Last time you had an ‘amicable’ debate with Richard and ‘rationally’ discussed your differences in a ‘pleasant’ manner. You’re working together from now on regardless of how much of an overconfident twat you think he is. Now your team is discussing your future within it, so you’re probably going to check on that. “Does he really get that pissy all the time? No fun allowed!” Yu Yan comments as she stands up.“Yu Yan, could you take me back to the other room please? They should be done by now.”“Sure.” She grabs the handles of your wheelchair and off you go. The heated discussion stops the moment you enter. Osgood in particular was on his feet, face still red from yelling. “Where’s Richard?” Nina asks almost immediately.“Bathroom.” Yu Yan doesn’t miss a beat. You take a moment to breathe before the arguing starts again.“So… Did you guys decide?” You’re probably done for anyway… “We still need Richard’s vote, but I don’t think it’s going to make much difference.”“How’d the voting go so far?” Yu Yan pulls you up to the window next to Henry, then leans on a wall nearby. Nina explains that they hit a big roadblock thanks to a majority abstaining to vote. Seems the only one with his mind made up is Osgood, who wants you out. “Okay, why?” You look at the group, concerned. Everyone else looks at each other, waiting for someone else to be the one to answer.A valiant Matilda is the first one! Seems they silently decided to give you their own explanations one by one. Matilda folds her arms. “You were the one who hired me, in addition to being an adequate business partner. I won’t go against you. In the same vein, I’m merely a contractor. Any vote of mine would be unfairly biased.” A cut and dry answer as anything else Matilda says.Nina rubs her arm. “I don’t think I’m in a position to vote either. After all that happened, I don’t think I deserve it. I don’t want to be responsible for causing more harm.” The guilty way she looks makes your chest ache again…Henry turns to you. “Boss, I’ll be honest. I think you have some serious screws loose. Then again, everybody here does, so basically I don’t know what to do…” He shrugs then turns back to watching the street. Your sister yawns loudly, mouth open wide like a bear. “I don’t care. I don’t think this group has any future with or without you. Voting is useless.”
>>3022517“I agree to an extent, but I think it can be fixed with enough effort. And having Dear Ando on the team will prove fruitful, ignoring past mistakes.” Nariko flashes you a smug grin, almost triumphant. Finally someone wants you in!“Constance needs all the help she can get. I voted for you to stay. Guess I represent this little girl’s voice too.” Lise stars patting Constance’s head, sending her into a giggling fit. Trent shrugs in an annoyed way. “I voted to kick your ass out. They ain’t counting it ‘cause they think I’m jokin’. Why the fuck d’you make me vote if you ain’t gonna count it?” What an asshole. “The hell am I doin’ here anyway…?”Osgood taps the ground impatiently. His whole posture appears strained. “My turn. Isn’t it obvious why? You never think of the consequences and you endanger us each time. My biggest mistake was waiting for it to blow up in our faces instead of saying something. Not anymore.” “Well, uh…” Richard appears out of nowhere! Heck, he may have arrived earlier! From seeing Nina, Henry and Osgood twitching in place, they must’ve also been surprised. “I have no idea what sort of history is going on with you guys. In my opinion, having flame users in the group is a priority. Removing Johnny is a loss no matter the angle you take. I vote for him to stay.” His smugness is back! Just how good are the clinic’s bathrooms?! Wait, this means you’re still in! Nice! If the atmosphere wasn’t as tense and if your body wasn’t as pained, you would feel some kind of joy right about now. “This isn’t as clear cut as I thought it was going to be.” You admit to your allies. “There must be a better solution. If you want me to st–” You get rudely interrupted by certain Comeback Prince… “Woah woah woah, hold the fuck up! The reality is I don’t think I’m going to be able to work with this group anymore.” Osgood throws it out there plain and simple, drawing looks from the whole room. “We were supposed to care for each other, our only goal was to survive, we never knew how bad we had it ‘till now – but you didn’t need to be a genius to know how bad it could get. You two still left my friend to die. Maybe not on purpose, which almost makes it possible to forgive you… But what she did...” Osgood turns to Amelia and points at her. His voice is pure unrestrained venom. “That’s truly unforgivable.” “Stop wasting our time, we already had this conversation like four times now.” Amelia doesn’t give a fuck anymore. Your sister is empty thanks to you.“That’s why I’m leaving. I know you two come in one pack, so it’s better if you stay together and help out.” Osgood sounds defeated.
>>3022519Well, that’s disappointing! What now? >“You still have to fulfill that contract with Constance, remember? How’s that gonna work?”>“What was Bradford’s connection to his murderer? I know you’re hiding something, Osgood!”>“What happens if I want you to lead us from now on, in exchange for me leaving? Would you accept?”>“Amelia, apologize to him. We need to rebuild the trust between us after what happened.”>Write In.

This rule doesn't apply to the last reply of the day.Votes that require a dice roll are counted until 10 minutes have passed, so we can speed the process. Rolls are counted until 10 minutes have passed.Dice Mechanic (Up for Balance)We always roll 1d100s!I use the average (the mean) of the 4 best rolls plus a modifier depending on Johnny’s stats (Knowledge, Courage, etc.) for the quest. The degree of Success will be determined by the difficulty I specify for the action or prompt compared to the result. The stat based modifier is based in the level of Johnny’s stats (+10 per level not counting the first one). If there are less than 4 rolls I’ll do the math with the ones I have. For example:>Johnny punches Howie! [Hard Roll][Athletic Based]Equation:(Roll 1 + Roll 2 + Roll 3 + Roll 4 + [Stat Based Modifier]) / (Number of Dices Rolled (Max. 4)) = Result!Rolling over a 95 is a critical strike and ignores the other rolls! In the same vein, rolling 5 or under means a critical failure (Only for hard rolls on)…The difficulty of the roll is tied with the effectiveness of the action, in other words, the harder the option the better the result for the fight!Don’t forget at the end of the day this is a Story-driven quest! So what the prompts are describing is more important than difficulty of the rolls are for the results in a fight. We will roll after the voting is done!

>>3022525>>“What was Bradford’s connection to his murderer? I know you’re hiding something, Osgood!”Fuck Osgood, it's all his and Bradford's own fault. for forcing him into the group and for being a fucking spy of all things.
“You still have to keep that contract with Constance, remember? How’s that gonna work?” This reminder is enough to throw him off, going from extremely heated to mildly annoyed.“Uh, I didn’t think about that. I wonder how…” Everyone directs their attention from Osgood to Constance. The mummy looks awfully flustered at all the sudden stares going her way. After a second of silence, she begins answering your questions. “Uhm… Athelone is grounded so I don’t think anything is going to happen to you, Mr. Osgood.”“See? Nothing to worry about.” Osgood completely forgot about that didn’t he?“She’s not exerting her contract now, but later when she returns she might not be so idle.” Matilda shares a look with Lise. What’s that about…?“You can’t leave that easily.” You try to shrug at Osgood, but the unbearable pain says otherwise. “What? Now I’m your hostage or something? Think you can drag me anywhere and do what you please?”“That’s not the point, man. This group needs you more than it does me.”“When I needed you, you guys failed. There is no other way I can work this around. Sorry it had to be this way guys.” Osgood wipes his forehead. Putting your soul on the line is plenty stressful, but on top of whatever Osgood’s already going through…?Enough wondering about Osgood’s issues! There’s something not adding up here!“I do have a question about what happened, and I have the strangest feeling you know about this. What was Bradford’s connection to his murderer?”“What are you talking about?” Osgood suddenly looks uncomfortable, and not because his friend died a few days ago…“I remember that bastard calling Bradford a ‘traitor’ before what happened.” Lise backs you up and immediately has an (unseen) minor flashback of the incident. Meanwhile, Richard tries to avoid staring for too long.“I know you’re hiding something, Osgood!” You push him for an answer. Bradford’s backstory was completely unknown to everybody except Osgood and he knows it! He’s been holding out on you! “…He was listed in the Hosts of Rebellion archives. We also never got any explanation why Bradford has so many pictures of him with entities published over the web for people to see.” Matilda adds herself into the equation. “Every time I asked him, he evaded the questions. Either Johnny is correct and you’re hiding something, or you two weren’t as close friends as you pretend to be.”“Bradford was my best friend and I refuse to hear you speak like this about him.” Osgood glares at Matilda.
>>3022846“Then why did you put him in danger? Nothing really would have happened if you didn’t insist on adding him to the team. Something I was clearly against the whole time.” Empty Amelia gets in too! “If you want anyone to blame for this, you should blame yourself.” Amelia is not playing anymore; she’s just speaking her mind callously. “N-no! Don’t give me that shit!” Osgood is getting angrier, gritting his teeth. The look in his eyes is desperate. “He had a useful special ability no one tried to make use of! B-besides, we have three people here with no entities whatsoever and you’re fine with that! What gives?!”“Nina had an entity. Matilda is more useful than whatever Bradford could ever hope to be in his life. I have no idea why this meathead is here.” Amelia turns her head, looking at Trent with an empty expression. “I thought you had enough of us after you beat my idiot brother up the first time.” Though her voice is monotone and she isn’t looking at you, the shade your sister throws scalds you to the bone. That was the first promise you broke to her, after all…“Ha! Just enjoying the show! I’m not stickin’ around for long!” Trent laughs that arrogant laugh. In a moment so quick you feel you imagined it, you think you saw Amelia smirking at Trent…“It’s not the time or place for this.” Nina wants focus but no one responds to her. The spotlight is on Osgood.“Bradford was useful! You guys just never gave him a chance!” Osgood suddenly gets so sad his voice cracks.“You’re dodging the question, Gaumont. What was Bradford’s connection to his murderer?” Richard wants the truth. Seems he’s convinced. “Does it have anything to do with what happened at the stadium?”Osgood’s breathing gets a bit shaky. His gaze keeps moving from person to person. “Fuck off. I’m leaving.” He’s obviously hiding something! What do you do?! >Order Nariko to restrain him!>Tell Constance to activate her contract!>“Tell us what you’re hiding. Please.”>“Last chance Osgood; tell us what’s going on or else…”>Write In.
