For the 4th version of this thread, I'm going to run a multiplayer game, still with the Mythic GM Emulator.

The setting is very simple. One town, one dungeon. You join Kek's Familia and then you raid the dungeon. If too many players want to join, they will be invited to another Familia. In that situation, the game will start with a war between the Familias, so that the excess players exterminate each other. This gives a chance to everyone to join but makes the number of players manageable.

MODE OF THOUGHTS (can have more than one):
*Visual: you think with images

*Emotional: you think with emotions
*Abstract: your thoughts are abstract
*Unknown: you are not aware of your own thoughts

THE 14 STATS ARE:
*Strength (lifting)
*Dexterity (hands)

*Reflex (speed)
*Toughness (tanking)
*Fitness (cardio)
*Perception
*IQ (thinking)
*Memory (long-term)
*Intuition (gut feeling)
*Willpower (mind over matter)
*Wisdom (introspection, spirituality)
*Charisma (talking)
*Beauty (appearance)

Describe your stats in plain English using the ranks below.
Ranks: minuscule, weak, low, below average, average, above average, high, exceptional
For Stats, an “average” rank means the rank of an average person
For skills and other abilities, an “average” rank means an average person skilled with this ability; an average professional. Those with less than average ranks are skilled amateurs. Yes, this means, above average skills are uncommon.

The skills are freeform so you can list anything. Here's an extensive list if you need inspiration: https://gurps.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_Skills

Attached is an example character from the Mythic book.
>>
CREATION RULES
1) Create your character, following the rules above.
2) Reminder: you are playing as yourself, the person behind the screen. The more honest you are statting yourself, the more fun this is going to be.
3) Reminder: for skills, an average rank means the rank of an average professional, not the average person. If you rank yourself as Average, then it means that you're as good as the average professional.

GENERAL RULES
1) Namefag yourself.
2) Roll 20d100 with each post. The rolls will be used for the GM emulator.
3) You have to keep track of your own inventory and money.

MULTIPLAYER RULES
1) You can chat with the other players as much as you want
2) Don't make more than one action post before the QM responds

Here is the introduction.

When the gods longed for mortal life, the Supreme Godhead created Devapura, the City of the Gods. In Devapura, most of their divine powers are stripped away and they have to build an alliance with the mortals for their own survival. The gods organized themselves into the Familia system. Only by joining a Familia can mortals enter the famed Danjon, where many fabulous treasures await them.

You are such mortal. You were browsing the /qst/ board on 4chan when suddenly you died (describe your death, by default it's heart attack). You wake up in the central plaza of Devapura. This is the area where all newcomers enter this world, waiting to be invited to a god's Familia. A crowd of other confused Earthlings are around you, some of them still dressed in pj's. Four deities are present. They are Kek, the god of chaos; Loki, the god of clowns; Guanyin, the goddess of mercy; and Ishtar, goddess of lust.

Before the plaza stands the infinite Pillar of Heaven, created by the goddess Nüwa, which connects Heaven, the home of the gods, to the mortal plane; and below it lies the depths of the Danjon. The lowest floors of the Pillar is the home of the Adventurer's Guild: a neutral organization that oversees and regulates all Familia business. The architecture of Devapura is a mix of the medieval fantasy and traditional Japanese styles.

I've changed my name to match my trip code, also the previous name was redundant. QM and Oracle kind of mean the same thing.

Q: Does the tax-collector appear with them?

Q: Is Devapura located in the same world?

Ari pushes the red button. Reality ondulates and you both appear in the central plaza of Devapura, with your horses. Next to you stands Khidell Neriroris, the elven tax-collector, looking extremely confused.

"Wahh! What's going on" Ari whines. "What is this place? I thought we were going to eat a good elven tofu meal."

Kek spots you and waves. He walks toward you. "Terry, Ari, good to see you. This is the city of Devapura."

Ari looks around. "Devapura, the City of the Gods?" She moves her ears and her tail enthusiastically. "Well, I guess, we are much closer to the Empire of Tyria, now. Devapura is a city-state located on the southern edge of the Empire."

Kek nods. "Glad you like it. My previous children died on the 11th floor of the Danjon. A really tragic story, even though they were a bunch of faggots. That's why I summoned you guys here. I thought this time, I need someone who's an excellent strategist, and a fluffy girl who can keep my bed warm. What do you guys say about joining my FAMILIA?"

Q: Kek explains...
Rolls: 10, 84
A: Communicate of Status quo
He doesn't explain so much
Rolls: 60, 39
A: Abuse of News
He's evasive

"Oh, I can explain. Let's just say, I have a gambling addiction, and my children wanted to help me... cure it. They went deeper into the Danjon than usual to collect a special treasure for me. The problem is that the 11th floor was too difficult and their party got wiped. There's not much to be worried about, the lower floors are pretty safe. As for Moneybags here, well. I have no ideas what he's doing there. Is he, by any chance, an acquaintance of yours?"

Ari nods. "I understand. Gambling is fun."

Khidell stares at you. "Wait, I recognize you two! You're the thieves who stole my diary and blackmailed me!"

“My apologize Kek, this will only take a second.”

I attempt a repeate of my very first fight in this land and throw a dagger at Khidell as both an attack and a distraction. I then maneuver to his side and put my saber through his neck. I punctuate my actions with the cliché, yet appropriate line. “Nothing personal, kid.”

If things work out according to plan, I’ll take his money, gold chains, and the thorn ring from him.

Your dagger lands in Khidell's left eye and he instantly falls forward to the ground, unconscious. Kek gets nervous. "Wait! No fighting in this city, except in the arena. This body must not be found, I'll take care of it." He throws a red cape on Khidell's body to hide it. "You have no idea. This is a neutral, peaceful city."

Some of the people who were standing around you freak out and flee. Loki honks his horn to catch their attention. "Come back here! Oh well, I guess they will not join my awesome Familia." he says, dramatically.

Kek shakes his head. "I'm afraid we can't talk more privately. I'm here to recruit new children, I don't want the other gods to snatch them away."
Reality ondulates and spins around William. He appears in Devapura, in front of Kek. Abigail, Catia, Aimee, and his camel follow him. Aimee is screaming, with her hands on her eyes. On the floor, there's a dead body wrapped in a red cape.

"Well, actually, here's the person I was waiting for. Hello, William! It's me, Kek." He points both of his thumbs up.

Ari, the beastgirl, says. "A pink-skinned man! How adorable! Hello, William. I'm Ari." She gives him her hand to shake it.

"Let's introduce each other later." Kek says. "I understand that you guys must feel really confused. Please follow me to the dark alley and I'm going to explain everything. Basically, this is Devapura, the City of the Gods and the best place in the world, and I've summoned you here to invite you to my Familia."

Kek notices that he's getting a few dark glares. "I see that some people don't seem happy. Everything is going to make sense, I promise. Please follow me." He waddles across the plaza toward a dark alley. "I'm not going to rape you or anything, this is just to talk more privately, as Terry here requested."

Yes, resposting your sheet is fine.

Here are the differences
1) You will lose your cheats (probably)
2) You can keep everything else (items, NPCs)
3) I've added the Fitness, Perception, Memory and Beauty stats
4) I need the following information: Name, age, gender, ethnicity, faith/religion, mode of thoughts, 4chan home boards, political views, hair, eyes, height, weight, background

Post your sheet and I'll get you started.

>Did we die again?
"No, no, you didn't die. The button only teleported you here, but we're still in the same world as Wadirma." He shivers. "Geographically, we are far to the north-west of this horrible place. Basically, there are only three main worlds. There's Heaven, which is my home world. There's Earth, which is where we are currently. And there's Hell, which is the world you originally came from. Earth is a neutral place, with good and bad things. Some places, like Devapura, are more aligned with Heaven, whereas other places, such as Wadirma, are more aligned with Hell."

>Uhm, exactly why did you want to talk in a dark alley?
"Terry, this hypercompetent mastermind here, wants to talk in private. I have no idea why, but he suggested that we go to dark alley. I'm asking you to follow us so that the other gods don't invite you to their Familia while I'm gone. I mean, with your talent for making voices, I can definitely see Loki wanting you in his Familia."

Abigail and Ari follow Kek. Catia is hesitant. Aimee looks disgusted with the frog god.

“Well at least SOMEONE acknowledged my title,” I say giving Ari a smirk. “I wanted to know what exactly the gods’ involvement in all of this was. This is obviously some sort of competition and I want to know the rules. Of course I’d also like to know what I gain from doing this, you know I’m not exactly a dungeon diver sort of person so any positive incentive would be nice. "Well, well, Kek, what title would you give me?" Ari asks.

"Erm, how about fluffball?" He waits to reach the dark alley before he answers Terry's questions.

"All gods grant the same blessing. The blessing gives you entry to the Danjon, the ability to chose a class and to gain levels. Of course, you've already received part of this blessing, as I gave you the thief class. There's no formal competition between the gods. However, we do rely on our children for helping us." "We have a few magic items, but they aren't even identified." Ari says.

"Well, that, I could do for you. I can naturally see the aura of everything. I forgot to say. There is one type of formal competition between the gods. It is called the Familia Wars. They are free-for-all battles in the arena. We must hope never to be involved in one, as it's very dangerous."

>>Strengths:

Solid Base: Although You have low Physical Stats, you have the advantage of a family and genetic history of being fit and healthy, meaning that it is easier than most to raise them.

Dog Lover: You love dogs, and they love you. (not like that you perverts)

Quick Learner: You learn fast, but really only if it interests you, whether because you truly enjoy it, passing fancy, or urgency.

Down The Hatch: Although you are spoilt on good food, you still have no qualms about eating something that anyone else would deem unfit for human consumption. Rotten meat? Just cook it until it stops being rotten. Moldy bread? Cut off the bad parts. This may lead to eating actually dangerous things, and is as such as much a curse as a blessing.

Glorious Hair; Your hair is glorious. This has no actual effect but making you feel good about yourself so long as you have it, and sad if it is either damaged, removed, or significantly dirtied.

Temperature Tolerance: You grew up in Texas, where the weather was schizophrenic and your room was alternately the hottest in the house or coldest. This has no effect on physically damaging heat or cold, such as Frostbite or Fire
>>Weaknesses:

Socially Awkward: You spent most of your time in a book or on the computer, not talking. This has had a negative impact on general socialization.

Compassionate: While being mean makes others feel bad, being mean makes you feel REALLY bad.

Messed up Joints: Although this lets you do weird things like dislocate your arms and replace them without harm or much pain, it also means your left hip joint clicks like you're 80 and it's on your 3rd replacement. On rare occasions, it fails you when doing physical activity.

Needs Glasses: You need fairly strong prescription glasses to see properly.

Inventory:

Lumber axe: A 2 handed axe made for chopping lumber, it is, however, more than sufficient for combat.

Prescription glasses: Need them to see, you're probably done for if you lose these and can't adjust or get a new pair soon enough.

Conductor's Hat: All that remains of your beloved Express. Stylish.

Winter Clothes: Warm, thick clothing. Not as stylish as your hat, but they're sturdy and match so it's fine.

Background: Double Isekaiee. Self explanatory. Got too excited over newfound respect from a series of duels and died.

I paused as I saw Catia and Aimee refuse to follow, turning to them and whispering. "I understand if you want to try your luck with a different deity, considering where he originally dumped us, but be careful, I doubt he's the most malicious one here." I advised, following after Kek and Abigail to gain more information.

