Titans Quest, takes place in the DC universe and currently focuses on Teen Titans. In particular it focuses on you, Adam Issacs, a member of the team who has been active in the cape community for over two months. Currently you have been given a minor leadership role with in the group and have become a probationary associate member of the Justice League. Who knows where your career will end up. You might wind up a full time member of the Justice League or a leader of the Teen Titans. The Titans are a New York based team of former sidekicks/young adult heroes who have decided to help train and support teenagers/new heroes just starting out on their own. Naturally while this quest is based on the DC comics universe, things are different. Superheros haven been around since forever, especially since WWII, but super heroics trends ebb and flow, with the Justice League having only been around less than seven years. The Teen Titans, have been active now for one year and are a little obscure to anyone but news hounds, New Yorkers, and super hero fanatics. On the broader scale, a lot of big villains and heroes haven’t made their debut. Darkseid and the rest of the New Gods are a mystery, Trigon’s existence is only now being believed, and Booster Gold is still a washed up security guard a couple of centuries into the future. >>2615276Glad to have you back.
You take a long, long sip of wine. Not a very seasonal drink, but as long as your drunk on Halloween, isn’t that all that counts? Then again that might have been because two bozos calling themselves “New Gods” warn you that Intergang was smuggling in super weapons from another world into New York and Metropolis to jump start a shooting war between the US and the USSR. Heavy stuff when you just wanted to dance with Raven and/or Harley and dress like an idiot. You sigh, as a skinny brunette woman with short hair and a swagger that tells you she has a bad attitude bumps into you; your drink spills all over you as she passes by without a single word or gesture of apology. You have a heavy feeling it’s because of the costume you have on though, as she even smells so much coffee and cigarettes that you could tell she is a reporter. You almost think of confronting her about her rudeness but what’s on your periphery matters more to you.You see Nightwing, dressed as Dracula, dancing with whom your still guessing is Batgirl. You might want to fill him on what just happened….but in the other you see Beast Boy drinking punch by himself, eyes focuses on some cute girl around his age dressed as a witch.>A.) Go confront the rude reporter.>B.) Tell Dick what’s going on.>C.) See if Gar needs some advice.
>>2615303thank, sorry for the delay. personal stuff I've stated else where. Also weird captcha this time.
>>2615307>C.) See if Gar needs some advice. It's a party. Help out Gar.And remember to tell Dick later.>>2615313Yeah, it's weird to get used to.
>>2615307>CI was sure this was dead forever, glad to be wrong.
>>2615307>>A.) Go confront the rude reporter. What costume are we wearing again?
>>2615307>CThis is just more eye candy for the girls. Also that reporter is baiting.
>>2615323I think Frankenstein. I could be wrong, though.
>>2615332You'd be right
>>2615323Something slutty. Like the man-slut we are.
>>2615347I remember wanting to dress as Rocky from Rocky Horror Picture Show, as that would both match our origin and man-slut appearance.
You push and slide through the crowd with relative ease. The costume seems to have done a great job in dissuading groupies and reporters from bothering you; everyone you pass by obviously wanting nothing more than to catch an actual glimpse of the Titans or make business or political connections or score. Despite all this, no one it seems wants to approach Garfield, though he is perhaps the most recognizable Titan thanks to the costume party, outside of Starfire. He just sits there lonely and sighing. “Hey Gar, what’s happening man?” You say grabbing by the shoulder into a little bro hug, even clamping down on his back with a heavy hand. His gaze goes from the girl to you, another sad mummer escaping from his mouth like a prisoiner in a incompetent jail “Nothing man, it’s no big deal. It’s just that she asked me to dance and you know...”“Terra?” You ask.“Yeah, she returned one of my calls remember? But she’s thousands miles away and says she doesn’t plan on coming back...but...”“Trust me I get it.” You say, looking at the girl. “Of course my solution would be to just juggle them. Works out fine in my experience.” Beast Boy gives you a look that’s half disgust and half admiration before looking back at the girl, and burying his face into his hands. “Yeah, I’m not like you though Adam. I mean, we both might be super cool, but I’m just starting off...showing how groovy I am, get it. Besides I don’t think that’s for me. I have nothing against it, I was in the Doom Patrol remember? But I don’t know, I want intimate? Cozy?”>A.) No one’s saying sleep with the girl or even kiss her. Just dance with her, get to know her. You never put a ring on Terra’s finger Gar or anything. You barely flirted with the girl, let alone dated her, and she’s not going to be here. It’s okay to get out there and meet new people>B.) Okay. I understand how you feel man. We’ll meet Terra again, I can feel it. Then you can either put that relationship to bed or see if she wants to continue it. Don’t feel pressured, take your time.>C.) Gar you’re using your ‘relationship’ or rather Pen Pal letters as an excuse to protect yourself here. It’s been a month and it didn’t really go anywhere to begin with when it came to her. It’s okay to open your heart buddy. Go have that dance.

