You ended up on Tarble’s planet and helped him and Kuriza deal with a group of PTO soldiers gone space pirate funded by a nefarious cult, with links to the mechanical monsters you’ve faced before! But then, the mysterious Mugen contacts you all, hoping to find the location of Ledgic alongside giving vague hints and vaguer threats. A lead brings you to the remnants of the Fake planet Brench, mechanized and shattered, with Basilea’s involvement in this all too clear now. However, Giru begins to understand more about his origins, and, after you show trust in him, helps pinpoint leads on Basilea’s eventual goal, the potential location of the cult, and... his place of origin. What awaits you in the depths of space? Good luck, Peppa!
>>3590951Maple finally makes her return, looking a bit more upbeat than before. All of you catch her up on the situation, from the discoveries on Fake Brench to Giru’s approximated locations for the three places of interest. She looks over them for a moment. “...Okay, so if Basilea is going to be waiting for us here:” Maple points to the location of the destroyed planet Eros. “It means she’s tracking how many Dragon Balls we have, somehow.”Raditz narrows his eyes at her. “Somehow?”Mom rubs the back of her neck. “L-look, could be a number of reasons. Baby was tracking them in the future, right?”“Mmmmh.” Raditz grumbles.“Point is, we may be able to set a trap for her, but only once we have enough of the Dragon Balls.” mom finishes. “And speaking of Baby...” She points to Giru’s guess on where his homeworld would be. “This may be where he’s been hiding all this time. Which means Basilea could be in contact with him. BUT we don’t exactly know what all could be hiding on this world. We may need some extra precautions, at the very least a lead on what to expect.”“And where would we get that?” Videl asks.Mom finally points to Giru’s approximated location of the cult. “Here. We find out what the deal is here, we find out what to expect from Baby.” She places her hands behind her back and looks over all of you. “So, everyone clear with this plan?”>A. Absolutely!>B. Wait, but, what happened to Ledgic?>C. Can’t say I agree with it, actually...>D. Would it be better to keep her from getting the Dragon Balls entirely?>E. Actually, would it be okay for me to take a break back on Earth for a bit?>F. Something else?

>>3590998>>3591026Thanks, guys.>>3590956https://youtu.be/sybN4C5shiQ“Wait wait wait, but, what happened to Ledgic?” you ask. “Did you hand him over to that Mugen guy?”Maple smiles. “We reached an agreement.”Videl and Pantea give her uncomfortable looks, and even 19 seems unnerved by that response. “You handed him over?” the robot girl asks.“No. Ledgic reached an agreement with us.” Maple smiles wider....Wha? “...Okay I’m going to need more to go on than THAT. What happened, exactly?”“Trip and I discussed what would be the best way to go about this. In the end, we decided that it would be best to let Ledgic make the decision himself. But... well, that would mean freeing him to explain the situation to him.” Mom tilts her head. “So, Goku and I had a bit of a... discussion with Ledgic.”“You both fought him, huh?” Raditz questions.“Well, he did kinda need to calm down first.” Mom glances at you. “Goku managed to show Ledgic that there’s a gap in both power and skill between them. A little something he wanted to thank you for, Peppa.”“Ah! Dad beat Ledgic with Super Saiyan 3?” you ask.“That, and a few things he’s been practicing since the Tournament. Ledgic was... not AS happy with me, but he did manage to have a better reaction to Goku facing him and winning. From there, I gave him a choice: continue on his own, or try to improve with Mugen helping him.”“So, he left with Mugen willingly?” Raditz asks. “Did you manage to see who our mysterious mechanical friend actually is?”Mom rubs the back of her head. “Sorta. He was still waiting near Tech Tech for our answer, and sent down some kind of hologram and a servant of his to reach the agreement. Ledgic did go with him, but he made a few threats towards Mugen that... well, I can’t say I was happy to see. Worse, Mugen seemed to welcome the challenge. The hologram did display his cloaked figure, at least, and he had a silver, skull-like face.”“So not quite anyone we know.” Raditz guesses. “Maybe we’ll get more answers from that Luud whatever it is.”(cont.)
>>3591331“Oh! Right! Mom, you heard about that cult before, didn’t you?” you ask. “Why didn’t you say anything?”She laughs apologetically. “It only sounded vaguely familiar at the time. To be honest it’s been like, a decade since I really put much thought into it. And, well, looks like you guys followed up on that lead pretty well.”“Well, then I guess that’s all settled. I’m ready to take them on!” You thrust your fist up into the air.“Yeah, let’s see what these guys are really up to!” Videl cheers with you.Mom nods. “Okay. Pantea, got a course set?”She heads to the ship’s controls and gets things started. “Course is set. Let’s go!”And so the ship heads off, towards the location Giru estimates as the planet the cult is operating out of. You still have a bit of time before you reach it, though. Could spend it talking with someone.>A. Ask mom for more about how the stuff with Ledgic went down>B. See what Videl’s thinking about all this>C. Should probably thank Giru for all his help>D. >>3591332You head over to Videl first. “So. We know some bits on what Basilea’s doing, but missing the whole picture.” you comment, sitting down with her. “Is it just to get stronger? Become immortal? Summon a bunch of angry wasps at will?”“I really hope it’s not the last one. That’s just... terrible.” Videl responds, leaning back and shuddering. “Could be that she’s trying to wish for something personal against you, though.”Ugh. Hoping against hope that isn’t true. “I still just... I don’t get her. And I kinda don’t want to get her, you know? Why go through all this trouble, just to get back at me for some dumb couple slights, some that weren’t even ‘me’? She’s nuts. She’s dumb.”“Could be she’s jealous.” Videl guesses. “You’ve got a good life, Peppa. And she’s jealous of that.”“She’s still dumb.” you grumble, crossing your arms.“Okay, her aside, what else do we know?” Videl asks. “These Black Star Dragon Balls, they’re related to this destroyed planet, right? What HAPPENED to the planet?”“Giru, Giru! Substantial outpouring of negative energy from the planet’s location! Spread throughout the entire galaxy the planet was located in!” the little robot explains, floating up to the two of you.“Wait, galaxy?” you and Videl repeat together.“Affirmative! Original dwarf galaxy Philos hosted planet Eros, but said galaxy went dark a few centuries prior. High concentrations of negative energy spread throughout the galaxy, which has dissipated over time. Giru, Giru.”“What would cause such a thing?” Videl asks.He beeps lowly for a moment, before answering, “Scattered reports from PTO archives of a dragon-like being traveling from planet to planet, spreading madness and destruction. Last report was late in King Cold’s reign.”Oh. Oh you don’t like the sound of that. “A... dragon. You don’t mean...?”“Speculation that such a figure related to Dragon Balls is probable.” Giru affirms.“Well. That’s not at all good news.” Videl sighs. “So Basilea, Towa, whoever, would be interested in something with galaxy-destroying potential.”You pat Giru gently. “Well, thanks for that. And for all your help before. And sorry I wasn’t exactly as trusting towards you before... and sorry that I kinda called you annoying a few times.”“Giru, Giru! Happy to help! Happy to help, Peppa!”“Juuust remember what Izzy and I have told you before. Don’t go blabbering about more private matters, and we’re good.”(cont.)
>>3591910https://youtu.be/XcIkYVo9y0sHe heads off happily, going to 16, to your surprise, and attempting to converse with him. You and Videl talk a little bit more as the ship travels, with Videl commenting to you that she’s decided to put off dating for a while... though also giving you a slightly teasing look as she asks, “So... did you two ever decide on a follow-up?”Blushing a little, you mumble, “N-not yet, but Cocoa has found a couple places and things that’d be nice. Hey, uh, Videl? Thanks for being so supportive.”She nudges you with her elbow. “It’s what friends do. I’m sure you’d do the same.”“Yeah, but, even during our... first one, you held off all those reporters trying to hound me for an interview and just... let us enjoy our time together. I really do owe you.”“Oooon a similar note...” Videl starts, asking hesitantly, “That Monty guy taking the rejection well?”“I haven’t really heard a lot from him, but I think so. Apparently it was a little rough for the time after we all left, but last I heard from uncle Acer, his training was going well.” Your tail rests on your lap as you place your hands behind your neck. “Really do hope he’s serious about trying to improve himself.”“Some boys have a harder time accepting that than others.” Pantea butts in, walking over. “Just be glad he hasn’t started leaving you overly dramatic messages trying to still win you over.” she adds, looking to Videl.“Just had to bring that up...” your friend grumbles. “Look, I’m not gonna bring up anything about you and a certain little redheaded boy, so how about we not keep trying to delve into relationship talk, okay?”The purple-haired girl giggles. “Aww, and here I was ready to try and help play matchmaker~”“Like I told Peppa, I’m holding off on that. Besides, you’ve got competition, don’t you? A curvy miss ninja lady?” Videl asks with a smirk. You hear your mom grumble. “Okay, okay, enough.” you spread your arms out to get them to stop. “Pantea, what do you think about all this robot stuff? You have to have some insight into it, right?”(cont.)
>>3591916https://youtu.be/4wVhc6gGJjAHer glasses seem to gleam with excitement as a worryingly happy smile appears on her face. Instant regret. “Thought you’d never ask! So, I’ve been taking a substantial amount of notes on these machines, the nanomachines they use, and even Giru and his removal tool.” She grabs both you and Videl by the arms and hurries you two to her room on the ship, setting you both down and pulling up a datapad. “See, clearly the nanomachines being used have an internal power source that isn’t exactly perfect, but seems to get the job done well enough. But, that Basilea has them, has had them for a while, and has been helping spread them to other planets is interesting. She seems to have intentionally infected aliens that would better speed along the development of more nanomachines, hence the ones we’ve seen on Brench and Imecka. BUT-!”“Pantea, at an 11, turn it down to at least an 8.” Videl asks her.“Sorry, sorry, getting to the point. SO, these aren’t just some grey goo type of machine. They have very specific functions and a standard form they conform to. It’s more like something mimicking natural biology than some kind of liquid metal blob that can take a certain shape.”“Like that one from that movie?” you comment.“Exactly. SO! With enough power, could be able to repair but not actually replicate indefinitely. Hence their regenerative capabilities. That they possess Ki also means on some level, they have SOME kind of non-mechanical component.”Videl rests her chin on her palms. “Whiiiich means...?”“I’ve been wondering on the power source of the nanomachines for a while now. But it’s all too clear once you really think about it.” Pantea places one hand on her hip. “They have some actual living component to them. Maybe not quite a soul like 19 or 16 have, but they are, in some essence, actually ‘alive.’ At the cost of them being able to endlessly replicate, they’re actually way, way more durable than they might appear. Giru? He might not look it, but he’s a whole league MORE advanced than the ones we’ve been facing before.” She motions for the robot to come in. “And his nanomachine removal tool is proof of that. It has sophistication well above what nanomachines we’ve been facing.”Oh this also sounds bad. “...So if we DO head to Giru’s homeworld, we’d be facing much, much stronger foes than the ones we’ve had to fight already?”Pantea crosses her arms. “Some could be stronger, for sure. But more importantly, they’d be significantly smarter too.” She then goes on to give you and Videl a very detailed lecture on all she’s recovered from it. While you can get some of it, her... enthusiasm causes her to go through a LOT of material really, really quickly. Poor Videl looks like she’s about to have her brain melt when Pantea’s finally done.(cont.)
