>You are an eldritch horror from another dimension, one of many. Your goal is to be summoned in full and prevent other eldritch horrors from being summoned in full or to destroy them when they arrive. The last eldritch horror (or team of aligned, bonded horrors) on earth wins.
>Before you are summoned, you can only use your powers to a limited extent and have to rely on cultists to act. Cultists are mortals that you've appeared to in their dreams or have been brainwashed by other cultists. Most are incompetent but they try. Some very much are competent. The same about both can be said for your opposition.
>Inquisitors are the opposite of cultists, mortals that you've pissed off and will try to interrupt your plans.
>The summoning ritual requires an Orb of Crystalline Perfection (artifact from before time, only five currently exist), dragon blood (nectar from a rare plant, or the actual blood of a true, fully fledged, original dragon), and a geometrically perfect summoning circle spelling out "Welcome To Earth [Insert-Name]" in your native language, which only you and your cultists know.
>You have 3 personal actions every turn, INCLUDING the command of cultists. You must roll 20d100 with each post. The first 3 dice determine the results of your actions.

This game is inspired by the story "The Call of Cthulhu" by H. P. Lovecraft.

CHARACTER CREATION

Only the players from the previous thread can create their own character (except those who left). New players can play the shared character Kek (see below).

>Name: This can be anything, titles included.
>Player Name: Your real name, so we know who's playing even when you change character.
>Appearance: What you look like. You don't have to be an eldritch abomination. Dark gods, high-tech aliens, evil wizards, anything is good as long as it's supernatural and trying to reach earth from another dimension. This also determines how your physique manifests itself.
>Homeworld: Where you're from, what it's like, and maybe why you want to leave it for earth. Does not have to be an actual planet.

Every eldritch horror has 5 stats and 6 points to spend between them (minimum -3, maximum +7). Please spell out the Mythic Rank of each stat (refer to the pic).

>Power: How strong your abilities are. This increases massively when you're summoned.
>Physique: How strong and durable your physical form is. This is important when you're summoned but a non-factor early on. How this manifests is determined by your Appearance.
>Presence: How much the world around you twists and warps. The higher it is the stronger your effects on the world around you are when you're summoned.
>Mindlock: Less affected by other horrors' power, pretty important unless you want someone else to be king horror.
>Appeal: How much mortals like you. This makes it easier to get cultists and reduces humanity's hostility when you're summoned.

>Powers: What you can do as an eldritch horror. You can have up to 5 and be anything (summoning demons, causing earthquakes, whatever) but boosting your own stats.

NEW RULES
We are going to use Mythic RPG for this thread. This will allow for weighted dice, i.e. your strategy will have a greatest impact on the outcome of your actions. Random events will also be introduced, following the rules of Mythic.

>Post with your character name.
>Choose your starting city and nation.
>Every 10 turns, the Chaos Level will increase by one.
>The thread ends in two weeks. If there's no clear winner, it's a tie.

Name: Readryth Bardeinam Qerel.
>Appearance:
Readryth is a six armed dark moss colored scaled creature with a lower-body of a snake, has a small pair of wings(size of a small bird). Taller than most humans.(can change clothes(is a quarter dragon)) wears Gambler hat and duster coat.
>Homeworld:
He lived on a Midwestern era earth-like planet with his "brothers" gang, until a rival gang forcibly transported his brother and then him to another dimension. He's here and his brother is God knows where.
>Powers:
Deadeye}: Allows Readryth to see time in a slowed state and helps pick out enemies weak points. And after a lot of hard work cultist can do it too (Drastically increased shooting ability)

{A key to a better you}: Allows Readryth cultists to unlock their inner potential (after a lot of hard work. Or a big event happening in their lives) allowing them to summon their "inner you". And that allows them to......... Well it depends on the person, might be completely useless, who knows.(like Raedryth ghost but harder to get and has the possibility to be more powerful) basically JJBA stands

{Readryth friends}: after a long time of Readryth and a cultist getting to know each other and working together. The cultist gets a large portion of Readryth power and becomes fully like Readryth's species. (Albeit might have different colored scales and be bigger or smaller wings and body(can be used on multiple cultists))

{Readryth "breath"}: Readryth can imbue his attacks with the elements like fire, poison, plasma, etc.

{Fastest draw in the dimension}: Readryth draw his firearm faster than the human eye can see. And nearly never miss.

Cultist rolls: 15, 16 = 31
Inquisitor roll: 51

You create new, more elaborate dream of darkness. You show the dreamers a bleak vision of future London, where your Dark Plague has been spreading for months. Cops are overwhelmed and getting slaughtered and devored alive by creatures of shadow. Your visions are very appealing to the Goth community of London, and a few Goths become your new cultists. When some of the cops wake up and discuss their dreams at the coffee machine, they realize that they've all had the same dream. At first, they believe it to be impossible. Yet, they cannot deny that it happened. They form a loosely organized counter-terrorist unit to investigate the situation.

You create new dreams of madness, this time targetting the dream of people suffering from schizophrenia and bipolar syndrome. Certainly, the St Mary Bethlehem asylum is getting quite a lot of new customers, thanks to your actions. However, the so-called crazy people are finding a figure of hope in you. At night, some are even tagging circles on the walls of London, as a symbol of you. A mad man screams at the city corner all day: "THE PROPHECIES ARE RIGHT! THE SPHERE IS COMING! Archeologists are particularly easy to influence. You show them more visions of the ancient times, and promise to show more. The equivalent of entire lifetimes of work can be shown in seconds. Some of them become addicted to your dreams, waiting to see more, ready to sell wives and children just to get more.
The botanists, however, are particularly indifferent, and quickly forget you.
City officials are also easily seduced by the visions that you show them; the Copts are not the only community to dream of power, and of gaining more power. They understand that you are the First Pharaoh, and truly, the only legitimate power in Egypt, until the end of times.

