Hi there. I'm a sagefag. You might remember me from some of your favorite threads, which I helped to destroy for no other reason than because I wanted to. You might also remember me in a parody of life, lurking about on the darkest parts of 4chan, murmuring "HURR DURR" as I make whimsical statements about your interests.
HOWEVER. Ruby Quest has recently come to my attention, and I've found that I quite like it. The characters are charming, the scenery is disturbing, and the man in charge of it all is quite entertaining in the IRC channel. That said, some of you need perspective.
I'm looking at you, MasterworkBastard and Fuuka.
Let me begin by explaining exactly what I, personally, look for when I sagebomb a thread to death. What I want is simple: I want responses. Responses to my sage make it so that there can be fewer on-topic replies. If I were to state that you are all furries for enjoying Ruby Quest, some asshole would inevitably reply with a green'd "STOP HAVING FUN, YOU GUYS," in an effort to deride what was said. This is not necessary. Do not reply to anything with "sage" in the email field.
Next, are the people that spam "DELETE YOUR POSTS," "SECONDED," "HIS NAME IS SPADE," and "KISS/LICK/FUCK TOM" in the threads. You do not need to reply to these people, either. They are sagefags in disguise. I've done similar things in an effort to attract more responses, thus making the on-topic to off-topic ratio tip in the wrong direction.
With those handy tips, I hope to see you all in the next Ruby Quest thread. Have a good night. And for fuck's sake, people. I so very rarely get to enjoy anything on the Internet. Please don't drive Weaver away by thinking with your e-penis, instead of your brain. |
