>How will't thou corrupteth ye olde fantasy setting?

Why it's only been about a week since your summoning to the mortal realm, but already there's an Inquisitor hot on your heels! What a waste of such a rare opportunity that would be, to be brought here and freed, only to then get caught and exorcised within days. Luckily in those few days you met and befriended a young man working in the neighboring building as a farrier. Poor fool seems quite taken with you, enough that when the Inquisitor came he acted in your defense. If only he knew the truth... but then your human "guise", the mortal reflection of your demonic self, is quite convincing.

In any case, shortly thereafter the two of you fled the city, stealing a horse and taking to the country roads. Whatever your veritable prince charming may have on his mind doesn't much concern you though, as long as you're free of those religious do-gooders who would see you banished back to the Hellscape, and you can't have that!

At the moment it is a chill morning of early spring, having to spend the night in some farmer's shed. Not the most pleasant accommodations but you'll take what you can get when you're on the run, and it beats sleeping in the woods. You're stirred awake by your would-be champion, to let you know he stole some small foodstuffs but that eating by a fire probably wouldn't be a good idea while still on the farm grounds. So you cherish the feeling of "being" mortal as you stretch out among the hay and languish in the sensations to your senses for awhile longer before taking an offered hand to get to your feet and make the short trek to the woods nearby.

And so it is, as you sit together by little fire watching your traveling companion prepare a chicken for the spit, asking you to divy up the greens. Like most anything else though, you lack the knowledge or the skill to do such a thing, for what vegetables are there in the Hellscape? Nothing you can't learn in time you're sure, and it does give you a chance to ponder your situation and start to plan your next move. Not to mention there's still so much you don't know about this world, even starting with your companion. For the time being, you can embrace the freedom, but it won't last if you don't act to preserve it.

>How do you proceed?

Tell him we don't remember a lot of things and that if he could explain what he means we would gladly do it

Right, right of course you can rely on your companion for now. Why should he suspect anything untoward about the fair maiden he risked life and limb to rescue?

"Ah, Lucas... do you think you could? You know I... can't remember everything yet."

"But of course Amelie, don't fret over such things."

After putting the chicken to the spit, he gladly moves beside to help you out with the greens. And by your demonic aptitude, you learn from him perfectly everything he shows you in one sitting, perhaps even everything he knows in regards to preparing greens should he show you how another couple of times or so. Not the most impressive of skills to pick up, how to handle vegetables, but it's a welcome reminder of your superior aptitude over mortals.

And yes, he did say... Amelie? Right, that's the name the summoner gave you. It's not your demon name but it seems to be a mortal approximation of that. Probably safer to use as your name as well, than going around speaking demonic.

>>2145261
A female disguise for a female demon, it's little more than a mortal "costume" really to hide your true form. It wouldn't stand up against an act of faith however, and you'd do well to avoid any churches.

While working on the greens together then you try to talk about the most pressing matter, of what's next after the two of you have eaten and are on your way again. Lucas is a little embarrassed you can sense, to admit that he doesn't exactly have much of an idea... yet. He mostly acted on impulse to push that hostile fellow (the Inquisitor) out the window when he came after you. After stealing the horse though, he left his life behind to help you. For now he thinks at least, the two of you should find a place you can receive lodging and perhaps an income. His skills as a farrier should be useful in most settlements, and he's sure you could find some work. After that, well with some funds or at least goods to travel on, food an the like, then you could start to make longer plans together.

At least he's honest, and optimistic. You know first and foremost, you need to get back in touch with your supporters in the Hellscape. A lesser demon you were there, and should still be, but you've been gone about a week. Who knows what sort of drastic changes will have taken place in this time... so at some point, sooner rather than later you'll want a place of privacy that you can conduct a ritual of contact to reach your allies below.
>>
>>2145194
>>2145309
We need to get him to trust us even more, above all else would be just perfect.
Show a little skin, brush up against him, all of this "accidentally". In short, be cute and loveable so he gets lost in us.
>>
>>2145309
Act afraid while we're with him! Get him to be more protective of us

Tell him we'll get started as soon as possible tomorrow, we'll repay his kindness
>>
>>2145329
As said, he is already quite taken with you, you can sense as much in him with your demonic intuition. He's of enough moral fortitude to have some restraint though, or perhaps he's just hoping to put things off till you're both in a more secure point and time... that is, not on the run.

>>2145344
>>2145329
Ah but you're faced with a conflict! Surely you should want to enslave this wretched fool to your will, a perfect victim to rob of his soul for your hellish purposes. However, how best do you think to win him over? You could try to learn more about him, or just see how he reacts to what you do. Be it, tempting him towards dark thoughts, or simply preying upon his protective nature you already know.

A complicated choice for sure, but one you can get used to making. For your skill at manipulating mortals and knowing their inner feelings, may well become a useful tool towards your survival and success here in their world.
>>
>>2145365
A mixture of both maybe? Sit next to him and lean on him, ask him about himself while acting afraid, let our clothes loosen

>>2145399
A clever idea you think, to try a combined attack. Why not pray upon every known weakness he has for you, the poor fool will never stand a chance. Not when you can see into his heart.

"Oh but Lucas I am frightened so! What if we're caught? I'm sure I'd be helpless without you!"

By acting afraid you have the chance to draw close to him, lean against him and take his hand in both of yours, holding it dear to your chest in fear. Such a genuine display, he's caught off guard even at first and doesn't rightly know how to respond for a moment. A sense panic, in wanting to do right, you feel in him. Though he doesn't waste time in drawing a arm around you,

"Worry yourself not, I'll keep you safe. This I swear."

Oh to feel so safe against his big strong body, your dainty womanly form shaking life a leaf. How easy it will be to lead this fool astray, feeling his pride swell to your act. What better time then to ask about himself? Both to feed his ego, and to distract him from loosening your clothes a bit. After all, it is getting rather warm together by the fire...

A thoroughly unremarkable fellow as far as he tells you (though you care little to sense if he's lying), growing up in a farming family and apprenticing at a relatively young age. He does delight you with stories of his family though, more potential victims or even a place to seek refuge? You like his simplicity though, a goodhearted and diligent young man, a perfect victim to torment and bend to your will as starting practice. A control subject, if you will, and how. Already you notice before long, him becoming quite embarrassed at catching a glimpse or two at your loosened garments, trying not to draw attention to it. Partly for reasons of propriety, but to your delight as well, partly so that you won't act to correct the little wardrobe mishap as he takes it.

For now it seems, you've certainly got his attention and devotion. A wonderful little first stepping stone along the path to ruination. Something to ponder as you eat breakfast together, and a further stroke to his ego over how much you enjoy it. Though, that isn't an act. More and more you find yourself in love with the mortal world, such simple pleasures like things that taste good. Not the constant foulness and disgust of the Hellscape, you could cherish this little experience by the fire together forever, if the world were so kind.

>How do you proceed?
>>
>>2145509
Ask him to find us a map and supplies to head out soon while Amelie does the ritual
>>
>>2145520
Well you're basically in the woods next to a farm. At this point he'll do what you ask, but to find more supplies will mean him having to trespass and steal again, and more. If you're ok with that though, as said, he'll go along with your wishes.

As for the ritual, well all you need for the most part is a fire which you obviously have here, but do you want to do it right out in the open? Even if no one else happens past, Lucas is to return at some point and if he catches you in this act it will naturally be quite impacting on your current situation together.

>>2145546
I was going to suggest going job hunting with him
>>
>>2145546
You would like to imagine so, but you can't know for sure. It's not like you should be worried about being found in the woods the next day, but if it's known that there's a demon on the loose then it's the Inqusition's job to deal with that threat. Depending on how much corruption you spread though, that could be easy for them or difficult.

For now at least, as long as you don't massively despoil any areas nearby as to leave an obvious trail to follow, and also don't just turn around and head back the way you came, you hope to be fine for the time being.

>>2145585
Hmm, yes that does sound quite appealing and reasona- wait a minute... is that a halo?!

>>2145586
Seeking a settlement isn't a bad idea. More people means more potential risk, but at the same time more chance to gain and build power as well as blend in if you care to. The question is though, how large of a settlement do you have your eye on? It could range from a hamlet to a city, and depending on your preference will determine which direction you go. Lucas knows the way at least, by way of the roads in these parts.
>>
>>2145618
A decently sized rural town would be okay, we could stay at an inn while we work there and Lucas someplace else
>>
>>2145618
I was thinking of a city, find a decent place in the poor district to just blend in or find a nice place outside the city

Can Amelie defend herself pretty well or? What kind of power can she do that we know of so far?
>>
>>2145618
Naw, naw, you're probably just out of it from escaping the inquisitor. Some good, honest work would probably help clear your head.
>>
>>2145695
Yeah! Let's go find some word
>>
>>2145630
>>2145655
Perhaps a midway point then, a village, to get your bearings of things and build up some resources before trying your hand at a city?

>>2145655
Amelie's capabilities are dependent on a few factors. While under the human guise, her power is reliant on how corrupt the area she is in or the things/beings she surrounds herself with. So like right now in the woods, you've not had a chance to despoil the place and so Amelie is only about as powerful as a normal human woman (though mentally you always keep your learned skills of course, including fighting prowess) but if the area were thoroughly corrupted then although still appearing human she would have a great amount of power.

Should she wish to shed the human guise and reveal her true demonic form, then she is not reliant on the corruption of the area to be quite mighty, and only acts of faith can actually harm her. Corruption does provide benefit for sure though, but possession of souls and rituals performed are a much greater benefit.

A small note that the guise, the mortal "costume" disguise, with just a little corruption can be changed at will. Not just your appearance, but your race, species, whatever you please. It's a costume after all, should you wish to change to appear as a child version of yourself, an elf, or even an animal, then you can. This is worthy of note because if may impact how you're able to defend yourself. Corruption or not, naturally a bear or an orc version of Amelie as an example will be more capable of defending herself than usual human Amelie.

>>2145695
Well there's nothing wrong with good, honest work. Corrupting and stealing souls as far as you're concerned, is good, honest work!
>>
>>2145722
A village is fine, we have to get working and get a room there asap before starting to corrupt people with Lucas

We'll just say a normal town then for starters. And indeed Lucas does know of one that would be appropriate he thinks, about three days travel to the east. New scenery, a fresh start, and more than far enough away to not have to worry about the Inquisition... unless you get too carried away.

So for now he douses the fire, you gather up what few belongings you have and together ride off on the horse, seeking the roads. In the process of traveling, it's worth to see if any events of notice transpire. Go ahead and roll a d100 for the duration of the ride for today, to see who or what you may encounter.

>>2145753
You needn't whisper such things (though if you would enjoy to you can of course), but can actually impart such thoughts and feelings upon him, more easily and to greater effect the more you corrupt him.

An emotion as true as love you can't force upon him, that you need to foster the old fashioned way. Trust and affection though, you can feed him, though similarly it'll always be more effective to try and evoke these feelings naturally. Unless of course he's strongly corrupted and you have a vice like grip of him.

While traveling the roads, you encounter the scene of a coach robbery! It seems forest bandits had struck, by trapping the road as to ensnare some unlucky traveler. In this case it was a horse drawn coach which looks quite ransacked. One of the horses is gone and the unfortunates to be robbed try to pick themselves up as best they can.

In your happening past, you're hailed by one you must assume to be the owner of the coach itself, whom requests your help with their misfortune. He and another passenger were robbed of course, but the driver was badly injured, and a horse stolen. If you would be so kind as to lend your own horse so that the coach could be driven again, he would gladly welcome you to join them and would reward you handsomely for your trouble.

