Hey y'all. If you couldn't tell, this quest will be taking place in the well known DC Comics universe. Here there be gods and monsters, magicians and aliens, and even a clown or two. But bear in mind that due to various time travel related and or multiversal shenanigans, the DC world is ridiculously complex as a whole. So I'll be running a very streamlined version of it. And to be up front about it, it will likely be shaped by my own likes, dislikes, and biases.Oh, and aforementioned shenanigans won't be making an appearance.Mostly.>The RulesI will write up the life of our young hero Morgan Barrett, a high school student who has just truly begun his career as a superhero in Gotham City as Gray Ghost, you will be given prompts to direct him. Some things will require a dice roll to determine success or failure or something else entirely. Write In's are absolutely encouraged but I reserve the right to torpedo anything. The voting period will last 20 minutes after the prompts are given. I will then announce the voting closed and write up the chosen response.>The DiceWe will be using 1d100 ninety percent of the time here. Best of three. We might use something else when applicable. I'll be running with a loose sort of degrees of success/failure thing here so no real DCs.>The Pastebinhttps://pastebin.com/hUhuBkxcHere's where the info on mechanics are, along with a chart of your current social links.>The Twitterhttps://twitter.com/SleepyQMFollow me here for updates on runtimes and whatnot.>The Archiveshttp://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?tags=SleepyQMHere's the collection of past threads. >>2423173You don't believe this. It's been a matter of hours since you've seen the damn dirty ape's face but here he is. Decades later and looking about a hundred years older. You weren't aware gorilla's aged like this. His hair is all white grey and his face is even wrinkled. And you're pretty sure he just made some sort of attempt at humor? What the fuck are you supposed to say to this?"Speechless, eh?" The huge gorilla scratches at one of his many scars and chuckles, it sounds more like some shaking gravel in a plastic jar than laughter. "I thought for a long time what I would say to the human who broke my spirit when I saw him again. I must say, I'm essentially at a loss as well!"Doing your best to shake it off, you decide to start at the most logical next step. He's not attacking you or screaming about putting humans in their place or whatever. So that must mean that despite the fact the Roy just lead you to the last villain you fought, you're not here to fight. "Okay, let's just- start at the beginning. "What the fuck are we doing here? You're not about to try and shove me into some kind of specially made death trap are you?""Hmm, I'd be lying if I said I hadn't considered that. But that was a long time ago. Come, Roy brought you here for the very reason he told you, to return you to the past." Grodd starts walking on all fours deeper in the lab and you all follow him, half in a daze. You're exhausted, and meeting with ex-supervillains isn't doing you any favors."Morgan, I am now going to try to make a very long story very brief. So bear with me. After you defeated me so soundly, in a realm where I assumed I reigned supreme, I thought only of your defeat for years. My clashes with the Flash became less and less frequent until my thoughts were consumed with fantasies of tasting your brain in victory." Roy sighs. "Grodd, you gotta try harder to speed this up. And what did I tell you about the whole brain-eating nonsense?""Yes, my apologies. Anyhow. The important thing is that your victory over me, and my inability to prove myself your better interfered with my psionic abilities. They became worthless. And without them, I was forced to look at myself and my people through the eyes of others." He stops, coming up to a huge machine, similar looking to the one he was making in your time. Much smaller though. He lays a hand on it, looking almost nostalgic. "It was then I realized what a fool I've been. And when the Human Succession War began, it was only thanks to the Justice League, to humans, that my people survived."You look at Roy upon hearing the words Human Succession War and he just shakes his head. Dark look on his face. "It was then I had an epiphany, my abilities returned, more powerful than ever. And with it, my meager connection to the speedforce. I believe I was uniquely qualified to see you coming. And I was able to calculate where and when Roy would encounter you, and he went to bring you here, now.">Continued
>>2423174"Grodd and I have been planning this for the last several years. I found him out here using his powers to bamboozle the New Humans and steal their equipment and other shit. This war has taken a lot from more people than I care to think about. But with you here, we can change all that." Roy bangs his metal fist on Grodd's 'throne'. "We call this baby the Speed Machine. Well, I do. And it's gonna get you back home, and fix this hellhole."Terry steps forward, having been silent nearly the whole time. "What do you mean fix?"Roy shrugs. "What do you think? You know you can't send someone back in time like this without consequences. We send him back and, according to Grodd, one of two things happen. Either everything changes at once and this never happened, or we're all sitting around here like a bunch of assholes. Personally, I'm hoping for the first.">"Yo, can we be a little less casual when talking about erasing timelines?">"Why do you think sending me back will change so much?">"But Grodd, there's no guarantee that you'll turn out the same way if I go back.">"Are you sure? Also with Zoom i bet we could just say that flash was going to be in the place and wouldn't be expecting him to make him bring us there. And if he tried to keep us stuck we used Grodd stick to sap Zoom cobnection to the speed force. So whatever he dropped us he would be stuck with us to.