>>3591932She almost seems like she’s ready for a second round before 19 walks in. “Pantea, given all you have discussed with them, would it be a potential risk for me to engage with them? Not even Dr. Gero’s robotics skills have reached a point comparable to that. Could I be at risk of being overtaken by one of them?”Pantea places her hands together. “...It would depend more on you as a person than your artificial body.”“As a person?” Videl repeats, rubbing the side of her head. “Also, I think my brain’s full. I’m gonna... lay down for a bit. Oof.”“What I mean is, your soul-” Pantea pokes 19 in the forehead. “-is much more important in keeping yourself from being overtaken by them than any part of the rest of you. The nanomachines operate under some kind of ‘living’ energy process. You could be able to hold them back, to an extent, should you end up attacked by them. I wouldn’t recommend just letting them at you, but still, there could be a way to hold them off, for you.”She smiles. “Thank you.”After you get some rest in, and a fresh change of clothes, you’ve still got a short bit before you all reach your destination. And you think to ask mom, “Say, did you record any of dad’s fight with Ledgic?”“Hm? Oh, no, it wasn’t actually that long a fight. Though I do have a pretty good memory of it.” she responds. “That said, are there any things you wanna know about it, Ghost Pepper?”“Weeeell, just a few more details on what dad did, exactly, Momma Bird.”“Heh, okay, see...” Maple gives you what you ask, explaining how dad’s been practicing on maintaining Super Saiyan 3 for longer periods of time. Sounds like he can manage it even longer than you, at this point. Bah, gonna need to catch up! She also tells you about Ledgic’s got some expert skills with magical materialization, producing swords, spears, and other weapons with significant durability that even Goku had some trouble against, while also repairing his clothes once the battle was decided. Dad also showed off some neat tricks of his own, using the Geist Magnum to target Ledgic’s weapons with one hand while charging a one-handed Kamehameha with the other to deliver the finishing blow to him.https://youtu.be/EJ1h7DQ2PZIFinally, you reach the planet Giru guessed hosted the cult, mom having the ship enter orbit around it as you all prepare. Looks like a very red and rocky place. Some bits of vegetation, bodies of water, but mostly mountainous and... you do sense some group of beings down there. Thousands all in one place, and ONLY one place, with very minor Ki signatures elsewhere. >A. All right, we heading down there all at once?>B. Better we scout out the place first, right? Maybe one of those minor Ki signatures could help us>C. Would it be better to keep the ship in orbit? Could be risky if we land it out in the open>D. Something else?Sorry about that being so long.

>>3591939“All right, we heading down there? Mom, while you’re at it, maybe you could use that Samma... Samma... Ditthi, was it? You know, to make extra sure.” you comment to her.“Heh. Was gonna do that, but smart thinking, Peppa. See you all in a bit.” And mom teleports down. You yourself take a moment to sense out the area a bit more as Pantea has the ship enter the atmosphere. Can’t make out MANY details, but there’s definitely something fishy down there. Egh, there’s... something else down there too. It feels a lot like the monsters you’ve faced before, but... worse. Maybe it-“...Uh, everyone?” Pantea interrupts your train of thought. “There’s a... no, there are TWO Dragon Balls on this planet!” she declares as she checks the Dragon Radar.“Two huh?” Raditz rubs his chin. “So that’s definitely suspicious.”“Both located near that concentration of Ki.” she points out. “This could get dicey.”You finally are able to land the ship, in a rocky canyon quite some distance away from the main area. Mom waits for you all outside, then explains what she’s sensed. “Nobody YET knows we’re here, but looks like some of the outposts on this planet are keeping watch. There are some smaller settlements around, but I wouldn’t even call them villages. Seem they’re more... labor camps of some sort.”“Oh thaaaat’s just wonderful. You know what I’m gonna start up a list at this point, see if I can pass it on to Jaco or Jiya.” Raditz remarks dryly.“You mentioned someone named ‘Merus’ before, Raditz.” 19 comments to him. “Not him?”“I don’t need to see his smug, pretty boy face again, even for shoving an extra workload on him.” your uncle grumbles. You notice 19 give a very, very slight smirk at his reaction. ...Was that intentional? Ah, whatever(cont.)
>>3592232“Hey, mind if I scout around a bit myself? This place just gives me this... vague sense of unease.”“Should scout out a bit too. Keep your Ki low and yourself out of sight, Peppa. There’s a good deal of hostility I’m sensing.” mom replies.“Got it!” You leap around the canyon, sticking towards the walls as you make your way towards one of the settlements. There, you see a number of people working on... some machines. People in tan robes, lacking any head coverings. Most of them seem to be various kinds of aliens. Huh, two of them look like Cui, and one like Guldo. Oh hey, there’s a green guy who looks like Burter.“Luud yaka-yaka-yaka...” the people chant as they work, carrying heavy equipment around. Some seem rather enthusiastic. Others... considerably less so.“Hurry up! We still have quotas to meet! Quotas filled, the closer you get to breaking those chains!” another figure, one in a red hood, calls out to them cheerfully. And... wait, is that music you hear? You move a little closer... that... He, he, he leads the congregation in the main tower! Uh... uh...! Crap, crap, my levels aren’t very high, Miss Ghost!’ He looks even more nervous now, shaking as he carries what looks like... a speaker. Oh for the love of-!‘Ghost Pepper.’ you correct him. ‘More. >>3592546‘Thaaaaank you. You’ll be free soon!’ And you teleport away to everyone, on a cliff overlooking the entrance to a large hilltop castle, a small town beneath it, appearing next to Raditz and causing him to jump when he sees your disguise. “Apparently the people here are giving their energy to the cult’s idol.” you explain.“...Like, they’re making a Spirit Bomb?” Videl asks. “Also Peppa what even is that?”“Scans don’t indicate anything of the sort, though there is an above-average concentration of energy deeper inside.” 19 comments.“Seriously what are you wearing?”Maple rubs her chin. “Hmm... I can just... sense the hostile intent from here. There’s something very wrong lurking in that castle.”“Why are you wearing it?”“Well... the Dragon Balls are inside too.” Pantea adds in. “Both of them.”“Stop wearing it, Peppa. Please.”“Videl, it’s a disguise! ...One apparently worn by higher-ranking members. Those labor camps aren’t optional. They’re forced on to junior members, even at the cost of their life savings.”“Yep. Typical cult behavior.” Raditz comments. “In my... PTO days I had to face a couple before. Tend to be much more reckless fighters.”“Sneaking in may be the optimal action to take. At least two groups, one to go after the Dragon Ball, one to confront the leader.” 19 states.>A. I’m going after their leader, this... Cardinal Muchy Muchy, whatever he is>B. Better secure the Dragon Ball first>C. >>3592554You shrug. “Well, whatever group you’re on, mom, I think I should take opposite. That way we’ve got our Instant Transmission users on different teams, able to help the other out of trouble should the need arise.” Hmm... speaking of trouble... “Maybe you should be the one taking on the main leader of the operation. You’ve got the best senses in regards to what they’d be planning and if they have any surprises in store, evil energies, that kind of thing, while I go for the Dragon Balls.”“I’ll stick with Peppa then.” Pantea comments. “Would rather not deal with some weird cult leader on this whole ordeal. I’d start yelling at him and I wouldn’t stop.”“I shall assist them.” 19 adds. Giru nods and floats towards her.“Well, best we get a move on then! Maple, Videl, I’m with you two.” Raditz exclaims, cracking his knuckles.“Ooh, wait, wait, guys! Before you go, disguises!” You Clothes Beam up some outfits for Pantea and 19 matching the one you made for yourself.“Excellent idea, Peppa!” mom praises, patting your head. “Come on guys!”Raditz and Videl hang their heads."Uuuugh. Fiiiiine.”And so, the two groups split up, mom leading hers towards a moving group in similar garb, while you, Pantea, and 19 leap through some more rocky hills. Along the way you duck down in a small cave as a ship passes overhead, one that... sort of looks like an oversized flying mushroom. You notice that it ends up landing on in another cliff some distance away... one with a substantial amount of other mushroom ships parked there. And- ...wait. Those ships... some of the parts of them look like the ones that labor camp were working on.Ah! That reminds you! “Pantea, there’s a certain song that this cult uses to... let’s say ‘motivate’ their members. Videl and mom heard it too, during their... video brochure. Think you might have a way we could weaponize it? Or at the very least counteract it so we, and they, don’t have to listen to it on repeat. Some kind of jamming signal, you know?”“Jamming signal, huh?” she repeats quietly. “You know. Maybe I could do something about that. We just need to find whatever AV control room they have for this kind of thing.”“If they are using subliminal messages in such music, I may be able to detect it.” 19 adds. “I lack many of the necessary components to truly be affected by such a thing, though I could pick up any unusual signals.”(cont.)
>>3592926https://youtu.be/zH30g49WYDQ“Smart thinking! Okay, let’s pick up the pace...” Pantea takes lead, checking the Dragon Radar on where you need to go. Eventually you reach the castle proper, avoiding the eyes of the guards and any security cameras. Reaching the interior, you slowly walk through a corridor leading to several strange rooms. One looks like it stores treasures of some kind, another is... just filled with tons of sculptures of some kind of idol. Like a chubby baby demon, with stubby little horns and tiny bat wings.Just then you all sense some folks approaching. More guards, people in armor patterned like the hoods you’re wearing. One of the two seems a bit older, more gruff. “Cardinal Muchy Muchy’s new assistant is an ass.”“Can’t be any worse than those Para Para boys.” the other responds, a bit more upbeat, laid back.“Oh he most certainly can. Every time I see that arrogant, smug little face of his I wanna stab something. Preferably him.”“Yes yes, you and your stabbing. That’s all you ever talk about. Oh, gonna stab this guy! Gonna stab THIS guy! Wait, this guy needs a good STABBING!” the second mockingly mimicks the voice of the first.“I’ll stab you if you don’t shut your mouth.”“Stop being such a child. Jar! “Soon enough the chains of the whole galaxy will be broken, and not even the likes of them can stand against it.”“Leon still could use some tune-ups. Maybe-” He stops. Crap. Crap crap crap. “...That barrel just move?”Craaaaap. Also, barrel? Clearly a jar.Footsteps grow closer. “...Maybe it did. I think we’ve got a little...” Both of them seem to draw their swords. “THIEF!” he yells out... at the jar next to you.“Whew.” you try to exhale softly.“AHA! STABBING TIME!” the first one calls out, attempting to... well, do exactly what he said. You dodge with ease and leap out, though the blade cut through a bit of your disguise. “Soooo, trying to sneak in, little thief?! He stares at you in shock for half a second. You glare back at him. “This isn’t a toy.” you tell the man. You then grab him by the arm and, before he can even process what’s going on, smack him onto the other guard hard enough to knock the both of them out. You then strut away, though you find that the commotion has drawn the attention of other guards.Thankfully, Pantea is able to jump in to distract them, trying to play it off like she’s looking for the bathrooms. “Down the hall and to the right, yeah?” she asks.“...To the left. Moron. What was that noise?”“Uh, beats me! Think it might’ve been... a mole?” Pantea tries to- ...hey wait did she just call you a-?“We are taking up too much time.” 19 states, chopping the two of them in the back of the neck and dragging them away.“So, you heard what they were talking about, right?” you ask. “Something about Leon, and a... Dolltaki guy?”“I heard.” Pantea responds, checking the Radar again. “The Dragon Balls are still down deeper. I’d guess they’re under heavy guard. I can sense some people deeper in the fortress, a few groups... and some other things lurking around.”“Then we’ll just have to stay aware of our surroundings.” The three of you tread carefully as you move in, coming to what seems to be a dead end... only for 19 to reveal the wall is hollow, forcing it open, and then shut behind you. A few more guards patrol the area, but you’re able to sense them coming with relative ease, ducking away from each group. You also catch glimpses of a main hall where several cultists have gathered around a massive statue. One... that gives off an intimidating aura. Finally, you reach the area the Dragon Radar says the two balls are located... and it’s absolutely swarming with guards. There do seem to be people inside though. Hmm... decisions...>A. >>3595397You look to Pantea and 19. “Looks like this is the place. Ready to get all this done?”The two of them nod, and you place your fingers on your forehead. Okay, locking onto one of the people in the room... there! You teleport away, appearing in- ...a girl’s bedroom? Wha...? There are dollhouses and satin curtains and lacy... whaaaa? And dolls... like, 40 dolls. That’s as many as-https://youtu.be/E_dpCwkmBF0“Doododododo~” a man in front of you all, his back facing you, sings a little tune. He’s dressed nothing like the rest of the cult members, instead seeming more like an eccentric old... weirdo. He prances across the room. “Ahh, and it looks like we will have more to add to this collection~! All I need is to gather a couple more of those and Dr. Myuu will hand over another few little contraptions~!” Still barely noticing you, he prances over to a bed where another couple dolls are set. “OoooooOOOH~! And how are you all today my lovelies?~”“Dolltaki.” a man grumbles at him, still unaware that you’ve entered this room. A man... dressed in PTO armor. Though his shoulderpads slope downrard, with a cape flowing from the back and shoulders of the armor. He has a wide, cobra-like hood on his head, his skin purple and face vaguely froglike.“Yes yes, I knoooow. You’re still waiting on the five Leon units. They’ll be ready shortly.”“Stop playing with your dolls and answer my damn question!” he demands, marching right past you all. “WHEN?!”“Oh give it... mmmh, until the end of the day.” Dolltaki responds, waving his hand dismissively.“Fine. But they better be capable of what you said they’d be, Kuriza needs to be convinced or else...” the alien in PTO armor turns, about to leave, finally noticing the three of you. He stares, freezing in mild terror... but you notice part of it is a silvery color, mechanical, with an eye in a crosshair shape. “...Dolltaki.”“I told you we’ll be ready by the end of the day!”“DOLLTAKI.”“WHAT?!”The PTO alien points at you all. “Who are they?”Dolltaki turns his head away from his dolls as he... looks like he was about to start undressing them. He... gives you the most UNCOMFORTABLE look as he does, noticing your outfit through your torn disguise. “Huh. They... seem to be intruders. OOOOOH! BUT WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE!?~” The man almost leaps at you. “Little girl~ Cuuuute little girl~ Remove that ridiculous disguise, I want to see how cute you are~!”(cont.)