A chance to do a good deed perhaps? Or manipulate and exploit this lot? In any case, at the very least it seems like a chance of getting a better start in town than you'd hoped before, considering this lot are headed the same way.
>>
>>2145954
Let's just take the help and lean on Lucas throughout the trip, "accidentally" hold his hand at random and just act happy to be around him

Jackpot. Doing this to gain their trust and some favor in the community they live in would be helpful for getting ahead.

For at least the first leg of the journey, Lucas will have to act as the driver since the designated one is too injured to do the job. Thus you'll be sitting with the owner and his passenger (and the injured fellow of course) and will have a chance to get to know them (or their weaknesses) if you wish. If so specify what you're interested in and you can try to learn it overtime. They certainly are interested in knowing you, when not tending to the need of the injured driver.

Among whatever else you may wish to tell them, you at least act happy and eagerly proclaim your plans to meet his parents and get married. This generates quite a lot of goodwill for the two of you, but at your first mention of this you hear Lucas choke and thereafter can sense his mix of discomfort but also hopeful anticipation.

>>2146074
Yes indeed, this could bode well for your chances in the town you're headed for. Particularly in terms of your donations-to-be for orphans and the downtrodden.

In any case you travel for the rest of the day, already afternoon when you met these folks, and by evening come to rest at a coaching inn appropriately enough. There's also a couple other buildings around at this intersection if you care to explore, but in the way of accommodations the coach owner says not to worry he'll cover the cost for everything.

So you've the rest of the evening to do as you please, with the welcome promise of a hot meal to come and a warm bed waiting.

He might be able to connect us to a good job once we get to his town, and the good reputation can go a long ways if it's a small enough town.

And seriously, let's not go about changing our appearance. Without some contrived plan we can't really expect any changes to throw off pursuers without being noticeable by our company.

You consider staying, thinking this to be as good a place as any to settle for the time being. After all, how big can the mortal world really be? In recalling the favor owed you however, you decide it better not to miss out on the promise to be given later for your help.

So for now you content yourself to spend the evening at the inn aside Lucas, taking in the liveliness of the place, marveling at the mortals and their delights. Taken to a bench at a corner to keep out of the way, you have great fun at observing the follies. A fellow churning out a giddy melody on some hand-cranked music box and a few drunkards dancing about to the tune. Some folks here and there in conversations both gaudy and secretive, and others enjoying the food and drink and harassing the busy pair of serving girls. Some sort of wagering game taking place off to the side, while an elven traveler entertains some children by the fire with his pet rabbit the size of a wolf. And above it all, the general din of sounds and aroma both pleasant and foul hanging in the air, it's all so terribly delightful to you as compared to the sound of torments and the scent of brimstone from the infernal depths.

So much so that you're caught off guard when the coach owner arrives after clearing things up, with dinners for the lot of you including his own companion, that you can all sit together and dine. You're still getting used to this mortal form and so hardly notice yourself drooling at the sight, but little time for ridicule when you dig in ravenously to the humor of the others. You recognize that perhaps you should show some restraint, but you can't help yourself over how good it tastes. In truth little more than a meat pie and some veggies along with a tankard of watery ale, but you'll clean the little wooden plate before letting a tasty morsel escape your new palette.

You offer a valid excuse for your taking to the food like a fish to water, and are so sweet about it that they can't hold it against you.

"Gaspard you said?"

"Yes yes, and this is my clerk Liam. We had traveled to assess the rumors of a magic tree a few towns over, but little good it did."

Not so ravenous to the food and drink though that you can't listen to the conversation, as you get a proper introduction to your generous host and his business partner. It seems he runs a small lumber business in Rocheau, the town you're all traveling to, for the local lord there as well as general construction needs. You learn a bit about the town as well as the fellows themselves (and their families), clearly expressing interest but sure enough not to worry Lucas about it.

Luckily it sounds like this lumber fellow is decently well known and connected (though you sense some bluster from him), and that he can certainly repay you well for your help. Maybe a job if you cared to ask or were interested in the lumber business, but certainly approval from fellow town residents. If you had any particular questions you could ask them, but most of the time you're content to listening to the conversation and learning what you can, while happily answering any questions your way and entertaining with talk of wedding bells. Such cruel torment to Lucas, yet kindling some hope in him at the same time.

Else you care to engage in something particular about the inn, you can just while away the evening at dinner and talk.

>>2147111
Well it would certainly cost him quite dearly in the way of corruption, particularly physical. Not to mention the normal ways of how it would capture his thoughts and emotions for you, even without your supernatural manipulations.

However, you know of course that there are plenty of other ways to go about this. Not to discourage any chosen actions, but as a lesser demon not ascribed to any sins or vices in particular (like a succubus for lust) it's never a bad thing to diversify your portfolio, so to speak. As you are not confined to any one path towards ruination, you can benefit from any style or manner of corruption.
>>
>>2147474
The less magic we use the less they can track us right?
Lets just keep being subtly affectionate with him to entice him further with a mention or two of how we'll repay him when we get settled in the next town

>>2147474
Let's just bide our time for now and keep our ears open. Actually getting a job would ostensibly conflict with our cover story of visiting his parents (as well as generate questions about why nobody in this town's heard of him or his parents), so we should let it seem that his parents are in a different town and wait until we have a reason ready before looking for a job at this particular town.

You don't actually use magic, your powers are on the divine spectrum (though on the opposite end obviously), though that's not to say you couldn't use conventional magic.

In any case, the more corruption you spread the more likely you are able to be tracked by someone with the skills and motive to do so. However it's not like you have to worry about accidentally swearing, you'd have to do something pretty foul in order to really stand out, and continually to leave a trail at that.

In any case you maintain your affections towards Lucas while taking dinner with the others and conversing. Quite a flurry of emotions are stirred up as well, when you mention repaying him later.

>>2147549
Yes indeed, it does occur to you that by your own cover story you're a bit limited in what you can do. For now though you're not even at the town so you can breathe easy. And anyway, a job was just one thing offered, you're sure you could just take payment for your help.

Either way, you spend a pleasant evening before thanking your generous host together, and at his instruction, retiring to the room he paid for you. Interestingly there is also available a washroom for paying tenants if you cared to bathe at any time before your departure tomorrow. First thing first though, you check out the room available to you. Not half bad, a double bed, a few bits of basic furniture, and a little fireplace. First thing's first as you take to the bed and soak in the comfiness with glee, while Lucas unpacks the few belongings you have.

"I say... what was all that talk of marriage? Surely it was... just a ruse, to gain their sympathies?"

He tries to be calm about it but you can sense from him that he eagerly awaits an answer, even if it be a negative one so that at least his heart can be at rest.

Neither a yes nor a no, you've only just met practically, after all. But you'd love to get to know each other, if it seems you are indeed to remain together for at least some time. A friendly enough gesture, as shy as you act about it, till in sitting on the bed you reach out to take his hand. He doesn't reject it but is obviously a little panicked at the idea you engage to sit together. Pulling at his hand, he quickly does so but is more than a little awkward about it and tries to talk about this and that to brush the feeling off, while you simply sit beside him and bunch yourself up all coy like. But maintaining the connection with holding his hand to your lap.

Such cruelty, you can feel the fluttering emotions in him as your subtle wiles, slowly but surely melt his heart. Sure you could take a very active and forward role or even seduce him, but you want him to fall by his own doing. That is the best and most useful kind of corruption; when the victim condemns themself, and by their own actions.

In any case eventually the matter of sleep comes up, as Lucas offers you the bed and he'll sleep on the floor. Tis only proper for a lady, and he couldn't imagine sleeping together when, again, you've only just met. In truth part of you looks forward to having the bed entirely to yourself and cherishing the comfort, but should it not be a chance to further ensnare this fool?

Well, under these most auspicious circumstances, you can more than lure him to sharing the bed. Feel free, if you wish, to choose something to happen within the context of this scenario which normally may be impossible... but at this right place and right time, fate seems to be on your side.

Think of it as a miracle, only the opposite, for a demon. The Dark Powers decree your unconditional success, at whatever you may attempt!

>>
>>2148223
It's supposed to be related to the context of the situation, so a trinket isn't really appropriate, but if the desire is for the 100 to be used for that then I suppose it's fair.

Mostly the player to actually roll the 100 should cast the deciding vote.

>>2148239
Also possible, and quite appropriate given the circumstances.
>>
>>2148250
Fair enough, I suppose I'll support >>2148239 then.
>>
>>2148255
>>2148239
That's fairly appropriate then, that your own abilities would become more powerful from your success.

An aura if you wish it, and persuasion seems to be the desire. Do you want general persuasiveness, or something more specific relating to it? Like holding sway in a conversation? Or by your actions? Or maybe you're particularly good at changing minds, or stealing hearts?
>>
>>2148293
Changing minds sounds great, we would be able to corrupt people by just talking to them and pushing them to do things they normally wouldn't
>>
>>2148293
Pretty much have a higher chance of success when trying to convince an individual to do something they wouldn't normally do.
>>
>>2148312
>>2148341
Very well then, you have a way of changing someone's mind. It's not mind control, if they have absolutely zero interest to doing something and never would, then you can't do much there. But, if there's even a small part of them to consider it, if they normally wouldn't but possibly would given the right circumstances or convincing, then that's perfect for you. Temptation to reconsideration, how you often torment unfortunates in the Hellscape. And now, available to you in the mortal world here, as you've gotten that much more used to being in it.

So that's an appropriate boon, but as for the situation itself and Lucas, are you settling for the original plan of just getting him to share the bed or something more? This is unrelated to the 100 now, just what your goal is in going to bed.
>>
>>2148388
Just share the bed, we have all the time in the world to work on him.
>>
>>2148388
Yeh, sharing the bed and "accidentally" cuddle up to him during the night
Maybe wake up hugging him
>>
>>2148403
>>2148427
Well he wasn't going to accept sharing the bed with you, but at least a part of him considers it and that's all you need, to coyly pitch something about him deserving a bed's rest after all his help and all the travel today and how it should be fine as long as the two of you don't do anything improper of course!

He's reluctant for propriety's sake, but eventually you tempt him to reconsider and accept sharing the bed. Still a little while before you actually turn in for the night, and when you do go to sleep it's a little awkward to be in your normal clothes since you both lack spare changes or even decent nightwear. Still you manage to sleep side by side, and innocently enough over the night find your way to scooch beside him and cuddle in your sleep. He's of course alarmed by this but doesn't want to wake you up, thinking it happening in your sleep.

And so you actually do fall asleep like this, your mortal body appreciating the chance to rest and dream, again things never possible in the Hellscape. You wake up the next morning with your arms snug around him in a hug, as he tries to subtly break free of your grasp before he thinks you to wake up and avoid some embarrassment.

However you choose to proceed, it's a nice spring morning with the day ahead. At your leisure you can prepare for the day and leave the room to breakfast, and before long will be on the road again.

He can't get away that easily, as you reaffirm your hug around him and groan in glee over the feeling of stretching in the morning, telling how you had a most wonderful dream! Before he has much a chance to react, you spring free from the bed, up and eager for the day. A morning person, sure, you're more like an everything person!

In any case you help him pack where you can, then take to breakfast after. The idea of a bath, as would be your first proper wash since being summoned here, would be nice but there's more important things of course. Besides, not like people take a bath every day in these times.

Over breakfast you back and forth tease about the subject of marriage, which increasingly aggravates him, but at the same time you're so shyly sweet about it when you need to that he can't be angry at you and so it only stokes hope. So cruel you are as to know how the mortals feel, that you can perfectly tease and torment them, knowing perfectly how much to either press the attack or to retreat, as to always stir their hearts up but always seem innocent.