How can you guys be so calm about this shit?" "Like I said, man. We been working on this for years. I made my peace with what could happen the moment I started helping Grodd." Roy walks up to a wall panel holding all kinds of high tech gear and begins restocking. His 'arsenal'.Grodd nods, looking more sincere than you ever thought the ape was capable of. "Indeed. I am full prepared to deal with the effects of meddling in the flow of time. There's a very good chance I will turn out for the worst. But what we do is less for ourselves, and more for the world.""Speak for yourself Kong. I'm doing this for Lian. I'd rather she never be born at all than live in a world like this. It's harsh, but it's the truth." He finishes refilling his stock and pats the 'Speed Machine'. "So I'm banking on Grodd and his machine. And you, of course.""Right, which leads me to a very important question. Why do you think sending me back will change so much? I guess what I'm tryin' to say is, is there something I should know?" Roy and Grodd share a look, one that you can't really decipher. "C'mon guys, I know the whole future knowledge thing is a sensitive issue but I should at least know enough to make a difference, right?""I'm gonna let you field this one while I set the bait." Roy hops up a nearby ladder to the top floor of the structure and begins fiddling with some huge device in the center of the ceiling, like a bigass dynamo.>Continued
>>2423313"Morgan. I've given much thought to what information you can be given before it begins to influence your actions negatively. So I'll tell you this. There will be a point where someone close to you becomes someone else entirely. This will be the catalyst for world altering events. Even change like the one this individual went through does not occur overnight. Search for the signs, unusual happenings, examine the people you trust. Like I mentioned before, even with my meager connection to the Speed Force, I can see what surrounds you. Returning you to the past will have a profound effect on the future. I know it."You're really not sure what to say to all of that. This is like when the team of spies learn there's a mole on the team. But not a really a mole? A mole that doesn't know they're a mole? Whatever. "Shit. Well if you wanted to make me paranoid, you succeeded." Grodd laughs again, hand on his big belly. "No no, paranoia will only cloud your judgement. Simply be observant. And I am also not saying you can change the future alone. No one can. Let your allies help you."A smile forms on your face. "You really don't mind this Grodd. It's impossible to say if he'll turn out like this still. But you hope he does. "Oh, what was Roy saying about bait?""Well, the Speed Machine still requires a power source. MY connection to the Speed Force is too weak, and the first time I activated this machine. I used the residual energies the Flash left all around Central City to activate it. There's no similar location sufficiently laden in Speed Force energies to do that again. So we'll need to lure Zoom here, and either convince him to help. Or trick him into providing power to the machine." >"Tell me about this Zoom guy. All I know is he's a speedster with an apparently bad attitude.">"Yo Roy, who's Lian? I believe that he can be convinced""Sure, but- who is he? And if we need this guy. I'm assuming Flash is no longer with us. And... Wally?" Grodd looks to Roy, seemingly at a loss. He climbs back down and removes his mask, showing you his tired eyes. "Zoom is Wally, Morgan.""No, you're fucking with me. The kid with the bad jokes and bottomless stomach? No way." But the look on his face tells you before he even has to say it. He's not."Listen, some years after you disappeared, something happened to Flash. We still don't know the details. But he was killed. And Wally took it the worst. Honestly, I'm not too different from him. We've both been out here fighting. But he does it out of hatred. The bodies he leaves behind..." Roy shakes off the memory and throws a lever, causing the hum of electrical power to flow through the place. "He's a different person now. We don't really know him anymore. Whether or not he's willing to help is completely up in the air.""Not to mention that a Speedster like him? Even if I threw everything in my armory at him I'd come up short. This is a real gamble But one we have to make."Everyone's quiet after Roy explains the reality of this to you. But Batman hasn't said a damn word in a while. What's going through Terry's head? "But I'm sure Bruce knew all along.""Does that mean we can count on you to run interference?" You don't blame him for having to take a minute. The only reason you're still standing is the simple fact that you'll never see your mom, your home ever again if you stop."I'm here aren't I? If pulling this off means no war then that means a lot of deaths can be avoided. And I wouldn't be a very good Batman if I didn't try to save people, would I?""True enough." So then, that leaves one more question."Yo Roy, who's Lian? Must be special if you're doing this for her."He just grins and reaches in his belt, out a small object and tosses it to you. You catch it and seems like a small panel of glass, not unlike the 'phone' you borrowed from the drunk guy in Amusement Mile. At one touch, it reveals a photo taken of Roy, standing alongside a young woman with dark hair. Wearing a suit similar his, red bow slung over her shoulder. "My little girl. Not so little now, a bit older than you.""Wow. Roy, that's- that's great man. Who's her mom?""Not so fast Barrett. I'd tell you but just you knowing could muck things up. >>2423511Roy and Grodd do several more checks before turning on the machine hanging above you. The bait. And it looks like you were right. Grodd explained it as them creating just a little bit of Speed Force energy to grab his attention. It's only on for minutes when Grodd let's you all know he's coming. He doesn't even need any sort of sensors or anything. He can simply feel him. Then he finally shows. From where you're sitting, you can see the one and only entrance and exit to the place. And he doesn't break in, and he doesn't knock, no.The first sign of him is a yellow hand reaching through the door, not breaking through, just moving straight through it.Then comes another hand, one foot. It occurs to me that morgan could win vs a superior foe by climbing into their lungs and just blocking their breathing till they conked out. Something folks should look at.Also we should have asked Grodd to put a message in our brain for old him. Dude wont believe us when we talk to him about how he turned out, but a message from a future him? Would greatly help, or at least stop the ape from trying to eat our brains.