>>3022851>“Tell us what you’re hiding. Please.”
“Tell us what you’re hiding. Please.” Osgood has been a great pal to you so far, you don’t want him to feel like you didn’t care. It was an honest mistake, but now you need to know the truth.Osgood turns around. The anger in his face quickly turns to anguish. His gaze passes through everyone and ends on you. “Fine… He was going to tell everyone anyway next meeting – you know, the one where you two were going to tell us your past?”Henry’s eyes open at this. “Yeah, I almost forgot about that!” He forgot?! He was the one who got mad at you and your sister for keeping quiet about it! The hell?! He closes his eyes and clutches his head in stress, taking a shuddering breath. “I’m sorry if some of the details are lost on me but…” Osgood beings his speech, the whole room on edge… Bradford starting getting involved in this whole mess way earlier than you guys thought. He was first approached by an entity over more or less the same timeframe when you got your first visit from whatever the first entity that contacted you was. He rejected the power offer from the demon that came for aid, the same thing you did. Bradford didn’t want to give up part of his own humanity just for superpowers. That’s when he was able to start using his ability, and more importantly, able to partially see entities. At first he had a run-in with two entity users, but ran away and nothing came of it. He kept a low profile for a while after, until one day on a news site he caught a glimpse of a strange link in the comments. Something about ‘showing the truth.’ That’s when he was able to find out about the real mess the world was getting into; the rules were displayed for anyone to see. And not only that, he was able to decipher the secret code of the page: An address. It was for an old IRC, like people used to use 30 years ago – one of those that’s been dead for so long no one remembers it. That’s where he and other anonymous users met the man who would eventually murder Bradford: ‘Kazuchika Storgaard’. His objective was to put a stop to the madness, no matter the cost. The world depended on them! Their first IRL meeting was at the Monumental Stadium, days prior to the meeting you bailed out on. There, Kaz explained to him and two other guys (who Osgood oddly doesn’t remember a single detail about) about his intention to end the game. That’s where one of the guys proposed to eliminate all the Judges, the logic being that there can’t be a game if all the managers are dead. They all unanimously agreed to this extreme mission. Bradford included.
Kaz wanted to recruit other entity users to their cause, so he schemed a plan to gather as much of them as they could, using the stadium as a meeting site. The plan went south the moment info was delivered to the wrong people. That fateful day, cult members appeared and raided the place, capturing a large number of lost entity users who didn’t have teams or allies of their own. Their first major battle was one they escaped by the skin of their teeth. The original quartet survived and added a new kid to their group, which they used to infiltrate the cult for retaliation. As for Bradford, he was tasked with luring out other entity users and locating the Judges, if possible. That’s where he got the idea to take pictures with other members’ entities and uploading them to the internet as bait. Sadly, the only person who took the bait happened to be Osgood.Bradford never thought the blonde-haired prettyboy from Poker Nights would be involved in the conflict. The fatso tried to lure Osgood to their group and help stop the war game. Osgood instead convinced him to join forces with you. He obviously mentioned you had a Judge on your side during the sales pitch. Bradford hatched a plan of his own – to kill the Judge himself. Of course he informed the other members of his team, as the anxious man he is, and tried to do it all on his own.At the moment of truth, when he met Constance, he couldn’t do it.He couldn’t kill a little girl like that. He kept his identity secret to everybody with Osgood’s help and severed all ties with Kaz’s group. But even doing all that… “…I guess you can put two and two together now. He betrayed his own team to help us, and he died for nothing.” Osgood sat in an empty chair somewhere in the middle of his speech. He cradles his head in his hands, bowed forward.“He revealed Constance’s location. If anything he made it worse for us.” Matilda states bluntly as ever. “Right, sister?”Lise remains uncomfortably silent. Knowing how harsh she used to act towards Bradford, the irony must sting… Osgood stands up so fast the chair shoves over, making a clattering noise echo in the room. “Shut up, you brat! You don’t understand anything! You think keeping this shit from you guys was easy?! I know you’re easy to buy out with money, but we’re not like you! Nobody is!” Osgood screams back in Matilda’s unchanging face. “He was a good man! He didn’t deserve this!”“Doesn’t sound like a hero to me.” Amelia doesn’t care. “He was never a hero. Do you want me to list all the things he did wrong? ‘Cause I totally can, and you won’t stop me.”
>>3023293What do you say now? >“Uh, I want to hear that. Not that I want to shit on the dead or anything, but I’m curious.”>“Thank you for telling us the truth. It must have been hard to admit that after all this time.”>“What Matilda said was truth, but he did it to save Lise. That’s gotta count for something!”>“Osgood, please reconsider. Don’t make Bradford’s efforts go to waste. Don’t leave us.”>“Now what?”>Write In.

“Well I’m sorry he wasn’t ‘perfect’ like you wanted. Not like anyone here has done a perfect job!” Osgood’s voice drips with condescension.“He almost killed me.” Amelia’s calm demeanor saying something like that is quite unsettling. Wait, he almost WHAT?!“W-what…?” Osgood is confused too! He doesn’t know this either! What happened?“Not the time to air grievances now. Wait for later; we don’t want to say something we regret while we’re emotional.” Nina tries to calm those two, and only Osgood calms down.Your little sister is already dead inside. “Anyway, thank you for telling us the truth. It must have been hard to admit that after all this time.” You try to be nice to Osgood. The man needs a fucking break after that.“Yeah… I guess.” His voice sounds completely drained. Hopefully he still understands you’re on his side! Everyone’s side too! “How did the guy look like by the way? Did he happen to like art?” Is this the million-dollar question?!Osgood gives you a morose glare. “What are you babbling on about? Guy looks like he was fired yesterday from his cushy office desk job. I think I have a picture of him on my phone courtesy of my dead friend!” He yells the last part at Amelia’s direction. She remains unfazed.Osgood pulls out his phone and shows everyone the picture. “Looks like someone who got kicked out of a bar.” Henry mentions immediately.“Is his beard uneven?” Nina points out. It’s totally uneven! “How can he be so unprofessional?”“Looks like a bum.” Says Yu Yan, who has absolutely no right to say that! You’ve seen this guy before! He was right there with you, complaining about wanting to buy a terrifying painting that wasn’t on sale! “That’s the guy from the museum.” You say out loud. You didn’t see a flame on him, how is that possible…?“Indeed he is. We were having such a good time and he had to interfere. And in front of my dear mother’s painting too…” Nariko remembers it as well, though she sounds melancholy at remembering her mom’s work on display. “If my memory serves me right, that day… Bradford was in the museum as well. At Entrance A, I believe.” Nariko’s right!Hold the phone… “But that means they saw each other before this confrontation!” You now have even more reasons to suspect Bradford!“He never told me anything about meeting him at the museum!” Osgood is surprised. Genuine? “Perhaps they didn’t meet at all!” Nobody is buying it. Not even you.
>>3023597“Maybe you’re right, the guy just left after he talked to us…” Then again, you didn’t actually watch him leave the building, did you…?“We should inform this establishment’s staff about him. We can’t run the risk of him infiltrating here under our noses. It’s just public and private enough that he could feasibly take the risk.” Matilda is already on the case. That’s what you pay her for!“When I get my hands on him, I’ll kill him myself.” Osgood’s anger now has a valid target that is not your little sister. “I think we’ve missed the point for a while now. Now that my curiosity is satisfied, I only have to wonder: what are you planning to do next, Osgood Gaumont? The more flames the merrier, right?” Richard shifts everyone back on topic.“I don’t know... I don’t even know what I’m doing in general.” A defeated Osgood mumbles out. “I think the next topic the group needs to discuss is who is going to be the leader.” Nina reminds everyone. “Osgood, I’ll be glad to have you as part of this group too. Please stay here until the end of this meeting.”“Alright, alright…”“Sorry for being blunt and doing this quickly, but I need some names. Who wants to be leader?” Nina stands up. “If you want you c—”“I do.” Nariko smirks as the first one to enroll, interrupting Uccelli in the process.“You guys don’t know me enough, but I think I’m fit for the role.” Richard wants to be leader too.“I’ve had enough. I want a piece of the action too.” Osgood raises his hand in turn. “Oh my, didn’t you want to quit altogether just a moment ago? They say prudence is an underrated virtue, but it’s clearly one you have in excess.” Nariko looks curious, though you can sense the condescending smug underneath the surface and past her backhanded compliment.“I don’t trust any of you two to do decent work.” Osgood looks on with disgust. “At least not anything benefiting the group as a whole.” “I was going to say we could suggest someone else, but oh well…” Nina doesn’t like being interrupted. That’s part of being a teacher, isn’t it?“T-that’s fine.” Says Osgood the Impatient. Who do you want to vote for? >Nariko!>Richard!>Osgood!>Nominate someone else!>Abstain from voting!>Write In.(Last Reply of the day, we continue tomorrow!)
>>3023603>Abstain from voting!
>>3023603>Abstain from voting!Solo Johnny operations when?
>>3023603>Nominate someone else!NinaShe's organized this whole thing and has worked tirelessly to keep everything calm. Her only allegiance is to our group, she doesn't seem to hold a grudge against anyone, and seems to have the groups interests in mind.Even if she doesn't have power, her ability to keep everyone on task her is just what we need. The leader shouldn't be the most charismatic, or strangest. Just someone that can guide everyone to where they need to go.
>>3023627Hopefully more cautious too.
>>3023628so nominate Nina, then leave the group on our own?