You continue to use the same dreams. It is a bit less effective than last time, but you recruit 10 more cultists.

You train all of them in your dream ranch by shooting various aliens of all forms. They learn to instinctively find the weak points in their target, not intellectually, but by following their instinct and opening up to your powers. They learn that they are more powerful when they are thinking about you, their beloved gang leader.

All of this dream training is good. But in the real world, most of your recruits are incompetent city dwellers, and they fail to find an appropriate homebase.

A: Yes
Cultist roll: 6

A group of your cultists finds an abandoned brothel in west london. The place is bad, rotten, and the front windows are broken. That makes it a lovely place to them. They find a drug addict asleep on the first floor, and burn him alive, just for fun. His cries resonate as far as your dimension.

Another group tries to spread the good word. A few people are interested, in the same way they'd be interested in dark, song lyrics, but no one is cultist material.

Thus, you invade the dreams of more people. You do not show them your home dimension, which is way too scary and lonely to humans. No, you show them the Plane of Shadow, which is a bridge between your world and their world, a dark and corrupted version of their material dimension. You show them the shadow-tainted inhabitants of the plane, the superior powers they possess over other mortals, their exquisite magic and physical perfection. Who better than a god to show them a godlike existence.

An MMA fighter

Q: Can FA cast Warp Zone on London?
Power: Superhuman
Difficulty: Incredible (this is bigger than the area he'd roll in last threat with a critical hit)
Roll: 51
A: Yes

[IMPRINT] You turn one of your crazed cultist, a semi-professional MMA fighter by the name of Alfie Clarke, into an avatar of madness. He becomes very smart and begins questioning his existence.

[IMPRINT] Your power, however, is exhausted, and you are unable to imprint anyone else properly.

[WARP ZONE] You curse the entire city of London. Everyone becomes crazy, including all of Gob's cultists. Part of the buildings become affected by the energy of chaos: some merge together, other duplicate, and many people get stuck in the middle of brick walls, screaming madly. A cat lady merges with her 10 cats, becoming a monstrous, hybrid creature. One particular house becomes a tower, by duplicating and stacking its copies above itself. A national emergency is declared and NATO deploys its air force.

Q: Can his cultists spread the word?
Cultist Rank: Low

Rolls: 48, 69
A: No, No

The officials push a policy of restoration of the pyramids. They hit a brick wall when confronted to Graham Hancock's pseudo New Age cult. Graham Hancock is a CIA shill who has a strong focus on not letting anyone investigate or touch the pyramids; backed by the Egyptian army. He has written many books and gathered a modest following, some of them who are frenetic cultists. He even dared write that the pyramids are only 10,000 years old. His cult becomes aware of the "First Pharaoh" and rejects its existence, claiming that the pyramids belong to the New Pharaoh, Graham Hancock, and no one else.

Meanwhile, your cultists are trying to spread the good word in the Coptic community. But it fails badly. They are declared heretics and ostracized. The people who have not seen the good dreams cannot understand your glory.

And that allows them to......... Well it depends on the person, might be completely useless, who knows.(like Raedryth ghost but harder to get and has the possibility to be more powerful) basically JJBA stands

{Readryth friends}: after a long time of Readryth and a cultist getting to know each other and working together. (Albeit might have different colored scales and be bigger or smaller wings and body(can be used on multiple cultists))

[Deadeye] The cultists complete their training in the dream ranch. They become incredibly powerful, for humans, that is.

Recruiting gun engineers is not as easy as it seems. They tend to be very rational, and do not care about their dreams too much.

A few cultists sell their own house to buy together a nice ranch, just outside of Houston. They do their best to recreate the dream environment, and build a humble statue in your honor.

You send dreams to the Muslims of Cairo, showing the prophet Mohammed to be a descendant of the First Pharaoh, and that Islam was your own design. While untrue, it is effective to brainwash them and convert them to your cult. They keep their Muslim identity superficially.

An inquisitor on Graham Hancock's website makes a thread about you, calling you the false Pharaoh. The thread goes viral after Hancock himself posts a mocking reply, and many posters become irrationally hateful. A few posters take the thread seriously and become obsessed with the topic.

The Mask travels to Cairo, Egypt. Following the mad dreams that you send him, he investigates the local Coptic communities. They refuse to speak to a foreigner, however, and he cannot gather any information.

The NATO's airforce drops an atomic bomb on London, to stop the spread of what is viewed as dimensional anomaly or invasion. All nations of the world are on high alert. All of Europe is quarantined, and all international flights are stopped. A new international taskforce, dubbed Project EARTHGATE, is created. Intelligence agencies are spreading misinformation online, and any video recorded from inside of the mutated London is tracked and destroyed.

You invade the dreams of the local population of el Cairo. They find many common points between your cult and their Islamic faith. They reference the Qur'anic verse about Muhammad's splitting of the moon, and how the moon has been made full with your return. In the morning, they worship "The Ball of Allah".

>"The Hour (of Judgment) is nigh, and the moon is cleft asunder. But if they see a Sign, they turn away, and say, "This is (but) transient magic."

You turn your cultist Abdul-Rahman Fahim, a local mob leader, into an Avatar of Madness. They are basically drug dealers who follow a vague jihadist ideology. Although his mobsters do not join your cult, you gain obvious influence on them.

The Mask researches more into Imhotepkemet's Cult. He finds Hancock's forum, but nothing much of value.

