You approach the man, and get in a position to face him. Despite his injuries, he looks fairly lively and happy to see you. You awkwardly drum your fingers on the hilt of your sword. You'd made peace with the idea of killing somebody in a fight a long time ago, but killing someone restrained and unarmed feels... wrong."Well, aren't you gonna untie me?" He says, unaware of his situation. "I didn't hear what you were saying, but the voice sounded like Bellow, one of the Wink's inner circle. He's in charge of collecting bounties." You weigh your options right now. Killing him seems wrong, but it's not like you owe him anything. And if you want to get on the good side of Wink's Troupe, it sounds like this guy Bellow is the person to impress considering your line of work. What do you do?>"Listen pal, your boss just asked me to kill you. Tell me why shouldn't.">Untie him and and tell him to go into hiding>Kill him>Leave him for dead

It's becoming clear just what kind of institution Winks Troupe is. "Yea, I kinda saw this coming. Just thought that maybe I had become just valuable enough that Bellow wouldn't just throw me away. If i can serve as any kind of example, if you're thinking of joining Wink's Troupe, don't. But if if you can just let me go, I promise that Wink, Bellow, or even you will never hear of me again. It will be just like I died, okay?" He says, his voice slightly cracked. But you sure as shit don't owe Bellow a damn thing either. Unsheathing your sword, the man winces for a second before realizing you're cutting him down. He lands on his knees and hands. When he looks back up at you, he's crying."Th-thank you." He whispers before trudging away, heading toward the Marine side of the island. You stop to look at him before heading back to Yuto. As you make your way back, you idly wonder if you will ever see him again. Hopefully not. Once he finishes, he puts out he hands like you asked him to, and you clasp his in yours. Although they only cover a fraction of his big, meaty, grippers, as you focus you can feel the nails push through his skin. He looks slightly uncomfortable, but not in any visible pain. There's no blood either. Looking up at him, you nod and begin the trek back into town.(Cont)

As you make your way up a hill to the marine base, you see a construction crew patching up a large hole in the wall. Yuto stifles laughter. When both of you reach the front door, a guard runs in to retreave who you asssume is the commanding officer. You hear him laughing before you see him. He's a very large man, with two cutlasses slung at his waist and a whit coat on his shoulders, sleeves blowing in the wind. Underneath he's wearing a pink collard shirt, cargo shorts, and flip flops. His face is dominated by a large mouth, and mirrored sunglasses cover his eyes. Curly, dirty blonde hair coats his head. "Well, Yuto, glad to see you've decided to come back!" He shouts before turning to you "I'm Captain Jose, pleased to meet you!""I'm Wave. But there is still more to be done.after buying some rations, you buy some new clothes: a pale turquoise button up shirt with a tiny floral pattern, a new dark purple coat with leather shoulderpads and crossbones on the back, new jeans with leather kneepads, and new scaled boots. You also buy some wood and other tools to fix up the ship. As you make your way back to the boat, you can't help but whistle an old song. After all, things are finally starting to look your way. You spend the rest of the day patching up the ship. While you certainly aren't a shipright, the boat is at least marginally safer after your done with it. You even discover her name engraved on the main mast: The Feather Fable. After a few well-placed strikes with a pole, you manage to breake the damn and fill the canal with water. As the sun begins to fall and the wind starts going out to the sea, it would only be a matter of unfurling the sails and Laing down some logs to roll the ship into the canal. But a thought creeps into your mind. Yuto. The guy is obviously not right in the head. Then