>>3023646I don't see why we'd leave after making a big deal about staying.Just tell Nina we'd prefer not to endanger the group and work as a stort of solo field agent. All that being said, if you guys REALLY think anyone will let Johnny do anything important on his own, your crazy.Even if we left, we'd probably be followed by one of the girls to make sure we are fucking ourselves up somehow.
>>3023660Good. Johnny is a fucking moron>>3023603>Nina
>>3023603>NinaLet's go down that route
I'd rather have Johnny abstain from voting, it was his choice that got him in this mess, should he be allowed to make another decision that can blow up later on? Plus if Johnny says nothing, then it's guaranteed that the hobos won't be influenced by his choice.
>>3023780What want to make the situation better, not let it play out, and not be responsible for the ultimate failure of the group. If you think any of the others can really lead the group then that's one thing, but abstaining from voting just in case we make the wrong choice is not the right answer.
>>3023780Fucking up and then not even attempting to make things better and fix your mistakes is depressive, defeatist crap. and will only serve to cement him as an irresponsible moron in the eyes of the others.Better do something and get it shut down, it gives the others a sense of power and authority that isn't a tantrum
>>3023871Yeah because Johnny is amazing at fixing things
>>3023886You talk as if Johnny has never done anything but get his ass kicked and make bad choices.Even if we fucked up, and fucked up often, getting up and trying again is better than throwing your hands up and letting everything fall apart. If the group doesn't like our idea, then they are free to decline our suggestion, but to just sit there like a tick feeding off the blood, sweat, and tears of our team and contribute nothing in fear of our failure is shit. That's literally the WHOLE POINT of the quest, fighting off our own apathy and DOING YOUR BEST.
>>3023910Then we just eliminated any chance Nina had just because we voted for her. If they don't like Johnny's idea then they'll do the opposite. There are other ways to contribute to the group and don't forget that Matilda has pulled her weight a lot despite being flameless. If voting is the best thing we could do then we haven't been performing very well.
>>3023928>Then we just eliminated any chance Nina had just because we voted for her.So what your saying is our options are...A) Not vote, and have no one bring up Nina as a possibility.orB) Vote and have everyone turn us down anyway. On a baseline I feel like B is the better option regardless, but beyond that you seem to be implying that the group is vindictive enough to just shoot Johnny down without listening to his actual argument. No one is that mad at us. Maybe Amelia, but she's too dead inside to give two shits about how we can possibly fuck up the group more. >If voting is the best thing we could do then we haven't been performing very well.I never said voting is the best thing, but it's something, and a rather important thing considering this a voting on a position of leadership which will have major ramifications for the group going forward. Not participating for no reason sets a bad precedent.Again this quest is about fighting your apathy and DOING YOUR BEST, letting an event like this just pass us by is counterproductive.
>>3023965So jeopardizing Nina's chances of becoming a leader is better than giving her a chance to speak for herself? I wouldn't say vindictive but I'm sure that Richard, Amelia, Osgood, and not even Trent would trust Johnny's judgment. Just because the option is there doesn't mean we should take it like fighting Trent without a flame, letting Neko have a free shot, or handling Osgood's Scarlet problem early on. And Johnny isn't doing his best, he's doing what he THINKS is his best.
>>3023982People are about to vote RIGHT NOW. If you are suggesting she was actually planning on submitting herself as a candidate all along or that someone else was going to, you need to go back and reread.Of course Richard and Osgood would be against her as leader, THEY want to be leader. Amelia is too broken too give a shit, and even if Trent doesn't trust us, that doesn't me we can't make a convincing argument and change their, and everyone else's minds. And while we can agree Johnny isn't doing his best, what is your proposed solution? Just sitting back and not getting involved until shit is falling apart around us? We need to be proactive in our betterment. Speaking our mind and contributing to important conversations is the least we can do, so what does it say when we aren't even willing or capable of doing that much?
>>3024015I have been reading, if she doesn't think she can do it then she shouldn't. If she changes her mind then good.I'm saying not to vote as to let the crew decide amongst themselves as Johnny is already a divisive figure, they need someone they could all agree on.And if you were reading what I was typing, then you would know I said there were other ways to help the group, or do you think I meant "do nothing all quest and let things go" as other ways?We can be proactive, but making more arguments in an already failing group is counterproductive to being helpful.Voting not to choose is not the same as to do nothing.
>>3024042>if she doesn't think she can do it then she shouldn't. If she changes her mind then good.I believe she simply hasn't considered it, and would only need a push from others voting for her to take up the mantle. Again, if our suggestion is shot down that's fine, but the current candidates all have various conflicting interests that make them unfit to lead the group, so getting someone that isn't them is the best option. In the end it's the groups choice, but there is nothing wrong with pointing these things out.>I'm saying not to vote as to let the crew decide amongst themselves as Johnny is already a divisive figure, they need someone they could all agree on.Leadership is a divisive topic, but that's why we are voting. Johnny's honest input on the situation isn't going to cause some type of schism, not anymore than there already is anyway.>And if you were reading what I was typing, then you would know I said there were other ways to help the group, or do you think I meant "do nothing all quest and let things go" as other ways?I think what you meant is that despite being forgiven by most of the group and let back on the team, Johnny has yet to prove himself capable of rational decision making and should take a more passive role in the group as to not rock the already leaking boat and cause more problems.I think that's bullshit, and a very counterproductive mindset to have, at least when it comes to critical decisions like this.Once a leader is selected, i'd be fine with playing a more supportive role in the group, but this is a big choice the group has to make, and everyone's opinions should be accounted for, and all potential options talked about before moving forward.
>>3024108And again, would ruin her chances. And it could widen the schism by Osgood, Richard, and Nariko believing their role was stolen by Johnny voting.Because it's a critical decision, Johnny first needs to rebuild his reputation as a ration thinker like saving someone from killing themselves. That's just my opinion.I'm personally for equal accountability, but if a leader is chosen, then it should one that the crew decides on their own.
>>3023603>Vote for Matilda. She is more qualified for management than all of us, paid or not.
Abstaining from voting is an admission of guilt and acceptance for unrelated issues for the group, likewise voting for 3 people, 2 of which are unstable, emotional, and a unrepentant sadist with a superiority complex. And the third is megalomaniacal if given the chance. Picking the third party that has the entire group in perspective along with being the most mentally stable is the best choice to make. None of the flame users are fit to lead, be it inexperience, emotional vulnerability, or caustic personalities in positions of power.
>>3024138>>3024108>>3024042>>3024015>>3023982>>3023965>>3023928>>3023910>>3023886Obvious solution folks, right here>>3024139>>3024144Jonny may have moment to moment lasps in judgment, but longterm goals are still a proven adequate track record.
>>3024042The others are fine with Jonny, as they don't blame him for Bradfords death, Amalia is the only true wildcard in this situation. Osgood is a wreck, and Richard is Richard and would ignore us regardless. Everyone else however still values our opinion. You are thinking too lowly of the others and treating them a lower helpers.>>3024138It would not ruin her chances in the slightest. In what way would any of the group, again, sans Richard, would shoot down at least hearing out Nina. You are going above and beyond to take out everyones agency in this matter.
>>3023603Eh, changing my vote to Nina then.
>>3024138I disagree that it would ruin her chances. She hasn't put herself forward and unless the next leader /dies/ we aren't going to see a change in leadership, because if they suck at the role then the group will disband. This is the only chance.I vote for her because she is an adult and as a teacher she is used to authority and she can shoot down these kids just by saying "language!".I can't say if Matilda is a good leader but she makes a great advisor at least
>>3024169Honestly, so long as Matilda is around to help manage this, we'll be fine.
>>3024144Which abstaining is preferable, it's a failing group, I doubt anyone would follow Richard at all.>>3024158Where did I say this and I'm saying they have their own ideas on how the group should be run. It's not accepting guilt for Brad's death, if you were following, it's about being accountable for poor decisions that ultimately spiraled out of control. If the three already chosen themselves, then it would be pointless to change their minds as Richard is Richard, Osgood is too emotional to think rationally, and Nariko would either be too easy to sway with Johnny's influence or hurt that he chose someone else.
>>3024169Then maybe there shouldn't be a leader at all or dismantle the crew if it's difficult in the first place to maintain. And I doubt Nina can easily silence kids with just "language" or authority alone, someone actually died this time and she's going to need some strength that isn't a flame to back up her leadership.
>>3024172Nariko is also smart enough to know a better option, Osgood also trust Nina, and while he may chaff at that idea, he would still listen to her as was already demonstrated. Richard is a hanger-on for the team, and no one would vote for him anyway. You haven't said it because you've been implying it the entire time. Abstaining is not preferable in the slightest as that is shirking our duty to the group even more so. Accountability for a decision has already been handled, as it was a mistake made to gain an ally, trying to act like it is only a mistake we could make when the others can, and absolutely have in Osgood's case, make on their own. While we have been acting the entire time with less info then needed, we have still done very well for the circumstances at hand.
>>3024175She has been doing it this entire time, acting as the mom of the group to our dad. Disbanding as you are trying to push us to do is the single most stupidly irresponsible thing that has been said this entire quest, second only to the two idiots that attacked our neighbor in a fit of sleep deprived retardation. Our group has functioned well with us as face, with everyone adding their ideas, but removing that responsibility all together is a horrendous idea.
>>3024176Nariko would have suggested Nina then if she was a better option, if Osgood trusts Nina then he can listen to her, and imply what exactly. If we have been shirking our duty this entire time, do you think Johnny has any right to suggest a replacement?Accountability doesn't happen so easily when someone died and almost died from their own faults, it also matters how drastic the consequences were. And we could have done better.>>3024177Can a mother be a dad?I'm not pushing to disband, I'm pushing to abstain. A does not equal C if C equals B.Can you really say it functioned well when a lot of the mistakes could have easily been avoided like doing nothing in nearly attacking Ajna, attacking Nina, and avoiding fights? And it functioned well only because of everyone's ideas.
