In this world, not all men are created equal. Even a young child can see this universal truth as plain as day. Be it race, social status, or any other form of characteristics or identity, not one person is truly the same. Some are born gifted while others are lucky to be born at all. This is especially true for those who are born with the magical fruit called talent. It takes many forms, but the most common in this world is that of Quirks. A special power tied to the individual that can often influence the person and vice versa. Like anything in life, there are those who draw the short end of the stick and have their lives changed as a result.

You, unfortunately, was a victim of such a change. Screams echoing through the backyard of a nice suburban home. Tremors, cracks, countless amounts of wanton destruction, all this and more as your world came crumbling down like the debris around you. Visions blurred out alongside the noise being muffled out as if all of it was blending together. Creating a murky, colorless fog that threatens to take everything away from you. Clear visions turning into silhouettes that fade into the background. Memories of the past now locked away for some unknown rhyme or reason.

The last thing you see is a crying boy, arms stretch out in the sea of the chaos of a shattering yard. You came to apologize right?! Hey! Don’t leave me! You’ll have to protect me, you’re the older sibling! Help me! Words that continue to raddle in your absence, dull mind in an attempt to try and desperately remember what happened. But the only thing that would stick was one last exchange of words before the image vanishes altogether. [i[I’m sorry…

What happened next was honestly something you couldn’t recall. Everything was pitch black, frigid cold and motionless to the point of being rigid and brittle. It was hard observing anything around you with such dimmed senses. Fear would be settling in if it wasn’t for the strong feeling of emptiness taking you by your still-beating heart. Giving a cold, icy grip that tightly contracts around the surface, zapping whatever strength you have left. As for your mind, it was blank as not a single thought crosses your consciousness.

Leaving you feeling lifeless as much as you were rendered helpless after that traumatic experience. But even in such a state, by some luck, you were able to hear a conversation currently taking place. Judging from the voices it seems like it was between two men. The first voice was that of an old if not eccentric man who could pass off being your grandfather despite the flare. The other man was notoriously younger but still a suave, debonair gentleman. To which could pass your father due to the obvious age gap. Nevertheless, their conversation sank deep into your mind as you began repeating their words.

“Oho? What’s this? Doctor, I thought you said when you first found her she was nothing but a living corpse?”

“Yes, that’s right. I think it was miraculous alone that I was able to find a whole body after the young master’s….awakening.”

“Yet here she lies still breathing with a strong pulse, abet faint. I suppose living corpse is rather unfair to label this miracle child as.”

“I can only chalk it up to her quirk singularity factor. A rather strong one, capable of triggering a boosting effect towards her Quirk Factor to the point of partial awakening when pushed to the brink of life and death. Allowing her to keep herself together in that chaotic turn of events when she should’ve dissipated like the others. At first, I consider her quirk to be a mere regeneration type, if not a superior version, but upon closer studies...it’s far more adaptive and symbiotic in its restorative power. Goes completely against the foundation of mere regeneration. I’m practically stumped on what kind of quirk this specimen really has.”

“Intriguing doctor. So you think she’s the one you’re looking for?”

“Certainly a possibility, but I’ll have to run some additional test to see if she’s the missing link to my theory.”

“In that case. Why not have her be test subject of my quirk factor? If she’s truly what we’ve been looking for then surely she should be able to handle such power without collapsing and falling victim to cellular destruction, unlike the others.”

“Well if you insist. If she was to survive the experience, it’ll only benefit our ambitions even further. I’ve already collected enough of her quirk factor to stockpile and tamper with in case things go south. But I won’t lie and say that it wouldn’t make me happy if she fully adjusts to any quirk, especially your quirk without any major side-effects at least. “

“But I have to ask one more thing before we begin the process. What about the young master? Should we tell him that she survived?”

“That won’t be necessary. It’ll be far better for him to live in his current amnesic state. Otherwise, he may snap at not finishing the job and do something that is most unbecoming. Oh, that reminds me….cut off her hands when you get the chance. He’ll be needing a convincing proof that like the rest, she’s gone.”

“Yeah, I can do that no problem. Her vitality is abnormal as even in this half-dead state her body is still fully optimized for a child of her age. Surely cutting off her hands will only speed up her natural healing factor to replace what she lost. Otherwise, I’ll remedy it with one of my special serums to give an extra boost.“

“Then I’ll trust you with the rest doctor. I’ll handle my protege personally. I look forward to seeing just how this test will help those adorable Nomus.”

“Trust me, if she’s truly the one, then my precious creations will embark on the next stage towards truly being the perfect embodiment of your desires.”

The sharp pain was the only thing that you felt for the first time since you were in this state of limbo between life and death. Honestly, the seething pain was enough to jolt yourself back into consciousness. Darting your eyes wildly you would see yourself in an open room, surrounded with medical tools meant to keep statistics of your general wellbeing. Turning your head to the side was an IV tube lodge in your flesh. As you stare in a daze, you were met with the warm glow of the morning sun.

Staring at the sun for a bit you try to open your eyes before blinking afterward. Then you proceed to move your arms and legs. Each body part responding to your impulses just as well as you come to expect. The cold, empty feeling you felt previously has long since disappeared. In its place was the overabundant feeling of vigor coursing through your veins. Leaving you feeling rather anxious despite feeling hyperactive. Turning back tot he IV cord, you feel a cord suddenly striking as mood swings start to take in.

Rapid breathing due to your impending hyperventilation followed by the sound of your racing beating heart was all that you can hear upon your mind slowly returning from its empty state. Memories were still hazy as for some reason you couldn’t remember a thing from your past. Yet your body was trembling ferociously over what it has undergone. You weren’t sure how but you know that something was wrong. And seeing the IV tube gave you a brief glimpse of being inside of a tank, surrounded by humanoid bodies.

Flaking out before you could reminisce over anything further you angrily grip your hand against the IV chord. With one quick tug, you yank the cords out and toss them to the side, letting them leak whatever nourishment that was previously pumping into your body. Letting out some much needed deep breaths, you flung the covers from your body to reveal yourself in a hospital pajamas. Examining your body showed you that there wasn’t anything wrong physically. And yet you still feel uneasy as the unshakeable feeling of danger continues to loom in the gloom. Pressing your fingers against your neck, you feel something off about it. A tattoo bar code was the cause.

Feeling its texture told you that the number was one zero, followed by the number eight and seven. Reaching the point of hysteria you hope down from the bed, marching over to the door. Opening it slowly to see a crack, you dart your eyes in search of anyone. Luckily there wasn’t anyone around as the hospital was still in its early morning shift. Taking this chance you gently open the door, taking a few steps back and then a deep breath. Once centered you start to sprint out of the hall and taking a left turn. Running like a frightened child soon made you the center of attention as one of the staff catches you leaving in the middle of carrying some stuff to the third floor.

By all accounts, running like a hyperactive panicking child was the last thing one would think when it comes to being inconspicuous. To that, you balance it out by being a frightened eleven-year-old girl. Regardless of your smarts, this was far beyond any normal or even gifted individual is capable of enduring with no signs of wavering. It’s too much for anyone to bear as you continue darting through the halls, picking up more speed with each step you took. Despite running as fast as you currently can, not once did you feel tired. If anything the abundant amount of energy was replenishing itself further than you could expel it.

Something is clearly not normal with you and you weren’t going to stick around in unknown territory. As you continue running you would see several of the medical staff trying to stop your rambunctious running. Seeing them immediately made you turn in the other direction. In your haste, however, led you to move close to another set of people who were position to try and catch you. Sliding your body downwards allowed you to ride on your momentum to move underneath them in one smooth slide. Picking yourself up in mid-movement you continue running down the next hall.

As your chase gave way to alerting more people to your predicament, your options of escape started to get limited. Repetitively your exits would be met with an obstacle, forcing you to maneuver to another hall. One by one your pathways start to close as you resort to using your momentum to momentarily wall climb over the adults’ barricade. A futile effort as your constant defiance eventually found yourself running straight into a dead end. Practically backed into a corner, you grit your teeth and tense your brow, choosing to run through it.

Almost on command, reddish streaks of electricity shoots out from your body as it starts to illuminate. Eyes now glowing crimson you put more force into your step. As a result, the ground starts to feel like quicksand as it was getting much harder building up any traction. But your current momentum made that moot as you brace yourself for the wall. Instead of crashing through, your body suddenly merged with the wall. Passing through in singular motion, leaving a wavy ripple behind as the wall returns to normal. Soon you find yourself stepping out of the other side of the wall, sticking to the floors as ripples follow your every step.

“Wh-Whaaaaah! What the heck is this?!” You scream, looking frantically at your hands as you see traces of the wall disappearing from your fingertips as it returns to its original spot. In your distraction, you see yourself about to smack into the window. Stretching your arms out to catch your while slowing your descent, you soon recreate the same strange phenomenon. For reasons you couldn’t understand your body just integrates into the window, passing through it from the other side as you now find yourself walking on air.
>>
>>4204346

Before gravity took its course you made a u-turn and jumped to cling to the pipe near the window. Hugging it tightly just in the nick of time kept you from falling like a looney toon as you frantically pant in disbelief and fright “For real?! I’m running through these walls like they’re not even there.” You cried, nearly on the verge of tears.

Looking down to see yourself on the second floor instinctively you made a loud gulp sound. Turning your hands back to the pipe, you find themselves wedge shut as if someone held superglue onto your hands. Carefully you slide yourself down to the ground, fidging a bit on the way until you successfully pulled your hands free. Just in time to land painfully on your rump as you held back the urge to let out a loud cry. At least you were outside the hospital.

Now freed from the pipe you just sprinted out of there with no disregard for anything other than survival. There was a bunch of questions running through your frantic, fragile mind. One of the biggest concerns being the quirk that you displayed. Not having any memories made confirming whether or not you had this unification/integration power prior to this incident a truly daunting challenge. It was a miracle alone that you could break it down to merging yourself with whatever you made contact and expunging yourself from the opposite in during reconstruction to your original form. Or so you thought, it was hard to really figure out aside from the red streaks.

But before addressing any of your buttload of questions, you advert your attention towards escaping to somewhere far. Far enough that whoever put you in that hospital could never find you. Irrational sure but you didn’t have the time to think of a better answer as you ran into the forest. While not as abundant as before, the fountain of vitality continues coursing through your body. Every fiber continues to be supercharged as you travel deep into the forest in record speed. To the outside view, you uncontrollably generated red streaks of lightning with a blackish tint Hopping, sprinting, it didn’t matter what manner of parkour you did, it all came naturally to you.

It was almost freaky at how fluid your maneuverability was. Flowmotion in practice was the best way to describe your graceful movements. Traveling far into the forest, you finally stopped at what looks to be a massive tree. Hiding underneath the roots you successfully kept yourself undetected in addition to being unfollowed. Leaning against the hard, wooden surface you start making labored, heavy breaths. The red streak finally disappearing as you feel incredibly drained. Running straight for days without rest certainly separated you from anyone trying to tail you. At the same time, you were left with quite a dilemma.

Who are you? What happened to cause you to be in the hospital? Where is the place you called home? When did all of this happen? How are you able to do any of this? And most important of all...Why you? Clinching your legs tightly you start huddling into a ball. Tears soon began to form at the growing distress. Why was all of this happening to you? Why is that even remembering your name is too hard for you? Riddle with these questions left you feeling tremendous anxiety and uncertainty as you cry yourself to sleep.

Even so, the sun still rose as it lights your morning once again. Seeing that sight somehow put your heart at ease as you finally went to sleep.

In the next four years, your life was a roller coaster of adrenaline and thrill-seeking hijinks. Being surrounded in the wilderness gave you all the time in the world to yourself. Fearing for an invisible enemy that for all you know wasn’t even real certainly kept you in a tense and agitated state. Whoever took you from your home and did this to you was still out there. Lurking in the shadows, waiting for that precise moment where you let your guard down. While it’s likely that recapture would be its main objective, it wouldn’t put it past you that elimination was an option. You already escaped once, who’s to say you wouldn’t do it again if given the chance?

Therefore you stook to your guns and focused only laying low as you survive by any means necessary. Not knowing who you are was indeed a serious cause of your uncertainty and constant state of anxiety. But you wouldn’t be able to get a chance to learn if you ever let yourself get captured or worse. The only clue you have was the number embedded on the back of your neck. It was the closest thing to a name, but calling yourself eighty-seven wasn’t exactly glamorous. For now, you had much bigger things to worry about. Keeping yourself away from people was your best-laid plan as you struggled to live off the land.

If it wasn’t for your quirk activating when you need it most, the dangers of the forest would’ve long since claimed you. Gathering supplies during the day and staying late in the night in your barricade was how you spent your days in the wilderness. However as time went on, your constant fear and paranoia soon turned to rage and fury. The constant frustration of having to live like a coward, doing whatever you can to ensure yourself the sight of seeing the sun again was unbearable. You pushed yourself to turn that around. Instead of being the lost stray cat, you were going to turn yourself into the ferocious lion.

So trained you did. In between gathering supplies, always moving to different hideouts to avoid detection, you spent your time thoroughly training your body. From your quirk to your physical and mental prowess, you didn’t leave any stone unturned. At first, it was painful for you, even with your abundant stamina and vigor you were still an average eleven-year-old girl. But with the looming threat and your own growing temper, it only pushed you further when most would’ve given up. At your current pace, you started off small, going just far enough to surpass what you did yesterday. It wasn’t much at the start but gradually it stockpiled over time.
>>
>>4205537

By the end of the year, you found yourself punching small boulders and chopping logs. Barehanded no less. In the midst of your painful training, your quirk did a remarkable job holding your body together as you push yourself to your limits. Injuries quickly faded as they appeared with the worst lasting for a few days. Teaching you the value of rest days to better accumulate to the gains your training provides. In fact, your regenerative properties were an offshoot of your actual quirk. A safety measure to keep your cellular makeup in perfect order and keep to your encoded DNA blueprint. What your actual quirk was left you speechless.

For some reason or another, you’re able to merge and fuse your body with virtually any matter, both living and inanimate, organic and inorganic, and can even accelerate the speed in which the merging process takes place. As well as being able to keep your integration, down to the atomic level. Thus allowing you to move and control the altered body parts as if they were your natural parts. This manner of assimilation gave a wide assortment of different applications, including overlaying your tissues as instead of cellular division to trigger cellular repair, it instead wedges itself together, restoring itself while simultaneously strengthening its longevity as if it was a brand new cell. Perpetuating a new cycle of nigh-eternal rebirth and rejuvenation.

Outside of abnormal regeneration, the other aftereffect was a much sturdy, durable body. Resilience combined with vitality to your extent made for quite the effective juggernaut as you came to realize through your years of training. But the strangest effect was the ripple effect whenever you applied your quirk to other surfaces. Creating some form of buoyancy that influence both you and the surface tension. In your early youth, you brute force your way through a combination of fusion and fission, hence you popping out so roughly in quick fashion. But through careful finesse, you merely sink and rise into objects without breaking the surface tension, treating them like liquid surfaces. Effectively creating a quicksand/whirlpool effect.

By the midway point of the third year, you started interacting with the metropolis after being stuck in the wilderness for so long. But not in the way that one would hope as you spend your time entering the public stealing supplies. Continuing to keep a low profile you stick to petty crime by stealing food, drink, clothing, basically things that most wouldn’t notice missing. With your powers of integration and unification, it was child’s play to essentially play robin hood without anyone being any of the wiser. Storing things inside of your living hammerspace and leaving inconspicuously was your standard tactic. But when chase did happen you usually got away by sinking into the ground or gliding in the air at exceptional speeds.
>>
>>4205541

To go six months straight without combat was quite the achievement. But all good things must come to an end as, during a burglary of a nightclub, you found yourself tackling some burly bodybuilders. While trying to keep to your longtime plan of hiding from attention, ultimately you were forced into a confrontation and had to fight. Quickly overpowering them to your surprise, you easily brought them down with a single blow. Training to the utmost degree with the wilderness ended up pushing your body to a notorious powerhouse.

Even without your quirk, you were a formidable opponent as you brought your assailants down in ferocious fashion. Like the mighty lion, you made the concrete jungle your playground as you continue training and surviving. Avoiding attraction from the pro heroes was a manner of luck and skill, you didn’t hold back when it came to fighting local heroes. Part of it was out of happenstance, but soon it became a challenge for you. What’s the point of training if you didn’t have anything to practice on? Fighting giant creatures like bears can only provide so much for your skils. Before long you started earning the nickname Hyakujūnoō, the king of beasts.

Due to your quirk and primal combat prowess, it was notoriously hard for one to get a concrete image of your appearance. To you, you only ended up welcoming the alias as it was the only sign of an identity you have. Appearing to the public as a strong, tough as nails amazon certainly did well for your self-confidence. Also, it was a really good stress reliever as the thrill-seeking antics brought forth freedom in the truest sense of the word. No longer was you the weak, scared little girl who didn’t know who she was. In its place was a fighter, a true apex predator that did what she wants without repercussion. And for the first time, you felt really good about yourself.

Now fifteen years old you currently stand on top of a large watchtower at a full moon. Looking at the police cars toiling away to the streets trying to bust criminals and finally catch the proud lioness that’s been plaguing their streets for quite some time. You made it a habit to travel to town to town to avoid detection in the nearly two years of your game of cat and mouse. And while you haven’t gotten any closer discovering your past, you did define your present with your new self.

>Quirk: Plug & Play

>A Transformation &Accumulation-type Quirk that allows Hana the ability to merge and integrate into any matter, organic or inorganic at the atomic level. Originally only able to cause fusion and fissure with herself when coming into direct contact with herself, she recently learned how to influence other matters with her quirk. Allowing her to combine and/or separate two or more targets. Each amalgamation after the second gets weaker with each usage. Her hard limit is currently four. Can currently combine up to four different targets.

>Using her quirk in rapid sessions burn additional vitality and require Hana to initiate a cool down period to recover lost stamina. While it is possible for her to forcibly reactivate her quirk, she suffers additional damages during usage and recovers slower as a result. Currently, she can hold a single physical amalgamation transformation nigh-indefinitely.

>In order to handle the physical strain of her quirk and the abundant vitality that serves as the quirk's fuel source, her body has been reinforced and strengthened immensely. Giving her peak human capabilities that are borderline superhuman. Her healing factor especially.

A work in process as this isn't final, so suggestions including additional strengths and weaknesses are appreciated.