I didn't really believe what Kek said about my original world being hell, and this place being the only real earth, but I kept my thoughts to myself. Either Kek really believed that, and wasn't as all powerful as he appeared, or he thought I was a gullible fool, which I could use to my advantage later. I stayed silent while Terry and Kek talked, though as Kek said his children were everything, and mentioned what made this place so great, I felt my anger rise up. If this place was so good, and if we were so important to him, then why the hell did he dump us in a desert full castrating bandits!?! One person had died, and plenty were traumatized from their first meeting with the natives of Wadirma.

I took a deep breath as I pushed my anger aside for the sake of convenience, I wanted as little to do with this god as possible, but the opportunity to stay in this city, and safely grow in power, were too good to pass up. I could try my luck with another god, but I had no idea who I could trust, or if Kek or them wouldn't do something worse to me if I refused.

Better the devil you know, I suppose.

"So what does it mean to join your familia? Do you own our souls, or does our business conclude once we choose to leave the city?" I asked, not willing to pledge myself to an eternity of serving Kek, and wanting to make sure that wasn't what I was agreeing to.

Isekai Cheats
Harem Protag: You now have a sex appeal that defies logic, giving an *absolute* bonus to seduction attempts and compelling members of the opposite sex to get jiggy with it, to the extent that you must roll to determine whether they are willing to engage in coitus, not whether they are interested. They are always open to polygamy but members of the same sex will resent you. Some violently.

Edgelord: You can teleport behind your foes, summon dual desert eagles/uzis at your discretion, and drain life force to regenerate or fuel your attacks when you cut someone. You can also cut yourself and reabsorb it at an equal ratio. Forbidden sorcery comes twice as easily and malign entities see you as their equivalent and take you seriously, for good or ill. This comes at the cost of a gravelly voice, deep dislike of daylight, and the permanent fixation to wear a trenchcoat and dark-tinted sunglasses, which you can summon at will. If your dialogue is sufficiently edgy, you may receive a bonus to any given roll.

Strengths
Infomaniac: After years of watching “educational” Youtube videos you now have a Below Average Knowledge skill in all but the most esoteric and vague topics.

Weaknesses
Antisocial: You keep a distance from people unless needed.

>"I understand if you want to try your luck with a different deity, considering where he originally dumped us."
Catia answers. "I... I don't care about those deities. Most important for me is to be by your side." Aimee nods.

>"So what does it mean to join your familia? Do you own our souls, or does our business conclude once we choose to leave the city?"
"Joining a Familia does not mean that I own your soul. It only means that you receive my blessing. However, when you have a god's blessing, you cannot receive the blessing of another god, unless the first god removes it. The blessing does not affect you in any other way."

>"So you just need us to go in and get some treasure for you?"
He nods. "Yes, that's correct. The first thing I need gold for is to pay the rent of my pyramid."
>"Are there any particular guidelines for us “children”?"
"Killing other people is forbidden.. But more than anything, do not kill the children of another god, otherwise that god could declare us war, which would be bad news."

>Big question, is my hat supernaturally durable as my train once was?
I've searched but I can't find information about your hat. If it was supernaturally durable before it still is now. If you don't know if it was, then let's roll for it.

Jackson, Shi, AnonKnight, and the priestess Miyashita Emiya all appear together in the central plaza of Devapura, among a crowd of other confused Earthlings. Some, because they pushed a big red button; others, who are more edgy, were brought here directly by hyperdimensional beasts. All of their powerful cheats are gone. The glorious Express is left behind in the north; Shi has lost most of his sex appeal, and his dual desert eagles are gone; AnonKnight has recovered his handsome human appearance. Three deities are present; their nature is unmistakable from their aura. One is a frogman dressed as a clown; the other two are beautiful maidens.

“I must say, I’m surprised at how favorable the conditions are. As I stated before, I will aid you. However I feel as if my talents would be of more use to you if I were to go about things in a less conventional manner.”

“If she accepts,” I say gesturing to Ari,”would it be possible for her to accept a formal position in my stead? Seeing as her skills weren’t acquired through magical means, your blessing would allow her to gain a large increase in power and utility without negating her other abilities which already exceed my own when it comes to the nature of thievery.”

"I'm open to non-conveniential ideas: can you explain? As for Ari. There's no formal position. My Familia is chaotic in nature, we abbhor formalities, rules and titles. So of course, she can gain a class." He turns to Ari. "Ari, will you join my Famiilia, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until one of us gets bored of the other?"

Ari puts her hand over her mouth, thinking. "Kek. That sounds like a good offer, but aren't we too weak to fight in the Danjon? Other than the blessing, what can you give us?"

Kek's face turns red; drool comes out of his fleshy lips. "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. TERRY HAS ALREADY ASKED ME THIS QUESTION."

Ari wiggles her tail. "Kek-sama, you have to understand. We are just next to the Empire of Tyria. How convenient is it for me, as I was looking for Avilina the mage, my friend who lives there. I have to admit, Devapura is a nice place. The streets are clean, there's no crime. But I don't really have time for this..."

Kek's head grows bigger; he's about to explode. He can't speak English anymore, he only utters curse words in Egyptian, his native tongue. His eyes pop out of his eye sockets.

Abigail, the priestess of Aphrodite, says, apathetically: "I think we're having a situation. If Kek-sama here explodes, how are we to join his Familia?" She closes her eyes and join her hands together. "I call Aphrodite, goddess of love. To appease this man, may love reach his heart." Red energy moves from her hand to Kek's head, which returns to normal.

Aimee runs her hand through her golden hair. "Well, Abigail. That was pretty amazing."

"All right, everyone, let's go to the Pillar of Heaven and register your Familia membership. If any of you is not interested, then I'll find other children." Kek waddles back toward the plaza.

Turning my attention to Ari, I attempt to convince her.”You know, this may be a good opportunity for you. By agreeing to help Kek you yourself can become a sorcerer. That will save us a lot of travel time and effort since I doubt any mage will be up for doing any rescue mission barring any monetary or ego-stroking incentives. "Kek-sama, do you think I'd make a good sorcerer?" Ari asks.

"No. You'd suck at it. In fact, you wouldn't even be able to cast one spell. The reason being, you're an airhead, plain and simple."

Ari's face turns all read and she shows her teeth. Abigail casts the same spell she did earlier on Kek. "William, I think those people definitely have anger management issues. I call Aphrodite, goddess of love..." With Abigail's soothing magic, the wolf girl calms down.

Ari would have plenty of time to practice and would have exposure to items that would improve her more, lacking capabilities. As far as anime is concerned most people would label me as a casual. "I understand. Nowadays, I mostly pull people from Hell and I bring them here to Earth, then I watch them having fun. It's the same as anime but it feels more real." Kek waddles toward Shi. "This person here is definitely my favorite character." Kek lowers his upper torso. "This is Shi, Conductor, and Anon." Ari, the wolf-girl, bows too. "Nice to meet you, Shi. I'm Ari." Emiya, the priestess who's with Shi, defensively grabs his arm.

(@Terry: those people know your alternate self, but you do not know them.)

"Hello mina-san. This is me, Kek, the lord of chaos. I have brought you to this wonderful town to invite you to my Familia! Will you accept this invitation? I know you will! Because it's too good of an opportunity. Let me introduce you to the people who are with me: this is Ari, Terry, William, Abigail, Catia, and Aimee. They are all absolutely extraordinary adventurers who went through countless perils. Moreover, William, this man here who has the skin the color of marshmallow, is the funniest man in the entire world."

Other than Ari, the three other girls are pretty indifferent toward Shi's charms and barely give him a glance. Aimee whispers to Abigail. "I have never noticed that William is funny at all, I don't know what he's on about."

I was happy that Catia and Aimee wanted to come with me, even if the way they said it made me blush. Joining Kek's Familia sounded like a good idea too since I wasn't expecting another god to give me a blessing any time soon. It also seemed like there was very little chance there'd be a war between us and another familia, and combined with the eash access to a safe tosn and beginner dungeon, everything sounded almost too good to be true.

I listened to Terry and Ari talk to Kek, appreciating Terry's idea of using a class to empower his companion further. He seemed a little suspicious, and I wasn't sure about the hyper competent thing, but he definitely had a good head on his shoulders at least. Though Ari and Kek almost got into a fight, I learned something very useful from it, namely, that a god's magic could effect other gods. I appreciated Abigail's quick thinking in defusing the situation, and gave a silent thank you while continuing to listen in on the conversation.

"Well, I don't think trying to rob another god is a great idea if you want to avoid a war between familia, but other than that, I see no reason to refuse. With any luck I can get a class change done and finally lose my Dark Knight of Vice class, and work towards an advanced class that I'd be better with. As long as we can keep some money to buy better supplies for ourselves, and we don't get sent back to Wadirma when this is all over, this is a pretty great deal." I said, following Kek to the Pillar of Heaven.

"Nice to formally meet you by the way, I'm William." I said, offering a handshake to Terry. "I'm a pretty big fan of the isekai genre, and Re: Zero is my favorite. Also liked Steins;Gate, Plastic Memories, Mob Psycho 100, and My Hero Academy, to name a few. Wonder if I'll ever get to watch those again..." I trailed off, thinking a bit about everything and everyone I lost access to when I died.

"The uh, marshmallow skin thing is a long story, basically the consequence of messing with my class ability without proper precautions." I explained, wincing a bit at the comment that I was the funniest man in the world. "That's... another thing I can explain later." I said, half mumbling, embarrassed by the spotlight Kek had put on me.

Emiya blushes. "That's... a new step in our relationship."

Kek calls another person to his side. "This is my personal aide, Clara. She will manage all Familia business for the month of December." I just see eugenics as a way to gradually enhance society while you see it as a solution to a problem.

Death Count: You have a perfect count of every kill you have made organised as you
please, and an instinctive understanding of everything you encounter’s
weaknesses on every level physical, mental, and spiritual. This applies
to people and their psychology.

Strengths
Under Pressure: When things are down to the wire you always seem composed and
confident where others bend and break. Bonus to retaining composure.

Crunch Time: You’re at your best when things are at their worst. All checks are easier
when calamity looms. Bonus during crisis such as being near death, attempting to save near death teammates and other high risk situations.

Born to Run: The result of one of a rare few commitments, short bursts of incredible
speed and endless charges across the land are possible. Terrain and
encumbrance are meaningless in the face of your lust for speed.

Reaper Aspirant:
Although your Death Perception is blocked by the city's barrier, the knowlege of how to destroy hasn't left. It's easier to see flaws in an enemy's fighting style, and enemy weaknesses are easier to intuit. Training is also a bit easier due to your experience finding your own flaws. It's nowhere close to what you had, but it's a start.

Veteran Warrior:
This isn't your first rodeo, you are equipted with the basic warrior class of a different fantasy world, and thus have a baseline of High in all weapon skills.

Weaknesses
Can’t be Assed: You find it incredibly difficult to commit yourself to tasks you don't enjoy,
even if they would take little effort to complete. You're just going to have to find a way to make yourself do it.

Intense Presence: Your stoic demeanor and curt manner of speaking paired with strongly
held convictions make people unfamiliar with you anxious or even
fearful.