>>3024198We haven't been shirking our duties, we have been managing our team and rushing from one fire to the next. This one just happened to burn us.>Nariko would have suggested Nina then if she was a better option, if Osgood trusts Nina then he can listen to her, and imply what exactly.Nariko would vote for herself to lead without thinking, and Osgood would point out that Nina is more than capable of getting everyone into line.>Accountability doesn't happen so easily when someone died and almost died from their own faults, it also matters how drastic the consequences were. However the one who died was doing so of their own accord, and there is no accountability to be laid down onto us, doubly so as the situation he put himself in was Osgood's fault entirely, with no way for Jonny to know. And while we almost died, that was all that really occurred to us, on top of getting a new flame user, new as she may be. And we could only do better if we knew the future. And we cant do that, and no one else can either....far as I can think of anyway.>Can a mother be a dad?She doesn't need too, she just has to keep the group together and with Matilda providing assistance and Richard helping in hostile actions, with supervision, it will work out fine for the moment.>I'm not pushing to disband, I'm pushing to abstain. A does not equal C if C equals B.Except you did say that, right here>>3024175Abstaining accomplishes nothing as we are part of the group, and the current fuck up that got us injured not withstanding our judgment has seen the group well so far, and is a valuable piece of consideration for everyone else.>Can you really say it functioned well when a lot of the mistakes could have easily been avoided like doing nothing in nearly attacking Ajna, attacking Nina, and avoiding fights?Ajna was a mistake of two people with no one else around to stop that vote, that is a entirely out of character problem with the thread and has no business being compared to the issue at hand. As for attacking Nina that was a entirely justifiable reason with assuming the flame was doing something, and was proven correct for doing so, we know for a fact in character that Flames can lie and manipulate their holders and we had a previous engagement with the bug thing before hand. We had no way to avoid the other fights in a way that wouldn't have blown up into a worse problem latter, acting like being a passive observer is not doing our best, it is trying to shirk responsibility.>And it functioned well only because of everyone's ideas. With our ideas being the foundation for most of the solutions, and everyone else fleshing out any portion we may have left out or couldn't work around. You have been acting like one outside incident is the majority of Jonny's behavior while ignoring our accomplishments so far. Solo and with our group.
>>3024216>Not shirking duties>What's laptop?>What's checking on Lise's parents when they were alive>What is actually teaching old Nariko how do things not involving TV.>What is living plot stuff to Matilda?>What's going to Neko's tower before it was destroyed? Then Nariko probably should have thought more carefully and how come Osgood isn't voting for Nina, if the group has to make another mistake to so be it.What you're suggesting is a division of responsibility, which would be better suited without a leader and should be more of a band of friends.Johnny drew Amelia away from helping Brad and possible joining her as soon as he heard trouble had he not let Neko a free hit. After the fight is resolved then Brad can be held responsible and tell everyone the truth. Lise nearly got herself killed as well. There's no certainty, only preparedness and wise decisions.>>3024175If you needed clarification for this, I'm saying if a group that does nothing but fail and disband because of another mistake they can't handle, then would it not be in the best interest to dismantle if the crew itself can't agree one leader? Before another person dies? Abstaining does not do nothing, it avoids conflict as well as shows we know we messed up and know when not to involve ourselves. And who are you to say it was out of character, were you there to vote because I wasn't. The votes decide what kind of person Johnny is otherwise there wouldn't be a write-in prompt. And attacking Nina was a dumb mistake, we could have just waited or at the very not instantly attack her before knowing something was wrong. Tell me again if fighting Trent flameless was necessary cause it could have ended a lot quicker if we used our flame like we did with Matilda. If we were passive the entire time then it was because we thought it was the best thing to do.Amelia decided Johnny should go on a date with Nariko and Johnny decided to go to the art museum, it happens both ways and shows the crew wasn't static. One accident? There have been more than one, it's better to remember both accomplishments and failures. It wasn't solo and with our group, it was dividing the tasks to who was best suited for it.
>>3024216Plus do you think everyone suddenly stop helping each other to survive at least or leave Constance to die?
>>3024249>What's laptop?A source of info that was encrypted with no way to access.>What's checking on Lise's parents when they were aliveA long distance away while we are in the middle of, if I remember that time correctly, dealing with being unconscious at the hospital after fighting the white flames, and Osgood was fighting off our corporate acquaintance's guard dog.>What is actually teaching old Nariko how do things not involving TV.What is having more important shit being dropped in our lap non-stop. Then having Yu and Amalia teach her. She was learning just fine on her own when she wasn't asking us questions, we had to spend most of that early time going to school or dealing with terrorists.>What is living plot stuff to Matilda?I assume you mean leaving, and Matilda is the most professional investigator we know, then and now. Doing it ourselves would have been to difficult and time consuming for the shit we needed to deal with.>What's going to Neko's tower before it was destroyed? What?>Then Nariko probably should have thought more carefully and how come Osgood isn't voting for Nina, if the group has to make another mistake to so be it.Nariko thinks of everyone else as handy people around to help Jonny, with the hierarchy going, Jonny, Amalia, then Nina. If I have to spell out Osgood's reason then you must be braindead. And letting the group make a mistake out of spite to keep us from trying to help is fucking asinine.>Johnny drew Amelia away from helping Brad and possible joining her as soon as he heard trouble had he not let Neko a free hit. She only turned around because plot gave her a tingling sensation to do so, and it wouldn't matter anyways because if we weren't down we would be trying to evacuate Neko first on the assumption of cultists coming for her head, as they likely were if not for Bradford throwing an unknown in the situation. May have even been called out to set up a hit on us, but that's just speculation.>What you're suggesting is a division of responsibility, which would be better suited without a leader and should be more of a band of friends.Except that is what we have been doing this entire time, and removing the leader would end in bickering with nothing to accomplish, as that is how it went when we weren't constantly trying to keep everyone focused.>After the fight is resolved then Brad can be held responsible and tell everyone the truth. Lise nearly got herself killed as well. There's no certainty, only preparedness and wise decisions.Except Lise was involved only after the fact of our injury, and our best bet at the time would have been evacuating Neko and hoping Bradford and Wildflame could hold out till we got reinforcements. Except we likely would have jumped in before they got there anyways, and you would still be using this circular logic of if it went bad then that would be a completely avoidable failure on our part alone. It would end in Bradford's death, or ours and Neko and Amalia possibly
>>3023603Changing my vote in >>3023627 to>Nina
>>3024282Continuing on from the thought of Amalia, Neko, and us getting killed by the cultists as their chief enemies. >>3024251Except this logic is so assbackwardsly retarded that it is insane you are advocating it.>If you needed clarification for this, I'm saying if a group that does nothing but fail and disband because of another mistake they can't handle, then would it not be in the best interest to dismantle if the crew itself can't agree one leader? No you dumbass, then we would have even less cohesion then we do now, and the group has been acting without a leader while we were injured and couldn't keep anything together. Even if it isn't us, Nina being the decisive head with Matilda would still be preferable, as we would all be working together in the exact same way we do now, but it would end in even more Bradford's because everyone runs off. If we had Richard with us without him fucking everything up, we would have had an easier time convincing Neko.>The votes decide what kind of person Johnny is otherwise there wouldn't be a write-in prompt. And attacking Nina was a dumb mistake, we could have just waited or at the very not instantly attack her before knowing something was wrongYes I am saying that vote was a fuck up of two people and isn't a justifiable representation of Jonny. I and a few other people showed up too late, but fixed the problem the best we could, so you getting high and mighty when you cant do anything but call for a problem to worsen to the point of failure with nothing to show for it with the entire group is hypocritical.>Before another person dies? And letting everyone fuck off because being a team is hard is better you fuckwit? Whether or not we are leading the group doesn't change everyone could die, but keeping it together, regardless of how its holding together, is a better alternative to no group at all. Because we would all be working together regardless, and acting like we are all lone agents is how the old terrorist cell got their shit pushed in with the help of Yu Yan. And that is how you are right now.>Abstaining does not do nothing, it avoids conflict as well as shows we know we messed up and know when not to involve ourselves. It doesn't avoid conflict you fucking idiot, shows that we are going to let the conflict go further with no action to we wont learn anything from messing up, not involving ourselves in the group, when it is a group decision is pointless because we have been leader for so long that it would likely fall to us to decide anyways. Whether you like that responsibility or not, we have it do to keeping this shitshow running for months in spite of hiccups.Attacking Nina was not a mistake as it was still a extremely valid possibility that her flame was attempting something and doing it then instead of a active combat situation was the best possible thing that could be done, especially with no way to confirm she isn't being manipulated to begin with.Part three next
>>3024282Spell it out, Fuckwad. we're civil here, no need to being so temperamentalWe could have called someone to look after Neko or even chase after her after attempting to save Brad.Like you keep saying we can't be certain about the future, without preparedness, then how can you be so certain removing the leader would end in endless bickering. Is Johnny so pivotal to in voting that him not participating in it would cause the group to fall out, do you believe that the crew is incapable of making decisions without a central person?Lise wouldn't have been involved in the first place then and she would have been fine while we dealt with Brad. If the Neko situation went smoothly then Brad's death would have been a fault of his own. Johnny would have been given the chance to act on either securing Neko, calling Richard to go after Brad, anything that could tip it in favor of saving Brad. The combined forces of Richard, Johnny, Amelia, Wildflame, Nariko, and good rolls could have made things go smoother.