>Rolling a 11 generated a random event.
[RANDOM EVENT / PC Positive] The British government has been hiding the truth about London, for fear of creating mass panic. But the Mask had recorded a video of the warped city on his cellphone, which he posts on 4chan. He adds crazy, nonsensical subtitles about you to the video. The video goes viral. At night, thousands of people who have watched the video have dreams about you and the warped city, and join your cult. The name "Father Arkham" becomes known to the imageboard communities.

>It is ruled that we will not be using the partial manifestation rules.

Your archeologists attempt to find information about the orb. They search in ancient texts, ancient myths and folklore. The task is of utmost difficulty, and they are unable to find anything useful.

Your cultists gather in the desert between Cairo and Giza, and draw a geometrically perfect circle, that is aligned with the stars and the pyramids.

Graham Hancock joins your cult. He publishes the news on his website:

"I have been for long writing about the pyramids, hinting about a lost Atlantean civilization, and that the pyramid were a clock for some vague Cataclysm. The truth is, I really didn't know what I was writing about. I was ignorant, but something happened last night. My chakras opened and I channeled Imhotepkemet. I have never claimed to be a psychic, but I will claim so, now. I must tell you that everything you've read about him is true. I know that it's hard to believe. But this website will now be all about Him."

Most inquisitors give up, but a few find Hancock's behavior strange and become more relentless.

Starting up a charity, even a humble one, requires funds. But you have none, as everything was invested in your HQ and weapons.

[Readryth Friends] As your cultists love you, all of them are ready to abandon humanity and accept the final modification to look like their lord. The modification is not yet outwardly obvious, but it is certain that they are now part of your species. The wives and husbands of your cultists who followed them to the ranch, but were not affected by your dreams, become increasingly worried and horrified. They can't pinpoint exactly what's wrong.

The summoning circle fails, due to your cultists being too stupid to understand how to do it properly. They are good fighters, but lacking in the intellect part.

New York. An abomination, a city of sin and hatred, where the most ruthless are rewarded with wealth, and the good people are broke or homeless. Your visions of infinite wealth are popular among the vile investment bankers and traders; the NPCs, the organic portals, who dream of gaining more power than their Illuminati masters. Although they have no soul, they still have dreams in their REM sleep and hence can be influenced the same as human beings. They always knew that one day, they would have to pledge allegiance to a dark power, and this long awaited moment has arrived. They will do anything for you. The line between good and evil is broken. All are loyal to you.

The family members of your cultists resign themselves to follow their loved onto onto this path of self-destruction and become part of your repugnant race. They quickly catch up in the rest of the community's progress in Deadeye and Readryth Friends.

Gathering money is no longer possible, as the functioning of human society become more and more incomprehensible to them.
They grow scales, small wings, and their odd, unwinking eyes only reflect their inhumane nature. The leader of the degenerate community develops fully developed wings; the females pride themselves for the color and shine of their scales. A few do not survive the transformation, and their remains are eaten by the others. It is the tragedy of Innsmouth repeated all over again, except this time they do not flee to the seas, but live among the unsuspecting humans.

Amazing! You recruit Dr. Daniel Jackson, the best archeologist of the world since Dr. Indian Jones. Dr. Jackson's specialty is Egyptology, and he is also a full-fledged member of the Stargate SG-1 Project. He uses his relationships in the US Air Force to bypass the ban on international flights, and travels to Cairo to work with your team.

Dr. Jackson's knowledge is invaluable. He searches through the research notes of the team, and immediately finds the location of one orb. It is located in an ancient, abandoned temple in the jungle of Cambodia and was revered to as the "Eye of Buddha". Dr. Jackson thinks that it will be difficult to travel there, unless you solve the travel situation.

A secret police is organized within your cult to find traitors. However, because of their paranoia, they end up arresting and killing innocents.

Your dream ranch is pretty popular among the mole people of New York. You recruit many of them to your cult and gain modest control of the undercity.

Your gang is unable to make money through the Internet. The reason being that they can't afford the Internet bill!

Unfortunately, you do not notice that any of your cultists has {A key to a better you}. Maybe they need a big event to happen?

Because of Imhotepkemet's secret police, it's difficult for Jihakuza to gain influence in your rival's cult.
You IMPRINT a middle-aged, Italian-American pizzaiolo, named Mario Pappalardo. He has no specific talent or ability, other than a good-looking moustache.

The eldritch engineers are to sequester themselves away from many of the other cultists, they are my most trusted disciples of which maximum security must be granted.

Action 1: The eldritch engineers shall work on repairing the arcane devices of the pyramid, so that it may be restored to a beacon that may project my will once more over these sands, certainly making things easier on me.

Roll: 5, 35
A: Critical Yes, Yes
Critical: double progress

Q: Can the engineers build a teleportarium?
Odds: 50/50
Roll: 38
A: Yes

As described in Lovecraft's story "Under the Pyramids", and strangely reminescent of your escapade in SCP-1230, the engine room is hidden deep under the cyclopean caverns and subterannean maze complex of Giza. The eldritch engineers work day and night to restore the antediluvian, energetic devices. This work requires rare crystals and metals which your cult can afford thanks to the latest bank transfer.

>"If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration." - Nikola Tesla

Meanwhile, another team hides in the suburbs of Cairo, far from the other cultists in the city center, and under the protection of your secret police, to begin the theorical design of the teleportarium.

Q: Can the gang succeed on the summoning circle?
Cult Rank: Below Average (ranch part)

Roll: 13
A: Yes

The New York gangbangers make an alliance with the Sicilian Mafia, and begin selling drugs for them to other hobos and prostitutes. This business is surprisingly successful; enough that they can send funds to the ranch to pay the Internet bill and everything they need.

