In the last chapter Zheng Li takes Cai Shi as a concubine and uses her brother Cai Mao to pacify the nobles of the newly acquired Jiangxia. As Yuan Shu begins raiding villages, Zheng Li declares war on Yuan Shu at the behest of Wei Yan. Marching three armies to Pei, Zheng Li defeats Yuan Shu on the field. --------This quest is an RPG-styled game following the Three Kingdoms period of China and the novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms by Luo Guangzhong. You play as a fictional character following through the events of the Three Kingdoms and hopefully rising to become an important player of with the famous figures. You will start off as a no-name, average character who can rise up through effort. Most of the characters and story will follow the events of the novel first, history second, the RoTK games third, and only a very small part will come from the Dynasty Warriors games (Mostly character personalities if suitable). The goal of the game is to create an interesting story more so than win. While this game will not be harsh, mistakes and carelessness may result in the loss of your faction and even the death of your character. Sometimes circumstances may be unfair as not even Zhuge Liang could not save his kingdom after Shu lost Jing province. Still, thinking and common sense should get you through. Whatever the case, my goal is to hopefully see you create an interesting story more than conquering the entirety of China. -------Character info: http://pastebin.com/yDvYKdAk Force info: http://pastebin.com/0e7vF6mZMarket: http://pastebin.com/YwtG4Bjm twitter: https://twitter.com/RainsArpeggio Last thread: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive/580821/
With a retinue of more skilled generals and an experienced army, Yuan Shu's forces are pushed back after suffering heavy losses. They pull back to their camps and they go on the defensive, refusing to engage your forces further. Though your generals brag and make fun of Yuan Shu's cowardice, Lu Fan retains a more serious outlook.“It seems Yuan Shu is intent on holding his forces and waiting for our supplies to exhaust out,” Lu Fan says. “While we only have six months of supplies from having waged war for so long, Yuan Shu has saved up his food stores since the Guangdong Alliance where he withheld supplies from Lord Sun Jian. We should find a way to defeat him or we shall be forced to retreat back home.”At this news several of your officers offer some advice.“Then let us engage his forces in battle,” Yang Jing says. “We will constantly harass his forces and focus on destroying small units all the while taunting his generals and men. Yuan Shu can only tolerate us for so long. I hear the southern warlords oppose Yuan Shu and they raid his southern territories constantly. If we can damage Yuan Shu enough we can force him to retreat.”“If our food stores are the problem, then let us spend time scouting the enemy and holding for now,” Hao Xian suggests. “If we can find the enemy supplies we can raid it for ourselves. Once we find their supply storage, we can split our forces. One to attack and draw the enemy away while the other raid the supply stores.”“I have a different suggestion,” Lu Fan says, “Rather than fight Yuan Shu let us go on the defensive as well and focus on winning the support of the people of Pei. If we can bring Pei to our cause Yuan Shu will be forced to attack us or retreat.”All three suggestions sound fair. What do you do?>destroy Yuan Shu's units and taunt him to battle>scout Yuan Shu's supply lines and raid it>make a defensive line while focusing on gathering Pei's supportCurrent army: -1000 Elite, 1000 Veteran, 1650 Trained, 1000 Adept, 1500 Green -Armaments: 600 improved armor, 300 horses, 250 improved spears, 500 improved crossbows, 3 Warship, 4 Catapult -Morale: High
Hell yes Three Kingdoms Quest! How you doing Arpeggio?
>>683007>scout Yuan Shu's supply lines and raid itBest of both right here, maybe mix in some small unit killing with some of our other officers. Harass him and bleed him white.
>>683007>>scout Yuan Shu's supply lines and raid it
>>683007>scout Yuan Shu's supply lines and raid itHi Arpeggio! Hope life is well!
>>683007>>scout Yuan Shu's supply lines and raid it>>make a defensive line while focusing on gathering Pei's supportWhile we scout for his supply line gather as much support as we can in Pei
>>683007>>make a defensive line while focusing on gathering Pei's supportPlay the long game, but maybe send>scout Yuan Shu's supply lines and raid it out a few scouts to find his supply lines anyways. We need the people's support, anyways.>>683062Basically this
Alright guys, what are the chances of yuan shao thinking through our plans and setting up a trap for us? Personally I think quite high. Having pei on our side is nice but what if yuan shao already has contacts in the city?Personally there are two ways I see going about this. We either set up behind their lines somehow. Or we split our efforts and allocate our resources between strengthening pei and going after his supplies. If we are going to set up behind his lines and go full guerrilla on his ass that'll probably involve RNGsus rolls because the green troops will slow us down. But if we hold Pei with green troops we risk a nasty revolt with yuan shao sympathizers. We need our troops to gain experience, but we need to diminish the risk of failure.I say we go behind enemy lines with our elite troops and fuck his shit up, then we should goad them into a trap and fuck their shit up within the sight of pei. It's a win win in which if we do it fast enough we diminish uprising risk, gain respect and reverence, and crush the enemy utterly.
>>683128>Yuan Shu>Outsmarting usHoly shit, I have never been this insulted before
Following Hao Xian's plan, you send out several scouting parties while positing your forces near Yuan Shu's camp as to draw their attention away. Making what looks like preparations for a huge attack, you place Yuan Shu on the defensive and fool his forces. Your lesser generals Lu Qian and Cai Mao are sent to head the scouting while your more renown generals stay at the front to fool the enemy. It may take some time to fully find the supply lines and the storage. In the meantime you make preparations for the raid and decoy attack. In one noontime as you oversee your troops, you find several half-naked men outside Wang Yi's camp forced to kneel on the ground with heavy bricks on their thighs. It looks rather painful and when you ask Wang Yi about it she crosses her arms with an annoyed look."The fools have been talking behind my back, calling me Demon again. I have strictly forbidden the louts from calling me that so they need to be punished.""We use the name as a compliment!" one of the men whines in a screechy voice from the pain."Shut up! Stay quit or I'll add another hour!">laugh and say the men deserve it>tell Wang Yi to let the men go
>>683138>I was just pretending to be retartedNaaah okay okay I won't go full autistic mode now>>683069I'll vote this.
>>683156>tell Wang Yi to let the men goeven if it is a term of respect in their eyes, they should do their best to keep it out of the earshot of their Officers, they learned their lesson. She will still be the Demon, hell this wil just help word spread, wont it.
>>683156>>laugh and say the men deserve it>>tell Wang Yi to let the men goLike, take it jokingly, but just tell her not to take it too far. Also, tell her if she wants to punish someone, she should be punishing Hao Xian. Because I ship them so bad
>>683156>good wang yi, you seem to not appreciate the surname your troops have unwillingly bestowed upon you, pray tell why you find it so offensive?I lied about pretending to be autistic
>>683156>laugh and say the men deserve itClearly General Wang doesn't see it as a compliment.