Finally, he looks at you and nods, going to the girl in green makeup with two cups of soda in hand. After a little chatting, she starts drinking it and they start bopping up in down in a little awkward gig. A little too happy with yourself, you look around and still say Nightwing swaying his hips with Barbara on them, as onlookers stop to stare a bit at their display. To the far side Cyborg was doing a terrible rendition of Tonya Monta’s outburst at dinner with his wife, his faux Cuban accent sounding more Italian. His girlfriend could barely contain her giggles, while everyone one else didn’t bother with the pretext. A little away from him Rose was harrassed by the reporter you had seen earlier, Rose slumping over his chair pretending not to notice it and the reporter just drilling her harder. You could see her fist was clenched. >A.) Go confront the rude reporter and help Rose>B.) Tell Dick about Intergang>C.) Check in on Cyborg

sorry little delay on updating, grabbing a bite to eat
>>2615679It's fine, everyone needs to eat even QM's.
>>2615610>>A.) Go confront the rude reporter and help Rose
The brunette was orbiting above and glowering down on Rose like a harsh unforgiving sun. She was nothing but barely contained fury; dynamite which wasn’t lit, but left unprotected in insanely dry heat. Her arms and legs shook she let lose a tirade of insulting questions and opened ended accusations. “So just for our readers at the Central City Picture News, I want to confirm your kill total is twenty people correct?”“It was seventeen actually.” Rose says quietly, her finger circling around the edge of her glass.“You seem very particular about that; should I note it’s a matter of professional pride? Modesty?” She continues.Rose just looks at her, a bored expression spread across her face. Her fist was still clenched though. “No Ms. West. Not pride or anything to deal with my past profession. I regret all of it; why do you think I’m on the Titans. That’s exactly how many people I killed for a living and it was only the start of my career. I remember them every night; and even if I didn’t, I have the feeling you’d correctly be riding my ass if I didn’t know the actual number.”“For a woman who says you’re regret your previous career, you seem awfully short.” Iris West says, eyes slit to daggers. “What makes you think your worth this opportunity. They’re are thousands of people who’d would be excellent additions to the Titans; none of whom have murder raps. What makes you more qualified then them?>A.) Her skills.>B.) >>2615774>D. That what we Titans decided. You don't get to judge our criteria, we do. Holding her past against her would be like holding mine against me because I was made by some psychos with too much brain and not enough morals.

