>Icky Vic EditionHello, good people of /qst/. This quest is, as is probably obvious from the OP pic, based on the Teen Titans animated series. You'll be taking the part of a young man and potential Titan, guiding him through his trials and tribulations.>RulesThere will be a 15 minute voting period between posts. Please only choose one option (I will let you know in cases where you can choose more)An option with two arrows (>>) beside it is one that can be combined with other optionsWrite-ins of dialogue are allowed, but they won't be put in as-written, just sort of the spirit of the write-in. Additionally, dialogue write-ins require a significant amount of support from other players to be put in, as they can greatly affect the character. Action write-ins will only be allowed under certain circumstances, which I'll announce. You can suggest an action to me if you want, and I may allow it, but might not depending on various factors. No dice system in this quest. Victory and defeat will come down to decisions rather than random luck. Learn from experiences, develop strategies, and think outside the box at times (like I said, an action can be suggested to me).Above all, have fun. I want this to be an enjoyable experience for everyone. Through success, failure, and everything in-between, I hope this will be an adventure worth remembering.Last thread is kept here >http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?searchall=TT+Quest>http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?tags=Master+of+GamesTwitter: https://twitter.com/INSTIGATORQST
Woo I always miss these.
As this strange woman speaks, you rearrange the barrier a bit, trying to give her less ability to maneuver and attack an unprotected spot. Meanwhile, you gesture for Cyborg to do the talking, hoping that the two of you can handle this, and save the people that are being held prisoner. You were expecting more enemies, but the only one to emerge is Vic, and nobody's firing from within the storage unit. It looks like she's alone in this fight, yet she doesn't look the least bit concerned. If anything, she seems pleased with the current situation. That tells you that she's quite skilled, or completely nuts, making her dangerous in either case. The amount of weapons she has on her person does incline you to suspect skill over madness, but it's still too early to really be assuming anything. For now, you focus on maintaining your barrier, hoping that you can keep her from getting a clear shot at you or Cyborg, whom you trust to do the talking for now. He may have met this woman already, and so might be better able to deal with this confrontation. Negotiation doesn't seem like an option, but maybe he's gleaned some knowledge about how this person fights."You've got a seriously warped idea of what makes a good day," Cyborg tells the woman, sonic cannon at the ready despite the fact that he's protected by your shield. "You're outnumbered, and this time you haven't caught us in an ambush.""Indeed, this time you will be given a chance to fight back," Vic returns, amused. "Perhaps you will be able to help me work up a sweat.""Oh, I'll do a lot more than that!" Cyborg declares, rushing out from behind your shield and firing on Vic, who swiftly dodges. She keeps moving, circling the two of you as Cyborg readies another shot. You maintain your cover with the barrier, but Cyborg is in the open now, ready to fight this enemy head-on and show her what the Teen Titans can do.As Vic comes around, Cyborg takes another shot with his cannon, this time aiming for the ground in front of her as she runs in his direction. Vic leaps as the blast strikes the ground, landing in a roll and drawing a sword. She rushes at your friend, who puts his cannon away, slams his fists together, and rushes to meet her.>A. Hit her with a Psychic Strike while her focus is on Cyborg!>B. Drop the barrier and try to restrain her!>C. Teleport between her and Cyborg and defend with your barrier!>D. Get in and fight the old-fashioned way>E. Stay where you are and don't get involved yet. Watch them fight and see what you can learn.>/>>F. Write-in

Also>>2382081>Damn it MoG, how do you expect me to reconcile my two favorite waifus, Cass and Rose? They fight?