>>683156>>683184>"Wait. So you want to get them to stop calling you a demon... by beating them really badly?"
>>683202Kek include this, it's a good point.
>>683156>>tell Wang Yi to let the men goHoly crap calm down.
You laugh at the reason of punishment and make a joking comment at the situation.“You wish for them to stop calling you the name, but you punish them like this? Is this not contradictory?” you ask. You move towards the men and with a push of your feet you remove the heavy bricks weighing down their knees. “Hey hey hey!” Wang Yi calls out at your gesture.“I think they have been punished enough,” you say. “Let the poor men go, I am sure they will stop. Maybe your new nickname can be Torturer.”“Bah...” Wang Yi says crossing her arms again and frowning. “Fine, get out you louts,” Wang Yi says to the men as she motions with her chin for the men to leave. The men get up, flinching a bit from their punishment before they bow to you and Wang Yi several times.“Thank you, thank you, we shall never call General Wang Yi a demon again!”“Useless fools, you just did!” Wang Yi says with a raised fist as the men yelp in terror and they clumsily run off as fast as they can.“I must say, ever since I joined you my reputation has suffered more than it has done good, my Lord,” Wang Yi says scratching the back of her head. “And that blasted Hao Xian, I think he has encouraged the spread of rumors. And he's always taunting me and making fun of me” she says with a grit of her teeth and wriggling her fingers as if choking an invisible Hao Xian.>apologize, say it'll be all worth it soon enough>I would be proud of a nickname like Demon>Hao Xian probably likes you
>>683304>>Hao Xian probably likes you>"Why not try taunting him back instead?"
>>683304>apologize, say it'll be all worth it soon enough>I would be proud of a nickname like Demon>Hao Xian probably likes youAll this, yes.
>>683304>apologize, say it'll be all worth it soon enough
>>683304>>683320>"It's like fighting, but with words. Rather than defending, why not try countering? Just don't take it too far. I'd rather not have my generals fighting each other more than the enemy."
>>683304>apologize, say it'll be all worth it soon enough>I would be proud of a nickname like Demon
"Why not make fun of him back?" you ask. "You could try ruining his reputation in turn.""I have tried!" Wang Yi says gritting her teeth. "I said that his mustache makes him look like a sniveling villain, like those eunuchs at court, and he laughed it off and said being a villain doesn't sound bad at all. When I said his fighting ability is as small as his manhood he laughed at me again and said 'You must think highly of my swordsmanship then'. There's no getting through to him!" Wang Yi complains as continues to pretend to choke an invisible Hao Xian. That certainly sounds like Hao Xian. Not really prone to anger and a calm individual for the most part. You laugh at Wang Yi's comments."This is not funny my Lord!" Wang Yi complains."Hao Xian is a good man," you say. "If he is poking fun at you so much then it must mean he really likes you.""Huh!?" Wang Yi says in disbelief. "That is nonsense. What kind of man keeps aggravating a woman he likes. If he had any interest in me than he would stop being such an annoyance and court properly.""That's just the way he is," you say. "I have known him for a long while. You should see him poking fun at Yang Jing all the time He likes making small quips here and there and he does not care for all those romantic cliches of courting. It is likely his way of getting to know you better."Wang Yi sighs."Well I do not find him interesting at all. He can act cute all he wants, I shall curse him a thousand times!"
>>683509After a few weeks, Lu Qian and Cai Mao make a report to you. They have spent a lot of time throughly searching out Yuan Shu's supply lines and his supply depots, hidden away in a small village near the border of Pei. Apparently Yuan Shu drove the people there out and is using the village as his food storage. Every week new supplies are sent there from Yuan Shu's lands and Lu Qian has mapped out the supply line transit. It seems the time has come to lay out your plans. You must attack a part of Yuan Shu's camp to draw out the enemy forces, while a small detachment raids the supply storage. Which job do you oversee, and which officers do you take with you?>oversee the decoy attack>oversee the supply raid>choose which officers go with you
>>683515We should oversee the decoy attack. It'll be more convincing that way.As to who we bring along? Well wang yi and her reputation/skillet would be better off raiding the supplies, anyone else would also be fine but yang jing should definately stay with us, subterfuge is not his skill set.
>>683515>>oversee the decoy attackSee >>683554
>>683515>oversee the decoy attackUse ourselves for the bait. Take Yang Jing, Wei Yan, Cai Mao and Lu Qian with us.Have Wang Yi, Hao Xian, Zhang He raid the supplies.
>>683515>oversee the decoy attack
>>683515>>oversee the decoy attack>>683554This, really. Keep the big, flashy, badasses with us, send the more skill-focused people to fuck up and steal their supplies, if they can.
>>683578Should we leave some officers to mind the front? We might get attacked during this operation.
>>683608I guess leave Lu Fan and Cai Mao at the front.
>>683602Badasses with us, Skill and Wang yi with raid team.worst comes to worst she sets fire and burns down the supplies
>>683515>>oversee the decoy attack>>683625I was going to suggest Fire Attack anyways. When they realize their supplies are burning, it'll demoralize them.
You organize yourself to lead the general attack against the enemy front to lure out the rest of Yuan Shu's troops. In the meanwhile you assign Wang Yi, Hao Xian, and Zhang He to lead the detachment raid troops to attack Yuan Shu's supply lines. Your forces split off, and with loud beats of drums and horns you make plenty noise in the direction of your attack against Yuan Shu's camps. At the sight of your army approaching, Yuan Shu's forces begin gathering. You see from their camp that they are putting themselves in a defensive position with infantry on the ground and archers on the wooden palisades of their camps. It seems they are refusing to go out and fight and you will need to bring the battle to them if you want to draw the rest of Yuan Shu's forces to your positionHow do you proceed with the attack?>make hit and run attacks, focusing on harassment>attack fiercely and all-out >stay back, focus on missile fire and catapult bombardment
>>683745>make hit and run attacks, focusing on harassment>stay back, focus on missile fire and catapult bombardmentdraw them out if we can, maybe try to start fires in their camp, bleed them white otherwise. always harass and kill if nothing else. Especially the Yuans.
>>683745>>make hit and run attacks, focusing on harassment>>stay back, focus on missile fire and catapult bombardmentTry and get forces to flank, while every time we're NOT engaging with our infantry/cavalry, bombarding them with everything, however, once they see/receive word of their supplies getting fucked, switch to >attack fiercely and all-out to shatter their morale
>>683745>>attack fiercely and all-outThis is the only way to get them to commit unfortunately.
>>683745We need to make an actual show of this to draw their attention away. Make a challenge to duel an enemy general.