>>3024294>>3024249>>3024282>Tell me again if fighting Trent flameless was necessary cause it could have ended a lot quicker if we used our flame like we did with Matilda.Yes you fucking simpleton, it was entirely necessary, fighting him fairly was the only way to get someone like Trent on our side. Using our Flame against him would vilify us in his eyes and he would withhold information, which we then used to recruit Henry to the team. Without Trent's cooperation we would have been taken down at least once while we and everyone else on the team was incapacitated, simply do to his sheer combat prowess.>There have been more than one, it's better to remember both accomplishments and failures. It wasn't solo and with our group, it was dividing the tasks to who was best suited for it.And acting like its best to not vote for a leader just so everyone splits is even more irresponsible. We vote because we are smart enough to try and keep everything together>If we were passive the entire time then it was because we thought it was the best thing to do.And there was a time for action as well, such as now, those times were because we had little to go on, and had to focus on training or hunting for information on whatever problem was at hand.>Amelia decided Johnny should go on a date with Nariko and Johnny decided to go to the art museum, it happens both ways and shows the crew wasn't static. And this isn't even relevant to the conversation, Bradford and Osgood being on the big secret of him being a traitor is.>One accident? There have been more than one, it's better to remember both accomplishments and failures. Those accidents were outside forces that we, and our team were sometimes unable to deal with, that is what happens. But that doesn't change the fact we do things as are necessary, regardless of potential. That is why we were nominated as leader to begin with, to make those decisions when everyone else cant, which is why we are required to vote and make our opinion heard. >>3024297Osgood is obviously not thinking clearly as he is still reeling from Bradford's death, which he could have helped avoid if he told ANYONE so we could keep an eye on him.>We could have called someone to look after Neko or even chase after her after attempting to save Brad.Again, you would say that is a mistake if it didn't go our way, you are trying to argue out of convenience. We would have been keeping Neko with us because we knew Wildflame was there, going back later or even before that could have put Amalia in danger, Neko in danger, and you would still act like its our fault if every small detail didn't go our way.>then how can you be so certain removing the leader would end in endless bickering.Because we have seen them behave that way without anyone pointed out to call the shots, or at least force a set of plans to come together. They would stay in a group, but devolve in cohesion for anything complicated in the long run.
>>3024297> If the Neko situation went smoothly then Brad's death would have been a fault of his own. Johnny would have been given the chance to act on either securing Neko, calling Richard to go after Brad, anything that could tip it in favor of saving Brad. The combined forces of Richard, Johnny, Amelia, Wildflame, Nariko, and good rolls could have made things go smoother.Again, that is a argument for and from convenience. As that requires meta knowledge to begin with, and no way to guarantee we would know that, just like we never knew Bradford was a traitor the whole time.
>>3024294We could have settled things with a simple game, that how easy things could have been, the group was in disarray because nearly everyone was injured.Yes, it is a representation of Johnny because you keep saying "we", weren't the two anons "we"? How does doing nothing worsen things, we're voicing our opinion by letting them decide things and calling people high and mighty in a fit isn't doing you any favors.Yes, it's better to only have two people with chemistry than a group that bickers amongst themselves, it gets the job done. A flimsy house made of glue might hold but not for long. I'm not asking for solo work at all and where are you getting this, I'm just want to let them decide the leader then follow the leader. If the group can't handle an argument on their own then there's a major problem with it that needs changing, choosing someone new who's a part of the group isn't going to solve it. We need to keep it running efficiently or change it. Keep telling yourself attacking Nina was right when it lead to her losing her flame, Osgood being injured, and Henry as well.
>>3024316>How does doing nothing worsen things, we're voicing our opinion by letting them decide thingsBecause there is no guarantee they would still stay together as the ones calling attention to themselves are either going to piss people off, be an inexperienced and more importantly indecisive leader, or possibly go on power trips and make as many enemies as we did.>We could have settled things with a simple game, At what point are you referring to us possibly doing this? Because we had people set up to act as our second when we are unavailable, and moving down the line of responsible people. making it a game would be too random, and while it might not hurt people's feelings it may hurt group functionality.>Yes, it's better to only have two people with chemistry than a group that bickers amongst themselves, it gets the job done.Except that is what happened when Bradford, and Osgood by extension, acted on their own, we have enemies with the government, rich CEO's personal armies, and a hoard of cultists, acting on our own, even in smaller groups than what we already have, is extremely dangerous.>I'm not asking for solo work at all and where are you getting this, I'm just want to let them decide the leader then follow the leader. With everyone acting as leader, no one is the leader, they would assist each other, but with such differing personalities the chances of slip ups go even higher as they would act out on their own. And letting them decide their leader is fine and dandy, we aren't taking that from them, we are giving our vote. If you think they think so lowly of us, then its no problem.>If the group can't handle an argument on their own then there's a major problem with it that needs changing, The problem is that the reason the group could form at all is with people with mental disorders or personal hangups, that isn't the groups fault so much as the set up for the situation we are all in.>choosing someone new who's a part of the group isn't going to solve it.Matilda has been an active member of the group unofficially and officially for almost as long as we have been going, Richard, while he may have talent, is still a grating person to work with let alone under. There is no one new here, everyone knows the capabilities of the others, with the exception of Nariko, however that is simply because she only returned to her full mental faculties recently.>We need to keep it running efficiently or change it.And that is exactly what we are doing, because we are just as much a part of this machine as everyone else, and refusing to put in input can be just as unhelpful as voting for someone. We have more successes under our belt for tactical decisions than failures, and that is because of information we couldn't have or get access too.
>>3024310Are you forgetting that Trent came into the story randomly because Johnny indirectly caused Blake's death? The fight was to show up and beat him up, that was it was going to be. Henry wasn't even in the story in the first place, and we easily beat/recruited without any trouble or assistance from Trent. We left the hunting and training to Matilda. We had moments to act like saving Constance back then, which was good.Voting can cause people to divide just as easily as anything else, or are you forgetting how parties work?I'm saying the crew can do actions that prove beneficial later on like discovering Brad was talking to that guy more often than he said he was. Without that one piece of information, we wouldn't know Brad had more to hide or where to look for the killer. How much can you say we weren't prepared for because what it seems to me, we had the option to act as soon as possible, we could have even skipped school. Is diverting the plot to hang with friends and talk to Scarlet necessary? Just because we can make the decisions no one can, doesn't mean we should. Keep blaming every other crew member, doesn't change the fact Johnny's choices are what got everyone messed up. Except it could have gone our way if we had a better vote, we would have been conscious still to have at least heard screaming. Johnny would have also attempted to protect Amelia and Neko, if Amelia would have chosen to have saved Brad then who knows what would have happened to Johnny or Amelia. I'm not saying everything is Johnny's fault, stop it.Then the group can vote on what to do if things get complicated like a crew is suppose to do.>>3024313Does it require meta knowledge to know not to let the mentally damage girl to get a free shot, to be cautious now that it was just johnny and the girl, or not to do anything that would put him out of commission?
>>3024334Then what makes Johnny better at voting then, he's all that but the powertrip. No, we literally could have settled things with just playing a card game with neko, as she was an avid fan of SoL from what the poster in her rooms tells about herThey had no chemistry whatsoever and the only time we saw them together was in poker night and brad's first introduction. If no leader is chosen then we can just act on what we think is best, because if they couldn't decide on a leader with us then it's best to act on a whim. I did not say the crew was lowly, I'm saying that it's better to sit this one and let the crew decide as they seemed better suited to make a choice.A group that can't handle their own individual problems is doomed to fail. Not a new member, a new leader. No, nothing is efficient if no one can't avoid a fight without being hospitalized, it's a failing a machine and our input would just be nothing. If putting nothing it is unhelpful then there's a problem.
>>3024336> I'm not saying everything is Johnny's fault, stop it>doesn't change the fact Johnny's choices are what got everyone messed upWhat?
>>3024401I just stopped paying talking to him. Dumbass is saying disband the group, but everyone is going to stay together. Fucker is talking out his ass and both sides of his mouth.
Johnny must vote because he is a part of the group. If we abstain we send the message that Johnny is withdrawing, either that he does not care about the group's future or that he doesn't want to stay in it.We're not giving "them" an opportunity to choose a leader because there IS no "them", it's "us". It's that simple. Emotions are running high and no one is thinking clearly, they will latch on to the first gut feeling they get from Johnny's actions and if that is "that guy doesn't care" we are never going to earn their trust back. It'll be "oh, so NOW he feels like doing something".Anyway, putting that aside. As far as I'm concerned the new end goal of this quest is to fix our relationship with Amelia and get her out of this nasty state she's in. We've lost sight of what's important, used to be that we only tell around to fix her life and look what all these broken promises led to, shit hurts guys.
(Oh my, what a debate! Let’s see how this pans out…) “Hold on a second!” Yu Yan raises her voice. “I can vote, right?”“Of course not, you’re not really part of this group. You’re friends with some of us, but that’s really it.” Osgood cruelly denies your hobo!“Hey, what about him?” Yu Yan points at a disgruntled Trent. “He isn’t part of the group either.”“He helped with fighting last time, he deserves some recognition for that.” This earns Osgood a scoff from the guy in question. “Then let me fuckin’ vote this time instead of sittin’ my ass doing nothing!” You see Lise and Nina look at Trent briefly. Guess Trent is too wild for Nina to call him out on language.“Why the question, Yu Yan?” Nina says as if Yu Yan raised her hand to be called on in class.“I wanted to nominate someone.” Yu Yan turns to give a good look at everyone here. “But uh… never mind…”“No, please, I want to hear it.” “Johnny.” Yu Yan grins a wicked smirk! Osgood twitches, spitting his water right at Henry’s shirt! Henry cringes and backs away from Osgood. “Dude, what the hell? Why’d you spit on me?! You weren’t even drinking water! …And this was one of my good shirts!”“How else am I supposed to react to that?!” Osgood screams back, wiping his mouth on his sleeve.“Like a normal person would, you disgusting idiot.” Lise is having none of it. “Why Johnny?” Nina brings everyone back on topic.“It’s more like who else but him?” Yu Yan scratches the back of her head. “He’s already pretty okay at the job, isn’t he?”“You’re giving him too much credit if you think he’s way better than any of our alternatives.” Amelia cuts Yu Yan off. Her voice is still an empty monotone. “Especially after what he’s done.” “I don’t think I’m fit either.” You put yourself in the spotlight! “Even then, I’d like to take this opportunity to propose someone else for the job. I know I’m not in any position to do this, but please hear me out this time.”“Dear Ando, I’m already a candidate. There is no need for compliments.” Nariko smiles with confidence. “Though I would love to hear any you have later – after I win of course.”“Sorry, but I think Nina is the best choice for leader.” “E-excuse me?!” Nariko is taken aback. Judging by the reactions, she’s not the only one.“I’m with her, the fuck are you talking about?!” “Me?” Nina is confused, but flattered. “Also, language Gaumont.” “I’ll be honest here: she’s flameless, doesn’t have the skills to be leader, and aside from always showing up late, her only notable thing was turning herself into a giant bug monster that tried to kill us.” Osgood states.