>>2382244Cyborg might be able to take her one-on-one, but you'd rather not risk it, especially with two of your friends already being held captive. You're going to help your friend as best you can, and the opportunity looks to already be presenting itself to you.Her focus is locked exclusively on Cyborg right now. He's fired his sonic cannon at her more than once, and is now rushing to meet her in close-quarter fighting. You've stood behind a barrier. She probably considers you irrelevant in the current battle, and intends to make quick work of you once she's dispatched Cyborg. Disregarding an enemy entirely is a dangerous approach, and it really speaks to her confidence that she seems to be doing just that. She's going to regret it.When the distance is closed, Vic stabs with her sword, seemingly aiming for Cyborg's throat. Against a normal individual, this would be an attempted killing strike made very early in the fight. You're pretty sure that Cyborg could survive such an injury, though you aren't sure what effect it would have on his mechanical components. Cyborg doesn't seem intent on sating that curiosity, though, and just barely moves himself fast enough to avoid taking a blade to the throat. The stab passes over his right shoulder, missing his neck by a few inches. As Vic begins to pull back her blade, and Cyborg moves to counter, you strike, slamming a psychic force into Vic's left cheek, throwing her off-balance, and leaving her quite susceptible to the kick Cyborg throws, resulting in her being knocked to the ground and losing the grip on her sword.Though the combined efforts of Cyborg and yourself clearly caused her pain, Vic recovers quickly, throwing herself back onto her feet and reaching for her belt. Cyborg begins moving toward her, only to stop short as she drops a trio of orbs to the ground, which produce a smokescreen that obscures her from vision. Whether Cyborg's technology can't properly guide him through the smoke, or if he was simply surprised, he stops his attempt to attack. Vic strikes from within the smoke, and the unmistakable sound of a gunshot echoes across the storage lot. From Cyborg, there comes a cry, though you can't see exactly what happened with the smokescreen between you.A second later, you hear a grunt, then another as you think Cyborg is knocked to the ground.>A. Rush through the smoke and attack Vic from behind>B. Teleport to Cyborg and create a barrier to shield him from further attack>C. You can't see well enough for a precise Psychic Strike, but maybe you can generate a psychic force that can clear the smoke and push Vic.>D. Don't do anything until you know what's going on>E. Fly into the air and hit her with Psychic Strikes once you can spot her>/>>F. Write-in
>>2382350>>C. You can't see well enough for a precise Psychic Strike, but maybe you can generate a psychic force that can clear the smoke and push Vic.>>2382337I- Yes.
>>2382350>C. You can't see well enough for a precise Psychic Strike, but maybe you can generate a psychic force that can clear the smoke and push Vic.
>>2382350>C. You can't see well enough for a precise Psychic Strike, but maybe you can generate a psychic force that can clear the smoke and push Vic.I don't think we'll fare very well if we don't clear that smoke out of the way, and the push might also prevent her from following up her attacks on Cy without us having to close in or wait for a clear shot at her.
>>2382366Trying to hit her with a Psychic Strike from this side of the smoke-screen would probably be completely useless, as you can't see her to make a clear strike. Teleporting to Cyborg or flying above the smoke crosses your mind, but you decide to just get rid of that nuisance altogether. You may not be able to make an accurate Psychic Strike, but by using the same general principals, you might be able to create a broader force that can blow away the smoke, and hopefully knock Vic off balance in the process. To be sure that you can manage the power, you drop your barrier, putting your focus into this particular attack. You prepare yourself, then throw your hands toward the smokescreen, picturing yourself pushing everything in front of you, allowing the righteous fury generated in protecting your friend to fuel the effort. You're pleased to see the smoke being blown away, and are able to see Cyborg hit an unbalanced Vic with a sonic blast to the chest, throwing her backward into the dispelling smoke, where she lands on her back. Cyborg rushes in, punching downward, but she manages to roll back and get into a crouch as Cyborg strikes with enough force to crack the concrete beneath his fist. Moving as a blur, Vic tosses something at Cyborg, then leaps back, flipping and turning midair to land facing you.Looking toward Cyborg, you see something sticking out of his chin, which he slowly reaches up to remove. He looks down at the object in his palm, then scowls and crushes it in a mighty fist. "You aren't going to take me down that eas-" Cyborg starts, taking a step forward before stopping and hunching forward. You can see a sizable hole in his left leg, probably a result of the gunshot from a few moments ago. But beyond that, he looks sleepy, like he's about to pass out right here and now. Judging by the fact that something was just sticking out of his face, your first instinct is that she hit him with a tranquilizer of some kind. As you watch Cyborg, you can tell that he's fighting it, refusing to let unconsciousness take him. Maybe his mechanical components are helping fight the drug, or maybe he's found a mountain of willpower. Whatever the explanation, it seems that he just might be able to shake this off, provided that you give him the time.Vic doesn't seem all that concerned with your friend's apparent struggle against her drug. Now her attention rests squarely on you. She looks you over, then puts her gun back in its holster. You wait to see what weapon she pulls out, but instead of that, she rushes right at you.>A. Meet her in an exchange of punches and kicks. Hand-to-hand time!>B. Teleport and strike from behind>C. Create a barrier and just fend her off until Cyborg recovers>D. Take to the air and throw Psychic Strikes down at her>E. Use the fighting style of martial-arts mixed with barriers>/>>F. Write-in

>>2382420I'll support >>2382429If we engage her but in an unusual way, it should help buy time for Cyborg. I'm afraid if we just turtle up she'll get impatient and use her weapons on Pete.
