Most of these eavedroppers were nerds who looked like they just wanted to jump in and argue with us. We finally ended up on the topic of Halo. I don't know how we managed to turn a Star Wars 40K related topic to Halo, but it some how just shot out. And then it hit me, why not make rules for Spartans, and ODST, as well as Halo vehicles for 40k. This was the birth of the idea to make Codex - UNSC, and after I sort of yelled "I got it! Codex - UNSC!" One of the nerdy eavesdroppers sort of butted in and said "Sorry couldn't help but notice that you two fine young ladies were talking about Star Wars, 40K and Halo. Mind if I join your conversation?" Hikari was reluctent to let them join in the conversation, but I welcomed the help with open arms. After He joined we began to brain storm ideas on how to make the codex believeable, with out it jumping into the BROKEN sector. The only problem was that the guy kept dropping hints at me. Stuff like "Why don't we go to my house to get this thing started?" or, "Why you two come to my place so we can put some ideas down on paper?" They don't seem like very bad ideas from here, but the way he said it, it sounded like he just wanted to get us on his bed, to literally "play" with us. Hikari was the one two drop the hint that we didn't want him here any more. She was kind of blunt and said, "Hey, Luz. I have something i need to talk to you about in private, can you come with me?" After this we went home, and I never saw that nerdy guy again. And believe me, I don't really want to see him again, he wasn't that clean, or well kept. Looked like he hadn't showered for about a week, next to having dirty, stained clothes, and his breath smelled as if he hadn't even drank water that morning. I mean if he would have been a bit cleaner, I might have wanted to talk to him again, but frankly, he didn't come off as much of a very pleasent guy.
Hopefully I won't be up all night trying to remember that other story, though. D:> |