again, his strength could certainly be an asset. Searching through the cargo hold of the deck, you manage to scrounge up a burlap sack. Poking two eyeholes, you rush off the ship and start heading to the Marine Town. It's strangely quiet at night, and it appears there's a curfew in place. Marines patrol the upper-class neighborhoods near the base, their lanterns providing the only source of light. Using a few Nails, you scurry up to the roof tops, making sure to dissipate them before moving on. As you finally make your way to the base, you see that the area is fairly well lit, with a small guard tower near what looks like a grate made of logs. You here some whimpers from inside.Roll 1d20

He's about to shout with joy before you put your finger to your mouth, shushing him. He places his hands on his mouth and nods. Concentrating, you put your hands together and slowly part them creating a long, thick nail. After making a pair of them, you drop them down to Yuto and imitate a climbing motion. He gets the idea, and begins to use them to climb up the pit. Straining, he shoves against the grate, slowly opening it a crack. As he slowly wriggles his way out, he starts whispering thanks."Thanks bu-"The grate falls back into place with a large thump. A spotlight is shined on Yuto while you hid in his shadow, and a bell starts ringing from the watch tower. "Hey Yuto, I got your momma's ship all ready for you, all you gotta do is unfurl the sails. Before you leave though, you gotta help me.."Your not coming with Yuto?" He looks like he's about to cry again."No, I, uh have to go somewhere else. But that's why I need you to help me steal a ship. Yuto nods, and he gestures for you to follow him. As you hear gunshots, yells, and footsteps behind you, you almost slip on the giant man-child's tears. You take special care to stay in his shadow. It's better if nobody knows someone even helped Yuto escape.Eventually, Yuto stops at the Marine docking area. It's mostly empty, except for a pair of warships and a single small, 2 sail schooner. He points and sniffles as he tries to hold back tears. The sound of trouble gets louder, as you see the light of lanterns down the road growing brighter. Yuto nods silently as you undock the boat and let loose the sails. You watch as he rips a palm tree out of the ground and tosses it at the oncoming group of Marines, knocking over a huge portion of them. He looks one more time at you before giving a small wave and running into the jungle. As far as you can tell, none of the Marines noticed you slip away. As you silently glide over the water, you watch as the sun slowly rises over the horizon. You unfurl a small map of the area, and with a small compass, set a course for Lougetown. There, you could make your way to the Grand Line, where the bounties were higher than almost any in the South Blue. Things were definitely looking your way.Alright, that's all for tonight. >>888529Is this completely noncanon version MANLY enough for you?"Yuto?" "Y-yea?" He blubbers as more tears stream down his face. His crying, for some reason, pisses you off. You clench your fist and jump straight up into the air until you're face-to-face"YUTO! LET'S SEE YA' GRIT THOSE TEETH!!" You shout as you punch him straight in the face. "Have you snapped out of it yet? I give you my word if you ever doubt yourself, I'll come and belt ya' one!" As you walk backwards onto the boat, in a fit of manly brotherhood, you rip of your shirt and put on a pair of oversized sunglasses. "Listen up, Yuto. Don't believe in yourself. Believe in me! Believe in the Wave who believes in you!" You point up at the sky. "Because mine is the nail that will pierce the heavens!" You scream as your ship sails away towards the dawning sun. As Yuto watches you leave, he looks up to the sky and sees images of his family in the clouds."Mama! Ogre! Rico! Kakyoin! It's over."
Anyway, before I go on, I realized that Lougetown is the entrance to Reverse Mountain from the EAST Blue. So instead, we're going through Rougetown. I'm so original.