>>3595639https://youtu.be/Qe7RTohgYgw...“Okay.” you respond flatly. And toss the disguise at him hard enough to knock him down. Pantea and 19 do the same, blinding the PTO guy, Pantea pinning him down as he’s blinded. As you casually stroll towards the Dragon Balls, Dolltaki manages to pull the discarded disguise off him, and... he lets out a girlish squeal of joy. “Oh you are just the CUTEST little thing!” He leaps towards you, giggling creepily. “Oh my, is that tail real?”“Yes.” You then smack him in the face with your tail, sending him into one of the dollhouses. Well, Dragon Balls on a pedestal right here. That was easy! You glance at the bed with the dolls on it. Oh ew, ew, ew are those stains? ARE THOSE STAINS?! Brain bleach, brain bleach! BRAIN BLEACH! AAAGH!“Haa... haaa! Feisty... little one... little girls should be... much sweeter...” Dolltaki stands, shaking his head. “Well, I don’t know HOW you got past my guards, but it is ever so rare an adorable little girl like yourself wanders in here! Usually Muchy Muchy has to get a whole family to hand them over.”And the brain bleach isn’t needed. All you feel now is angry. “...You’re revolting.”“And cute girls like you should be SILENT!” He brings up a cane of some sort. You fire a Ki blast before he can use it, shattering the cane. “...Well. That hasn’t happpened before. I will... need to talk with Myuu about that. GUUAAAAAARDS!”The door slams open as guards attempt to pour in. 19 dispatches them one by one as you walk off with the Dragon Balls in your hands. Down below you feel something... ominous. A surge of power. Looking outside you see the idol the cultists are worshiping start to glow. Mom’s team seem to be slowly moving their way towards it when the cultists drag someone towards the idol. It then... fires a beam at them as a man chants praises to... that thing. The beam turns the person into a-...A doll. You look back at the dolls all around the room. Immediately.” You grab his collar with your left hand as you catch the Dragon Ball you were holding with your tail. “And I mean IMMEDIATELY.” You slam him against the wall.In a mixture of terror and slight... joy? Dolltaki replies, “W-well you uh... kinda broke the control rod-”“That thing turned someone into a doll.” You point down at the statue. “How do we get it to change them back?!”“Lord Luud’s power isn’t so simple! It steadily grows in strength, until-”The ground below you shakes. You glance outside and find someone shouting at mom’s group. “You DARE challenge the might of Luud?!”“Oh, we dare all right.” Mom, Raditz, and Videl throw off their disguises as the cultists gather closer to the idol. “You’re not hurting another soul, Muchy Muchy!”He tries to hit mom with a whip, only for her to let out a Kiai that deflects it. A short scuffle ensues, but you turn your attention back to Dolltaki. “ANSWERS. HOW. DO. WE. CHANGE. THEM. BACK?!”“Y-YOU NEED TO CONVINCE LUUD TO RETURN THE PERSON’S POWER!” he exclaims, cowering.“Good. Next Question. Do you know the name Basilea?”“B-Basilea? W-well I...”Another rumble down below. Raditz has blasted Muchy Muchy after the cultist attempted to shoot him with a beam gun... only for the man’s whip to start talking, changing shape into a... monster much like the ones you’ve been facing before. It even feels just like them. 19 approaches you, and you hand her the Dragon Balls. “The guards have been pacified.”“Oooooh! SHE IS CUUUUUTE!” Dolltaki squeals, loud enough for your ears to start hurting.“I am not.” 19 responds flatly.“Ooooh I just wanna dress her up in all sorts of outfits and-!” And no. You slam him against the wall again. “Owww...”“BASILEA.”“Th-that person only came by a couple times! I dunno who she is really! I didn’t even know you know who she is! HONEST! HONEST!”The sound of ground erupting outside draws your attention away. A gigantic blue lion-like machine crashes through the place as the whip monster summons a pile of bricks that it tries to toss at Videl. She dodges them, mom engaging with the whip monster directly as Raditz fights the lion. You see the whip thing grab on to your mom’s arm with one of its tendrils, attempting to send a jolt towards her. Maple smirks. “Absolutely the wrong target for such a thing, buddy!” And she brings out an electrified barrier that repels the machine and sends it into a pillar.“...So they’re fully operational already.” the PTO person mumbles. “Then you were just stalling after all.”“You’re going to have a lot to answer for yourself, you know.” Pantea tells him, holding him up after Clothes Beaming on some restraints.“DOLLTAKI, YOU CUR! THE LEON UNITS WILL BE OURS!”(cont.)
>>3595921The sound of machines breaking outside. The head of the blue lion robot passes by the window, looking exceptionally confused. And oh wow, Videl, bringing out the big guns already? She’s using the Kaio-Ten. Guess she’s had enough of this game. Pantea smugly asks him, “You were saying?”“W-wha... WHAT?! AFTER ALL THAT! ALL I HAD TO GIVE UP! ALL I’VE DONE, AND THIS IS THE BEST YOU COULD DO?!” the alien exclaims. He struggles against the restraints, Pantea actually having to put effort into holding him. “I’LL STRANGLE YOU, DOLLTAKI! I’LL MAKE YOU RUE THE DAY YOU THOUGHT YOU COULD CHEAT US! I’LL TEAR YOUR HEAD OFF AND SHOVE IT UP YOUR-!”Mom, Videl, and Raditz all stand above the defeated cultists, the red aura of the Kaio-ken around your mother as Raditz’s blonde hair flows slightly. They look up towards you all. “Think we’re done here!” Videl exclaims, giving you a thumb’s up....Something doesn’t feel right.https://youtu.be/itmkyYyH37YMaple suddenly looks up with shock, then dodges away, exclaiming, “EVERYONE, OUT OF THE WAY!”Raditz manages to dodge as well, but... the statue’s eyes light up, firing off a beam on its own. Mom follows suit, getting the other one, and the two of you have it in a fairly decent bind, with its arms strapped to a pair of pillars flanking it.Temporarily.It tugs on the restraints and finds them hard to break. The pillars though, much, much easier. It lets out another one of those ear-piercing screams, one that actually ends up turning into a massive beam that bores through the rest of the castle, blasting it apart. You and mom end up caught up in the blast, knocked away from the machine as it starts to march awkwardly forward. Raditz again attempts to knock it down, only for it to barely even notice him as he again and again tries to pummel it.“LUUUUUUUUD!” the robot yells, slamming its chest with its fists, managing to hit Raditz purely by accident, swatting him to the ground.“Okay, THIS? This is getting annoying!” your uncle yells out. “And is it just me, or is this thing getting stronger?”“You got an explanation for that, Dolltaki?” you snipe out at him angrily.“I-I don’t know! It may be gaining more strength from one of its absorbed components!”...Videl! As you and mom continue to try to restrain its movement, this time having a bit more success with holding its legs down, you sense for the source of the increase in power. Come on, Videl... come on! THERE! ‘P-Pantea? Is that...?’‘O-oh, was this your plan too, Pantea?’ you ask both her and Videl.‘Peppa? Where are you guys?’‘Aha, sort of! But this makes it easier! Peppa! Videl! Keep raising your Ki!’‘Uh, there’s a lot of other guys around here too. All of them seem pretty... upset about what’s happened to them.’ Videl’s voice tells you.‘There’s an internal component of this thing, it should be a sort of weak point for the three of us to lock on to. Keep it busy for as long as you can!’ Pantea explains. ‘Then I’ll be able to use Giru to reverse the flow of energy from it.’“Okay, here goes nothing!” You power up into Super Saiyan, dodging around the machine easily as its movement grows more and more sluggish... but power rises more and more. As does Videl’s. It’s feeding off her energy but- ...wait, there!‘FOUND IT!’ Videl calls out. There’s a loud thud from the machine’s interior. ‘OW! Owwww! Ow, ow, ow!’‘This is why we wait until we’re ALL ready.’ Pantea instructs. ‘Okay, on the count of three, Peppa, Videl, you two blast the point the two of you are sensing, but don’t give it a full go. Just strong enough that you think it’ll leave a mark. One...’‘Two...’ you continue.‘THREE!’(cont.)
>>3596686https://youtu.be/IpR6sADyjwMA trio of Ki blasts, two from outside, one from inside, hit the same point on the robot, a section on its chest. “LUUUUUUUUUD!” it screams out, the scream growing louder again, agh, ow, ow! Ears! It releases another blast of energy from its mouth, though this one is much more poorly aimed, firing down towards the village below, though with 19 able to leap in the way and absorb the brunt of it, even if some of it manages to damage her in the process. In the distance you swear you hear someone shout out, “THE GHOST SCREAM!”However, the beam fizzles, and the robot’s body jerks awkwardly against its restraints. And... its normally off-white with a greenish tint begins to glow red. But, as it starts to keep growing stronger, you see Pantea leap down with Giru right where the blasts hit. He then changes his arm into a... weird little device. Wait... that looks like the one Dolltaki had!“Giru, now!” Pantea tells him.“GIRU! REVERSING ENERGY FLOW!”The robot reacts like it was just blasted with a million volts of electricity. “LUUUUUUUUUuuuuuu...” its cry slowly begins to soften, the body slouching. A small explosion at where Giru hit the machine leads to the whole robot collapsing. Out come beams of light... with everyone that was trapped inside the thing released!(cont.)