>>683745>>attack fiercely and all-outOnly way to keep attention.
>>683745>>attack fiercely and all-outWe must force the battle in order to distract the enemy.
>>683745>attack fiercely and all-out>focus on missile fire and catapult bombardmenthave them focus on the archer towers
>>683796>all out attackwhoops
>>683745We need to get them to commit, however since they are in an adventagous positions we should bombard their palisades with our catapults, in the meanwhile we should provide a thin line of shield bearers to yell and screen the rest of our troops which will fire and move behind the line and set up traps for preparation. Then when the traps are done and the enemy has less of a height advantage for their ranged units, we send in the cavalry, commit to a charge if possible. Then pull out when a counter attack is imminent, the troops stupid enough to chase after us will be caught in the traps and slaughtered.Whew lads did I get this in time?
You know full well that you must make a fierce attack against the enemy if you want to draw the rest of Yuan Shu's troops, even if it means there will be some casualties. You steel yourself for a tough battle and you organize your men in formation to attack. Giving a hearty speech to the men on the glory of battle, you march your troops against Yuan Shu's camps and your warriors all shout as they make their advance. As soon as you come in the enemy range arrows come flying at you. Your infantry raise their shields and form a shieldwall as they advance. A number of your men fall, but you press on to the enemy. As you reach near the camp, the enemy infantry come charging themselves. They smash against your lines and a bloody melee ensues. What do you do in the battle?>fight at the front with your infantry>lead your archers to pick off the enemy archers at the walls>scour the battlefield and find enemy leaders to kill
>>683862>lead your archers to pick off the enemy archers at the walls
>>683862Fight at the front, we'll be able to bolster our moral and take the camp quickly.
>>683862>>lead your archers to pick off the enemy archers at the walls
>>683862Well a more elaborate plan utilizing most of our resources would have been more effective. But I digress.>find leaders to killShould be our first objectiveSecondary objective is to wipe the archers off those walls.I'm assuming we don't have control over the catapult anymore eh?
>>683862>scour the battlefield and find enemy leaders to killIf you guys are so concerned about enemy archers, have Lu Qian have some men and himself 360 noscope headshot and walk away them. Lu Qian is a good archer.
>>683862>>fight at the front with your infantry>scour the battlefield and find enemy leaders to killCall them out and everything. We want their attention, right? But mostly the latter. Yuan Shu's strength is ENTIRELY in his generals. If we can pick off some of the better ones, he returns to being an incompetent fuck.
On a side note, we should totally requisition as many improved arms and armor that we can. I really want to properly equip everyone in our force. The effectiveness of each unit would skyrocket in battle.
>>683862>>scour the battlefield and find enemy leaders to kill
>>683967Given that like 60-80% of every lords army is forcibly conscripted peasants, wearing cloth and a stick, it's a decent point.
You dash across the battlefield on your horse looking for enemy men of ranks to kill. You find an enemy lieutenant leading a squad of men to battle and urging your steed forward you come upon the enemy. With a swift swing of your sword you slice through the enemy lieutenant and kill him as his body goes flying to the ground. The enemy soldiers in rage thrust their spears at you but you skillfully dodge, leaving them in your horse's dust as you look for the next enemy ranked man.Another enemy lieutenant comes charging forward at you with his spear raised, intent on taking you down and taking glory. Meeting him with your killing edge, your weapons only clash a few times before your blade slashes at his throat making a fountain of blood spurt out as he falls.Another man in armor and spear comes charging at you, this time a captain.>Post 5 rounds of tactics and 1d100 roll.>Strike > Swing > Parry

Though your armor has protected you and you managed to quickly pull back your body before his spear broke through, you are slightly wounded. Taking a more cautious approach after your wound, you begin to skillfully attack the enemy captain and overpower him. You slash at his body and bring him down, clearly the better warrior. As the captain falls a shout comes from the enemy lines. The enemy general Zhang Xun is coming at you.“Foul knave, false leader! Alright guys, so I did some side research and I've unveiled a couple important things:The importance of shock and the cavalry charge:A lot of troops really don't know how to deal with cavalry charges in this time period, we need tactics to negate enemy shock values and enhance our own. I have some solutions- in order to bolster our shock potential we could adopt horse armor for the front most men in our cavalry regiments to increase survivability and impact effectiveness. It's a costly investment but it's guaranteed results. To counteract shock values I recommend that we do some unit composition shifting, in this era crossbows have longer range and power than most bows and as such are primarily used as an indirect fire tool, if we incorporate crossbows as a frontline direct fire tool, it increases the range and power as well by being in the front lines. The only issue is security, that's why a healthy supplement of spears should make a tercio like unit of 1/3 spears and 2/3 crossbows and extremely effective and highly optimal frontline combat composition. It's simple too, nothing really fancy about it.Any thoughts?Personally I'm a big fan of combat engineers so if they are a thing we should get them, or at least I would like to do so, unrelated but still.
>>684407Oh yeah and because the crossbows will be so close to the front lines, cavalry charges will lose all impact if they are made head on, the crossbows will take out the first few ranks imediatly and any cavalry that gets through the obstacles the corpses created, they will just get skewered.
Strike vs Swing (Zhang Xun: -20 HP)Parry vs Strike (Zhang Xun: -17 HP)Strike vs Parry (Zheng Li: -12 HP)Swing vs Parry (Zhang Xun: -19 HP)Strike vs Parry (Zheng Li: -7 HP)Zheng Li: 50 HPZhang Xun: 48 HPDespite your injuries you give no hesitation in falling back. Raising your sword mid-air, you shout back at the encroaching enemy general as you charge at him. “My life shall not be ended by a pawn, prepare yourself for my blade!”The two of you charge at one another and your horses pass by one another as you both make your attacks. While Zhang Xun swings at your head, you quickly duck under the force of his trident and you manage to make a stab at his breastplate. He grunts as the force of your attack makes his body flinch.Turning both your horses around, the two of you go for another bout. You parry the attacks Zhang Xun makes you with a counter riposte you make another blow to his body with your blade. The man is surprised at your resilence and skillful attacks, but with a grit of his teeth he continues the duel. The two of you exchange blows and Zhang Xun manages to get a small stab at your leg while you manage to make a strong swing at his head that knocks his helmet off to the floor. As Zhang Xun's helmet falls with a thud on the ground and the side of his head bleeding, he finds himself worsted by you and begins to flee. Grabbing Zhang Xun's helmet as a prize and trophy, you begin falling back to your lines to get out of harm's way and to oversee the battle from behind. You raise the helmet above your banners, and with a shout you announce the defeat of Zhang Xun. The spirits of your men are lifted as they see the helm and their lord who has bravely fought at the front. The battle rages on. At the front Yang Jing, Song Qian, and Wei Yan attack fiercely with waves of troops. They participate on the melee itself as they go around encouraging the infantry and aiding any lines that are in need of extra strength. Yang Jing in particular smashes through one line of the enemy defense and with a swing of his axe sends three men flying.Cai Mai and Lu Qian takes the lines behind commanding the archers. They focus on providing cover fire for your infantry and pick off what enemy troops they can on the camp walls. As it looks like you are about to break through, the enemy begins to call for help and troops from the other camps come as reinforcements. Your fierce attack on the enemy has worked and it is only a matter of time before the others can raid the enemy storage. You continue to encourage your men and the battle continues. More and more enemy troops begin to pour in, and it should be time now for your detachment force to have arrived at the enemy storage. By now the enemy supply lines should be raided and their food stores burning. What do you do?>make a retreat and pretend defeat>continue your attack and inflict more casualties on the enemy
>>684652>continue your attack and inflict more casualties on the enemyLet's keep going while the momentum is high. If Yuan Shu calls for a general retreat, leave one direction open to them. We don't want them to fight to the last man.