You do not have cultists in England, and international flights are blocked under the current WARP ZONE crisis. You send 30 men and women to swim across the Atlantic Ocean, but they find this mission too difficult, and swim back to the U.S. coast.

Your winged cultist, ole Joe Bob Davis, flies into the air and supervises the work on your summoning circle from above. When the final, central pentagram is drawn, the entire circle begins glowing with the color of hell. Success!

Difficulty: Awesome (a mere human recruiting brainwashed cultists)
Roll: 23
A: No

Q: Is Love's campaign successful?
Odds: 50/50
Roll: 43
A: Yes

Mario buys a gun from the Sicilian Mafia, and goes to a small bank to rob it.

"In the name of Father Arkham, give me all of your money! Now!"

He does escape with the money, but ends up being shot by the local police. A WARP ZONE covering an area of a city block spawns from his dead body. Live footage from the cops reveals the workings of WARP ZONE. All of Mario's relatives, and the entire mafia networks, get arrested.

Jihakuza is unable to recruit anyone from Imho's cult. Conversation is impossible: the mention of any eldritch creature other than Imhotepkemet is met with immediate disgust.

Love's campaign is successful. Her charm and beauty are rare, if not unknown, in the conspiracy theory circles, and she gains a lot of attention on Youtube and Plebbit. She also seduces a German reporter and gets him to print a small article in a national newspaper.

The [Dark Plague] spreads in Cairo. Humans, animals, and the little plants this city has, all slowly turn into shadows. It's highly contagious and seems unstoppable. You do not have full control of the victims yet, but you can feel many telepathic connections open in your mind.

You want to spread another plague in Dr. Daniel Jackson's area, but you have no idea where he is located.

A permanent wormhole door opens between your HQ, Readryth's ranch, and a weapon store. You can't help but laugh, when thinking about the people who have to spend months just to build a crudely designed and unreliable Teleportarium.

Spaceship - outer space - Arkham's real location

The scientists of Project EARTHGATE analyze the warped tissue samples. Mathematical models show that the WARP disease share many properties with cancer. On a biological level, the warped cells seem identical to normal, healthy cells. Regular medical treatments are ineffective. One experiment went wrong and caused a WARP ZONE to affect the entire lab. The lab was entirely burned and destroy, but not before all the research data was collected.

Considering that the WARP ZONES have appeared at various places of the world, and that the bank robber mentioned "Father Arkham" in his robberies, the link between the recent world events and the anime Death Note become obvious. Project EARTHGATE recruit many psychics and mediums from all nations, including those who had obtained positive results in Project STARGATE of the CIA (unrelated to Stargate TV show). The new, daughter project is called Project KIRA, in reference to the protagonist of Death Note.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stargate_Project

Project KIRA makes a breakthrough. They telepathically detect Father Arkham, and discover his true nature. Many get mad just from this brief contact, but mankind gains knowledge of what they are fighting.

Your dreams are lacking a little bit of that sparkle of Jihad to seduce the Egyptians.
David Lagarde recommends other specialists to your traders, but it turns out that everyone is a scammer. This leads nowhere, but at least this time, you do not lose money.

The [Dark Plague] is spreading at an exponential rate. Anyone who's touched is contaminated, so it's even worse than the zombie plague. However, compared to the 10 plagues of Egypt, it's not that bad. You feel the telepathic connection with the first victims strenghen.

Q: Can the cultists hunt down reports?
Odds: Somewhat likely (doesn't sound too difficult)
Roll: 76
A: No

>All 3 actions failed!

Your only cultist in New York was Mario, and he's dead, hence you have no one to IMPRINT.

JIhakuza and his boys try to get near the pyramids, but it's protected by the Egyptian military (cf. Turn 7). They are unable to bypass the tight security.

Love tries to honeypot another reporter, but she gets ignored. An American cultist catches a CNN reporter, but because of his craziness, he takes the "hunting" part literally, kills down his target, cuts him in pieces, and puts them in the fridge. He gets arrested, yells that he's protected by "His Roundness", and is brought to a secret Project EARTHGATE prison.

>do it Ms. Love, this gives me ideas

Your cultists of Texas have little research abilities, and their appearance makes contact with outsiders impossible. Joe Bob gets the idea of asking the Alabama–Coushatta tribe about their myths, because if anyone knows anything about the ancient myths of Texas, that would be the Amerindians. He sends 10 cultists to the tribe, alas they never returned.

You recruit various types of engineers in Texas. The idea of working with snake-people gets them quite excited.

Your hobos try to recruit the most powerful mafiosi that they know into the cult. However, recruiting people into a cult is not an easy task for mortals, and they fail.

Q: Can they finish the Teleportarium?
Odds: Very Likely
Roll: 73
A: Yes

The HQ is completed. The most important work was to cover all of the walls in tinfoil, so that the other eldritch horrors cannot reach it telepathically (this is for the defensive part you mentioned). It also includes modern toiletries and an autonomous hydroponics installation.

The Pyramid of Khufu is restored to full glory. The cultists play magnificent hymns on their trumpets to celebrate.

Last, the Teleportarium project is completed, too. The lead eldritch engineer runs a teleportation experiment on a slave and a rat. The result is a successful ratman hybrid, which the guards immediately kill.

[RANDOM EVENT / PC Negative] All of your Coptic cultists spontaneously convert to the Faith of Gob, Duke of Darkness. They leave to the abandoned St. Arsenius monastery of Cairo and work on turning it into a shadow monastery.

The art dealer David Lagarde asks for a salary of one million dollars, and he will work full time on searching for the orb. Your cultists trust him and make the bank transfer to him. He promises that he'll call you back as soon as he make any discovery.