“The fact that she can set an example Ms. West. That everyone matters.” You say, crossing your arms. ”Holding someones past against then, will never make then able to change." West just glares at you; not bothering to even respond and just heading back to the swarming crowds behind all of you. You glance at the retreating woman and back at Rose who just shrugs at you, a sad smile replacing his bored expression.“I kinda expected this. People where bound to be angry someone like me would be on a team like this; you’re icons and role models for the next generation of kids and I’m...”You put a hand out to stop her. “A model on redemption just like I told that reporter.”“Nice, but I know my dad dumped you off on me.” Rose says, her smile thought becoming warmer.“Sure, but we’d never let you on if we didn’t think you were genuine. That’s the how, not the why...Rose.” You shrug.“Thanks, Adam. I really do appreciate it.” Rose says, her eyes darting to other side of the room as a loud crash comes from the entrance. You turn to see a giant, red haired man, complete with a mane around from his hair to his chin, like a lion. A familiar figure to you, standing around nine feet tall and so thick with muscle he looked obese. Next to him was a pale girl, with hot pink hair fixed into twin pig tails. She at least looked suited to the party, much like the man with the exposed brain and flowing green cloak. With a bare sides and a wide and long stripe of hair draped over head, a young woman was crouched underneath the giant. Of course one stood above the rest...literally. A smug black and white cloaked man in a stripped armor with a jewel in the middle of his helm. You knew them all, hell you fought them all.“Our day is not done Titans. The Fearsome Five are hear to mark this Halloween your date...of death!!!” Mammoth yelled, at the top of his lungs, the chandelier shaking back and forth above the lobby shaking with his roar.“Yes, a little over dramatic and cliché Mammoth, besides...death is not our object tonight. Just...Gravitas.” Psimon says, eyes locked onto yours>A.) Won’t you people give it a rest, we’re trying to host a charity event here.>B.) Drop the chandelier on Mammoth.>C.) “Let’s take this outside gentlemen.” You say strolling forward, hands spread out; ironically enough making you look like Boris Karloff in green makeup and in full rampage mode. “You don’t want to hurt a bunch of innocent people, do you?”“No, but none of us care much if it happens either.” Psimon replies, the chandelier ripping from the ceiling at this; debris trickling down from it near and on top of them.Psimon drags the chandelier above the thickest part of the crowd; the decorative model pumpkins, skulls, and witch heads grins taking on an ominous tone. The orange, white, and green lights bounce of the people’s faces making a collage of terror. They aren’t stupid and they have some sense, so they panic and try to run. The screams obviously completely drown out the music that had been pipped in from the speakers at the point. The chandelier beings splintering apart as Psimon’s mental forces ravage it. The steel and the decoration begin raining down on all over the crowd. People begin darting underneath the dinner tables and chairs, some even turning them over and carrying them like shields as they did so. Psimon’s face now bears a sadistic grin, teeth bared. His hand extends limply towards them and then closes into a fist. The entire thing begins to drop on them. It goes down faster than what gravity would bring it down, putting his own mojo into it’s descent. That smirk of his slightly faltered as the entire thing stopped a couple of feet from the still standing party goers fleeing and bounced into the air, crashing into Mammoth; the man just stands there as it crumbled against his powerful chest and snarls. “Well, to be honest, I didn’t think it’d be that easy.” Psimon says, as Rose pulls a small pistol from her garterbelt and fires off a couple of rounds towards the psychic. The bullets just float in the air near his head. “And I pretty much saw that coming as well. Let’s get started shall we.”>End

I love harem shit, but the complete ease with which Adam has created a polyamorous relationship prevents me from wanting to participate in this quest. He didn't earn it, in fact I'd say he handled his relationships horribly, but Raven and Harley are still with him. And almost every female villain and hero has wanted Adam by default, no effort required. It feels like this quest is on easy mode in every regard. Adam's powers grow so quickly, he's already stomping on heavyweights like Black Manta and Cheetah.
>>2619163We didn't stomp on Black Manta. We got lucky in that fight.
>>2619163The Manta fight was hard earned and everything else had to do with Crit successes. The harem shit...like I made that joke in quest? That was why Adam was made.
>>2619163Well we were genetically modified to be the perfect man. With the harem though, we all pretty much wanted raven but wound up getting harley as well cause of crazy rolls. I don't know how anons feel but im perfectly happy to stick with just these two.
>>2619185I'm up for plowing more, but as a relationship Raven and Harley is enough for me.Or just Raven, really.
>>2619185i wkuld rather just jeep Harley a d Raven. Heck i would be fine with just Raven, at least we can all agree that Adam's type is pretty girls/women with pale skin.Whoch mean we should watch ourselfs around Jinx.
>>2619335Adam's type is all women, technically.