After that then, you wait for a little while for Gaspard and Liam to join you and be ready themselves to depart. Hopefully the driver is also doing better, having been seen to and afforded a good night's rest. Anything you care to do in the short meantime while you wait, before taking to the road? Or just wait (im)patiently by Lucas's side?

Well then, you're content to sit there and about ten minutes later and a hasty breakfast on their part, your host is ready to go. In the end a change in drivers was needed since the original one was too injured to continue, but a replacement was easily enough found.

So then, off on the road again in the coach as planned, now getting to side beside Lucas rather than him up front. You try to keep things up between you and Lucas while he converses with the others, but try to keep it subtle. This isn't so hard, when you get sidetracked looking over the side and out at the passing countryside, losing yourself in the verdant scenery of the mortal world. The green grasses and trees and the blue sky, the chill of the breeze and the warmth of the sun, the smell of the fields and of the dirt kicked up by the horses. Though it's only a mortal imitation, little more than a costume, you still feel elation in your heart at all the simple wonders and beauties of the world the mortals take for granted. You imagine home, and it's not all that hard to understand why something as simple as watching a butterfly go by, or tasting an apple, is so delightfully appealing. Not just the sensation, but the peace, the chance to rest. Not the constant torment or paranoia of the fires and fellow demonic kin.

Ah but not too long to rest, your attention is broken by the coach slowing to a stop. Past midday the driver considers it a chance to give the horses a longer rest at a small bridge crossing a creek. Conveniently so, there's also a little makeshift farmer's market set up, apparently in preparation for the passing of a formation of soldiers and a chance for business. Ah that's right, you recall hearing about some wars going on in the lands, and seeing a military messenger back at the inn.

A good chance to stop though as said, both for the horses and you passengers. Gaspard sees a chance to look over some wooden crafts of a carpenter's little stand, but you're free to peruse for whatever you may wish. It's not too much a selection, just about twenty-odd people (and a number of children playing around) and twelve stands or wagons, but who knows? Maybe the fellow peasantry have something you'd like, and your traveling host wouldn't hesitate to buy for you. Or just a chance to stretch your legs in the area.

Alright that's possible. It's not such a stretch that there might be a clothes vendor for soldiers wanting new socks and the like, but selling clothes in general.

Make a roll, to see if they have what you're looking for and how well you can bargain. Maybe your little story can sow some seeds in their mind to gift the items to you, and you're ever so good at convincing people to follow those sorts of thoughts.

So you find a clothes vendor with a surprising selection, apparently some actual clothiers shop burned down and this ma'am took the risk to run inside and steal what she could. As such not only has she a wide amount and variety, but also some pretty rare things too (according to her at least, you've no idea yourself if they are). It's no trouble to examine the other commoners and from them, pick out some basic spare clothes for you and Lucas, as well as something to sleep in. While perusing though, you come across something the vendor considers rather risque, a chemise of very fine and thin linen. Compared to the normal use of such a garment, she suspects it was intended for some noble's mistress as to be tantalizingly revealing as far as the material itself so fine as to hardly hide anything from the eyes. Normally anyone looking to buy such a scandalous thing would be cause for concern towards perversity, though you sell your story about being travelers needing some basic clothes for the road and soon to be married hoping for something... nice for your fiance. Such a sweet story, that the vendor certainly feels sympathy and as to move the risque garment (so as to not need to hide it any longer) she gifts you the selection of clothes you picked out and says to consider it a wedding gift. Normally she would never dream of doing such a thing, but you have a way of changing her mind at even the slightest consideration.

So with the clothes bundled with some twine, you thank the vendor for her generosity and head off on your way. You're quite proud of yourself, knowing to have gotten even the right size of clothes for yourself and Lucas by your estimates of him. It was little effort anyway, so you've a chance still to linger and listen to the folks about and enjoy the hustle and bustle. Particularly you hear some talk and rumors of the war, something to do with some mortal "nation" to the Southeast starting it with their neighbors which prompted other nations to join in either out of obligation or opportunity (the latter seeming to be this nation's cause). Fresh entries to the war though, seemingly only in the last year or so if that, such that there's been no serious battles fought by your countrymen so far, if you feel so bold as to identify as a citizen of this country and so fellow citizenry being your countrymen. You suppose it to be appropriate, as your summoning to the mortal world is about as close as your kind may come to a birth. Certainly your mortal form is something of an amalgam of a woman typical to this area of the world.

You feel confident in being conventionally attractive for your mortal disguise, pretty, but spending time around more and more people you start to get a sense of what the men, at least the human ones, find appealing in a more... physical way. A fair few it seems find curvier women with more shapely frames, better endowed, to be more attractive you notice. At least when it comes to the body. You consider changing yourself as such, not such a risk as changing your face since it's not like anyone's seen you without clothes on.

For now though, you log that away when Lucas finds you among the small crowd and drags you after him back to the coach for a lunch and to be on your way. His surprise over seeing you to have obtained a few sets of close, is overshadowed by his curiosity when you mention having a surprise for him. Ah but a surprise it is, and though he may dwell on it, you're more interested in lunch. Obtained from these farmers, it's a lot of bread, cheese, milk and other farm derived foodstuffs. A neat and scrumptious contrast to breakfast earlier.

So before long you're all back on the road again and on your way, for the rest of the second leg of the journey. As evening approaches and Gaspard considers to stop somewhere, there's no inn you've passed or expect to come upon, but a little riverside mill and gravel storage is as good a landmark as any. Following along the property it's not long before you come across a laborer's barracks, and easy enough for Gaspard to smooth over an arrangement with the foreman for some beds for the night. There isn't much in the way of privacy, but as a lady they afford you some moveable barricade walls to form a little makeshift room for you.

Not much a chance to share a cot with Lucas then, but it beats sleeping outside. There's a big communal dinner among the workers, but Gaspard is of a mind to just dine among yourselves and make it an early night. You're free to act as you please though, of course.

You're fairly content to just keep close with those whose names you know, and cling to Lucas much of the time. When alone even you hesitate to admit, shy as you are, your feelings on the matter.

"Oh Lucas, would that we could share a bed again... t'was such a splendid rest I had last night, I am disappointed in missing the chance again."

"If we are to be honest with one another... I must admit, I share your feelings."

A good step forward you feel, as he'd have been to embarrassed to admit it before, but now you're able to talk about it at least shyly. You sense that he does want to for the most part as well, no need for your manipulation, but there's simply no way you could share one of these cots. In any case you waste no time in rushing off to your makeshift room, leaving him at a cliffhanger so to speak.

At least it's only for one night, then next you'll be at your intended destination with proper lodging.

>>2149468
Certainly you can start to impart this upon him, as you've already begun corrupting him and your influence is worming its way through his heart and soon his mind. Mayhaps in time he may even become addicted to you, but how do you wish him to long for it? Physically seems pretty easy and obvious, your touch together, but it doesn't have to be that way. You could make him long for any aspect of you, from your appearance or smell for example, all the way to even the sound of your voice or sharing conversation with you. Or perhaps even more insidious, like certain feelings which are reliant upon you, like the satisfaction of being able to provide for or protect you, or the pride in being able to claim you're engaged.

You sleep soundly, lost in dreams and may well have slept through until it was too late. It would seem fate is on your side though, because you're stirred awake at some point to the sound of someone stumbling within the little makeshift room of yours. It's almost pitch black so you can hardly see, you you can sense for sure someone is in here with you, and a strangely familiar, dark presence at that. You're not sure what to make of it, till the other regains themself from tripping over a wooden stool you'd placed your clothes on, and in a panic lunge for you. Only barely do you avoid taking a dagger to the chest as you roll out of bed to the floor, for the attacker to land right where you were and drive a dagger through the cot, tearing sheets and bedding in the process.

If only Lucas were here, you could give yourself vision in the dark, but without shedding your human guise you're stuck with normal eyes. You can hear just fine though, the person choking out... is that demonic speak? You're sure of it, you can understand that! They're clearly trying to remain quiet though, as they struggle to draw the dagger form the bed and in the process lean over the cot to grab you and try and pull you close. Probably so that you can't get away from the next stab.

In a panic once grabbed, and not sure what else to do, you resort to what the mortals do when they're in trouble and need help; screaming! You shriek as loud as you can and plead for help, Lucas in particular, and right away hear commotion about your room. By the time the assassin pulls free the knife, already some others are pulling aside the makeshift barricades and trying to make sense of what's going on. Being so dark it doesn't help, and it seems too late as the killer brings the knife for another stab, this time holding you fast. In a moment of quick thought you lift up your pillow as high as you can above you to try and stop the stab from reaching you.

It may well have in fact, but your screaming by now prompted at least one or two fellows to just throw themselves at the noise even in the dark, knocking you and the killer over before he can bring the knife to your chest even through the pillow. After that is an intense struggle you can only hear, till you feel a familiar presence of Lucas picking you up and carrying you aside. Not a chance for night vision as a few men soon hurry over with torches to shed some light on the situation. Already one man is convulsing on the floor and screaming terribly, soon to fall dead as the other wrestled with the killer and by the light, many more rush in for retribution over their fallen comrade.

"Amelie... Amelie! Look at me, are you alright?!"

You're intently trying to watch the fight unfold but Lucas grabs your head and forces your attention to him, naturally concerned for your wellbeing. You don't feel injured at all, luckily, but want to watch the fight. By the time you get a glimpse of it again, the killer has already been subdued, but struggles mightily against the few men holding him back. There's lots of shouting around, for what to do and over the poor deceased, as well as what to do with the killer. Apparently it's a fellow worker, which is obvious cause for concern, over why he would do this.

You don't expect the shouting to die down until one of the foremen breaks it all up or someone takes charge, but you can try to be heard if there's anything you want to do? At the very least, you're getting the sense of two dark powers, one from the worker and one from the knife now discarded and kicked across the floor.

Between the collective anger and the heat of the moment, over the guy killing one of their own despite being a fellow worker, and from you relying on the age old women's tactic of screaming rape at him, it's not great and it's not really clean but you're able to work the group into a fever pitch such that they basically beat the guy to death, finishing him off with a shovel.

Who was he, what did he want? You don't really care, if it means less suspicion directed towards you. Particularly when in the commotion you can get the knife, to examine later probably. Obviously the folks gathered are confused and angry, but your crying and lament over it all draws a lot of sympathy to you, and by the time one of the foremen arrive to sort the whole mess out, there's little care or concern about why the guy was behaving like that and more over what he did. Besides, the rumor around you can listen for, is that he was a weird one anyway and wasn't too friendly. If you like you could try to stew that pot of suspicion and dislike more, but as it stands already, no one is really sorry for his death and the foreman although angry that this all happened isn't too angry about the group killing of the guy. Not after he killed a fellow worker after all.

You continue to play up being traumatized while they move the bodies away and try to get a story out of you of what happened, but naturally they're easy on you and don't expect much from a hysterical woman. You also request to sleep with Lucas but again, the cots are single-sized. The best you can hope for is sleeping in one next to him but not really enough to consider things "joined".

Still though, through and through, it seems fate was on your side tonight. Just barely, else you'd have been much worse off than the assassin himself.
>>
>>2149805
Do they have any bed sheets or pillows? We'll gladly take the floor if it means being with him but if he doesn't want to we can sleep next to each other

After that we need to act shaken up, have those thousand yard stares, zone out constantly, be jumpy and tear up at random

>>
>>2149814

You can definitely play up the victim then, and can sleep apart just for one night as to not have to do the floor. You even feign waking up in a fit a few times, and by next morning you've definitely got Lucas's constant attention and even the sympathies of some of the others around.

Interestingly, over breakfast you hear rumors that the foremen checked through the assassins living space and belongings, and apparently had been dabbling in heretical rites in private for his own gain. To them that's enough excuse to believe he turned evil or went off the deep end, probably tried to kill a woman (you) as a sacrifice even. Before long folks are spitting on his grave more or less, so you're not at risk of being suspected.