Hard to Read: Your constant deadpan makes you difficult to understand, often leading
to misunderstandings.

I don’t consider eugenics at all really. The way I see it humanity as we know it is on borrowed time. Eugenics is supposed to be a slow and gradual process but your idea cuts its efficiency in half which drags out the process without any longterm benefit attached. The problem is that in your hypothetical, you want to preserve society. Simply removing 25% of males in what amounts to one fell swoop would have a disastrous effect on any society Removing 85% would be unthinkable. On the other hand I care little about society, in fact I care little about humanity as a whole but the aim is still to preserve them nonetheless. By gradually removing the unfit both male and female, you’ll at the very least have a small chance of maintaining society and preserving humanity.

Shi says "I'm going to find a god who can offer me something. You're welcome to follow me."
The Pillar of Heaven has a calm, Zen environment, with white pavement on the floor and crystal sculptures of snakes. For historical reference, it has been constructed by the goddess Nüwa back when Heaven was about to crumble on Earth. The Adventurer's Guild has made the first floors of the Pillar its HQ. The best part is that it's hosted by female yokai dressed in schoolgirl outfits. Ari, Terry, William, Abigail, Catia, Aimee, Anon and the Conductor all sign the Familia papers. Seeing that everyone followed Kek, Shi follows them and arrives last.

"Congratulations! Now that you've signed the papers, we're all best friends!" Clara exclaims. "I'm going to show you our new school, now." She looks at Shi and bites her lower lip. "Ehhhhh! I'm so sorry, you're too late to register. Kek-sama specifically said." She imitates his cavernous voice. "YOU CAN ONLY REGISTER 8 NEW PERSONS, NO MORE, AS THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH BEDROOMS IN MY PYRAMID FOR MORE." She takes back her normal voice. "Ahhh! Don't be sad, I'll give you a big Smoochie Smoochie." She jumps in Shi's arms and give him a few kisses on his face and head.

Clara then brings the new members of Kek's Familia to the pyramid. "That's a nice town right? A lot of yummy humans here." Kek lives in a 3 story pyramid. It's not very well-maintaned and tree roots jut from its sides, in a rift between the foundations. Every room is decorated with a statue of Keket, his wife, and lotus blossoms. Kek is not too fond of modern technology such as electricity, so he uses old-school torches to illuminate the rooms at night time. "Kek is napping right now. Please everyone, make yourself comfortable and choose a bedroom. I'll call for you later so that we can play together." There are only four bedrooms, each with decently comfortable bunk beds, a wooden chest and a wardrobe.
>>
Chase, Owen, and possibly Shi are gathered among the crowd on the central plaza. Loki, the god of clowns, honks his horn. "Honk! Honk! Everyone, may I have your attention, please? I am Loki, Æsir extraordinaire and chief architect of Ragnarök. You may refer to me as "His Eminence."" He honks his horn more. "This delightful instrument is my horn. When I honk, it means that you must be quiet and listen. I am now going to choose new children to invite to my Familia. I'm not going to invite just anyone, so we'll have a test of Agility to decide who gets to join. Agility is the most important ability to survive the Danjon, as well as to be a successful clown, so I hope that your performance will be acceptable." He gets red clown noses out of his bag. "Come get your clown nose if you want to participate."
>>

What was all of this about then?

>>3949505
>"Are there any particular guidelines for us “children”?"
"Killing other people is forbidden.. But more than anything, do not kill the children of another god, otherwise that god could declare us war, which would be bad news."

"I'm not sure I want to wear this... thing." Emiya says, sighing.

"Don't worry, it's not going to hurt." Loki forcibly puts the red nose on her. "All right. The Test of Agility is very simple. I sing, you twerk. You will be rated on how agile your moves are."

"What? I categorically refuse. I’m a priestess and… This is indecent." Emiya answers. Her cheeks are all red, which makes her look rather cute.

The clown god sings.
"So fair was Baby Loki,
And his gaze was kind,
Oh-ho, little snowflakes are falling,
White winter's wonderland.
With his Wand to heal all frost,"
He winks at Emiya, the cold beauty from the North.
"His leaves and trees to grow.
So fair was Baby Loki,
His heart was never wrong."

Entering the Pillar of Heaven, it was nice to take in the sights. The medieval fantasy world was always pretty cool, but I didn't really get to appreciate any of it back in Wadirma. Seeing the place being staffed by women in school uniforms was... odd... i mean, why on earth have that be the uniform? Then I remembered this place was run by gods, and you wouldn't find any group more eccentric than that. Still, at least whoever was in charge here had good taste, though I tried to make sure I didn't let my eyes linger anywhere.

Once the paperwork was done, we had arrived at Kek's pyramid, I made sure the camel wouldn't run off or starve, gathered my original clothes from my past life, and found a place inside to get changed. It felt good to be wearing comfortable clothes again, even if they could use a wash and I could use a shower- wait, does Kek's place have proper plumbing? Oh gosh I really hope it does. I've only been in this world for a few days, but I've already greatly missed toilets. Checking out the rooms, I secured myself a bottom bunk due to my weight and tendency to roll around in my sleep, and buried my face in my pillow while laying in bed.

It felt so nice to have a bed again. Even with Luqman's pillows, sleeping in the desert had been very unpleasant. Honestly, as wary as I was about Kek and other capricious gods, I was overjoyedvto be out of ghe desert.

"May Wadirma never play a relevant role in my life, ever again." I said, before finally rolling out of bed and adjusting my glasses.

Okay, time to get to work. After dividing our funds evenly, I had been left with six silver, and five copper (the girls each having 5 silver and 15 copper). Adding my desert clothes to the camel outside of the pyramid, I decided it'd be a good idea to sell the camel, sandstorm proof tent, and desert clothes, along with Luqman's pillows, and see about gathering information on class changes and how to properly prepare for dungeon crawling. I'd definitely remember to buy a torch this time, at least.

If anyone in Kek's familia asked what I was doing, I'd happily tell them, and if anyone wanted to come with me, I'd let them.

Chase twerks like pro, shaking his posterior vigourously at the rythmn of Loki's glorious song. Loki subtly increases the tempo to a devilish speed, but Chase manages to keep up. This is the result of thourough eugenics, a champion of parkour, the finest specimen produced by mankind. One girl in the public exclaims. "Oh my!"

Chase says to Emiya, "If it matters that little to you, feel free to shack up with the goddess of disloyal harlots, she should be around here somewhere."

"I'm a follower of Evylivon, and I'm very loyal..." she answers, blushing more.

Shi puts on his red nose and twerks even better than Chase. Loki's maddening song puts him in a trance, and he utters cries and moans of ecstasy as he's twerking. The tension is palpable; some women in the audience whistle and call his name.

Loki honks. "Okay, that was pretty decent. You two can join my Familia. Anyone else up for the challenge? The difficulty will increase next round."

They can also let Kek decide randomly for them. She says that letting Kek decide for you is the best possible option, because Kek is a god thus has godly wisdom, and also, it can unlock secret prestige classes.

Devapura's Great Market is indoor, with neon lights and corrugated metal walls, dotted with shelves and stalls selling all kinds of goods. >I was hoping I'd have found advice on what to bring with you when dungeon crawling
Carla says to William: "You should bring slippers. I bring mine, Connor and Murphy, everywhere. Also a wand of electricity to kill all monsters... And maybe a magnifying glass?"

>Can I keep spinning
She winks. "You can change class once as part of Kek's blessing. Theorically, you could change your class repeatedly until you get the best one, but then some angels of law might not be too happy about it and track you down. And then, KABOOM." William notices that while she was speaking, she somehow climbed on his back.

>"Will I also lose my combat skills?"
"Yes, if you change class, you can say bye-bye to your combat skills."

>"I will join you Loki"
Loki answers to Owen: "OK, you can join. Please twerk on my next song if you want to have some fun."

>If you do the twerking I might even have time to take you on a date.
"You want me to twerk in front of all those people like... a common harlot?" Her face is completely red, now. "What kind of date are you talking about? W... Would you bring me to the opera? Fine. M... May the color of this nose represent the intensity of my feelings for you."

Loki sings his second Christmas carol. The priestess bends over and twerks torridly like a wild lioness. She pulls her posterior up and starts grinding against Shi's body, before dropping to her knees. She twerks madly, squealing as her hips make little circle movements. But on the third verse, Loki starts singing at an unpredictable, crazed tempo. He bellows, "Santa Claus is coming to town!" Each time he says the word "Santa", his godly voice echoes and deafens the listeners. She sweats and tries to keep up with the rhythm, but she can't. This is a failure.

>Ah yes, you're the very platonic ideal of loyalty and piety.
She doesn't even hear your insults. You don't exist in her mind, because Shi catches 100% of her attention.

"Wand of Electricity, Slippers, and a Magnifying Glass." I repeat, memorizing the three suggestions. Though the slippers didn't sound useful, I figure it'd be better to buy some anyway just in case. You never know with this crazy world.

"Okay, guess I'll give it one more spin as per Kek's free class change, and if turns out horribly I'll become a sorcerer and hope the angel will accept an earnest apology and not kill me." I surmised. Honestly as long as I wasn't summoning demons anymore I felt I'd be fine, but I still felt a pang of anxiety that my luck would somehow get worse. It was difficult to keep Clara on my back during her explanation however, and I couldn't help but mumble a "Please get off, I'm not a mountain." As I endured.

Once I had spun the wheel once, and changed my class either once or twice, I'd return to the marketplace to search for the items Clara mentioned.

While Emiya's twerk was absolutely wild, Owen's twerk is more controlled and technical, using a more subtle rhythm that makes it more naturally graceful. Where Emiya's is full of flair and extreme intensity, Owen's is flashy and effortless, bouncing on his toes and gracefully twerking in front of a smiling audience. He moves his hips and spine before swaying his legs and swiping his hips back and forth. Though he's winning his fight, Owen seems to be having a hard time deciding between his twerking and rolling around in the mud. The dreadful Santa verse. Owen gets nervous, trying to feel the music with all his newfound strength. That's all he knows. But he's willing to give it all up. You don't perform the twerk, you feel the twerk. He shakes hard, exhausted, moving faster than everyone around him. The twerk becomes an explosion of movement, a visceral realisation of the moment and the strength of his own body. He becomes swaying in the air, twerking with all his might. A success.

Loki honks his horn. "Okay, that was some mad twerking. Congratulations, everyone. Let's all go to the Pillar now, to register your Familia membership. "

Shi, Emiya, Chase and Owen all sign the paperwork.

"Let's visit my mansion, now."

Loki lives in a trailer on the side of the road. It's small but rather comfortable; there is a bed for him, and another bed for his children. His trailer looks like an otaku room and is decorated with various anime dolls and manga collections. There's a picture of the great wolf Fenrir hanging on the wall. He invites his new children to choose a waifu pillow from his collection. He has one of a spider monstergirl, a pink-haired schoolgirl, Ebola-chan, Plague-chan and Hatsune Miku.

He then explains what the blessings are about, and tells them to choose a new class, if they want to.

William waits for Kek to wake up from his nap. (Possibly, he plays with Carla.) The god makes his triumphant entry.

"So, you want to spin the wheel? Good choice, I'm proud of you."