You take Psimon up on his effort; you bolt towards him, jettisoning yourself like a bullet at them. You slide and zip past the strangling civilians in the crowd, avoiding some of them by less than an inch in many cases. You couldn’t just hear their screams; you could also feel their breath on your cheek. One woman who tripped over herself was sprawled right in front of them, blocking a straight path. Your anger was cool enough, that you didn’t register yourself as you leaped over her and found yourself a handful of feet from them.Dr. Light hands open and a burst of light fills the room. Bright and overpowering, your eyes shut for the briefest of moments involuntarily. You stop your momentum not wanting to crash into someone like Mammoth blindly, strangely you don’t pay for that. You open your eyes...and they’re gone without much of a trace. Just some of chunks of wood from the chandelier Psimon ripped out from the ceiling. “Gravitas over there.” Ravanger yells, gesturing far to your right. You glance over and see Mammoth tackling Cyborg through various catering tables; finger sandwiches and punch spilling all over the floor around them. Vic was desperately swatting him with one hand, while the other was trying to aim his blaster towards the giant metahuman’s skull. But all it amounted to was flailing, Mammoth’s might was too great, the floor ripping apart from pushing around Cyborg on it.Starfire was in the air, exchanging fire with Dr. Light. Each of their beams, her’s a green plasma and his pure white light, clashed with each other equally. Dr. Light was shouting some pretty derogatory and sexist slurs, while Starfire turned it in kind in her own language. Still each was in stalemate with one another.Nightwing was sinking into the ground, as the carpet and concrete into a mushy, squishy substance that reminded you of quicksand. Shimmer hand was touching the ground where you guesses it began, judging by the circumstances and the look on her face. Dick somehow got his hands through the goop and found a batarang he tossed at her. Right as it connected, it turned into snowflashes, only managing to blind the woman. You couldn’t see Psimon….>A.) You hop towards Shimmer, making yourself float in the air as not to give yourself away and check your surroundings. Last thing you wanted was for Psimon to pry into your mind. You had enough of that bullshit, you weren’t going through that again. Still despite spending a relatively good amount of time at a prime vantage point and having great vision, you see nothing. Far as you knew, he was gone. So you drop towards Shimmer.A terrible mistake honestly. As Shimmer finally gets the snow out of her eyes, her eyes fall on you first. Without missing a beat, her hand extends towards you, touching the air in front of you. Right in front of you, the clear air, becomes less translucent, replacing itself with a clear white. If the heat around you changed, you would have sworn the air in front of you froze. It felt like jumping into a wall, sure you’re strong enough to smash through it, but it hurts. More importantly, rushing through solid air slows you down and gives Shimmer more than enough time to dodge. As you fall onto the ground, Shimmer slides past you and slams her hand to the ground and turns it the same ‘quicksand’ that trapped Nightwing. You reach out with that other sense of your, manipulating another center of gravity behind Shimmer, onto a column behind her. There was enough gravitational pull on there to send her right through it. You don’t even try to fight the liquid concrete now climbing up to his belly. It would just distract you.Shimmer frowns as you go with the flow of her quicksand, no doubt as you standing still as a statue slows down how quickly you would sink. She’s about to put her second hand down on the ground, as the force from your little gravity point pulls her across the room. She barely has enough time to let out a little yelp before her body slams into the giant concrete pillars behind her. Sure enough, she’s sent with enough force for her body to cut right through it and then onto another catering table, where various dips and salsas pour all over her body. You create a weak gravity well right above Nightwing and you, not even enough for him or you to float into the air. It is enough to give you two the leverage to pull yourselves out of the hard muck. As you both swim to shore, you take a minute to catch your breathe, while Nightwing immediately gets up and checks his utility belt to see what’s still functioning. You turn to see Ravanger grabbing a large candlestick and hurl it at Mammoth, who was preoccupied grinding Cyborg’s head into the ground with his boot. As his back lit up like a candle from it, his foot grip got loose, as he began smothering his back with blows. You let Nightwing go on ahead, you take your time and look around. Psimon had to be here somewhere...and if you had to guess, he was being hidden by someone else. You felt what it was like to have someone else in your mind, and to cloak himself to create a psychological haze around himself he’d have to do that again, you didn’t feel anything like that in your