It is a bit concerning though and would explain some things but at the same time lead to many more questions. In any case, you maintain the traumatized act and by the time breakfast is done you're more than ready to go, all of you with Gaspard only too happy to leave this place behind. As perhaps a nice little parting gift at least, the foremen offer you personally what would have been the remaining pay for the assassin. It's not much and they know it can't make up for the awful experience, but hopefully it will help. Of course you can feign reluctance for this, but you know it will most definitely help.

Otherwise, if there wasn't anything else you cared to do, you can take your leave.

Perhaps for the best, you hold off on examining the knife for now, since no one even knows you have it. You just play up being traumatized, and measure letting it subside overtime, with the support of Lucas and the others.

At any rate you ride in the coach with the others for the last leg of the journey to the intended town destination. Things pass by well enough as you listen to the conversation between them, though interestingly along the way you pass by a patch of paved road remnants as the driver slows down to someone seeking help. It seems a group of locals are in a skirmish with some goblins taken up residence in a ruined watchtower, if you care to get involved at all. They're not expecting seasoned soldiers or anything since it's just goblins, so any extra hands would be welcome.

Gaspard isn't too interested in getting his hands dirty, but Liam and the driver wouldn't mind giving the horses a break. Lucas could get involved too but he doesn't want to leave your side.
>>
>>2151491
Let them get involved if they want we'll stick to holding onto Lucas
>>
>>2151491
Don't get involved and try being affectionate towards Lucas again

>Cup his cheeks in our hands.
>Look into his eyes

>Move in for a kiss
>Shyly turn away and apologize
>>
>>2151491
Assuming that goblins aren't a serious threat, we can let anyone interested go to help.

While they're out, apologize to Lucas for being rattled lately and thank him for always being there for us, almost like a knight out of the storybooks.
>>
>>2151528
>>2151508
Well it might have been a bit weird getting affectionate right there with the other fellow present, but you're not getting involved in the skirmish at any rate. To stretch your legs you and Lucas go for a short walk, where you can keep close with and cling to your would-be protector. You act reasonably affectionate towards him and sense his ever increasing emotions towards you. Cruelly you even thank him for everything and with a hug, you look him in the eyes and go for a kiss but back out at the last moment to really twist the knife. You sense his emotions overwhelming though, when he unexpectedly pulls you back after turning away to take the initiative and kiss you instead. Surprising, but not unwelcome.

"I-I... forgive me, I know not what came over me..."

But you know exactly what, trying your best not to grin with cruel glee over your accomplishment, and sensing your grip over him stronger than ever. At least you take it as a chance to ease up on the trauma, and feel confident in dropping it altogether by the time you reach the destination.

Elsewise, anything you care to do before departing then?

Very well then, you've no reason to linger, and are fine to let the situation with the goblins resolve itself. It's not long before Liam and the driver return and you're off on your way again.

The rest of the way is pleasant enough and nearing sunset, Rocheau comes into sight. A hilly town on a river, you're glad to have made it this far away form where you were summoned, as far away from where the Inquisition would be looking for you. At any case, within an hour the lot of you reach Gaspard's business with the coach and horses seen to, whereafter he invites you along to the bigger inn within town. It's evening already so he doesn't expect much to get done, but he can cover your accommodations for now and then tomorrow you can get things sorted out about finding your feet and getting your reward.

Neither he nor Liam will be staying there though since they have their own homes and families to get back to, so for the meantime it'll just be you and Lucas in town.

>How do you proceed?
>>
>>2151833
Let's go looking for work with Lucas but let's check this inn first if there's no available positions let's go out
>>
>>2151833
If we want to keep our story plausible, then tomorrow we should see about perhaps leaving to the outskirts of town temporarily to simulate meeting with Lucas' parents. If the town is large enough then the idea that they're farmers or woodcutters or something outside the town proper should make it difficult enough for anyone to figure out that they don't exist.

If pressed on why we wouldn't just go and stay tonight, just sheepishly explain that we want to pitch our love to his parents under the best circumstances possible.
>>
>>2151964
Oh damn
I got my own story wrong, i wanted to make it sound like the town is still a ways away and this was just a stop on the way
>>2151833
What do they get from my story op?
>>
>>2151981
We can play it either way, really.

It's faster to pretend that they're just randoms on the outskirts of the town here, but it's safer to pretend that they're in another town then go there, pretend to meet them, and come back to look for jobs (perhaps with the implication of having wedded).
>>
>>2151881
Well Lucas is already skilled in his profession, but you could seek work wherever you like. Remember that you have a strong edge over most any applicant, when you can influence people to your will. So getting a job at an inn is one possibility.

You can make a roll for what job you're interested in seeking, and how well your attempt goes at getting it.

>>2151981
>>2152013
The rough idea you sold them is that you're going to meet his parents, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are in Rocheau, just that they would be near it. Could be a next town or village over, or even a farm some distance off.

That's if you're trying to stick to the story, at least.

So you accompany Gaspard to the inn and let him take care of the accommodations, thanking him for being so generous thus far, but he thinks nothing of it! Your help was the greatest, else he'd still be stuck on the side of the road. So after bidding farewell for now, Lucas wonders what to do for the evening but you up and walk about the place looking for the owner. Presenting yourself as a capable young lass and more than skilled for the job, you make a good case for being hired as the new cook.

As it turns out there is already a cook (whom you'll probably want to get rid of eventually) but you're convincing enough to get hired as the assistant cook pretty much on the spot. This is a pretty good arrangement you think, since you don't know the first thing about cooking aside from what Lucas showed you, so you'll be able to learn everything the cook knows in no time at all and then oust and replace them. You do specify though that you may not be able to start for a couple of days, but the owner doesn't have much a problem with that. Not like you took the job and then stopped showing up after some time. Just consider it your start, for when you return.

Returning to Lucas quite smug with your efforts, it also puts some pressure on him since you were able to get a job so easily, he'll have to hasten his own effort tomorrow. For now though, as he'd first thought, how do you intend to spend the rest of the evening together? As expected you've accommodations taken care of, including food and whatnot, but you're certainly not forced to remain here at the inn.

You don't have any destinations particularly in mind, just to get a feel for the town really. So you take to the streets with Lucas to wander around for awhile, nice to build up an appetite as well.

You're out for about an hour or so, enough that night has a chance to soundly set in. To your approximation, the town is largely separated by north and south, by the river. The north side is older and more built up, originally about the church and structures which sprung up near to it. The southern side is the more populated one with most of the common folk and housing, though as expected there's some crossover from both sides with some folks living on the northern half and some more official buildings on the southern half. That's just the rough idea though, and on the outskirts it's more simple. Most of the north side is expansive farmland and fields, with dense forests to the northeast, while the south side marks the hilly expanse towards the highlands and mountains beyond, so is dominated by herding land and also some particular crops.

The most notable landmarks within the town that you come across on your walk are the church of course, three smaller temples and shrines to lesser gods, some walled portions here and there, a keep, the market, town square and green, river docks by a few warehouses, a small arcaneum tower and library, and a waterlogged dungeon serving as a jail and asylum. You could surely turn up more with a more detailed search, and there's sure to be places of interest outside the town, but you only kept within.

A vigorous little walk though and a nice time out, cut short by your own feelings of certainty at gaining a feel for the place, and by Lucas driving things back to the inn when you remember to let him know of your surprise waiting. So the two of you reach the inn again, one of the three "proper" if you could call them that in town, certainly this being the biggest. The familiar hustle and bustle of nightly mortal activity and jovial festivity, as you take to dinner with Lucas. Have you any plans then on how to spend the rest of the night? It's entertaining in the common area for sure, but you're free to join in on anything, refuse, or go about something else altogether.

>>2152736
Most certainly, I'm sure you could creatively come up with your own horrid way of doing things, but both your mortal disguise and *especially* your demonic self, you can sow corruption and befoulment into the food, curse it, and various other nasty things. Or just do mundane stuff like drug it.

>>2152754
Are you interested in prying? Or just having a plain conversation? In a sense you don't even really need to verbally press anything because your grip on him is nearing a point where you can basically sense what he means or could be hiding, but it's just a question if you're actually interested in any of that stuff.

You have a heart to heart with Lucas over, and after dinner to learn more about him but try not to pry, since in many ways you don't need to.

He seems like a good fellow, as much as anyone. He comes from a farming family but wasn't the oldest. You sense a good amount of bitterness in him about that and he even admits he's not close with his family, since he was never set to inherit the farm so he had to find success for himself which led to him becoming a farrier. How a fine and decently handsome young man like himself isn't taken by now, you also can glean when he hesitates to reveal all about a girl he was sweet on, but suffered the affections of a landlord's son. You sense a good amount of self-loathing from what it sounds like that Lucas still could have been with the girl, but didn't want to (in misplaced anger) after the affections of said other man. So he ended up leaving to the city where you were summoned, and found work there and was starting to get some good experience with horses besides what he was used to until he met you.

His ambitions, well after the black stain with his family he would love to have a farm of his own or in some way exceed the success of his older brother. As a good-hearted and loyal lad of the nation though he also feels obligated to take to the armed forces given the war going on. He probably would have even, if he hadn't met you of course and decided to help you out. On this you sense something dark in him, some painful emotions over a past, and seemingly similar event, but you can't figure out exactly what without hearing more from him but he avoids talking about it. In any case, now with you on the run (but possibly to settle here for a time) he's kind of put his plans on hold for now to see where things go with you, before he starts determining which direction to head next.

A good amount you learn from him, and a good chance to hone your skills of sensing and feeling meaning and emotions. He does want to know about you as well though, if you're on the topic of yourselves. Of course basic personal details like your basic life story, but he's also quite curious (and concerned) about the fiasco with the Inquisitor that he risked his hide over for your sake. He hopes he hasn't made a mistaken, in helping you.

If you care to list out a history and explanation for yourself you can, couldn't hurt to figure out a mortal "story" for yourself to stick to, in case other people ask. After that though, you want to go straight to your room and change into that special something?
>>
>>2152966
Just shrug, as we said we don't remember much, the one thing we remember is that we're an orphan since we were little and since he saved us we've had flashes of what seems like memories during the journey but nothing to go on about

>>
>>2153175
Not to most people, just to Lucas. It isn't exactly the sort of story we'd tell to strangers.

In most common cases, I'd figure we'd probably just try to pass ourselves off as something generic like a starry-eyed commoner looking to make a living with her husband-to-be.
>>
>>2153196
In other words, we trust Lucas enough to tell him the "truth", but our regular cover story will be much more generic.
>>
>>2153196
Very well then, you can sell Lucas on the idea of you being a minor noble who rejected an arranged marriage. To this though he has quite a dire reaction, not only feeling like he has to be very much more deferential towards you and apologizing for any casual behavior thus far, but he also worries about your family or groom and the repercussions they could amount to down the road. Definitely a very big, and very hard thing to swallow all of a sudden, when he'd thought you a commoner like himself all this time.

Naturally he comes to suggest seeking out any nobility in the area here for assistance, and you sense his hope dying on the vine in knowing that the two of you could never realistically be together. That is, based on his knowledge and assumption of nobles which is low regard given how he lost his first crush to one.
>>

To lighten mood, you remind him of the surprise, as you tell him to clear up the table so you can go on ahead to the room. Quickly unpacking the clothes, you remember the dagger but don't have the time to examine it now. Instead, throwing off your clothes and checking over the body of your mortal disguise real quick, you don the skimpy nightwear and await your would-be champion.