“Look at them scurrying around. Like a bunch of ants hurrying at the first sight of food. “ You mutter, crotch down on the transmission tower. Even before your incident you somehow display cat-like traits with your upturned, sharp eyes as they strongly resemble that of a cat. Slanting inwards with a strong dark red radiance. Letting out a nyah in between your yawn, you tilt your eyes to the full moon. “Well if they’re going through the trouble of trying to find me. I might as well do something worth chasing~”

Cracking your joints and getting your body nice and limber you brace yourself for takeoff. Doing some stretches always seem to get your body out of its dormancy and back into top gear. In this profession as a cat burglar/thrill-seeking phantom thief, you couldn’t afford any slip-ups. Less you want to be stopped by every walking henchmen and officer and having to put them down a single blow. To you, its no fun tangling with weaklings and only makes you fall asleep from the boring yet still pitiful struggle. The feeling of lethargy was the bane to your otherwise hyperactivity caused by notoriously high metabolism and supercharged vitality.

Finally getting into the swing of things you stretch your arms out, taking a cross poss before dropping from the tower. With a wide, giddy laugh you let your quirk activate. Merging with the air particles and gases increased your buoyancy to the point that you suddenly achieved suspended movement. Much like the balloons, you weren’t bound by the gravitational forces as you ascend into the sky, achieving full mobility and flowmotion. Achieving a form of limited flight, you soar through the sky at a smooth, quick pace. What originally was mere air walking gradually developed into dashing before finally reaching full-on jet propulsion. Be it the sky, ground or sea, nothing could keep you restrained. And you like keeping it that way.

Arriving at your intended target took no time at all as you dive down into the ground. A mix of exceptional hacking skills and acrobatics, you easily broke into the mansion of a wealthy businessman and CEO of a multi-million dollar company. Although using direct approaches and brute force wasn’t outside of your growing array of expertise, you didn’t devolve from your roots. Just as ferocious as a lion, you were stealthy like a black panther. And today was no different as you casually bypass through the defenses before making it to the safe. In your discovery you found yourself staring at a grand hall of stuff.
>>
>>4205833

“Fweeeeeeeeee.” You whistles, strolling around the safe like a kid in a candy factory. With a spring into your step, you start drawing the money bags towards your direction. In the longtime art of stealing from the crooked scumbags, you only took what you could get away into your body. For instance, stealing a swimming pool of gold akin to Scrouge McDuck sounds glamorous but even for you would be far too strenuous of a chore to steal, much less get away without notice. That’s why things like a wad of bills were far more charming to you. With the occasional jewels or other valuables for “insurance”.

After robbing enough dough to satisfy your needs alongside the bloody red diamond as the main treasure, you casually sink into the floor. Traveling through the house’s foundation and through the buildings, you eventually made your stop popping out from another tower shaft. With a Cheshire cat-like grin, you kept your hand wedged to the tower as you dangle far off from the distance. By the time they notice what you did, you would be long gone.

“Such a shame that went a little too easy for me. But Dems the breaks when you’re the top thief.” You smile to yourself, pulling out the bloody diamond from your chest.

Since you're not getting anything better than that, the one who is about to attack you is Gang Orca, the number 7th pro hero at this time.

So make your plans for action while I write the incoming post.
>>
I'm wondering if we even need to fight in the first place.

We could always run away. I don't suppose we trained a lot in actual combat.
>>
>>4206011
Couldn't we just faze through any attack he throws at us? As long as he doesn't stun us we should be fine.
>>
>>4205912

Staring at your prize brought you satisfaction at a job well done. Though, it wasn’t particularly the money or valuables you stole that brought you any real joy. For someone who’s always traveling, material possessions weren’t something you were attached to. Barely the lure of monetary gains outside of what you need to survive held any attention. No, it was the challenge in itself that often has your attention. The thrill of the chase, the rush of confrontation, and the overall tension of the adversity ahead brought you the adrenaline you crave. That necessary proof that you were still alive in this hazy dream. Doing this might not have given you the closure that you desperately seek but it sure was far better stress reliever than the alternatives.

Still, in the euphoric turnout of the afterglow, you keep your senses keen. Being in the wilderness for so long taught you the importance of never dropping your guard. Even while you were feeling disappointed at the lack of a challenge, it wasn’t enough to take your mind from your surroundings. Almost having a sixth sense for danger you quickly pick up the presence of someone coming your way. Putting the jewel back into your chest for safekeeping, it quickly returns to the hammerspace that was another side-effect of your integration quirk. Trusting your senses alerted you of who exactly was coming.

Dropping down from the tower and landing on solid ground, you tense your muscles and brace for impact. Turning to meet your attacker you saw what appears to be a rather tall, well-built man in classy business attire. Most peculiar was his orca appearance as you chalked it up to his quirk being a mutant-type. Despite the clear sign of being a fish out of the water, technically a mammal, in this case, he still extrudes exceptional physical might with his hook punch. A move that you manage to block by preparing your guard ahead of time. If it wasn’t for your senses alerting you, that punch would’ve sent you flying through several rooftops. Feeling the tingling sensation on your arms made you feel rather giddy as you couldn’t stop smiling.

“I’m impressed that you were able whether that blow. That was intended to knock you out in an instant.”The orca man spoke, holding his ground in the large crater formed from the clash.

Keeping your wrist against his fist, you sharping your gaze while smirking. “Yeah, well when you been doing the same thing to all the thugs, brutes and even the local pro heroes, you tend to pick up a few things.” You exchange a few words, pressing your feet deeper against the ground as you feel yourself going into top gear. “So, mind telling me why a person like you would take lil old me out of the blue? That’s something only villains would do, Gang Orca.”
>>
>>4206025

“Don’t play coy Kemononoō/Hyakujūnoō, you can’t weasel your way out of this one. Although it’s surprising to see the real you, a mere high school freshman, I’m not one known to pull back my punches. Especially when dealing with someone who could beat actual pros.” Orca retorts, pulling back from the struggle and getting ready for another attack.

“If you can even call them pros. Barely gave me enough of a workout to warm up before falling down like a pack of cards. And for the record, I never went to school. Maybe that’s why those pro heroes are so pitiful.” You scoff, taking a stance as. Compared to Gang Orca your form-fitting attire of a sleeveless hoodie, tights, ballet slippers, and fingerless gloves didn’t exactly paint you in the same light like a phantom thief. A mixed martial arts fighter or gymnast would be more accurate. Not that you care about looking the part.

You are correct. While there have been close counters, you haven't been caught once. Hence your joyous overconfidence.

>>4206111

“I won’t lie and say you don’t have talent, but those who are the most talented are usually the ones who burn out the fastest. Don’t let your arrogance be the end of you. Stand down.” Gang Orca requests, keeping a rather calm voice despite the tone in his words.

Cracking your neck back and forth, you merely look at him with a taunting closed-eyed pout.“I don’t have a past, nor a future. All I have is the here and now. So forgive me if I feeling particularly invincible tonight.”Afterward, you begin to start hoping back in forth, really getting into the fighting spirit as the grin forms back on your face. “Besides, a big fish like yourself will give me what I’m looking for.”

“Just as the reports state, you really are a battle fanatic in addition to being a thrill-seeker. Reminds me of a rowdy newcomer from U.A. I’ve been mentoring.” Gang Orca sighs, tightening his fist while centering his field of influence. “Truly I’m a magnet for delinquents.”

“Don’t be like that. If the only thing you have is your quirk, then why wouldn’t you put your all into polishing to perfection. The title Kemononoō, this quirk, my well-trained physique, all of it is the proof I need to validate my existence.”

“Do you really believe that?”

Getting rather annoyed at the pro hero trying to uncover what made you tick, you merely clench your fingers and stop your constant hopping abruptly. “Just shut up and punch me.”

With that exchange, the two of you began your bare-knuckle brawl. Taking the first move you use your smaller, nimble size to quickly close the gap between you and Gang Orca. Arms reeling back into striking form. Before he would get the jump on you, you first made your retaliation by delivering two, simultaneous punches to the gut. Feeling the full force of your punches connect to the humanoid orca’s abdomen, you were met with a dreadful realization. In addition to his hard muscles, there was an additional layer of rubbery blubber that served as a dermal armor for Gang Orca. In retrospect, having the attributes and abilities of a Killer Whale should’ve given away this possibility.
>>
>>4206186

As you feel your fist colliding with a tracker tire, you find yourself meeting a similar blow to your stomach. Although you still brace yourself from last time, this punch was notoriously more effective than previously. The punch wasn’t strong enough to send you flying but you still feel the brunt kinetic force of the attack, followed by the concussion force generated from the impact. Thankfully you were well-built yourself despite not having rubbery skin or additional layers of protective blubber underneath your muscles. All you have to rely on is tenancy and vitality influencing your recovery abilities and endurance alongside your resilience.

Not backing down from the first punch you continue to take onto the offensive with a barrage of punches from your high-caliber physical strength. Breaking through his hide was going to be far tougher than you consider. Especially when considering that you have a great deal of physical prowess, so much so that it appears supernatural. Yet with all of your volley of punches, al the hits have done to Gang Orca barely registered with the titan. The very same punches that people compared to a speeding car with remarkable force. If nothing else this was keeping you from getting bored as you continue on the offensive. Not letting Gang Orca get the chance to strike, reducing him to tanking your consecutive blows.

Tsc, this collection of cash is limiting my quirk options. I only got two slots that I can combine with before hitting my safety limit. Although I could fold myself like paper or adjust my hardness to that of the diamond. But it also puts my valuables at risk. So I have to think about this carefully.

>Aim your punches to a singular spot and brute force your way through his defenses
>Try to go for a grappling pin and aim for dislocation
>Aim for a joint or pressure point to try and hamper Gang Orca
>Switch to using your quirk and mold the ground to better your offensive/defense game

You hate being a super that much, bro ? I understand that being a vigilante or a good heart villain may be more interesting, but it isn’t a bad thing if we join the supers. I hope this happens by choice not to bail us out of jail
>>
>>4206250

>>
>>4206273

I think dislocating his shoulder might be the best way to hamper him greatly but it would also paint a bad imagine. Can we do a sleeping hold instead and knock him out ?

>>4206257

I mean that's the way of the game. And i can think much worse punishment than being forced into hero work. But i doubt that's going to happen if they wan true genuine heroes like all might
>>
>>4206273
Dislocate a knee. Both, if possible.
Step one to eliminating the threat of the enemy is reducing their mobility. Someone who cannot turn easily is much easier to attack.
>>
>>4206292
>>4206240

Continuing your barrage of punches you took careful observation over Gang Orca’s build. With his large size and muscular frame, it would certainly be arduous in breaking through his defenses to deliver a decisive blow. Time of which you didn’t exactly have. Sure nobody knows that you were the one who stole from the CEO but seeing a fight between a top pro hero would certainly draw unwanted attention. Battle Fanatic or not you weren’t an idiot. Taking on multiple pro heroes in addition to a top ten pro would be far too much for you to handle. Thus you needed to take control of the battle fast. But how?

If my options are limited then... Adjustinging your legs in between your punches you set your ambush into a sweeping attack. Putting both hands against Gang Orca’s wrist as he tries to deflect your arms, exposing you to a counterblow, you merely grin as you use his momentum against him to kick his ankles. Exerting enough force to smash a steel i-beam, you successfully rotate your body into full sweeping motion. Knocking Gang Orca down to the ground as you theorize that such a strong body would ultimately be weak against attacks aimed at joints. Otherwise, he would be more willing to get into your face and bulldoze through your barrage.

Reducing the pro the ground you snap your legs together, briefly abet slightly dislocating the bone through your quirk fissuring the joint to extend your reach before reattaching it instantly. Through careful maneuverability and position, you utilize your greater flexibility to catch both Gang Orca’s legs into a leglock. Specifically, it was of the Brazilian jiu-jitsu variant as evident by its dangerous brutality. No time to make any quips about the situation you immediately start to exert a tremendous amount of pressure against each of his legs, aiming for the knees. If your well-toned thighs could crush bowling balls easily, then surely dislocating a pro’s knees was doable.
>>
>>4206404

Caught off guard by your sudden ruthlessness despite its ingenuity, Gang Orca quickly raises his head towards you, giving way to your leglock. Causing you to nearly lose your opposition as you continue applying pressure to his knees. You expected a bit of hesitation given the strain that you were putting on each of the legs. Or at least try to brute force his way to breaking out of your heel hook. Of course, it wouldn’t do any good as you held far more strength in your lower body than you did with your upper body, especially with your legs. But to see him risking further damage to his legs to reach you point-blank was alarming, to say the least.

Before you had time to defend, Gang Orca grabs your head by the hands. Just as you were about to dislocate his knees, Gang Orca releases a powerful hypersonic wave from his forehead. Sending a tremendous surge of jolts down your entire body, every part of you was screaming in intense pain. Your consciousness started going in and out, eyes nearly rolling in the back of your head. Every part of your body was being stunned as just as you took away his mobility, Gang Orca was taking away your movement.

>Use your quirk and sink into the very bottom of the street and into the sewers

Even while enduring the intense vibrations resonating in his hypersonic waves, your body still fought back desperately by tensing all of your muscles. Doing so would at least dampen the effects of the sonic shockwave, but the paralyzing aspect was far stronger than you considered. Then again, given your special condition granting you greater elasticity and abnormally dense tissues by dozens of times higher than average, it wasn’t as crippling as it should be despite being so close. That didn’t change the fact it was still successful as you were coming dangerously close to fully blacking out.

Focusing your mind as much you can you start to activate your quirk with your remaining mental power. Naturally, your refined quirk acted on your intent as Gang Orca’s hands were sticking to your temples. Normally you would’ve sunk his entire fingers into your skull for better integration, but that would simply give away your intention. By implementing a more subtle touch you were able to start analyzing Gang’s Orca’s composition and physique. Your search quickly leads you to find out the overall source of his hypersonic waves. To your surprise, it was around his skull, housing a lump of fat in a whales head that allows them to use echolocation.

Echolocation….He’s weaponizing….his orca’s trait of communication and perception through that process. Aargh! Why didn’t I see that coming?! He’s literally a killer whale, that’s one of their key functions. Ugh, what’s next? Blowing high pressurized streams of water at me like a fire hose. You soon started beating yourself up overlooking yet another attribute that should’ve been obvious to you, though in your defense you didn’t go to school so you only have street smarts to bank on. Still in this observation, you soon notice that there was an Achilles heel in his head. Between being able to shoot his long-range attacks and protecting himself from them, his overall defenses are far weaker than the rest of his body.
>>
>>4207652

Now knowing the secret to his hypersonic waves you focused on integrating the membranes in his ears and skull that protect him from his weaponized echolocation and water cannon. A process that you stress pressed into operating at a faster than average pace. Taking only enough to make your own defense against the hypersonic waves and kinetic force, your body rushes to implement what it took and amalgamate it properly. Of course, even with all that, it still didn’t change the fact that enduring those onslaughts to your body left you paralyzed. Silver lining he couldn’t paralyze you again with another one of those hypersonic wave shots.

Judging to himself that he released enough of his hypersonic waves to put someone of your caliber down, Gang Orca finally recedes his sonic attack. “That should be enough to knock you out. I’ll admit that you’re quite the troubling opponent. But this battle is over..”

As Gang Orca prepares to go for the capture, his vision begins to blur suddenly. The entire area was starting to spin and sway in distortion. His sense of equilibrium was falling as the Pro Hero was struggling to fall on his dislocated knees. While this takes places his hands continue to be firmly held together as they start to sink into your face. Realizing that he was undergoing the effects of vertigo, you merely curl your lips into a smile. All the pieces were coming together.

“What’s happening...Why am I….” Gang Orca mutters, feeling himself wobbling as he fights nausea that threatens to discombobulate him. Attempting to pull his hands off your face to try and realign himself, Gang Orca was met with a strong adhesive effect that kept his fingers stuck on your face. No matter how much he tugs and swings his arms he found himself incapable of removing his hands from your face.

If you were capable of talking you would gleefully take credit at this deceptive ploy. Most of your fights end in one blow, be it a punch, a kick or some other means of physical attack. Therefore not many people know the true nature of your quirk. Many people theorize that your quirk must be some sort of transparency, teleportation or illusionary based in order to explain your seeming intangibility. Not that you were one to freely answer. A magician never reveals their tricks. Still, even you have to admit that you were seriously cutting it close by enduring the shockwaves to set up this little ploy.

As a result, you find yourself unable to move a single inch of your body. Blinking alone was a serious chore for you. And given its merely a stun effect it wasn’t something your regenerative healing factor could kick in and repair. There was your abundant lifeforce sure but no amount of physical energy, stamina and vitality were going to let you recover fast enough to make any difference. For now, you were just as stuck as Gang Orca was in this stalemate. And with the looming threat of backup or unwanted outsiders on the way, you needed to make your escape while you can.

Escape….Hearing that word made you flashback to a little girl running down a dark hall. Bandaged around her wrists and thighs, panting deeply in between crying, the terrifying look across her eyes as she was looking back at a looming threat. A large, black humanoid monster with a very muscular body that has many scars on it. The most daunting look was its brain was fully exposed and a beak-like mouth. It wasn’t the only one but the memory was too blurred to see it properly. Despite that, your eyes glared with intense hatred, gritting your teeth to the point of spilling blood. The concept of running away in fear agitated you immensely.

Springing yourself back to life through sheer aggression and spite, you sprung your arms towards Gang Orca’s biceps, gripping tightly in an iron vice grip. Following that you swing your legs back, preparing for your next attack. Seeing this Gang Orca attempts to shoot out another one of his hypersonic waves. To which you merely endure, feeling only the circling sound still lingering in your ears, you were reassured that the ringing paralyzing effect of his attack does not affect you.
>>
>>4207889

Pushing through the remaining effect puts a tremendous amount of stress upon your body. But it wasn’t enough to stop your movement. Thus Gang Orca bare witness to your impending counterattack. Worse yet his attack ultimately impacts him negatively as it was Gang Orca who was now feeling the effects of his paralyzing hypersonic waves. With increasing vertigo and suffering from his own medicine, Gang Orca was effectively helpless upon your impending attack. Rising just high enough to nearly reach a one hundred and eighty-degree rotation, you were ready to finish the fight instead of running like a coward.

Gritting your teeth while forming a smile, you spread your legs to imitate a guillotine, using your stomach to pull yourself to the first. “THUNDERCROSS SPLIT ATTACK!” Thrusting your hips and lower body against Gang Orga you deliver a powerful split to the face, simultaneously using your calves to chop at the side of his neck. Pulling him further with the chop to greatly enhance the already impressively strong drop attack. “..Improvised version~,” You say sticking your tongue out as you watch Gang Orca go into a state of unconsciousness.

