att)
    71-80 – Three Mud Golems block the exit to the next room. Golem (-2att)
    81-88 – A single young Wyrm blocks the exit to the next room. Wyrm (-3att)
    89-94 You find a treasure room. You are able to loot 50xPE+50Gold and Scroll of the Ethereal Merchant. You can use it to purchase items from the shop.
    95-98 Your team finds a shrine of the Goddess. Everyone in fully healed and revived.
    99-00 You find a cell with a person locked inside. You gain another party member (with no gold or weapons), if your team is 5 people, then you may choose any of the above options or leave a dead teammate behind and replace them with the prisoner.

    Jill and the golem run towards each other; the samurai leaps, the golem raises its fist, and each strikes the mightest blows of their life...there's a resounding clang, a pause, and then the golem slides in two, from fist to heel while Jill coolly slides her sword back into its sheath.

    Jen takes inspiration from her older sister and the near-death experience, and somewhat less elaborately plunges her sword into her killer's forehead, ruining the runes that bound it to this life. The party's two agile fighters hone in on the remaining golem, which vainly tries to focus on both of their fancy footwork before meeting its end at Yuffie's shuriken knives and Tesla's axe.

    The team continues their assent, cautiously.

    OBSERVATION: If you can use potions AFTER seeing rolls, then luck potions are almost always strictly better than Magic Door potions. You can add +5 to your event roll and avoid a dead end with a luck potion on anything but a roll of 7. You will have to fight a nasty poisonous Wyrm, but he isn't so bad, his +3 is canceled out fairly nicely by the party's numbers (assuming you aren't all dead)

She, wishing to deny it to all mortals in a fit of enraged jealousy, locked it away in her webs and intended to keep it there forever.

    Final comments: I think gold needs to be more useful in general. I was lucky to get two treasure rooms, many will never see even one. Perhaps add a random treasure table to the game instead of the "gold and hope for a treasure room" mechanic.

    Potions seem out of whack. I don't know any reason I would ever pick a Health Potion over a Revive potion. I would also never take the weapon enchants at their current prices.

    Specify when potions can be used.

    I assumed gold is just lumped together and spent on the party as a whole- in this case, why not jsut say the party is 4 strong and starts with 500 Gold, rather than that each member has 125? If you intend each member to have separate gold at first, then make it able to be spent to zero in several interesting and different ways.

    Some results are so rare they lose meaning. I was ridiculously lucky to happen to get a 99-00 result twice and have 5 people in the party at the time. That will almost never happen. Having five people really contributed to my ability to succeed.

    Two RNGs are redundant, no other class has this issue.

    Classes do not seem balanced (Samurai >>> Knight or Mage, for instance), but in a game where class determination is random this doesn't matter tons.

    Seeing their lives flashing before their eyes, the party works together like a well-oiled machine to polish off the rest of the spiders. Seeing a sparkle in a pot that was broken during the battle, they discover a dozen gold peices within.

    Standing around in a group conference, they decide that they will use one of their scrolls now. Invoking the magics within, a genie appears, and offers to sell them wares from many planes. Upon being told what they want, he looks a bit disappointed, giving them a gross of revivification potions in exchange for a thousand gold.

    With his business done, he disappears in a flash of smoke, and the party begins moving again.

    Stuff: 11 revive potions, 38 Gold.

    Round 1: Cassie and Eva take out Skeletons, the weakened Sally, Silly and Jenny all eat 2 or more DMG and die. Revive them all- this is a zombie zerg fest people!

    Round 2: 5 v. 5, no more bumps for the lowest on the skeles. Cassie takes 1 DMG. Jenny nukes a skeleton 10 to 10. Sally, Silly and Eva all die once more! Revive each of them (6 pots so far this fight!)

    Round 3: 5 v 4. Cassie and Eva eat dirt! UGH! Revive them (8 pots in one fight!) Silly and Jenny kill Skeletons.

    Round 4: My zombie harem versus Skeletons: 5 v 2. Both fighter's die. Revive them (10 pots, ONE LEFT!)

    Round 5: DOUBLE ONES for me, even after adjustments that is much lower than the 9 and 8 for the skeletons. Silly is dead and un-revivable. CAssie is revied with teh last potions!

    Round 6: 7, 6 v. 4, 3. FINALLY we lay those bones to rest!

    Round 1: This does not look good. Jenny and Sally die again 9 to 6 and 2 to 1. Cassie and Eva manage to take out spiders 4 to 2 and 6 to 5.

    Round 2: PARTY DEATH! Cassie and Eva die horribly on level 14. 6 to 8 and 1 to 6.

    IT'S OVER. Despite getting 4 90+ event rolls in a row and having 5 party members, I still died.

    OBSERVATION: d10's are probably too wide for this game. Taking damage is far more rare than outright death due to the wide range of d10 rolls relative to the character's 3HP. I'd bump things down to d8's, perhaps even d6's.