>>3596687“WE DID IT!” Pantea cheers, hugging Giru, first, and then leaping over to Videl and helping her up, giving her a tight hug as well.“H-hey! Easy!” Videl tells her, laughing. “Legs still feel a little weird from being inside that thing.”“I’m just glad you’re okay.” you tell Videl. She and Pantea pull you in for a hug as well. You look to Pantea. “So, does Giru have that whole device in his systems now?”“No, you made sure of that.” Pantea sticks her tongue out at you teasingly. “But I was able to recover just enough of it for him to analyze a countermeasure.”“W-well then, looks like all’s well that ends well!” Dolltaki calls out, everyone noticing him trying to walk off. “I’ll be going, so the lot of you-”“Oh you’re not going anywhere you creep!” you growl at him.Raditz blocks his path, arms crossed as he looks down at the man. “I think the Galactic Patrol would just LOVE to hear about what’s been going on down here.”“N-now let’s not be hasty! The new upgrades to the units were supposed to bring them in line with even Luud himself!” Dolltaki exclaims.“Well, the one we faced was barely worth a warm-up.” Raditz tells him.You give Dolltaki a cold glare. “Where are they?”“S-sub-basement!” he blurts out, flinching. “Third level! Sub-basement!”“Thank you. Let’s find this Wada guy and wrap up any loose ends here.”As Raditz takes Dolltaki away and 19 works on watching over all the cultists for the time being, as well as those recovered from their time being dolls (a few young girls who are DEEPLY traumatized), you, mom, Videl, Pantea, and Giru all head down deeper into what was left of the castle. You pass by some fairly mundane traps and a few... less so ones, until you reach a larger section deep in the subterranean areas of the castle.“Can’t quite sense anyone around here.” you comment, looking around. “Kinda dark and dreary here too.”The form of a large, lion-like machine looms over you, much like the other you saw a short while ago. This one, though, is red in color. Further along you see another robot lion, colored green. And another, a different, lighter shade of blue than the one you first saw. And a yellow one after that. Finally, at the very end of this hangar, a black lion. Huh.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2okaf_qOqgE“Heeheeheehee~” a girl’s voice echoes through the area. “Sis, sis, it’s them! Oh it’s been so long since we saw them.”“Indeed it is, sis.” another girl’s voice echoes. “Videl, Pantea, Peppa, how ARE you all doing?~”“What am I, chopped liver?” mom asks cheekily, muttering something under her breath and turning around. “...You’re working with Towa, aren’t you?”“Hahahaha!~”“Hahahahahaha!~”“Where’s Wada?” Pantea demands.“Oh he’s already been collected. She made sure he’d serve his purpose.” the first voice replies. It... is actually a little familiar.“I know where the two of you are hiding.” mom states. “...And I was partially right, wasn’t I? Not just Towa.”“Ahahaha~! You assume correctly. The little princess is playing in the big leagues now~!” A ki signature can be felt alongside the voice. One that also feels familiar.>A. Imma blast ‘em.”“Oh no you don’t, Son Peppa!” the first voice yells, a slimy form dripping down from the ceiling. Wait, you have seen her before! A green, slime-like alien in armor like Mira’s, looking vaguely like a girl about your age, flings her arms out towards you, stretching them like Piccolo. “HAHAHA!” You dodge with ease, and then hide your Ki as you teleport behind her, quickly leaping up as she’s confused by her attack missing, taking aim at the green lion. “RASEN! MAGNUM!” You fire a spiraling blast that hits the robot lion. However, while it does some damage, it doesn’t quite destroy it.“Awww! B’s gonna be upset now.” the green girl grumbles at you, her Ki rising. “I let you damage my new toy!”“YOUR new toy?” You dodge a barrage of Ki blasts from her and leap towards the red lion, firing another Rasen Magnum at it. Also connects, but also doesn’t do as much damage as you hoped. While that took a chunk out of it, it didn’t destroy the thing. Gonna need to amp up the juice.Videl and Pantea meanwhile hold off the other girl, one like the green but with her skin color a shade of blue, and a bit more tactical in how she handles the two of them. She also doesn’t seem like she’s holding back, unlike the green one who’s only really getting started. Pantea ends up knocked aside by her as she throws out her arm at the blue lion... and engulfs it with her gum-like appendage. “Yyyyyoink!” Her arm shrinks back to normal size as she seems to just... absorb the robot into her body. Her other arm reaches for the yellow lion, Videl leaping in the way and blasting her. “Oh no you don’t!”While that does stop the alien from grabbing the lion, she instead ends up wrapping her arm around Videl, grip tight and immobilizing. “Now that just wasn’t very smart, was it?”“Maybe not, but how about this?” mom asks her, managing to get to the black lion. Mom’s aura flares red with the Kaio-ken. “Phantom Shotgun!” She slams her fist into the lion’s head, unleashing her attack and actually managing to punch through the head of the machine.“Oooogh! Maple! You! YOOOUUU!” the green girl yells out angrily, steam venting from the holes in her arms and shoulders. “Haru Haru! SNACK TIME!”“If you insist, Shun Shun!”The tentacle-like appendages on their heads start to glow with energy. Mom seems to get a premonition of danger. “Everyone, get out of the way!”>A. You dodge it, and more than that you manage to shield yourself with the green lion... and watch as the machine turns into a green macaroon. What. WHAT.“Dumb move, Son Peppa!” she calls out, quickly grabbing the snack and trying to fire her beam at you again. You attempt to counter with the Clothes Beam, only for the two to collide and send out a... for lack of better word, “blast” of cotton candy clothing that gets thrown at you, covering you in it. Eeeegggh. Agh, it’s in your hair! Eww! Shower! Need a shower! It- ...huh, raspberry and bubblegum. Haru Haru attempts to fire hers all at once at Maple, Pantea, and Videl, but fails to hit any of them, with Videl freeing herself from the alien’s grip with the Kaio-Ten and mom and Pantea not only dodging her, but flying around her so quickly that her head tentacles seem to get confused, firing randomly until they end up all wrapped around her face. “Pantea, now!” mom calls out to her, the two of them snapping their fingers.“Will O’ Wisp!”“AAAAGH!” the gum-like girl screams in pain as she’s engulfed in flames.“SIS!” Shun Shun shouts. She tries to fire at Maple and Pantea, but misses. Noticing you free again, she aggressively tries to attack you. But, in a show of superior skill, you leave afterimages as you dash around, even using Instant Transmission to trip her up and copy what mom and Pantea did. The dodging works, and she ends up too disoriented to keep trying. And just to give her an extra spook, you use Instant Transmission to appear behind her, your back to hers. “I’m right here. Try aiming a little better next time.”She leaps back in surprise, her sister panting slightly and regrouping with her. “N-next time, Son Peppa! >>3601584Great session, looking forward to more cute.
>>3601594Maybe we can ask some of our fans to arrange special treatment.
>>3601584Date is off to quite an interesting start already. Thanks for running!>>3601594>>3601599Seems to only be a 10 minute wait. Though... how long are minutes on this planet, Kato?>>3601587You don't get to play Mr. Moral High Ground after making your suggestion sound like a joke. You want people supporting you, don't make light of it.
>>3601604We never found out what color the stains were, the twirling to gather spaghetti could have happened, and been totally gross with his hand on their body and their feet in his mouth.
>>3601597>looking forward to more cute.I'm not sure we deserve it if while chasing after cute we ignore others' suffering. Seriously, the thought of therapy for those people never once came up as an option that Kato posted, even after the write-in. Peppa is losing sympathy from having it all.
>>3601607>>3601612Then don't treat it like a joke. Simple as that.
>>3601616You treated being used as a an eating utensil while you're inanimate yet conscious as a joke, really says more about you.
>>3601617Still doing it. Making it worse now.
>>3601619>>3568233I swore to Kato that anything I suggest as a vote is something I'm absolutely serious about.
>>3601620And yet here you are. Joking about it.
>>3601621Not really. Where's the joke you see?
>>3601584Was a good read Kato. But I have to ask, are you doing okay? Maybe it's just me catching up on the updates in the early morning, but for a while now I've noticed some less frequent updates than before. Everything doing okay?
>>3602197She usually does updates with an hour and a half in between.
>>3601584It's nice to see there's a Galactic awareness of Peppa. I wonder how soon it will be multi-versal...

I still try to give enough time for everyone to post their votes.Sorry about this delay. We're back.>>3601584While suddenly hounded by growing mob of fans, the line keeps moving, Cocoa paying attention to it to make sure you don’t miss anything. Also doing her best to keep them from swarming you too much. Suddenly realizing how much Videl actually was doing to hold off the folks at the Tournament. Oof.“Is that tail real?”“Who does your hair?”“Are you the ruler of those Saiyans now?”“Is this the line for the bathroom?”“Hot dogs! Get your hot dogs!”...They sell hot dogs here? Ah someone’s pulling you! “Peppa, come on.” Oh. Oh it’s Cocoa. “Come oooon! We’re next!”“Coming, coming!” You do your best to get away from the crowd.Cocoa asks for two tickets, then hurries you away with her, holding your wrist as she tries to keep you away from the crowd. “Starting to wonder if disguises would make this easier.” she comments half-jokingly, looking back to you.>A. Nah, we’ll be fine, don’t worry about it!>B. Being a bit more discrete might be a good idea, but don’t think we quite need disguises>C. Costumes, got it! Clothes Beam some up!>D. Something else?

>>3603394>B.Hope everything works out for you, Kato.
>>3603394>C.Hey if you need to take a day off or something, none of us would hold it against you. We're still having fun here.
>>3603394>Make up your damn mind. If you want people to support important votes like that instead of all of them going in, then stick to it. If you don't, then stick to that. Stop trying to change it whenever it suits you.I haven't changed anything, you didn't put it in your options because you decided to have the MC not care about it.
>>3603394>D. Wonder if there's another face paint booth around here?We should be a Mamoswine this time!
>>3603394>Make up your damn mind. If you want people to support important votes like that instead of all of them going in, then stick to it. If you don't, then stick to that. Stop trying to change it whenever it suits you. Also, you forgot what that was about: Combat choices. Each option we pick carries with it a risk, because we could get damaged by the enemy if we fail at that task. Dialogue choices don't have that, and I've never said they needed support. We've only gone over this, what, three times now?
>>3603394>Anesidora“Costumes, got it! Clothes Beam, coming up!” You get a jacket and some boots to go with Cocoa’s sundress, light enough that it won’t be too warm in this kind of place, and a large hat to help cover her face. For yourself, however, you go for a complete makeover, doing what you can to hide your identity. Baseball cap, sunglasses, matching light jacket, change of pants, and a longer shirt to keep your tail covered as you tuck it around your waist. Much better! “...Kinda wish they had some facepaint stations to help cover it up.”Cocoa laughs. “They don’t, I checked. Now let’s get going.”The two of you move towards a group of people heading to a long vehicle, looking like the cross between an air tram and a glass-bottom boat. Quietly, you mention, “You know, this technique is way more handy than I kinda thought it’d be. It’s just got so many extra uses and things it can do. Maybe I could teach you it, some time.”“Didn’t it take you years to learn yourself?”You blush a little and sink back a bit. “W-well that’s beside the point... I mean, you know, some day...”Cocoa giggles. “Probably not any time in the near future, sadly. But the thought is nice.”(cont.)
>>3603704Getting on the vehicle, you and Cocoa sit a bit towards the back, away from the more chatty crowd up front. Up steps a tour guide, who, to your surprise, is also an Earthling. A kind-looking dog lady. “Hello everyone!” she greets cheerfully, waving to the gathered aliens. “My name is Belle, and I am with the Earth Tourism Board to help you all through this little adventure. This planet, as many of you may know, is Anesidora, and was first discovered 72 Galactic Standard years ago. It is also the home to the first truly collaborative effort between an Earth company, Nine-Tail Fox Studios, and the wider universe, with Carterous Studios, Qua Films, and Metamore Magic, along with special assistance from the Galactic Patrol!”Cocoa sits next to you attentively as the dog lady speaks. “Here we go.”You bring your hand up to your face to hide a soft giggle. “Someone’s awfully excited.”The vehicle begins to move, with the dog lady continuing to speak. “Anesidora is home to a wide variety of plant and animal life, many of which have been used in documentary films across the galaxy before. But its most notable feature, and one of the main inspirations behind the upcoming Earth film, are these floating land masses that you all have no doubt seen as you arrived.” She moves over to a small terminal, and you notice her tail wagging happily as she gets something started on it. “Now, if you could all turn to this little introduction by the director, main filmmaker, and main producer of this...”A holographic screen lights up, an Earthling man waving to the group. “Hello, science fiction fans. Thank you all for coming to this tour promoting my upcoming film, ‘Pandora.’ I am James...”https://youtu.be/23yKr9-xVpwThe man starts explaining how he was enamored by the sight of the floating mountains, and you see an inserted picture view of something flying around one in a very birdlike manner. And, mimicking it, the tour vehicle does the same. Cocoa keeps her focus on the holographic screen. “Wow, the cinematography is everything it’s cracked up to be.” she comments quietly.“Mm?”“It doesn’t hold on the shot for too long, it keeps it moving just enough to really let the audience take in the view, then move to dialogue without breaking the flow.” The picture-in-picture has gone from the mountain shot to one of a kinda like... cat-like alien in Earthling military clothing. Not official, but clearly patterned after it, standing with some more normal soldiers, talking with them. “Ah, and they really are using practical effects!”>A. You might wanna explain a few things for me, Cocoa. It looks pretty, but not completely sure on what’s all that impressive about it>B. Best to listen in too, you just know she’s gonna quiz you on this later if you don’t>C. Check out the scenery a bit, it IS really pretty outside, and the vehicle’s designed for such a thing
>>3603708woops, that got cut off there>D. Something else?
>>3603704>Baseball cap, sunglassesShould we wear a medical mask to complete the look of Up-to-no-good?

Whoa, what if James Cameron is an android made by the machine mutants to blend in with natives and spread Xenomorphs which are prototype machine mutants across the universe?
>>3603769What if his last name is Camera and he actually is a camera machine mutant who takes over its wielder's body?
Guys, I think Goku might be a secret agent for the World Government who goes out on "business trips" to thwart terrorists. Or he's Turbo Man, whichever.Maple should slap Towa with her wedding ring equipped!