Leaving a rather large crater from your attack, you finally disengage your quirk. No longer feeling his hands on your face, you instinctively rub your cheeks, looking down at your act with a cat-like grin. Although it could’ve been just as easy if not better if you just escape, your pride wouldn’t let you. Even if this act ends up giving the pros a more concrete answer to your quirk, you didn’t have any regret in your heart. This thrilling sensation was more than enough to pay for the fanservice.

“That was quite exhilarating Gang Orca. If I wasn’t pressed for time, I’ve loved to have a proper bare-knuckle brawl with you. Fighting a wall like yourself and overcoming it through brute force would do wonders in further building me up to the next stage. But I shouldn’t be greedy.” You praised Gang Orca, knowing that it was pointless talking to the unconscious pro hero.

Pulling yourself off from the ground, you proceed to use that momentum to go into a headstand, raising your legs up in the air. “So I’ll take my victory over the 7th ranked hero and make my exit.” Swinging your legs down it starts fusing with the ground, disengaging the fusion to appear on the other side. Thus creating that quicksand rippling effect as you sink. “Farewell~”
>>
>>4207892

Sinking to the bottom of the building, you find yourself stepping out of the door before leaning against the brick wall. Panting up a storm, you turn your eyes to the streets. As short as that fight was, it certainly took a lot out of you for such quick rush jobs. No, that was just an excuse. You were shaken from fighting the number seventh hero and barely winning the fight. This was as good as a wake-up call as ever to just how vast the superhuman society goes.

Plug & Play, the all in one transformation quirk. In simple terms, it allows you the ability to integrate things both organic and inorganic at an atomic level. Originally limited to triggering the fusion to only your body for the meeting point, it has since been refined and improved to the pinnacle of nigh-perfection. Through extreme training, it was reforged to allow a wide array of different applications including imprinting the characteristics and attributes of one or more targets into one newly crafted creation. Effectively turning the whole into something greater than the sum of its parts. With such a quirk by your side, it was easy fooling countless pursuers of the true nature of your quirk as you adapted to any situation accordingly.

However, this was the first time in a long time since you were pushed to this extent. If you weren’t careful you’d end up undoing the transformation and forcibly expel your treasure into the outside world. Therefore, you were careful in how you manage your remaining stamina since, in addition, this special quirk is also an accumulation-type. Without the necessary fuel, Plug & Play will become dormant and be inaccessible. At least, not without putting yourself into dire risks by burning your very life in the process. Reckless as you are, you weren’t a muscle-brain juggernaut who’d make such mistakes. Had you been chances are you would’ve been caught long ago. A quirk is only as good as the mind wielding it. And you were quite the crafty vixen.

In any case, you pull yourself through the alleyway and down the narrowing pathways. Restricting your quirk usage to the bare minimum as you rely on acrobatics and parkour to get through each and every obstacle. Putting yourself as far away from Gang Orca took more effort than you would’ve liked. A truly ruthless person would’ve killed him on the spot or fully integrate the unconscious pro hero into their body as a casualty at worst and prisoner at best. For as much as a cool hardass you made yourself out to be, you weren’t a killer. There was enough PTSD in your mind to fill a swimming pool, you didn’t need adding murder to that list.

Navigating through your surroundings eventually leads you into a beehive. Hosu City, one of the many places in japan that house the world’s largest hornets. Considering how dangerous they are to non-allergic people most would generally stay away from them. Not you as you purposely stick your hand into the hive, already using your quirk to nab yourself the queen bee. Merging with the specimen in hand, your body begins to change rapidly. Two large bee wings attached by comb-like teeth called the hamuli sprouts out from your back. Followed by two long antennas around your head, a bulbous stinger from your backside, and lastly an extra pair of arms. All of which drove you up the wall as you clench your teeth enduring the pain.
>>
>>4208280

“Fuck! I always hate this part. Feels like I got hit with growing pains mixed with charley horse cranked up to eleven!” You whine, finishing up the transformation and absorbing the rest of the bees to subtract the amount of additional stamina it takes fully growing the characteristics of the intended target onto your selected medium. It took less with you than it did with others but it was still a noteworthy drain depending on the mass you’re working with, especially for true fusion. Letting out an annoyed sigh, you place your second set of muscular arms against your hips. “That’s just what I had come to me for acting like a dumbass back there. Pushing myself like that is going to make me sore in the morning..”

Turning your attention back at the full moon, a smile of reassurance crosses your face as you have your original arms folding themselves back on your head. “Oh well, if I can pull off disguising myself as a mutant-type to this extent to fool just about anyone then having to deal with a little pain during full integration is a fair trade-off. I really am lucky to be blessed with such a good, multi-purpose quirk. Or perhaps it’s because it’s my quirk that it turned out that after all that intense training.”You bragged, giving a shit-eating grin in between walking down back into the street.

“Well whatever, doesn’t matter either way. I have more pressing matters to deal with anyway.” Stopping in mid-walk, you turn your eyes to the mirror to look at your statuesque appearance. Already bolstering a robust body prior, your added transformation and mass put you around an absurdly shredded Brickhouse. Hindsight you were glad you didn’t put serious thought into your getup and went for something stretchy. Still, you stared yourself with an annoyed pout, undoing your twintails. “...Though clothes shopping is going to be a real chore with a body like this.”

In your search, you manage to find a clothing shop not too far from the beehive. Luckily there wasn’t anyone around, making breaking in through housebreaking a cinch. Taking your sweet time inside you started picking yourself out multiple choices of clothing. Nearly going as far to poses in the mirror as surprisingly enough they have abnormal clothing for multi-armed giants like yourself. Perhaps part of it was due to your high from your victory but you went all-in picking out a wide wardrobe for your appearance. Storing what you found fitting to keep, you made sure to leave no tracks or credible evidence of your deeds.
>>
>>4208281

Once that cleared you stepped out of the shop wearing a black and gold military gothic lolita dress, matching black spats, stockings, buckle shoes and shades. Long wavy black haired reaching down to your stinger, you were ready to invoke “hiding in plain sight” as you intermingle with the crowd. What came next was what any fifteen-year girl with tons of money to spend would do. Partying. of course, that happened after you took the extensive activity of raiding your hideout, taking all your valuables and leaving the place empty before riding off into an express bus from Hosu to Musutafu. Having to smuggle all your goods and maintain your disguise left you taking a well-needed power nap.

Taking about a good six to eight hours to reach your destination, you step out of the bus feeling fully restored. Now in the city of Musutafu you took it upon yourself to find yourself a new base of operation. A process that didn’t take as long as you thought as you found a nice, cozy abandon building to call home. Once you got through inspection and found a secure place, you finally decide to shed some weight. Emptying your two years’ worth of stolen treasure manages to make you feel a long sigh of relief. Storage took one slot as to how many things you can fuse together, but aside from that, you were a walking hammerspace when in usage.

Now feeling free as a bird, you collapse happily on the floor next door. Now what?

I'd say that it was nearly two days tops. Given your training, you can maintain your assimilation indefinitely when it's yourself. But too much stress/wear down could force you out of it if you're not careful. Combing things like weld is temporary as they don't last more than a day max. You're not in any danger of permanently damaging your DNA as the regenerative healing factor is precisely for that scenario.

>>4208421

There are some similarities in quirk function given your mutation but yes it's safe to say your grandma has rubbed off on you in some way even due to having OFA during childbirth. But that's only one potential element to why you have so much excess energy and why your quirk is accumulation type. Obviously you don't have OFA.

The build is more or less the same.
>>
>>4209429

Also just for the record. quite possibly due to the AFO Quirk Factor influencing your own when you assimilate something you get that attributes. Hence why you can become a faux mutant type with that specific creature type, not like true mutants who get all forms of that species or some greater effect. As for quirks, you need a substantial amount of their mass, like an arm at least. Even then the quirk is only as strong as the number of proportions you have or additional stamina you wanna burn through.

Looking around your surroundings left you feeling rather appalled. Sure the building around you was serviceable and secluded enough to work as a base. But it really did look nothing short of a rundown dump than a studio building. Liquidating your last base of operation more than made up the cost to own this area, including fixing it up. The actual problem is doing the fixing. Hiring people to do it for you would be too much of a problem and potentially alert them of your crime streak. But doing the handiwork yourself was equally troublesome, even with two extra arms.

Letting out a long exaggerated sigh you rolled around the floor in a miniature tantrum, pouting at all the extra work you have to do. A girl just wants to celebrate her victory and party. At the end of your tantrum, you pulled yourself up and smack your butt as a way to tell yourself to toughen up and get to work. And work you did as you start gathering the necessary equipment and accessories needed for your dream pad yet again. Of course, you didn’t have to shop far for and most of the stuff you need you secured from your last home in addition to your vast treasures. Still, there was a fair amount you did have to round up again.

Using countless video instructions on the web and your own quirk you start refurbishing your base. Having four strapping arms and large wings certainly made the heavy lifting simple yet good practice for strength building. After facing Gang Orca you knew that you need some further muscle power if you wanted to break through such troublesome tanks without having to resort t cheap tricks. Putting your lingering thoughts aside you ultimately manage to do what would normally take a month in just a few days. Having done this multiple times made you basically a veteran despite being so young. What you lack in book smarts you more than made up with street smarts.

In between making your secret hideout your dream pad, you took the time off your schedule to pick up some additional stuff. Basically a get well package for Gang Orca. Given that he gave you the best fight you had in a very long time and your general nature you felt like you owed it to him to give him an apology. Even if he killed your buzz by pointing out what you been blocking out with your thrill-seeking, battle busting fun. Of course, you did send the gift anonymously, posing as a fish mutant with one of your free slots to further avoid suspicion.
>>
>>4209607

Back at the present, you step out of your pad wearing laid-back casual clothing. Now looking at your home sweet home, you felt deeply accomplished as the last hurdle was finally behind you. With a gleeful smile, you rose all four arms in the air at your planned activity. Today you were going to celebrate your heist, defeating the 7th pro hero, and making a new base of operation. You more than earned it as you planned on celebrating big. As you walked down the streets, your eyes turn attention to the playground. There was a green-haired boy standing with fisticuffs, protecting an injured kid from a group of kids.

In reality, there was no point in intervening such trivial manners. After all, children fight all the time, especially rambunctious kids. No matter how frivolous the reason, if it was enough for them then that was worth fighting over. In this case, you could see that it was the stereotypical ganging upon the weak scenario. The scrawny green-haired shrimp was playing the role of the defender, the hero coming to the rescue of the crying magenta haired boy. Seeing him hold his arm gave you enough information to put together that he was previously beaten up and in pain.

Compared to you who had to survive in the wilderness getting a little scrape here and there was laughably pathetic. Instead of scoffing the weakling, you turn your eyes to the opposing force. Standing in the middle was a platinum blond boy with spiky hair giving a rather intimidating if not borderline psychotic smile. To his right is a lanky brunette with a backward purple baseball cap giving a laid back yet bored stare. Towards his left was a burly chubby bald kid with a slanted fox-like expression. Each one of them alone looks like they could break the beansprout easily.

Curious you placed your lower arms into your skirt pockets, folding your original arms underneath your chest and commit to watching quietly. Far enough to still be within ear distance you hear the green-haired one questioning the boss, going as far as to refer to the spikey boy as Kacchan. A cute yet silly name but you weren’t judging since you didn’t have one. Either way, the timid green-haired body shakingly asks why they were doing this. Followed by taking fighting stance abet fragile and clumsy as he was willing to interfere and put an end to it.

To you, the kid was brave, stupid but admirably brave. Unfortunately, his declaration only causes him to meet with an untimely butt-kicking by the three boys. Each one of them quickly went to use their quirks as the fat kid sprouted bat-like wings, the baseball cap boy enlarging his hand and elongating his fingers, and the leader Kacchan sprouted explosives in his hands. In one fell swoop, you bare witness to slaughter as the reckless hero was brought down by a barrage of attacks from the three bullies.
>>
>>4209797

Unsurprisingly the green-haired boy was soundly trounced with no effort. Even if they didn’t use quirks it was obvious that the shrimp was at a big disadvantage. To make it worse was the fact the spikey Kacchan didn’t need any help as he was quite strong for a kid. He looks like the type to be able to bring down children much older than himself. His two lackeys, however, was decently strong and probably would’ve still won if they fought him one on one. If nothing else, it was decent to watch. That green one, in particular, could really take a thrashing as he refused to give up no matter how hard or frequently the bullies attacked.

What ended up perked your ears were hearing the leader mentioned that the green-haired boy, Deku was it? Yes, that boy lying defeated on the ground, apparently he didn’t have a quirk. A rare sight for about eighty percent of the world’s populous all having quirks. And the ones that didn’t were usually from a much, much older generation. Keeping your eyes pinned to the scenery it looks like the bullies were about to leave.

>Confront the bullies and call them out for being weak for needing to stack the odds in their favor

Choosing to not follow after the bullies you turn your attention towards the one called Deku. He was lying on the ground empty. Seeing stars was an understatement as he must be seeing the whole milky way after a beatdown like that. Currently battered and bruised for children’s standards, Deku remains still and unmoving. Meanwhile, the other boy felt immense guilt for having put the burden onto his would-be savior, but he was still a child. Children can be surprisingly straightforward and self-centered. If it was a pride thing you wouldn’t have batted an eye and walked away. Yet something about it felt familiar to you.

“You know you’re really dumb aren’t you?” You bluntly reply in curt fashion. Walking over to the two children, you kept your eyes glue onto Deku as you kneel to meet him face to face. “So tell me why exactly were you think it was a good idea taking on three kids like that? Do you think of yourself as some sort of superhero?”

“..Who are you?” Deku weakly mutters. Still showing signs of having the wind knocked out of him as he tilts his head towards you.

“Don’t change the subject. Answer my question. You didn't have any hope of winning. Why bother putting yourself in harm's risk like that?”

“I don’t know. He just looks like he was in trouble and my legs moved before I could think. I’m sorry” “..Kacchan has been acting especially mean as of late since he got his quirk. I don’t know why he would do these things. He got such an amazing quirk and he wants to be a hero. Just like the greatest hero who inspired me, All Might…. It’s all so confusing. ”

It was at that point your eyes intuitively widen at hearing the child’s explanation. Some reason it was resonating with you far more than it should. So much in fact your assimilation was coming undone from the sudden wave of emotions. Instinctively it was sinking back into your body, returning to the storage zone. While this was happening your mind was fluttering back. Back to a point in time that was long since forgotten. The entire world around you began going pitch black as it all happens within an instant.
>>
>>4209944

(Deku was smiling at you despite crying as he tries to defend Bakugo. My bad)

In the depths of your mind, your subconsciousness starts to play a scene. A scene of a little girl with twintails currently huddled in a corner in a protective hedgehog pose. The surrounding area was a large office surrounded by books and other business-like tools. Including a large computer desk and computer. The black-haired girl held back her tears, clenching her arms against her legs, showing a mixture of defensiveness and stubbornness. Standing in front of her was a tall businessman with slick black hair and red eyes. Unlike the girl, he had a stern, grumpy look on his face.

“I’m going to ask you again and I want you to tell me the truth. I already know that you went inside my office. A smart, crafty little child-like yourself would break in without leaving a trace. And would be intuitive enough to use her ingenuity to put my security system back the way I had it. Honestly, I’m not mad at you, you’re getting better at using your quirk. I’m only disappointed at you wasting time like this and not applying yourself to better things.” The businessman spoke, keeping his voice calm despite having signs of being upset with his daughter.

“Did you show him the picture?” As he asks this the huddling girl merely turns her head, puffing her cheeks and stubbornly refusing to talk. In her hand was a picture, a picture that she kept deep into her chest and refused to let go. On her face was slap marks, implying she was represented rather hard during the entire time.

“Why are you being difficult… Can’t you see I’m doing this for both of your good? There’s no value nor good in trying to become a hero.”The father explains, trying to reason with his daughter even after having to punish her. He adverts his eyes from her bratty attitude and letting out a disapproving sigh. “Your brother hasn’t awakened his quirk after all this time. It’s easier to label him as quirkless than fuel his foolish notion of grander. Not only that you’re different. You have a quirk better-suited helping society from the sidelines. Your innate ability to coordinate and work with others makes you a fine successor to my business. You can do far more good following the path of a businessman or a doctor. Or even a politician.”

Turning back to look at you, he begins to walk towards you. “Don’t squander your potential and lead your brother astray by supporting his foolish dream. You’re better than that.

Gritting your teeth and narrowing your brow you adamantly held your ground. “Daddy...Shut up.”

“Excuse me?” The father asks. His tone of voice slightly dropping as he wasn’t pleased with his daughter’s attitude.

“I said shut up. Who are you decide what has value and what doesn’t? What gives you the right to treat us like this and force us to follow your beliefs? You grown-ups always make the rules but never once try to listen to us from our standpoint. It’s not fair! I don’t understand any of this! Aren’t we suppose to be a family? Aren’t families suppose to support and encourage you in whatever you choose? If so then why, why od you keep being abrasive to our dream? Why do you keep things from us? Why don’t you want us to be just like grandma?! ” You said, reaching the point of tears as you rant at your dad. All of this seems completely unfair to you as you just wanted to be a happy family. To be just like your grandma and work together with your brother to make the dream of becoming heroes a reality. Was that really so wrong?

“Why can’t you understand?! She’s not your grandmother! She abandoned her family, her responsibility to play hero! And for what? She died saving no one! The villain that killed her is still out there causing trouble! Is that what you want?! Is that really what a hero means?! To selfishly trouble those around you, acting solely on your own interests while dodging responsibility! What good of distancing yourself from them for the greater good if you end up bringing them sorrow anyway?! That’s just self-centered sentimentalism! ” The father yells violently as he tries to force you to see his viewpoint. That very same view that he instructed into you. That heroes are people who hurt their families and those around them for the sake of helping others. A viewpoint that you couldn’t understand. And now you never wanted to.

Holding back your tears you turn your head to him, staring coldly at him with determination. “..If that’s what hero means to you...then aren’t you one daddy? “ You bluntly asks in defiance.