You try to pinpoint the HQ's location, but it is not easy as the area is a deep, cyclopean maze. Because of this, you are unable to infect anyone from Imhotepkemet's cult.

Your plague in Cairo, however, is now making thousands of victims. The patient zeros have turned into full shadows, awaiting your orders. The authorities are becoming aware of the infection, and calling for Cairo and the surrounding area to be in full quarantine.

Daisy Davis, Joe Bob's daughter, comes into contact with a cult known as "The Serpent's Hand" in her search for reptilian-friendly organizations. The cult gives her information about SCP. SCP, short for "Secure, Contain, Protect" is an international organization that tracks down anomalous artifacts and people, and locks them up, supposedly for the good of mankind. They are in fact evil and serve the interests of the Illuminati. Known particularly for disregarding the value of human life. All SCP anomalous objects are catalogued by their number. SCP-1230 is one such anomalous object that was in their possession.

Now funded by the New York's hobos, your Texan cultists began work on the HQ. They buy trucks, machine guns, bazookas, and begin the construction of wooden defensive towers.

With their improved genetics, they find it easy to dig tunnels. They build a family-sized undercity, equivalent to the one described in Lovecraft's story "The Rats in the Walls", including the raise of a "human cattle" herd.

The traders ditch David Lagarde, so as not to get scammed again. They contact the Jewish shark Eric Silverstein, known for getting shit done, and also 1144 HPD violations. Silverstein accepts the job, if he becomes majority shareholder of your bank and gains a salary of one million dollars per year. Considering his experience and skillset, the traders accept and sign a contract with him. Silverstein promises that he'll call you back as soon as he make any discovery.

>Staff of Nyarlathotep (On Nile IV)
>+1 RS bonus when casting chaotic magic
>+1 RS general bonus against any lawful-aligned creature, including inquisitors
>immunity against lawful magic

1) Anyone who publically speaks ill of you or your projects will suffer a terrible migraine, leading to death if they persist. This works by beaming waves of energy of your personal frequency, which harm any living being that emits opposite energy.

2) You can telepathically speak to the masses.

3) You gain a +1 RS bonus to chaos magic, because the pyramid acts as a magical amplifier. This cumulates with Staff of Nyarlathotep effects.

THIRD SURPRISE TURN

Are the /his/ memes effective?
Odds: Very Unlikely (/his/ is annoyingly rational)
Roll: 52, 91, 27
A: No, Critical No, No
Critical: lose inquisitors

Inquisitor roll: 91 / 10 = 9.1

The inquisitors post anti-Imhotepkemet memes on /his/. The /his/ community responds by proving with historical facts that Imhotepkemet never existed.

>-10 Imhotepkemet inquisitors

Q: Is the statistical study successful?
Odds: Impossible (he's a being of chaos)
Roll: 19
A: No

Q: Is the Al-Qaeda recruitment successful?
Odds: Very Likely (they are on the CIA payroll)
Roll: 86
A: No

Q: Is the anti-Arkham propaganda successful?
Odds: 50/50 (propaganda works on NPC populations)
Roll: 12
A: Yes

Statistical models are unable to predict Arkham's behavior. They only establish that he's vindictive and must not be provoked directly.

Al-Qaeda is on the CIA's payroll and would normally obey, however they are too scared of Father Arkham. They hide in the mountains, far from any city, and pray to Allah all day.

The anti-Arkham propaganda, however, is successful. Ball sports become prohibited internationally. A new season of "The Prisoner" is quickly produced within hours. NPC's and simpletons are trained with their TV and Facebook to hate anything that is spherical.

Is the experiment successful?
Odds: Very Unlikely (SCP-405 is unreliable)
Rolls: 6, 15, 91
A: Yes, Yes, Critical No
Critical: one person joins Arkham's side

Project Kira is successful in mutating the SCP-405 virus with their best telepaths. (No more information will be given about this.) One experiment subject who enters into telepathic contact goes mad and escape the SCP facility. He joins the cult of Father Arkham.

Accurate.

You recruit 16 more official. It should be noted that with 596 seats in the Egyptian senate, it is difficult to be influencial politically.

The Combodian team is made of 10 Muslims led by Dr. Jackson's second in command. The Teleportarium, which is unreliable because of its crude, human construction, instead teleports them to the Immaterium, the dimension of chaos. Their fate is unknown but can be guessed to be worse than going through ten thousand WARP ZONES. Dr. Jackson is traumatised, repeating that "it should have been him".

You cast a beautiful, symetrically WARP ZONE on the Pyramid of Khufu. The pyramid becomes a creepy pyramid fractal, with some of the tiny pyramids replaced with random, floating digits, with a glorious 7 at the top of the entire structure. This fucks up the central tube and causes the machinery deep underground to explode from the energy accumulation.

Jihakuza reaches his ultimate transformation. He screams "Arkamu Akbar!" He looks at the moon in the sky. "Fuck you, moon crescent Allah. The moon is only beautiful when it's full. Arkamu Akbar! Arkamu Akbar!"

Dr. Evans finds a story relating to the dragon blood plant in the myths of ancient China. In the story, when the dragon Gongong smashed its head against the mythical Buzhou Mountain, from his blood spawned the dragon blood plant. From her analysis, Buzhou Mountain is equivalent to what is known in modern times as XXX (censored) in Tajikistan. She's ready to set an expedition, but does not know how to bypass the ban on international flights.