>>3603708You wave your hand to the hologram. “Um, Mr. James, Sir, you ever going to reveal who that alien space jockey thing-?”Cocoa pulls your arm down and sighs. “Peppa. Hologram.”“Yeah but-!”“Not live.”“But-!”“Plus that’s rude.” Cocoa glares. You sink back just a bit. “Yes’m.”“Trying to not draw attention to yourself, remember?” Cocoa tugs on your baseball cap a bit.“Okay, okay! Sorry, sorry...” Agh. You hide your face. Stupid, stupid! She nudges you with her elbow. “Just no outbursts, okay?”“Yes’m...” Well that was embarrassing. You try to turn your attention back to the presentation.“...through the help of several animal trainers who are familiar with the land. However, to ensure the safety of the animals native to the planet, our CGI artists used painstaking detail to map down every feature they could, and applied it to the practical props.” The tour ship moves past some larger rock formations, grounded this time, as some large, dragon-like animals fly beneath you.“Ahh, so it’s a mix still. Mmh. Wonder if I’ll still be able to tell...” Cocoa comments to herself.Actually managing to pay attention now, you consider, “You know, practical effects really do look better on-screen. Like remember the earlier Star Wars movies? Amazing what a lava lamp and a q-tip can do.”She smiles again. “Yeah. Certainly better than the...” Cocoa sighs. “Ahem. ‘Creative’ usage of CGI in the prequels.”“How rood.”Cocoa giggles quietly. “Peppa!”(cont.)
>>3603849“Of course, the mountains are still the most inspiring part of the whole endeavor. The moment I saw them with my own eyes, it was breathtaking. I hope my film manages to capture even a fraction of the natural beauty on this world.” The tour heads up again, circling around another flying mountain. The hologram switches to another person, though some movie previews still play. Oh, it’s some Galactic Patrol person? “Of course, this natural beauty comes at a cost, as Elite Galactic Patrolman Merus can explain.”“Oh! I’ve heard about him.” you tell Cocoa. “Uncle Raditz thinks he’s a bit of a jerk.”“The floating effect you see of the mountains is a result of high concentrations of Blue Aurum in the mountains. While the planet has been mostly designated a nature preserve, there is still mining for small amounts of the ore in the mountains. And with the mining comes trouble.” Merus explains. “Because of the high potency of the ore as a starship fuel, and because of the sparser population on the world, Anesidora has its run-ins with bandits and thieves from time to time. It is my hope, as a Galactic Patrolman, that this film will help highlight the need to keep this world free from criminal intent.”You hear a few people in the tour group swoon. “That Merus boy is so dreeeamy~!”“What an upstanding young man.”“Is there a bathroom on this ship?”>A. Ask the tour lady, not the hologram, politely if there were any incidents involving theft of the ore during filming>B. That Blue Aurum stuff does seem pretty dangerous in the wrong hands, wonder where else it’s mined from?>C. Cocoa, anything that really stands out to you about this place? Or how about that film?>D. Something else?
>>3603851>B.>C."Does your ki sense feel anything weird? Anything I'm missing?">D. "The message from before also mentioned Sky Gold."
>>3603851>A.>C. Do you sense anything from those floating mountains?
>>3603863Flying moss of some kind?
>>3603851“That Blue Aurum stuff is pretty dangerous. Wonder where else it’s mined from?”Cocoa gets her phone out. “Let’s see... aha, there we go. One of the biggest mining operations is on planet Jung. Did a bit more digging into that kind of thing.” She nudges your arm again. “It was in the file I sent over, you know.”“Eheh, sorry, was more focused on all the stuff you had in there about this place.” you apologize bashfully. “Say, Cocoa, anything else about this place that stands out to you? Anything, you know, interesting or weird you’ve sensed?”“Hmm... have noticed something. A lot of the animals seem to kinda congregate around some very specific spots on the planet. That and-” She gives a glance outside, towards a smaller mountain in the distance. “...Huh. Another tour group?”You notice it too. A small ship, similar to the one you’re in, though the people inside it seem... different. There’s only about four of them. Huh. You quickly raise your hand and motion to the tour guide dog lady. “Excuse me, Ma’am?”“Yes?”“During the filming, were there any incidents like the one Mr. Merus is describing?”She nods quickly. “Yes, actually. Two full days of filming were canceled because of the incident. Mr. Camera may value the whole product, but he put the safety of the cast and crew above all else.” She then looks to the hologram. “Thankfully, the Galactic Patrol was able to apprehend the criminals without any danger to civilian life.”“Ah, okay. Thank you.” You sit back a bit, the tip of your tail patting your waist contemplatively. “Hmm... that message I saw also mentioned things like Sky Gold. We do have that on Earth, but it’s rather rare...”“Think it’s someone up to no good?” Cocoa asks quietly.“Well, something to keep an eye on. I am supposed to keep you out of harm’s way, you know. Not gonna let anyone harm a single hair on my Cocoa’s head.” Smiling, blushing a little, and shaking her head, Cocoa places her hand on her face. “Peppaaaaa.”You glance at where the craft went one more time. >>3603947>>3603972Glad to hear, and thanks for playing!Okay, we're back!>>3603918You try to keep paying attention to the tour as the tour vehicle continues to fly, the holograms now going on to talk about some of the actors and their experiences. Apparently the tall, blue, catlike humanoids are aliens from planet... Snack. Snack. Huh. Apparently Carterous Studios is on their planet.“It was an amazing experience working with Sam. I was a little worried at first, I heard that Earthlings were still pretty new to the galactic stage and didn’t want to spook him, but Sam barely batted an eye when we first met. Very professional on the set, and we quickly got on the same wavelength while playing the two halves of Josh Sully.” the blue alien cat person states, wearing a cast jacket over a white shirt. “Off-set though we became fast friends, even bonded over some baseball. He’s a big fan of an Earthling star player, Yamcha, and got me to watch a couple games with him.”She tour vehicle again mimics the movement on display of the picture-in-picture, bringing you closer to the forest below. A number of animals pass by below, six-limbed creatures scurrying about. You also catch a glimpse of something... unusual, silvery, in the hand of one of the animals. One that looks a bit like a cow. A shifty cow. Up to no good. What are you hiding there, cow? Hey, don’t you-“...Peppa? Something up?” Cocoa asks.>A. Nah, nothing, nothing, just thought I saw something strange>B. Think I need to step out for just a bit. I’ll be right back, I swear!>C. Cocoa, how much longer is this supposed to be again? I’m getting some weird vibes here. Maybe it’a paranoia, but I don’t wanna risk you getting hurt>D. Something else?
>>3605639>C.I know now is not the time but Peppa should be honest.Peppa doesn't want her Cocoa to be kidnapped by ninjas, or snatched by Towa and her cohorts. Peppa can't be Cocoa's shield, so she tries to teach her enough to be aware however that also makes her a target if she sticks out. Now she has to worry about Borg/Cyberman/Machine Mutant/Baby/Cocoa or becoming Machine Mutant/Baby Peppa. So...yeah. Gotta figure out a way to make sure Cocoa can keep herself okay without her becoming a bigger target. Training her is a double-edged sword. >D. "Combine your ki sense with me." Peppa's sensed machine mutant ki and together they can probably find it in no time.
>>3605677Supporting.>hit a ki sense with another ki sense
>>3605677Supporting.Also Jesus Christ that pic.
>>3605639You glance at the cow again. “Cocoa, how much longer is this tour?” You see her frown slightly. “No, I don’t mean it like that. Look, like... I’m getting some weird vibes here. Maybe it’s just me being paranoid, but, I don’t want you getting hurt. I know this place is supposed to be safe and everything, but you can feel it too, can’t you?”Cocoa hesitates a reply. She then slowly nods. “I... kinda do. Not entirely sure what, but I know something’s out there.”Sigh. “I don’t want to interrupt this bit for us. But I don’t... I don’t want to put you in harm’s way.”“I know, I know.” Her eyes turn back to the hologram. “It’s got a few more minutes still.”“Got an idea then. Let’s work together, try and sense out for what’s causing that feeling of unease. That fair?”She thinks it over, rubbing her forehead. “...If we do find it, and it’s not an immediate threat, we wait until the tour’s over. And if we do find it, don’t go off and try to solve it yourself. Report it. Let the people whose job it is to handle this kind of thing handle it. That fair?”>A. Absolutely!>B. But Cocoa, what if someone’s in danger?>C. Getting you home ASAP if there is danger, just so you know>D. Something else?
>>3606043>A.It might be best if we act casual any way. Avoid suspicion by pretending we're oblivious. Just act natural.

Now, let’s do this.”The two of you focus, trying to sense out for anything unusual. The world IS absolutely teeming with life, and a diverse amount of it. But after some concentration, you’re able to sense out some peculiar Ki signatures out in the distance... and that shifty cow seems to be moving towards them. Cocoa also notices something, looking out and spotting that other tour ship moving off... right towards where you sense that odd group of Ki signatures....One of them seems a good deal more familiar than the others, too. “Cocoa, are we moving towards them?”“No, looks like we’re about to double back around.”“Okay, that’s good at least. Still, I definitely don’t like the feel of what’s over there.”Her eyes back on the holograms, Cocoa seems to get an idea. “...So that Galactic Patrolman, Merus, is supposed to be in charge of this planet’s overall security, right?”“Hmm? What’re you thinking, Cocoa?”“Well, if there is something shady going down, he should be the one we contact. Right?” She pulls out her goggles and her phone. “Aaaaand we have a way of gathering evidence, don’t we? So we get the evidence, let ‘em know, and let ‘em deal with it.”>A. A brilliant plan. While keeping track of the situation, and Cocoa multitasking by doing the same and following the rest of the presentation, the tour finally comes to an end. The dog lady kindly wishes everyone well as you head off, a gift shop near the area the tour ship stops at.“You want to WHAT?!” your uncle barks out angrily through your goggles.“If he messes up on this, or if I solve it first, you can point and laugh at him when this is all over...?” Butter ‘em up just a bit. That’ll help.“Tch... just... fine. Whatever.” he grumbles at you.“You’re at that planet, right?”“M2, yeah. Just landed. It’s like the entire place was nearly covered in metal, save for one central area that still has some green on it. The whole world just gives me the creeps. Pantea and Giru seem to have a plan though, but- ...huh. Maple, you sense that? Look, Peppa, I’ll talk later. We might’ve found something.”“Having fun on your daaaaate?~” you hear Videl tease, giggling.“Focuuus.” Raditz grumbles. The contact info is sent, and you and Cocoa look to each other.“Ready to do this?”“Mhmm. Hold on tight.”With her arms around you, you take to the air, flying off in the direction of the suspicious group. You do get a good look of the mountains up close, at least, and... wow, it’s beautiful out here. Cocoa hugs you just a little tighter, looking around in awe as you fly. But it sadly doesn’t last long, as you spot something odd and silvery in the distance. Hiding your Ki and slowing down, you and Cocoa take cover on a large, floating boulder. The shifty cow you spotter earlier approaches a group in... PTO armor.(cont.)