>>684652We are winning at the moment we should press the attack until signs of losing. We also gotta make sure we gave them enough time. >continue your attack and inflict more casualties on the enemyonly for a lil while longer
You press on the attack, encouraging your men to fight harder and wishing to damage Yuan Shu as much as possible. The battle goes on longer and you begin to suffer more casualties. You refuse to back down however and you keep the attack staunchly. Smoke begins to rise from the northeast. The raid at Yuan Shu's supply stores have worked and as news comes from Yuan Shu's backlines about the food supply having been raided, mass confusion and panic begins to overcome the enemy. Troops begin scattering and Yuan Shu begins retreating his forces. "Go forth men!" you yell. "The time to eliminate Yuan Shu has come, do not let that rat escape!"Your men shout and they begin putting the retreating soldiers to the slaughter. Your continued perseverance has paid off as Yuan Shu suffers heavy casualties. For the next week you begin mopping up enemy units left behind and the detachment forces led by Wang Yi, Hao Xian, and Zhang He attack at the enemy flanks. >>684869>>684898IIRC, the ranks go from Green Recruits (40 WAR) > Adept (50 WAR) > Trained (60 WAR) > Veteran (70 WAR) > Elite (80 WAR) > Crack (90 WAR)Correct me if I'm wrong. If Arpeggio wanted to go full ALT-HISTORY he'd probably let us recruit an original officer from the Crack troops.
>>684869Right then, we managed to leave one hell of a mark on Yuan Shu's forces. With such heavy loses on a war he instigated, moral and the people's respect for him will be low. Should buy us time to build up our economy, work on our super project, and go for a heir. Seriously, we really need to grab a wife and start making children.
>>685534>If Arpeggio wanted to go full ALT-HISTORY he'd probably let us recruit an original officer from the Crack troops.ALRIGHTLET'S DO THISLET'S RECRUIT SOMEONE NAMED WU BUFOLLOW OUR DREAMS
>>685912We technically have a son already
>>686030Adopted, but not from our actual wife or genetic. That means he is going to be pretty low when it comes to birthright. It will get much harder to get a wife as we get older, and starting a family will be more difficult when everything goes nuts once the conflicts up north are dealt with. We solidify our main holdings first, get our family and name going, get the academy going now to get as many good soldiers out of there ASAP, and then start working south.
>>685912With some luck our concubine might grant us a kid some time soon. That would at least be something. We should also remember that we may be able to court Sun Jian's daughter in the future.
>>686182We are 25 years old and Sun Jian's Daughter is likely not even ten. Remember, 50 is considering old for that time and 30 past marrying age. Grab a first wife, have her be the second if need be.
>>686223If i remember correctly arpeggio said that ssx may get aged up. Dont quote me on that but ither last thread or the one before that, in the post thread q&a the question was raised reguarding ssx and our age and all the lolifags wanting her to be "legal" by rotk time standards so we could get best tomboy waifu and be Sun jians literal senpai
>>686258If it happens, it happens, but we should be ready for contingencies if thats the case. We do need to see Sun Jian to cement our alliance and see how he's doing.
>>686258what the fuck I thought i typed Senpai. Where the fuck did sempai come from
>>686272I'd say meeting up with him after we're done thrashing Yuan Shu is a good idea. At the very least, we could see if maybe having an officer of ours get married off to one of his retinue is possible.
>>686285Jesus christ I must be tired F , A , M rather than sempai
>>686289Ehhh, not sure we should go full on assault on Yuan Shu. We have indeed wounded his army, but we also need to solidify our control and build up our forces. We are spreading ourselves dangerously thin with our officers and the constant use of gold and resources isn't helping. Our farms need to improve, we should definetly spend 500 gold on our school pronto, and proceed to build up our officer core. We are doing remarkably well as it is in terms of gaining territory, so we should focus on making what we have solid. After all, Yuan Shu is in no shape for a counter and if we spread rumors, we could get the people to revolt.
>>686315To add on that, think of it like this; We entered this war due to unjust raiding on our lands. We met Yuan Shu who admitted he did it because we did not deserve it. Then proceeded to wipe out his army, kill one of his commanders, and chase him a bit. Finally, we took out a supply depot he made from a village he evicted, beat another of his officers in a duel we led, then routed a large number of his army while sustaining light casualties. In terms of our mission, we had a major success, proved our superiority and justice, and possibly took some extra territory to boot. However, If I recall, this land was also recently conquered by Yuan Shu and has likely not been fortified. Going after Yuan Shu now will put us at a costly siege when we may lack supplies and also seem rather greedy.
>>686105Cai Cong could be our Liu Feng
Rolled 99 (1d100)Did we DESTROY his supplies, or did we STEAL them? they are two very different things
>>687055The intent was to do both, but to destroy if they couldnt be salvaged at all.
Wang Yi best waifu
>>688396Smiling Demon is top-tier waifu
>>688494She is starting to take precedence for me too, though Hao is a good match for her
>>686589Liu Feng is a good case, but that is more due to the fact his only competition was Liu Chan. That and Liu Bei sorta killed Feng in a fit of rage due to being a idiot. Always a good idea to have back ups and considering Cong is not directly related to us, it may turn out better than it did for Liu Biao.
I think we're overdue for a marriage. We're old enough and there's always a chance for us to die early so it's better if we have an heir that we can train. SSX is way too young right now and we can't wait forever. She can always be our second wife later. My vote goes for marrying Wang Yi now, she's accomplished and has good family connections. Plus I'm sure our children will be beasts
>>689853Wang Yi isn't the only woman around, and we can get her connections by setting he up with Hao. I vote for organizing a search for prospective brides once we finish off Yuan Shu
>>689897Nothing like your own warrior waifu fighting beside you. We can find another for Hao, someone more advantageous even. No need to set up this shit, it's getting cheesy as fuck
>>689980>it's getting cheesy as fuckYou're speaking like it's something bad.