A little longer than you'd expected, but Lucas enters into the room not sure what to expect, and his jaw practically hits the floor. You sense a rush of emotions in him, as he tries not to panic yet can't in good faith, follow his heart.

"Amelie?! If this is your idea of a surprise, I'm sure you've mistaken our circumstances..."

He tries not to look fully as you shyly await at the foot of the bed, but you can sense the mental image of what he did see weighing heavy on his mind. The issue of course is that, this sort of familiarity is the kind of thing best reserved for folks who actually are going to get married or even after that. It's certainly a surprise and not an unwelcome one, but he thinks it's too much, too fast.

At least that's what his morals are saying. It's pretty annoying to you, since you can feel his emotions at war with his mind to go with what he wants, what he wants to do. And all of this without manipulating him to do so, only acting conventionally, so that he has to make the decision himself. And so he does, at your encouragement, as he moves up to kiss you again. Light at first, before he takes ahold of you with his hands and things get hotter and heavier, and you move onto the bed together properly.

With the disguise, everything about it is entirely your choice. It's basically like changing a costume.

>>2153673
Is that something you're after? Again, with the disguise it's as simple as your choice if it happens, but it's a pretty significant thing to happen.

>>2153677
So then you enjoy a passionate night together, eagerly participating in the union of bodies and expression of love, but never using your power to manipulate any of it. You could, you could do some awful, horrible or amazing things, but the more things naturally occur the more corrupt the act is.

Genuinely tired afterward but happy, and amazed at how great it all felt (isn't this mortal body, this world just so wonderful?!), you lay together with your unfortunate lover in shameful, sweaty, but loving embrace. Whispering sweet nothings to one another among the messy sheets by the candlelight, you marvel at how much clearer your feeling of him is and how much stronger your grip over him is. You're sure at this point you could just simply ask him to do anything and he would out of love for you, but if need be you could influence him to do so as well.

Interestingly as well, you can feel the corruption from such an improper act, lingering in the air, saturating the room. For it you feel that much more powerful in your form, though for now you keep your focus to Lucas. As his passion slowly subsides, you can sense doubt, guilt, and other misgivings creeping in, but you do your part between your influence and just mundane intimacy to drive those feelings and thoughts out... or at least keep them at bay.

>Sleep? You're both tired after a long day, and now this to add the cherry on top.

As if he had any chance now, the poor fool. He's yours now, body and (soon enough) soul. Gleeful over your corruption, you happily but tiredly kiss and snuggle till falling asleep together, drifting off to strange and wonderful dreams.
>>
>>2153758
Does it give us any benefits other than locking him up further?
Would the kid be another disguised lackey we can use here?
>>
>>2153772
Benefits over him, not really. It could benefit you in various ways, like you said it could be a lackey if you wished and took the right care, though it wouldn't be a demonic one at all just a human without a soul. Since it's basically your human disguise doing all of this, rather than your true demonic self. Basically whatever your form is in doing something like this, would determine how the offspring turns out. Some other ways too, like even on a mundane level some people are more likely to take care towards you and help you out if you're an expectant mother.

The thing to consider though is that presently things are still up in the air for stability in your lives, like being settled down or not, if you're still in danger, etc... so a kid could certainly complicate things. As well, you don't really have much power built up, and depending on how you want the kid, any you have might go entirely to that.

So it's not like it would be of no benefit and depending on your choice and creativity could be a good benefit. But it's definitely risky at any given time, let alone the present where things are already risky and unpredictable/unstable.
>>
>>2153782
Eh
I'm down for it, we can get more power as it comes to term
>>
>>2153782
Meanwhile, I'd personally not risk such a thing right now. Things aren't quite stable yet, as you've said...
>>
>>2153782
How long would we be with child before giving birth?
>>
>>2153829
It depends what form you assume. The current one at least, the human disguise, in a sense it would take as long as you wish it to. As the form is merely a disguise and you can change it to your will, to an extent the same applies to the child. At least as the disguised form, think of it like a "designer baby" except in this case you can change it to be however you want and your only limit is how much power you have. If for example, that baby is one which is super strong, has green hair, ages to maturity very rapidly, and the gestation time only takes a month, then as long as you have the power for that you can accomplish such a feat.

If you invest literally nothing into it, then it'll be a completely mundane baby, taking nine months to term, with the only difference being it would lack a soul since your human disguise cannot create true (possessing a soul) mortal life such as a human.
>>
>>2153857
Welp
And we don't have any power now right? I say we wait for a bit more, when we have more power we can get a strong kid
>>
>>2153870
The human disguise form only has as much power as corruption spread, particularly around it. So you've got a notable amount in relation to your corruption of Lucas (and power over him) as well as in this particular room, though it's an inn room so not reliable. In the grand scheme of things it's only a small amount of power, but within context it's enough to start influencing Lucas to your whims, both emotionally and mentally and now even spiritually or physically (similar idea to the designer baby concept, if Lucas is corrupted enough you can shape and change him as well). It's not enough power yet though to go wild with some super baby that would take no time to be born.

The demon form's power comes differently, but then a baby from that would be completely different. Not a human imitation but a cambion, an actual half-demon, which is something completely different.
>>
>>2153889

Well you can figure out those things later. Otherwise you sleep soundly and well, only awakened late next morning to Lucas stirring, trying not to wake you as he gets out of bed. You cling fast to him not wanting to let go, snoozily acting all sweet and just wanting to laze in bed together for the morning. He says he'll be right back though and kisses you before leaving the room.

So you have a little while to yourself, as you stretch amid the covers and cherish the soft feeling and Lucas's lingering scent, before sitting up and thinking about last night and your situation overall. You can't help but laugh and kick your feet, hugging yourself in glee over how happy you feel. Such a wonderful feeling, not just the sense of accomplishment in your corruptive ways, but a genuine sense of joy at how great everything is for you in this moment, in this intriguing and fantastic mortal world. It's only been a little over a week, but you've already gotten your own little human life for yourself here with all the ups and downs Such a complicated and strange transition from an enternity as a lesser demon in the Hellscape, to posing as a young woman on an exciting jaunt through the mortal world with her mortal beloved.

You're sure fellow denizens of the fiery abyss would deride and torment you for all of this, to have "gone native" so to speak and within only a week or so to have already lay with a mortal, among other things. In fact you'd probably have cursed yourself for such a thing... that is until actually getting to be here, to go through with all of it, to actually experience all the material world has to offer. Like you've said before, there aren't strawberries in the Hellscape. Such a widly different and contrasting experience to an eternity below, even just a week of this is too good to be true... and the thought that you could live here for as long as you're careful enough, to not get banished back? Why shouldn't you hug yourself and laugh in glee?

In any case Lucas soon returns to find you like this, bringing a smile to his face to see you so as he carries a couple of wooden plates and mugs, asking what you're so happy about while bringing you breakfast in bed. Lowering to his knees beside the bed to help set the plates down and hand you a mug, you delight to the smells and sight of it all as he watches you take a sip before trying to think of something to break the ice, after last night.

You were enjoying yourself so much that the sudden marrying talk catches you off guard, as you respond flustered and not even acting that way. You come to admit that last night may have been too forward with talk of wedding, but you're very enamored with him for sure. All of this, over you digging in ravenously to a hearty breakfast and trying not to lose it over how good it tastes.

Lucas can't help but laugh at seeing you like this, though it does pain him a little you can feel, that you're not as on board as he is with any marrying talk. Especially after last night, guilt over doing such a thing out of wedlock and all that. Sensing this though, you figure to ease his worries some at least.

"I'm glad my first was with you."

You say so sweetly yet with a mouth full, that his worries are all but banished, and it brings a smile to his face as he moves to sit on the bed next to you now, giving a kiss to your cheek. Yes, always better to make the mortals act of their own will rather than manipulating, even if it would be easier and you very well could.

"How then shall we handle the matter of... meeting my parents?"

There's the excuse and story you gave to Gaspard. It seemed the idea was to leave town here for a couple of days at least under the excuse of completing the story, but Lucas is open to talking about it and whatever the plan may be, if that's changed at all or is still the idea.

Fair enough, you could laze about in bed all day but there's things to be done! So you jump out of bed and get dressed together. Pretty dirty yourselves not to mention your clothes, but who isn't in these times! Gathering up all your things together, you head on out first to get your horse and then meet with Gaspard at his place.

Liam is there to greet you managing the business front of things in an office connected to a warehouse by the river, but he can direct you to the owner no problem. Gaspard is busy overseeing things after the time away, getting things back in order but he can certainly take the time aside for the both of you and asks how things were at the inn. Your story of course is that you're both off to see Lucas's parents so will be away for some days at least, to which Gaspard won't beat around the bush; your reward. Yes, if either of you needed a job he'd be more than happy to provide, though it seems in this case you're both covered for that. So instead if you'd like he can just give you a monetary reward as thanks, unless you have something else in mind he could grant?

Money it is then, as he says to take that up with Liam then who handles that sort of thing, and he thanks you once more before you leave and wishes you well. Going to see the clerk, he says this possibility was already discussed with the boss so there's some set aside for you in case. Handing over a jingling leather purse, he similarly wishes you well and bids you good day. Politely you accept it of course and wait till you get outside, but quickly thereafter tear into the bag, expecting something... quite different.

Ah right, they use gold and such for money up here...

You'd hoped it would be something like hearts or teeth, but instead a decent amount of gold coins. Guilders, apparently they're called according to Lucas. No small amount either, 150 in total which shocks him and he's never seen so many in one go, let alone owned as much. Though, he does come from a farming background.

By the sound of things though you should be able to live decently well off this for awhile, or invest it well if either of you had the brains to do so. Without a place to call home though, living off it seems the right idea. So then, you're interested in seeking a job for Lucas, or to wait till after your little retreat from town?

Well as a farrier his skills will always come in handy so it's not even something you really need to roll for, just pick and choose what sort of business involving horses you'd care for him to get a job at. And of course, how far in or out of town.
>>
>>2156816
It'd probably be best for Lucas to pick the job for himself; he probably knows what to look for and what variation would best suit his trade skills.
>>
>>2156842
Well if it's up to him then he'll just find a job at a stable as before, hopefully one owned by either a moneyed or prominant local figure. Coming from a city, he's likely to get the job on that alone, regardless of his skills.

It's easy enough to ask around a little and get a rough idea. Outside the town are outlying farms and smaller places of habitation, like family groups or individual workplaces. Farther out are the cardinal directions, with dense forests and an elven enclave to the east, the highlands and mountains to the south with a mountain village before the mountain passes, the river continuing west with a waterfront settlement downriver aways and some supposedly haunted moors and ruins a little north of that, and then properly north the fields, farm and grazing lands with a couple smaller villages assorted here and there and a string of various fortifications and an abbey.

So you and Lucas hop on a horse and ride off from town, deciding to follow his wishes of keeping things relatively close rather than heading out far in a particular direction.

You ride together at an easy pace along country roads off the main ones, passing by various farmsteads and locations of interest. Eventually though you get stopped by a young lad by the side of the road who asks if you're going anywhere urgent, if you'd be able to lend the help of your horse? This horse, you've more than got your money's worth out of him. Anyway it seems they were trying to make use of a new plow and see how it worked, but their donkey broke its leg in a dire gopher hole. The good news is, donkey meat tonight, the bad news is they still don't know if the plow is worth half a damn. If you'd be willing to help, they'd be glad to have you for dinner.

This seems as good as any, an easy way to get into staying with these folks if you care to take it. From the outlook of things, it's two families with houses close to each other whom perform a joint effort in farming this land for a local noble. It's not as you might have hope with one large house and two families crammed in, but it's pretty close.

It's none too happy, but about an hour or so and a lot of work, the farmers are content, and you've earned that invitation to dinner. It won't be for a good few hours still but they offer you to tag along back home in the meantime and get acquainted with everyone else. If you care to roll as well you can size up the two families.