The traders hire Henry Walton Jones III, who finds references to the orbs in his grandfather's notes. Referenced as the "Orb of the Sun" by the Amerindians, it should be located in a small, ancient, undiscovered Maya temple of Kinich Ahau in a swamp of Southwest Florida. His name Kinich means "sun-eyed" and is a clear reference to the orb. The notes contains a precise map to the temple.

In exchange, they ask that you do them a favor when they need it.

The gang continues working on the towers, and begins work on a backyard fallout shelter, for defense in case you get nuked because of Father Arkham's shenanigans. Joe Bob Davis surrounds the camp with barbed wire and anti-personal mines.

THIRTEENTH TURN

Forgot to take the Chaos Level change into consideration for the Odds rolls. I will now.

Q: Does the Teleportarium accept to "collaborate"?

Critical: teleport to the orb room

Q: Is the devising of defensive measures successful?
Odds: Average (average task for a magical engineer)
Roll: 57
A: Yes

Q: Are the repairs successful?
Odds: Very Likely (see Turns 9, 10)
Roll: 60
A: Yes

Dr. Daniel Jackson and a team of 10 armed Muslims teleport directly to the sacred room holding the Eye of Buddha. Dr. Jackson's first action is to send a Muslim to grab the orb, who immediately gets electrocuted. The archeologist then has to spend hours studying the Pali-language frescoes, before he figures out that the orb cannot be touched in the physical plane, but has to be grabbed in the astral plane.

Fortunately, he has familiar with astral travel, and manages to secure the orb. Now, you only have to figure out how to get out of the temple...
In the meantime, the eldritch engineers devise a system of defense to cover and uncover the pyramid with tinfoil in order to protect its structural integrity against unwanted manipulation. The system is not complicated, however figuring out how to get rid of the WARP ZONE is a devilish problem that you have yet to solve.

Repairing the machinery is an easier task, and they restore the system as it was before, adding an extra laser-microwave function so that they can warm up their hotpockets.

Victim roll: 36 / 10 = 3.6

IMPRINTing Alicja is not an easy task before of her latent powers. You almost get her permanently brain-fried, but after a few hours, her mind becomes clear, and her body accepts your boon. Blessed be His Roundness.

She uses her newly developed intellect to brainstorm a solution. She suggests that you convert several military units to your cult, and send them to storm the maze. Eventually, one of the units should make it through. Now in possession of someone in your team who has the faculty to think, a shitstorm's coming to your worst enemy.

Jihakuza materializes in his naked form before a team of four security guards. They become immediately and irreversibly mad, as one would expect.

Your dreams of cowboys and snakes strangely lack appeal to the military vets. One asked if you can pay him with free food stamps. In return, you showed him your undercity human cattle, so that he knows there's always food in your ranch, but he woke up with PTSD.

The scouting mission is not successful. You send a team of 5 elite soldiers, but they do not manage to get close to the facility because of the automated drone surveillance. They prefer to retreat without getting captured, so that the secret of your HQ is kept.

Ole Joe Bob accepts the mission of buying guns, but he forgets about it on his way, and instead gets beer at the local gas station.

I didn't list it as a rule in the OP, but I will not accept conditional actions based on the success of rolls.
It was forbidden in the original thread, and I think that it makes sense. Otherwise it's like gaining free actions.

FORTEENTH TURN

Q: Transdimensional Tinfoiling
Odds: 50/50 (see previous turn)
Roll: 86
A: No

Q: Arcanomechanical gear
Odds: 50/50
Roll: 3
A: Critical Yes
Critical: going to make instant production for a squad

Q: Can he recruit?
Appeal/Power: Incredible (SoN + PPW bonuses)
Difficulty: Average
Roll: 43
A: Yes

"Prevalence of cults in the US": about 1%
Population of Egypt: 100 mil
Cultist potential of Egypt: 1 million
Going to roll with 1d100 * 10k

Q: Kek, lord of the dice, do you approve of this humble calculation?
Odds: 50/50 (Kek's odds)
Roll: 37
A: Yes

Cultist roll: 88 * 10k = 88,000

The tinfoiling of the pyramid is delayed by the lack of supplies and Father Arkham who kind of blocks the entrance.

Your eldritch engineers develop electrical lances powered by void energy, and battlesuits with motion sensors that can block and replace full vision in case of proximity with a WARP ZONE. They make enough for a squad of 10 Muslim soldier-slaves.

With your will projected by your ancient wonder, the Pyramid of Khofu, you can reach a large portion of the Egyptian population in dreams. You announce your return as the one true pharaoh.

You dump the basement waters into the dumpster that is known as Egypt. A dandelion blooms where it never had in a thousand years.

Your colonels recruit a few low-rank soldiers to make a secret troop. As far as they know, they are working for the government of Egypt, and not the rogue cult of a dark deity.

The engineers are not only not interested in your cult, but they find it DISGUSTING! They form a small association known as "Science Against Witchcraft" with the purpose of hunting down witches, heretics, and non-humans, using the power of modern science and atheism.

The other engineers who are already part of your cult begin working on an ambitious war machine, a bizarre mechanical beast of incomprehensible powers, crafted from old weapons and various obsolete machinery parts. Unfortunately, during the testing phase, the heavy machine gun that's on its back is activated by mistake and ends up shooting the entire team. No one survives. Ole Joe Bob orders that the beast is dismantled.

Q: Can Readryth recruit new engineers?
Appeal: Average
Difficulty: Above Average
Rolls: 49, 15
A: No, Yes

engineer roll: 33 / 10 = 3.3

Q: Can the gang scout out the SCP site?
Odds: 50/50 (see Turn 13)
Roll: 15
A: Yes

You show the engineers the dreams of great machines, what their predecessors' metal monster could have been; gigantic factories reaching high in the sky, where floating wheels of bronze are rotating forever, and spreading their bolted horrors to the world. They become convinced that you are the god of engineering, and join your cult. (Pic shows a dream scene.)