The wheel spins and spins, with Clara anxious to see the result and jumping in every direction.
"William, my son, You are now a demonologist. This is an advanced summoner class. A mage who studies demons and makes pacts with them. The summoning ritual is simple, you just have to draw a pentagram on the floor with your own blood and recite a simple incantation of your choice, and a demon that matches your magic level will answer your call. This demon will wear a slave collar, as required by the laws of Devapura, to show that it's not harmful to the general population. Moreover, you will be able to cast generic spells related to the concept of corruption."

Clara applauds. "Congratulations, William. This is a really nice class. I'm a demon myself."
Jackson asks what class leads best to the art of building and enchanting. Kek takes a minute to think about this difficult question.

"Well, out of the four generic classes, it's certain that the sorcerer class is best. But out of the 10,000 possible classes that you can get by spinning the wheel, I'm thinking that magical tinker is what you're after."

>William loses everything related to his previous class, except the pink skin and the nose
>He gains the Strength "Demon Summoning"
>He gains the Skill "Corruption Magic" with a rank equal to his Willpower score

Yes, warrior counts as a class. So you can keep it or choose something else.

"Fortune-Teller. You can use the I Ching to calculate people's fortune and their affinity with the five elements: wood, fire, earth, metal and water. Erm." Kek clears his throat, which makes a strange wet sound. "I'm not going to say that this a nice class, but I suppose, it can be useful."

I turn to the others and say "Dibs on the bed" I then turn to Emiya grab her hand and say "I'm a man of my word let's go out on the town and see an opera."
I go out for a night in town with Emyia. I sell my potions and powders to an alchemist shop. I got to an adventures shop look through their wares and buy some supplies for Emiya and myself (after you tell me what they have i'll pick what I buy). I then go to an opera with Emiya and pretend to care about the show. While it goes on I think "The story of these gods doesn't add up how could my orginal earth be hell and the world I transported to be heaven this seems fishy, but until I've established my power I have no time to worry about that." After the opera is over as the sun sets I give Emiya my jeweld dagger and say "A gift from me to you. May it protect you when I'm away and it's jewels remind you of the eternal love I have for you." I then rent a room at an inn for Emiya and myself and fuck her brains out.

Playing around with Clara was fun, and helped the time go by while I waited for Kek to return, when the wheel gave me YET ANOTHER DEMON RELATED CLASS, I fell to my knees in despair.

"Gosh dang it." I muttered to myself, but then Clara's congratulations gave me pause. If any demon from any work of fiction could be summoned, there were certainly at least a few that would actually be fairly trustworthy from what I remember. Then there was the corruption magic, which was vague enough to be interesting. Just what exactly could corruption magic do, anyway?

Of course, then there was the problem of the slave collar. I was really against the idea of slavery, and using a class that would enslave anyone, even demons, made my stomach ache. To say nothing of needing to use my own blood! I don't know if I have it in me to willingly cut myself to the degree I'd need to draw a full pentagram...

"Gosh dang it, if I change my class again I could get in trouble with an angel of law, and who knows how merciful or powerful they are! Is there a way to talk to one and try and plead my case to see if I can get approval or a fee of some sort for the class change, or is it a thing where they'll instantly try to kill me no matter what? Can I unsummon demons at any time, or are they here forever? How likely are they to try and kill me, and how much power do I have over them? Do they have to follow the spirit of a command or just the literal words of one?" I asked Kek, trying to gain more knowledge about ny class.

After he's done shopping, Chase chills out on the bed with Loki, both holding their waifu pillows. They play cards and talk about the ills of society and the icky thoughts that haunt them. The joker card is, of course, a representation of the god. In their conversations, Loki explains that his goal is to create a world full of magic that would be able to fight against him. As the most powerful entity in the multiverse, or so he claims, he often feels unstimulated. Only the mortal life that he experiences in Devapura can entertain him a little bit.

"How can I achieve the Armsmaster class?" Chase asks.

"By finding a proper trainer. Your best bet is to climb fast the ranks of the Adventurer's guild, because they offer all kind of services to their members. I will show you what an Armsmaster looks like."

Loki gives the Armsmaster class to Miyashita Emiya, who was waiting for his blessing.

"An Armsmaster is simply an advanced fighter who has specialized in a few type of weapons."

"But... I don't really like fighting." Emiya answers. "I don't know if it will be very useful."

Shi and Emiya have better things to do and they leave. Eventually, Loki confronts Chase. "Chase, Owen looks exactly like you, and he never talks. Does he happen to be a tulpa or some sort of clone?"

As he asks this questions, a creature appears in front of them. It's a Varakhut, a creature of law with harsh and aggressive shapes and elongated pyramids for arms. The Varakhut brays and howls like a demon with an unrivaled appetite for humans and their meat. It looks in Owen's direction, claws out for a bite. It has to pause before he can speak. "I am Judge Uks, and you have been judged guilty by divine right. You have broken the following law: "Thou shalt not bring divine cheats to Devapura." You are a legal problem, and it is my right to punish you."

Loki jumps from his bed and honks his horn. "Everyone stay calm. This is a very high level town guard. It's likely to kill all of us."

Only Chase, Owen and Mark are present.

Meanwhile, Emiya and Shi go to the opera and watch "The Rape of the Sabine Women", featuring Caeso Claudius Fastidius in the role of Romulus, and written by the god Apollo. This is a wonderful spectacle, full of subtle, devilish and flattering depictions of romance, revenge, love and youth. The opera begins with a charming overture where they are introduced and pay homage to the fallen Roman heroes. This overture is over twice the length of the actual opera, and it does not contain any wordplay. The love sequences are usually iconic and charming and accompanied by a glorious orchestra. All of the lyrics are written in Latin, but a translation has never been completed.

After the opera is over as the sun sets, Shi give Emiya his jeweled dagger and says: "A gift from me to you. May it protect you when I'm away and it's jewels remind you of the eternal love I have for you."

Emiya accepts it and holds it to her heart. "You are my most treasured possession, Shi. Of all the things that exist, you are the greatest. I will faithfully wear this dagger as a mark of respect for you. I am extremely grateful for your existence. Thank you so very much."

Since Clara fainted, Kek answers. "Yes. The angels of law work as guards of this city. So you can find them at the barracks. But I warn you, it's not a good place to visit. They are the personification of the dark side of life; intolerance of individuality, unbridled rage and perversity. They have somehow gained the responsibility to protect this city, but I fear their mindlessness will one day destroy all of us. My tongue hurts just to mention their name. This is a Familia of freedom, and we stand against the tyranny of the inevitable."

"Clara, let's not antagonize the local law enforcement." I advise, worried our entire familia could get in trouble from that. Unfortunately no matter how I look at it, another class change is too risky if it brings one of those angels here. As uncomfortable as I am being a demonologist, I think I'll have to stick with it... Nope, can't do it. "Kek, please remove the blessing of the Demonologist class. I'll just go without a class if changing again will get me in trouble. Maybe there's a way to learn magic normally, but regardless there's too many things I'm uncomfortable with about being a Demonologist. Between needing to spill my own blood and enslaving another being to my will, it just doesn't sit right with me." I explain with a sigh. Hopefully I could find some trainers in this city for combat and/or magic while I try to shop for the wand, slippers, and magnifying glass. Once my class is removed, I head back into town to try and shop for Clara's suggestions as well as ask about for any training available.

I happily discuss philosophy and the virtues of the harlequin aesthetic with Loki, and I was just about to mention my shy younger brother before this retarded triangle elemental starts screeching.

I mentally brace myself for an agonizing conversation with an insufferable lawfag.

"You are mistaken Elohiem, my brother has committed no crime, as he lacks the ability to violate the divine mandate and does not possess a cheat of his own."

Do I get Fighting skill with my class? I've done well in combat thus far. Owen is actually my brother and is close enough to me to have the same id at times. He told me he's not talking much because he's new.

Actually, he can become an angelologist

Kek is getting really annoyed. "William, William, William. What's the issue here? How many of my wonderful gifts are you going to waste?"

Clara takes a deep breath. "KEK-SAMA, I don't like this at all. How can you get mad at William-chi? Isn't he just the best human friend of ours? He's the only one who's played with me so far." She pleads, with a hint of anxiety in her voice.

"Hmm. Maybe you are right." Kek puts his paws on his temples, meaning that he's thinking hard. "William, if you use your blood ritual magic to summon an angel, then you could change your class from demonologist to angelologist. That would be a complete reversal of your class, but it would be completely natural. How about you give it a try?"

Angelologist: A mage who studies angels and makes pacts with them. The summoning ritual is simple, you just have to draw a pentagram on the floor with scented oils, and recite a simple prayer of your choice, and an angel that matches your magic level will answer your call. Moreover, you will be able to cast generic spells related to the concept of purification.

(From the rolls above, there are no trainers available to someone who doesn't have an Adventurer's Guild rank.)

Meanwhile, Abigail, Catia and Aimee come back from their shopping spreed, giggling. With the money that William gave them, they bought new clothes, purses, shoes and decorative stuffed animals. Abigail mentions that she spent 10 copper on bras, 10 copper on underwear and 15 copper on makeup. Catia, who's a tomboy, got a new, shorter haircut, and she asks William if she looks good. Aimee is more efficient, and she asks William for more money, so that she can get a pedicure.
Here are the costs for the items from the indoor market.

Kek being annoyed with me was, actually, completely understandable. Still, I was thankful for Clara's intervention.

Angelologist, huh? Sounds goo-wait a second, if the angels of law here are terrifying jerks, then couldn't I end up with something just as bad!? Then again, Clara is a demon and is fairly kind, it's more the slave collar and needing to cut myself that I had issues with, which this class apparently avoids entirely.

It's basically an aesthetic change until we get to purification magic, which would actually be useful in entirely different ways from corruption. I guess it's worth a try. As soon as I become a recognized adventurer however, I'll be working on gaining strength that's under my own power. My problem here is the same as with my last class, and the Priest class I originally considered: ultimately all my strength comes from the whims of someone else. I'll have to fix that later on.

I was happy to see the girls return with smiles on their faces. After our time in Wadirma we could all use a vacation, but hearing how they had spent all their money on comforts instead of anything useful for the upcoming dungeon was... concerning.

And Aimee even asked me for more money!

"Unfortunately I can't really spare anything at the moment, I'm still trying to secure supplies for my new class and our trip to the dungeon. Don't want a repeat of last time where we got stuck in the dark." I explained, hoping our shared unpleasant experience of Wadirma's dungeon would convince them to focus on the task at hand.

From there, I found out a wand of electricity was FIFTY-FOUR GOLD, and immediately wrote that off as something I'll never be able to buy. The slippers and magnifying glass were nice, and I also bought one extra set of clothes, two torches, and a pack for carrying more supplies myself with ease while dungeon crawling. Of course, I also bought some scented oils, and once I was back in my room (who was my roommate anyway?) I began drawing a pentagram on the floor.

"Okay, time to test this out." I said, taking a deep breath as I got on my knees and clasped my hands together in prayer. "I pray today to beseech the angels of this world for aid. If it is your will, please come down to earth to aid my friends and I in our endeavors, that we may return from the dungeon safely, and grow in strength and wisdom. Amen." Ultimately I figured praying to another god or goddess was a no go, as they would likely have a familia of their own in this city, but surely there was an angel of some uninvolved god, or one unaffiliated with any gods themselves, that would be willing to help out.

Really, I had no idea what I was doing, but I had to try.

