It was re-released a year later as a Silver Edition, which included an interactive demo for 1998's Baldur's Gate.

Would just like to mention that I have a copy of Forgotten Realms Archives sitting in my bookshelf right now, and it doesn't have Blood and Magic in it, only the other 12 games. There's a two-stage demo of it, but not the full game. I'm guessing it was added in silver edition.
Just wondering about that out loud. Don't actually want to play Blood and Magic, because if the demo gives any indication, it's a horrible, terrible game.

Also, those Buck Rogers games are what got me hooked to sci-fi back in the day. Actually played them before I got exposed to star wars or star treck.

Iron & Blood had cool character ideas but the gameplay was horrible shit, graphics were crappy, too and balance was nonexistent.

The paladin guy had the cheapest moves so a good vs. bad team battle was only even till the good guy got the paladin, then he rapes whoever he fights against by button mashing Eddie Gordo style.

Still was fun for a while because of fuck yeah one armed dwarf warrior vs. crazy pirate goblin fights.
But it kept crashing (on the PSX!!!)

You did two things wrong:
More than one cleric.
Not enough mages.

Dragon encounters tend to end as Delayed Blast Fireball and Meteor Storm spam. The rest are rounded up by Ranger and Paladin working tandem, occasionally helped out by a halfling Fighter/Thief.

Ah, I DLed Buck Rogers to play on my crappy old notebook when I was hospitalized for a week.

It pissed me off when I finally obtained Wizardry 8 (on release day) and I'd managed to lose the saved game from Wiz 7. AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!