mind. He had to have help. And there was someone else missing from view of the Fearsome Five. Jinx. You look around the crowd and finally determine that they were no longer part of it. You didn’t know why you’d say that, but you’d guess it was because the crowd was too chaotic still. Psimon and Jinx would part groups of them like the river to move around. So they had to be somewhere else, somewhere more private or on another floor of Titan’s Tower. You stretch your head up and analyze everything you see closely. For a moment you think about quitting and focusing on helping your team mates with Mammoth and Dr. Light. Then you see the door open on the third floor of it’s own violation. You recognize it right away, Beast Boy’s room. You fly up there like a rocket, reaching the invisible duo before the door has time to close. Your lack of subtly tips the two off and their cloak or whatever helped them remain hidden from the eye fades, as Jinx lets off a pink burst of energy into your chest. You bring up your force field and manage to neutralize it, but your sent flying off the third floor and above the lobby floor where the party you hoped you’d get to dance with Raven at, where you stayed thanks to the gravity well you set on yourself.“Well you caught us. What’s was step two of this? Let yourself become a puppet to H.I.V.E’s will yet again?” Psimon asks, hands now at his temples.Suddenly a gigantic black void in the shape of hawk smashed through the floor beneath the two of them. Sending Jinx sprawling into Beast Boy’s room and Psimon onto the ground below, one of Dr. Light’s clones managing to catch him before he hurt himself.“No, wait for me.” Raven says, flying up your side, her eyes crackling with dark sparks of the arcane. >End

“Cute.” Jinx says, picking herself up. Her eyes and hands following Raven’s lead, sparkling with what looked like pink electricity. While Raven’s looked wild and stormy, Jinx’s danced around her.Raven’s dark hawk zoomed out of her yet again, bee lining right towards Jinx. The pink haired witch just brought her hands up, letting out two puff of pink vapor; Raven’s void attack suddenly taking a hard 90 degree turn up in the air as she did so. Raven motioned her own hands up in the air, hoping to redirect it, downwards, only for Jinx to unleash a burst of pink energy shaped like the blade of a cutlass, with a graceful swipe of her left hand.Raven swung out of the way clumsily; she seemed to whiffed countering it given the gestures in her hands as she did so. She bobbed back and forth, Jinxing chuckling at the display as she gathered more power in her hands, a brilliant twirling swirl of bright light on each of hands and leading down to her elbows. You are about to charge her or use some of your gravity wells at her, but then out of the corner of your eye, you saw The abyss shaped raptor dive towards Jinx. The young girl, shielded herself with her hands at it threatened to slam into her. However briefly, a dim blue light emitted from her belt and the hawk shaped attack warped around and struck through the wall next to her.Down below you saw Mammoth and Psimon were now engaged with Miss Martian and Ravager; you didn’t like their odds honestly. You drop down, trusting Raven to handle her spat with Jinx. In the midst of all this chaos, Psimon and Miss Martian still motionless. Each one of them was entirely consumed in their mental battle with one another; they’re eyes even completely blank and unfocused. You land behind Psimon and not bothering to get any closer to the man than you needed to. You shift another center of gravity towards the wall and link it the albino man with the exposed skull, like you had with Shimmer. His head, was soaked with sweat and glistened like a diamond, soon found itself heading towards the barrier between the lobby and a press conference room Jupiter insisted building her despite almost no evidence the New York press or media would ever care about the Titans at the time.Right before impact, his eyes shot open and the crown of his head only lightly tapped the edge of the wall. “Naughty, naughty. Psimon says….AUUUHHHHHH”Miss Martian now advanced towards him, her eyes growing green. It was a menacing little jog if you had to be honest. No longer was she cut off from the world, trapped whatever planscape the two duked it out. She was still focused on him, but it was obvious from the care she took to get there efficently and avoid Mammoth’s gaze, she no longer needed to be so disconnected to maintain her leverage over Psimon now.