A bright light appear in the center of the pentagram. As the light rises in an oval shape, it bends over to the left to form the letter K. The angel Kustel appears, surrounded by a circle of smoke. He does not say his name, but you intuitively know it. The light slowly reaches the opening of the pentagram, passing through the angel's two wings. The angel becomes more visible and then the light disappears. He has blue, compassionate eyes and a long, flowing beard. The angel remains silent, almost in awe. Kustel slowly moves his head to the right. His wings open, revealing long, white crescent-shaped feathers. He's an angel of healing who can heal by touching the body of the wounded. Also, he has made a vow of silence, and does not speak. You feel relaxed in his presence.

How much did that all cost?

Amazed that it worked so well the first time, I'm silent for a moment before quickly getting to my feet and giving a bow.

"Thank you for answering my call for help, Kustel," I say, rising back up from the bow before continuing, "your healing magic will definitely come in handy. Abigail is a priest of Aphrodite, but I'm not sure what her powers are yet, and if she lost focus in the middle of a fight..." I trailed off, "I'll be relying on you to help keep them and myself alive. Oh! I know you took an oath of silence, but can you read and write? If you have any requests for equipment let me know, or if you answered my summons on accident, let me know that too. I don't want to force anyone here against their will." I explain, looking for materials Kustel could use to write with. Remembering my actual class was 'Demonologist', I was wary about accidentally doing the same to angels as I was supposedly able to do to demons, that is, binding them to my will without their consent. The last thing I wanted was to be like Luqman and his gang.

You’re really going to allow Shi Nye the Science guy to drag you into a pointless fight with no protest, not even a spark of hesitation? On a tactical standpoint you do have the advantage, you have more money and resources than the other side and for all I know it may be an outright slaughter.

From a gameplay and narrative perspective however, doing so would only devolve the thread. Once most of the sentient players are out what are you going to do? By that point you can either blaze through the dungeon or get killed in it. With this setting’s extremely limited scope and scale there won’t be much to do if you mindlessly stick to the script.
>>
>>3952858
It’s not gambling if the outcome is well known. Barring several horrible rolls (which I know won’t happen to any of you) you’ll reduce your enemies to cadavers within a hour or two in-game.
>>
>>3952860
I agree that this plot is pretty damn lame but sometimes you're just not playing for an engaging story.

Sometimes you play for that very particular flavor of erotic roleplay wherein you penetrate several naive young children in front of a giant crowd of people.
>>
>>3952867
Oi aren't we going to be their enemies? (I mean, Ari is at least, right? I get you managed to loophole out of it) why you telling them they're gonna kill all of us? Don't you want Ari to live?
>>
>>3952879
Well, barring magical intervention, people die when they are killed William.

>>
>>3952888
We'll see about that. I doubt you and your pussy will lay so much as a finger on me before you are set on fire both inside and out.
>>
>>3952896
Effective spellcasting, in my Mythic? It's less likely than you think.
>>
>>3952902
OP said spell casting has been very effective in his quest. So I doubt i'll have to much trouble especially with my luck.
>>
>>3952903
Whatever you say Mr. Average Will. That said, I'm sorry team Kek but if there's no resurrection safety net Ari is going to have to say arrivederci when it's time to fight.
>>
>>3952878
I doubt you’ll be doing any of that, Dave. I don’t need a sprawling, intricate story but if you follow Shi’s lead this whole thing will become a slog with extra grind at a very slow pace.

>>3952879
If she dies, she dies. In all seriousness I’ll try to keep her out of the massacre as best as possible but I don’t control her. She’s very likely to heed my warnings but we’ll see what happens. As for the fight itself William, you’re at a huge disadvantage. In a straight up fight one member of the Loki crew is worth at least 1-3 members of the Kek squad. They have better weapons, proper armor, and magic on their side. You’re pretty much the mvp given your angel summoning skills. A summon killed off Wade fairly easily so if you can pick off a few of their number (preferably in an enclosed space) you might give as good as you get. Tactics aside, things aren’t looking good for you in any tangible facet of battle aside from the numbers advantage.
>>
OP can I use wisdom for casting. Visualization is more about your wisdom than willpower. To properly visualize somthing you need to be have the knowledge and experience to think of somthing vivid and detailed these are qualties of wisdom. Willpower is about controlling and restraing one's self which is the antithesis of the vivid imagination need for visualization. Thus I think you should let me use wisdom instead of willpower for casting.
>>
>>3952896
I certainly doubt you can cast a spell once an angry cat is turning your face to hamburger

If I were following Who's lead I would be robbing convenience stores and publishing prizewinning research papers.

Jackson has the reason it's Will right here. You have to hold a complex spell pattern in your mind while in the midst of a deadly brawl to the death. It's about retaining composure and exerting your will on the world. Anyone can imagine a fireball, it takes willpower to make one real.

Dang. All I wanted was to have comfy fantasy adventures. I didn't want to get enslaved in a desert and have to kill people, only to get stuck in a dungeon then teleported to a city where I'm going to have to kill or be killed by other people.

Kek's an asshole.
>>
>>3952937
Well, you have a ton of high quality weapons and no armor, it makes sense to go trade up some of the excess so we can have armor. Armor is supposedly really good, and I'd rather not walk into the Arena or Dungeon wearing a blue hoodie and jeans.

>>
>>3952744
Just a question, Kek said that he hopes to never be involved in a familia war, so I'm confused as to why one is going to happen tomorrow, especially considering that there hasn't been any real interfaction conflict. I thought we would start with dungeon shit and then escalate if conflict occurred later on.

I'm sorry to say but this fight is going to be an absolute massacre in our current state. I think we should have some PvE before team Kek get's thrown into the meatgrinder like a newly formed Planetary Defense Force.
>>
>>3952964
Team kek has numbers i think the teams are fairly balanced. We should just start the fight after everyone has gotten their gear.

I wasn’t on board with this either. In fact I think only Anonknight outright approved of this change and he didn’t really have a strong opinion on the matter.

My apologies, I had missed your post.
You will be a priest, a champion of a deity of your choice (by default: Kek).

>>3952590
>How much did that all cost?
One set of clothes = 5 copper
Two torches = 2 iron
Pack = 8 copper
Scented oil flask (lavender) = 3 copper
Scented oil flask (peppermint) = 2 copper

>Can you read and write?
He doesn't answer, but he put his hand on your shoulders. Energy flows through you, and you feel the energy coalesce from within. Your mind is flooded with a strong, healthy energy. Your eyes open wide as the corruption of your previous class leaves your body.

>>3952633
Loki hands you a rusty dagger and a small vial of poison. "I'm not rolling on money myself. Use those precious items wisely."

Knowledge(Poison): You sniff the vial of poison and identify it as a basic, low-grade poison but still dangerous. Use Caution. Apply this poison on your blade or through your opponent's orifices and it will paralyze them for a short period of time. It's a mix of curare and deadly spider venom.

>>3952682
>Ask if I can learn other animal languages
Neither Kek nor Larry knows. But it's likely that you can speak the dog language due to your affinity with them. You would have to find one to know for certain.

>Also, ask if there is someone I could learn combat from
Kek doesn't know and doesn't care about this subject.

>Where a place I could earn some money
Kek doesn't know very much about menial labor or other earthly topics either. He says that the best place to earn some quick money is the Danjon. However, the concept of a pet shop catches his interest. He says that the Familia should run an animal shelter specifically for frogs, wolves (Ari) and cats (Larry).

>Also, Larry, what's your opinion on dogs?
Larry has a strong Italian accent and he rolls the R's when speaking. "I like all animals. I only attack and eat them when I'm hungry. If you give me milk everyday, I'll be very happy-nya."

>>3952734
>I am and try using my cheats if it still works
Your cheats do not work inside of this city.

>Hey Loki I know Ive been silent for this long can I get sum classes too?
"Yes, I give you the Con Artist class. This is a class where you don't do anything except scam others out of their money. If your party members complain, you can just scam them repeatedly until they forget about it. I think that it will suit you very well. Needless to say, it's also part of my own skill set."

Loki takes Emiya's clown nose and throws it on the floor, in a fit of anger. "I gave you a clown nose, a symbol of fun and impermanence. I gave you a good advanced class, and you rejected. You rejected the blessing of a god, no less. I feel degraded. Don't think I'm taking this lightly. This time, you will be a simple thief."

"Sorry... I didn't mean to offend you. It's just that I'm just more or less... scared of fighting." Emiya blushes, leaning back. "I'm sorry."

Potion of Resist Fear: Two purple and syrupy potions that seem to be much closer to jello than any water
Potion of Resist Law: Two small potions that change heat and colour every second, hidden behind the rest
Powder of Detect Invisibility: Two small, brown bags filled with pouches of a shimmering, multicoloured powder
Potion of Healing: One green and bubbling potion that seem to warm his hand through the glass

Potion of Cure Illness: cures all illnesses that are not supernatural in nature
Potion of Resist Fear: + 2 RS to resist fear, lasts one hour

The crowd inside of Ganesha's Colosseum is hysterical, screaming, cheering, crying, clapping, banging pots and pans. The crowd reaches a frenzy at the sight of 3,500 Vedic soldiers dressed in full armor: the elite army of Ganesha, the elephant god. At the moment, everyone is drunk on wine and soma. The pagan gods are sitting there laughing, drinking out of crystal cups, and conversing with the young warriors, waiting for the next battle. Behind them, the music is slowly getting louder. Suddenly, dozen of people appear in the middle of the arena, confused, unprepared. Some of them were still shopping, others were napping or working in the streets. Those are the players who have been caught in the schemes of the frog gods Kek and Loki, who hold a Familia War on a monthly basis just for fun.

In a Familia War, the loser must give to the winner anything that they request. Sometimes, this is deadly for the gods, and they are sent back to Heaven. However, this is also the major form of entertainment in the city of Devapura. You are to slaughter the other team, until only one team remains.

Rules:
1) Teleportation in and out of the arena is blocked
2) If the participants take too long to kill each other, monsters will be summoned inside of the arena
3) The arena might be configured with other magical properties, which are up to the participants to discover

TEAM KEK

Kustel, angel of healing
Jackson, beastmaster
Larry, leopard cat
Anon, priest

TEAM LOKI
Shi, sorcerer

I'm thinking about using a point system so that the players can choose in which class-related skills they put points in. There's a Mythic chapter dedicated to it. Oh, it's a familia war, now I'm expected to kill people in another god's familia, because... Kek finds it fun? Wasn't he going on about wanting to avoid this earlier? This doesn't make any- oh wait. Kek lied, didn't he?

Well, if I get out of here, the first thing I'm doing is getting the fuck out of Kek's familia, my only regret is that it won't really hurt Kek in any way, and I'd really like to punch him in the face right now.

Well, maybe the other team is as reluctant to fight as I am-

>“Scram asshats! Also toss me dem gold coins and your stuff because I told you so, might help me decide not to chop you in half”

Okay, negotiating seems off the table.

"As much as I'd love not to be here, it doesn't seem like we can choose to leave. I'm really sorry that we have to fight!" I say to the opposing team. These people aren't Luqman and his gang, they haven't done anything to offend me, but...