I like the new threads, though I don't think the whole wrath of god thing suits you. Why the change, Zoom?"He doesn't respond right away. He looks at you, sometimes through you. Like if he looks away you'll disappear. "We all had to change when the first war began. I became Zoom when I lost Barry, The Flash. When he came to me." He spaces out for a moment before coming back. "I sensed you through the Speed Force when you arrived. But part of me didn't want to believe."So we did lose Flash. "Why not? I'm here. I'm real. Now all there's left to do is send me back where I belong. And we were hoping you'd help with that." Your eyes trail up to highest floor. Roy moves just out of sight. He's staying at the ready in case this goes wrong.Grodd is standing next to you on the throne shock still. You only realize it now, but you think he's afraid of him. He flinches when Wally looks his way. "So you're doing what I've been afraid to do for over twenty years..."You're not sure what's going through your friends head as he watches you with those eyes. Those eyes move from you, to Grodd, to other corners of the room. You get the impression that he knows there's someone else in here. "Zoom. Wallace. I know I have no right to speak on this but- I've been re-connected to the Speed Force since we last met. And if I can feel this, you must know it in your core. We must do this."For just a moment. For the barest second. You think he's going to kill Grodd. You can feel the bloodthirst. Like it's just in the air. But it's gone jsut as fast. The blood red lightning surrounding him dissipates. And you see just a hint of the eyes of the happy-go-lucky teen. "What do you need me to do?"The half-ton gorilla next to you breathes a hard and heavy sigh of relief and fiddles with a panel on the throne. Making to prongs pop out of what would be arm rests if the thing was actually some kind of chair. "These will act as conduits for your energy. I believe that the Speed Force will 'remember' Morgan. And that if we put your intention behind the power. We can easily send him back to the same point."Grodd then asks you to both take hold of the prongs and to not let go. Batman and Roy emerge from their hiding spots. Wally doesn't seem surprised in the least. When instructed, Zoom begins to pump energy into the prongs. It feels incredibly strange when the energy hits you, like what you experienced with the lightning but gradual instead of all in an instant.>Continued
>>2423820The lightning coming off of Wally soon goes from a deep red to a familiar gold and Grodd stands back from the machine with Terry and Roy. "This is it. Once we reach the energy threshold, Morgan should be transported instantly. Gentleman, no matter what happens next. I believe now is the time to say whatever you feel you need to say."Roy is the first to speak up. He's the same in that regard to your time. "I just wanna say, do what you gotta do to keep your friends. Your loved ones. Other than that? I look forward to getting to know you. See you on the other side."Terry steps up. "This is definitely the strangest thing I've ever done as Batman. No matter how this turns out, look me up in the future. If anything, we can give the old man a hard time. Good luck, Morgan."You look to Grodd, he's clearly struggling to find anything to say to you. But you've got an idea. Maybe you're not the one he needs to speak to. "Grodd, is there any way for you to leave a message with me for your past self. I know this is kind of against the rules but, I can't lie. I like this version of you much more."He thinks for a moment. Racking his brain so he can respond before the machine is done charging up. "I do believe I have an idea." His eyes, flash for just a moment and you feel something. Something in the back of your head, in your mind. "I've left a message. Not a literal one, but a psionic one. If myself from your time attempts to connect to your mind at all, he will receive it. I can't say how I will react but, it's the best I can do.""Thanks Grodd. This is so friggin strange but thank you." Almost on cue, the Speed Machine's hum reaches a fever pitch. Zoom's grunting with effort, throwing all of his energy into the machine. You can feel it in you too. You couldn't stand up from this chair now if you wanted to.You're practically forced to look Zoom in the eye as you start to move from this timeline. "I'll only say this, Morgan. When the time comes. No matter who stands in your way. Don't hesitate. All it takes is one moment. Everything you care about can be gone in a flash.">Continued

>>2424123"Y'know what? I'll take it. I'll be in enough trouble when my mom sees me lookin' like I lost a fight with several blenders." Everyone shares a laugh at your expense now. Even you. But you weren't joking, you're gonna have to wear gloves for a month or something if you don't want her to see these shredded knuckles."So, what happens now?" Robin asks. "The monkey and the ice queen are both taking a nap." "Standard procedure for metahuman and non-human criminals." Batman rattles off."Wait for secure containment by authorities. Got it." Robin finishes. Thankfully, it doesn't take long for several large vehicles carrying the Belle Reve emblem and name to arrive. Batman and Flash get to talking with someone who looks like the man in charge while your friends help the rank and file get Grodd and Frost locked down. Damn, you almost forgot. You limp up to where they're holding Grodd for transport. A huge black van, with hydraulic restraints and a containment unit that needs