>>3606755https://youtu.be/iMFenZDmg78“Doesn’t look like anyone I’ve seen before, but- ...wait, something else is coming, duck down a bit.” you tell Cocoa, doing the same, even Clothes Beaming a sheet colored like the rock over the two of you to better keep you away from prying eyes. The both of you ready yourselves to take some pictures of what’s going down. The figure... is a strange, small, purple robot. One that’s like an angrier, more threatening-looking Giru. It holds up something to the shifty cow, which displays a... hologram? One of a blue man with pointed ears. Wait, you... you’ve seen that guy before, you think. He’s talking to the... cow. And the cow is talking back! The silvery thing in the cow’s hand gives off a blue glow, floating to the purple robot. The man in the hologram inspects it, and seems to praise the cow for its hard work. You also notice, now that you’ve gotten a good look, that the PTO soldiers have some cybernetic enhancements to them. Much like the ones you saw on Tech-Tech, and the one who escaped when you took down the cult.“So what exactly are they trying to do with it?” Cocoa asks quietly.“Not... entirely sure. You’re getting all this though, right?”“Hah, like a pro, Peppa.” she replies. “Hey... what’s-?”An ominous feeling creeps over you as you sense one of the floating rocks above you... somehow gain power. Peeking out of the cover, you spot... a silver substance creep all over the rock. “We gotta go.”“Wait why? They’ve-” Cocoa looks up. “Ohhhh crap.”A drop of the silvery substance drips from the rock above you and down to the one you’re on... and it starts to spread across that one too. Reacting almost on instinct, you scoop Cocoa up in your arms and leap away. About halfway through the process though, it stops. THEY stopped it. “I think we’ve got more than enough for him to do something about this.” You lock on to the Ki of someone near the gift shop the two of you left from. “Heh, close one?”“Y-yeah...” Cocoa mumbles out. And... and aha. Ahaha~! She’s blushing a little~! “Heart’s racing a bit and... uh. Th-thanks...”“Want me to carry you for the rest of the day?”“Peppa!” Cocoa pushes at you, but doesn’t quuuiiiite say no. She then pokes your cheek. “Don’t you get ahead of yourself.”“Well, still got someone to notify about all this...” You set her down, Cocoa straightening out her dress. “Galactic Patrolman Merus? This is Son Peppa, and I’d like to report a crime in your jurisdiction...”>DRAGON BALL TUFFLE QUEST KAI #18... I believe it was a nanomachine weapon of some sort.” Hoo boy more of these things, and Giru’s all the way on that other world with everyone else.“Then I may be able to intercept them... Son Peppa, was it? I believe Raditz has mentioned you before.” Merus smiles pleasantly. “It is good to see another Saiyan that respects justice.”You rub the back of your neck. “Well, half-Saiyan, half-Tuffle. But, sir, one small correction. Above both of those, I’m an Earthling through and through. And I just don’t want to stand by when I see something bad going down, is all.”“Thank you again for your help. I cannot ask you to bring yourself into danger, but are you still able to detect if they are on this world?”You look off in the direction of the group. “...Yeah. They’re still here. Haven’t moved much.”“Okay. If you are willing, I have these two requests of you: First, if they seem like they’re about to head off-world, notify me immediately. Second, if there is any risk to other civilians, can you notify the planet’s authorities? If you must decline, I will understand.”>A. Affirmative, sir!>B. >>3608853It's Cocoas call how to deal with this, continuing the date here and just ignoring possible danger isn't great. Maybe she'd enjoy playing detective. Maybe she wants to go home.
Rolled 14, 8, 16 = 38 (3d20)>>3608696With a sweet smile, you ask, “Cocoa, what do you think we should do? Your call, I’ll stick with you through it.”She rubs her forehead. “Heh, jeeze, put me on the spot why don’t ya.”“I trust your judgement here. And this is our date, I don’t wanna go running off in the middle of it without you.”Her hand rubs her face a bit, but you can see her smiling as you say that. “...Ah screw it. Sure. Let’s handle this together.”“All right, Cocoa. Mr. Merus, did you get all that?”“I did. And I thank you, both of you. Keep in contact and stay safe, citizens.”“Hooooh.” you sigh out deeply. “Okay, one more thing, I’m gonna forward all this to mom’s group.” You forward it all to them, but... strange. Seems like they’ve got their scouters off. Oh, wait, you get a reply! From Pantea.“Busy at the moment. Trying to find something. Contact back soon.”Ah. Well. At least they’re okay. “Well Cocoa. Are you really sure about this?”“Yes. And I’ve even got an idea.” she points her thumb in the direction of the gift shop. “We continue the date like normal, but keep watch from afar. Play it cool, just to make sure we don’t tip anyone off. And that starts with the gift shop here. Sound good?”>A. Yep! Let’s!>B. Was there anything you wanted from it?>C. You sure you don’t want me to carry you for the rest of the date? You seemed to like that~>D. Something else?
>>3609053>A, B, C, D.Let's get something small but cute. Like matching phone charms. Oh! Also a photo, maybe have Cocoa take it.

>>3609053>A & B.
>>3609053“Yep! Let’s!” you respond cheerfully. “Speaking of the giftshop, was there anything you wanted from it?”“Hmm... maybe, maybe. Let’s take a look in there and see.”The two of you start walking, and a bit before you reach the shop, you comment quietly, teasingly, “You sure you don’t want me to carry you for the rest of the date? You seemed to like it~”She elbows you in the ribs with her left arm and pinches the ridge of her nose with her right hand, cheeks reddening. “Peppaaaa.”“Heeheehee~”“You butt.”https://youtu.be/Rqk9z_LTptsInside the shop, you find it... surprisingly familiar. Trinkets, postcards, plush toys, action figures, clothes, candy and other sna- ...is that blue popcorn. That is blue popcorn. Why is that popcorn blue? Is it even popcorn? You move in closer, squinting and tilting your head at it. What even- ...it’s popcorn. But blue.“Peppa I think we can do better than snacks.” Cocoa remarks dryly.“But... but it’s blue!”“And it looks overpriced as heck.” She tugs at your sleeve. “Come oooon.”“It’s bluuuuue...” you call out quietly. She drags you away to a different part of the shop. One that... woah!“Make your own action figure.” Cocoa reads as the text scrolls by. “Oof. But it’s 9000 Zenni...”“I can get a couple. Or are you wanting something a bit smaller? Phone charm or something.”“Smaller’s good. But let’s see, maybe- oh! Over here!” She hurries you to a brown, bowl-like table with a number of little charms in smaller indentations. “Make your own bracelets, necklaces, and even phone charms! Only 1900 Zenni too!”“There we go. Whatcha say?” You stand beside her, your tail trying to sawy happily while still wrapped around your waist.“Let’s~!”And so the two of you make a pair of them, matching bracelets that can double as phone charms, with you and Cocoa deciding to mix your desired colors in them. Black beads, white beads, earthen red stones, brilliant blue gems, and to top it off, a yellow and pink pair of feathers. You and Cocoa tap the back of your hands together when you’re finished. They look great! The two of you check the bracelets out, the clerk apparently recognizing you, but merely smiles and lets you and Cocoa leave quietly. You stretch your arms, looking at the bracelet you made through the sunlight. “See? Am I right or am I right?”“It was a good idea. Thanks, Peppa.”“Hmm... say, Cocoa, were there any other planets you’d like to visit?”“Ah, well, I’ve had a few ideas, but nothing immediate. This was one I really wanted to go to...” She blushes and smiles. “Thanks, Peppa. It’s been nice.”“Oh! Before we’re done, how about a picture to commemorate? Together?”“Another good idea. Higher than even that other Saiyan.”You bring your arms down. Your hair stands on end. Your aura surges. “Five.”“Sigma Force, capture this hybrid!” the red robot yells out. “Keep her as intact as possible!”(cont.)
>>3611344The four robots launch at you, only for you to knock them all away with a Kiai as you transform into a Super Saiyan. The green-capped robot launches its forearm at you, a cable connecting to the rest of its body. You bring out your Power Pole and swiftly knock the arm aside. The second, the blue, smallest one, has its chest open up and fire off a silvery net out of a pair of rockets. You have the Power Pole extend and spin it around, smacking both nets into the ground. The largest of the group manages to appear out of the ground next to you and... attempts to engulf you with its body. You pull away but it gets part of your arm. It seems to have some vents open up on its body, about to hit you with some kind of gas. “Bad move.” you tell it coldly, teleporting away and smashing it into the smaller two, about to thwack it off with the Power Pole before it separates into several metallic spheres and flies off.The final one, the red robot, seems to merely observe you as you fight, its “eye” scanning you cautiously. You march towards it slowly, twirling the Power Pole in your hand. “Quite impressive. Quite impressive indeed. A Tuffle with the strength of a Saiyan... you are something else. We must capture you and-” You thwack it in the back of the head before it can finish, leaving an afterimage where it was looking.“Come now, hybrid, you’re only delaying the inevitable.” the three others tell you mechanically.“You took my mom and my uncle. You took my friends. I’m not in the mood for your games. Tell me where they are.”“Mom? Of course, of course... very, very curious.” the red one hums aloud. “Ah, but we couldn’t have done that without the help of DB4649T2006RS.”You spot Giru poke its head out of the trash can. Your eyes lock on to him and glare. Before the four machines can advance on you again, you fly forward, teleporting and smacking each one of them to knock them away as you grab Giru out of the trash and fly off with him, using the Raio-ken to increase your speed and outrun the others before they have a chance of catching up to you. Complications... have arisen.” he beeps out, cryptically and lowly.Restraining yourself and trying to calm down just a bit more, you sigh. “Giru, look, I get that your memory’s probably been restored, finally, and something happened with that. If your original programming took over and you had no choice but to help them, it’s not your fault. So please, tell me everything that happened. From the moment everyone landed until the moment I got here.”“Giru, Giru... Plan A and B overview:”He begins to tell you about how a return signal from planet M2 triggered the restoration of his lost memories. About how he’s a Machine Mutant, one of the... billions that inhabit the world. Built by one Dr. Myuu, an apparent Tuffle creation... like Dr. Raichi was. His goal wasn’t just to find Saiyans, but to bring them back to M2 to help complete Dr. Raichi’s ultimate creation, something that is supposed to “secure the legacy of the Tuffles.” That he became aware of mom however has apparently changed his priority. Plan A was supposed to involve infiltration, seeking out the Doctor and confronting him directly, but the signal that recovered Giru’s memories wasn’t a one-way broadcast. A return signal transfered a substantial amount of information back to them, alerting them to the presence of your mother and to uncle Raditz. Apparently everyone ended up overwhelmed by the combined forces of the planet, taken away to be analyzed.Which leads to Plan B. Pantea and Giru came up with this one, in which they were to have Giru help them once captured, restoring them while inside and in the presence of this Dr. Myuu. The problem is... Pantea was captured before she could explain this to you, and now your arrival has made you the priority target of the entire planet. Aware that you weren’t in on the plan, Giru tried to warn you of the danger present. Which... may have compromised things with him.You give Giru a gentle hug. “Thanks for at least watching out for me, buddy.”“Giru, Giru. Plan B still in effect!”“Right... so we need to do something to get you to them...”>A. Maybe it’d be better if you caused a distraction that allows Giru to sneak back into their ranks>B. >>3611499>B, C, D.
>>3611499You sense around the planet for any strong Ki signatures. Hmm... still getting this... weird vibe like there’s something all around you. Like... like it’s coming from the planet itself. “Giru, what’s up with this? Why’s the planet got this... Ki signature to it?”“Several billion Machine Mutants are currently coordinating together around the planet in preparation for further expansion. Giru, Giru.” He floats up slightly, looking around. “Several forces have begun patrols seeking out you, Peppa.”“Great...” But... there’s something else to this. Something much more ominous. You do however sense that group you were facing just a while ago moving... away from here. Sneaking out of cover carefully, you sense that they’ve gone to a central tower structure far off from the ruined city area you were just in. A much newer structure, too. “...What’s that building?” you point out.“M2 Force Command Center, Giru, Giru. Nearby is main science lab.” He points out a different structure, not as tall, but significantly wider.“Science lab... that may be where they’ve got everyone.” You sigh softly. Mom, uncle Raditz, Videl, Pantea, 19... wait. Wait. “Did they get everyone, Giru? Even 16? What about our ship?”“Giru, Giru. Spaceship has been confiscated.”“Great. So they’ve got 16 too.” You pinch the ridge of your nose. “Mmh. Don’t suppose there’s a moon somewhere that might be hiding something else?”“Planet’s original moon has been mostly deconstructed for artificial satellites and other raw materials. Smaller orbital platforms exist around the planet.”“All right. Best we work together then and try to infiltrate this place. You know it better than I do, Giru, so lead the way.”“Giru, Giru, what if we are caught?”“Eh, I can just say I’ve captured you and am forcing you to help me. Backup plan.” Also... true, from a certain point of view. The two of you head off, Giru leading as he brings you to a subway station in the abandoned city. You definitely sense less of the Machine Mutants around, but... you do find it a little strange. “Why does this look so run down, different from the rest of the planet?”“Last remains of previous organic civilization on M2.” he tells you.“Wait... previous?”“Original organic life forms deemed unsited to Dr. Myuu’s plans. Replaced by Machine Mutants.”>A. So, wait, are you actually native to this planet?>B. Just one more reason Dr. Myuu needs to be stopped, then. Best to focus and keep moving>C. So can machine mutant metal be used to make swords or what? Also glad these guys don't have guns that knock out organics like Som's M-2 did...
>>3611815I hope for a drill duel with Rilldo!