"I really hate this, but it's kill or be killed right now. Abigail, work with Kustel on healing and support, Catia, Aimee, I switched my class so I can't fight as well as you two anymore, but if you'll take the front line I'll join you anyway." I say, unsheathing my Scimitar. I couldn't think of any offensive use for purification magic off the top of my head, which meant random sword swinging was gonna have to work. "Ari, and the rest of you I never got to talk to, I trust you all know what you're doing. Good luck!" I say to my teammates as I move forward to at least be a threatening distraction and do my best to survive.

>I think we should have some PvE before team Kek get's thrown into the meatgrinder
I would agree. However, the reason that I came up with the concept of Familia War is to make the number of players manageable. QM Frog burnt out because he couldn't keep up with the posts. I know my own limit is 3-4 players. With a war, it drops the number of players but still gives a chance to everyone.

This is a one shot to test out a multiplayer game that doesn't drive the QM crazy. The simplest setting: one town, one dungeon. The good news is that I set the bar so low, and even held a twerk challenge, that anyone could do a better job as a QM. The losing team could make their own thread.

Ideally, players could jump from thread to thread with their inventory and NPCs. It means that when a QM disappears, yes, you might lose narrative continuity, but not the efforts you invested into your character. From what I'm reading in /qtg/, disappearing QMs are a recurrent problem. Also, since Mythic is improvised except for the intro, it means that we can have one thread with multiple QMs.

If anyone want to try out co-QMing, you can QM in this thread, I don't mind. Just make a post to notify me which posts you're going to handle before you write, so that we don't both respond at the same time. And that doesn't mean handling items to your own character, but giving it a genuine try.

It will take a long time regardless, right now it’s a 9 vs 5 fight. Unless Wux wants to do it the quick and dirty way and just nuke on side within a few turns, this is going to take at least today and tomorrow to get it done. We only have about 4 hours left as it is as far as processing rolls and narrating the outcome goes.

William, known as "Throat Cutter" for the countless desert bandits he has slain, moves forward. He's a man who has survived the oasis, who has endured mental and physical torture, who has attempted to escape this hell by crossing the desert himself several times before. Following his example, Abigail and Aimee brandish their scimitars.

Mark waves Trick Fears, the artefact sword, menacingly. “Scram asshats! Also toss me dem gold coins and your stuff because I told you so, might help me decide not to chop you in half. Just drop your weapons and let us kill you in peace.”

It instills fear within Kek Familia's ranks, who were forming a hesitant offensive line behind their alpha male. They are all reminded about the reality of this situation. That they are in an arena, with nearly 100,000 spectators who are waiting for them to die in the most gruesome way possible. In front of them, they don't have an amateur, they have a seasoned warrior who has in his hands a powerful weapon.

>Your Holiness Kustel, this is a fight between mortals not of your kin nor does this squabble earn you any honor. I hope you find it in you to be fair and just as the virtues taken by your people. In any case, if you do stay loyal to that blasphemer who fettered tour wings for his own whims. Please do resurrect us back as we are only pawns in a larger game. Hope you choose and choose well.
His Holiness Kustel is mute and does not flinch.

Aimee is frozen in fear. She can't even hold her weapon in her hand and let it drop on the floor. Larry hides behind Jackson's shadow; he's but a shaken, traumatised kitten. The fear is contagious, and Ari, Abigail, and Jackson are all feeling shaken too. There's no escape. Any attempt to escape will result in their death.

Only the Throat Cutter is unaffected. Chase throws a dagger at him, but it doesn't even penetrate his target's aura of purity. You would need more than this toothpick to hurt the legendary warrior. The real fight is only about to begin. The crowd scands "Throat Cutter! Throat Cutter!" Kek's cavernous voice covers all. "WILLIAM. USE THE FORCE OF CHAOS. YOU CAN WIN."

Owen tries to hide inside of Chase's shadow. He channels the adrenalin rush caused by this battle, but it's not that easy to concentrate with all that noise. He changes his strategy and takes daggers from Mark, which he professionally coats with poison, yet a bit nervous because it could be deadly for him, too. His moves are accurate; this represents years of experience as an assassin.

Q: Do materials and enchantments have a relationship?
Odds: ?
Roll: 100
A: Critical No
Anything can receive an enchantment
Q: Is it expensive to coat a weapon in any specific material?
Odds: ?
Roll: 17
A: Yes

The blacksmith shop is large and well-constructed. Every square inch of its walls is lined with ironwork, and a double decked fireplace supplies a single large space. One of the tallest timber slats supports a chimney used for holding hot pots. The blacksmith is a formal and dignified man, well known in the community for his iron work. He answers your question the best he can.

"Materials and enchantments usually do not have any relationship. The power of an enchantment comes from the spellcaster, not the object. Of course, there are a few exceptions. Magisteel ore is such exception and is prized by blacksmiths, because the strength of the enchantment depends not on sorcery, but on the skills of the blacksmith. Mixing magisteel with mundane metal would ruin it. Mithril is another type of ore that is prized. If you want me to coat a weapon, it would be a lot of work to make it durable. The coating needs to blend perfectly with the weapon. So it would be expensive and you need to bring me the materials."

I gotta go to work so I can't write all the prose I'd like, but as far as strategy goes:

>Use a brief speech combined with an attempt at purity magic to banish the fear overcoming my allies

>contemplate Kek's advice and wonder if, since nothing has said I lost my demonologist powers, I still have my corruption magic, and try to launch an offensive corruption spell at Chase, since my class change means I can no longer hope to survive in a straight up fight.

>that said, if the chaos magic doesn't work, then I still engage with him directly as I gotta do something to not die, and I can't back away if I want my allies to break out of their fear.

Really sorry this is all I can do for now.

Chase is charging at William.

William makes a brief speech. "Friends, listen to me. We can do this. We are the good guys and the crowd is cheering for us. Do not cry for me. I have done a lot of things and I have a lot to go back to. It's the same for us. We have as intimate friends ancient gods, demons and angels. We can do anything together, as long as we have trust in each other and strive to become the best person we can be."

"I…I do trust you." Aimee answers coyly.

Chase is running at full speed, getting closer and closer.

"Let me tell you about my father. He's a man that I admire, a strong man, who has taught me everything. I've lived my whole life looking up to him. Let me tell you this. I've lived my whole life looking up to him. It was one of the first things he taught me to do, when I first got here. 'For every thought you have to examine, you should have a hundred and one before you begin to think about anything else'. That means, you fear is the result of the countless thoughts in your head. But they mean nothing. The reality is that we are all here together."

Chase is even closer: there's a direct line of sight between him and William. (Chase's strength, "Born to Run", activates.). The angel Kustel is not saying anything, but everyone can feel his gentle approval.

"Now, let me show you what it means to be in a party with an angelologist. By this speech, by this thought, you will be purified of all evil fears. Transcend the illusion of the flesh, the origination of fear and evil, the evil cravings of your heart. Leave the darkness of self-indulgence behind. Let your soul shine with radiant gratitude for what is good, let it radiate the desire for living for what is good. I shall show you the way."

Everyone who was previously scared regains their confidence, except Aimee and Larry who are still shaken.
>>
Reaper Aspirant (strength): As he's running closer to him, Chase detects William's weaknesses. Even though William is very strong, he is not trained with weapons. That means: keep your safe distance, do not let him grab you, and circle him if possible. Chase also faintly perceives that William is short-sighted and that it could be a good idea to break his glasses. Of his psychological weaknesses, Chase can detect that William is someone who is Nonconfrontational. He could combine his own Intense Presence weakness to make William feel anxious or confused. William will tolerate any form of abuse including slavery, but he will not tolerate castration.

William spends some time pondering about his class. Is he still a demonologist? After giving it some thought, he notices that Chase is charging at him, and he quickly casts corruption magic on him. The weakness Nonconfrontational is transfered to Chase (refer to his character sheet to know what it entails).

When Chase reaches him, William catches him and chokes him under his armpit. With only one arm, Chase slashes at William's armpit until his hand is sore and he breaks from William's grip. William runs toward Chase and tackles him, using both hands to stop him. The Throat Cutter grabs Chase and begins choking him. In the melee, Chase manages to cut William in the stomach and hurt him.

One asspull speech later, and I'm relieved that Catia and Ari have regained their confidence, among others. As I begin grappling with Chase, I call out to the others. "We outnumber them, and they can't all be soldiers, charge and take them down quickly, before any monsters are added to the field."

I never thought I'd find myself trying to strangle the life out of someone. When I managed to use corruption magic, I didn't expect it to remove my hesitancy towards such aggression. These people did nothing wrong, yet nothing was holding me back from trying to end the life of the man in front of me. Getting slashed in the stomach, I remembered I had a blade of my own, and quickly tried to cut my opponent's throat while I shouted for Kustel to heal me. Yeah, I was also surprised the author had me attack you by trying to strangle you as opposed to using the sword in my hand. I’ll never get over the fact that he weaseled his way into keeping his cheat (in a rather flimsy manner I might add) In fact it might as well have been a one to one transfer. It hasn’t been needed in the slightest. Somehow in a setting that’s more scaled back in terms of power, this Chase is much stronger than the Chase of the other thread.
>>
>>3954322
I agree with you on Reaper for sure, it definitely shouldn't be telling me mental stuff, especially since Death Count doesn't let me read mental weaknesses of players in the first place.

It was never meant to replace the cheat itself, but I felt there should be a consequence to living for weeks with an entire new sense. It's like if you could see, and you have seen apples before, you still know what an apple looks like even if you go blind. Now replace the apple with the proper way to gut a man and there you go.

I've thought about this too and it seems like everything about the other quest is a lot higher in terms of powerscale, especially where classes are concerned. Compare the Thief you had there to the Their you have here for instance. Warrior is just plain better than most things I've seen here.
>>
>>3954360
I wouldn’t say that it’s like visualizing an something you’ve already seen. Each individual has a set of weaknesses that can be exploited, some more numerous than others. You put three people in a room and they’ll all have a wide variety of weak points aside from “hit them in the vitals”. If a blind man saw an apple and then had his sight taken away again, he couldn’t identify a pear or a grape by sight. Still at this point your reaper stuff is just icing on the cake. William can’t take you in a straight up fight and for some reason he refuses to sic the angel on you. The fact that the NPCs are seemingly useless half of the time doesn’t help matters.
>>
>>3954476
The only thing I know about the angel is he can heal any wounds upon physical contact with his target. As far as I know he's as bad in a fight as I am, so I'm leaving him as a guy who can swoop in and save my teammates from death if need be.

The fact that none of the NPCs have done anything also annoys me, but that's the power of the one guys sword I guess?
>>
>>3954491
At the very least the angel would have much better physical stats than you, angels are usually depicted as superhuman. While your holding Chase down you could just use the angel to take one of the dropped scimitars and hack off the top of his head.

He tells you to go to the electricity shop that Shi and Emiya went to, in the indoor market.

The outskirts of the city are poverty-stricken and without running water. (The rest of the city has running water and proper toilets.) There are few narrow streets and many strange alleyways to explore, including the gateway to a long abandoned mansion. All of the people who have no Familia live here; they are called "orphans". Ghostly and ordinary, orphaned citizens rarely interact with the residents of the city. A small park is nearby, called Ghost Park, and a small area with taverns and low quality shops.

