Last Thread Here: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive/3176158/Welcome back to AAQAs of last post last thread, we were waiting for the four remaining idiot bandits to give up finding the corpses of their comrades so they would take us to their leader.
>>3217641hello what this be?
>>3217641My nigga returns!>WaitUnless we can just skip that since they've proven themselves unable to find two bloodied corpses in a small room?
>>3217653This be a mediocre quest, read the previous thread for more info
>>3217641>>3217713They finally decide that The other 2 just deserted out a window and call over to the boss, while 2 of them leave to guard the villagers"HEY BOSS""Whatever do you need me for?"The boss seems a handsome, tall, eloquent man. >>3217895You feel as if the buzzing sensation is...calling to be spoken to.Do you speak through it, or aloud?

>>3227376And with that I retire to the sleeping rectangle. Night/morning, QM.
>>3227376What was it you wanted to do with that roll?
>>3227390May your sleeping rectangle be comfortableWelp, no one else is around, and with that I will leave. A good day to all!
>>3227394Sorry I'm late! ROLL CALL
>>3230816Sorry bruh, none for me tonight.
>>3230820Ah, ok good day to all!
>>3234007Here for an hour
>>3234015What are you going to attempt to do, you have had your chest plate removed from Hans, and you still have minor control his over arms and legs. Also, your attempts to mentally or vocally yell him into submission are only frightening him more.Furthermore, you also have the Paladins coming if you forgot, and what with the extra not being inanimate you've been doing is gonna cause them to flip their shit whenever they find out what's been happening and where you are.
>>3234033First course of action is to use my roll from the previous session to rebuild ourselves/threaten Hans and his bitch into rebuilding us/KOing them both and controlling Hans like a puppet to do it/whatever works.
>>3234051You can't put yourself back together seeing as Hans is still wearing some of you, Hans getting threatened is just making him yell at Squire to"GET IT OFF MEEEE" louder at this point, and a Hans puppet would work the other way around, and lower your combat effectiveness somewhat due to having someone actively trying to stop you from fighting.
>>3234077Fuck. Can we use that roll to snap Hans' neck with our arms (we still have those, right?) and crawl over there using his body as support? Just asking rn, not committing to it yet.
>>3234104You SHOULD be able to snap his neck, but you would not be able to stand or properly move at all, just imagine if someone had control of your arms and legs, but not the joints they connect to your torso on. That's what you are dealing with, as well as Squire being there to keep Hans from dying while trying to rip you off of him.
>>3234114Damn. How's the squire looking? Can we grab one hand on Hans' neck and one hand of the squire's and order him to put us back on? We could say something along the lines of it would be easier for them to rebuild us, but we could still do it without them and snapping their necks wouldn't make fixing ourselves impossible? We should be able to do a slow crawl with our fingers to our body should things go south, right?
>>3234135The squire is 13-ish, and well muscled for one of their age, Hans is large and fit. You could try, but then the bandits will kill you if you do so to Hans, and you can't be put together without help by this point, it's too far along in the process to put yourself back together with a dead body INSIDE you. If you were merely disassembled, however...
>>3234156Are you implying what I think you're implying? Because if you are,>Let them take us off
>>3234156Okay, you let them take you off of Hans, now what do you want to do, you have about a minute before Hans actually gives the order to smash you into tinfoil, as he is still recovering.
>>3234172Quick, shuffle back together! If it's in terms of priority, then make sure our arms bond to our torso before anything else. We can fight them off as a legless, headless, yet not armless torso, at least.G'night, QM.
>>3234177Want to roll for them not noticing? (you get a surprise round) If you do not, roll for speed.
>>3234177And a good Night to you
>>3234202Hey, not running today due to having to replace a broken fan
>>3236230Running! ROLL CALL
>>3238265No one seems to be around, and so I will leave
>>3238436Yello? Anyone here? I'm Running now!
>>3240876I am sick and thus retiring early. Maybe tomorrow?
>>3241045ah, ok, do you have any questions I could answer to clear up misonceptions?
>>3241097No? Ok, leaving. Good day to all.
>>3241222Anyone here? ROLL CALL!
>>3243787You got any questions before we start?
>>3243815Not really. Should I?
>>3243820Nah, a question for you though, what do you like and or dislike about the quest, because I'm pretty sure it's bad, and you seem to love it.
>>3243842Well, I just like the concept and I feel pretty attached to this quest now. It's fun to play. IIRC you also said this was your first quest, and a good way to improve is to gain experience. So, here I am.As for criticism, one thing I think you could do to improve is increase the length of your posts by a fair amount. Perhaps go into further detail about what is happening? Another thing would be the pacing of the story, which kind of ties in with my first point. I understand that the turn-based combat system is quite difficult to work around on a site like this, so perhaps it would be better to use a different system that can get any battles we enter done quicker? The fight with Maceman and Axeman did start to drag on after a while, as would the searching bandits. Also, how much of this quest have you planned out so far?
>>3243912Ah, totally feel you, I will try to make the posts longer, I just want player input. As for the 2nd matter... Paladins, and that's about it.