>>2382429>>2382435Something tells you that this woman is skilled in hand-to-hand combat. If she wasn't, she wouldn't be charging you and would instead be using one of the many weapons at her disposal. Then again, she used weapons on Cyborg, but evidently never went for a killing blow. And she put away her gun when she decided to confront you. Add that to the fact that she's supposedly taken Beast Boy and Raven prisoner, and you're pretty sure she wants to capture rather than kill you.The only question is why.You can ask her later. For now, it's time to fight. She wants hand-to-hand, you can give her that. No matter how skilled she is, you doubt that she's fought someone like you before. As she closes in, you take a basic stance. She leaps and descends on you, aiming a kick at your face, but you step to the side and throw a punch at the side of her head. She ducks and sweeps at your legs, successfully knocking them out from under you. Though half of her face is covered, the bottom half conveys more than enough shock when you don't hit the ground, but rather float on your back in the air, quickly moving away from her and returning to your feet while remaining stiff as a board.Wide open and flabbergasted, she's easy to hit with a Psychic Strike, and you give her a good mind-punch to the face while she's temporarily distracted. Her head is thrown back, but it looks like that was the jolt she needed to get her head back in the game. As you made your attack, you'd already started charging her, and as she recovers from your psychic attack, you close the remaining distance and throw a roundhouse kick. She grabs your ankle before the kick can land, and throws a palm-strike at your face, only to scowl in frustration as a barrier shields you from the attack. Your remaining foot leaves the ground, and you bring it up right into your opponent's jaw, sending her stumbling back and causing her to lose her grip. Once again, you float to keep yourself from hitting the ground, and use your power to flip yourself over and land safely on your feet.Vic regains her balance, but you can tell that she's starting to feel the blows she's been taking. She's clearly a tough woman, but she's only human. And between hits from a super-strong cyborg, taking a sonic blast to the chest, and being hit by invisible punches, she's starting to wear down.>Continued
>>2382525That doesn't mean your victory, though. Your breathing is becoming more labored, your head beginning to feel some pain. Your body hasn't taken any damage, but you've been putting your mental abilities to serious use, and it's beginning to take its toll. Between that intense training with Donna, blocking bullets, and all you've done in this brief fight, your mind is beginning to remember that you have a finite amount of energy. That doesn't mean you're down and out. Not even close. You can keep fighting, but so can Vic. The question is if you can defeat her before your powers fail you, or outlast her until she loses her energy. You don't know how Cyborg's doing at the moment, and you don't dare take your eyes off of your opponent, who has learned her lesson about not taking you seriously. She hasn't taken out any weapons yet, but that could change if you back her into a corner. This isn't Robin you're dealing with, or even Rose. This woman is your enemy, and it seems she will do whatever it takes to beat you. She might not be as good as your two friends when they give their all, but she's still quite good, and fighting to take you down.>>A. "What have you done with my friends?">>B. >>2382544Rather than make this a test of stamina, perhaps you can buy time by keeping her talking. It's worth a shot, at least, and you may even learn something valuable in the process."What have you done with my friends?" you demand of Vic, keeping yourself ready to act at a moment's notice if she decides to forgo talking and just attack.Luckily, she seems willing to talk. "Don't worry, you'll be joining them soon, and I'll make a fortune."Okay, that gives you some answers, but raises a few more questions. Someone's offering a lot of money to capture your team, apparently. Brother Blood is the first one you suspect, but it could be one of the gang leaders for all you know. There's no telling, and you doubt prying into that will be a fruitful endeavor. "Where are the officers?" you ask."Oh, they're still very much alive," Vic assures you with a venomous smile. "They made much better bait that way. You children came running in to try and rescue them, playing right into my hands. Now, you're mine!"At that, she once again springs into action, charging the distance between you, spinning her body, and lifting her leg as if to throw a kick. You prepare to deal with that, but are caught off-guard when the woman's elbow impacts the side of your face, sending you stumbling back in a disoriented stupor. Vic doesn't wait for you to recover, she's already striking again, hitting your jaw with a painful uppercut, then kicking your inner thigh, causing your left leg to buckle. She goes to throw a knee-strike, but you manage to create a barrier just in time to stop that, sliding back across the ground to gain some distance.Any delay caused by your strange method of travel is gone now, and Vic is right on your tail, charging as fast as you can back up. You throw a Psychic Strike at her face, which slows her down, but only for a moment. She's quickly back to full speed, and reaches into her belt, throwing a knife at your shoulder. You manage to block that with a barrier, but she then takes her handgun back out and takes aim at the same spot.