Ari said there was no crime here but I’m sure that was only the official report. As long as there is a society there’s always going to be people who simply take what they want. Given what I’ve seen most of the people here were attracted to the rumors of the tower yet failed to accomplish their goals. I attempt to seek out people such as this, it’s already been shown that not all guild members are lawful good or even chaotic good. Finding some would-be bandits and drifters shouldn’t be a difficult task.

You have to kill the NPCs, they count as full members of Kek's Team.

Also, all members of the winning team will resurrect.

You don't get a bonus, but a penalty. Trips are sacred to Kek, with 777 being the most sacred. Since you are the enemy of Kek, the appearance of the sacred 999 is beneficial to Kek's team. (I've rolled below to ask for Kek's opinion on this matter. For those who don't know, Kek is the dice and the GM, and my role is that of a mere oracle.)

Despite his new work in the streets, Owen's creepy face still looks as intimidating as ever. Even though he's walking around the edge of arena and trying to sneak behind Kek's Team, everyone is paying attention to his menacing aura. However, he still can't merge with the shadows. Perhaps the stress of this battle and his lack of prior practice makes the task too much for him.

Shi casts a frigid beam of blue-white light streaks toward the sublime creature known as William. William ate a full meal in Kek's pyramid, thus he's at full energy and barely feels the cold energy. However, this display of power catches Jackson's attention. Leaving the frightened panther cat behind, he walks toward the mage.

"We outnumber them, and they can't all be soldiers, charge and take them down quickly, before any monsters are added to the field." William orders, while grappling Chase. It is important to note that William never had any intention of aggressing Chase. So theorically, this could be seen as a form of particularly playful hug.

"Heal me, Kustel!" he shouts. Kustel still does not flinch; William can feel that the angel strongly disapproves of his use of demonic magic. The angel then disappears.

Abigail, Catia and Ari all gang up on Chase while he can't dodge or parry. Chase's strong body cannot resist the flurry of blows. As he's dying, his sword goes through the creature's lungs. Abigail squeaks. She tries casting a healing spell on William, but, in a panic, she instead casts a charm spell, leaving him to die from his injuries. The priest AnonKnight, who was still trying to figure out which deity to worship, copies Abigail's spell, but it does not work on the dead body. The crowd mourns the death of their hero. Ari screams. "Our champion is dead! Where's Terry? Quick, summon him to us! He always has a plan for everything!" Abigail panics more. "Is he hidden in the shadows or outside of the arena? What should I do?! Fuck, I'm clueless."

On the other side of the arena, Emiya chants. "Y on'na no aibiron, watashi wa anata no iyashino-ryoku o kenkyo ni youkyuu shimasu." Delicate rays of magic reach Chase, whose wounds are partly healed. Healing such vile creature is repugnant to Emiya, but she has no choice. A thought comes to her mind. "I'm ready to sacrifice myself in this battle to save Shi."

Jackson approaches Shi, his glorious hair flowing in the wind, his lumber axe held with both hands, attempting to put it through the mage's head. But Shi's reflexes are too keen: he makes one step on the side and elegantly pushes Jackson's weapon away.

A pitbull trainer

There are indeed countless would-be bandits in this area. The following seem to be the roughest that you can find:

1) A group of four masked thugs equipped with club weapons and knives; they are sitting at the corner of a street
2) An animal trainer, who trains pit bulls for illegal fights; he lives in a fenced trailer
>>

It doesn’t seem to have affected anything but I’d like to know how the weakness played a role in this. I was simply looking around and never interacted with anyone. The weakness would only activate if I’m outright asking aid and in this case it wouldn’t hinder me since the bandits would benefit from working with me.

The battlefield looks utterly chaotic. The chaos is relentless. The only reality of this world is madness and bloodlust. Everyone is fighting and running around; the air is thick with magic, and explosions resonate throughout the sky. The battle seems endless, and no one can see where it's going. Kek and Loki are sitting next to each other in the stands, syruping on their soma and exchanging gossips and jokes.

"Whose Familia do you think is going to win, Loki?" Kek asks.

"Well, mine, of course. Look at my champion Chase. He counts for at least 3 regular fighters and he's nearly impossible to kill."

"Hm."

***

“Your champion is dead stand down so we can do this quick and easy” Mark shouts.

And it is true. Only the champion's brief speech had removed the fear from the heart of his companions. With his death, the situations looks completely desperate. William had been their pillar and champion for so long that the girls cannot function without him. Abigail is so scared that her knees tremble and she's too powerless to do anything. "We're all going to die, aren't we?" she says, tearing up as she mourns her friend's untimely death. Her anguished cry echoes through the arena.

Enough intimidation. Mark uses his bow and arrow and hits Catia through the shoulder. The floor is splattered with her blood and William's entrails. Catia is shocked, feeling depersonalized. She fights mechanically, oblivious to the pain and her surroundings. Even in his death, William looks handsome, in a somewhat morbid way.
>>
Shi casts Mage Armor on himself. As Jackson keeps hitting him, it provides a welcome protection. Jackson is hitting hard as he can, aiming for the torso. His lumber axe flies to slash Shi's sides but Mage Armor deflects everything. He also attempts to bolster his allies. "The only competent one is all but dead, Mark has naught but angry words to harm us with! Finish Chase and go after Owen!"

Chase tries to extricate himself from William's disemboweled corpse, but fails. The corpse is heavy, too heavy for him to push away. He's getting attacked by the remnants of WIlliam's harem, and he suffers even more damage. His experience as a warrior tells him that situation is desperate. Unlike a regular human, despair makes him feel at his best (Crunch Time). Noteworthy is that even when dead, William is a more efficient fighter than everyone combined in the arena.

Meanwhile, Owen stabs AnonKnight repeatedly. Anon doesn't let this distract him, and his faith neutralizes the weak poison. He shuts his eyes and focuses on the spell that he has prepared. "I call Aphrodite, goddess of love. May this woman be charmed by the power of my faith." Aphrodite's power flows through him like a wave. Pink threads of energy dance around his fingers, stretch toward Emiya, and charm her. The pink energy reflects in her eyes, filling her with empyrean passion for Anon. Shi, who was her everything, her only real connection to the world, ceases to exist for her. The crowd boos her, some people even throw rotten tomatoes at her.

I cast Aggressive Thundercloud on Jackson. I try to convince Emiya to come to her senses by saying "Dearest Emiya doth not alloweth yond fiend anon dissemble thee with his twist'd charm, the loveth in mine own heart burns as hot as the travelling lamp f'r thee, returneth to thy senses so we shall once again beest togath'r. "

Spell description

"A crackling, spherical storm cloud flies in whichever direction you point and deals electricity damage to those it strikes. It has a fly speed of 20 feet with perfect maneuverability. If it enters a space that contains a creature, the storm stops moving for the round and deals 3d6 points of electricity damage to that creature, though a successful Reflex save negates that damage. It provides concealment (20% miss chance) to anything within it, and its flickering light illuminates the same area a candle would.

The sphere moves as long as you actively direct it (as a move action for you); otherwise, it stays at rest and crackles with lightning. It can be moved by wind effects and counts as a Small creature for the purpose of determining how winds affect it. The sphere has no physical substance and cannot exert any force on corporeal creatures or objects. It disperses if it exceeds the spell’s range."

It depends on the action that's repeated. When the dice rule that you can't do X action in Y environment. But you try to do that action again anyway. The first time, I will readjust the odds as more difficult than I initially thought (repeated penalty). The second time, I'll rule that it's impossible.

If I didn't do that, you'd be able to do any action successfully in just a few rounds. For example. You could seduce Emiya just by saying that you try to seduce her over and over.

A dark storm cloud forms above Shi's head, an ominous wind flowing from the top of his head. At least half of his face is covered by it, as it stretches upwards. The black fog takes a rough, spherical shape around him, stopping at a height of three meters. A ball of lightning forms above Jackson. A loud thud is heard, and Jackson leaps out of the way of the lightning. He strikes the best he can at the mage, but the weather has reduced the visibility, and he is barely able to see anything as he leaves his position. A second gust of wind pushes him back some more, and a third shakes him, as he exchanges insults with Mark. "Mark! If you can talk so big than maybe you can fight well you cowardly crowing cockerel!"

Greater Aggressive Thundercloud: A dark cloud of evil that deals instant death to its targets. The only way to avoid it is to simply walk out of its way.

The cat known as Larry, who everyone had forgotten, jumps to Shi's throat from the side. Shi grabs him from the neck and throws him away. The poor feline gets back up to its feet and hisses. "Jackson! It's me, I'm back! Are you okay? We should get away from this storm."

The combat pauses for a second as Shi speaks to his waifu. "Dearest Emiya doth not alloweth yond fiend Anon dissemble thee with his twist'd charm, the loveth in mine own heart burns as hot as the travelling lamp f'r thee, returneth to thy senses so we shall once again beest togath'r."

She answers, "Speak not, vile wight. Thou callest him a fiend, but it is no doubt that thou art twist'd by a foul, jealous disposition. Mine love is only for Anon, and thou art but a beta orbit'r, and thou shalt see very soon the might of his ichor for thou canst not hold it. Beware how thou cryest, and make not a whisper; then he might forgive thee, for my loving words would heal his wrath."

Combat resumes. On the other side of the arena, Anon is standing there, preparing his second spell. Owen, the scarred assassin, almost invisible, slices his throat. Anon's corpse falls, with a bewildered look in his eyes. For half a second, Anon cucked Shi, a most amazing feat as Shi is the former supreme lord of seduction. Unfortunately, Anon's seduction ended with no infatuation.

William and his harem beat Chase to death. It's not a glorious death, but a relatively common one. He loses consciousness, retaining his composure, with trickling blood to his lips. The true hero is and always has been William, who represents the ideal man of honor, courage, and resolute principle in a place where honor is always squandered on undeserved glory and virtue is never worth anything. He opens his eyes and says his last words.

"Girls... I'm dying but it's OK... Just do your best in this fight... And live a good, happy life... I..." William gives his final breath before he collapses. Catia kneels and grabs his hand. "William.. Thank you so much for everything you've done for us." She stands up and looks at Shi and Mark with hatred. "It's time to kick some ass!"

I say say Emiya "Now that fiend Anon is dead I need you to cast Hold Person on Jackson." I cast Flaming Sphere. I move 10 steps to the side. I then direct the Greater Agressive Storm cloud and Flaming Sphere to go to Jackson.

Flaming Sphere: Spell Description
"A burning globe of fire rolls in whichever direction you point and burns those it strikes. It moves 30 feet per round. As part of this movement, it can ascend or jump up to 30 feet to strike a target. If it enters a space with a creature, it stops moving for the round and deals 3d6 points of fire damage to that creature, though a successful Reflex save negates that damage. A flaming sphere rolls over barriers less than 4 feet tall. It ignites flammable substances it touches and illuminates the same area as a torch would.

The sphere moves as long as you actively direct it (a move action for you); otherwise, it merely stays at rest and burns. It can be extinguished by any means that would put out a normal fire of its size. The surface of the sphere has a spongy, yielding consistency and so does not cause damage except by its flame. It cannot push aside unwilling creatures or batter down large obstacles. A flaming sphere winks out if it exceeds the spell’s range."

Hold Person Spell Description:
The subject becomes paralyzed and freezes in place. It is aware and breathes normally but cannot take any actions, even speech. Each round on its turn, the subject may attempt a new saving throw to end the effect. This is a full-round action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity. A winged creature who is paralyzed cannot flap its wings and falls. A swimmer can’t swim and may drown.