no guard to ride with him in the back. The gorilla is barely awake when you approach but he still growls at you. It's enough for the guys that just restrained him to make themselves scarce. "Come to gloat, human?""Not exactly, I just have something to pass on. Go on, read me." Hmm, that's probably not enough. "If you think you still can." He takes the bait, snarling as his mind touches yours. Then reels back instantly. You didn't get so much as a glimpse of what in the message. But you think he gets the idea."No. No, I will not believe it!" He feebly shakes in his restraints but they press down harder back on him in response."C'mon Grodd. You can believe it. After all, why would you lie to yourself?" You leave Grodd with his thoughts. And his grumbling. Though the yellow of Kid Flash's suit is the first thing you see when you turn. "What the heck did you do to him? Grodd NEVER shuts up.""Honestly? I'm hoping I helped him. Fill you in later." Wally accepts it you both return to your friends. Looks like Robin is having a talk with Batman while the rest of the team talks with Flash. They're standing around an unconscious Killer Frost. You look between Flash and your friends. "Any reason we haven't out her in a nice cozy portable cell yet?">Continued
>>2424237Flash nods. "A few, actually. Her powers are growing at an unstable rate and Batman and I are afraid she'll be a bit much for Belle Reve to handle. Then there's the matter of whether or not she actually belongs there." "She helped a supervillain who was trying to achieve some level of pseudo godhood. I know that's probably technically not illegal in itself but I'm sure she at least jaywalked during the whole ordeal, lock her up." "It's not so simple, Ghost. I've run into her before on the job. And she's always spoken of her criminal activities like she doesn't have a choice. There's too much we don't know, and she dangerous. So it seems we'll be taking her to the Watchtower." Flash hikes her up over his shoulders and flashes a winning smile, and a quick nod to KF, before zooming off.Huh. Well, guess that's that then. And just on cue. Batman and Robin approach. "Guys. We've got big news. Like, the biggest news for the Titans yet. I'll let Bats take it."Given the floor, Batman proceeds smoothly. "I and the rest of the Justice League were going to wait to tell you this until we called a meeting. But in light of your recent success, it can't hurt to let you in on the secret early." If he didn't already, now he has everyone's attention. "The League was thinking of sponsoring a team. Officially. A young team of rookies. Legitimize them. And to do that, you'd need a base to call your own. A place that connects you to the people you swear to protect. We have the Hall of Justice-"Robin, who seemingly just can't contain himself anymore, butts in. "And so I was thinking the perfect name for ours would be, Titan's Tower!"He displays a holographic image from his gauntlet. A large tower off of a small island. The tower has a vague T shape to it. And it just feel right when you look at it. Only one word can describe how you feel. "Shway.">End of Session

Titan's Tower. A vaguely T- shaped tower of steel and glass seated on a small island off the East River of Manhattan. You're going to go see it today. It's been about a week since since the battle with Grodd. You all decided to chill for a while after that mission. Alfred patched you up best he could before you went home but mom still wasn't happy. You told her a half truth, or maybe it's more like a quarter truth? Anyhow, you told her you got into a fight with some street toughs on the way to the bus from the Gym, and Ted helped you fight em off and used his old army aid skills to help you out.She bought it, and you had to call Ted and ask him to lie for you to complete it, but she's not suspicious and that's what's important. You told her you were hanging with Dick today, again, not a total lie but you're starting to realize that you're going to have to keep telling lies. Right now, the two of you are following Dinah as she leads you down an alley not too far from the gym. It's a cold October morning in Gotham. Your breath trails out visibly as you walk and try to ignore the itching of all the healing cuts on your bandaged knuckles. Dick looks right at home in his GA letterman jacket. You forgot he's on the gymnastics team. How he has time for shit else is something you simply don't have an answer for. "Can you believe this?""Huh? Y'mean like, what? That it's real? Our own base?" You pull your hood down further, protecting your cheeks from the wind."Exactly. It took a year just to convince Bruce to let me start this team. Heck, in the end. I don't even think I was the one who convinced him." But despite thinking that, he only looks nostalgic. "You know what this means though, right? They believe in us. Enough to let us be public and have a base of our own. And that's pretty awesome.""You're tellin' me, man. This time last year I thought I was gonna be spending half my time raking leaves and stockpiling cheap candy. Well, I'm still doing that." Sharing a nice laugh you turn the corner one more time and Dinah walks up to a broken down phone booth. The thing looks like it was forgotten by the 1990's.She knocks a fist against the glass and smiles a knowing smile. "Here's our ride boys."You look the thing up and down, failing to see anything on the exterior. "Lemme guess, elevator to an underground bullet train.""Hmm, points for creativity but that would be inefficient as all hell, even for Bruce's wallet. No, think of it as a teleporter. We're all gonna step inside, stand as still as possible and repeat after me...">Continued