Well hell, with a roll like that I think it's fair if you (players) feel like putting forward one of the families. No more than 6, but you can either do a few or one each. However you care to make them out, and I'll handle the other family. For every family member put forward (and accepted), that contributing player can get the chance to reroll a roll they make. Likely one they aren't happy with.

You should have ample time as well since this will be my last post of the night probably, but will cotninue tomorrow as usual. Thanks all for playing, and as always feel free to discuss, plan, ask questions in the meantime, and refer to the discord.

So you accompany a few of them back to the farmstead and get to know the two families leading up to dinnertime. Between the two, you've got the Perrins and the Mullers.

>Mr. Perrin, head of one half of the farmstead and a hard worker at the fields
>Mrs. Perrin, his diligent wife and general homemaker
>Eliot, their young son, a vibrant lad oft playing around with his friends from neighboring families
>Tess, their younger daughter, a shy little thing oft helping her mother or trying to follow after the other kids
>Adrien, uncle of the family and apparently a bit irresponsible
>Maelle, his adult daughter, a nice enough lass who tends to the livestock and usually working at pasture away from the farm

and for the others, whom you actually eat with and get to know a little including some of their vices,

>Mr. Muller, an unpleasant older fellow who is doesn't get around much from a war injury, and has become quite fat and a bit of a glutton since his wife spoils him. Annoyingly he keeps trying to set you up with his grandson.
>Mrs. Muller, a caring older woman who dotes on her husband and much anyone really, usually cooking constantly and how very proud of her role in the farmstead as the matron.
>Noam, their grandson, a bit of a romantic with his head in the clouds. Not in the sense of pining for love or anything but hoping for bigger and better things in life and a world beyond the farm, like his siblings have had. As such, is why his grandfather wants to saddle you with him, to get him a wife to settle down with in hopes of grounding his dreams and so to inherit the farm.
>Mila, hired help, an overly friendly and personable lass currently working as a milkmaid and tending to the Muller's animals. You get some inappropriate vibes from her towards Lucas, not like actively seducing him or anything but at least checking him out often and being very open and talkative towards the newcomer.
>Dylan, hired help, a bit reserved and secretive and you get vibes of selfishness and greed from him, seeing and sensing his behavior.

and their dog, whom is naturally very suspicious of you and growls and tries to bite, causing them to kick him outside. This is all leading up to dinner of course, you can get involved in any way you like, or act as you please. Lucas at least, is hoping at some point or other to get onto the topic of accommodations so that you both can stay for awhile.

Those things could work, but a reminder that you don't only benefit from lustful sins. You're not a succubus, you gain benefit from any corruption, that includes sins of all types.
>>
>>2160978
Can we do anything to the building to corrupt it? Like carve pentagrams or something
>>
>>2160978
In that case Mr Muller could have something with Mila.

How would we go about it though?
>>
>>2160984
Indeed you can, you can inscribe various demonic text and symbols around which wil passively spread corruption (though could be problematic if found) or alternatively your own physical form is a corruptive presence. The disguise form has less of an effect but your true demon form is significantly despoiling, even lingering in effect.

>>2160988
How might one tempt one to sin? If you can imagine a way in which you would lead those two towards such a corruptive path, then you can start going about it. Whether that means trying to convince them of something, dropping hints, setting up situations for them to be it, it's down to your creativity for such a situation.

Naturally the more you can get them to act of their own accord, rather than using actual demonic manipulation, the better. Like if you can convince something to happen just by talking, or what have you.
>>
>>2161095
Let's see if we can fool the kids into spreading symbols around, tell them it's a good luck charm but it only works if no one sees them, which means they must be hidden from view!
>>
>>2161115
Alright yeah, that's quite a clever idea and if it works it could serve you well. Go ahead and make a roll, to cover your attempt and how well the kids can manage.

After we've played with the kids let's have a walk with Mila to explain Lucas is taken and she would do better shooting for either Mr Muller or Perrin. Either could entertain a mistress and provide for her in secret.

Talk with Dylan too, they must have some small fortune amassed, if something were to happen to either family where would that money go?

Well you're not acting as a true demon so you can't just manipulate willy nilly, not supernaturally at least. They're kids though, it's not hard to just talk with them and convince them it's a game or something, a secret one played and kept between you and them. That doesn't require manipulation and with a 98 you can convince them enough to keep to the rules of the "game".

So over the coming days you can expect them to start inscribing demonic sigils all over the place, hidden as best they can. Perhaps even text for your own demonic name, if you're so bold. And this is all before dinner!

>>2161160
So you have a hearty dinner with the Mullers, in thanks for your help with the plow. Lucas will see about finding a place to stay, while you take the time aside with Mila and go on a walk to get to know one another. You explain how you and Lucas are taken with one another which doesn't seem to dissuade her much as she asks if you wouldn't mind something if that's what you're bringing up? Rude girl, you ought to punish her for that. You do sew thoughts of perhaps a secret fling with one of the Mr's of the homestead, for her own benefit and financial gain. Well Mr Muller is too old and gross to her sensibilities, but she hadn't considered Mr Perrin. Seems like a decent idea if she could pull it off, but she wouldn't even know how to approach that, have you any advice perhaps?

And finally when returning from the walk, you try to catch some time with Dylan too but as expected he isn't talkative. You'd need some manner of breaking the ice with him, that isn't just a friendly approach and a smile since he seems wise to such attempts. Maybe you can think of something, which would get through to him...

In any case, it's evening by the time you've done all this, quite a lot for one day. Lucas was able to get you both a place to stay in a little storehouse along with Dylan and Mila, basically where the hired help is staying. Pretty meager accommodations though it's not winter or anything, and perhaps you could try to get a better place to stay but you don't want to be greedy... right?

We've probably corrupted lucas enough, but she probably won't go for it until we can influence her more. Let's start a little smaller, but I'm down for it when we're ready. Start off with the stealing, and if she wants to try and steal lucas, let her. Encourage it, even. Corruption for both of them, more power for us.
>>
>>2161350
She said she would go for something if we didn't mind, let her and ask to watch then join in?
She sounds already up for it tbch
>>
>>2161298
That's quite a clever way and not so basic as just tempting them yourself. Letting them to steal from one another is letting them to condemn themselves without even a sliver of influence from you.

Either you can wait then till your influence builds up in the area to be able to know what they covet, or you can try to search yourself for these things now by making a roll.

>>2161315
Something need done as in work? Because they'll gladly have your help around the farm, during which time you can get to know and influence them better.

>>2161331
That might be jumping the gun a little early, but you could try to see what Mila is interested in for sure, at least.

>>2161350
So for tonight at least, before setting about scheming tomorrow, how do you want to conclude things? Try to seek out valuables for folks to steal, or just retire early to get a good night's rest with Lucas? Or if you had something else in mind...
>>

Get Lucas to "accidentally" meet with Mila alone
>>
>>2161380

>>
>>2161414
How much are you hoping to have come from such a thing? Because you could plan out a meeting well enough but you know Lucas well enough that he won't fool around on you.

>>2161421
That's fine yes, starting tomorrow you can start seeking out work to help out with (and learn) for the duration of your stay.
>>
>>2161380
We should ask her then, she looked eager enough.
>>
>>2161433
Let's do
>>2161438
Then, maybe we should both go?
>>
>>2161438
>>2161446
What I meant was, it takes two to tango, yes? Well one isn't willing, unless you actively impress upon Lucas to do such a thing, which is going to raise suspicion in him. Basically he's too much in love to fool around, however willing Mila may be.
>>
>>2161459
Welp, drop subtle hints and try to subtly influence him to a threesome
>>
>>2161498
A bit much to expect on the fly, like this evening, but you can start suggesting him towards this if you want. Basically you can probably get him to do what you want as long as it has your approval. Doing something that way is more palatable to him than going behind your back.

So you take to bed then for the night, in the same place as Dylan and Mila. It's not great but it's better than sleeping on the ground in the woods. Plus you've got Lucas to snuggle up with to make it better.

In any case you awaken the next day to his rousing, as the others get up dreadfully early to go to work. So it seems with farm life, you're glad it won't be yours in the long run ideally. Of course you could just take to breakfast and then back to sleep, though you did seem to want to earn your keep while here.

The interesting thing is, you can feel your influence over the area higher than before. The kids must have gone about after dinner a little last night, already hiding some demonic sigils around. The results of which you're acutely aware.

>What lies ahead for your day?

You're getting along with Mila so why not spend the time working with her then? She doesn't mind having help along at all, cheerfully pulling you along to help her carry pails and feed. First thing's first, milking the cows as per her primary job description, then going about and tending to the different livestock. In helping her out and watching her, you can pick up all the skills and everything she knows on the matter of these jobs, but of course you can spend time during the work talking and enjoying each other's company. Although demon yourself so you share about as much in common with her as you do a man, it's still a nice contrast to spend time with a woman and see how they differ from mortal males, at least human ones. As well you can pick up style and tendencies from her and behavior, after all your mortal disguise (at least by this form) is supposed to be a human lady so why not get the hang of it?

If there is anything particular you seek to accomplish while spending the day with her though you can specify and try, or if you care to just learn more about her or something she knows about. In any case it's not hard to become friends with her as well, overtime.

Well you were supposed to be doing work and helping out, but you're too lazy and it's so boring. She's used to doing the work on her own though and you're very entertaining to her and are worth a laugh or three, as long as you help carry some of the things around she doesn't mind doing all the work. You as well can... tolerate her presence. You don't care for how chatty she is, but her open and easy personality is a nice contrast with Lucas who is devoted for sure but a bit too proper to your tastes. Mila by contrast is fairly crude and raunchy even if you let her, or at least normally doesn't care about propriety at all and just enjoys being herself. Not openly sinful or weak, you just sense she doesn't feel so restricted or confined by faith and morals. Maybe that makes sense as a city girl, you come to find.

In any case you entertain one another in your own ways, but subtly try to influence her, and get Mila to trip and fall on her own so to speak. You could just entice her to something, maybe she'd even be open to it. Better to kindle interest in her first though, that she makes the choice herself.

Easier that you'd have thought. It's not as though you can start making out behind the shed, but she doesn't even care to take it somewhere private when you bring up a massage. Not something she really considered, of course the work is hard but she'd always just taken her grits and sucked it up. And here you're relating with her problems and offering to rub her back and stuff for free? Of course she'll take it, and after lunch sitting by the chickens together, she loosens her top enough so you can get at her back and shoulders. At least that's what she thinks you're up to. You imagine you could push it farther and she likely wouldn't care that much, you're both girls here right? But doing a good job now would make her more receptive later.

Unfortunately you don't really know what you're doing as you squeeze and rub your hands on her upper back, neck and shoulders, but she doesn't seem to mind and at least some of it feels good. You get the horrible temptation, would that you were demonic, you brand her with your mark here and now on her shoulder. Ah but that would be too quick, in any case you seem to do a good enough job as she thanks you and offers the same if that's all you want to do with her. Else you can get back to work, or proceed as you wish.

Not bad so far though, it's only been half a day and already you've gotten your hands on her in more ways than one. She's nowhere near Lucas and your grip on him, but already you can feel the corruption trickling its way into her, and you've a better sense of her emotions and nature already.

Let's get massaged
Act aroused! Flush our cheeks, subtly rub our thighs together then back to work!

I approve! Well, the first part, the second might be pushing our luck at this stage.
>>
>>2161775
>>2161794
Sure you could go for something like that, can't hurt right?