Owen appears behind the Ari. Her ears perk up slightly and she swiftly turns around.

"I'm an girl." she says with a sweet, well-aimed wag of her tail. "You can't hit me." She smiles and waves a paw in front of her face. Ari is a wolf-girl: it's a racial trait to look adorable at any moment. Owen lifts his hands and stabs her in both her ears at the same time. Blood sprays from both of her ears, like a pretty red fountain.

"Uhm...huh?" Ari asks, stunned. She falls on the floor. She briefly wonders where's Terry, before passing away.

>>3956291
Terry is in the outskirts of the city. The leader of the thugs is a hideous man holding a club, with his face covered with scars and a brown mohawk. Usually, a cruel laugh echoes from his mouth.

Some general information about thugs and the three categories of humans.

In Greek philosophy, mankind was divided into two categories: those who have souls (pneumatics and psychics) and those who don't (hylics). The hylics have a brain: they are capable of speech and intelligence, however, they have no consciousness. The higher grade hylics are slaves and enjoy working. The lower grade hylics, who are the result of population dysgenics, are not capable of doing the work they programmed for. Those are known as "thugs"; dysfunctional hylics.

Out of boredom and to make up for their personal failure, they congregate in the streets with other thugs, and annoy and hurt other people as the only form of entertainment possible to them. Thugs are distinguished from other hylics as having extremely low IQ and a high level of hostily and cowardice. In Ancient Greece, when a thug was born, they were thrown off the cliffs to die. It is also to be noted that Asian societies have little to no thugs, as a side effect of having a higher average IQ.

4chan has a population mostly made of psychics, but hylics represent shitposters, spammers and shills. Pneumatics and psychics have always been a minority. In Ancient Indo-European society, they were the nobility, but with the rise of the merchant and banking caste, born from the cursed lands of Mesopotamia, they now remain as NEETs or semi-NEETs. This is why our planet is called Hell, whereas Devapura's world is properly refered to as Earth.

Luqman (from thread #3) referred to humans as being divided into two categories, bandits and slaves, as he only knew about the two types of hylics.

Seeing Terry, with his armor and magical artifacts, the thugs get nervous. "B... Business is not too good, sir. Yes, we would love to earn some money. What do you have in mind?"

A thought crosses Abigail's mind. "If I use my priestly magic to revive William... We would have a chance to win. Aphrodite, help me..." She walks through the battlefield, shaken, explosions and magic surrounding her, arrows flying from every direction. She kneels in front of the disemboweled champion, and gently touches his forehead. "Aphrodite Ourania, I humbly call your powers, to raise this man from the dead, out of my feelings of passion for him when he was alive." But the goddess does not answer the call. The true reason that William died is that Abigail was useless, and the goddess will not forgive this betrayal.

The Marksman aims and shoots and the remaining opponents. It is like shooting at sitting ducks. One of his arrows catches Aimee, the Californian babe, in the leg. She screams, "Help!" before whirling, evading the other arrows. One of arrows almost kills Owen, but the assassin swiftly deflects it with one of his daggers. Owen then repeats his previous move on Catia, stabbing both of her ears and killing her. Two beautiful fountains of blood gush from her head, forming little puddles on the floor. The crowd applauds, as surely, it is rare to see people die in such poetic manner.

A burning globe of fire rolls in Jackson's direction. Shi calculates his steps just to be outside of the area of damage. Jackson's clothes seem to catch fire, and the handle of his axe breaks. The smoke fills his lungs and he coughs up blood. "JACKSOOON!!! NYAH!!!!!" Larry jumps at Shi's throat again, he's such a ball of fluffy cuteness, and his loyalty to Jackson is commentable. However, Shi catches him and dumps him in the fire.

Miyashita Emiya is in awe from seeing her husband's powerful magic. "Shi, I hope you forgive those horrible things that I said... I didn't mean any of them... The demonic magic of Kek's Team had taken control of me... I'm so ashamed... Of my weakness... This taint... I'm no longer worthy..." Because of this shame, she's unable to cast Hold Person, even though it's a spell she has practiced a lot.

I cast Aggressive Thundercloud on Jackson. "I say to Emiya that's in the past, what matters right now is surviving this blood bath cast Summon Monster ll and Summon a small Earth Elemental to deal with that leopard"

Spell description: Aggressive Thundercloud

Spell Description:

This spell summons an extraplanar creature (typically an outsider, elemental, or magical beast native to another plane). It appears where you designate and acts immediately, on your turn. It attacks your opponents to the best of its ability. If you can communicate with the creature, you can direct it not to attack, to attack particular enemies, or to perform other actions. The spell conjures one of the creatures from the 2nd Level list on Table: Summon Monster. You choose which kind of creature to summon, and you can choose a different one each time you cast the spell.

Owen repeats his previous moves and turns Aimee into a living fountain of blood. The crowd scands his name, "Ear-Piercer! Ear-Piercer! Ear-Piercer!" during the massacre. As she falls, her long, golden hair flows through the air, tainted with sparkles of her own blood. She was dressed in a black dress and sparkly pumps that she had bought in the indoor market with William's money. She was probably the sexiest lady in the entire city, but now she's only a corpse. Maybe, she imagines, she can meet William in the afterlife. Wait, what's the afterlife when you're an Isekai victim, anyway?

Shi fails his second Thundercloud spell. As for Emiya, everyone wants to lynch her, and she keeps receiving rotten fruits in her face. She summons a medium earth elemental, a pretty good feat of magic, but as it can't even kill a mere leopard cat, everyone is laughing. Larry is dodging each of the hits from the hulking elemental, which makes him almost as popular as Owen. As an act of jest, Larry grabs a rotten apple from the floor and throws it at the elemental's face. The elemental doesn't care, and eats the fruit. Soon Larry is overcome with terror, as he realizes that the monster is crushing the ground around him. He flees and hides behind Jackson.

The Marksman shoots several arrows at Jackson. Death by fire and arrows. (A few coins are thrown at Mark for his performance.) That's not a pretty sight. Larry holds his master's hand and says comforting words while he's slowly dying. That was a valiant effort on Jackson's part, but let's be honest, half of his team really sucked and abandoned him. Let's applaud him for being the last man standing.

The god Kek raises his white flag. Trumpets and horns resonate in the arena to herald the end of the Familia War. The crowd is cheering, whistling at the winners of the war. Lord Ganesha resurrects Chase, and invites the five heroes to a podium to receive their gold medal. He then speaks to the crowd.

"That was a great war, with a lot of intense moments. A well-deserved victory, also. Let's have a round of applauds for Loki and his Familia." Everyone enthusiastically applauds.

"My personal favorite moment was seeing the Ear-Stabber slaughter all of Champion William's harem. Wasn't it so funny to see that cat-girl die?" The crowd is delirious. "He went from street prostitute to the most famous gladiator of Devapura in one day. His formal name is Owen. Please, another round of applauds for Champion Owen."

@Loki's Familia. Please vote for what you do with Abigail (priestess of Aphrodite) and Larry (leopard cat).

>>3947920
@The defeated team. If someone wants to co-QM (>>3953645), you will be resurrected too. If not, you're welcome to hang out in the thread anyway. The next thread will be in about 18-19 days.

>>3956616
@Terry. I'm sorry but your team lost (>>3951486) so this means the interruption of your business. There were only 4 player slots open for this thread.

>Thread title changed to "Loki's Familia".
>Chase is resurrected (>>3954592).
>Jackson gains the title "Last Man Standing".
>Only Abigail and Larry survived. The winning team decides if they live or die.

>>3956699
In the simplest of terms it wasn’t my team, I only had a friend who was on said team. As far as slots go, if up to eight people can be in one familia then there’s certainly room for five PCs. Had every more people from the other thread showed up, team Loki would’ve had at least seven PCs in it.
>>
>>3956696
Do i get a reward for winning. If so I want to be a wizard.
>>
>>3956740
Scratch that I have a better idea. Have Abigail and Larry fight to the death. If Larry wins he gets to go free and if Abigail wins she gets to be my sex slave.

The winners of the gladiator match will receive the Blessing of Chaos from their god. After Shi pleads with him, Lord Ganesha rules that Shi can instead receive the wizard class if he prefers.

>Blessing of Chaos: You receive a + 1 RS bonus when you attempt a chaotic action
>Wizard (prestige class): You can use your IQ score when casting known spells. New spells can be learnt from scrolls, books or trainers. Sorcerer spells can still be casted using vizualization. You receive a spellbook that contains 1 random spell.

A reskilling is also to be granted (>>3953540).

As prize for winning the war, Loki chooses to trade Familia homes with Kek. Thus, Loki will get the pyramid, and Kek, the trailer. Loki says to Owen, "I told you I had a plan to get a new Familia house. This will definitely raise our prestige, although, my long-term goal is to one day build a circus."

>>3956796
Owen collects 3 silver coins and 24 copper coins from the arena's floor. Also available on the floor are 42 rotten fruits, William's bowels and lungs, as well as the gear from the slain members of Kek's Familia.

It would be understandable if he were open about this from the beginning. There was never any indication that what happened in the main plot would affect me unless one of you guys directly interfered with my palms. The way this situation is being handled comes off as disingenuous.

Obviously he didn’t like the fact that I was role playing instead of adhering to the flow chart but no warnings were given either through himself or through the narrative.

Thank you my Canadian brother. Given what I’ve said above, having everything unceremoniously scrapped out of nowhere is annoyig to say the least. That was never my intention. In had I had no idea that we were going to be railroaded into an unescapable conflict. Also it wasn’t exactly like I hid away in some fortress, I actively took and was in the process of taking risks.

I would assume that a chaotic action means random and unpredictable. Since you have you have used that move a few times and it's your signature move I wouldn't consider it chaotic, but it's all up to OP.

I argue that if one person can choose an advanced class, the option should be available to the rest of us. I would pick Armsmaster.

Also come on, there needs to be at least one player who isn't a brainless shitter. Terry actively increases the quality by his mere presence. Not to mention that there is no in character justification for him to get nixed.

You should’ve explicitly stated this when I made my decision to operate on my own terms. Had you simply explained the way player slots were to be determined (in a similar manner to how you explained the out of bounds rule) instead of letting me make my own decisions up until this point there would be no issue.

I cannot correctly state wether your actions are the result of sheer negligence or delusory intentions. Regardless, your behavior as it relates to this matter has been obnoxious to say the least.

Ganesha rejects your argument. "You do not have the proper mindset for a New Beginning. Develop your buddhi, my son. Study the ancient texts, meditate, and maybe one day you will find the advanced class that suits you. Or, more properly, the universe will bring it to you."

>>3957019
>I cast instrument maker on William's Lungs.
At first, you fail to visualize the bagpipes properly, but the forces of chaos approve of the creation of a tribute to William, and a clear image appears in your mind. You create the relic "William's Bagpipes". The bagpipes still have a raw, organic look, with a hint of Cthulhu caused by the intervention of chaos magic. To say it more plainly, they look quite disgusting, but they are perfectly functional as a musical instrument. Emiya thinks that you should burn this abomination and bury the ashes in the sand.

You can't just let a player screw themselves out of playing without informing them. This isn't just railroading, it's obfuscated railroading to an unbearable degree. ASSASSIN SKILLS (Owen)
