I'll be back in a few hours anons, sorry.
9+2=11Minor Failure! You realize you've never been trained on how to fire an Russian howitzer, and... Well, you don't want to touch anything. It might explode on you, after all... But you have a few ideas.>Pull the strange lever...>What does that hatch do?>...Punch the howitzer, maybe the kinetic energy might cause a button to be pressed and fire? (Strength, HARD)>...Uh... Pull the lever?>Flip a switch?>No, you'd rather not explode.>Ask if the Russian knows how these things work.>What's that tape doing on a button anyways?>Write-inGonna to be delayed in posting again, just got a break and put this up.
>>392013>Ask if the Russian knows how these things work.
You ask the Russian if he knows how to fire."Just... Uh... Press the button with tape on it, I guess. It's probably the most used.">Pull the strange lever...>What does that hatch do?>...Punch the howitzer, maybe the kinetic energy might cause a button to be pressed and fire? (Strength, HARD)>...Uh... >>392194>Have the russian try to fire it so you wont explode.
"Hey, why don't you show your loyalty to the pack by pressing the button?""Uh... Alright, I guess."He goes up to press the button, he looks at you."I-I don't want to do it.""Be a man, press the button."He presses the button, which breaks off and a howitizer shell falls out of the hatch. He cowardly moves to protect his face and groin in one go.Well, you know what button causes the hatch to open, at the least.Actions.>Pull the strange lever...>Close the hatch.>Put a howitzer shell in, of the gas variety.>...Punch the howitzer, maybe the kinetic energy might cause a button to be pressed and fire? >>392236>Put a howitzer shell in, of the gas variety.>...Uh... Pull the lever?Still have the russian do it.
You order the russian to put a howitzer shell in, of the gas variety and to pull the normal-looking lever. You see the howitzer fire a massive amount of smoke. You realize you forgot to close the hatch, and the conscript is coughing, and has narrowly fled from the poison gas. It takes a few minutes, but eventually he gets back up, tears formed in his eyes from the gas he narrowly avoided his death from.It seems the shell didn't get too far, because you did not close the hatch.Actions.>Pull the strange lever...>Close the hatch.>...You need to figure out how far away the encampment is... Try to find some binoculars.>Put a howitzer shell in, of the gas variety.>Pull the lever which causes it to fire.>Flip a switch?>No, you'd rather not explode.>Write-in
>>392267>Close the hatch.>...You need to figure out how far away the encampment is... Try to find some binoculars.
You make sure to close the hatch once the gas cloud dissapates, and you try to find binoculars to... Well, see how far you have to aim this thing.Roll me a 1d20+2 for finding binoculars!

14+2=16Good Success! You find a locked wooden box, and smash it with your foot. You find a pair binoculars... Which fit a little weirdly, but you use them to judge the distance... You think you have enough knowledge on how to fire the howitizer, and begin to shatter their skies!Roll me a 1d20+4 for how much damage you deal to the encampment.

16+4=20Great Success! The camp is plunged into chaos as gas rounds strike them in their sleep, and kill quite a few of them... Of course, the alarm is raised, and you realize that it may be a little hard to get back. Why?First off, you can't really get across the river unless you want to swim, number two the camp is looking for you, and number three... Well, it's going to be somewhat hard to get back without getting shot. And that's where I'm going to end it for tonight. Tomorrow I'll be doing EDQ.