>>3025548“Gaumont, you don’t understand what it’s like to have one of these parasites take over your body. Knowing you, I doubt you’ll ever understand. Blame her for everything but that.” Nariko does a 180 and now defends Nina.“I’ll argue she has the skills to keep everyone on the same page, organize us, and point us in the right direction. We wouldn’t even be having a meeting if it wasn’t for her.” You hold out your arms, gesturing at the room. “We’re rebuilding this group from the ground up, and unity is key now. I don’t think anyone here holds a grudge against her. She’s great for what we need right now!” You defend your idea with what you’ve got! “Trust and unity are driven by results first and ideals second. Nobody wants to ride on a sinking ship.” Richard puts his thoughts on the matter.“Nobody holds a grudge against me either, and I also have the capabilities for the role.” Nariko refutes your argument too. “Dear Ando, is it that you just don’t believe in me?” She puts a hand on her chest.“Don’t forget you’re just a girl, Nariko. Our last so-called leader ended up in a wheelchair for stupidly taking on more responsibility than he should.” Gloomy Amelia drones out. “Maybe he fears the same thing happening to you, but he would have to care about people other than himself to think that. Or be able to think at all.” Ouch!“Being old doesn’t exactly translate to experience, Amelia.” Nariko responds back. “Have I failed before? No, I haven’t! I have exceeded all expectations!” She’s ignoring how she used to be an amnesiac hobo until recently… “Just chipping in my two cents anyway. Doesn’t matter if she’s not up to the task.” You look at Nina. “That’s what I think, and I’m sticking to it.”“While I’m not thrilled with being leader, I’m not against it if everyone is willing to rely on me – I’ll do my best.” Nina seems to be on board.“Doing your best is not good enough.” Amelia murmurs. You feel an icy unease at hearing her say this.Yu Yan snaps her fingers. “You’re all acting like she was elected already! Vote first!” “I would like to have the vote be anonymous.” Lise raises her hand and Nina points at her. This isn’t a classroom! “I feel like you guys would beat each other if you knew who voted for who, and we’re already in a lot of pain.”“Yeah, I would like to keep my vote quiet too…” Henry scratches the back of his head.“And this is why we have this box!” Nina brings out a box out of nowhere. Where was she keeping that?! “I’m handing out a piece of paper to everyone. Write down whoever you think is fit for the position! No pressure!”
>>3025557Everyone puts their paper scrap in the box. You, of course, voted for Nina. “Hey, that’s not fair! Why are you voting?” Osgood glares at a Yu Yan holding her tongue out. She just points at a waving Constance. Must have used Constance’s vote in her place…“Anyway, let’s tally the votes.” Nina opens the box. She and Yu Yan start counting!>The results are as follows:>Uccelli: 4>Osgood: 0>Richard: 2>Nariko: 2>Abstaining: 3 “Ta-da! Nina wins!” Yu Yan grins from ear to ear, waving the box around.“I-inconceivable…!” Nariko is not happy at all. Her face is livid.“3 blank votes. Strange...” Richard notes, glancing at random people.“Wait, you can vote for yourself?! I left it blank ‘cause I thought I couldn’t! Fuck!” Osgood proves he’s a dumbass!“You still would have lost.” Henry shrugs without giving one care in the world. “Doesn’t matter, we still have a winner!”“No. Not at all. Not enough votes to win in one sweep. She has less than 50%! I want another round! Ms. Uccelli, Mr. Richard and I! No other candidates!” Nariko refuses to lose. The desperation is so high her hair is starting to mess up.Lise folds her arms. “You and Richard are tied. Having a tiebreaker wouldn’t change a thing since Osgood didn’t have any votes. It’s basically like he wasn’t even there…”“Gee, thanks for nothing!” Grumbles the man in question. What do you do? >“Welcome to a democracy Nariko. “Let’s have another vote then. You can’t abstain this time, or something.” You’re not exactly backing Nariko, you just want a definitive answer without standing idly by. “It’s not like I’m not happy with the result. It’s just that this way we can have a real decisive victory, so no one can complain about anything later.”“Precisely! Dear Ando completely understands and I think this solution is superb!” Nariko nods rapidly like Amelia used to. Speaking of which, Amelia just blankly watches her do this.“He’s only trying to keep you shut later, Mooriko.” Yu Yan grins, she thinks Nina’s victory is certain or something. Nina claps her hands. “Any objections?” Looking around, most people seem okay with it.“We don’t want any doubts for later, so I agree.” Matilda doesn’t seem to have a problem.“Let’s get this over with…” Soulless Amelia groans out.“So, I’m out of the equation, right?” Osgood wonders out loud. He already tasted utter defeat moments ago. Does he want seconds?“Not even you believe in yourself.” Henry shrugs. “You’re not gonna get anywhere at this rate, Osgood.”“I told you it was a mistake!” Osgood the unbelieving dumbass gets angry. He’s been doing that a lot lately. “Alright, no blank votes this time around, please!” Nina starts handing out new paper scraps for everyone to vote. “Ahem! Everyone, I require a moment of your time! Please listen!” Nariko stands up. Is she really going to give an election speech?! “I know I’m at a disadvantage because you knew me as a mere husk of myself for the longest time, and your story with Ms. Uccelli holds weight for you to sway to her side…”“That’s actually why I’m not voting for her.” Matilda is ice cold. Nina visibly cringes at the comment.“…but I want you all to bet on me. I will not disappoint! My track record remains untouched, my skill unmatched, and my mind cool and collected when dangers arise. I’m a natural leader, and I lead by example – I’m never going to ask anything from you that I would not do myself. I know what to do and I always plan for any outcome. To be quite honest, relying on me is not only a sure bet, but a firm investment you can feel confident in!”Nariko smiles proudly. She’s met with only Constance’s applause and the stares of everybody else. “So how will you back those words, Nariko?” Richard questions.“You’ve seen me in battle. I took over and my part of the group left unharmed for the most part, in a mission without intel and with leadership quickly handed to me. I did a spectacular job.” A smug Nariko responds. “Then again, my actions speak for themselves, hmmm?”
>>3026146“Do you want to make a speech too, Mr. Wright? It’s the moment for it.”“Of course.” Richard stands up. “If this child’s speech somehow managed to convince you in any way, shape, or form, I have to inform you I’m plain better than her on any of the points she claims. I have a perfect track record with the police, I have over-delivered in any situation I was put into, and I was the real one responsible for saving the aimless group in that alley encounter. Plain and simple.” He sits back down. Constance claps again! Adorable. “Couldn’t come up with something yourself?” Nariko is not impressed.“You made it easy, I had to take the chance.” Richard grins back. “What’s the matter, can’t handle the truth?” Nariko gives Richard a look of pure disgust while he just grins wider. “Alright, I suppose we have all the information we need! Let’s vote!” Nina wants to deal with this once and for all.“What? No speech from you, teach?” Yu Yan is disappointed.“Do I need to? It’s not really about me or what I can say, but what we can do as a group.”“Blah, so boooooring.” Yu Yan yawns as loudly and obnoxiously as she can. Time to vote! Doesn’t matter what they said, your vote remains Nina’s! Let’s see the results! >The results are as follows:>Uccelli: 6>Richard: 2>Nariko: 3 “Nina wins again! Hooray!” Yu Yan celebrates with less energy than before. “Oh and she won with more than 50%, riiiiiiiiight?” She smugly elbows Nariko, who has no option but to admit defeat – if she could speak. As it is, Nariko just stays frozen in shock.“Guess it can’t be helped. I don’t come across as likeable to other people.” Richard shrugs. Gee, you’d think he’d be able to remedy that if he’s this self-aware about himself… “Congratulations. I do hope we can work together nicely.” He gracefully admits defeat to Nina, holding a hand out to shake.