>>689853Would prefer not to cuck hao xian. Also arpeggio did say he'd up-age SSX.
Can we please stop acting like fucking teenage girls shipping their favorite celebrities?
>>689980We're not cucking Hao Xian. We're loyal to our bros.
>>690015Are... are you new here?>Look at this faggot who doesn't have a shipping chart and graphs
>wufagsTo hell with SSX
>>690146Its not cucking if he enjoys it
>>690202Actually, yes it is. That is one of the key definitions of being a cuckold; being ok that your significant other is being screwed by someone else.>>690015Like it or lump it we do need to get someone soon. Either for love, politics, or to secure the next generation. We just need to be smart about it.>>689897I honestly think we will not be able to take out Yuan Shu right now. Even if we got some supplies, we likely do not have enough to preform a siege of any length. Maybe harass the outskirts of his land, secure what we won, and maybe spread word of our victory, but right now we need to rebuild our supplies, fortify, and improve.
>>689853Let's off Yuan Shu and take his wife to save her from being killed by his jealous bimbo concubines
>>690306This picture encourages me to concur with this plan.
>>690306Go from tea pots to women.
>>690367Out-Cao the Cao
>>690306I can totally live with this
>>690273>That is one of the key definitions of being a cuckold; being ok that your significant other is being screwed by someone else. But that is false.
>>685534Wtf no. He said crack troops are around 70 war. Do you realize how ridiculous it would be to have a hundred men as strong as Dian Wei?Also we already set up Hao with Wang Yi. Stop being whishy washy. If we want a heir then we look around for a noble woman to marry or wait for "love" like most of you fuccbois wanted when op gave us a choice to search for women.
>>691020Honestly I just assume Crack troops are low-tier generals. So like, anywhere from 70-80 war. Probably 75.But they're still fucking insane.>>691020I'm still gunning for SX desu. Get that lianshi puss as a package deal. Then swing around and nab Yuan Shu's girl as a concubine. Not like he knows what to do with her anyways.
The battlefields of Pei is littered with the corpses of Yuan Shu's soldiers and he has suffered a drastic defeat at your hands. Wang Yi, Hao Xian, and Zhang He return to you after their successful raid. They captured what supplies they could and destroyed the rest to weaken Yuan Shu's logistics. You order a feast of meat and wine for your soldiers as reward for their deeds in battle and your men happily cheer in response. You find the three generals have a small bickering.“You cannot be serious, you think you were the one that obtained most merit?” Wang Yi says with a frown and stabbing Hao Xian in the chest with her finger. “I was the one who broke through their barricades and charged in, and it was my unit that wrecked havoc in their lines.”“And what an unfortunate end you would have met if I had not set-up an ambush for the reinforcing troops and gave you the chance to take their supplies,” Hao Xian replies with a smug smirk. “Did you see the enemy general Chen Ji flee in terror?”“Who cares about some Chen Ji?” Wang Yi says with a scoff. “My grandmother could beat a Chen Ji.”You look at your three generals and Zhang He greets you with a salute. You ask him what the whole squabble is about and Zhang He dismisses it with a wave of his hand.“Nothing much my Lord, the two are always trying to one-up each other. Lady Wang Yi was the first to breach the ranks, and charging in with her unit of cavalry, she slew many soldiers. Lord Hao Xian set an ambush between two hills and when the enemy reinforcements came he drove them off with a great flight. They argue over who did the most work.”You ask what Zhang He did, and he says he led the general attack commanding the infantry and support troops. He oversaw the battle in general while Hao Xian and Wang Yi led units to score their respective victories.Do you say a word on the matter?>give the merit to Wang Yi for the first to break through>give the merit to Hao Xian for his ambush of enemy reinforcements >give the merit to Zhang He for generally overseeing most of the battlefield>let the two bicker and move on with life
>>691154>>give the merit to Zhang He for generally overseeing most of the battlefieldYou two should just marry already.
>>691154>>give the merit to Zhang He for generally overseeing most of the battlefieldCommend him for seeing the bigger picture. Focusing on the small details is nice and all but excellent commanders can read the battlefield like a book. Also plan Hao Xian and Wang Yi's eventual engagement with Lu Fan's assistance.
>>691154>give the merit to Wang Yi for the first to break throughNot even most men have the courage to be the vanguard for an attack. It is most encouraging for us and most shameful for the enemy.
>>691154>>give the merit to Zhang He for generally overseeing most of the battlefieldWell if they can't agree they will just have to try to out do each other the next time.
>>691154>>give the merit to Zhang He for generally overseeing most of the battlefieldBased Zhang He, humble as shit
>>691154>give the merit to Zhang He for generally overseeing most of the battlefield
“For properly overseeing the battle, not being caught up with glory, and for his good nature in being humble, Zhang He shall gain the most meritorious honor,” you announce. “Let it be a lesson to you both. A general must see the bigger picture rather than only look for merits in battle.”“Ugh,” Wang Yi says.“Eh...” Hao Xian replies.Zhang He only chuckles in response and bows respectively to you.“Well, I do not mind giving the victor to Lord Zhang He,” Hao Xian says. “But I certainly know that I won second place.”“My ass you did!”The bickering goes on.
>>691356With the battle won at Pei won you move your troops to pacify the area. Without local professional troops and without defense, Pei cannot surely fight against you, especially when you just demonstrated your trouncing of Yuan Shu.You are also wounded and while you have been treated, you need some rest to fully recover. You move yourself and your troops to the village of Xiyang, the main centerpiece of Pei which does not hold any remarkable big cities. The village of Xiyang is small and the sight of your army a number of the inhabits rush inside their homes and get out of your way. It seems quite clear that the villagers do not want anything to do with you, and the sight of men in armor and spears troubles them. You move to the main headquarters where you call to meet the elder of the village. An elderly man in a cane comes out. He walks in a slow pace and he coughs a few times. He greets you with a bow.“Welcome Lord Zheng. I am Elder Ling and I am the overseer of Pei. Please, let me offer you the seal of Pei and give you the administration of this area.”>accept the seal with gratitude>refuse the seal, say that you will leave soon>pretend the refusal of the seal for pleasantries sake, but you will still take over Pei
>>691373>>pretend the refusal of the seal for pleasantries sake, but you will still take over PeiRefuse it three times! Then accept it on the fourth!
>>691373>pretend the refusal of the seal for pleasantries sake, but you will still take over PeiSomething like three offers to not be an insult, yes? my lore is a bit rusty.