Well, you try to put up an act at first but it's not much an act before long. This really is something else, getting even just your shoulders rubbed, why the physical sensation is just too much for you to handle! Even as your mortal disguise, you can't imagine as a demon. In any case, you try to act aroused but lose yourself just to good feeling on a basic level, and Mila laughs at your expense.

"Hah, don't get too excited now!"

You thought to tease her but she teases you all the same. Wretched girl, you'll definitely punish her for that. Ironically as a further tease and intent to go too far, you suggest further relaxation at a bath. Ironically, she's more open and accepting to this than you offering her a massage. Quite literally a case of "just girls", that something like bathing together isn't an issue at all really. You probably have more in mind than that, but she was of a mind to go down to the creek together by the afternoon anyway to cool off. An actual bath, well she's sure she could ask Mrs. Muller for the hot water for one. It's been awhile since she's properly washed, so why shouldn't you share the chance and save on hot water and all that?

Probably after dinner though, if you're serious. Either way you can get back to work, feeling much better, easier in your body than before. You ought to get Lucas to do that now, every day why not? Anything to seek to do then for the rest of the workday? It's early afternoon so another few hours should do it, if you had any other minor goals in the meantime. Else you can just get back to it and finish up.

He sharpens up a little when you approach, but seems almost relieved that it's you and not someone else. Either way he bluntly asks what you want.

Thankfully after spending the day so far with Mila you've picked up a lot from her, and acting more feminine than you might have, you're able to act friendly enough with Adrien that he's alright to talk with you rather than just brush you off. In particular you ask how he's doing and if he needs anything, questions which he doesn't take well to. Same with asking about his niece and nephew, kind of annoying if he's being honest but there's no harm there. His daughter though he's very fond of you can easily tell, how much he opens up to talk about her. It seems her mother died when she was born and she's all Adrien has or cares about in the world. A depression over his late wife, seems to have done him low such that he's never really recovered and only cares at all because of his daughter. Otherwise he'd be even worse about drinking all day and not doing anything worthwhile. Of course none of this he exactly admits but you can tell it from him and how others of the family regard him.

Pretty interesting and good to know at least, and didn't take up much time at all.

He normally wouldn't give you a drink, but your acting like Mila is enough that he at least considers it. So you take a swig but backwash all of it basically, best you can without being seen. It won't be so sudden as he'd obey you right away, but actually ingesting part of you has a strong corruptive influence, and if you spent a time drinking with him and doing this, he would be much more under your power. Over the short drink though you try to act nice and conciliatory and even get close, as to let him know how you feel bad for him and he deserves better. He's had a run of bad luck and rough times, but he shouldn't suffer forever. There's nothing wrong with a fine man like him moving on and finding love again, it's what his wife would want. Or at least, nothing wrong with sharing companionship of a woman sometime.

He reacts poorly, mostly over the pain caused about bringing up his wife like that, and angrily tells you to leave him alone. However you can sense in him that it's mostly a knee-jerk reaction, and that part of your message resonates with him. Likely more attempts after he's had time to let it sink in could produce results. Normally none of this would work on him, but it's just a sure sign of how well you're learning to tug at people's hearts and also your increase in influence over him even if only a little.

So to his wishes, you take your leave and go to find his daughter instead. You wander around for awhile looking where she might be, even heading out to the pasture. You find some of the herding animals both big and small that she should be tending to, and signs of her belongings. Unfortunately you don't know how to track so without giving yourself advanced senses to follow her, you're stuck still just wandering. It's about an hour or so later but eventually you catch sight of her but have to duck down to avoid being seen yourself. This is well beyond the farmstead you're sure, in some of the wooded area of the commons. It's clear why she might come out this far though, when you see her sitting with and kissing a young man. Probably some neighboring fellow or from town, by the look of things this is a secret she is keeping or else she wouldn't be sneaking off to do such things.

Maybe not such a perfect daddy's girl after all... how do you proceed?

You enjoy yourself to hide and wait and watch, see if anything develops. If you could you'd be whispering and calling to them to keep going and do more. In the end though it doesn't progress. They sit and share each other's company, caress and kiss for periods of time between talking but that's the most they do. At least as far as you see, till eventually the fellow takes his leave and they share a long goodbye hug and a kiss before parting. A close call as you almost get caught, on her way back Maelle passing right by you but not noticing in your hiding for cover. You can continue to stalk her but she returns back to the pasture to collect her things again and just mind the animals for the rest of the time till afternoon subsides and evening sets in.

At any point of course you can make yourself known or approach (or do something else, follow the guy even if you cared to), since there's no longer a need to hide. Shame things didn't go where you'd hope they had, but still it's a delicious secret to have stumbled upon.

You decide to sit on this for now, especially when you've got plans. So you sneak around the long way to avoid Maelle altogether, and head back home. You wander around for a bit looking for Mila but get intercepted by Lucas, back from a day's work who is rather forward and amorous with you. You're surprised at first though soon realize it's like withdrawals, after you poisoned his mind to feel empty and longing when not with you. He expresses and says as much, for sure, and is quite affectionate as to make up for lost time.

It's not long till dinner though, and then the bath afterward. You could probably do one thing before then or get involved to help with the preparation. Then if there's anything over dinner you'd like to see about or do, you can. THEN, finally once the bath is prepared you can take to it with Mila. Assuming you want Lucas to catch you, feel free to construct the scenario as you hope it will play out, for you, Mila and Lucas. Like actors in a scene!

So you offer to help with the cooking. You don't really know much of what you're doing but following after Mrs. Muller you're able to learn quick. Probably couldn't hurt to help out with the cooking more often, as practice for your job as a cook, since you can basically know everything these women know and they're great cooks.

Of course, you also take the chance when you have it to spit in the food wherever you can. It's not as corruptive as if you were fully demonic, but it's still a great start. And so over dinner you just hang close to Lucas and enjoy yourself while feeling slowly but surely, your influence rising over the household and the inhabitants.

Afterward you offer to help clean up as well, you and Mila so Mrs. Muller can get the bath water going. Interestingly the landlord stops by to see how everyone is doing, and interested to meet you and Lucas. A moneyed fellow, he seems to own or otherwise control the land here and the two families work it for him while he manages his own farm estate. He's not a noble, but perhaps because of it, a nice enough fellow. He says if you're still here next time he comes by, he'll bring a gift for you to take. For now he'll just be dealing with the head of each family here for the next couple hours.

In any case though, by the time that's through and you've cleaned up after dinner, the other family members are setting about their own evening activities but the bath is ready which is your main concern. A big wooden washtub at the back of the shared barn, it must have taken a lot of water and it makes sense why Mila was open to such an idea, they'd probably not consider doing this for just one person. In any case she's there ahead of you and once inside together she shuts and ties off the doors for privacy, not expecting anyone else to come along. With that taken care of, she wastes no time in undressing, not wanting to waste the water while it's hot. Quite inviting for sure, this will be your first chance to properly get clean since your being summoned to the material plane over a week ago. Any motives you have though, besides getting clean of course.
>>
>>2162873
Oh and of course you can do the stealing items and leaving them out, it will just take another day (tomorrow basically) to understand the family members well enough to locate their valued belongings without resorting to conventionally searching about and stealing them.
>>
>>2162873
well, just by being in the water with her will seep our corruption into it right? we could probably talk to her about what she wants to do with her life. whether she has anyone she's looking forward to marrying, commenting on her figure, things like that...

>>
>>2162925
That's right, your physical form is corruptive and so your body passively spreads it. Something like taking a bath, will taint the water.

>>2162929
You undress near the door to subtly untie it, that Lucas might get in if need be, then join Mila. She wasn't wrong in her urgency, the hot water to your body is an amazing experience that you can't help but soak in it for awhile before actually getting to things. Though, you've never washed before, bathing in blood of the tormented in the Hellscape isn't exactly the same thing. Not difficult to watch Mila though and follow her example while the two of you talk. About various things, if you care to specify or point the conversation, you can make a roll to see what you can get out of her. Depending on the result, may well determine your grip over her.

And of course, the assumption of when Lucas might happen by.

>>2164569
You know, I've been thinking... we really need a goal here. A long term one. Right now, corrupting this family seems good, but what after that? Become queen of a nation? Open a portal for our sisters and brethren? Start up a new religion that preaches sin is not as bad as the church makes it seem, and secretly has demonic influences, with Lucas as our champion? Start a crusade against the church with said new religion? Just gather a harem of powerful men while we work from the shadows? There's a lot we could do. Perhaps now is not the time to decide, but it's something to think about.

I'll roll for this. And ask her what she thinks of the politics of the area.

Well since being summoned, it's been pretty high on your list to get in contact with the Hellscape again. Every moment you're here, is a lifetime there, that your powerbase and domain of control get eroded.
>>
>>2164602
Wouldn't mind being queen. Could turn Lucas into a hero-like figure with our 'blessings' and have him basically form his own nation. Not sure how that'd go doen though. Maybe get the current monarchy or some noble to grant him a title and work our way up. Lucas, king of a nation of sin, man of many, many concubines. Could even do all that other stuff then, like set up our own 'church.'
>>2164627
Well, that's an immediate goal to accomplish then! What ways are there to do that? Just gather more power for ourselves through corruption and then link back?
>>
>>2164631
No it's really as simple as just contacting them via a fire, you could do it at any point. Though, obviously privacy would be a concern. Same thing with the dagger used to try adn kill you.

You decide to keep it simple and just gauge her opinions on immediate things. How does she feel about you, men, maybe a little more...

Well about you, she thinks you're fun to spend time with and a good new friend. If she didn't like you she wouldn't have wanted to do something like this. You don't get much a sense of attraction from her though, maybe a little but normally it doesn't seem like she would be interested in such things... though not impossible to twist you imagine. She does have a clear interest in Lucas but more as just a new and passing guy through her life, not like love at first sight. A city guy though, she doesn't see that much so inherently he's interesting for that. The friendlier she gets with you though the less she's keen on making things complicated for you and him, with her involvement. For men it seems pretty standard fare, confident, handsome, stable, and most of all able to drag her out of the countryside to more interesting things.

All of this easy enough talk over washing yourselves to get clean, probably about as mundane talk for two young ladies as you may expect of mortals judging from Mila. Out of curiosity though you also ask what she thinks of the politics of the area. That she's got some opinions on, none too happy about the whole nobles and commoners stark class notion. Particularly in the sense that she's clearly jealous, you can sense great envy from her towards nobles. Not like she wants a revolution and to tear down the system, but she's definitely of a mind of "If them, then why not me as well?" And the logical conclusion that her dream guy might as well be a handsome noble fellow from the city to sweep her off her feet and make her a titled Lady. Ah, but that could be said of most commoners, couldn't it.

In any case you have a nice enough time talking, and can feel your grip over Mila ever tightening the more time you spend together, and close as this. Your focus is so, that you almost miss on noticing another presence outside. Someone peeping probably, as you planned. You sense fear of being noticed or approaching, but also strangely the lack of as solid corruption in them. Not like Lucas, which seems to indicate that... it isn't him outside.
>>
>>2164735
As we bath act overly sexual! Bend over to scoop up water with our back facing the door, drip water onto our front while facing the door and get a massage going with Mila

We could accidentally grope her but I don't know who's outside
>>

Sorry just had to make sense of something with the rolls.

Hey, there's always Queen of the Hellscape! You're a lesser demon, but why couldn't you be a greater demon, arch demon, or even the most foul? The Fallen One has had his day for sure, why shouldn't the fiery abyss have a new ruler?
>>
>>2164735
A peep who isn't lucas? hm... could work in our favor. If we were to make a show of our body by getting out and putting on a show and ask her what she thinks of it, and in turn subtlety grope her (like asking her tips on giving massages), that may inspire lust in our watcher. Then, if lucas does show up, he could catch the peep, and give the other person in the bath a feeling of relief that she isn't being spied on anymore and get points with lucas. hell, we could even give her a bit of an exhibitionist streak instead.
>>2164743
oh, archdemon. I like that.