As you tie up the ship to the docks, and take a step onto the cobblestone streets of Rougetown, your stomach grumbles again. You meant to save some of that ration to catch some fish, but apparently the fish in the South Blue can't stand people food. But it didn't matter. Soon enough you would be in the Grand Line, where work would be plentiful. First, you needed to register at the Marine Base.Walking down the street, you can't help but notice how strange this town is. Everybody here is on edge, especially the ones you can tell would normally be on the wrong side of the law. Every once and awhile, people glance up at a big clock tower in middle of town. Suddenly, the tense atmosphere is broken by a woman screaming as a kid runs off with her purse. You're about do something before a a hook suddenly appears on the nape of the punk's clothes. He drops the purse as he is pulled al the way to the top of the clock tower. The woman simply picks up her purse and keeps walking. Everyone else does the same, going about their business as though nothing happened. Your taken back, and make the choice to try out of trouble while your here. You don't even manage to get ten steps before you here a voice from a nearby ally. "Psst- hey you! Do you want to make some money?" The source of the voice is mostly hidden in the shadows, but you can tell it's a young woman. What do you do?>At least hear her out>Ignore her and keep walking >Talk to her, but don't go into the ally

>>890155>>890171"I'll listen to what you have to say lady, but don't expect me come in to some ally." A groan and a small pause follows your response."I understand. Let's walk and talk, it will look less suspicious."She steps out of the darkness with a bag slung across her back. You finally manage to get a good look at her, she's not at all what you expected. She's certainly dressed like a delinquent, with dark green miniskirt and a black tank top featuring a yellow star, but she doesn't seem to fit her clothes. Her skin is pal, smooth, and clean, and her hair is straight and well-maintained, while her hands are flawless. You both begin to walk together to no particular destination."I saw the boat you sailed in here on. You're not going to make it through Reverse Mountain on that. Lucky for you, I have a ship that can.""So? I'm sure plenty of people here do." "I understand. But how many of those people will pay you for staying on it?""You have my attention." She smiles in a strange, manipulative way. You have a bad feeling about this."Excellent! You see, a... friend of mine is currently unjustly incarcerated in the Marine Base.""So you want me to bust them out, and then you'll give me a ride?" This is starting to get annoying. You've already broken one person out of jail this week. You were a bounty hunter-your job was to get people behind bars, not back through them."Indeed. Along with a large sum of money.""How much?""20,000,000 berri.""What exactly did your friend do?" "Is that a yes?""Maybe." The girl sighs at your response. She's starting to get impatient."She was arrested for hospitalizing 26 Marines. She simply misinterpreted their attempts to check me for undocumented weaponry as an illicit act. It was a honest mistake.""26 Marines?! And you want ME to rescue her?" "It's complicated."You think about accepting the job, and your stomach rumbles. Loudly."I'll make sure you're well fed too." What do you say?>"Fine">"Show me the ship and money first.">"No deal lady. Sorry."
>>890211>"Show me the ship and money first. If its good,"
>>890211>Show me the ship and the money firstWe need proof that we aren't being tricked
>>890233>>890222"Show me the ship and the money first." She nods silently and smiles. She turns around starts heading back to the docks. You eventually reach the shore were the ships are all kept. Most of them are merchant or luxury ships, but a few seem better fit for smuggling or even piracy. She taps you on the shoulder and gestures over to a ship on the far end of the dock. It's a caravel, with polished black railings and dark wooden hull. A cannon is mounted in front, the end of it poking out of a hole below a figurehead of a pair of intertwined serpents. The sculpture is styliized so the railings appear to be long bodies of the snakes, joined at the back of the ship. The ship is definitely one of the nicer ones on the docks, however it appears to have undergone some small damage. "This is a nice ship. But what about the money?" You ask. In response, the woman shifts her body do her back is facing the watchtower. She opens up the bag, revealing stacks of bills and a marine uniform. "What's the uniform for?" You inquire, already suspicious of her plan."Ok. You see that tower? It's currently being manned by Captain Kelly. She's got the best eyesight in the Marines. The only chance you'll have of getting close to the tower without getting hooked is by wearing this. Once your in, find a way to the brig and tell my friend, he name is Miss Green, that Julie Julia requires her assistance. Got it?" She says smiling innocently. What do you say?>"I'll do it.">"How do I get out?">"Find someone else lady."

>>890389>"How do I get out?"
>>890404>>890408"How are you going to get me out? Do you know a prison transfer or somthing?" Julia's smile vanishes. She looks a little embarrassed."Well, I don't exactly know any of the details, but Miss Green will get you out. Trust me.""Are you telling me that she could escape on her own at any time?""Well.... yes and no. Like I said, it's complicated. What isn't however, is your answer. Yes or no?" She looks at you sternly. Your stomach growls again, and you swear she moves the bag of money a few centimeters closer to your face. What do you say?>"Yes">"No."