Welcome.]When you emerge on the other end of your journey through space, you're in a large room with a big round table in the center. One look behind you shows some kind of large machinery that you can't make heads or tails of with just a glance. Dinah leans on the round table, sliding a finger across it's glass surface to show some kind of display. "Here we are, Titan's Tower. And this is your debriefing room. You'll go over your missions here and it also has a quick access elevator to your garage."A low beep sounds off from Dinah's watch. "Oh, and look it looks like the others will be here in just a second."Before you or Dick can say another word, the machinery behind you lights up.[JL 007 Martian Manhunter, Titan 003 Speedy, Titan 006 Artemis. Transfer complete. Welcome.]Three new people emerge from the light, two familiar. One not so much. A tall dark skinned man in a suit and rain dusted trench coat leads in front of your two friends. He removes his hat and smiles. "Dinah. It's been a while.""Too long J'onn." She greets him with a hug he returns, albeit a little awkwardly. "I thought you would swing by home while you were away, that was the longest off-world mission to date for the League.""No no. M'gann is a bit of a handful. I wanted to get back to her as soon as possible." So this is Martian Manhunter. You've seen him all green on tv before, this must be his civvie 'identity'. You're not sure what you were expecting. His name paints a certain picture but after knowing M'gann it'd be hard to see Martians as intimidating."You big softie." She elbows him playfully before moving on to the two archers. "Roy, how've you been? Looking forward to the tour?""Looking forward to having a better place to crash, I can tell you that much." Then you notice the two large dufflebags he's got slung over his shoulders.Dinah looks uncomfortable. Maybe more uncomfortable than you've seen her, but doesn't say anything else. "How'd it go, Artemis?"She sighs, irritated look on her face. "You know him, Ollie is doing his whole. 'Stubborn on principle' thing now. You talk to him.">Continued
>>2427919You all exchange your greetings and start chatting amongst yourselves while waiting for Donna and Kaldur. And you're curious. "Roy, Blondie, what's goin on? I thought it was weird when you said that you'd get to the Tower on your own."Artemis starts to say something but she takes one look at Roy and just shakes her head. "Ollie and Dinah are going through something right now,and she wanted me to go see him. Martian Manhunter had to pick up Roy in Star City anyway so I just tagged along.""Roy, you okay buddy? You look tired." Dick peeks under his baseball cap and all you see are reddish hooded eyes. "Yeah, like you said, just tired. I haven't been sleeping good. But having my own room here is gonna change that." You hear a little more of that trademark boldness come back in his voice and you're less worried.[Titan 002 Aqualad, Titan 004 Wondergirl. Transfer complete. Welcome.]When your last two friends arrive you can't help but raise an eyebrow. You've never seen Donna in casual wear before but it highlights the fact that she's an amazon. Seeing a highschool age girl in normal clothes tower over everyone else on the team but you and Kaldur. And him. Man, you wouldn't exactly call yourself fashion forward but your friend could use a tip or two. He's in the plainest, most unassuming outfit you've ever seen. Wearing a high collared jacket, presumably to hide his gills.Donna comes and greets the group with a bear hug. Which prompts Kaldur to scold her. "Be careful, Morgan is still healing.""Oh I'm certain our triumphant brother can handle a greeting!" "Nope. I'm gonna have to tap out, Donna." You tap her on her bicep and laughs, dropping you and the four other teens she was carrying. Dinah claps her hand together, getting everyone's attention. "Okay, now that everyone's here. >>2428027There's a low murmur as everyone quickly discusses how they want to about this. But you quickly come to a consensus. Dick clears his throat, and speaks for the group. "Grand tour, please.""And then we goof off." Artemis adds. You scratch absentmindedly at your wrapped fingers. "I need a good grasp of my surroundings before I can effectively goof off. There's technique involved here." Dinah just laughs of course. "Alright, c'mon kids. We'll start at the bottom." You all follow her to a big elevator and make your way up, actually. The elevator dings and you all spill out onto the first floor. There's not much here. It mostly just looks like a modern waiting area. "This is the main hall. It's not much to look at right now. But that's only because you're not open to the public like the Hall of Justice. Not yet anyway."For now you just take it all in. If there's an equivalent to new car smell for buildings then this place has it. Very fresh. You even spot one of those robot vacuum cleaners quietly sweeping the floor automatically. There's even a reception desk. Nothing on it but some boxes that read Kord Industries on them though.Piling back on the elevator, Dinah selects the next stop and you all arrive on the fourth floor. "This here is your training hall. Everything you could ask for regarding physical training can be found in here. And Kaldur, Donna. You'll be happy to know that the machines in here have been tested by Diana herself. They can handle all you've got."Your two bruisers look