>>3243912 Gimme that 2 1d100, also tell me if you want stealth or speed, it affects the DC
Rolled 87, 63 = 150 (2d100)>>3243961Speed
>>3243980>>3243961You get your arms on, and do one more thing before they attempt to smash you, they still are a bit away and you are entirely weaponless, although they are mostly unable to hurt you.
>>3244017Attach a leg if we can use our one more thing for that
>>3244103>>3244017You can attach 2 if you roll well enough! So give me a roll if you will!
Rolled 62, 8 = 70 (2d100)>>3244120
>>3244120you can hop and they are upon you>Bandit 3 40 combat 65 axe>Bandit 4 40 combat 65 mace>Bandit 5 40 combat 65 spear>Bandit 6 40 combat 65 spear>“Squire”50 combat 65 sword n' board>Hans 60 combat 70 greatsword Do you try and hop away? or fight with your fists?2d6 if you land a hit, you have 2 hands after all.
>>3244151It goes name, HP, Activity, AC, weapon.
>>3244151Run the hell away, get down on all three and do a weird dog run if we have to. We need to lose them until we can reclaim our other major bits.
>>3244151if you fight, 2 1d100- 5 for no leg, 1d100 if you wish to run.
>>3244176>>3244179Make that 2 1d100, for the write-in if you wish to run
Rolled 91, 81 = 172 (2d100)>>3244186do the weird dog run!
Also, I'm sort of losing consciousness over here, QM. This is my last post tonight, see ya later
>>3244244Good night, Since no other Anon dare play this garbage pile, I will leave.
>>3247177sorry for the wait, forgot to turn on auto update
>>3247303S'all good my man
>>3244176>>3244186>>3244240You run. You run like the wind. It's a really weird, fucked up dog run, but you still run surprisingly fast, only a spearman keeping up, and he can't hurt you in the slightest, and although he tries, can't knock you over. What do you do, you are missing your leg and helmet.
>>3247336Are they all following? If so, keep them following us and then circle back around to the other pieces and rebuild ourselves.
Rolled 60, 96 = 156 (2d100)>>3247336And if you need it, here's a roll
>>3247368>>3247350>>3247336You quickly formulate the brilliant plan of looping back around, and somehow keep up your dog run to avoid getting caught, until you grab>Helmet (can see in full view)>Leg (can run properly)
>>3247375>LegBetter fighting/moving capabilities should it come to that, head doesn't do as much for us.
>>3247387>>3247375 Would you like to stop and fight, or keep running and pick up the helmet? It affects the DC for getting the armor on.
>>3247390Pick up the helmet and run if possible, I just assumed we could only get one.
>>3247397>>3247390*Facepalm*I meant leg, if you run it makes the DC higher for putting on the leg, but you can circle back for a chance to grab the helmet. If you stop, you can still get the helmet and have a lower leg attachment DC, but you are in combat.
Rolled 92, 9 = 101 (2d100)>>3247402Let's stick around and grab all our bits. We may be getting into a fight with a shitload of dudes, but the likelihood is that they won't be able to engage all at once since that many people trying to attack the same guy would just get in each other's way.
>>3247424Give me another roll, that's high enough thatI'll let you get a chance to grab the helmet aswell.
Rolled 88, 87 = 175 (2d100)>>3247441
>>3247444Okay Put up yer Dukes>Bandit3 40 guard 65 axe>Bandit4 40 guard 65 mace>Bandit5 40 guard 65 spear>Bandit6 40 guard 65 spear>“Squire” 50 helping65 sword n’ board>Hans 60 coordinating 70 greatsword>2 1d100 for hit>2d6 for damage
Rolled 15, 26 = 41 (2d100)>>3247458Let's see about acquiring the mace bandit's weapon. Get him first.
>>3247479roll to disarm or just hit?
>>3247492Uh, disarm I suppose. Not like I'm going to get it this round with those crappy rolls, but ah well.
>>3247499>>3247479>>3247458The axeman runs into you, failing to stop when you do, the Maceman does the same thing but practically hands you his mace, allowing you to take it and backhand him for 2 damage.Hans takes a swing and misses, but his squire tries and succeeds to grapple, the spearmen assisting.>Bandit3 40 guard 65 axe>Bandit4 38 guard 65 none>Bandit5 40 guard 65 spear>Bandit6 40 guard 65 spear>“Squire” 50 helping65 sword n’ board>Hans 60 coordinating 70 greatsword>2 1d100 for hit>1d6 for fist damage>1d10 for mace
Rolled 92, 90 = 182 (2d100)>>3247520Hans, if we break the leader the rest will run! Thanks for running QM, I'm going to bed.
Rolled 6 (1d10)>>3247585Hit him with the mace!
Just remembered the squire and a few others are grappling, I guess we need to shake them off first or nah?
>>3247587d6 as well>>3247594nah, not unless he rolls higher
>>3247594>>3247602welp, Anon seems to have left, and so shall I
>>3247668I'll archive this and start a new thread the day after tomorrow.