>>3611691“Soooo wait. Are you actually native to this planet?”“M2 was the planet I was made on! M1 is the first planet the Machine Mutants were created.”“There’s a- ...no, no of course there’s a planet M1.” You shake your head. “Well, can you tell me more about the people from this world? The non-Machine Mutants?” You get a hopeful glimmer in your eye. “Wait, when you say replace, do you mean mutated like those other things we encountered before? So maybe your nanomachine removal tool can change some of them back! There an expiration date on that or-?”“Original organic inhabitants deemed unsuited to be effective Machine Mutants by Dr. Myuu. Systematic removal of them to make way for further Machine Mutant production. Giru, Giru. I was a second generation production after the initial conquest.”You stop moving, lowering your head. “...So he’s a hypocrite.”“Giru, Giru?”You clench your fists. “He’s just like Dr. Raichi. No... no he’s worse. Committing genocide, taking over whole planets... did he look to the Saiyans’ conquest of Plant and think the Tuffles should have just killed off the Saiyans instead?!”“Giru, Giru...”“He’s going to pay for this. And I’m going to remember them.” You look to Giru with determination, a fire in your eyes. “What were they called? The original inhabitants?”“The Sodans. Technologically well-developed. Originally peaceful and oriented on trade, culture, and the arts. Lacking combat skills many other races display.”“Then Dr. Myuu will pay for them too.” you declare.“Scans indicate the surge in strength came from this direction.” you hear a mechanical voice state.Crap, gotta hide. You motion for Giru to follow as you head into a more secure location, away from the marching machines. A group of ten of them seem to be patrolling for you. Ugh. Okay, keep Ki as low as possible. They pass through without detecting you, and quickly you move past them, heading along the way towards the building Giru suspects that everyone was taken to. Another group passes by, 12 this time, all looking like the one you saw just a while ago, purple robots like Giru but substantially bigger. You finally reach a basement level to the building... but there’s no way really in or out of it.(cont.)
>>3611956Well, no normal way. You make a Ki drill and quickly punch through, into the main building. And, you do it discretely enough to not draw attention, paying careful consideration to the movement of Ki signatures around the area. You make it about halfway through the area when...“Ah, we’ve found you, DB4649T2006RS. Were you able to escape capture from the hybrid?” something addresses Giru.“GIRU, GIRU!” he blurts out in a panic. “S-SUCCESSFUL ESCAPE ATTEMPT!”“Excellent!”You’ve already taken to hiding in a small space on one of the walls, a little compartment touching the ceiling. Guess being short has its advantages, or you’d never fit in there. Four green robots about the same size and shape as Giru all surround him, and start to move away with him in spite of his protests that he has somewhere to be. Crrrap!>A. Rescue him and knock these little robots away!>B. Blast out something further away to distract them!>C. Clothes Beam something up and toss it to the robots to blind them!>D. Something else?
>>3611960Hey, is it possible to use the principle of the clothes beam to conjure Paint or does it also take water magic? We could give Giru some promotions if we replace one of these robots.
>>3612001>>3612005Ooh, if we can blind the robots with Clothes Beam, then switch Giru's color with one, we can have Giru stand in as that one while the other one's taken to be scanned or updated to the new OS.
>>3611960>>3612005Wait, if we airbrush the conjured paint with wind magic, we may not need water!
>>3612005>>3612009>>3612015Won't trick them.

Sorry, that's no way to behave with my bad reading comprehension. I just don't know what to do, if we wreck these robots the base will be on alert and getting our family out will become infinitely harder if not impossible, and leaving Giru to get reconfigured is also bad. Maybe we can just follow Giru as stealthily as we can?

>>3611960https://youtu.be/xzd0Vf96cxwOkay, gotta think of something, think of something... aha! Clothes Beam! Here goes! You throw out a shimmering sequin dress to distract them, then, in a flash, teleport to Giru and grab him out of their arms. They do end up a little surprised by that, but you follow it up by completely covering all of the robots in sequin sheets, threaded with the elastic PTO armor material to get it hard to remove AND to keep them from merging with the walls to follow you, just in case. And you dash off, keeping your Ki low and yourself away from the prying eyes of any potential security cameras. “Heh, looks like I captured you yet again, Giru.” you tell the robot teasingly.“Giru, Giru. Apprehended by the hybrid! Giru... not in danger!”You laugh quietly as you continue to make your way up the building. You dodge and swerve past more patrols, and some other, less threatening-looking robots. Clearly scientist ones of some fashion. Hmm... gah, this building really is designed more for their usage than it is yours. If only you could...!“Giru, Giru. Familiar energy signature detected! Two floors up!”You look upwards. Wait... you sense it too! Not conscious... but it’s mom! MOM! “Agh, and we just need to get up there...!”“....Giru, Giru. I have an idea! Track me!” he states, floating upward... and through the floor, just like the other Machine Mutants. But you can still sense him... wait, OF COURSE!“Giru, you’re a lifesaver!” Probably literally! You wait for him to get into position, then lock on to his energy and teleport! He jumps happily, and the two of you high-five. Then, making absolute sure that your energy’s as suppressed as possible, you move forward into what looks to be their main lab... with most everyone unconscious. Though... they’re missing 19 and 16. Glancing around you see most of the scientist Machine Mutants have gathered around mom, while a few others are addressing a figure on a screen.(cont.)
>>3612176“She exceeds all expectations! Of not just a Tuffle, but most organisms. Dr. Myuu will be most pleased, will he not, General Rilldo?”A muscular blue alien with pointed ears and yellow armor on the screen smirks. “Indeed he will be. What of the Saiyan? And the others?”“While the robots are still undergoing analysis, we have concluded that the Earthlings have similar potential to the Tuffle we have saved. It appears that our visitor from a month ago was telling the truth, that she had a plan to bring one Tuffle to us.”The man on the screen snorts. “I still don’t trust her. Her and those cronies she’s gathered. That she has proven resistant to attempts to join us as a Machine Mutant means there are ulterior motives to her involvement with us.”“But she has kept her word quite well. And the upgrades suggested to the Leon units are nothing short of inspiring.”He rests his chin on his knuckles. “Hmnh. And what of those who have left M1? Arashio, Museio, and the others?”“Contact has been... sparse, to say the least. We have heard more reports of Mugen’s activities-”“Grraaah. HIM again.” Rilldo waves his hand dismissively. “Those trinkets he’s been collecting are junk. He’s a waste of time.”Well, aren’t they just giving you a lot of answers? ...But also raising so, so many more questions. Better get ready to bust this little chat, because- ...wait where’s Giru? He was right by your leg and-! ...Why’s he over by Pantea? Giru’s arm changes shape. He looks back to you and gives you the OK signal. “Following Plan B!”“Giru you-!”There’s a hiss as the pod Pantea’s in depressurizes. And her eyes immediately open wide. Almost like she’d planned this, she gets to one of the control panels and holds up what looks like a sort of USB drive, pushing it hard into the controls... and it seems to merge with them! Everyone else starts to awaken as panic sweeps across the lab.“Teleportation system located!” Giru calls out to Pantea. “Transferring Flashbang Virus!”“And looks like you saved our bacon there, buddy!”“Giru, Giru, couldn’t have done it without Peppa’s help!”She looks towards you as you become increasingly bewildered by what’s going on. “Ah Peppa I knew I could count on you!” she exclaims cheerfully, almost pouncing on you and hugging you tight. “You saved us!”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOLQ17RB2V0>PEPPA AND PANTEA SOCIAL LINK 5: COMPLETE!>PEPPA AND COCA SOCIAL LINK 8: COMPLETE!>DRAGON BALL TUFFLE QUEST KAI #18 END.>Twitter account is @KatoQm, will have status updates there>Got some questions for the QM? >>3612179Yeah, had fun. Peppa seems to get all the important bits, doesn't she? What's on the horizon for Gohan and Izumi?
>>3612179Had a great time Kato! Thread was fun, full of a lot of nice twists and turns. Good amount of action, nice bits of humor, and we get some more answers to some questions. So Mugen is part of the Machine Mutants? And there are others like him out there? Also, we sticking with Peppa or switching to Izzy or Gohan?

>>3612190Typo. Sorry. Late, tired.>>3612196>>3612207Glad to hear, and thanks for playing! So, next week I plan to bring us back to Earth with Izzy, unless y'all would prefer to stick with Peppa.
>>3612211Last thread's ending would've been a good spot to switch to Izzy, not now tho.
>>3612211Also, you putting Secret Princess on hiatus till you play through the new Zelda game so you can bring in more stuff to freshen/dehydrate the setting up?
>>3612211Izzy sounds fun.>>3612218Zelda also sounds fun, but it's no rush for me either way.

---RANTING---RANTING---RANTING---Playing as Gohan, it's all so pointless. We have a goal for him we have no idea on how to achieve, (Seriously, how the fuck is he going to beat Peppa if he's stuck dealing with the equivalent of the Super 17 saga while she deals with actual shit?), and his fights rely on transforming and big attacks over any thought to counter his opponent. (The game was always rigged for Peppa! She is gonna HUMILIATE him!) Once again, I wish we never had twin brothers in this story. (He was deemed too loserly to inherit Rainbow when Peppa got the Power Pole!)Then again, without Acer, we wouldn't have Izzy, which would be a crime. Thus, Acer's only there for sex.Much like the Crane School students now that I think of it... None of them are capable combatants for today's struggles despite their years of training, the only thing of worth to the story that Shao's done is mother a saiyan and Keli has offered advice to Peppa on her lovelife. Both of them there for sex instead of being someone to watch out for in a tournament as an interesting fight. The Ninja plot with Bisa and Yurin was really something cool, but then it hinged around the big dumb bug that was Hirudegarn and made it way longer than that whole thing needed to be. So many bugs, I hate them. The bees were really cute! I love them.Trying to think back to the last time I had fun playing as Gohan, could have been the fight at the Majins before Sword convinced the majority to wuss out on having ongoing conflict based on Gohan's issues which dig him deeper into a well of darkness, and 180 on our direction, and now Gohan is a nothing character who seeks to prove he doesn't suck.I don't want to play as Gohan if he's not doing something important to the main conflict, it's all just a bunch if soul searching and proving he can be cool because people aren't thrilled with how canon!Gohan turned out even if they don't quite measure up to canon!Gohan. If he's doing something to advance the plot instead dealing with his angst which outside forces pick at like a scab, then sure, I'd love to play as him. Not that having angst is bad, it's that every time it's brought up we resolve to be Better, and this is Totally how 14 year olds act when they're dissatisfied with life no matter what they do. Be sad when you're sad, that's allowed. Other than that, everything he is can FUCK OFF, I find his fighting style bland, his love interest too set-in-stone for his lovelife to be interesting, and his goals shallow and unobtainable, futile to even try at.TL;DRIzzy next week sounds fun, but it seems like we're leaving our monkey in the middle of a HAPPENING situation. Then again, that's Dragon Ball for ya!
>>3612211>Typo. Sorry. Late, tired. It's alright, just saw an opportunity for a pun with Coca and Sodan.
>>3612285Christ. I'm glad you don't run this.
>>3612304Same here, Kato's the best.
>>3612285Hey, 13arabba. Leave me out of your rants please.
>>3612956No can do, you played a big part in making Gohan boring.
>>3612179That was really sweet, Kato. Honestly the date was my favorite part, I like the back and forth Cocoa and Peppa have. But that isn't to say the GT rewrite stuff hasn't been fun too! Honestly this is some good stuff, better than how GT did it (though not that such a thing is a high bar to pass, but actually making it interesting definitely is). I must say I'm impressed with how closely you stick to the spirit of it all while still having it make sense in context of the Quest. As for next time, Izzy is still my favorite but I won't mind sticking with Peppa.>>3612285You really do use a lot of words to say very little, mate. You also really seem to be shortsighted on this.
>>3612991>better than how GT did it (though not that such a thing is a high bar to pass, but actually making it interesting definitely is).Our past few fights before the Sigma Force have been against bugs and dolls and plants who, despite being Machine Mutants, can't talk. It's a bit hard to make things interesting with foes like that. I'm just glad we're getting to the good part of this Gran Turismo.
>>3613029Though, I really liked seeing the different worlds and the date with Cocoa, the less serious moments were good even if the fights weren't.
>>3613029And there you go again. Lot of words to say very little.
>>3613072That's what the TL;DR was for. Was even that too much for you to read?