>>691373>>pretend the refusal of the seal for pleasantries sake, but you will still take over Pei
>>691387It's actually a courtesy thing in Chinese culture spanning throughout history.
>>691400Is it? Learned something today. Thanks.
>>691373>pretend the refusal of the seal for pleasantries sake, but you will still take over PeiSeals are outdated, take over immediately
>>691407Shit, lore? i meant customs. goddammit.sorry, anons.
>>691373>>pretend the refusal of the seal for pleasantries sake, but you will still take over PeiTake that shit, but be all ancient chinese polite about it, or some shit
>>691415It's really just the same since lore, culture, and courtesy blurs together into history if/when you look at it from an anthropological point of view.
>>691428That is also a good point. Still, me thinking and drinking don't exactly mix. I'll try to stick to voting.Though, i'll try to pick up cultural lessons where i can.
Clasping your hands together, you bow to the elderly man.“I cannot take your seal,” you state. “You are the proper leader of this commandery and I was only here to fight against Yuan Shu.”“I must insist Lord Zheng,” the elderly the man says. “You are more than I could ever be and you can lead Pei to prosperity.”You play the small game of courtesies as you pretend to refuse the seal, but you eventually take the seal and fake the act of giving in to the elder's pleas. With the seal taken the elderly man leads you in to the main administrative building. He coughs several times along the way and his pace of walking is rather slow and the old man's age is showing. As he shows you around the building, a woman soon comes up.“Father, you should not be walking at your age,” the woman says. “Please, go get some rest. Let me take care of things here.” While the old man tries to refuse, the woman insists, and eventually he consents. The woman turns to you and bows.“Forgive me and my father, he is in poor health and he is already old,” the lady replies. “Allow me to help you with the rest Lord Zheng. I am Ling Chi and I have been aiding my father in his tasks.”>politely greet her and let the woman aid you>dismiss the woman, tell her you will take care of the rest
>>691494>politely greet her and let the woman aid you
>>691494>>politely greet her and let the woman aid you
>>691494>>politely greet her and let the woman aid youLet the locals tell us shit, and since she's the last guy's daughter, she probably knows shit.
>>691373>accept the seal with gratitudeWe took over the area, we're not massacring them. There's nothing to fear.
>>691494>>politely greet her and let the woman aid youGotta keep up the polite angle since our stats can't POL and CHR ourselves out of a wet paper bag.
“Please, lead the way,” you tell Ling Chi and do a small bow. She responds with a polite bow back to you and leads you to the main office of the building. There she gives you the paperwork and the overseen work of Pei. The commandery is a rather unremarkable place with little trade and few farms to feed itself, and a land that has stayed much away from the ravages of war. It is little wonder why the people were so scared when you arrived with your troops. As you gather more information from Ling Chi, you find that she is quick in response and rather aloof.Once you have finished, the lady looks down in solemn silence before she asks you to be dismissed. >let her to leave and go on with your duties>ask her what her troubles her
>>691568>>ask her what her troubles herDanger senses tingling...
>>691568>ask her what her troubles her
>>691568>ask her what her troubles herYour dad dying is natural.
>>691568>>ask her what her troubles her
>>691568>ask her what her troubles herDo we have any type of expensive medicine in our other lands we could import here for him to improve his health? If we save the guy the townspeople will probably see us in a better light
“Lady Ling Chi, you look troubled and I can tell you are rather uneasy. What is it that troubles you, and have I offended you in any way?” you aks.Ling Chi looks up at you, her face neutral and unchanging. She sighs a bit and looks down again, seeming to ponder if she should go on. After a few seconds she looks up back at you.“I mean no offense Lord Zheng, but when a tiger enters the domains of the hare, how can it not be concernced? Pei is a peaceful commandery and I have lived here with my father for all my life. We wish no qualms or troubles from the rest of the world. Yet, you have marched your armies to this land, littered the fields with dead bodies, and now you have conquered our peaceful home. Despite your courtesies it was quite clear that my father could not refuse your takeover of Pei.”She looks down again.“We are weak, and you are strong, so it is only inevitable we must submit and we must accept. Yet I cannot help but feel some strings of discontent.”How do you reply?>state you were only protecting Pei from the tyrant Yuan Shu>say you must takeover Pei for the future justice and peace>make no excuse; your ambition brought you here and agree she must accept
>>691649>make no excuse; your ambition brought you here
>>691649>make no excuse; your ambition brought you here and agree she must accept
>>691649>Yuan Shu brazenly attacked people under my protection, I won't allow them to go unavenged>make no excuse; your ambition brought you here and agree she must accept
>>691649Base of it is pretty honest. Yuan Shu attacked our people and we retaliated against him. We gave those harmed the means to recover, then drove off Yuan Shu's army. Yes, we are ambitious. There is no denying that and to do so would be disingenuous. Still, we will do what we can to help the people so we can all grow strong.
>>691649>>make no excuse; your ambition brought you here and agree she must accept>say you must takeover Pei for the future justice and peaceBut really, war was coming eventually. Better to be taken by someone capable of preventing further war on their lands than someone who's just going to lose it in a week.Yuan Shu was going to bring war to them either way. At least this way they're safer, and better than if they were under Yuan Shu.
>>691649>>say you must takeover Pei for the future justice and peace>>make no excuse; your ambition brought you here and agree she must accept"You think of today's peace and tomorrow's peace. But what of the peace of your children's children? What of the peace of other villages throughout the land? What of the lands beyond where famine, disease, and corrupt rulers make the common people's life a misery?"I suck at sophistry, someone make a logical argument here for me. I have the ideas, just can't phrase it well enough.
>>691649>>make no excuse; your ambition brought you here and agree she must acceptIf it would help. You can travel around my lands and see how well the people have been treated. We helped grow Chen to be a wonderful place. When the people were raided I offered gold to help rebuild. I've started schools and soon more.
