>Starting in January 2009, the Black Library will release the first of a twelve-part series of novels penned by veteran Black Library writers; such as James Swallow, Mike Lee, and the critically acclaimed Dan Abnett. The first is titled "Flow of Tears" - by Bruce Reynolds, and will star everyone's favorite betrayer, Kharn! Who is this brutal gladiator? Why is he called the betrayer? And what happened after the heresy? It's all in here.
>But this is only the itty-bitty tip of the iceburg, gamers! We here at Games Workshop debated for months (literally) if we were going to share what you are about to read here, but I was far too excited to keep this amongst ourselves - me being the cheif executive of the company also helps when making people see things your way! *wink*
>Printed on the last page of each novel will be an offer to purchase a resculpt of Kharn the Betrayer for a small fee plus shipping! I can't even begin to tell you how awesome this miniature looks - the Perry Twins are gods in their field - but you can see for yourself on page 56 of Games Workshop's fall '08 catalog. Each month after the first another novel will be released starring yet another Primarch, and with their own redeemable offer! Half the fun will be guessing who the next story will be about, so I'm not telling you here - though if you REALLY want to know, as I mentioned before, our fall catalog has *some* spoilers...
>The monthly releases will continue throughout 2009 until January 2010, which we here at Games Workshop have nicknamed "Year Zero". I would tell you what that means, but... I've got a pile of leaves to jump into! Have a safe All Hallows Eve, everyone, and see you next quarter!