>A. Create a barrier! Put all your willpower into keeping it up!>B. >>2382636You don't feel like straining yourself with a barrier at the moment. If she has a lot of ammo, you aren't confident that you can maintain it long enough. Time to put a stop to her attacks.Teleportation catches her by surprise, as you appear behind her and hold out a hand in her direction. Before she has a chance to even start turning around, she's locked in place by a red energy, keeping her from moving so much as an inch.Past experience has taught you that this might not last. If things keep up at this pace, you will run out of energy before you can defeat Vic. Where is Cyborg?"Cyborg!" you call out to your friend, not looking for him as you keep yourself focused on Vic. "I could use some help right now!""You got it," your friend's voice answers.Cyborg marches over to the restrained Vic, no longer looking sleepy, but looking very, very annoyed. He cracks his mechanical knuckles as he stands before the blonde woman, pulling back his right arm and giving her a punch that even makes you flinch. He looks past Vic. "You can let her go now."And so you do, letting the dangerous lady fall unconscious to the ground. Cyborg bends down and confiscates her belt to be safe, then tosses it into the air and shoots it with his Sonic Cannon. The resulting explosion leaves you wondering just what she had in that thing."I can get BB and Rae," Cyborg declares as he turns to you. "You should go help the others at the prison.">A. Probably going to keep running tonight, with the intent of running longer than last night
After sleeping on it, I regret voting to send Cyborg as backup instead of Peter. It was probably the smart thing to do, but I just really want to find out what's going on over at the prison.
>>2384141Oh, I'm sure you'll find out.
>>2384151Well yes. We can ask our friends afterward. Why do you got to make it sound so ominous?
>>2384240I have my reasons
>>2384141Well, if we could drop BB and Raven off at the tower, we could grab something that would make us useful and go to the prison to see to the situation.
>>2384290>something that would make us usefulI have actually been wondering what kind of weapon KC could use. Imagine if he had a super-dense clear ball; we could use much less energy to swing that thing around and bonk baddies on the head than if we just generate the force ourselves
>>2384314I'm now imagining the scene from X-Men 2 where Magneto escapes prison using small iron spheres. 2-3 small dense spheres that KC could have whipping around while still doing his psychic kung-fu thing would be pretty fucking cool. It continues to build on his growing subtheme of having a very unique and confusing fighting style.
>>2384360that is 100% what i had in mind. I imagine a set of bolos would be cool too, great for tripping/capture
>>2384314Sure, but short term he's weakened, so I was thinking he should bring his mook-fu along with anything else he could use without straining further.
>>2384386Maybe if we're lucky we can find a Sonic blaster and BB and Raven can also join the fight.
>>2384703That latter bit would save us a whole lot of trouble.
>>2384703>"Cyborg, where do you keep your spare arm?">"In my room, why?">...>"I needed a hand"
>>2384435Well we are almost like a green lantern. I think creating extra construct arms out of our fear (barrier) will(to shape and make it solid) could be possible.
>>2384725That would be amazing.

You wish you could be there with him. Really, you wish that you, Beast Boy, and Raven could all go with him and help. Maybe you'll be lucky, and the two of them will be in good enough shape to join the fight once you rescue them. Though you're feeling quite tired, and your head has begun to ache, you rush into the open storage unit. The place is an absolute mess. There are broken pieces of equipment all over the place, weapons and tools scattered across the floor, and what looks like dried blood. For half a second, you start to panic, but then you realize that it's been there too long to be from either of your friends. Speaking of the other Titans, you find them quickly (the unit isn't that large, and there isn't exactly a lot to obscure your view, especially after the place got a taste of Cyborg's Sonic Cannon). The two of them are sitting in a corner, leaning against one-another in a state of unconsciousness. Both are bound and gagged, though you aren't sure how much good rope will do on the two of them once they wake up. Vic must have planned on getting out of here quickly once she took down you and Cyborg, or maybe she had another way of keeping everyone under control.Or, maybe she was just an idiot about this.A noise startles you, and you spin in its direction, ready to fight, only to find half a dozen people bound and gagged on the ground near...oh God.There are three bodies on the ground near the officers. >>2384854Actually, no.>E. Hold the 'police' and check them for weapons. Cyborg did say three officers.