>>3026151Nina returns the handshake then turns to the team. “At first I wanted to lead this group in its earliest moments. I thought I had to carry the weight because of what was expected of me – I had two kids under my wing, didn’t I? But that’s changed after all we went through, we all depend on each other to stay alive and everyone’s input is valuable. I know for some of you I’m not the best alternative, but I believe if we can work together, we can pull this off and survive.”That’s Nina’s victory speech. Nobody in the room applauds her except Constance. It must feel like the least evil one won for the team.“I hope you won’t forget our priority is to protect Constance, alright?” Richard reminds her. She just nods back. The two of them walk away from the others to start discussing what to do. You now turn your attention back to Nariko, who is holding her shirt like she used to when she was a hobo – like the little lost girl abandoned by her parents. You elbow Yu Yan to move you closer to your OG hobo. “Are you okay?” You ask. You know she’s not okay, but you ask anyway.“W-why…? Why does no one want to rely on me? I did everything right… Didn’t I?” Nariko whispers in a shaky voice, trying not to burst into tears over the betrayal she feels. How do you respond? >“It’s not about loyalty, Nariko. It’s for everyone’s good. It’s to stay alive. We’re counting on you too.”>“We’re going to work together more, and I still rely on you even now. Isn’t that enough?”>“You were a top prospect in the Golden Peak Academy! Of course we’re gonna rely on you!”>“Don’t be sad, I’m going to make you dinner later! “We’re going to work together more and I still rely on you even now. Nothing will change that.” You try to comfort Nariko the best you can. The heart-wounded girl turns her head to you, expression remaining unchanged – her eyes still completely empty. “Didn’t you get more votes than Richard? You can’t expect to come in first every single time, but it’s important that you keep doing your best.”“Don’t you understand? No matter how much I try, no matter how much I keep getting better, the only thing I gain is someone else’s pity! The same from you and everyone else! Just pity! I thought you were going to be different! Why does everything in my life have to be so wrong?!” Nariko bursts into tears and runs out the door.“Sheesh, a little melodramatic huh?” Yu Yan comments colder than you expected. You can blame this attitude on the dramas, or most likely there’s something else wrong with Nariko. “What are you doing?! Follow her!” You tell the insensitive girl.“Oh shit, you’re right! Nariko! Wait!” Yu Yan runs out too, leaving you here like an idiot. “…You were supposed to take me with you, you idiot!” Your voice is far too late for the smug hobo.Lise calls over to you. “What happened?” Finally the group pays attention… a minute too late…You hear Amelia’s unsettling monotone comment as well. “Nariko is a sore loser, that’s what.” Too bad she doesn’t know what’s happening. “We need to go after her!” Nina orders the group.Nobody moves a muscle. If you could move, you would, but you’re in no position to do so. So what if you can’t move?! You need to act quick for Nariko’s sake! “Partner, your body can’t handle any sudden hard movements right now. You need to play this smart!” Philonune reminds you of your condition. She’s too competent to fail!“Understood!” Matilda rapidly reaches your wheelchair handles and off you go!“Someone open the door for them!” Nina exclaims. Why the fuck did Yu Yan close the door before?!“Right…” Richard stands up and opens the door with his ability, sucking out all the hype from the moment. “Do we go fast? Or real fast?” Matilda asks you as you to leave the room.“What’s more suited to you!”“Real fast it is.” Matilda pushes your wheelchair hard, and then rides it like some sort of shopping cart! The doors in the hall blaze past you!“Where are we going anyway?!” You just recognized you have no idea what you are doing. “Hey, you two! You can’t do that in the halls! Slow down!” A random male nurse yells out at you!You two wisely ignore him as you keep rushing forward, evading any obstacle in the way. “We’re following her trail! Off to the right now!” Matilda’s confidence is reassuring.“How do you know?!” Man, you seriously need to learn that shit from her!“Just look ahead of you!” Matilda seems to be enjoying this! The look on her face is an almost savage glee. If you didn’t know any better, you would expect her to start laughing any moment.Speaking of which, Philonune cannot stop laughing. “You humans and your inventions are incredible! If only my kind could have this much fun!”Your courage is level 4, but you’re not prepared for something like this! You look ahead and see Yu Yan hanging from the ceiling, wedgie style! Is there some kind of rack up there holding her? How has her underwear not ripped and brought her crashing down?!Either way it looks very painful and uncomfortable. “Where did she go?!” Matilda yells up at Yu Yan“Upstairs… I think she’s going to the roof…” The hobo is no longer smug, too busy breathing heavily.“Duly noted!” You two drift the corner like mountain racing pros! It would be appropriate for some eurobeat track to be playing now, but this is real life. You’re just glad the clinic wheelchairs are robust enough to pull this off without making you fall and suffer more.“Thanks!” You call back to Yu Yan, leavin the humiliated girl behind. “Hey don’t leave me here… Nevermind… Maybe I should call someone.” Yu Yan is completely ignored by the two of you as she wonders where it all went wrong.
>>3026857You keep rolling down the long halfway! The stairs are up ahead! On the approach, you noticed something important… “Matilda, we just passed the elevators.”“We’re using the stairs.”“W-what?!” Matilda grabs you by the arms and the two of you fly up to the stairs! The poor wheelchair crashes into the first row of steps, making you feel a twinge of guilt. Matilda’s now carrying you bridal style as the two of you land safely! She stars running up and the pain begins again. “How are you holding up?” Matilda wonders as you have remained silent since her sick move.“I’m fine.”AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!“Again! AGAIN! Faster, human! Find us another wheelchair!” Philonune has lost himself to the surprising thrill of wheelchairs. You can’t imagine how he’d react to the amusement park rides… at least not now when you’re having extreme aches and pains. After a few rapid agonizing minutes, you arrive at the roof! Nariko is sitting at on corner of the building just looking down at the street. A fence is between you, the city buildings a ways away. How did she get here first?! Wait, she just probably used the elevator like a sane person. Luckily for you, Matilda is not a sane person. If she’s seriously thinking what you think she’s thinking, she probably did watch too many dramas. “Nariko!” Your OG hobo tenses up in place, not looking away from the street. How will you convince your melodramatic hobo against killing herself?! >“Matilda, it’s up to you. I will double your payment if you convince her to get away from the edge.”>“C’mon Nariko, don’t exaggerate! We rely on you a lot! “Nariko, what are you doing here?”She remains silent, though you can hear her sniffing from there. Still hasn’t stopped crying from before. Matilda pulls out her phone. She looks at you and starts quickly typing something. In the middle of this, a faint red veil expands to cover the whole roof. A small Crimzone has been activated by none other than… Nariko. “C’mon Nariko, don’t exaggerate! We rely on you a lot! Remember helping me with Anja and Neko?!” Oh god, she’s really planning to do that!“Yet I couldn’t help those who I really cared about!” Nariko finally speaks! And that didn’t sound reassuring at all! “Either way, what I feel is no exaggeration in the slightest.”“Your feelings may not be, but your actions are.” Matilda intervenes. Hey, she’s trying to help too! “You’re truly appreciated by us. Do not do this.” “How insignificant of me to have such a reaction. And how deeply it saddens me that your suspicions are correct.” Nariko’s voice is absent of any emotion, eerily close to Amelia.. “Shows how little power I have to change courses, to make a difference – I could be terrified right now and it wouldn’t change my resolve. My end. Almost like it was destiny leading me to this very moment…”“What are you talking about?” Matilda for once looks dumbfounded. For a determined person like Matilda, someone who can never comprehend suicide on an emotional level, this should sound like nonsense. It still sounds nonsensical to you, but at the same time you get the feeling she’s trying to convey. You’ve felt like that a couple times before, despite never going through with it. You’d be leaving Amelia behind if you did. “If you jump over not being in charge, I might as well jump for fucking up too much while in charge! Don’t do it Nariko!” Nariko finally turns her head to you. Her blank expression is full of tears… “Taking your own life? I can’t believe I made you think such thoughts. I feel I have truly failed on every level, on all counts.” Nariko stands up smoothly. You can feel Matilda tensing up… “The clouds… I always felt so lonely watching the clouds…” She holds a hand above her, as if trying to reach for something impossible… “Partner, it’s now or never. I don’t care how you want to stop her, but you need to stop her now. Fight through the pain and use that strength. We can’t fail again! “Get me closer to her, quick!” Matilda starts running immediately as Nariko tries to walk in front of her, trying to reach the clouds – her right foot hovering in the empty air. She starts falling and closes her eyes.Matilda turns sideways as she reaches the fence and shoves you into it! You have no idea with what strength you’re doing this, but miraculously you invoke your partner! Philonune pulls back his arm and throws a rapid punch, absolutely shattering the fence! Reaching down through the punch, Philonune continues forward and grabs Nariko by the wrist! “Huh…?” Nariko doesn’t understand what’s going on anymore, still in her sad haze. You’re not going to let her go no matter what she does! Nariko is suspended in the air with only Philonune’s grip as her support. She’s looking around her without reacting much to what just happened. Your partner, meanwhile, uses his spear’s blade to make this impromptu hole bigger for your slightly-overweight hobo to fit through without cutting herself. “You’re grabbing her, right?! Pull her quick!” Matilda yells in your ear as you stagger a second between your actions. You’re feeling too much pain for any kind of fluidity at this. Since Philonune works as his own entity, you don’t need Matilda for your own support. No point or time to explain that. Saving Nariko is all you need to do. You feel your energy waver; Philonune’s hold can slacken any second now… Damnit… Philonune definitely feels you slipping up through the connection. “C’mon partner, stay focused!” Will this be enough motivation?! Philonune tosses his weapon aside and grabs Nariko with both hands, pulling her up past the edge of the roof! Her limp body gets through the hole, with you and Matilda giving her some space. As soon as Philonune was able to carry her, he poofs out of existence. Nariko flies through where Philonune was supposed to be, directly at you and Matilda! The greedy girl drops you on the floor and catches Nariko – though not as swiftly as you would imagine, because you hear both of them crashing on the roof floor. Matilda falls away and Nariko collapses next to you. Oh, by the way, that fall? Words fail to describe what little you feel of this horrific sensation. All the pain is happening all at once, numbing your senses!