Realizing just what you were implying sent the businessman into a fit of rage. Deep down he knew that you were right. He was doing the same thing that he claimed his mother did to him. However, what into his mind was not the mental clarity to see to reason and make a change for the better. Instead, it was the growing resentment festering inside turning into pure rage. Blood vessels start to form around his hands, his anger no longer able to be contained. Right now he gave you the same, spiteful and abrasive look that he gave to your brother for the first time.
>>
>>4210021

Without saying another word he swings his palm sharply against your face. Hitting you with great force as your body flinches into shock The singing feeling of your redden cheeks far exceeded the previous sunburn-like sensation you quietly endured. Loosening your arms for just a moment, you nearly gave way to reveal the picture of your grandma hugging her son. Seeing the picture only further his rage as he goes to reach for it. Drifting out from your pain, you narrow your eyes into a glare.

Out of pure spite, you brush your knee against his hand, blocking him from the picture while pushing straight towards your mouth. Soon resuming curling into a ball you stubbornly refuse to let your father get the picture. Even with him pulling at your arms to reach for that picture you not once let yourself give into him. Sooner or later your arms would eventually lose against the tug of war game with your father. As a last-ditch effort, you shoved the picture into your mouth and swallowed it, using your quirk to store it into your body.

What came next you couldn’t remember. The only thing that was present was a sharp pain and constant stinging all over your body. Broken down into tears you ended up calling out to your brother, reaffirming his suspicion. An action that you would ultimately come to regret, but then again who could really blame you. Awakening back to the present you would see the unkempt green hair blurring your sight. It was just you and him now as the other kid ran off to get treated by his parents.

“Hey, miss are you alright?” The boy frantically asked, seriously concerned with your worrisome complexion. Instead of your hornet guise, you were back in your default, original form. Lying against your lap was a single photo. The very same photo that you kept inside all this time.

Snapping yourself out of your panic attack you reel back, holding the urge to strike out of you combat honed instincts. Your left hand clutching your chest, feeling your heart racing as you make heavy labored breathes. Skin breaking out into a cold sweat your body was trembling. Clearly showing signs of post-traumatic stress disorder you quickly get ahold of yourself before things get worse. Through picturing back the quiet serenity of the forest your body gradually adjusts itself back into a calming, normal state.

Brushing your face to get out any unwanted years in your eyes. You soon turn to face the worried child, forming a soft smile on your face. "It's nothing, you just made me remember someone I knew."

“I see. Was it someone important?” Deku asks.

Thinking real closely about the lingering feelings you have of the man left you feeling ill. From your flashback alone you didn’t feel any strong feelings for him. In fact, it would be more accurate to say that you downright hate him. Though knowing that your father was a wealthy businessman certainly put things into perspective. Perhaps you stealing from crooked businessmen and aristocrats was a deep-seated jab at your father. The man who rather hurt his own family by keeping them in a cage than letting them choose their path.

“...Yes, he was. But that’s not anything you need to worry about.” You reassure Deku, placing your left hand against his messy green hair. Giving it a little shake as you pat him.

Smiling from your warmth, Deku turns towards the picture as he reaches forward to grab it and hand it to you. “You know this woman in the picture reminds me of my mom. You kinda look like her now that I think about it. Was she a hero? Are you a hero too? What’s your quirk? Is it something to do with how you had four arms and bee-like traits?” Deku eagerly asks, nearly going full hyperactive giddying and jittering as you come to realize that this quirkless kid was a serious fanboy.

Shrugging off his eccentrics, you set Deku down and place your hand on his shoulder. Taking the picture gently from his hand as you look at it fondly. “She's my grandmother, and she was...the greatest hero, in my opinion. “

“Did she saved people with a smile?” Deku asks, pulling himself back as you put the picture back into your hoodie’s inner pocket.

“Yeah, all the time! She had the biggest of smiles, no doubt about it.” You smile sincerely. You weren’t sure why you said something like that when you never even met her personally. But some part of you felt strongly confident that you weren’t lying. That she really was the greatest hero and one who was always smiling.

Emerald eyes glittering with a shimmering light that nearly made you wince back from such innocence, Deku starts hopping back and forth like an energetic rabbit. “Then she’s just like All Might. He’s always saying that those who smile are generally the strongest. “

“It might’ve been that I don’t have a quirk, but I’m always made fun of…especially when I tell people I want to be a hero. Maybe that’s why….I don’t know…why I act without thinking. But deep down, I think saving people is super cool. Saving people with a fearless smile, no matter how bad things get, it’s that reassurance knowing that they can do anything, even the impossible is why I admire heroes like that the most. Especially All Might, the coolest hero in the universe. “ Deku mutters, his energetics slowly going down. It was written all over his face just how much he was bullied and ridiculed over by such wishy-washy dreams. It was hard not making comparison back to your flashback as you feel like your younger brother may have been exactly like this quirkless boy here.

Unwilling to lie to the boy, you place your hand back on his shoulders for comfort. “To be truthful, I'm no hero myself, well... Not yet anyway. But maybe someday I could be eventually - anything can happen.” You muse, turning your head back for a bit before looking at Deku. Raising your index finger in a shushing gesture. “Now for my quirk, well it’s a secret at the moment. Maybe you'll hear about it on the news someday."
“Aww, man! It looks so cool though. You gotta tell me” Deku frowns.

“Yeah! It’s really amazing! And I’m really sorry I can’t tell you right now but you’re going to have to trust me on this and wait for another time for the explanation. “ You say, letting the boy down but cheering him up at his disappointed frown.
>>
>>4210654

“Okay..” Deku mutters as he nods.

“But I will tell you this. Don’t cut yourself short. The fact you had to fight three kids simultaneously shows that you have potential. But try to be a little smarter about your plan of action. There’s no point in playing the hero if you’re not strong enough to change the outcome and keep those you’re protecting from worrying about you.” You lecture Deku, causing him to awkwardly laugh as he couldn’t argue about that. He didn’t regret his action but it was clear to him that he could’ve done things far better than what actually happened.

Tilting your head to where you last saw the boss of the trio of kids, you gave a serious stare as you reflect from personal experience. “That spikey blond kid, in particular, he’s clearly afraid of you. I could tell that he’s holding resentment towards you. Kids like that who believe they’re the best always hype themselves up. They can’t let themselves believe anything else otherwise they’ll fall apart to the pressure and expectation such a mindset puts on them. I’m not a psychologist so this is just my theory, but I think the reason why that boy is so abrasive and distant is that he scared of realizing he’s not as invincible as he thinks he is. That just maybe, he’s no different than you. And that infuriates him.”

“...That doesn’t sound like Kacchan. Why would he have any reason to think that? He’s special and can do anything he sets his mind to, meanwhile, I can’t do anything. Even the name Deku is a reflection of that…” Deku mutters, hesitant to think that the second person he admired most could be like that. That deep down he was human and carried his own burdens and insecurities. But the facade was certainly cracking as your words made him start to question his viewpoints.

“You can take my word with a grain of salt if you want. Just know that you’re not worthless or that becoming a hero is impossible for you. If you want to be just like those heroes you admire, then work hard, face adversities with a smile and move forward. Think about all the things you can do, improve on what you can’t, and branch out for new possibilities. The more doors you have, the better you’ll become at reaching your goals.” After saying that you rise back to your feet, putting your hands in your pocket as you slowly walk back to the street.

Stopping at the edge of the playground, you turn your head back to Deku. Giving him an earnest smile, grateful for the little shrimp for reminding you of something essential. “Also, thank you kid, you helped me remember something important, so take care of yourself and don't give up, you may become a hero someday," You said, turning back to the street and walking away. “Who knows, if you really take my advice to heart and train hard, the next time I’ll see you, I’ll tell you everything about my quirk.”
>>
>>4210656

As you walked away you could hear him thanking you as he falls to his knees crying. There was no doubt that he needed to hear those words and jumpstart his life around. Again you weren’t sure why but you felt at ease talking to the boy and encouraging him to follow his dreams. Had things been different, you may have very well gone to the top school in the country, U. A High and began your next step to becoming a hero, just like your grandma. Parts of your memory have returned but there was a murky fog obscuring the majority of your past. There were a lot of things to consider as to what you need to do.

For now, anyway, you put that all aside and focused on the here and now. And right now you were off celebrating. Enlightenment can take a backseat for one day.

Leaving the playground and traveling down south leads you into reaching Tatoooin Shopping District. Just as you hoped for it was an expansive array of different shops and restaurants for all sizes. Most with your kind of dough would go full-on shopping spree and spend until you drop. Not you. Living a life in the wilderness made you adopt a hermit lifestyle. At any point, your world could change and force you to change habitats. So in addition to being a hermit, you were also a nomadic person. Aside from a few essentials or work stuff, worldly possessions held no power over you.

Keeping things simple and straightforward has always been your path. All the cash you obtain went into private banks with the proper channels in order. Aside from that you usually carry just enough cash on you to get by. Painting you as some sort of sensible but still wealthy teenager from the upper class. And when it came to it, there was always your quirk adding some mass and resembling a full adult to pass through troublesome roadblocks. Doing things legitimately was not an option for an orphan on the streets. Much less the phantom thief Kemononoō. Even so, you did well to stay within boundaries to avoid attention.

Speaking of attention as you walk right into a nice restaurant you would see news feed covering over the incident in Hosu City. Already the news crew was trying to figure out what happened to Gang Orca. Although the police force has been covering up the feed, the internet was exploding with rumors about your exploits. In the two years doing this act you turned from small-time crook into a big shot. More impressive was the design they came up for you since you were good at hiding your identity even on the job. Therefore they painted you as some faceless brute in a stylish flamboyant fur trim suit while being androgynous for obvious reason.

Of course, your mind wonders if you hit Orca hard enough to forget your image or if the marketing was going to have a field day discovering how off they are once the truth comes into light. Putting a pin on that you turn back to your celebration and got yourself a giant hot pot known as the Nabemono. In this case, it was a meat version of the Chankonabe with some yakiniku for great barbecue dining. Sushi was an option but you felt guilty eating fish as a celebratory dish over defeating Gang Orca and your successful heist. Besides, eating a high-rich diet of meat certainly was a key component to your strength.
>>
>>4211025

Digging into your meal once the necessary equipment was brought to you and cooking it was done, you allowed yourself to savor every moment. In your euphoric joy, your mind wanders back to the memory still lingering in your mind. Having signs of your childhood certainly paint a conflicting contrast on the canvas that is your life. On one hand, your heists have been essentially a deep-seated venting over your old man among other psychological issues plaguing your mind. Yet at the same time, there was a distinct yearning from your inner child to follow your grandmother’s footsteps and become a hero.

Until this morning you didn’t have any indication of being a hero, much less one of those half-assed chumps. What was going in your head was looking for things to do for kicks. And your phantom thieving lifestyle certainly provided an outlet for that and proving your strength. A test to yourself that whoever was out there that nabbed you that you weren’t the scared little girl anymore. So why did it feel like you let yourself astray? You didn’t owe it to your grandma or anyone, including your kid self to actually follow suit and take the path of a hero. And even if you did feel remorseful of your actions, it wasn’t going to reprieve you of your actions.

At the likely choice of turning yourself in, you assume you are sent to juvie as an underage felon or serving five to twelve years in a high stakes prison. Maybe even more. The ones you stole from were bad people, you made sure of that. But the law wouldn’t see your robin hooding ways being noble, no matter how you used the stolen possessions. Still, there were Gang Orca’s words lingering in your heart followed by listening to Deku’s breakdown of why he wants to be a hero. To say that you were feeling agitated was an understatement. Pulling out the picture from your pocket, you stare deeply at your grandma with melancholy eyes.

“If you were here in my position...what would you do?” You mutter softly.

https://youtu.be/F5FEj9U-CJM
By augmenting our human physique with mantis shrimp abilities, we can see in almost every single spectrum of light, giving us flawless septocular night vision, armored chitin and a punch to rival All Might. The mantis shrimp is the objectively most overpowered animal, we can see with triple the precision of an average human in enough spectrums of light to observe the subtle electromagnetic emissions of nerves firing through a target's clothes. Not that it would matter since we can do spam punches as strong as Carolina smash at will with only a second or two of cooldown between strikes. Fun fact, mantis shrimp is often consumed in restaurants all across japan. We are only one Red Lobster visit away from godhood.

Since we're going Rappa's fight Club style I'll ask this. How do you prepare? Do you go at it raw, try to fill your slots with what you can find, etc.
>>
>>4211922
Let's go find some things to fill our slots. What I'm thinking for our slots:

1. Circuitry/Electronics for Machine, or Electricity Powers
2. Insects for flight, multiple arms, venom, etc.
3. Maybe a Shark because Shark Girl
4. Rubber for defense and offense
5. And an Empty slot just in case

I'm open for more suggestions.
>>
>>4211940
Let's go with Circuitry/Electronics.
>>
>>4211940
this is fine
>>
>>4211940

Any types of chemicals we can fill our slots with?
>more insects and venom

doubt electricity would do us any good against power types.
>>
>>4211940

Has my approval. But if we're going insects then let's stick to old fateful and go Japanese giant hornet. Covers all of bases and is toxic enough to be dangerous to non-allergic people.

If not that but Praying Mantis or Herculean Beetle is good too
>>
>>4211962

Well, if the size of that hornet were multiplied several dozen fold, how toxic would it be then?
>>
>>4211940

I actually got a good one:

>Rob an aquarium.
>Steal a rainbow mantis shrimp.
>Become invincible.

https://theoatmeal.com/comics/mantis_shrimp
>>
>>4211963

Their wing speed and muscle exertion cis enough to kill lesser bees easily. I'm thinking at our size it's superheated waves of hot air or plasma

As for venom if it can kill 40 people a year despite its size which bte is pretty fucking huge for bee then I thinl our poison would be bonkers. And if the poison doesn't get them then the pheromone in it will attract more hornets to finish the job. The Japanese giant hornet are monsters. Also the stinger can dissolve human tissues. That alone is worth a slot.
>>
>>4211922
I can live with >>4211940
>>
>>4211976

Also bees have always been tied to bio-electrical stunts in comics. Probably do to their energy fields and electroreception if we're going for electric attacks that save us an extra slot unless we want more power.

Personally think that bee anon is right and this should be a main stay. Its too versatile to say no. 30 asian hornets took down 300k bees. You do the math.

All we would need is to absorb the material we want our outfit to be made out of, and morph our body to match (while also ignoring that we're technically naked despite being fully clothed).

Well Black Widow or Black Cat would be obvious, but this first came to mind.

Asking a picture of your dead grandma for guidance wasn’t exactly the best idea when you think about it. Not that you have anyone else you could go to for advice. The slightest slipup is disastrous given how infamous your phantom thief idea has become in the two years you’ve been doing this game. The Heroes and Police Administration at this point would be looking to seriously pull out their A-game to try and apprehend you. As for the villains, they may see you as a threat or potential alley depending on the person. And you didn’t want to think about the person that did whatever to you still lurking in the unknown, waiting to claim back its lost cat.

“Ya’know most teens wouldn’t have to deal with half of what I have to go through.” You muttered before letting out an annoyed sigh.

This was supposed to be your day of celebration. Yet here you are having an existential crisis, at the age of fifteen minds you. Leaning back into your chair and drooping your slanted cat-like eyes, you went into a pouting fit before slapping yourself in the cheeks. Not letting yourself ruin your day you commit yourself to have fun and enjoy your celebratory meal. Easier said than done as there was still some part of you feeling anxious. If this was grandma’s way of making you reflect upon your actions and repent from beyond the grave. Then she was doing a pretty damn fine job.

After eating your fill and then some you went back to your base of operations. In the end, you came to the decision of stopping your heist for now. Doing them in your current state of mind is just asking for mistakes. As a self-made master phantom thief and other nefarious talents beneficial for your line of work, you always trust your intuition especially when it came to taking a heist or not. It’s how you managed to go through two years without getting caught. To you, this was one of those times where you felt it was best to fold for the time being. But not before going for one last miniature heist as you suit up in your standard go-to outfit.

Taking a trip to Musutafu’s popular aquarium you easily break into the property without alerting security. Walking through the surroundings and utilizing your honed senses, you manage to pick out an assortment of different animals’ prime tor integration. The funny thing about Plug and Play is that in order for it to do its integrations perfectly it has a series of steps. There are plenty of quirks that have secondary effects or sub-abilities that one would think that they have another power or not. Like Captain Celebrity with his flight or Gang Orca with his multi-purpose echolocation, there were plenty of quirks that when applied properly can bring forth new, undiscovered possibilities and different phenomenons.
>>
>>4212197

For Plug and Play, it granted you regenerative powers, abundant amounts of vitality, and hammerspace in addition to its main ability to better assure the process goes through with the least inconvenience possible. A true example of high risk vs reward quirk ultimately became tremendously strong through your efforts, but the potential for it to be overpowering as some would say was always there. Going back to the body storage aspect, something strange happens when interacting with a target. Being one of the few types of quirks that can directly interact with mass, it can stack and overlap before allowing conservation of mass to kick in and rearrange & change the form into a new entity altogether.

For example, if you were to merge with a building it would easy for you to manipulate it as your own body, including reshaping it into resembling your physical form. At least, in theory, you never went far enough to actually do battle with people with gigantification quirks. But from experience you know it’s with your current skill level given how thorough you pushed your quirk mastery and refinery. But that’s not the amazing phenomenon. Living organisms that you store inside yourself are well preserved and put into a state of complete stasis. Those are inside are safely protected from all manner of outside interference, achieving a form of self-sufficiency and biological immortality in cryogenic slumber. So long as they’re stored inside you.

Thus you didn’t feel particularly bad taking both an aquarium shark and a rainbow mantis shrimp and storing them inside your body. The only thing it did for you further increased your appetite to keep your body fully optimized. With the queen bee-ish, Asian giant hornet inside that was effectively three things currently in storage. As for the fourth, you took it upon yourself to find the strongest rubber you can obtain for offensive and defensive capabilities. As for the fifth slot, you left that open just in case but having a portable circuitry/electronics device on standby if there was nothing in your area that you can utilize. All this preparation was necessary for your change in plans as you prep yourself up in the gym for your trip to the underground quirk fighting ring.
>>
>>4212198

From what you gathered it was a secretive spot for those looking to use their quirks to the fullest without being prosecuted by the law. A coliseum of street fighting where people make bets and use the fighters as entertainment. Basically a fight club. Disguising yourself under the guise of being a Chimeraish quirk that gains powers through consuming animals, you made your way towards the location. Finding the place wasn’t hard once you got done with preparation as they’ll take any rift raff looking to fight. That said, it was those same first timers that usually got them dragged into participating in the first day. Speaking of which, you would see a couple of thugs coming your way in suits as you got through registration.

