In the far future, biotechnology advances by leaps and bounds, creating stunning achievements in medical, civil, and military applications. Illness becomes a thing of the past, and genetic modification is as commonplace as cosmetic surgery. However, like all great advances, unchecked progress and experimentation has led to abuse and corruption. Ultra powerful megacorporations that monopolized the latest biotech have risen to be the great powers of the age, waging secret wars of sabotage, espionage, and deceit to get ahead of each other. In order to fuel their rampant growth, megacorps develop lethal diseases and viruses, horrific bio-organic abominations, and ever more exotic genetic modifications to both sell to the highest bidder and unleash upon each other. The rampant proliferation of bioweapons, and the need to contain them, has given rise to a new profession, the BIOWEAPON HUNTER.---Now with a new OP!Twitter: https://twitter.com/MercCommandArchive: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?tags=Bioweapon%20Hunter%20QuestOther Quests: https://pastebin.com/eTUmEmRb---You are Cyberdyne System Series T-900 Model 101. You were sitting in a specialized chair, with three figures facing you. A man in a suit, and two scientists in their signature white lab coats. You try to move, but your body won't respond, limited only to your optical sensors shifting from side to side. It looks like your motor functions were locked out for the time being. "It doesn't even look different from the others." The man in the suit grimaces. "You're not trying to scam us here, are you, Dyson?""With all due respect, sir, all of Model 101's improvements are software based." The dark skinned scientist responds. "It's still 98% parts compatible with the other T-900s. In fact, we've actually kept the costs down that way.""I'm still not convinced this software upgrade was worth it." "Well, you asked for a more 'aggressively minded' model, and I provided exactly what you asked." The second scientist, a dark haired woman, says with an almost bored expression. "Her improvements aren't something that would readily be evident on cursory inspection." Dyson adds, backing up his fellow scientist."All right, then how about a little demonstration, then?" The Suit nods to another robot in the lab. It looked like a large, steel skeleton. "Let's see what she can do against an older series."Dyson gives a silent glance to Egan, who just gives a noncommittal shrug. With the decision ball thrown back to him, Dyson begins to sweat a little. "I suppose a brief demonstration is in order." Dyson coughs. "Egan, please unlock 101's motor functions.""Done." "Really?" Dyson blinks."You wanted greater aggression and independent decision making, right?" Egan responds smoothly. "This is the best way to test it.""This isn't going to backfire on us, will it? The Suit asks, equally nervous. "Her IFF is still based on your own proprietary software. So lack of confidence is that is lack of confidence in your own systems." And with a loud cackle, you rip the damn thing's power core out, wires snapping and hydraulic fluid spraying in all directions. The T-800's eyes goes dark and its body goes limp. The hills had a large height advantage, but had very little cover. Meanwhile, the center of the basin had a large forest as well as a rather sizeable town. You then kneel down, straddling her chest to keep her from getting back up and send your remaining fist pounding down into her face. You keep punching again, and again, and again until her head is smashed flat like a pancake. With the immediate threat over, you finally assess the situation. Your combat efficiency was literally shot to hell. Without an arm, you wouldn't be able to properly fire your rifle, putting you a serious disadvantage against your sisters-But then something clicks. You remember it being mentioned earlier that you were 98% parts compatible with your sisters. You glance down at the corpse underneath your feet and an idea surges through your processor. It made so much damn sense now!Who cares if you got damaged killing one of your sisters? Each one was a ready source of parts. You reach down and with one motion, tear your deceased sister's left arm out of its socket and pop it into your own. Your HUD fizzles momentarily as it tries to identify the new arm and then readily accepts it when it detects the identical firmware signature. Pfft, you probably would have just overridden it anyways. However, as you look at your new left arm, you frown. Even though everything about it was correct and compatible, something about it just didn't seem right. And then it clicked. You pinch the synthetic skin with your right hand and start peeling it off, leaving only the exposed steel skeleton underneath. Much better! Now to find the rest of your sisters~...---"101, stand down!" Dyson barks as you tear the guts out of your last living sister. "Yes sir!" You chime as you stand to attention, your sister's guts still clutched in your hands. "Goddamn, this was the one you worked on, Egan?" The Suit whistles as he steps out from a nearby helicopter."Correct. This is Model 101." Egan confirms as she follows the Suit out of the helicopter. "As you can see, she has shown a significant performance boost over the previous models.""Now, that part where she took the arm off 36 and put it on herself. Was that something you programmed her to do?" The Suit asks."No. That was 100% emergent behavior." Egan replies, stealing a glance at you. "As I told you, my neural net based OS allows T-Dolls to learn from their experiences and act independently, within reason, of course.""Well shit, you've sold it for me!" The Suit smiles. However, nothing happens. At least on your end. You glance at Egan again, who simply puts a finger to her lips to tell you to stay silent. "I do have a training ground that can distract the T-Dolls in the meantime.""Does it use live ammo?" SOPMOD asks."It is an option." Egan confirms. "Sweet!" "They should be, ah! There they are."And then you see Mom stride in, a data drive securely in her hand while Carol merrily skips behind her, obviously in a good mood. Looks like she was able to let some steam off or something. "Well, we got the thing." Mom sighs as she hands the drive to Auntie Egan."I hope things went well?" Auntie Egan asks a bit warily."About as well as they could have." Mom responds weakly."Ah, I get it." Auntie Egan sighs. "I hope Nemo is all right?""She's totally fine!" Mom nods. Looks like Spencer's been keeping close tabs on his subordinates.""Well, there's a lot of data in here, so I'm going to try and narrow down anything pertaining to Lewis." Egan says as she continues typing away at her keyboard. And quickly enough, data starts to disappear as its weeded out, leaving only the most relevant results for you to see. Egan's attention, however, immediately homes in on one particular result."Project Nemesis." Auntie Egan's eyes narrow. "Now there's a name I haven't heard in a while.""Wait a minute, isn't that Carol's-" Mom blinks."Yes, Carol's original project name." Egan confirms. Auntie Egan cautions. "Just blowing the whole thing down may not necessarily solve the issue. After all, the objective here is to clear Lewis' name, not destroy Umbrella property. Perhaps there's a way to be diplomatic about this.""Dipomatic?!" Mom blinks. "You really think that Wesker shit is gonna talk to us?""We don't have to talk to Wesker." Nemo points out. Any other person would have been knocked flat on their back. Inside, you could see HK, ST-AR, and SOPMOD in what looked to be in a swift and brutal three way firefight, bullets, grenades, and in SOPMOD's case, curses, being thrown in all directions. "Letting off some steam, huh?" You say as you step up right next to Lucina, who was observing the entire simulated skirmish. "Well, they all agreed if they were going to be fighting together in the near future, they would need to fight each other to get a good read on their capabilities." Lucina nods. "So.... here we are."Looking down in the training area, you could see that, as expected, SOPMOD was taking the initiative as the aggressor, attempting to flush HK and ST-AR out with rather liberal use of grenades and explosives. ST-AR, meanwhile, was trying to stay hidden, no doubt waiting for the perfect moment to strike. HK, though, was engaged in a sort of hit and run campaign against SOPMOD, engaging her in short skirmishes before withdrawing."They're certainly getting into it." You nod. So if Carol's current life expectancy is pretty much indefinite, what about everyone else?Without biomods, I could see Alice living up past 100 and maybe hit the big 120 due to her past. Lewis on the other hand could have him potentially go well past that from his Invader parts, excluding additional mods.Other than that, anyone with Invader or Magical parts would age quite gracefully if Alice is any indication. Normal people would definitely need mods to match age and appearance.