Clasping your hands behind your back and pacing around a bit, you look at the woman and speak your mind freely without any hesitation.“I will make no excuse,” you tell her as she looks back at you. “My ambitions are high and in order to fulfill them I have placed Pei under my rule. It is my desire to expand my power and Pei shall serve as one of my bases. As you say, it is reality and it is a fact you must accept.”“So you would bring our lands to your wars, solely for your ambition?” Ling Chi replies with narrowed eyes.“Yes,” you reply. “The land is in turmoil and chaos. If it had not been for me, another warlord would have taken over and there would be nothing different. The Han is dying and warlords rise everywhere. As we speak there are battles being fought and men killed. Bandits roam the land and no one knows who is the true power. In these times it is only inevitable for war to come and it is foolhardy to think you could live here in peace for all time,” you say.Ling Chi falls in silence.“One cannot tuck their head away form reality. The time of heroes is now, and those with talent must fight. I aim to reunite the land, make my name known throughout history, and bring the dreams of my followers in to fruition.”“Your words strike a painful blow at my heart,” Ling Chi replies. “...But in a way they are refreshing. You are correct, and I am strangely grateful you would speak truly rather than make excuses.” She makes a small sigh. “Pei is yours Lord Zheng, I would ask that you allow my father and I to retire and let ourselves live peacefully.”>accept, and let the two live in comfort>tell Ling Chi to work for you
>>691774>accept, and let the two live in comfort
>>691774>accept, and let the two live in comfortUnless, that is, you would prefer to have a job
>>691774>>tell Ling Chi to work for youShe knows the people, has their best interests in heart, and seems to know the every day works of this place. She could do well and make sure we are kept honest. Her family would be cared for either way though.Besides, she seems like a pretty good marriage canidate. Honest and down to earth even if she wished for peace and no fighting.
>>691774>>tell Ling Chi to work for youHand the Commandery seal to her. Then tell her something along the lines of "I'm giving you the job since you have your heart in the right place which is here in Pei instead of the lands beyond the village".
>>691774>>tell Ling Chi to work for youYou know the people well and can help them ready for the road ahead.
>>691813Yeah, this is good I'll vote for this.
>>691813im liking thisSo long as it isint in some way rude to take it from her father and give it to her
>>691774>>accept, and let the two live in comfortHowever, ask if she/her father would be alright advising the one we place in charge, since they know the land, and it'd make any transitioning easier by virtue of having their former leaders endorsing the new.>tell Ling Chi to work for you
>>691813Derp Derp. I now have dialogue."No, Pei is yours. I am merely its overlord. You are its guardian." *hand over seal* "Pei needs someone who can care for its people with utmost devotion in accordance to the will of the ancestors. You have your heart in the right place."
>>691898>*teleports behind u*>*hands over seal*>psssh......
Taking the seal from your hands, you move over to Ling Chi and place the seal upon her hands. She looks up in slight surprise, mouth slightly open."Wha... What is this?" she asks."Though I have taken your lands and will one day call upon its labors to help me unite the land, it is not my desire to overthrow and upturn what you have built here. As your father is ill, I will hereby hand this seal to you and allow you to oversee the lands of Pei as you see fit. My troops will stay here of course, to defend the land and to fight against men like Yuan Shu. But they will follow your word, they will not harass the people, or they shall meet the penalty of the law. You have shown me that you care for the people of Pei and the land, I see no other more capable than to leave it your hands."Your gesture leaves Ling Chi speechless. It takes a full minute before she composes herself, and then bows to you."...Very well. In my father's place I shall govern Pei." The girl finally smiles. "Thank you, Lord Zheng Li."
>>691996You begin your recuperation at the village and tend to your wounds for the rest of the month. You mostly lie in bed, and you allow your new vassal Ling Chi and Lu Fan to oversee manners of administration. With Ling Chi as the new governor and your people staying away from any looting or pillaging, the commandery of Pei peacefully falls under your control. Ling Chi herself also helps tend to your wounds and brings you food when she can, and it seems you've managed to earn her trust. You hear a small ruckus one morning. You find Yang Jing being pushed inside the room by Lu Fan.“You damn brat, stop it!” you hear Yang Jing grumble. You ask what the commotion is about, and Yang Jing speaks out.“Can you believe it Zheng Li!? I was just visiting the local brothel and Lu Fan comes dragging me out. This kid made such a commotion at the place I was damn embarrassed. All the women were giggling and making fun of me that Lu Fan is my father.”“Lord Zheng Li,” Lu Fan says. “Yang Jing's conduct is most unbecoming. He spends his free time drinking wine and whoring with the women. Surely this is not the kind of behavior we expect from our generals? He should be training and reading in his free time to be a better use for our lord.”“In. my. Free. Time!” Yang Jing says. “Come on Zheng Li, how can a man not have some fun? What's a man without a woman in his bed and his belly full of wine? You can't expect me to be doing my duties all the time.”“When you show a lack of discipline to others you also show that the rest of are lacking as well,” Lu Fan says. What do you say?>side with Lu Fan, Yang Jing needs to behave and conduct himself>side with Yang Jing, tell Lu Fan to keep it easy and let Yang Jing have his fun
>>692005Third option:"Yang Jing, isn't it high time you settle down and get married? I'm sure, what with your strength and youthful vigour, that there's bound to be one or three beautiful women who would admire your battle scars at night and fetch wine for you during the day."
>>692005>side with Yang Jing, tell Lu Fan to keep it easy and let Yang Jing have his funHOWEVER>Suggest to Yang Jing that since he is one of his right hand men, that he should consider possibly getting a wife and starting a family some time soon and settling down a little>Maybe Lu Fan can help find you a good woman if you're having trouble?>>692023Read my mind mate
>>692005>>692023Sure let's go for this.
>>692005>side with Yang Jing, tell Lu Fan to keep it easy and let Yang Jing have his fun"I expect my men to do their duty when duty calls.""When a whore's calling for them, they do the whore."
>>692005Well, why not simply set aside some days to drink and enjoy? Lu Fan is right that you need to keep up with your training. Time will wear away even the sturdiest walls. However, you are also correct. All work and no play dulls the mind and body. Why not go for a mix? For every 3 days you train, 2 days can be for drinking and merryment with perhaps a few bouts with your fellow officers to keep them on their toes too. If you feel you are lagging behind, then you could perhaps improve on that. I want you at your best. Both body and mind.
>>692005>side with Lu Fan, Yang Jing needs to behave and conduct himselfLu Fan does have a point, I'm still not certain you can even read my friend.
>>692005>>side with Yang Jing, tell Lu Fan to keep it easy and let Yang Jing have his funSeriously, we've banned looting, pillaging, and raping. Our men NEED AN OUTLET.So long as they follow the rules and laws, let them do what they want. However Lu Fan does have a point insofar as setting an example for the troops.
seems everyone has the right idea, I got nothing to add here.
“Lu Fan, while your concern is appreciated, not everyone can be righteous and conduct themselves admirably as you do,” you say getting up from your bed. “Let Yang Jing have his fun. As long he fufills his duties properly, he may do whatever he wishes in his free time as long it does not break any law.”At your words Lu Fan sighs and Yang Jing starts laughing, slapping Lu Fan in the back and making fun of him.“See? Zheng Li always has my back. We fought together since we first established the Dawn Tigers. Our bond is brotherly and he understands the needs of men.”“However,” you say. “Yang Jing is it not time you found yourself a wife and settled down? Some discipline and a family to take care of might help you with some of these vices.”“Settle down!? Bah, spit on that!” Yang Jing says with a dismissal wave. “Besides, you haven't settled down yourself damn it. You squirting down a little kid is more important than me doing it. You can't expect me to do it when you haven't either.”“He does make a point my lord,” Lu Fan says. “As you made a match for me, perhaps you should find a wife yourself. You have no heir or sons just yet.”How do you reply?>perhaps you'll start taking some suitors soon...>that can come later. You haven't found a suitable woman yet
>>692183>>perhaps you'll start taking some suitors soon...