“Fresh meat I’d take it?” One of the bouncers asks as they stand towering at you. He was a bald man with a rugged beard and sunglasses. Practically standing at seven feet with a burly built.

“Something like that. I’m looking for a fight and this is the place for it.” You brazenly state, cracking your neck a bit to loosen yourself up.

“You got moxie kid, I like that. See I can tell just from the look of their eye whether or not they’re the real deal or some punk looking for some cheap thrills. And from what I can tell in your eyes, you fit the former. You’re not like the other new recruits I’ve judged in recent months. So I don’t have any qualms letting you in. That said, this isn’t your simple bar fight. If you step through those doors, you’ll be walking down the gates of hell. If you’re not willing to gamble it all then you should go back.” The bald bouncer says, kneeling to meet you face to face.

>Thank the bouncer for his advice but reassure him of your conviction
>Offer to brawl with him if he doesn’t think you’re willing to participate and follow all of the rules
>Asks him why he’s showing concern for you and about the fight club
>Give a demonstration of your quirk to put his mind at ease
>Write-in

Fair enough, but I did consider another fix in between writing. With her quirk, she should be able to patch up her shredded clothing and put them back together like it was never ripped at all with her current skill level. If she can assimilate clothing an adapt it accordingly, then surely this would be in her range too.

An Alias and a fake name would be good to by since story-wise you don't know your true identity.

Going by >>4205561 I couldn't come up with a good name for L8 since Lhachi is the best thing that comes to mind and it's dumb.

The actual name I had to offer was taking the 8 and turning it into two zeros, so instead of it spelling Hana, it's Reina or Leina/Lena (Rina). That or Maruna.

Got me for a surname. Maybe Matsumoto

“Why exactly are you showing concern for me? I thought bouncers were generally silent and neutral.” You ask, raising an eyebrow as you continue staring at the man. Your relaxed expression turned tense upon thinking that this was because you’re a girl. Resulting in you fuming like a ticking time bomb. “This better not be some nonsense like I’m a girl cause I’ll bust down every single punk who raises their hand. I fought countless people, even the pro heroes, both the pretenders and the real deal. Took them all down with my bare hands, so I’m not a delicate flower.”

Breaking into a fit of laughter, the bouncer starts to suddenly pat you on the back. Hitting with enough force to dislocate an average man’s back. “Nothing of the sort. I don’t need x-ray vision or foresight to get a read on your build and aura. Course your firecracker attitude does remind me of my little girl back home. Though she isn’t nearly built like yourself. I could smack a steel bar through your abdomen and you’ll barely flinch.” Feeling his strength first hand you believe he could pull off the feat with one arm easily.

“Anyway, to be perfectly honest you don’t look like the type that would be driven to these low points. Most of the fighters here enter this place because society has turned them down and they’re looking some way to survive. Regardless of the specific reason, they all have that one thing in common. That’s why they fight, for them fighting here is their last chance to earn a semblance of a purpose or reason. For them, this is rock bottom. And when people hit rock bottom they’ll fight tooth and nail to climb themselves back to the top. Or they die trying.” The bouncer explains, alerting his other companion to go back and watch the gate. To which the spiky-haired man nods before leaving the two of you alone.

“You get what I’m saying?” He asks, tilting his shades to reveal his sharp golden eyes.

“Thanks for the concern but it’s not necessary. I don’t have anything, that’s why I’m here. By going through hell gates I’ll find what I’m looking for. And if that gives me a chance to become stronger along the way, then I welcome my descend into the abyss.” You smile, taking his pats and proving your spunky attitude as you refused to be brought down.

“Well, can’t say I didn’t warn ya kid. If you have enough ambition to see it through, you might survive your trip into hell. But how you’ll appear by the end, well that depends on how resilient you are. Maybe even lucky.”

“What do you mean by that?”

“A lot of people I see get messed up beyond recognition. We consider those who can walk away a cripple to be among the lucky ones. See we have very few rules in this establishment. Two fighters go into the ring, anything goes after that. No matter how you win, if you win you win, that’s that. You’re a smart kid so I don’t think I need to repeat to you about the eight rules.” The bouncer explains, directing you to walk alongside him towards the entrance hallway.

Following him, you start to think back to the rules you discovered during registration. In correlation to the anything-goes stipulation, there are eight rules that the establishment follows. The first being you swear to secrecy and do not by any means talking about what partakes in these parks. Doing so is a death sentence. The second rule is that if a fighter yells “stop!”, goes limp, or taps out, the fight is over. The only exception when it’s a no holds barred match where the winner decides the fate of the loser. Death is a likely option given the scarceness of such a choice.

The third rule is that only two people to a fight, so unless it’s directly manifested or connected by the quirk all manner of outside interference is revoked. The fifth rule is the fights are one at a time for obvious reasons. As for the sixth rule, it was simple, you fight with your bodies and quirks. Anything that doesn’t correlate to your quirk is banned. The seventh rule has the fights only lasting as long as they need to. A practical business approach to keep the entertainment at its peak. And the final rule is that newcomers fight on the same day, no objections. With these rules and the freedom to fight as you please makes this fight club the devil’s den.

“You guys treasure secrecy you practically have it on the rules twice. Aside from those eight rules, I can gather the chaotic nature of how these fights will go down. Puts the concept of a bare-knuckle battle to shame. “ You quipped in a checky manner.

Sternly smiling to himself, the bouncer finally stops at a double door. A glass door that revealed the enormous caged arena where hundreds among hundreds of rows of seats and other necessities for a privately funded chicken fight. There were even VIP places hovering at the ceiling for the most important big shots. Bars, betting booths, casino games, this underground club had just about anything you need to enjoy yourself. The bouncer wasn’t kidding about the atmosphere making one feel like they’re nothing.
>>
>>4212373

“Very good, now listen up. Once you enter this door you are affectively nothing and will be treated like nothing. The only defiance against that is to win. If you win you’ll be acknowledged and be somebody. But only if you keep winning. “ The bouncer says, opening the door, giving you full access inside.

“And there’s one more reason why I warn you. There are notorious people, dangerous ones who won’t be lenient in a fight. Drop your guard once and you’ll be pushing up daisies. One fighter in particular hungers for a true fight. His favorite fight, the no holds barred deathmatch. “
“What’s his name?” You ask, stepping inside the door before turning to look back at the bouncer.

“His name is Kendo Rappa, the raging demon. If you’re lucky, you’ll never have to fight him.” The bouncer remarks, grabbing at the door as he starts to close it. “Good luck kid, you’re going to need it.”

How's this for our Arena Name:

Grendel
The monster from Beowulf.
>>
>>4212903

Grendel was a monster allright, but i don't think it fit with us, we sure aren't evil incarnate, and our method isn't "punch it,take hit, punch harder, retry"... or at least, not always.
Mhhh... maybe Koloss or Uhyre, they both means monster and (from what i gathered), Koloss is used for a Colossus or something akin to a juggernaut, seemingly unbetable and a huge challenge. Also, i just found out it the name of a music album.

Uhyre instead is more for something very fearful or terrible. Soemthing that no matter what you do, it will haunt you. Now, and forever more.

Or they just both mean just monster and I fucked up, but let's not worry about that!

I'm surprised that with the number 87 no one was able to come up with the name Hachiko Nana. It's pretty good I think, with the name Nana we can take on our grandmother's legacy. I'm not so satisfied with Hachiko though, so I'm actually gonna reccomend Yakumo which means "eight clouds" and considering the clouds relation to "tenko", or, the heavens, our name now holds meaning to two of our family members.
>>

Perhaps we need to make a real friend for us instead of finding a mentor?

I can't imagine us not making a friend.

“Thanks.” You sincerely told the bouncer before he closed the door.

Now left to yourself you start to assert your surroundings, keeping up to your guard for any funny business. This was supposed to be an underground fighting ring but given the atmosphere, it feels like a weekend at Las Vegas. Seeing the sights from a bulletproof glass window and actually being around them was two vastly different things. Most of all, it painted the imagery that when it comes to it, people loved to see the world burn. Like the spectators in the Colosseum, this was just another advent display of public spectacles of the same accord. Only modernized while retaining that same brutality in some cases.

Between the underground fight club, the original Meta Liberation Army, and various other black-market businesses, they all share one thing in common. The liberation and fair use of one’s quirk outside in cases such as self-defense or correlation to one’s job provided they have their licenses. The most freely used license and perhaps the hardest is that of sanctioned government professions such as Heroes. It’s a necessary evil in this growing superhuman society as, like all men, not all quirks are equal. And even if they’re the vast minority, there was still the quirkless population to consider.

While most accept it as a necessary part of maintaining global stability, not everyone agrees to these registrations. Hence places like this, and worse yet the people who rebel the system for their own gains commonly referred to as villains. As intuitive as your street smarts are, this was basic knowledge especially for those in the dark web. Still, being around people who came for the entertainment really painted a picture of the darker vices that people wrestle with every single day. Under such watchful eyes who enjoy the misery of others, it really does give the impression of how insignificant one really is to these packs of wolves.

Ignoring that feeling led you to twirl around the parlor. In your search, you found several different fighters. Both newcomers and veterans, the difference between them were easy for you to pick out. While a natural there was a clear difference between you and the long time veteran, some even going as far to be doing this by at least a decade. But as time has proven, again and again, you were the type to gain remarkable experience and growth when faced with adversity. Eying the fighters made you aware of the different clicks and partnerships between the combatants and the sponsors. Even the underground operates on corporatization.

Some fighters were going solo like yourself while others having a whole crew together. Giving for a wide assortment of different combatants both big and small. There were even some that made your current guise feel small by comparison. Right now nobody knew that the lofty amazon was actually a fifteen year old girl. Even if they were willing to go the whole nine yards and commit underage fighting, you didn’t want to be singled out by the crowd or the combatants. Be that as may, you did manage in your long scouting to map out the general outlook of the entire underground and all that you need to consider when using the environment to your advantages.

As you continue sightseeing, you soon feel something brushing against your body. A tight grope at your derriere from sturdy, firm hands. Sending an immense shiver down your spine as you didn’t even sense anyone getting into your personal space. Let alone not triggering your combative reflexes that went into autopilot whenever someone tried to approach you from your blind spot.

>Turn around and strike at the mysterious lecher at full force

In all of your years tangling with countless fighters and your profession as a phantom thief, not once did anyone manages to catch you completely off guard, especially not to this existent. Sure, getting groped like this was certainly demeaning and humiliating for someone like you, but you could look past it. What really has you spoke was the fact that had your assailant wanted to, they could’ve inflicted serious damage, take something from you or even kill you and you wouldn’t know until it was too late. Really it was the perverted act that kept you from panicking at this moment of weakness.

“Hmm, this peach is certainly ripe. Doesn’t look like it’s done developing though. Say do you do squats? Cause you got great glutes and toned legs. A fountain of lower body strength.” The mysterious person spoke, allowing himself to be recognized. His voice was a dapping gentleman in his fifties with some graveness in it. Even as he was having a conversation with you, there was something opposing about him that made your entire body numb. Words were now a trial as you struggle to communicate.

“In all the time I’ve been walking beside you since you stepped into the underground fight right, not once did you notice my presence. At least until I purposely made myself known. You really are green.” The old gentleman sighs, acting like a disappointed parent despite his very inappropriate behavior. It was enough to get under your skin as you look down at him.

Calming yourself as you temper your impulses, you let out a silent pout. “IFine, I admit it, you’re pretty good, old man. Normally I’d smack you so hard you’d be on the other side of the parking lot. Still bouncing. But, I’m willing to let it slide if you do two things for me.”

“Oho? Making a deal, are we? Very well I suppose I do owe you that much for trampling on your pride like this.” The old man laughs.
>>
>>4214304

“First tell me how you got passed my defenses. I have been surviving in the woods since I was ten and I’m pretty sure I’ve gotten really good at reflexively striking at my blind spot.” As you ask this you kept your fists clenched, manly as a detriment to both your impulses and his fondling to cease before you lose the patience to gain from this experience.

“You’re not lying about that beansprout, you got some really good legs for someone who build up their muscles and reflexes. With strong, limber legs such as these, it’s like diving into a viper’s den. It’s rather unfortunate you haven’t actually dive deep into the realm of Mushin much less master it or anything of the five spirits of budo.” The old man remarks, giving a serious stare in light of the situation. “..Though if to be honest I actually was expecting you to try and attack me. I’d anticipate and counter your moves, restrain you through the pressure points, and have you undergo a humble lesson while explaining what you did wrong. So I’m rather disappointed that it didn’t happen.”

Choosing to ignore the old man’s sulking despite clearly still not getting the memo of stop playing with you both physically and mentally, you instead focus on his insightful words. “Five spirits of budo…”

“Yes, there are five fundamental minds or spirits of budo; shoshin, zanshin, mushin, fudoshin, and senshin. “

“Before you actually explain it to me there’s the second thing you need to do.”

“What’s that?” The old man asks as he looks up to you.

Closing your eyes, you tighten your grip harder as you force yourself to smile. Revealing shark-like teeth for added effect. “Get your hands off my ass before I take back the desire to punch you until I blackout from my rage.”

“See that should’ve been your first request rather than the second.” The old man gave one final squeeze before pulling away in a joyous laugh.

He was clearly making fun of you as you grip your forearm, suppressing the urge to kick him and remain civil. Even for someone who doesn’t really care too much, this was starting to really infuriate at you. Pulling off from the ground stood a six-foot gentleman wearing a dark green vest, green scarf, black fedora, and matching suit. Seeing him face to face certainly took away from the comedic mood prior.
>>
>>4214330

“But enough on teasing the freshly picked green sprout I can tell from the moment I laid eyes on you that you were something special about you. Your form is clearly self-taught, yet carries a nice balance despite not having any stance. A youngling like that couldn’t have gained refined reflexes and muscle control without undergoing some serious hardships or endeavor. Still, a guard of only that level shows you have a long way to go.”

“Yes, yes you got me. But if I knew about you having some sort of quirk that can bypass my guard I’d wouldn’t have made the same mistake.” You declare in a pout, folding your arm and sprouting your shark tail out of paranoia.

“Don’t be a dimwit, you should already know in reality if your enemy gets the drop on you that your life is forfeit. If you want to be treated like the real deal then you can’t be holding a chip on your shoulders like a spoiled brat.” The old man bluntly shouts. Nearly making you freeze up by how serious his stern gaze and tone was in comparison to his usual joyous trickster nature.

“First off I don’t have a stealth-based or disappearing quirk. Most of these newbies and regulars think that it’s the quirk themselves they need to worry about but that’s where they’re wrong. What I did just there was hiding my presence and making my intent or fighting spirit as the youngsters would call it tranquil and still. It’s a simple trick. Simply holding my breath and clearing my mind, I can erase my presence entirely and vanish from their line of senses/point of view. This is especially easy if you can freely make the senses of your target, at least the ears and eyes turn away from your presence. “

“Humph.” You pouted deeper, folding your arms as you resign yourself to listening. Finding yourself agreeing with his analysis only made things worse but you committed yourself to be civil since he was giving you genuine knowledge and advice.

“For added insurance, I apply two more tricks in my arsenal. The first is to move without making a single sound or tell. Hiding your motion is incredibly different, especially to sensitive individuals with heightened senses. As for the second trick, it’s a simple sleight of hand as I adjust my rhythm accordingly through a varying cadence of steps. When properly applied you can do all sorts of deceptions such as making afterimages or being a perfect doppelganger as you match your target move by move before they even realize it. “ The old man smile, going as far as to show you the steps to help you commit to memory. Seeing it first hand astounded you as if you didn’t know better you’d believe he had some sort of illusion-based quirk as he created several different afterimages and his movement shifts and sway, making it exceptionally hard to read.

>Challenge him to a fight in the ring. You'll learn from him the way you've always learned - by copying the moves you like most from your opponent.
I like to think that our brutish fighting style at least somewhat developed this way, by picking up the most interesting moves from the pro heroes we fight.

“Okay, I think I get it.“ You nod, folding your arms. You were mentally thinking what bullshit magic is that? in light of seeing someone move fast enough to make after images. This clearly has to be related to his quirk or just using sleight of hand and making you think there’s distorting imagery of himself moving in place.

“If you got it then we’re done here. If you do well in your first match I’ll give you another tip.” The old man says, pulling his hat over his face before walking off back to the bar.

“Actually you’ll be doing more than watching from the sidelines.” You manage to catch the old man before he was out of your arms to reach. “See I’m someone who learns by doing rather than listening to a lecture or watching demonstrations. And what better way than put your advice to use than to learn from the man himself. Directly.” You smile, slanting your left eye while opening your right eye widely to give for a rather wild expression.

Turning to look back at you, the old man nearly laughs as he brushes your hand off his broad shoulders. “Pardon? If you’re trying to use feminine charm on me and invite a touching session. Then I’m going to have to shoot you down for being far too young for me. I’m not into jailbait.” He teased, causing you to nearly fall over from the random shot at you.

“Huh?Wha? No, you jackass! I’m challenging you to a fight. Right here, right now!” You scream, pushed to the point of fuming as you put your foot down against the ground. Causing a small tremble in the process.

“Uh-huh. You’ll have to forgive me, I might have a hearing problem. Cause it sounds to me that you’re actually challenging me to a fight.” The old man asks. His finger digging into his ear to make sure that he was hearing things right.

Nearly getting up to his face you gave an angry glare before pointing to the ring. “You heard me. You, me in that arena. The rules about the underground fight club say that I have to fight since it’s my first night. But it didn’t say that I can’t choose who I’d fight.”

“Are you sure you’re not letting your temper cloud your judgment? Most fighters would stick to fighting around their skill level in the beginning, especially around in these parks.”

“I made up my mind. I’m fighting you tonight. And when I put my mind on something, there’s nobody that can stop me. So put up or shut up.”
>>
>>4214617

“Well, you’re brave. Stupid but brave, I’ll give you that much. It’s a shame that I’m not a fighter, I’m a retired old man that knows his way around. I don’t think you’ll get the clearance to change the schedule and book the fight that you seek.” The old man shrugged. Seeing him pull a loophole like that made you

“Now listen here you sanavabich- “ Before you could reach for the old man as he begins to walk away again, someone else intervenes by grabbing him by the coat collar.

“Actually I’ll allow it.”Said a rather charming, husky woman. Practically oozing with confidence and elegance while brimming with authority she left your ears ringing from the power in her words.