The gang finds a weakness in the defenses of the SCP site. It is the trucks that bring them supplies at a regular schedule, and could provide for a way to enter if you can somehow hijack them.

Odds: Near Sure Thing (they are described as protecting it)

Q: Do they notify the NATO?
Odds: 50/50
Roll: 29
A: Yes

The engineers finish building a retractable tinfoil covering device. When activated, it can dilate to protect the pyramid fully. Because of the WARP ZONE on the pyramid, it is currently impossible to activate.

After much debate, the Egyptian army reports the WARP ZONE on the pyramid to the international community. The NATO deploys its air force...

The first two shadows that enter the Maya temple are crushed by a giant boulder, propelled by a complex wooden mechanism. The other shadows enter prudently and avoid the other traps. They reach the first sacrificial chamber, of which the walls are decorated with paintings of mask-wearing jaguars.

At the other side of the world, your small expeditions set a camp near the town of XXX. They use the technique of building a door in the middle of nowhere, so that you can easy bring anything that you need.

I suppose it’s now or never, time to reveal myself to NATO. Let the die be cast.

Also can I just note in the background I’m sending 3 battlesuits over to Readryth?

Action 1, 2: Manifest the deepest reaches of my telepathic strength, staff boost, then pyramid boost my telepathic powers then have Dr Daniel present on the line to communicate the following to NATO and force the pilots to turn back, have Dr. Daniel present to give legitimacy..

“I am Imhotepkemet, enemy of the Sphere, and Pharaoh of Egypt in ancient times past...”

“You threaten now my pyramid, which has weathered reality assault from the hated foe Arkham, your desire to purge the taint is commendable, but misguided...”

“Within the pyramid spire lie researchers with the means to permanently cleanse his warpish taint, a method I shall grant freely to you once perfected.”

“Interference now will spell disaster and ruin for this world, a fate so many have shared.”
“I humbly request you leave the structure in peace.”

Action 3: Work on warp zone cleanup.

SIXTEENTH TURN

He has 120% chance of success so I'll ask right away about his critical...
Does FA get a critical WARP ZONE?
Rolls: 16, 34, 93
A: Yes, No, No

Q: Does the WARP ZONE cause an earthquake?
Odds: 50/50 (no idea)
Roll: 100
A: Critical No

[WARP ZONE, critical] You cast a titanic WARP ZONE 200 km under the Pyramid of Khofu. Rocks change to bright colors, and many of them turn into random numbers. Because of the high density of the material you're working with, WARP ZONE's effect of merging things does not really alter the structural integrity of the environment.

Q: Can the gang improve the HQ?
Odds: Very Likely (see Turn 11)

Q: Can he find information about the Hollow World?
Odds: Unlikely (esoteric subject)
Roll: 53
A: No

Joe Bob Davis added the second layer of anti-personal mines surrounding the camp. He also gets a tall antenna installed, to detect, hack and destroy drones. Another cultist breeds pitbulls trained to detect eldritch invasions. Joe Bob adopts a puppy which he names "Rascal", and will raise to become his personal bodyguard.

Because of Science Against Witchcraft's campaign against witchcraft, the local engineers are wary of anything related to black magic. They reject your dreams as just bad nightmares and forget about it.

Daisy Davis uses her relative proficiency with cell phones to research information about the Hollow World only. She finds the "Pellucidar" saga of Edgar Rice Burroughs, which she reads and enjoys, but finds no information pertinent to the real world.

[HIGHER MAGIC] You have control over the fundamental aspects of reality, and possess the great Staff of Chaos. Your synapses alone can deal with the puny magic of FATHER ARKHAM (cf. previous thread). Without any difficulty, you dissolve the WARP ZONE.

[RANDOM EVENT / Move toward a thread] A daring eldritch engineer takes the (perhaps disastrous) initiative to reverse teleport the entire temple room where Daniel Jackson is located, using the GPS coordinates of his cellphone. The Orb of Crystalline Perfection is safely brought back to the HQ safely.

While you are doing your speech, Dr. Jackson contacts Major General Henry Landry [U.S. Air Force General], a close friend of his [Stargate canon].

"General, this is me, Daniel."

"Daniel? Daniel Jackson?"

"Yes, Daniel Jackson. General, you have to stop the attack on the Pyramid of Khofu. The pyramid represents the last line of defense of mankind against the Sphere. I'm there right now, working with a Tok'ra [benevolent Egyptian alien/god] to restore ancient technology and stop the goddamn Apocalypse."

"What? Hold on, Daniel."

>General Landry makes a call.

"Daniel? Where have you been? You've been reported MIA."

"General, I'll explain later. But you have to stop the attack."

>General Landry makes another call.

"Daniel, we have stopped the attack, but you have to report to General O'Neil immediately."

The walls of the temple are covered with cinnabar dust, which is highly toxic. Everyone in the expedition team begins shaking, and die.

The Tajik team begins the search for the dragon blood plant. The initial survey does not find anything, because the mountain range is huge and the plant, rare.

Your recruitment campaign in South America is a disaster. The South Americans identify your dreams as psychic attack from the CIA -- as the CIA has repeatedly attacked their sovereignty. They form a counter-cult, "La Maoista Luz", with the goal of destroying all creatures of darkness, including but not limited to vampires and werewolves. They come into contact with "Science Against Witchcraft" and form an alliance. For now, their quest is ineffective, because they are hunting for you in South America, a continent where you do not have yet a presence.