>>692183>>that can come later. You haven't found a suitable woman yetAim high! Yuan SHu's wife, SSX/Lianshi, top tier girls!
>>692183>>perhaps you'll start taking some suitors soon... HEY SUN JIAN IS YOUR DAUGHTER HOME?!
>>692183>>perhaps you'll start taking some suitors soon..."Feh! If you're both so insistent, then write up a list of women for both Yang Jin and me. If the shoe fits..."
>>692183>>perhaps you'll start taking some suitors soon...We do have some good choices now and we do need to talk with Sun Jian.
>>692183>perhaps you'll start taking some suitors soon...
>>692183>>perhaps you'll start taking some suitors soon...O Sun my brother form another mother. About that lady you where talking about.
>>692183>You have just the woman in mind.. Sun Jian's Daughter!!but seriously>perhaps you'll start taking some suitors soon...
While you have initially thought to find a woman to love and marry with romantic dreams, you find that perhaps you need to start looking at the bigger picture. As the years pass by you definitely need a heir and even as you have been matchmaking for your officers, you yourself have not followed on your own provocations. "Perhaps you are right," you reply. "I will start looking for some prospects once we return to Runan. Then as I have conceded the point, I take it that you too will now concede yours Yang Jing?" you ask."Bah..." Yang Jing grumbles scratching his head. "Fine, fine, whatever," he says. "If you find a wife then I will too. If you want to match me up so you can establish loyalty or whatever the hell you nobles like to do, then be my guest. But the girl better be pretty damn it. And with great big tits," he says swiggling his fingers. "You hook me up with some sow and I'm leaving this joint," Yang Jing says shaking his fist."Must you always be so vulgar?" Lu Fan says with a sigh."Shut the hell up! Zheng Li found you a good looking girl, so he better do the same for me."You laugh at your vassals; their company at least is good entertainment.------------------------------------End of this session, thanks for playing. Will bring up next session's date on twitter.(Pol +1, Cha +1)Questions and stuff, ask away.
>>692449How is Yuan Shu feeling at this very moment?
>>692449Thanks for running.
>>692449Thanks for running man, have a good night
Fucking Yang Jing man. Always a hoot interacting with him.
>>692467Right you areAnyone happen to know who in the Three Kingdoms has the biggest tiddies so we can make her marry Yang Jing?
>>692449Are we getting up there in terms of local power?Or for that matter, where are we ranking in terms of power? Between Yuan Shu and Cao Cao?
>>692449What's the information on Pei? Do we know how comparatively wealthy or populated it is?
>>692458Angry, upset, probably wants to get revenge if he can.>>692517If you take some time to recover and build up troops you can match Cao Cao. But as of you you are still below on manpower.>>692531It is a small and unremarkable commandery. Most places will be like this.
>>692569Have we heard anything about Sun Jian, Cao Cao, or Yuan Shao's reaction to us taking over Pei?Has our reputation changed since taking over Pei?
>>692569Oh good.I suggest we spend 6 months to a year to rebuild, resupply, and retrain the forces, then we go and finish off Yuan Shu.
>>692574Will be addressed next time.
>>692569>if we recover we can get cao cao levels of menNow the real question is how we can get the edge of tactics and training up on him.Mmmm. We need higher int for my write-ins to work apparently. Also how's Chen doing? Still growing fine?
>>692578It will likely take a lot longer than that. We should focus on building up our economy and farms so we have the supplies to handle a large army and finish up the schools to help train up soldiers and officers.
>>692622Go go domestic policies!
>>692588On a scale of 1 to 10, how wet is Ling Chi for Zheng Li's dick after that whole diplomacy/benevolence exchange?
>>692588How can we steal Yuan Shu's wife? Do we need to kill him? Can we make Ling Chi another concubine?
>>692657i say 2/10 because she only cares the town and her grandfather much less than zheng li as he only see him as a warlord with high ambitionbut if she is alone i would say 8/10 will serve my body and soul tier
>>692588Is Ling Chi an actual officer in our employ?
>>691356>my ass you did!kek good one arpeggio wang yi truly a best gurl while hao xian is best bro
>>692728Do you want a concubine or a capable administrator? She can't do both since she would have to be in two places simultaneously.
>>693217Concubine obviously, can't have enough of them, we have plenty of officers to take care of a small commandery
>>693231"You're a capable person with your heart in the right place, I have faith that you will care and protect your land and people... Wait no, you'll just be my fucktoy."
>>693243>Implying she isn't wet for our dick
>>693231I think we should only take wives and concubines away from officers and other lords as trophies. Ling Chi can be our capable administrator.
>>693333>Not taking them ALL
>>693366We're not Imperial Father Dong, I don't think we have the charisma, wisdom, intelligence and know the innerworkings of the female mind like he does.
>>693382Flying General Lu Bu begs to differ
>>693333So we're gonna pull a Cao Cao on everyone we conquer?
>>693473In all fairness he DID win. So, I mean, he was doing something right.
>>693478Less him, more Sima Yi because Cao Cao's grand kid was an idiot. Then again, that was the case for many of the Three Kingdom's leaders. Liu Bei's kid was a outright tard, Sun Quan's kid was a sadistic bastard, and Cao Pi's kid was just bland. This is why you make sure you raise your kids right.
>>693530Cao Cao's grandson Cao Rui was one of the best rulers Wei had in peace time, a competent administrator, and he left the military stuff to his military people, those who were skilled at it. Are you talking about Cao Fang, his adopted son?
>>693478Wu won in the sense that it was the last of the three kingdoms to exist. It eventually got absorbed into Jin as well though, if I remember right.
>>693217>She can't do bothSays who? We can plow her while she does administration paperwork or some shit,
>>693869Yeah, but lets be honest here. Jin is just mid-life crisis Wei. Except instead of strippers and sports cars, they fuck up liu bei 2.0 "head-spiked boogaloo" and fuck up Zhuge "my relative drained all my hype so I'm a shitter" Dan.
>>693874We'd have to be in the Pei commandery for that
Just archived this thread on suptg.http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive/682995/
>>693217Who says concubines can't work?
>>695431Cao Rui employed his concubines and it worked out.
>>695556Yup, he wasn't assassinated. Gotta collect them all