Turning your attention to the right you see a seven-foot woman with medium length silvery-white hair. To call her a statuesque stunner was an understatement as you look up the hulking powerhouse. It’s impressive that she’d fit both implications of the term brickhouse as she looks like a walking brick wall with her beefy physique. More impressive was her choice of attire fitting her body like a glove. A corset tank top, leather pants, armored gauntlets, and combat boots. This room clearly must have a physical quirk or perhaps gigantification.

“What?! No! Damn it Chisa! Don’t you see that this is a ridiculously dumb idea? She’s far too inexperienced and reckless. Besides, I told you I was done participating in your games.” The old man exclaims, turning to meet her face to face as he immediately drops his suave coolness.

“Aww don’t be like that Shinny. Just because you got a permanent place in this organization doesn’t mean you have immunity. Everyone is eligible for a fight. You and I included~” Chisa grins, leaning against the tall man as she made even him feel short by comparison. You couldn’t help but think of a Russian-style polar bear looking at her. Either way, Shinra made a sour face as he grimaces at Chisa’s strongarming act.

“Thanks for the intervention, but who are you exactly miss?” You ask the woman, remaining polite while keeping your distance.
>>
>>4214665

“This is the current owner of the Underground Fighting Association. Chisa Busujima, of the Busujima family. They’re an influential family both in the surface and in the underground.” Shinra explains. “But don’t let her charm full you. This she-hulk isn’t human even by our standards. She’s actually a monster wearing human sk-” Before the old man could finish, Chisa happily grabs Shinra by the neck and starts to chokehold him.

“Thanks for the introduction Shinra but I think you’re laying it on a little too thick. You’ll distract the poor girl.” Chisa reprimands Shinra, forcing him to tap out as she overpowered him in her hold. “Although, I was thinking of adding quirk to the title to be clearer. But UFA just rolls around the tongue more. “

Feeling that cathartic sensation at seeing someone handling the old man, you quickly snap back into reality. “Wait, so she’s the boss of this ring?”

“Yes, that’s right, doll. I’m the one who decides the fights and who will be fighting. And I got the money, influence and...well just look at my build. Do you honestly think I don’t get the raw power to back up and enforce the rules?” Chisa points out, showing off her guns and emphasizing on being both the brains and the brawn of the operation.

“Well, I’m very grateful at your help at setting this up. But I’m confused, I thought anyone who enters is free game?” You bow at Chisa, acknowledging your benefactor while being confused.

“Very good. Normally the boys and I would laugh at your request to fight against Shinra Tobirama. If you know his track record then you know that he’s-”

“Chisa!” Shinra howls, cutting her off before she could spill any more than what she already has.
>>
>>4214685

Looking at his serious glare, Chisa ends up cutting herself off and covers her mouth playfully. “Right, right my bad. See, he gets a little antsy when I bring up his old backstory. Anyway, he’s a much higher price than you. However, this is a perfect way to cap off our thirty-seventh anniversary. Getting to see the legend himself, step back into the ring after his long ten-year retirement. All to take on this rising newcomer from who knows where. A clash between the old generation and the new one. Even if the match only lasts for five minutes, the entertainment value will be through the roof. “ She says, turning back up the audience, specifically the higher-ups at the VIP sections.

“Maybe, but if our little girl is confident in her skills and has the stones to pick a fight with you without hesitation, then I’m willing to bet on this little firecracker.”She exclaims, showing a whimsical smile upon turning to you and back to Shinra. “Besides Shinra, you still owe me.“

“Look I’d told you that my organization approved request for winning negated all manner of the gambling and partying tabs you’re trying to hold against, in addition to the rest of the deal,” Shinra argues.

“There’s a limit to how much you can try to loophole the system, you stubborn old man!” Chisa hisses, butting heads with Shinra like a pair of cats and dogs. You, on the other hand, were left to watch the two adults ultimately having to settle it in a quick game of rock paper scissor. To which Chisa won best out of five, much to Shinra’s annoyance. He starts to grumble as he walks over towards the bar to drink the massive headache that the boss put on his lap.

“Glad you see things my way.” Chisa waves, turning her attention back to you. “Now listen kid, I’m giving you the chance what others have to climb tooth and nail starting from the bottom of the barrel to have an exhibition match with a fighter at Shinra’s caliber. So I hope you’ll give me a good show. “
>>
>>4214711

“I’ll try to do just that, don’t worry. Just one more thing. Do you think you could hook me up with your tailor? I’m looking for someone, preferably who’s skilled at making costumes capable of handling shapeshifting, size control, and/or multi-forms. I don’t think the audience would want things to get weird if I end up using my quirk. Also, a custom suit would also be nice.” You clap your hand together. Trying to look rather cutely as you took this opportunity to solve another problem.

“You really are a cheeky cherry bomb. Tell you what, I’ll sponsor you if you show me that you’re someone worth taking in. Do that and you’ll never have to worry about inconveniences with your quirk.”

Trivia Fact, Shinra's name is both a reference to the number 4 and is derived from the Japanese idiomatic lexeme "shinrabanshō" which can mean either "all creation" or "all things in nature".

Tobirama means "the space between two doors" but also mean the access of progress and improvement. And Tobi is also tie into Obi-wan cause Hori is a major star wars fan.

As for Chisa, her surname Busujima means "Sacrifice, Innovative, Powerful: while the name Chisa means "A Thousand Soft Silk" or lifethread

Ok discuss with yourselves on how you get ready. What's your starting integration based on what you brought? Game plan, etc>>4212035

what was our plan again mantis shrimp rubber and what more?
>>
>>4214808
what do we got inside us?

>>4214892
I meant to say integrated with us and I was thinking we just go in there without a plan

>>4214876
bee could be useful with its poison and shark for its biting power
>>
>>4214876
yeah let's go with mantis shrimp and rubber.
>>
>>4214876
Here's my plan:
The shark's electroreception to help track the bastard better - reducing your fighting spirit probably won't help for reducing your bioelectrical signals.
The shrimp's eyes, punching bits, and exoskeleton.
The rubber goes throughout the bulk of the body but ESPECIALLY reinforces organs, joints, the spinal chord, and the skull.
The hornet gives us wings, antennae for even more sensory input, mandibles, additional limbs, and the stinger.
>>
>>4215393
support lets go full battle mode
>>
>>4215393
That's a bit overkill. We don't need anything from the hornet and we also don't need the exoskeleton since the rubber will be just fine.

we are trying to impress the king of overkill

>>
>>4215704

Cause there's vuclanized rubber, hard rubber like ebonite, smart rubber that heals, EPDM, Silicon or even graphite infused rubber. There's a lot to choose from and I wanna know before throwing a suggestion
>>
>>4215738
I was assuming we took some commonly found rubber from our surroundings at the time.
>>
>>4215697
>>4215738
> you took it upon yourself to find the strongest rubber you can obtain for offensive and defensive capabilities.
>>
>>4215749

So EPDM or Ebonite. Good enough. Smart rubber would've bern cool for having all the general benefit of rubber but also heal and self repair so we could go into that for the start with the shark and escalate over time if we get pushed. Though now I'm wondering why we didn't go orca instead of shark.

Also there got to be like one thing we won't fuse with due to a childish phobia like worms

>>4215205
>>4215415
>>4215641
>>4214934

Okay from what I'm reading it looks like we're going for the plan but starting with the Shark's bite and electroreception, the shrimp's eyes and rubber since you want to keep the visual changes a minimum, but having the remaining stuff on standby if needed. Is that right?
>>

It's Bo3 but I'm gonna let it slide this time. The only exception is if any of you get a nat 1 or d100, but if the roles between the other are like incredibly quick, I'm willing to consider it. It's a case on case basis.

>>4215763

Smiling at the news you give a thumbs up to Chisa. “Sounds perfect to me. Just keep your eyes on the show. I’ll live up to your expectations and then some.”

“I’ll keep you to that.” Chisa smiles, touching your shoulders as she leans over to whisper in your ear. “Anyway, there’s a changing room down to the left. Your exhibition match will be in an hour. We need to get the preparation ready and line up the remaining matches prior to this event. As for your little quirk concern, don’t worry about it. I already have taken care of it. Just give me a good show and I’ll show you what I mean.”

Before you could ask what the boss did exactly she already started walking away. Quickly blending into the crowd before disappearing entirely. Leaving you stumped on what just happened. Despite their abnormal tics, you could tell first hand that they were in fact highly skilled. Perhaps just as good if not better than Gang Orca. An opponent that you had to rely on using deception and turning his power against him to knock him out. A process that left you bedridden for a few days after pushing your limits and tolerating the pain to escape the city. In a straight fight, it was debatable if you could win.

Feeling goosebumps on your skin you start to make for a wide grin. This was exactly what you were looking for. A place where you could really let loose and test the limits of your strength without being inconvenienced by an outside party. Fighting heroes left and right did provide good training as your self-made style came from stealing what you can from heroes and imprinting it to your needs. Such was a natural progression for a fighting genius like yourself. In light of this, you still felt that you were running into a brick wall in how you could improve. That is until now as you take in your environment. It seems you found a real good replacement for heisting as a phantom thief.
>>
>>4216296

Taking the boss’s directions you quickly made your way into the locker rooms. Specifically, a private dressing room that required a card key. The very same key you found in one of your pockets on your way to the place. You figured that either Shinra or most likely Chisa was the one who slipped it into your breaker hoodie without noticing. Not that you were complaining since you took favorably to the privacy. Strapping the jacket off from your body, you were left in your sports bra and form-fitting compression tights. Nothing too flashy as you optimize on both quirk usage and fighting form given your combat sneakers.

Being someone whose quirk’s abilities often lead you shredding through your outfits, especially when going full integration, it left you picking stretchy, strong fabric, and adopting a less is more mentality. Going through the proper setup as you brace your body for what’s next, you firmly grasp the dresser by the sides. Like flexing your muscles you forcibly began calling out to organic matter that you have stored currently in your body. No matter how much you got used to it with your refined pain tolerance, it still was obnoxious for you.

First came the antennas as they were the easiest to manifest. Small stuff like shark’s teeth, mantis shrimp eyes, barely took any effort as they popped out rather quickly without pain. The closest that came to some discomfort was popping out the mandibles as it felt like pulling your jaw muscles. That and sprouting the matrix of tiny, hard, tooth-like structures called dermal denticles or sharkskin for simplification. A process that feels like grinding sandpaper through your skin. The real hurdle came next as you apply the more complex attributes such as the mantis shrimp’s exoskeleton, the hornet’s wings, spikes and stinger, and the shark fins.

A process which for the latter you ended up morphing your shark tail into a hybrid with the hornet’s stinger rather than having both sticking out simultaneously. Combining parts like the hornet’s multiple eyes and the shrimp’s arms including the saddle structure into your human parts was notoriously tedious. Transforming and fully implementing the characteristic of one target was instantaneous for you and generally didn’t result in any noticeable pains. A few exceptions like growing multiple arms to which was still doable.
>>
>>4216298

However, going full chimera with the four attributes brought forth a greater degree of pulsating jolts shocks as you endure the growing pains. Curse your body for having greater pain receptors to micromanage your energy output and other biological systems needed in handling your quirk’s powers and applications. Surprisingly enough having to grow an extra pair of arms wasn’t the most painful part of your transformation. It was the thick exoskeleton of both the mantis and hornet in your arsenal. It was a good thing you reinforce your tongue to handle your newly grown in shark teeth cause you were reduced to biting on your tongue, abusing the rubber aspect to tank the process.

Manifesting the full extent of what you integrated took a series of steps to do it right. Additional energy can be used to greatly speed up the process and skip steps but you rather save something like that for the last resort. Instead, you just toughen yourself as you go through the strenuous process of manifesting all of the stolen matter into your body. The mantis and hornet, in particular, took the most energy growing them in proportion to your humanoid body. Your quirk was tied deeply towards proportions so unless you have the right amount, the extra effort in filling the blanks came at the cost of zapping your reserves.

Thankfully for both, you robbed the required amount for all your stored matter to get by without exerting any more strength than normal going full chimera. In record time you brought yourself out of your painful transition feeling like you went through a serious workout. Stumbling a bit into a chair and letting out an exaggerated cry from the top of your lungs. Your words were a painted assortment of swears as the rubberization finally took hold, finishing the process, and completing your metamorphosis. All those rubber components you stored served to further improve your already impressive body.

Of course, while you didn’t appear it, your transformation has brought your density greatly shot up as it reaches roughly six hundred pounds. Having a highly advanced musculature and skeleton system was necessary for handling your quirk. Even during storage, your body was still heavier and denser than average. Leaving to a deceptive scaling as your body’s fibers are the source of your density, adopting a myostatin related muscle hypertrophy. Making your tissues a dozen times denser and more flexible than average to handle the integrations. Thus the need for heighten pain receptors and having an extremely high metabolism.
>>
>>4216302

Wiping the sweat off your face you begin to start sinking selective parts back into your body. The silver lining of full integration was that extension and retraction of your newly crafted physical traits took very little to do. In most cases anyway. Leaving yourself taking a deep breath as you suppress and contract the majority of your chimeric transformation. Only keeping out just your teeth, eyes, and rubberized body the only visible trait of chimerization. Of course, there was the shark tell as you kept up to consistency as you retract the hornet aspects from the tail. Pulling yourself out of the chair you took to have a long shower to relax as your stomach begins to growl immensely.

>inb4 failure would mean we'd nap after the transformation or it would be half baked
>>
>>4216333

Chimera Mode - Full Integration [work in progress] is a really powerful super move don't get me wrong, but getting it all set up takes a large portion of the effort. Since you're essentially reconstructing your body and making those newly formed traits proportionate to your body. A dog, for example, is easier to incorporate than a single ant by comparison.

So having fewer combinations for mode changes/single forms is a valuable strategy but this jack of all trade form still has its merits.

Also if my explanation wasn't clear enough, your physical form is basically Envy from Fullmetal Alchemist where you're far heavier/denser than you appear. As well as stronger/durable.

I'd guess our main weakness is the lack of formal education. I'm only guessing that we didn't learn much aside from survival after escaping the hospital those 4 years ago.

In terms of scientific knowledge we're probably dumb as a stump.
Not that we couldn't fix that with either time or a very precise application of our quirk.

Once again that familiar feeling came rushing through your body as you clean yourself off. You were hungry. Originally as a child doing little integrations here and there zapped you out of a large portion of your stamina. Full integration or amalgamation was far too time-consuming and stamina draining for you to warrant it. By the time you managed to make it manageable, it was deeply rooted in your stamina. Barely you could manage five minutes before automatic shutdown and forced separation. Here you now managing full 100% integration and perfect synchronization indefinitely.

At least with singular transformation. The more targets you fully integrate with the more taxing your fusions become. Currently, it’s possible for you to keep up Chimerafflesia Mode Full Integration (Kimerafureshia Mōdo - Kanzentōgō) to twenty-four consecutive hours without rest. After that your body completely shuts down, returning all characteristics of the other matter back into the hammerspace. Physical condition and/or Mental state also dictated your timelimit and overall performance. Then there’s taking into account the quality state of your stored characteristics.

Organic matter is exempt from this, but the non-living matter has a limit of resilience and sustainability. Even with your quirk enhancing the original source to be more than the sum of its parts, there’s only so much punishment and exertion it can withstand before exhaustion. At best it merely retreats into your storage to initiate a cooldown, and at worst it disintegrates entirely. Organic matter can regenerate and repair itself without the need to having to absorb more of the substance/materials that comprise it. However, in exchange, it was a battle for control as if you let your mind be overwhelmed by the primal instinct and impulses, it reverts you to a savage beast with no regard over anything but its own self-preservation and urges.

Therefore, you generally save your trump card for when you really need it. Instead, you choose to mainly rely on different combinations and single transformations to optimize and reach the maximum efficiency with negligible cost. In addition, you trained diligently to initiate your quirk on impulse. Reflexively and instantaneously, you mold yourself to the level of drawing full integration with remarkable intent and precision. As well as your refinery allowing for usage of the power, in short, controlled bursts for stamina and strength conservation along with limiting physical and mental stress.
>>
>>4217000

Even your current strongest form was refined for activation at conveniently brief periods without such exhausting costs it originally had. Just because you optimize yourself for better recovery and restoration rates it didn’t mean you were incapable of holding your own in stamina matches. Still, once you stepped out of the shower and put on your conveniently cleaned attire, you made your way back into a restaurant. Immediately upon arrival, you engorge yourself with anything you could find. Being raised in the wilderness and on the streets made you not a picky eater. Considering you even ate dirt and murky water to survive made any meal you received more precious than it has any right to be.

That said you weren’t exactly one for table manners as you wolfed down the foot. Practically eating for a small private zoo, you accumulate enough fuel to bring yourself back to peak condition. Which surprisingly took noticeably less than usual, but why risk it. Eating excessive amounts of food was normal even without having the majority of your slots as you ate for a whole family. Perhaps all of this was due to the accumulation-type your quirk was. From the abundant vitality to the ravenous hunger it seems that your quirk was quite the unusual high-maintenance arsenal.

Right at the crack of an hour, the stage starts to light up in a fiery spectacle. A single individual stands forward, basking in the glory of the ring was a spunky teal-colored female dressed in ringleader clothing. One would take her for some sort of idol rather than the referee. Nevertheless, she commanded respect as the audience riled up in their seats. Her name was Rie Tokiwara, despite the youthful appearance she was actually twenty-seven. Making it all the harder to comprehend why someone like her would be working in a place like this. Maybe there was something deeper here than you originally gave credit.

“Ladies and gentlemen, we’ve been having a blast with those two back to back matches. Sadly I’m afraid I’ve got to say that they were merely the opening act. And as we saw with them, our new combatants couldn’t handle the gold and silver brothers in that tag-team round. The same goes for Jaguar Man’s latest victim serving as an appetizer with that explosive display of jungle savagery that you know you come for. Tough break for those rookies looking to make themselves big. But that’s deemed the break in this center ring. You either rise like a shooting star or come crashing down like a burnt-out asteroid. Am I right?” Rie asks, enticing the crowd to the riddling of the fallen as the giant screen highlights each of those matches.
>>
>>4217002

“Now before we can go to the main event with our star combatants we got a little special treat for our anniversary. Today in after teen long years, we’ll be getting to see the old sage, the legend steps back into the arena for an exhibition match. “

“I know I know it’s a dream come but settle down. We got to bask in the euphoria of this moment and thank our challenger for setting up this rare moment. Speaking of, let’s give a round of applauds to our lam. Ms…” Twitching her ear a bitch, Rie kept her energetic poker face as she silently walks over to your location.