>>2384826Something isn't adding up as far as the number of officers being held captive here. Cyborg said three, but there are six in here with you. While it's possible that your friend simply missed a few when he was fighting around here before, you have a gut feeling that makes you suspicious. You think that you'll wake up the other Titans before you deal with the officers.Walking over and kneeling in front of your friends, you can see that they're out cold. You aren't really sure how to wake them, but you guess that ripping duct tape off their faces might be enough to jolt them back into consciousness. You just hope that they don't end up using their powers against you out of reflex when they're shocked awake. You start with Raven, reaching out, grabbing a corner of the tape, and ripping it off of her face like a band-aid. Her body immediately shudders, and her eyes shoot open as she lets out an uncharacteristic scream of sudden pain. That dark aura surrounds her, and her eyes narrow dangerously at you, until she gets her bearings and realizes who you are. Relieved not to be on the receiving end of one of Raven's magical attacks, you move on to Beast Boy, taking the tape off of his mouth in a similar manner, which also wakes him up with a rather unmanly scream. He looks around frantically for a moment, realizes that he's been tied up, and takes the form of a snake, freeing himself from the ropes. Raven similarly frees herself using her magic."What happened?" Beast Boy asks as he returns to human form. "And what's with-""Wait," Raven warns, putting out an arm to stop Beast Boy from getting any closer to the police. "You remember how they got us, right?"Beast Boy thinks for a moment, then starts glaring toward the bound officers. "Yeah, we were trying to sneak past that blonde lady and free these guys, and one of them clubbed us over the head!""Cyborg said there were only three officers here," you tell them, looking at the police suspiciously. "Well, we thought so, too," Beast Boy tells you. "But while I was untying one of them, I heard Raven get hit, and when I turned around I saw three dudes in police uniforms. >>2384930>>2384928>>2384929"I'm going to call the police and let them sort this out," you decide, pulling out your communicator. "They're going to need to take Vic somewhere, anyway.""Works for me," Raven decides, having a look around. "So, where's Cyborg?"Oh, right, you need to tell them about all of that. "Are either of you good to fight?" you ask the two. "The others are dealing with a situation at the prison and they could use back-up.""What kind of situation?" Raven asks, turning to you.The details are still unknown to you, but you tell them what you do know. You explain how there's some sort of break-in going on at the prison, and that Cyborg just left to go provide back-up. "I'm just fine," Beast Boy tells you. "I'll go help."Watching as your green friend turns into a falcon, you see him fly off into the distance, leaving you and Raven behind. You turn to the girl, who watches Beast Boy go, then looks back to you."Are you gonna be alright by yourself, here?" she questions.>>A. "Why wouldn't I be?">>B. "I'll be fine.">>C. >>2384983>>2384977"Honestly, I'd rather have someone here with me," you tell her. "Just in case."Raven nods in understanding. "Alright. I'll stay here for now."With Raven around just in case things go wrong, you feel safer. Not just because you have backup in your weakened state, but because Raven is a trusted and reliable friend. You feel better knowing that she's here to watch your back. She keeps an eye on the bound officers while you call the police, informing them of the current situation. You hear relief in the dispatcher's voice, telling you that the police department was probably aware of what was going on, despite what they told Robin. They tell you that officers are being dispatched to your location, though they warn that it may take a bit with so many officers currently responding to the situation at the prison. It looks like you and Raven might be here for a little while. In the meantime, Raven locates some more rope and uses it to tie up the unconscious Vic, not wanting her to wake up and escape, or start attacking the two of you. Without the bulk of her weapons, you think that you and Raven could handle her, but you really don't feel like finding out one way or another.>>A. "How are you feeling?">>B. >>2385070>>2385080>>2385074"How are you feeling?" you ask your friend."Fine," she answers, eyes scanning the storage lot in which this particular unit sits. "I've had worse wake-up calls."You think that might have been a joke."Any idea who would be crazy enough to break into a prison?" you ask, hoping to keep conversation going as opposed to sitting here in silence until the police show up."Most of the people crazy enough to break into a prison are already in prison," Raven answers. "The only one I could see doing it is Madame Rouge, and she wouldn't be so loud about it. Well, maybe the HIVE FIVE if Gizmo was in charge. But I think they'll be keeping their heads down with what happened to Sergeant HIVE."Yeah, you can imagine them not wanting to do a whole lot