happy. And you see a somewhat rare full smile on Kaldur's face when Dinah presses a couple buttons on a wall panel and the floor splits open to reveal an olympic sized swimming pool. That's apparently also twenty feet deep. She goes through the different settings that you can set up, there's a shooting range, a massive weight lifting system, an obstacle course with over a thousand configurations, and Dinah even shows off a training bot that can mimic fighting styles. Then we head back down to the garage. It's huge, there's honestly more space than you even know what you could do with. There's a couple things already here. A red bike, similar to Blondie's. Must be Roy's. And a unicycle? A motorcycle? A motorcycle with one wheel? Calling it a unicycle just feels lame. "That's one of mine." Dick says, a look of smug pride on his face. "It's experimental. Looks a little goofy but the gyro tech makes it essentially impossible to knock over."Dinah begins to lead you all back to the elevator for the next part of your tour. "You all should also feel free to store anything that takes up a lot of space in here. Oh, and Donna. Your, um- plane. Arrived and sat itself on the roof before you arrived. We'll take it in the hangar later.""We have a hangar?" Kaldur says, a little bit of wonder creeping into his voice."A small one." >Continued
>>2428195Next your arrive on the top floor. You all come out onto carpeted floors into a hallway with three ways to go. Forward, into what looks like some kind of living area. And left and right, down halls lined with doors. "And the top floor is all yours, personally. It's where the living area and all of your rooms are located. "Roy takes one look into a room close to the elevator and tosses his dufflebags in before rejoining the group. "Eh, close to the kitchen is all I need."And it is. There's a kitchen, a HUGE tv, the biggest couch you've ever seen and a sound system that goes through the whole tower. "Soooo, anyone else besides Roy moving in?" You're curious, and besides. If the Titans live here than you'll actually be able to see Kaldur, Donna, and Roy outside of missions. Your atlantean friend nods. "Yes. I do believe I'll be staying here. I won't be far away if the King wishes me to attend a mission with him. And, it would be good to spend some more time on the surface." Donna nods in the affirmative as well. "Indeed. I tire of moving back and forth between the island and here. Not to mention Diana is never home at her domicile in Washington. One would think she forgot it is even there." Dinah clears her throat to get everyone's attention. "And that concludes the tour, the most important parts of the tower, anyhow. But before you get too far ahead of yourselves, you should know something. Most League members were a little concerned about letting teenagers live and operate completely unsupervised.""So, we have volunteered to oversee your activities, in a way. More of a chaperone, really." MM says, putting his hat back on."But don't worry. You'll still operate on your own. We're just here as a little supervision." Roy says something under his breath, but you don't quite catch it. "That being said, J'onn and I have business in Star City. So... welcome to Titan's Tower. Have fun."Everyone releases a sigh of relief when the two vet heroes disappear in the elevator. Then you all split up, exploring the living area for yourselves. Roy, Artemis, and Donna head straight for the kitchen. While you, Kaldur, and Dick plop on the couch to test out the tv. "Okay, okay. Guys. You know what this means?" Roy suddenly asks. All he gets are blank stares in return. "C'mon, we gotta break this place in! Have some fun."Donna swallows her second helping of the huge breakfast sandwiches Roy was whipping up and raises her hand like she's in a classroom. "OR. And since then, she's done some training with Martian Manhunter. But this is a team, and we don't do these kinds of things without a vote. So, I'll opposed to M'gann joining with the Teen Titans?"You take a quick look around the room. Everyone's arms are down. "And all for?" Everyone's arms go up. "That's what I thought. Okay, then Morgan's right. Today will be our welcoming celebration for M'gann."----The martian girl was overjoyed when you called her over. You approach the game and get a good look at it while the man in front of you tries his luck. He's handed a rubber covered sledgehammer by an employee playing the part of your classic strong-man. Bald head, handlebar mustache, huge muscles, stretchy and all-too-tight weight lifting gear. The works. When the guy goes to life he underestimates the weight and has to take a step back, but still hefts the thing over his shoulder with ease. He takes a moment to aim, as whiffing the button while his who you assume is his girlfriend watches would suck. Then he slams the thing as hard as he can. He's a fairly built guy. Older than you. And he get's the metal weight about halfway up. which apparently marks the 'Real Man' score. The mustachioed strong-man congratulates him and gives him a mid-tier prize and he and his girl are on their way. "Ah! Care to test your strength young man? I'm sure a strapping lad like you can beat that last score? Whaddya say?""Oh, I'm in." You flash him the all day pass Dick paid for and take the hammer from his hands. It's actually a bit lighter than you anticipated. It's not the most well balanced but your not fighting evil with it so what do you care? >>2428720A broken wrist or a broken heart, depending on if any of the girls were watching.