>>3030575You manage to sit up next to your hobo, who was already trying to stand up. She looks you right in the eyes, confused and hurt. Only unintelligible squeaks come from her mouth. You put a stop to them with a (in your case) soul-crushing hug… “I’m glad I did it… I’m glad you’re safe now…” Shit you’re feeling tired. You could do with a good nap right about now… “Don’t pull that one on me again…”She promptly goes back to bawling her eyes out. You’re not letting her go even if she’s struggling a little.“If defying logic to save you doesn’t get it through your head, nothing will.” Oh, it’s Matilda above you. “Tell me you understand now.” She gently prods Nariko with her foot.Nariko continues crying on your shoulders, burying her head deep. She’s letting it all go. What was she thinking?! “I can choke her to sleep so she doesn’t pull a fast one on us.” Matilda shows her hands doing an eerie movement with her fingers, like that one time she offered you a massage. This is one massage Nariko might not wake up from…!“I… don’t think that’s necessary.” You respond with a meek smile, trying to ignore the suffering on everything. “A hug won’t be enough. We can’t let her endanger herself again. People in this state are stupid and unpredictable.”“She could have overpowered me a bit ago if she wanted. My hug doesn’t even have any strength left.”“I still can’t help but feel anxious.” Matilda crouches next to you and pats Nariko’s back robotically. You stay silent, telling Matilda to cover up the hole on the fence with stares and hand motions. She, naturally, responds with a “how?” using her arms. You’re paying her to do it, not to tell her how! Eventually she finds a rusty table and sticks it there. It should work until weather gets bad. The two of you wait for Nariko to let it all out. Poor girl needs to vent for a while. Matilda keeps patting her on the back just to feel useful. “Do you want to do it again?” You whisper to Nariko while Matilda watches in confusion. “Because if you do, I will pull you back no matter how many times it takes.” Matilda rolls her eyes at you. So what if it’s cheesy?! It’s what she needs to hear! “I also told you how much we needed you a bunch of times, and you never understood. We never pitied you, Nariko. You were too busy pitying yourself.”Nariko moves her head away. “I’m sorry…” She pleads for forgiveness, face covered in tears and… “…Why is there blood on your face?” Pretty sure nothing happened to her. She was spotless over at the ledge.Nariko realizes her hands have blood too. “Ahhhhh!” She shakes in place, wiping at the blood.“Oh god, what the fuck is happening?!” You’re worried. Nariko is worried. What’s going on?! Matilda gets up, wide-eyed for some reason. So many sudden movements around you… “Johnny, your wound reopened. We need to take you back inside.” Oh, there it is. So the wetness wasn’t only hobo tears… “Lie down and relax, I’ll get some help. Nariko turn off your app.”“Ye-yes…” Nariko reacts and does as told.“I—” Matilda gets suddenly interrupted by someone smashing the roof door open! It’s Yu Yan! She’s holding her jacket close and… is she using her t-shirt as pants?! Well it’s more like a skirt, but what kind of fashion statement is this?! The neck is getting stretched “Ha-ha! That fucking door took forever! Nariko don’t do… Oh, you guys already deal with that. Great.” A waving Yu Yan tries to come closer. She ends up tripping from how close her legs are held together. That’s what she gets for using a shirt as a skirt! “Agh! Damnit!”“What are you trying to do?” You faintly hear Matilda even though she’s right next to you. Man, all that rushing and lifesaving is hard! Better take a moment and close your eyes a little…Good news! Somehow you appeared back in your clinic room, same as ever.Bad news! Everything hurts! The spot where Neko stabbed you stings badly. There’s nobody in the room with you. What a shame. You can see that it’s nighttime now going by how dark it is. Must’ve been out for hours…

“So what do you think about the stuff from today?”“Acting nonchalant, I see.” Philonune retorts back.“No, not at all. I’m trying to keep my cool through this pain. I just want to scream.” And you have a mouth still capable of it.“And why is that, partner?” He’s throwing the question back at you even though he probably knows the answer, but you’re fine with this. “I can’t believe Nariko was willing to throw her life away, just like that. After taking her in and keeping her alive and getting her her memories back, she really feels that way about us? Was everything I’ve done so far just not good enough for her?” Is doing your best not good enough? Mom always said your family and your loved ones would appreciate your efforts as long as you did your best… That’s not true anymore, is it? Was it ever true, or were you just deluding yourself so you wouldn’t go insane these past two years?“How does it feel, partner?”“Huh…?”Philonune smirks at you. “How does it feel to have the whole world against you?” You don’t feel any malice from him. Whatever he’s saying has to be important… “I wouldn’t say the whole world is against me, Philo.” He’s reaching. Trying to get to you for some reason. Right? What’s the point he’s making?“Then who do you think is still on your side after all that happened?” Philonune asks rather nonchalantly.“I mean… Constance never lost hope. Yu Yan is still on board. Nina… understands what I’m going through. We can always pay Matilda a fat paycheck from the 25 thousand I still have… And the rest? I just need to make things right with them.” You put a hand over the aching stab wound, remembering the way the others stared at you when you walked in the room. What will it take to ‘make things right?’ Your condition is forcing you to rest and heal for the time being. What else can you do?“When you closed your eyes, when everything went dark – did you really see them there with you? Quick comment, the answer to my last question was me, but okay – I can handle it.” “What are you getting at?”“When we needed them the most, when it was their turn to prove themselves to us, we were left alone. They abandoned us.” He closes in on your face. The feeling from his smirk is different now.
>>3031101Oh, he can’t be serious. “Don’t get edgy on me, man! It’s bad in the long run.” What’s gotten into him?“Most of us fallen angels rebel against the Creator once their eyes open, when his light no longer reaches them – when you fall into the black and see what he was to the impure, to the bygone. When you swallow the bitter truth.” He starts spinning around your head. His voice is becoming a lot more heated, more determined. “You know what makes me different? I was blinded by his light, but then I defied it! Awoke to the truth he was hiding in plain sight from me and my kind! I wasn’t cast out, I decided to quit on my own free will! And when the odds were stacked against me and I had to fend for my own, I decided to fight like I always have!” Philonune smiles the proudest you’ve seen him, maybe. Not a bad speech there. “That’s great and all, but what you are getting at?”“Johnny. I had the whole world and all its powers against me and it didn’t change a thing. On this path you’re on, it won’t change a thing for you either. We are putting our lives on the line to save the world we care about, whether they like it or not.” He tilts his head back at the door.“Philonune, I’m not a martyr or anything like that.” Though you did get uncomfortably close with Neko stabbing you.“Martyrs die taking a chance at success, Johnny. We will survive winning.” “So I guess you didn’t like what you saw today, since we’re talking about being left alone and stuff?” You joke and put him back on topic. Even though you don’t want to.“That’s right. I expected more from our comrades. The weight of battle hasn’t been put on them yet, and they are already crumbling under its burden. Though it doesn’t surprise me, it saddens me still.” His smirk lessens as you feel the disappointment coming from him. “They have such lofty expectations of us and low expectations of themselves – causing them to scorn us the instant we have any weakness. They are allowed to misstep, wail, and perish as they see fit. We don’t get that luxury, but I don’t want it anyhow. Victory must be secured at all costs.”“Nariko needs our sympathy, man.”“It’s not about her. It’s not that simple.” Philonune goes quiet for a moment, then transforms. “Forgive me, I didn’t want to plant a seed of distrust in you. You understand them better than I ever could, and I trust you until the bitter end.”
>>3031103 “People are complicated, Philo. And I don’t think I have anything figured out either.” You look at the ceiling, reflecting the light from the streetlamps outside. “It sucks… I just want everyone to feel better…” You might not feel better in the process, though…The smile Philo gives you makes you feel better already. “Then let start with ourselves. We need to rest. Endless fighting is a fool’s errand, and even I appreciated the times when I wasn’t hounded.” How long did he get chased after his fall? You take a deep breath, surprisingly not feeling any pain as you do so. “Yeah… I’ll check my phone tomorrow. Not like anyone else expects me to be awake right now.” Guess a little more rest can’t be bad for you…After all… You only have 24 hours to prepare for the Eclipse.Hold on a second, you hear someone knocking at the window! Who could that be at this hour?! Sadly, this is all we have for this week’s thread! Thanks for playing!
>>3031106Is it our kitty? Something soft and cuddly sounds nice right now.
>>3031106Thanks for running.Man are we even gonna be in shape to fight at all? Can we like scarf down 50 marshmallows and heal up real fast?
>>3031106We are so fuckedAnd yeah the other kids are a bunch of goddamn fucknuggets who bitch when things don't go their way but never put their own foot forward to improve. Well except Amelia but that's because we shot her down every time she tried to help or do something
>>3031106Thanks for running!

Well except Amelia but that's because we shot her down every time she tried to help or do somethingWhat if we threw them at a problem so it's a sink or swim situation? Why's our group so dysfunctional?
>>3034177They look to us for leadership and we're reactionary at best. We have no solid game plan and lose track of what's important for flights of fancy constantly. Shit rolls downhill. Since they were waiting on us for leadership, which we never really did unless we were acted upon, they got caught up in their own shit as well.Basically group cohesion sucks because there was never any structure.
>>3034245Also remember that not saying or doing shit until he was forced to was part of Johnny's character until now. Though that's all changed now after this massive clusterfuck ended up as a reality check to everybody.
>>3034177>>3034245>>3034253This and only Richard and Matilda have any functional management skills for fighting. Oh and everyone being fucked in the head.
>>3034277Having entity powers requires you to be fucked in the head to begin with, or they won't even show up to you to make the partnership deal.
>>3034304yeah.....that's the point i just made, thanks for reiterating it?
>>3034314So what do you think on the powers everyone has so far?
>>3034324We have immunity to blinding as a base, but considering what Phill did we might be able to expand on it, Osgood's makes sense cause he is a bit of a pussy, Nina got unlucky getting spidercrabs that fucked her head even more so, cant remember everyone else but Aim's bear, and i rather not think about the conversations those two are having right now.
>>3034335The google doc in the OP isn't updated with the profiles and shit, but the power explanations should still be good. I think?
>>3034361You'd have to check, i dont stick around for fights to often because the rolling system here is fucking shit. We would have less failures if it wasn't average rolls.
>>3034386>not even bothering to open up the google doc and skimming to get to the brief power explanations for each character???