after losing their leader, sure. But you still wonder about who it could be. Blood would have the nerve to try something like this, but if he's working on something as major as summoning Trigon, you doubt he'd jeopardize that by appearing in the open already. It could be his team, but part of you suspects that he would avoid that, given that both Marissa and Linus don't want to fight you, which could hurt their chances if you showed up with the other Titans. "I'm sure the others will tell us all about it when they get back," Raven tells you, as if reading your thoughts. "There's no point in dwelling on it now. What I want to know is what happened here. They obviously knew we were coming, they caught us by surprise, but they captured us instead of killing us. Why?""Vic mentioned she'd get a lot of money for catching us," you tell her. "Think Snowflame put a bounty out on us?""It's possible," she admits, though she sounds skeptical. "But why have us brought in alive? If he just wants us out of the way, why put that restriction on his people?"You don't have the answer for that one. Although, maybe there's a way that something like that could make sense.>A. "Maybe Snowflame planned on ransoming us off or something.">B. "What if Blood's working through the criminals to get us captured? >>2385136>>2385144"What if Blood's working through the criminals to get us captured?" you posit. "His team couldn't do it last time, and I know I've made him really mad."Raven looks to you, frowning. "Then we're going to have more trouble than we thought. These gangs are strong already, and they've brought in some dangerous people.""True, my dear, but I can assure you that one gang has no interest in capturing the Teen Titans."The voice carries an accent that you can't quite place, but when you turn and see the man it's coming from, that's the last thing on your mind. He's a light-skinned, muscular man in a red, sleeveless top, and pants of the same color that look like they should be part of a Santa Claus costume. He has long, wild, white hair, and some strange, almost flame-like protrusions both under his eyes, and on his arms. He stands flanked by four men armed with assault rifles, which are not currently pointed at you. The looks in their eyes tells you that they will shoot you and Raven without a moment's hesitation should the oddly-dressed fellow give the order."So, you are the Teen Titans," he observes. "Less strange-looking than the last costumed freaks that tried to extinguish my fire. Younger, but hopefully wiser.">A. "Who are you, and what are you talking about?">>B. "I like your costume.">C. >>2385175>>2385176"Who are you?" you ask the strange man. "And what are you talking about?"The man grins at your questions, stepping forward like he owns the place (which he might, depending on who this is). His men remain stationary, and still keep their guns pointed away from you, not seeming particularly worried about their apparent boss approaching a couple of Teen Titans."I, my friend, am Snowflame," he declares. "Every fiber of my being burns with a white-hot intensity in a blaze that can never be snuffed out. I am the divine instrument of the powdered snow, the true god of this Earth!"Okay, now you're starting to get some Blood flashbacks, and you really don't like that. If this guy starts talking about changing the world, you're going to have a serious problem. Still, him mentioning a "powdered snow", and your current location leads you to believe that this is simply a drug kingpin coming to see what's happening at one of his properties. Jury's still out on how bad that is for you, but he clearly has some screws loose."I had heard that there was some commotion here," he explains, stepping past you and into the storage unit. "And when I arrive, I find my own men dead, the one in charge of them bound and unconscious, and two of the famous Teen Titans standing in the ruined remains of what was once a sacred temple of the divine substance."He snaps his fingers, and two of the men approach, pointing their guns at the bound officers."Something smells rotten here," he remarks. "I am going to have these men interrogated, Titans. If they are simply officers of the law that were caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, they will be free to go, so long as they make no efforts against myself or my men. But, if they are not who they appear to be, I will dispatch my own justice as I see fit.">A. "On whose authority?">B. "You're joking, right? >>2385265DUN DUN DUNThanks for running, MoG!
>>2385275Thanks for playing, anon
>>2385393MoG, you should have posted this after next session, where we discover all the cops are fakes, and when Snowflame decides to execute us afterwards we once again hold hands with Raven before teleporting all the way back to Titans Tower. Raven rests Peter's head on her thigh as he recovers from pushing himself too hard. Then this would be a blow out vote for Silkie
>>2385409SILKIE FOREVER!Pete teleporting himself and Raven out if things go really sour seems more likely. Pete's teleports seem to be faster to initiate than Raven's. As long as they wouldn't be abandoning real cops in the process.