>>2428680Naw, where's the fun in that? You'd rather win it with the muscle you built. Ted would pop you one if he knew you cheated like that. So you swing, throwing your weight into you shoulders and bringing the hammer down hard. The strong-man's bushy eyebrows shoot up as he watches the metal peg shoot up and up and up and smack against the bell at the top.The whole damn things starts lightning up when it hits, and it spits out a blast of confetti onto you. The top flashes with your earned rank 'HE-MAN' in bright yellow lights. You lean on the hammer, satisfied you got that score with your strength alone. "So, what do I win?"The strong-man seems somewhat at a loss. He points to a rack of prizes. "You um, you get your pick of grand prizes."Hmm, you look over the prizes and they aren't bad at all. A brand new expensive tablet. A huge championship belt that reads, strongest man on Coney Island (not sold in stores), and the biggest damn stuffed dolphin you've ever seen.>Tablet. All of your shit is old and busted.>Belt. Bragging rights reign supreme.>Stuffed dolphin?
>>2428720You would've whiffed it hard, in a most assuredly embarrassing way. In front of girls
>>2428770>>Stuffed dolphin?Maybe a gift for Artemis?If no then:>Belt.
>>2428770>>Tablet. All of your shit is old and busted.
>>2428770>>Stuffed dolphin?For Meg.

>>2428828Something inside you tells you you'll regret it for the rest of your life if you don't get that belt. You pull it off the rack and slap it on around your waist, tightening it until it's secure. "Please, hold your applause. I know it's the most amazing thing you've ever seen."Artemis observes with a smirk. "It's definitely something. C'mon, I think I see the ring toss up ahead. Got my first goldfish from one of those when I was little."You fall in line between Roy and Dick, Kaldur behind you three. The girls are up front, M'gann has her arms wrapped around Artemis' and Donna's on either side of her, like she does. And they're all giggling about something or other. Roy leans in just a bit, his voice just low enough to not be heard over the buzz of the crowd. "Thought you woulda went for the stuffed animal, man.""When I had this up for grabs?" You point both thumbs down to your belt, shining in the midday sun. "Not a chance.""C'mon man, you know what I'm talking about. Give the prize to the girl, easy brownie points." Roy grins cheekily. "I mean, I get it if your not into girls."You flick the bill of his cap, causing him to slap his head down on top of his head to keep it on. "What're you my mom? Just cuz I'm not drooling doesn't mean I'm not interested." "Oh yeah? Then which one is your type?" Roy gestures to the girls. "They're all pretty different from each other. Share with the class, Morgan."You look at Dick, wondering if he's going along with this. He shrugs. "Can't say I'm not curious."Lastly, your stoic atlantean friend. "Even you, Kaldur?"He just smiles, similarly to Roy's wolfish grin. "I do believe this is just a part of male bonding."Damn. They're really gonna make you say it huh? Which one is your type?>M'gann>Artemis>Donna>None of them, really>Nuh uh, I'm not playing this game.
>>2428919to be clear i am not going for harem, i just cant decide between the two>>2428922the odd one out
>>2428914>Artemisthen>DonnaM'ganns cute but ide shoot myself if i had to sit through the tv stuff she watches, the other two are cool, physically fit and easy to get on with, but we click with artemis more, which may just be because weve been around her longer.
>>2428926if she is close to her young justice version she has some big secrets and a whole nother personality
>>2428928Still badass and blonde.
>>2428938no i meant mgann, artemis is absolutely fine for me
>>2428914>>DonnaJust cause no one else voted for her
>>2428914Artemis(but Frosty to, she's cool.)
>>2428914>DonnaI like all three but goddamn does Donna scratched single fucking itch I have and then some.

This is good. A healthy amount of votes for M'gannA surprising amount of support for Donna. And a few Killer Frost fans screaming from the stands.Cool.
>>2428984I agree but we haven't really gotten to know her as much as artemis. Adventures in amazon land with donna when?
>>2429021i wouldnt mind that, as long as the amazons allow us on the island with our balls intact
>>2429018>a few killer frost fans >literally just me T-thanks
is it wrong that I want a scene where Morgan yells to the havens for more dangers women in his life
>>2429018>CoolNice one.>>2429036>>2428944Yo Anon.
>>2429029>with our balls intactNaw they don't do that kinda stuff. In fact, they'd probably view you with less suspicion since you're still young.>>2429036I know someone else mentioned her. You were the only actual vote though, you're right.
>>2429052it was mostly an exageration, but as far as I know the dont let men on the island except for rare cases: batman, sups, flash? and so oni guess we would have donna vouching for us, but ...
>>2429072On some versions, men can't even step on the island without everyone living there losing their powers.Honesty it's up toe Sleepy to decide how Paradise Island will react to the presence of a male.
>>2429102So it could turn any male on the island into a woman until they leave? That'd be a fun session in the future.
>>2429109that would be some big magic, but possible, the question is who would do the spell?my bet would be on Fate, the reason would be really contrived i would guess
>>2429109i just thought about it, ghosting up, being a cloud and trying to get us together, but as a woman the proportions are all off could be fun
>>2429109No, it just drains the Amazons of their blessings and leave them weak. Men are not suppose to be on the island, at all.
>>2429140Well in the end it's up to Sleepy how the island will react to dudes.