>>890475>"Yes"Fuck it, We might as well. Since we are fat fucks.
>>890475>"Yes"If we don't get caught, this really should be the last time we bust someone out of jail. Not good for a bounty hunter.
>>890494"Sure. I'll do it." At this, Julia's face lights up with glee."Yes! Go change in the ship, and give me your clothes. I'll have the ready when you get back." As you turn, Julia grabs your wrist, pulls you in, and puts her hands on your head. She seems to be scanning your face, memorizing every detail. "What's your name again?"You don't really know how to react. "Uh... Raine Wave? Can you let me go now?" She seems to be taken back to reality. "Oh, yea, sorry. Now go and get dressed."You do as she says, and change in the bathroom. You leave your equipment and folded clothes on a table. You open the door to find a standard issue Marine riflle, but Julia was nowhere to be found. You start making the trip to the Marine base in the middle of the island. Every once and awhile, you see a flash of light from the top of the tower, and sombody flying up to the balcony. Each time you cringe. You eventually get to the gates and give a salute as you walk in. Eventually, you make it to the inside of the base itself. What now?>Try and find a way to the brig on you own>Ask sombody
>>890650>>890658After looking around a bit, you tap on somebody's shoulder. It's a young man with pink hair and glasses who doesn't seem to be doing anything too consequential. "Hey, I'm a transfer from Enies Lobby," you rember hearing about that somewhere, "and I'm here to do a brig sanitation report. Could you show me were they are?" The young man seems suprised, but he quickly smiles after hearing you."Enies Lobby huh? Sure, the brig is just this way. I'm so glad they finally listened to my request about sanatation in jail cells, I mean how can we expect..." the Marine keeps rambling on and on as he leads you down some stairs and through a few doors. You eventually come to a dark, musty cellar. A the sound of the door opening, you hear the prisoners rousing."...an so I said to the commander, that's not a pirate! That your wife!" His glasses are broken and blood slowly trickles from his nose. Miss Green simply watches. Turning to her, you remember the phrase Julie asked you to repeat. "Julie Julia requires your assistance." You say, and suddenly the woman jolts to life. "Understood." Is all she says before taking a few steps forward and bending the bars in front of her open. She doesn't show any sign of strain whatsoever. Daintily, she steps out of her cell and begins to walk to the exit. Many of the men behind you call out, asking to be set free as well. You ignore them. As you follow Miss Green out of the brig, you try and talk over the voices. "How did you do that so easily? Are you even human? What's going on?" You don't know if she didn't hear you, was going to answer, or had no intention of doing so in the first place. Because before you know it, an explosion rumbles throughout the base. Miss Green immediately begins running up the stairs and back to the surface. You follow close behind. When you finally reach the top, dust and rubble has filled the room. Through it all you can see a figure standing in a hole in the wall, the sunlight making a perfect silhouette. What you see next makes almost zero sense to you. It's Julia, but she's apparently disguised herself as... you. She's wearing a wig to match your lavender hair, and she's also wearing you clothes. Somehow, she's seemingly shifted her extremely feminine figure in order to match yours. Her face is an incredible work of makeup, making it look similar to a painting in your likeness. What she says next takes you even more off guard."Well, well, well, Miss Green, I see you've managed to free yourself! Just what I'd expect from the crew of the dreaded pirate Captain Raine Wave! Ha Ha Ha Ha!" She says in a hammy deep voice. You are utterly, utterly confused. Before you can properly translate that confusion into anger, Julia points at you. "If you would Miss Green, please take that Marine who looks suspiciously like me as a hostage, while we make our hasty escape! Ha ha!"You turn to Miss Green. Miss Green Turns to you."Understood."Well that all for now anons. I promise that I'll do some actual combat next session, which will take place on Saturday at 1:30 pm UTC.