Dr. Jackson meets Project EARTHGATE envoys in Cairo. They ask him a lot of questions, about how you communicated with them telepathically, and how you plan to destroy the tainted Sphere. He answers the questions the best he can. He explains that the Sphere is telepathic too, and can read mind, as well as possess people. He shows them the battlesuits as one of the biggest discovery he's made, as those soldiers are immune to the effects of the Sphere. Colonel Günther of Project EARTHGATE tells him that he will have to report to him directly, rather than General O'Neil.

The battlesuits fight the Avatar of Madness, Jihakuza, and his terrorists. The battle is fierce, because the terrorists are well trained and Jihakuza is kind of a mastermind. But all in all, the people on both side are of the same racial stock, and they end up fighting with fists and stones. "Die, infidel!", yells one battlesuit. "Arkamu Akbar", a terrorist responds. Jihakuza uses his teleportation ability to appear in the air above your soldiers, and stones them to death.

The Pyramid is covered with tinfoil.

The HQ is now fully fortified. Protected with four tinfoil-covered wooden towers, walls of corrugated metal, barbed wire, several layers of mines, pitbulls, anti-drone tower, and machine guns connected to mention sensors. It's a wonderful sight, for amateurs of post-apocalyptic fiction.

The engineers continue the mechanical beast project, and this time it is a success. The beast has the shape of a huge bull, exhales toxic gas and has a machine gun on its back. (Basically, a D&D gorgon.) It has no true sentience, but can be programmed with simple routines in LUA. The default programming is 1) patrol the walls, and 2) at random times, patrol outside the HQ and kill anything that's not recognized as part of the community. The gang ends up playing a rodeo game with the Gorgon, but it doesn't end well -- two of your cultists end up with a broken back.

The battlesuits sent by Imhotepkemet arrive through the magical portal.

Q: Is the expedition successful?
Odds: 50/50 (see Turn 15)
Roll: 53
A: Yes

Q: Can they find the plant?
Odds: No Way (rare plant)
Rolls: 6, 87
A: Yes!!!

Your new team enters the temple with portable oxygen masks. They sacrice a hobo on the sacrificial chamber, to pay respect to the ancient Maya god. Then, they make progress toward the next room. One hobo falls into a pitfall trap, but the rest of the team bypasses all the other trap and reaches the second important room; the library. You find a few mostly intact bark-paper codices, of great archeological value. A saga painted on the walls explain how the ancient god had once been summoned to Earth using the sun orb, and he had plucked one of his own eyes to replace it with the artifact.

Dr. Evans and her team find the dragon plant, following the rules of fengshui described in ancient Chinese text the "Book of Burial". The Book of Burial explains where, in a mountain, is the most appropriate location for a tomb, by analyzing the geographical features, the streams and hills, and finding the shape of a dragon [authentic]. She finds the dragon plant in the eye of the geographical dragon.

>"Where contour ceases and features soar high, with a stream in front and a hill behind, here hides the head of the dragon." -The Book of Burial

Q: Can FA WARP NK?
Odds: 95%
Roll: 60
A: Yes

Q: Can Alicja poinpoint the nuke location?
Odds: 50/50 (she's infected)
Roll: 73
A: No

>FATHER ARKHAM

[WARPZONE] You WARP Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea. It is a true tragedy, killing many women and children, and turning others into mutant aberrations. People merge together or with animals and objects; their flesh and bone duplicate, like cancer, in an insectoid fashion. A group of a thousand person become a huge amoeba-like mass ressembling AKIRA, a cyclopean human centipede conceived by the most depraved mind. All lose their mind when seeing the horror around them.

Alicja sees all in her mind, and she laughs and rejoices. She takes her deck of tarot card (yes, this one >>4210392) and tries to find a hint about the missiles location. However, she does not understand Korean culture well enough to get a good reading. "I can't read the moon runes", she reports to you, "even though you are the moon, my Lord."

(Third action cancelled due to you not knowing where the nukes are.)

A: Yes

Q: Can he CORRUPT Maria Becker?
Power: Above Average
Difficulty: Average
Roll: 60
A: Yes

In the same style as Corona-chan earlier this year, you recruit many people in the glorious motherland by spreading images of PEPE (pic related).

However, because Chinese bureaucracy is notoriously inefficient, you can only infect low-ranking official.

[CORRUPT / PEPINA] Maria Becker takes her final, frogette form. This is absolutely beautiful, there's no words.

Power: Incredible (incl. bonuses)

Roll: 39
A: Yes

Botanist roll: 13 / 10 * 10k= 1,300

With the number of people in your cult, it's not difficult to find competent people. You give the battlesuits to veteran soldiers.

You show what the Sahara looked like when you were running the show. The Sahara was a green oasis, with lakes and rivers; it was very beautiful. Botanists join your cult en masse.

Rolls: 90, 54
A: Yes

Q: Can the Copts upgrade the monastery?
Odds: Very Likely (just copying Gob's odds)
Roll: 13
A: Critical Yes
Critical: double progress

You find the final room of the temple of Kinich Ahau, with the glimmering orb on an altar. All of your shadows are blinded and destroyed by the sun energy of the gem, but your hobos, with their pure heart, are able to grab it. For only one who has a pure heart, can put their hand on the Orb of the Sun. They recite a prayer to you, and bring it back to the HQ.

In Egypt, the shadows work on the monastery. They channel the energies of the Plane of Shadow. In appearance, the monastery now looks like ash-covered, dilapidated ruins -- a common occurence for shadow-touched buildings. However, it now carries the energy of the plane, making it life-draining for any living being that is not part of your cult. There are also many traps, of negative energy breathing gargoyle heads, or dark tentacles.