>>3613093You only focus on the battles and are mad at them because some (but not all) don't have bantz. You said basically nothing.
>>3613134>Dragon Ball Tuffle Quest is a fighting manga.
>>3613144Proving my point mate. You don't exactly say a lot. You don't think through your complaints. You can't admit when you're wrong. You're a bit of a tard.
>>3613174I admit when I'm wrong all the time.
>>3613199You're still blaming others for making Gohan "boring."
>>3613213I voted for him not to go further beyond, I tried to make edgy write-ins that were still within reason for the character to say, I've voted for him not to mope and have a backbone, I voted for him to deal with criminals and terrorists in a brutal way that fit a code of Justice, and you all denied that. I can't make him interesting, and all this tug of war has left us with a half-assed PC who is only there for filler arcs full of power fantasy that could be solved in like a minute if Trip got out Justice Hatchiyack from the start.
>>3613293That's the point. You kept pushing and pushing and trying to go to greater extremes for poorly justified reasons. It made everyone else want to avoid it as much as possible. All of what happened is your fault.
>>3613385No, wanting something and not getting it due to others' wills isn't my fault.
>>3613416You argued your points poorly. You came up with poor excuses. You turned everyone against you by going too far. This is very much your fault mate. You convinced no one to support you, quite the opposite in fact. You're not in charge here, you can't make people agree with you just because you think you're right. You need to convince them. You didn't.
>>3613458I did convince them, Sword convinced them second, and convinced me to be brutal against Van Zant, which of course he left me high and dry on because Sword is not reliable or trustworthy. SwordAnon is a liar through and through, his words are good but his word isn't.
>>3613462You went too far and nobody wanted to support you. You failed to convince anyone that you were correct. That I have to spend half a Sunday explaining this to you shows you're a bit of a 'tard. That you refuse to accept you were wrong shows you're a bit of a cunt.
>>3613494I didn't go too far, the majority decided we all did and clung on to Sword's admonishing like a lifeline before Gohan dared do anything controversial like being a problematic character.Btw it's Saturday.
>>3613462Goddamn, I'm a Jedi fucking Master I guess. Force persuading all of you like this.Should change my name to Laser Saber Anon.
>>3613513Nah, you're too old.
>>3613508It's Sunday here. And you did. You went too far and you justified your reasoning poorly. Look back at what you posted.
>>3613537I convinced people to be the dark to Peppa's light, the edgy to her goody-goody, but in the end they just couldn't commit to it. Moralfaggotry is contagious.
>>3613537Anon, I get what your doing and it's noble but its not going to work. You do realize that right?
>>3613554How is him trying to blame me any more noble than me blaming you for leaving me to rot all those times you put forth an agreed-upon plan for us to follow?
>>3613553Who did you actually convince? Look back at the whole exchange. You're passing blame on to others and just being a cunt. And now you're all aggro because you don't want to accept that you went too far and couldn't justify it well enough to convince other players. It's not like the archives are down. You can see this for yourself.>>3613554If he won't accept it that's his problem, but I'd rather he take it out on me than give Kato more shit over things that clearly aren't her fault.
>>3613691I'm not giving Kato shit on how Gohan turned out, I blame y'all for that. I just told her I didn't want to play as him for the foreseeable future and why.And what little edginess we got in with Gohan was agreed upon by others before we defaulted from Maple looked at us judgingly.
>>3613691>>3613691What's even funnier is that I wasn't around for the Van Zant thing.I went to bed after my post at 9. I didn't start posting again until Wednesday. I never convinced anyone. It was that extreme ass post of Sharia Law implications that did it.Now if Zant had tried anything stupid, say attack or attack someone else, yeah sure? But the guy is literally an insect compared to us. It's like taking a nuke to kill a single ant.God this is gonna be fun to read in the archives.
>>3613697Little. Little being the key word. Going full edgelord turned people off form it, but you kept pushing. Pushing pushing pushing until nobody wanted anything to do with it. Look back at what is there. Look at who really called you out. And don't pretend that you're not trying to shame her into never letting Gohan have another turn as QMC.You have a good afternoon mate. Use it to for some self-reflection.
>>3613710Also, that day was my birthday. Heh.
>>3613710Yeah, it's real funny how you put forth killing him in the discord and then didn't stick around to see it through. Your words are as worthless as a fart.Kato keeps saying to work with y'all, but I don't think she understands that I get nothing out of that. You don't have dedication, determination, or ambition. You're this shell who adopts a name and a gimmick so he can be recognized as somebody, but has nothing real to offer. Working together with you is a fool's game, Sword.
>>3613718Look, I know it's futile to reason with someone who refuses to see things from your point-of-view, so let's just lay it out there:>I refuse to see things from your point of view.and>You refuse to see things from my point of view.I know what I'm right and wrong about more than anyone, and you're the same, so arguing about who's right and wrong is pointless.
>>3613789You're a silly billy.
>>3613815I can't believe you'd say that to me.
>>3613815Honestly, even though you're a fraud and your word is mud, you're still by far the nicest of the players here, and I've missed being able to talk with you. Even if it's a lie, I still want to believe it. Can we be friends again?
>>3612179So, did you time that date the way you did because of the month, Kato? Was still cute, just curious.
>>3613799Mate, I gave you very clear directions on what to do to confirm what you're trying to say. But you refuse to listen. You refuse to acknowledge that you went too far. You didn't even really have a lot of people on your side. Even when you wanted to to full edgelord with Gohan, people were telling you to tone it down. You are the one at fault here, because you pushed too hard and went too far, and instead of taking a moment to consider that you went too far you have instead been trying to shame Kato into never letting Gohan have another turn.Maybe stop being such a cunt about all this if want more than other players telling you to shut up.
>>3618598So you're saying I tried so hard, and got so far, but in the end it doesn't even matter? It's not bad to want things and not want things. It is bad to not commit to something. Sword, with his heart failing him, got us to fold when Maple stared at us cross-ways, yet suggested that we kill Van Zant and his men. He doesn't have any idea for Gohan's direction besides what would be edgy or heroic at a given moment.Besides, if you like Gohan so much, isn't it better for you that we only play him during important times?
>>3618642You know who called you out the most? It was this post here: >>3182607 Of course, he called out more than just you. But you're the one who pushed it the hardest. Reread the threads. See just how wrong you actually are. Or don't and keep sticking your fingers in your ears.
>>3618663Can't read it, dead link, would you mind copying it for me?
>>3618693Oh yeah, that guy couldn't read, examine the environment, nor read the supplementary materials. And you listened to him?
>>3618699And now you do it again. Deny, deny, deny you were ever at fault. The poor arguments you have in response only turned more people away. Do you deny that too?
>>3618709No, it's not wrong to want something and push the rest of the players past the point of no return until you get it. That's what every player does.
>>3618715Absolutely wrong. This isn't how it has ever worked, and will never be how it works. Sorry mate, I did actually try to help you. But you're clearly never going to understand you're in the wrong here. All you ever did was push other players away.Hope some day you'll be able to understand that. Later, cunt.
>>3618693Seriously, this is the worst callout post, coming from a guy who makes callout posts every three threads.>The dude went from the collected sibling to the most insecure, emo bitch I've seen in a long time, who prioritizes a fucking sword over his mother's bleeding out body. Complete with cringy write ins that I don't know how the fuck passed. They think being calm and collected is the most important ideal to strive for, with no deviating from that. If they had it their way, they would respond to Maple getting stabbed with "This is fine." Not knowing that despite their exteriors, the crude Red Oni can express his emotions freely and lives healthier, while the Blue Oni bottles them up until they usually do something drastic and explosive. He left Maple with Kibito because Kibito had shown he was a good healer with Yamcha's injury, so Gohan trusted him to heal her while he went and fought.Lots of write-ins from us are cringy and get in anyways, edgy or not.>I guess I'm only good at cheating deathDisplays their bad reading comprehension and spelling, the write-in they were bitching about said "creating death," when Gohan's mental space was more in the area of harm than heal. >>Am I good kid Mommy? I had an angry thought.>Like where did this come from? This is such a 180 from how he's acted in the past and huge departure from his future self who has it worse than him. It's almost OOC in my eyes.Guy didn't even read Kato's Khristmas Special, why are you holding his words in high regard when he doesn't have all the facts?>So I don't know what the deal is with you guys. Is your plan to make Gohan the bad sibling and have them fight later or something?Yes. I wanted him with a Majin tattoo facing off against his sister in the tourney because it would be fucking amazing.>Cause all of these developments feel rather forced.Every one of our developments is forced. We're going along the rails of canon, we know what we're going to get and what we want to do with it.>Or just want to watch him spiral out of control cause it's funny and you have a spare MC or two?Funny? Maybe. Entertaining? Yes, would Shakespeare be entertaining if the characters didn't flip out over the course of a play?>The fact that we are now even entertaining the option to summon an alien dictator that rules via fear that will be at odds with our friends and family shows how bad this has gotten. It's a major slap in the face of them too since it shows a lack of trust.Oh yeah, isn't fear the absolute worst compared to blowing fools to smithereens? America really should've just nuked dissenters until they quieted down. And what's the matter with being at odds with your family? Your parents could have political beliefs on a completely different side of what you want, do you have to go with what they want because they're family? Teenage rebellion is normal, and children aren't drones that copy their parents 100%.

>>3618910You got brain problems, dude. See a doctor.
I cannot believe either of y'all got this kind of time on your hands.
How many times have I asked this in the last few months? How many times have said to stop? I'm not fucking saying it again. I've dealt with enough of this kind of shit offline already and I'm quite frankly past the point of being nice about this. You're adults. Fucking act like it.

>>3620163Every time we have an argument, you complain about it at the end once it's run its course out of some sense of impartiality and to not do it anymore, when we're just sharing our respective opinions and stances on how things are and how we would like things to be. This often leads to conflicts with each other, which are ultimately pointless as it's one side who thinks they know everything against another side who thinks they're hot shit, each side trying to get the other to surrender to their logic. If you don't like it when we aggressively disagree at each other, you don't have to read it and smooth things over, you're not our parent and we're all adults here. We know as much as you do unless it's something explicitly about the quest you run. In that case, we'll probably ask you for clarification on some detail we're arguing over, in which case I hope you would answer, but I don't expect anything outside the designated time we're playing. After all, you don't have to do any of this, everything you do on here is entirely voluntary on your end, so you don't have to do or read anything you don't care for.
>>3620194No. Fuck off.
>>3620206See ya next week then.
>>3619801All right Kato. Sorry for adding to your stress.
>>3620868Hey now, it wasn't your fault she got stressed, it was hers for taking it upon herself. She's just trying to seem more of a victim and important than she actually is.
>>3620908Always got to have the last word, eh?
>>3621254Always got to have the latest sword!
>>3619801If you need to take some time away from this, Kato, no same person will blame you.
>>3621994Yeah, Kato should really spend time with her loved ones or doing what she loves instead of playing mod when no one asked or expected her to.
The last word.
I don't read this quest but goddamn that guy is an autist. God bless the OP for putting up with that. Maybe one day a real mod will take mercy on you all.
>>3623084second this. bless you for tolerating that asshat.
Hey uh, I don't read this quest either but in the locker room the other day I saw AngryAnon without his shirt on, and he had an eight-pack. Dude was Shredded.
>>3623169Whoa, really? Get outta town!
>>3623104Maybe other participants should try mass reporting him?
Thank you.>>3612267>>3612281>>3612991I'm going to hold off on Zelda for a while, my apologies for that. Tomorrow I've decided we'll stay with Peppa, as while I had a solid idea for Izzy's next turn in the first few drafts of it I just didn't really like any of it when I wrote it out. I'd rather not run a half-assed session for her. Also, just a heads up, next session probably will be only going until next Thursday at the latest, wife and I have our anniversary coming up.>>3615172I don't really make much effort to "time" things like that for the Quest proper. Sometimes it'll line up well enough that I can run something that coincides with a certain event or holiday, sometimes I'll have enough spare time to put up something like the Christmas special, but I don't really go out of my way to time things like that. Player choice also plays a role in it, it was the majority decision to go on that date with Cocoa. Thanks again for playing, everyone. Hope to see y'all tomorrow.
>>3627449It's fine if we just do weekend runs, you don't have to do super long ones.
>>3627449Run when you feel up for it Kato.