Leaning down to look at you from underneath the ring, Rie whispers into your ear. “Hey, what’s your Arena Name?”

“Luxana.” You reply. For someone who doesn’t actually have a real name, you were rather good at coming up with countless alias and fake names. Some even on the spot as this was one of those times.

Mumbling herself to a bit over the meaning, Rie zips right back into the arena with intense vigor as she points at you dramatically. “The boisterous beacon, Luxana. An upcoming newcomer with boundless potential and spirit.”

Once you were called you begin to climb your way into the arena in a timely fashion. Unsurprisingly not many people gave you any praise. Heck barely gave you a glance aside from some catcalls here and there. Not that it really bothered you. Your mind was far too focused on the fight itself to let the audience get to you. In your mind, you’ve already won by getting to fight an all-star off the bat. And you were going to make every second of it count.

“Now watch her take on the legend himself, the great silent fist from the underworld, Mr. Sendō.”

Upon her call, the audience turns their attention to where Shinra was. The silence began to fill the arena as everyone dart wildly trying to find him. Leaving Rie to keep her smile but sweat awkwardly at Shinra not being at his destinated spot. Instead, he was currently still at the bar currently getting himself another drink. It’s clear that he really didn’t want to do this by taking the piss out of everyone. Before things escalate further, Shinra finishes his drink upon seeing the daggered glare coming from Chisa at the top of the VIP room. With one lask whisk from the glass cup, the grey-haired man lets out a long sigh.
>>
>>4217003

Tapping his hand on the table his body suddenly shoots suddenly into the air. Legs crossed in an Indian sitting pose, Shinra casually jumps high over the club as he makes his way to the ceiling. Barely putting any effort into it, Shinra adjusts his body to land against the ceiling tiles Holding himself with his abdomen muscles and digging deep against the tiles, he manages to hang upside down like a bat. Jumping fifteen feet in the air from the bottom was no laughing manner but pulling off that martial art stunt was nothing short of absurd. In spite of that Shinra was doing it easily as he descends down with another powerful jump towards the cage.

Arriving into the ring with a flashy display of power and fitness, Shinra catches his fedora upon seeing it barely keep up with his movements. Walking down Letting out another sigh, he gave Rie the go-ahead to continue despite hijacking the show with his crazy antics.

Sweatings bullets over the fright that was given over the stunt, Rie quickly bounces back with a wide smile. “With both combatants in the ring, let’s commence the slaughter-fest~,” She says, walking out of the ring and stepping into the destinated spot.

Twisting his head back a bit, Shinra looks at the bright lights with a disappointed sigh. “Honestly, you have to be a complete and utter bonehead for picking a fight like this on your first day. You know I was actually kidding on having to school you on budo.” Shinra lectures you.

“Well, you probably should’ve thought that before rattling the shark tank. Besides, I’m one to rise up to the challenge and thrive in adversity.” You refute the old man, starting to hop to the side as you took a boxing stance.

“For your sake, you better not regret it. You don’t know just how deep in the pool you’re in, green tail.”

On the sound of the bell, the battle finally commences. Moving without a sound, Shinra starts to walk towards you casually. Keeping your eyes on high alert you watch his every step. With electroreception and the mantis shrimp eyes, you’re able to follow his every movement. As you look at him coming closer, the imagery of Shinra begins to blur. Rapidly alternating between fast and slow movements, the varying cadence of steps did well to mask his rhythm.
>>
>>4217009

The human vision wouldn’t be able to follow such moments, constantly moving outside of the average man’s range of vision and processing speed. The fluidity of motion and constantly changing speed gave the impression of flickering afterimages. Through fancy footwork and finesse through control of his motions, this illusionary sleight of hand trick’s secret was now within your memory. He really was telling the truth with his explanation, but hearing about it and actually seeing it was two completely different things. And yet, there was something else about these phantom movements that bother you.

The roll is for detecting his movement. There's more to be discovered. You know how he's doing the trick but there's something else unusual about his motion and electrical signs.

Basically it boils down to you if you want to commit to figuring out what or react while you still have the element of surprise.

With that, I'll tell you what's the secret in summary. It's his quirk Preflex in motion. You're going to learn that he effectively senses and perceives everything without the need of his brain and his body react/plans against it before it comes to fruition.

Preflex in this instance is a combination of two words. Precognitive Reflexes.

Anyway going to be writing rather shortly.
>>
>>4217303

Mhhh... me thinks we need to fry some nerves. Possibly temporarily. He doesn't use his brain, but still(quirk quirkiness aside) you need nerves to carry signal to move limbs.

He will probably beat us up now. And just when he thinks he won we will all go "i saw trought it!" And "I know your secret!" And hope for a good roll.

We have eletronics right? Can we become taser woman? We even have rubber so there shouldn't even be a possible backlash... but i don't know if we can do eletric hands on the fly...
>>
>>4217481

You have electronics to do tasering yes. Rubber insulation protects you from the backlash and it would take some serious conversation to pull off the electric shock.
>>
>>4217102
>>4217116
>>4217303

Choosing to trust your intuition you suppress your “safety switch” and cut yourself off from your instincts. Simultaneously pushing your kinetic vision further you begin to see things in greater detail. From the subtle shifts of the muscles, joints, and other manners of motion, all were within your observation. To the smallest of detail, which is a little overwhelming for you. Forcing you to filter out all but only the necessary information through the complex visual system. Combined with your electroreception gave you a detailed understanding of Shinra’s body. Fully optimized at his prime still at his age, you feel validated in choosing this path despite your instincts warning you of the impending danger.

Carefully observing what you can perceive in a pseudo-bullet time effect, the answers quickly came to you. The source of your concern was linked to the electrical stimuli. When people operate they first think before they move and react. As a result, the impulses govern by one’s thoughts have limits as to how fast they can travel through the nervous system. However, for Shinra, he was bypassing the hurdle that all living creatures deal with. A feat that fighters especially have to deal with due to needing to reading their enemy’s next move and devising the best assault. In front of you lies a man whose entire body is capable of thinking and acting without any input or command from the brain. Effectively allowing the subliminal to take over with its natural reaction.

Honed instincts to the point that he can adapt and respond to their surroundings before it comes to fruition. His senses and nerves must already be augmented through his quirk and/or thorough training to reach the level where his body is fully optimized to keep up perfectly without any effort. At first, you compared this quirk to auto-pilot but upon closer inspection, you know it to be far greater than that. Sensorimotor synchrony being the most likely answer as he didn’t appear unconscious, monotonous, or robotic in the slightest. It seems to have some sort of extrasensory sensory or further improvement one’s preflexes and reflexes to greatly influence one’s body position, balance, and motion (proprioception/orientation).
>>
>>4217704

As you think further about this you soon see Shinra stepping into your field of attack. Moving at a speed far greater than what you can muster, by comparison, you were rendered helpless at his impending assault. Delivering a series of punches in one swing, sixteen, in fact, each one hit at your weak spots with concussive impact and kinetic force. A single knuckle digs deep into your rubber exoskeleton, sending strong vibrations down to your very bones. Even with your reinforced defense you were having a hard time fully cushioning the powerful blows inflicted upon you. Each punch felt like a strong, hard bullet, but carrying enough finesse to convert the attack from external to internal to combat against your defenses.

“Khoff Khak Khak!!” You wheeze out, feeling a few of his punches disrupting your breathing as he took the wind right out of you. Nearly brought down to your knees you feel an immense weight metaphorically placed upon your shoulders. The fight has only just begun and already he has done substantial damage upon you even with your defenses. Yet you get the feeling that his punches were mere love taps.

Standing behind you, Shinra muses as he has his hands in his pocket. After punching you repeatedly he moved out of your line of fire before putting himself behind your back. You weren’t sure if he was pitying you or keeping a distance from colliding with your three-pronged defenses. His hands were tingling to an extent from brushing against your shark skin and rubber layers further improving it like the exoskeleton. In spite of this, he chose not to say a single word. No longer was he the joyous trickster as he adopted a more serious, detached mindset. One of complete tranquility as his mind, body, and spirit was all sound.

You grit your teeth, keeping your back turned from Shinra. You didn’t want to give it away that through electroreception that you could see his movements and adjust to them accordingly. At the same time, you still feel that impending weight trying to smother you. Having someone behind you like this would be enough to have you reflexively strike with your leg hinges much like a horse or donkey would kick whatever behind them. But once again you were suppressing those autonomous impulses to avoid drawing more attention. Like with Gang Orca it seems that you needed to play smart rather than rely on brute force to get you through.

Now, the question was how exactly were you going to get passed his advanced reflexes. In a term of speed, it was clear that Shinra has the advantage. Even in his old age and discounting his quirk, there was a clear gap between the two of you in optimization. A very big one. Then there was also the defining line between the two of you in terms of experiences. Decades worth of training and experience surges from the man. Hence why you feel this immense pressure. Be that as it may, you weren’t one to back down from a fight. The stronger the opponent, the greater you adapt and improve to rise to the challenge.

“Guh” You mutter, dropping to your knee after briefly fighting the urge to standing. Leaving the crowd to watch unsurprisingly at Shinra dominating the situation. Of course, the dapper gentleman continues to lay motionless. In terms of a stand-off its clear that Shinra would outlast you before impulses would kick in and force you to act.

Luckily he would be forced to act by an outside party as he looks at the stands. Letting out another sigh, Shinra turns his body, now facing for you and start to walk. Ever keeping his dead calm state he inched closer towards you. Each step sounding all the more agonizing with how silent the arena was. For this to work you commit yourself to play possum. Just how far did his reflexes go, could they be deceived, and if so can you capitalize on it to disable them temporally? All these and more crosses your mind as you fake looking wheezed out.

“You should stand down.” Shinra comments, reaching your hit range as he observes you. “No matter what you do, you won’t be able to touch me.”

Smiling softly to yourself, you twitch your hand in anticipation. Underneath your black bangs were the giant Asian hornet’s antennas. They were the key to your nefarious plan. Despite your body having a rubber constitution, it didn’t take away the fact your exoskeleton has a waxy surface that acts as an electrical insulator, making a charge isn't easily dissipated. The antennas meanwhile serve as your circuit, circulating and coursing the bio-electricity through your body and keeping it at your palm and fingertips. One-shot was all that you were going to get under the element of surprise.
>>
>>4218945

In the time that you were stalling your body was charging up the electrolytes inside your body. Using the same concept as to how bees flutter their wings to produce positive electrical charges, you were subtly vibrating your body. Choosing to do the second means of generating electricity by rubbing your body together, you buzzed constantly to generate strong electrical fields. This was the first time that you did something like this, but you knew that due to your quirk you can pull off anything the integrated matter can do naturally.

Taking a page from Gang Orca, you turn to strike at Shinra as fast as possible with the electrical discharge. “Don’t worry, I know exactly how to hit you. I know your secret!”

From your palm and fingertips, you unleashed a strong electric discharge from your body in the form of a concentrated wave. Catching everyone off guard by the sudden surge of electricity as it travels towards Shinra. Without even flinching, his body manages to contort itself to dodge the instant wave of electricity. Maneuvering your body with only just a light graze, Shinra spins towards you while still dodging the attack. Using the momentum of his spin, Shinra thrusts his elbow directly against your throat. Hitting with enough force and pressure to make you cough violently in a mix of blood and spit.

Unfortunately for Shinra, he could still feel the electrical discharge brushing across his elbow from making contact. Reframing him from continuing his next attacks. Pushing you back with his elbow strike, Shinra’s eyes stare at the lingering charge of electricity. Leaving you hacking on the floor, clinching your neck as you were now having trouble breathing. Sparks of electricity continue to admit from your body, causing Shinra to narrow his eyes ever so slightly.

“Still full of openings. You really don’t understand the importance of defense.” Shinra lectures.
>>
>>4218946

“No, I suppose I don’t. But that doesn’t change the fact that I saw it. And I wasn’t lying that I said that I know your secret. The truth of your quirk...it’s prescient, automatic reflexes. In other words, you can sense and react far greater than anyone else. I don’t know if it’s by seeing my movement, utilizing water molecules, sound, electric, heat, or vibration waves. The energy sources from my body, body language, motions, or any other form of telling my body gives. I do know that you can sense the slightest of changes, and use some form of danger sense or awareness to perceive my actions and counteract them instantly.” You manage to say, sounding raspy and husky as you still hold your throat.

Knowing that you could only speak loud enough for him to hear it, Shinra begins to laugh to himself. “A good educated guess. While you’re not completely wrong as all of that is certainly within my potential range to sense if I wanted to, but to tell the truth. My overall awareness far exceeds such a scientific breakdown of my quirk. Still, in those two clashes, you already have a good understanding of the basis of my quirk. If nothing else, you’re talented. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have made a four-layer defense to try and mitigate my attacks.”

“Before you get the chance to understand the full extent of my awareness, I’m going to overwhelm you completely and thoroughly. If you don’t want to fall apart, I’d advise you to dodge.” Shinra warns. His body moving into a running stance. He was dead serious about his declaration.

“Sorry...even if I want to, I’d doubt I’d be able to dodge. And I have a really bad habit of not listening to adults.”You brazenly remark in a tongue and cheek taunt. Nearly hacking into an awkward laugh you try to stand back on you two feet.

Acknowledging your stand as youthful dumbassery, Shinra still cracks a smile before cracking his hands. Afterward, he lungs himself forward with impressive speed. Bolting towards your location, you exert as much strength inside of you to rebuild your defenses. Perhaps he did have a point about learning how to properly guard yourself and mitigate those openings. Too little too late for such realization as you feel the first punch coming clean across your face. Sending a sharp jolt down your face, pain receptors let out an aching throb while exerting the electrical current upon contact.

Met with the same results as before with slight tingles on his fist, Shinra commits himself to pummel you. If the gentleman continues to be careful he could ultimately avoid the stunning effect of your electrical current. In exchange, it would give you too much time to recover and adjust to his movements and patterns to make counter moves. So to avoid losing his control of the battle, Shina starts throwing a barrage of bullet punches. Hitting at each of your weak spots and openings you was hit with waves of concussion force, transferring the kinetic energy through his palms as he resorts to soft technique.

With tremendous force and ferocious speeds Shinra tears through your defenses with his assortment of blows. He was keeping his promise of overwhelming you. In fact, you almost think that he was trying to brutalize you with how hard and fast he continues pounding into you. Of course in his defense, if he didn’t put this much effort you wouldn’t really be feeling these consistent blows at the level he desires with your multilayer defenses. Even so, you whether yourself through the blows, one by one. Each strike may be coming close to causing your defenses to crumble and break, but you wouldn’t let yourself drop.
>>
>>4219181

Almost immediately you exert your vitality and concertation to maintaining your defenses. Repairing the damages to your rubberized shark skin and waxy thick exoskeleton. Each time he tore down your defenses you continue rebuilding them from scratch. Learning to protect the one hundred and eight vital points of the human body, especially the centerline. Enduring his blows also informed you that Shinra’s style was Wing Chun Kung Fu and Shaolin Boxing. Further painting the gentleman as one of those old wise masters in those kung fu movies. All joking aside there was serious merit in enduring the onslaught.

Slowly learning how to shift the blow to take some of the force out of it, making sure they hit the spots you want them to hit, practically all of the necessary tactics/skills for being a successful tank was thoroughly beaten into you. In exchange, you feel Shinra’s body slowing down and becoming more rigid and stiff instead of the fluid motions and lightning-fast agility it once carried. Bit by bit his performance was lessening as you gradually wore Shinra down. Already you more than last the five-minute mark as this essentially turned into an endurance game.

The crowd that once didn’t bat an eye began to slowly start to respect and acknowledge you. If nothing else you proved just how tenacious you are by enduring the beatdown for so long without falling down. Of course, you feel satisfaction that the untouchable Shinra was dropping himself down to your skill level. And it only took you being pushed to the limits of your resilence. Every part of your body was aching to the point of becoming numb. Only willpower was keeping you in as your mind starts to drift. By the time Shinra real back out of paralysis, you was made black, blue, and red all over.

In your flittering out between consciousness and unconsciousness from the pain, your mind starts to think back to the past. Flashing back to your childhood leads you to a scene of you inside your father’s office. Having sneak right in and discovering where the picture is located, your crimson eyes dart towards a couple of sheets. Out of curiosity after seeing your grandma who left you starstruck by her heroic appearance, you took the letter out of the dresser drawer. Looking through the letter you start to read it yourself as to one day recite to your little brother next time you got the chance.
>>
>>4219182

“Dear Kotarou, my precious son. If you are reading this letter then you must have already realized that I am not here currently with you. I’m really sorry for leaving you all of a sudden. As you know, your mommy is a really strong superheroine. But even with my Quirk Float and my abundant fountains of physical might and vigor, I don’t think I can continue keeping you safe while doing my role of protecting people.

I’ve been entrusted with a special role by my predecessor. That role comes with a lot of responsibilities. Responsibilities that I’ve managed to balanced well with my general life, including birthing and raising you. I’ve honestly wished that I could continue being right beside you. Until the very end where you have your own family and be successful in whatever you set yourself out to do. But life doesn’t always happen as we hoped.

And in the end, I have to choose to secure your future and everyone’s else by fully committing to my responsibilities. In order to protect you, this was the only option that I have. Your mother has to fight with some really bad guys from now on. Bad guys that would do anything for their ambitions, including hurt you to get to me. So for your sake, and to prevent the possibility of such a bleak future from happening, I have to distance myself from you without saying goodbye. In all of my years being alive, you have always been my greatest bundle of joy. My little beacon of light.

Being unable to be a good mother and leaving you may perhaps be my greatest regret. Even so, I can’t abandon those who need my help for my selfish wishes. That’s why I have to do this. To ensure a bright and good future for you and everyone. You might not understand and you may even come to hate me, you have every right to. Just know that no matter what, your mother will always love you.

I’m sorry Kotarou. I’m not asking you to forgive me or to understand. Just that I hope and pray that you can live on, always happy and smiling even through the bad times. I’ll always be with you in spirit. Watching over you from above.

Love Nana.”
>>
>>4219187

Driven to the point of tears you found yourself hugging the letter tightly with the picture. Although you didn’t fully understand what the letter conveyed, you were able to still put together just how much your grandma care and loved her son. As well as how much she wanted to protect others and ensure them a shining future. It was at this point you committed in your heart to follow your grandma’s legacy. With newfound courage and reassurance, you were ready to head to your little brother Tenko and tell him the news.