>>2429018"Hmm, okay fine. I'll play along, but you guys have gotta spill the beans too, got it?" A round of affirmative grunts go by and you take a moment to think. M'gann is cute. Very cute. Cute is her thing, really. Her sunny personality is so infectious that you find yourself smiling more just being around her. And she's got a surprising heroic streak to her. She felt a sort of call to arms after she settled in on earth. You gotta respect that. She coulda treated this like a vacation, but she wants to help her new home. And Donna, you haven't gotten much time with her but you like what you've seen so far. She's pretty much everything you could've expected from an amazon. She's bold and beautiful and pours enthusiasm into everything she does. And her confidence, you'd swear that there isn't a goddamn thing she couldn't pull off. And she extends that confidence to her teammates. But then there's Artemis. Your first real friend in Gotham. Hell, your first real friend since, forever? She's pretty much the most badass girl you've ever met. You're not sure if you'd have the stones to do what you do without your powers but she rides out there every other night with a bow. You dig her confidence, and her cool head. She's pretty much a closed book but hey, everybody has things they don't like talking about."Mmm. Not gonna lie. I'd have to say Artemis." Roy and Dick quickly exchange hands with something. "You two place a bet?">Continued
>>2429240"Yeah, boy wonder thought you'd say M'gann." Roy counts his new bills and Dick just shrugs in his defense."What? You've been spending a lot of time with her lately." "Whatever. Besides, it's not like they're aren't all cool in their own way. M'gann just draws you in and Donna's something else." "No argument there, brother." Roy tips his cap to you."Alright, time for you guys to fess up. Spill it. Especially you, Kaldur." Your friends all squirm in their own way before anyone speaks up.Surprisingly, Kaldur is the first. "To be truthful. There's someone in Atlantis... we were trained together. Grew up together. Though I doubt she has any inkling of my feelings." Dick is uncharacteristically sheepish when it's his turn. "Ah well, only Morgans met her. And uh- her name is Barbara."Can't say you're not surprised. "Really man? You never let on.""Well of course not! I work with her all the time, If things get weird then I still have to see her at school and on the rooftops. Besides, I'm not even sure. I don't know man. Forget it." All eyes fall on Roy. "Easy. None of em. I mean, boy wonders got a point. Don't make it weird."Everyone boos him for his lame answer. According to unwritten law between bros. While you were all talking, the girls lead the group to what to be the funhouse of mirrors. The image of a distorted clown hangs over the entrance, guarding the place from the meek. Or people just afraid of creepy-ass clowns. According to the employee up front, you can only go in pairs.Go with->Artemis>Dick>Donna>Roy>M'gann>Kaldur
>>2429244>>ArtemisYou know what it is,Sleepy.

Bros I totally think artemis is the best now let me ignore her for donna
>>2429372It's called not jumping the gun friend
>>2429298When it's your turn to step up, you already known who you're going with. "Donna, walk with me?"She steps up right away, great big smile on her face, as always. "Of course, let us be off."Right away, this funhouse is better constructed than anything you've even seen in a mirror, the darkness inside make it difficult to tell proportions of things before you get close and the checkered floor throws off your perception every time you look downwards.Much to the amusement of the other folks walking around, Donna get's a real kick out of most everything in here. When you walk through an optical illusion room where the door on the other side is actually way too small. "Morgan! Look! Who could hope to fit through such a tiny door? You 'd have to crawl through!" Walking through an 'upside down' room where everything is flipped. "Look! Look! Everything is on the ceiling, very clever. Would also be effective for disorienting the enemy."And every single time you walk past a mirror. "Haha! Morgan, Morgan you have to see this. I'm fat this time!"Honestly, this whole thing probably would've been lame without her. Seeing her wonder at every small thing is refreshing. Eventually, you come to a hall of reflections, a walkway that reflects those walking in it over a thousand times. Or so the sign says."Donna, you're probably sick of people askin' you questions like this but- I gotta ask, what's it like on the island?"She doesn't say anything at first. For a moment you think you might've spoiled the moment for her but she's just thinking. "It's beautiful. Probably the most beautiful place in the world. My sisters are a bit over-bearing, But I've learned from experience that it can be extremely difficult to find kindness like theirs in Man's World."About what you expected, the place is called Paradise Island, after all. "Sounds amazing. Not gonna lie, I'd like to see it one of these days. Atlantis too." "Perhaps you could. Exceptions have been made before. I would love to bring the Titans as honored guests.""Y'know, now is as good a time as ever, I gotta know. So y'know how there's all sorts of rumors and theories on your island right? One of them is that no men are allowed, so the island turns men into women if they step foot on it. There any truth to that?"She just laughs, trying not to soiund like she's laughing at your expense. "No, that's ridiculous. The island would simply smite you first."Seeing your shocked face, she leans in close, just a whisper. "Just kidding!">End of SessionOkay folks, I'm not sure when our next session will be but it'll be soon. As usual, I'll be around if you got questions or whatever. Peace.
>>2429372we hardly see her out side of "working"we go to school with Artemiswe go to the same gymif we hung out with her even more it would be suffocating for everyone