>>2385421Raven's is stronger and easier for her to sustain, though.
>>2385423Oh yeah, we're completely outclassed by Raven in pretty much every category but teleportation initiation speed can be pretty useful if we've got to duck bullets.
>>2385423Sure. That's why you teleport outside of immediate danger, say past a wall, then she teleports now that she has a moment to focus.
>>2385436Sensible, but slightly less cute.I'm pulling for Raven. She deserves a nice boy who can connect with her and who will protect her smile.
>>2385439I got you, senpai Just kidding
>>2385450LolReal talk though, I can't see them in a relationship, because I can't see them getting along alone for large periods of time. They're both pretty top shelf as SO's go, but I think they'd drive one another insane if they were together that often.
>>2385450The primary reason I dislike the BB/Rae ship is that BB is too immature, and that causes him to make mistakes when it comes to interpersonal relationships. Completely understandable, given his age, but Raven is more emotionally vulnerable to the consequences of those mistakes. He's got a lot of good qualities otherwise. Once he gets a few more years under his belt, he'll be a quality husbando all around.
>>2385393>no love for donnaThat's off
>>2385456Yeah, those two having a romantic relationship would be difficult. The cartoon showed them developing a close friendship over time, but where all the shipping comes from, I'm not entirely sure. I mean, it could work, but it would be a rocky relationship, at least for a while.>>2385469I will defend Beast Boy in that regard. While the show portrayed him as the team goofball, it also showed that he was capable of rising to the occasion when things got serious. He convinced Thunder to stop his "fun" because it was harmful to others, he comforted Raven after what happened with Malchior, he talked Terra into fighting back against Slade, he helped Cyborg get through his issues with that special chip and Billy Numerous. He talked some sense into Mento, and spearheaded an assault on the Brotherhood of Evil's base.Dude may be goofy, but he's not entirely immature.
>>2385479Donna frankly seems to be the least popular of the three most of the time.
>>2385491I like them both a lot. I think they're premium waifu/husbandos. Just not for each other.
>>2385495Fair enough. A lot of times I get more of a brother/sister vibe from them.
>>2385479Don't get me wrong. I'm like Donna. I think she'd make a good and interesting Waifu. She's down to earth and is developing good chemistry with KC. The 'Hold' scene was good and the promised rematch has some nice interpersonal tension. I would not be unhappy with a Donna result. She's just not my first choice. My personal rankings are 1. Starfire, 2. Raven, 3. Donna, 4. Rose. I don't dislike any of them, I just rank them like that based on how good I find their chemistry and how healthy a relationship I think they'd have.>>2385491I don't disagree, especially as the series developed. But a relationship between the two of them would be pretty difficult until he was able to overcome the rest of it. And like you, I get more of a older sister/little brother vibe from them. Which is not my fetish.

Hey MoG, have you considered making a discord channel for people to socialize in?
Have to postpone and deal with some schoolwork. I'll be keeping this tab open, though, so if anybody has any questions, comments, criticisms, suggestions, or things they'd like to see, feel free to post them>>2387241Not really, but I guess if there's enough people who want it, I could do that.
>>2387346I'm personally ambivalent. There are pros and cons. I guess its up to how other people feel about it.
>>2387360>>2387346as someone who barely has time to keep up with quests themselves, discords push me away from a lot of quests because I lose a lot of the thread of the discussion, and its alienating

>>2388413Sure mate, sounds fun, I just didn't much enjoy the idea of an official chat
>>2386135I know the titans do not ask the league for help a lot. But aside from Raven nobody can handle magic. And Trigon is a big deal. Constantine gets people killed. But at least he tries saving them. Faith might be even more ruthless against Petes Family. Or even him.
>>2391217If we're going to call a magic expert in from outside the team I vote Billy Batson.
>>2391217I might mix it up with another quest but isn't zatarra a member this time?
>>2391403Dunno, but in Canon the reason Raven formed the New Teen Titans is because she went to the Justice League for help and was rejected because Zatanna sensed her demonic heritage.

>>2393542That's just a recipe for Raven being forever alone.Raven needs some love.
>>2393554The appeal of your quests has always been the consistency and frequency, not the writing.
>>2393554I haven't read metahuman quest so I can't speak to its quality, but I've been enjoying this one immensely, my favorite thing being the way the relationships between Peter and the other characters have been developing. I feel you stay true to the characters and that makes it rewarding.