That was the last thing you recall before the scene ends abruptly. ...Nana...Tenko... Two names that echo deep within your subconscious as it bubbles up into the surface. Remembering the letter you read in the past alongside having the picture of your grandma opened another door in the depths of your heart. A door that long since been closed ever since the faithful day of your escape. A door that was implanted on to you from the moment you defied your fate and refused to break apart. Putting yourself together, gathering, and lining up all the pieces, not leaving anything behind in the process.

The foggy memories rumbling deep in the abyss. Essentially resembling that of dreams whenever you relive them. A scattered dream that’s like a far-off memory and vice versa. To you, they were the only proof you had to who are you. No, who you used to be before the incident. Even then, it was hard for you to triggering those lost memories and bringing them back into life. Even so, without even knowing the full extent of those bonds, you know that the people in your mind was exceptionally vital to you.

Rising back to the surface your consciousness drips back into the outside world. Standing in place you see yourself surrounded with crackling, blackish-red energy that resembles lightning bolts. Subconsciously this manifestation was suppressed by your will, lying dormant within the depths of your core in peace. However, being pushed to this extent as you were backed into a corner brought forth its reassurance. This rampant surge of energy instinctively draws another memory. A quick one as it came to you in cryptic code.

Eight containment constraints, seven slots, mutated quirk factor, strengthened integration. The rest was all jumbled up and hard to decipher on the first viewing. The only other thing that was there was two important names. The first you saw was a codename labeled as “Eternity Eight”. As for the second, it was a single name but deep down you knew it related to the swirling black energy from the depths of the void currently inside of you.

“...All for one…” you mutter in quiet whisper. Eyes fluttering as you adjust to the sudden surge of power.

To the audience, they were left in a constate state of silence. As if they know what’s coming and it’s leaving them shivering from the bottom of their heart. Even Shinra was giving a stern, straightforward stare at your body. Knowing full well despite delivering hundreds among hundreds of blows, you still refused to go down. In his heyday, that kind of firepower would’ve rendered just about anyone regardless of stature down. Yet in the present, it was obvious that something was keeping you from blacking out.

Perhaps it was due to that impending danger that you endured that brought forth that should be lying in slumber. A power that was alienating to you yet somehow manages to intergrade itself to a stage that was sincerely compatible for you. Slowly cultivating itself as it stockpiles strength for the past five years. Swelling up until that core essence reached a stage where it could fully integrate itself into your being. A power that seemingly came out of nowhere was certainly a nerve-wracking predicament. For you, it was far from the truth.

Deep down you always knew about this hidden power. Like your own shadow, it was looming over you every step you took. Lying in the darkness, waiting patiently for the faithful day. Today was going to be that day at long last. No longer fluctuating erratically at random points during your young childhood, it was currently stable. And with stability came forth utility. Without anyone telling you how to use it, your mind starts already incorporating it into your own quirk. There were many things that you wanted to question and theorize but that can wait. Right now, you felt the burning desire to become one with your inner beast.

“..Look at that. I didn’t hear the bell. So that means...I still got a shot. And I’m already getting my second wind.” You smile dastardly, revealing slit cat-like eyes as you embark onto a more primal stage.
>>
>>4219473

On impulse, your body quickly sprung with an explosive pulse. Previously you were holding on this trump card in case you may one day need it in the club. At this point in the game, you didn’t care about keeping things secretive. You got yourself a new toy and you wanted to take it out for a test drive. Responding to your will your body quickly went into overdrive. Crackling bolts of red electricity with black tints surges wildly around your body. Swelling up with great intensity as your body soon did a swelling of its own.

In this case, you were becoming bulker, tougher, stronger, and more beast-like. As a result of foregoing suppressing and containing the characteristics of your stored targets aside from a selective few attributes, your whole body starts to resemble a chimera. The attributes of the giant Asian hornet, the rainbow mantis shrimp, and the Japanese swellshark all came into the surface. Amalgamating itself to truly create a hulking figure governing the sky and the sea. Full of thick muscles and thick plating of shells and exoskeleton left you appearing noticeably swole. Arms were covered in clamps and your lower face using your mandibles as a protective mask.

Standing about three meters and eight hundred and sixty-one kilograms of densely compacted natural thick defenses brought forth a terrifying juggernaut. Miraculously your clothing perfectly holding together despite your sudden growth should’ve easily ripped itself apart. Instead, it merely accommodated and fit your new form perfectly. Questions for later as you gear your mantis shrimp incorporated arms for battle. Everyone was rendered speechless by the display of bestial juggernaut terror. Shinra, on the other hand, glances to his arm, noticing that it along with the rest of his body still weakened by the stunning effect.

“It’s going to be one of those days ain’t it.” Shinra sighs.

>Charge right in and pay Shinra back in full with your barrage of mantis punches

You feel something, not quite sure what exactly. Regret, for turning away from your original virtue to adopt a vice deeply rooted in hedonism? Thrill, from the arousing power, coursing through you? Relief, knowing that deep down you weren’t a complete scumbag as you dive into serenity? Comfort, finding exactly what you were secretly longing for with this fight? Closure.

All of the above. Hitting you from all sides simultaneously, leaving you to feel a liberating rush of excitement. It’s exhilarating beyond words. You roar as strongly as you can. Distorting the area around you from the vibrant vibration and sonic waves pounding at top volume. What came out of you was not that of a fifteen year old girl. No, what you utter was the vocal cords of a primitive beast long since forgotten. The sleeping lion has at long last awakened, and it was doing so with a vengeance as your rippling muscles and thick hide quiver in anticipation.

The audience continues to watch with bated breath. The spectacle that was at best a mock battle of what made Sendo the legend was turning into a true match befitting the thirty-seventh anniversary. It got the blood flowing as the crowd was riddle with a rush of adrenaline. Nobody, however, was pumped with it more than you. You battered and bruised body oozes with newfound vigor. Skin pulsating rapidly as your body tenses and goes into oscillation. Leaving Shinra feeling the tension as his attempt of trying to teach you a valued lesson by bringing himself down to your level was backfiring on him.

“Chisa, did you plan this?” Shinra asks, hitting his pop collar to speak into an intercom with the boss.

“Honestly I’m just as surprised as you. But I’m not exactly complaining since the kid long since kept to her promise of lasting for more than five minutes. Giving us one hell of a show.” Chisa blinks, soon forming a smug smile.

“Of course you would find enjoyment in this.” Shinra sighs, pinching his eyebrows over the absurdity. “For the remainder of my life, you can’t complain about my vices negatively impacting the club for getting me wrapped into this. And covering my medical bills.”

“I’ll accept that concession. Try to make your dance with the devil entertaining.”
>>
>>4220960

Before he could quip at Chisa’s morbid humor you let out another ear-piercing roar. Shaking the entire arena, you quickly kneel down. Contracting your beefy leg muscles, causing them to bulge noticeably, you bolt towards Shinra like a rampaging bull. Tongue sticking out wildly as you prance, you quickly close the gap between Shinra. Trying to take his usual motion, Shinra’s body let out a painful shock as he was still paralyzed. Unable to display the same kind of flawless flowmotion as before, Shinra took a defensive stance. Ensuring that all of his weak spots were perfectly guarded as he braces for your impending rampage. Raising your right fist, contracting the arm muscles, causing them to bulge like your leg you clench your fist.

Going for the hard technique of budo otherwise called martial arts, you deliver a crushing punch against Shinra’s body. Hitting with the same properties as the mantis shrimp, you deliver a powerful concussive blow. Compared to a .22 caliber bullet proportionate to your fist, those spring-loaded arms made it rather easy for you to deliver the bullet barrages. Especially with your arms recoiling and setting up for the next springing punch in record time. Effectively hitting him with the same kind of punches that a certain person was known for, you continue your onslaught of relentless punches. Dodging these fast pace punches would be considered a fair workout for Shinra, but at his current stage, he could only keep his guard.

Miraculously Shinra kept himself from breaking apart at the seams, parts of him bending from the raw impact produced by the speed and mass of the bullet-like punches. Avoiding dislocation was the least of his concerns as Shinra was reduced to the defenses. All he can do at this point was to take the damages inflicted upon him and bid his time. The paralyzing effect was only temporally as enduring those blows was giving a real wake up call to his muscles. But utilizing your blows to blow away the paralysis was a double edge sword. Just like you, he would be rendered beaten and bruised as you fully paid him back in full for his attack. Even so, a faint glow admits from his eyes as ready himself.

>>4221085

Pummeling at him for as long as he did to you if not longer certainly cemented that the old geezer was notoriously sturdy. While not to the extent of your four-way multilayer combo of thick rubber coating, rough sharkskin, dense chitin shell, and waxy exoskeleton it is shown that his body was exceptionally trained. His muscles felt like hiding armor plating tractor tires. Still, a far outcry compared to your combined defenses. Nevertheless, you were able to greatly dwindle Shinra’s overall efficiency with your paralysis combo. He was certainly hurting with the amount of punishment you force him to endure.

Effectively leveling the playing field as the two of you were now on the same page. All it took was a few more serious, concentrated blows to knock either one of you out. If you focused your stamina and vitality into healing it would zap away the strength needed to maintain your hulking behemoth form. Although you could theoretically split the process of maintaining your form and healing into two tasks, it would still impact negatively on your combat prowess. Having lower efficiency against Shinra was far more dangerous than choosing to fight with your current injuries. Exchanging blows with him taught you that much.

So if a slugfest between the two of you was dangerous, then its only natural that committing to improving your odds for victory was ideal. And what better way to ensure your chance than with a simple grapple. Thrusting your hands into another series of punches, you waited until you were close enough to break out into a sudden grapple.

Arching forward strikingly, Shinra was getting his motions back into order. Reaching that perfect timing, his body suddenly burst into that previous untouchable state. With a fluid brush of his hands, Shinra deflects your hands from making contact and putting himself directly towards your chest. Aiming to thrust another strong palm thrust to your chest, he delivers a quaking blow into your respiratory system. As he did this however you merely stress press through, snapping your arms back in place, triggering a swift grapple around Shinra. Coughing up blood you could only smile now that you have gotten your prize.
>>
>>4221185

With Shinra now secure you start to embark upwards into the sky. Taking off with the use of your giant hornet wings you fly high into the ground. Maintaining your ascending altitude you keep your reserved stamina by reframing from flying at full strength. With Eeectroreception, you could see the invisible energy barrier that served as a way to keep the quirks from interacting with the audience or let certain quirks like flight dominate the fighting rings. In light of this, you manage to reach a high enough altitude to move into your next plan. Letting gravity handle this with a sure fired powerbomb from this height would be just enough to end it. Or you assumed.

In response to this, Shinra starts to dislocate his shoulder. Allowing for just enough wiggle room for him to slide out of your grapple lickety-split. Before you had time to react, the nimble old gentleman slides off your body, shooting upwards onto landing upon your back. Relocating his shoulder with precise thrusts, Shinra follows his abrupt rodeo trick by grabbing at your neck. Wrapping his arms tightly, Shinra makes a rather impressive submission lock via chokehold. Leaving you who was already suffering hard trying to breath gasping violently in response.

The impending powerbomb that was intended for Shinra has now instead turned into the instrument of your destruction. One wrong move could send you to come crashing down in a violent drop. Wings fluttering slowly in an attempt to fight against the impending fall of one’s descend. Optimistically it was struggling to keep you airborne and hovering high above the arena. In reality, it was achieving a slowdown as it halts your speed of descent. However, its buzzing motion was weakening by seconds.

Either you were going to fall down hard against the arena or you were going to fall into unconsciousness from suffocation, and then come crashing down on the dense surface. Both options were rather not appealing to you if you have to be honest. But when dealing with his vice grip submission hold, taking full advantage of your bulking size to avoid your impending strikes it wasn’t really a matter of choice.

And with that, we reached our consensus. Now make a d100

Do well enough and your swellshark characteristics may end up going pseudo-Gigantification quirk with its growth trait.

>When the shark feels threatened, it will bend its body into a U–shape, grab its tail fin with its mouth, and suck in water. Doing so causes the shark to enlarge in diameter and makes it much harder for predators to bite or dislodge. Increasing their girth by a factor of one to three. The swell shark is capable of swelling by using water or air, which is stored in the stomach until released. When letting air out, the swell shark makes a dog-like bark. swell sharks are non-aggressive and are considered harmless to humans

The dice just want you to keep making Shinra's day worse and style on Mt. Lady.

>>
>>4221313

After this, we're definitely going to need a break from fighting to properly recover.

I just hope that the fight club has a few healing quirks available.

Left with little options you start to open your mouth. Letting out an air suction sound, you pull all the surrounding air around you. Drawing with enough force of a small, concentrated vacuum your lungs and abdomen begin to expand to take in all the air. Leaving Shinra confused in the act, you continue to suck as much air that you can get into. To the outside crowd one generally thought this act was one last attempt at defiance to the suffocating that was to befall upon you. However, there was a method to the madness that foretold. In between your Mantis Shrimp, the Giant Hornet, and the rubber collection, there was one more element. Perhaps the real MVP of this entire fight, a member of the catshark family tree, the Japanese Swellshark.

In addition to the general abilities that sharks have, the swellshark carries three specific abilities. Biofluorescent, camouflage, and growth. Choosing the third option your body starts to blow up like an inner tube. The average swellshark can swell up to a faction of three times its normal size. Something that you who stood currently at three meters made for a rather potent cheat into gigantification albeit of a minor variant with your max limit being thirty feet. That is if there weren’t two additional factors that augment this otherwise curious ability. That being your rubberized body properties and the body layering conditioning further reinforcing your body.

Utilizing the defense mechanism bestows upon you, your throat expands dramatically as your body soon follows. The sudden force of your growth was enough to force Shinra to break his chokehold. Thanks to the knockback Shinra forces himself to jump off from your body. Turning on a dime the old martial arts master lands safely on one of the poles of the cage. Now watching with the rest of the crowd Shinra bare witness to your sudden swelling escalating abruptly. Inflating like a balloon while gaining mass to accommodate your growing size, your body starts to proportionate your growth in rapid motion.

By some miracle, as you continue growing your articles of clothing manages to hold itself together during your ascend to a giantess. Although you freed yourself from the chokehold you continued sucking up more and more air, furthering your growth as you were about to pass the standard limit. Taking up a giant portion of the arena, the audience was feeling a mixture of emotions at your continuous growth. Shinra, on the other hand, was doing his best to avoid being squashed like a bug.

Before you could continue in your constant rise to growth, a sharp pain starts to dig deep into your body. The fibers of your clothing abruptly coming to life as it wraps around your limbs. Rendering you immobile while maintaining your mid-air flight, your eyes dart in confusion at why now of all times your clothing advertently chose to act like a straightjacket. On closer inspection, you would see bundles of flesh mixed with your clothing. Acting like an organic fabric it begins to dawn at you exactly why your clothing was fully intact as you descend down to the ground.

Stomping angrily from her safe spot comes the announcer Rie Tokiwara, currently fuming in rage as she confronts you. “Are you trying to bring the house down?! Our fight club adjusts to the battles accordingly based on our combatants to keep things exciting while remaining within the realm of the rules. You were already testing grounds with your flight stunt that we got the barrier up in time. But pulling a stunt like this?! What kind of reckless jackass are you! “ Rie shouts, her voice echoing through the stadium by the microphone.

“Took the words right out of my mouth. Chisa should be paying me for putting up with this.” Shinra retorts, folding his arm as he was by the bleachers getting some booze by his adoring fans. “Mr. Miyagi didn’t have to deal with his Daniel-san growing nearly thirty feet just to win their first fight.” As he was contemplating throwing in the towel, Shinra saw Chisa walking down the stands, hands holding a gripping pose to continue restraining you.

“Now, now. Don’t be a spoilsport when we have gotten to pinnacle of the climax. I won’t let you consider quitting now that the betting table has skyrocketed ever since her turn around.” Chisa says, taking the booze from his hand.

Turning her direction to you, Chisa gives a sharp glance before raising the microphone. “The Underground Fight Arena, a stadium built many decades based around the Stadium of Domitian, specifically how the people of Rome built the Piazza Navona over the interior arena. Although this is private property owned by the Busujima family. Most people don’t know about this location as the name suggest, it’s literally underground. Reinforced with the best money and quirk work can provide. Of course, since we live in a superhuman society we’ve taken into account the various potential quirk fights that may happen on these grounds. Including the oddly common gigantification quirk.”

“While we normally keep the octagon ring around the usual standard of a general Mixed Martial Arts arena, it’s fully moldable to adapt to the fights on a moment’s notice. Rarely though have I seen a combatant change our ring standards to this extent. If you weren’t given us such a good show with your antics, I’d be absolutely livid by such chaos kid.” Empathizing on that last word, Chisa gave a dangerous glare despite her relaxed expression. If looks could kill then this would be enough to make your heart explode from the animosity. Considering your antics, she was every bit in her right to be upset.

“For the future, I’d advise you being straight with us, especially me on what you can do with your quirk so we can properly adjust ahead of time. This area may be buried over four hundred feet underground like the subterranean auditorium known as Gjøvik Olympic Cavern Hall. But even so, do try to be mindful of how you use your quirk. I’d doubt you’ll grow big enough to actually hit the ceiling, but it’s certainly troublesome having to move the arena down into the lower levels on the fly to incorporate a gigantification fight. We like being at the upper levels to stay close to our other faculties and stands.”

“You’re right. I’m sorry.” You lament in reflection, bowing as much as you could at your current size.

“Good, so now that you know we can go back to the fight. I already have my medical team on standby based on the back and forth brutal beatdown earlier. So feel free to continue being reckless. But do try not to kill the combatant. Not that I think you could, but with how things been escalating, it’s best not to take any more chances with this wildcard.” Smiling at you, Chisa snaps her finger as the underground floor starts to drop. The arena meanwhile starts to transform as it was transitioning into it’s “Kaiju Battle Mode”.

Now left in a rather spacious room at the lower chambers of the underground arena, you feel the bonds of your clothing releasing. Returning your freedom of movement as you look up to see Chisa from the stands. Without saying a word you’ve already got the okay to go all out. Leaving Shinra upset with Chisa over having to fight a jumbo juggernaut. To you glee, you push yourself to reach your max size of twenty-two meters. You were already pushing your body tremendously with this stunt, any more would further have negative ramifications on you. Well, more than you were already collecting in debt.