>A.) While he is staggered and confused, you barrow towards him with your forearm extended. You are easily over a hundred miles per hour as you do this and he is merely a few feet away, but you could swear you see his eyes focus in on you in recognition; his mouth opening to mouth a curse or plead for mercy. You slam him into the wall with your arm’s strike, the wall buckling from the force he collides into it. You can feel the plaster and wood crack and split as his body runs right through it, the shock reverberates through your arm. It splatters into your face, as Psimon slides into the floor and the other side of the wall. You turn, only to find Miss Martian flying towards Mammoth, who himself cries out in pain from whatever she’s already doing to him, starting throwing tables and whatever else he could get his hands on at her. Ravager takes this opportunity to smash a chair across his thigh, though for no pay off or result whatsoever.Starfire is starting to falter under Dr. Light’s continued fire. The various clones are now landing almost half of their burst of light against her skin, burning her outfit into tatters. Korri is screaming in a mixture of rage and pain as she struggles to push back the assualt of light with her own plasma burst, but to no avail. One of Dr. Light’s clone’s eyes set on you, a smirk on his face. “So Gravitas you’re here? Good, the bitch was starting to bore me. Let’s see what’s stronger force of nature shall we? Gravationial forces or electromagnetic radiation?”He stands there waiting for you to move>A.) Without losing a beat, you immediately form a gravity point above Dr. Light and a mass of his clones. Even you feel the pull as you watch Starfire being dragged up to the ceiling, but the clones don’t budge whatsoever. All but one continues firing on Starfire with their energy blasts, as she floats higher and higher into the air, that one let’s loose a bright burst of light right into your chest. You feel yourself being thrown back into a concrete column and feel it disinterested into thousands of pieces as you are hurled through it. A cloud of white dust follows you as you follow, obstructing your view. But even with nothing but a white haze in front of your eyes, you notice it glow like a white dwarf for a brief instant.Another pulse of hard light slaps you across your face, you only being spared the full brunt of it from a mixture of poor aim on his part and your own instinctive drive to avoid being stuck in the dust blinding you. Still the spit flies right out of your mouth with that blow. You steady yourself as Dr. Light makes even more clones of himself, two flanking the image of him taunting you to be exact, and each extends his arms towards you like he was asking you to come dance with him. A bright white light glows at the point of their fingertips.>A.) Create a gravity field on one them and make them all collide into one another.>B.) You push at the all the clones with your gravity powers, creating a somewhat weak but widespread force that would effect everything in the direction Dr. Light is in. The dust near you, blows towards him. It wouldn’t knock him down, but it should have at least buckled him.But it didn’t, not a single one. At least at first. Each and every single one of the Dr. Light clones keeps it’s signature smug look on his face, the man who thinks he’s now longer competing with someone but instead humoring one of them. The one of the holograms or clones, shakes and glitches a bit. In between two of them a translucent human sized shape knocks into the light, breaking it up if only for a bit.All the clones scream with anger and fire at you. You quickly bring up a force field around yourself while still emitting that push. Each blow rings off your gravity fixture you created to propel attacks away from yourself, but two or three bursts push through, not managing to land anything close to a direct hit on you, but managing to fray you on the arms and legs a tiny bit. You know eventually he’s either going to get lucky or yours is going to run out though. At least until a green plasma burst slams down Dr. Light onto the floor, leaving a small crater where he lay. Though to his credit, he managed to get up and get into another stance facing you and Starfire.“We got what we came for, or at least most of it, let’s get our asses out of here!!” Shimmer yells. You look down to see her, a heavily wounded Jinx, and her hulking brother Mammoth who was carrying Cyborg, Ravager, and Miss Martian, and a short red bearded man bolt out of there with them. You and Starfire let loose bursts of energy only to hit nothing as you hear a familiar tune and see a flash of light.BOOOOOOOMMMMMMAnd then, all but Psimon were gone.>End.
>>2622447Thx for running. Im guessing blood wants to start his judas contract ritual. He has less captured titains than in cannon though.
>>2622447Thanks for running, Man.
>>2622470Yes, but it's not over yet. The Titans are going to be picked off one by one.
The exact sequence of events that happened because it will be near impossible to find out what happened IC and doesn't matter anymore.>A.) Terra contacted Beast Boy at the party and pretended to be mad that he was dancing with another girl. She guilted/seduced him going to the control room where they could make out. She knocked him out and turned off security. And stole some stuff.>B.) Psimon and Jinx wanted something important in Beast Boy's room. What it is...you can still figure out and is important, so you're not getting it here.>C.) Pretty much the villains were playing keep away with you and Starfire as you're the most powerful members. They wanted to take down as many Titans at once at one play, especially stealth experts while they could.>D.) They made a huge mistake taking Rose.