>>2393563I have not, between DC Quest and Manthor's quest, I wasn't optimistic about quests in the DC universe, part of the reason I decided to try my hand at it myself>>2393592Thanks, anon

>>2394439He could, but there are plenty of fish in the sea, and depending how events play out, I'll try to give the characters as many happy endings as we can.
>>2394442That's cute MoG. But lets not leave it to fate. We'll fight for everyone's happiness with our own hands. Peter marries everyone Golden Path begin.
>>2394449Imagine how happy Cyborg will be when he gets fitted for his wedding dress and that laughter will be replaced with pride and joy.
>>2393718>>2393669I was joking, the last time I ran a quest it was a complete shitfest and I'd rather forget it ever happened.
>>2394511Tell us about it anyway. After this thread you'll have a completely different ID and we'll never be able to identify you again. Such is the beauty of anon.
I was looking through my files for a particular picture and came across this. Felt it deserved posting.
>>2393480In Manthor's quest it's more of a threesome and a sharing agreement with Raven and Harley. However that quest is ded so it doesnt matter anymore anyway.
>>2394809As dead as that Sith Quest that Brine ran?
>>2394518Long story short: the whole thing was half-assed. I botched the execution, wrote myself into a corner, and finally didn't give anyone a satisfying conclusion.Oh, MoG is running tonight so we might as well get some discussion goinghttps://www.strawpoll.me/15291538
So, MoG's not running today (hope you get some well-deserved sleep today). Anyone around?
>>2397834Following up, I'll pose a question to people:What sort of scenes would you like to see happen in this quest? A few of mine:1. Do another brain delve with Raven. Even if Samuel didn't get the full picture from his viewing, additional details will be valuable for putting things together.2. Telling Marissa what we learned from our last encounter with Blood. We accused Blood of being the one to take Samuel away from Marissa and his Mother. Blood *LOVES* gloating whenever someone else is wrong. The fact that he didn't means we nailed it on the head, or at least close enough. Combined with whatever we can uncover about Blood's plot, this could be a potent way of undermining Blood and getting Marissa to flip.3. I'm looking forward to Peter vs Donna rematch, with Pete going full blast with this new 'Willpower' thing he has going on (which, btw, I think is not a power, but rather an intensifier of his other powers). Ideally before he goes to bed on a night where he doesn't have to do patrol.4. Cute snuggling with whoever wins the Peterbowl. I'm a grown man on 4chan. I have access to all the porn humanity could ever need. Snuggling is where its at.
>>2398219I like some of this. Specially looking forward towards number 2. About the 3rd one though, do you mean actual sparring or just holding her again?>>2397834Seconding your sentiment between the parentheses.
>>2398544'Hold'. Its a clean strength vs strength contest. A sparring contest against Donna would be tough. Though she doesn't outstrip us in skill to the degree of Robin or Rose, she's just so overwhelming in terms of power that we really stand no chance against her (though it might still be fun). For fun (and because I've had a few in celebration of St. Patrick's day) I'm going to highlight the pros of each of the top Peterbowl competitors.Donna: She shares our mutual love of competition without the instability of Rose. She seems to respect our strength and determination without scorning our weakness (regarding stamina). We share an almost conspiratorial bond in that we seek to nurture Rose, and that bond should not be underestimated. She would be a worthy victor because she is uncomplicated (backstory aside) and direct.Rose: Pretty and in need of help, she has a high moe factor. A relationship with her would be challenging because much of it would be about helping and protecting her, which can become unhealthy. Still, a successfully navigated relationship with her would be rewarding commensurate with the difficulty. Raven: I see this as the most balanced relationship. Both Raven and Peter have troubled pasts, which to me signals a relationship of equitable mutual support. Raven did a lot to help Peter when he was at his most vulnerable, and thanks to her help he's found steady footing and is now capable of returning the favor (as in the aftermath of their journey into Peter's memories). I think she deserves a win without an asterisk (which is how I'll describe her relationship with the protag of ManThor's quest.).4. Starfire. She's dating Robin and so she's not really an option unless things change (which is at MoGs mercy). She's a lovely person who's outgoing personality often means that her emotional depth can go unnoticed and unexplored. Exploring those depths and meeting often unspoken needs is one of the the rewarding avenues of a relationship with her.
>>2398219>snuggling is where its at