Certainly more attainable than something outside of your faith's purview. Becoming worshipped as a god in your own right? Oh ho is that a risky business, even if the payoff is juicy.

>>2164747
>>2164741
You're not to keen on making a literal show of it, since subtlety is the key, but you can certainly get closer and even hot and heavy with Mila under the guise of having fun and being playful. You're both clean so a bit of horseplay didn't hurt anyone, so what if that means a squeeze here or rubbing together there. You mix up wrestling in the tub, with innocent enough talk about massage form and body confidence, mixed messages enough to confuse her to acceptance. And although she laughingly tells you to stop at times or that you're getting carried away with your roughhousing together, though you know she may not be attracted to you in that way, she's still getting more excited in an intimate sense. Enough squeezing here and rubbing there, even by "accident" can still trick the body whether the mind cares or not.

In any case you almost lose track of being watched, as much fun as you're having both in the basic literal sense and also for how you're poisoning her with corruption and tightening your manipulation, until you hear a commotion and shouting outside. Mila reacts in a panic of course, hearing at first and then seeing the door opened more, and herself tries to figure out what's happening and calls out. After a scuffle you hear outside, Lucas responding that he caught a kid, Eliot spying on the two of you.

Well that's unexpected, the Perrin's son, though you suppose he's a growing boy. Little pervert that he is, curiosity is no excuse for damnation. In any case Lucas is of a mind to give him a roughing up for his behavior but asks if either of you care? Mila is surprised but she seems to mind a lot less when she hears the whole thing.

"Eliot? Well I'd not thought the lad had it in him... oh he's but a boy, it be a stranger thing that he weren't peeping at his age."

She's of a mind to just tell him off and let him go, but you can give your input. A fellow country girl and farm worker, this might not be such a big deal for commoners but for a betrothed and proper city woman? She can understand if you'd be upset.
>>
>>2164780
Aww. Kinda wanted to go for godhood, myself...ah well. We'll work something out later. Long term goals!
>>
>>2164786
Not that it's not possible, but it's a very complicated business as well as complicated in risks.
>>
>>2164780
No, let him go. He's innocent for now. Just tell him to not do it again.

now, if lucas leaves like the good little boy he is, we can confide in our bathmate that we were secretly hoping he'd come in or peeped too. On the off chance he does come in due to our corruptions, best to act flustered and tell him there are two girls bathing in here, where we'll then see how she responds. Although, I think it would be better for now if he didn't, actually. it's risky at this juncture. Might depend on how aroused we made her earlier.
>>2164789
getting upstairs involved is never good. church is already bad enough. We'll see how it goes, though. Does getting more powerful makes holy thing more or less effective against us?
>>
>>2164780

So does Lucas wanna join in? :^)
>>
>>2164793

>>
>>2164794
>>2164793
Nah, he's just a boy. Lucas can tell him off then let him go. He then apologizes for that, even though you know he himself was coming likely to do the same but Eliot got there first. Because of his feelings towards you, Lucas probably wouldn't come in then, though your grip over him is strong enough that you could dearly ask or outright manipulate him to. As for Mila, well short of actually asking her, her conflict again is towards the situation between you and him. She'd hate to come between that, the friendlier she gets with you. Even if she wouldn't mind it, though in this situation it's not exactly conducive to getting carried away since you're just having a bath. What's Lucas going to do, just sit and watch, then the lot of you just go to sleep after that? Kind of weird to imagine a segue into getting carried away, without a heavy handed manipulation on your part.

>>2164793
It depends how you mean by powerful. If you remain confined by your own theology, then the holy thing doesn't get more or less effective it just changes towards you. Straying outside your theology would work in the same way but even more differently.

There's a difference between a holy symbol, prayer and faith, the effect of such things against a lesser and greater demon, just as there is a difference between the effect of such things against a demon at all and a unique god unrelated to demonic theology.
>>
>>2164810
Here's an idea. We get up, go over to Lucas, cover his eyes, pull him inside the bath, kiss him, then send him on his way. After that, we head back, finish up the bath, and have a conversation about Lucas with her. I'm sure we could twist it into a 3some somehow right now, but it feels early. Leave an invite instead. Like, I saw the way you looked at him, I wouldn't mind. If we can, kiss her too.

So you get up out of the bath, dripping all over the ground. Mila asks what you're doing, but you just walk barefoot to the door and open it, surprising Lucas with the sight of you as you are. Covering his eyes and dragging him inside, he makes excuses and apologies about Mila there but you shut him up with a kiss and tempt him into acting affectionately together. It's not long but Mila is left only to watch as you sense this, and don't break contact with Lucas till she's enthralled that she doesn't even act to cover herself up when you prompt Lucas to catch sight of her. She meekly chokes out a

"H-Hello..."

While quite red herself, and you sense a flutter in her heart for him to see her like this without shame. Lucas himself may have some opinions about all this but you give him one more kiss and shove him on his way, shutting the door behind. A tease for the both of them, as you smugly return to the bath and relax back in the water, taking awhile to let it really sink into Mila before asking her. Though she admits you're lucky and she wish she had what you had, and a man like that, you sense an intimate longing. She also apologizes for her comments yesterday about asking to be involved with him, seeing how the two of you are into each other and how she could only get in the way of things. Particularly when you're getting married. A third wheel, she couldn't muck things up with her attachment, even if you sense she longs to. To have, to get to experience what you just did.

"Oh, but in some sense... you can."

To really drive the nail through her heart, you move throug the water to her and take her up in a deep kiss. A sharp and sudden panic you feel but she doesn't resist, and gets lost in the feeling. Only when you draw back does she react,

"Are you mad?! What was that?!"

"Why, a taste of Lucas of course!"

Your words pierce her heart as realization sets in, and she goes quiet in her feverish excitement, her heart hammering in her mortal chest. Touching her lips and feeling the taste, you can sense such conflict in her, such strong and competing emotions... and such corruption strangling her soul. You of course just lie back content as ever, to close your eyes and stretch out, relax with a soft smile on your face.

>>2164872

>>
>>2164868
Pitching the idea, hm? well, there are several ways to take it. She wants it, but she doesn't want to admit she wants it, so we just have to get her to admit it... We could say it could only be a one time thing (although that could push her away), could go and say that we have been somewhat overwhelmed by him, and that we have been the one trying to get poor innocent lucas to get more women. dragging him into brothels and such, but he won't do it. She has an interest in him, and he has finally shown interest in another woman, and we want to have our beloved husband happy. and doesn't she want a taste from the source, rather than second hand? could even mention that lucas could take her away from here, all of us could stay together, give her a stable life.

Well, by some miracle of the universe you don't fail miserably, and instead construct a rather creative and effective proposal to her. About how Lucas is good enough a man that even a noble like you could give it all up for him, this appeals to her for her feelings towards the upper class. Furthermore that you gave it up for him, but he's too much for you, and of course you want his happiness for as happy as he makes you so why shouldn't he be satisfied. And in this case, for that to happen, means Mila getting what she wants even secretly.

You present a great, if scandalous reason to give up her inhibitions, and never relent or give her a chance to doubt or question otherwise. The conflict rages within her like a sea's torrent, but your tightening grasp, your hand on her heart stills it to one outcome; to give in to what she wants. Not just in the here and now based on desire, but what her ambitions seek and what Lucas could bring to her life.

In the end she doesn't stand much a chance, and finally caves in, a bit grudgingly over her shameful admittance of the truth and her defeat, to ask what can be done? You seem open to the idea but is Lucas? Does he know, does he care? She wants what she wants, but how can she get from here to there? On her own she doesn't think herself capable, and implicitly is relying on you, hoping you can arrange this as confidently and with such promise, as you spoke of to her about it.

She's not begging you, but she might as well be, with little remorse as her soul blackens, and fouls.
>>
>>2164915
huzzah!
well, we'll probably need to talk with lucas in private for a moment, like letting her stand outside the door while we have a brief chat with him. I'm sure he'd be all for the idea if we tell him we did it for him. And use some of abilities to refine his body a bit more into what we mean by 'too much for one woman to handle'
>>
>>2164921
There's the issue that someone might ask what she's standing outside the door for if someone happens to walk by. Just tell her to go to get her room or something while we talk with Lucas for a moment and do some improvements, then leave to go get her.
>>
>>2164921
>>2164927

I was thinking of blindfolding him and letting her ride him, let him think it's us then slowly make him realize there's two women with him.

BUT
This sounds much better, enhance him a decent amount to make them both believe it. Shyly admit to him that he's always been too big and that we enjoy ourselves too much during intimacy but that it's not fair for him.
>>
>>2164921
You'll have to smooth things over, so you tell her to take her time a little more while you get out of the bath to dry off and get dressed to a basic amount. After leaving the back room of the barn you quickly seek out Lucas and pull him aside, as he tries to ask what all that was at the bath but you shut him up with this proposal. You can sense the gears in his head turning over the idea, but in the end his heart strings pull him back to reality as he says he's flattered you'd go to such a length but also a little hurt that you'd imagine such a thing to happen. He's in love with you after all.

For his agreement/participation, you'll likely have to manipulate him to this which you can do as you have near total control over him. But on his own, even if the idea is appealing, he wouldn't betray you.

Also as for "refining" his body, you don't have such a corruptive control over him that you can just rapidly on the fly alter his form as you would your own. It's possible but it would take time, not something you can just do in a matter of minutes.

>>2164927
A fair consideration then as to where you intend for this little tryst to take place? Mila and the two of you are currently staying in the store house where Dylan also stays, so it's not like you could simply draw a curtain and hope to go unnoticed.
>>
>>2164933
Maybe we should take a raincheck then. We'll have to find some place secluded for our debauchery. Also would give us time to make some changes. We could even ask mila.
Can't he see we're doing this for him because we 'love' him? Mortal men dream of bedding two women at the same time, don't they?
>>
Going to bed, good luck y'all
>>
>>2164939
Fuck, just noticed it's 1 in the morning for me too...
>>2164938
Yeah, could say we talked to Lucas, and being the wonderful man he is, talked some sense into us and our gungho attitude, and that we'll need to find somewhere away from prying eyes to do this.
>>
>>2164938
Maybe some men do, even he would have. But that was before you had plans on getting married and fell in love, as he believes.

Mila on the other hand, will understandably be disappointed but not totally sworn off the idea. Because your proposition to her was more than just a romantic affair but a potential life change, she's of a mind to hope that Lucas and you could possibly bring her with when you leave. A foolish farm girl's hope, and she even knows as much, but a hope nonetheless. If that means not taking place this night, rather than when you leave in a couple of days, then she could hold out for that.

>>2164942
>>2164939
Well it's late here to so expect my last post to be this or soon after it. I'll try to run things longer for tomorrow, with a better understanding of my schedule, but we'll have to see. >>
>>2164942
It's 3am here :^|
>>
>>2164945
Well then, we'll just have to instill in his mind that, he has us, but he most definitely deserves more. To love and be loved, it's a special thing. Of course we're getting married, we'll live a long life together, be a family, but what's to say he couldn't have more? A wife and a concubine, or two... We'll we'll always love him, but to turn down someone else that has also fallen in love with him like we did just because he has his sights set on only us? That wouldn't make us very happy.

As for Mila, of course we'll change her life.
>>
>>2164955
You could instill this in him overtime, just as you might change his body to suit your needs. Probably a few days to a week depending on how radical of changes you have in mind.

It seems for now an agreement to postpone any "activities" then and just settle to sleep for the night. A nice enough rest after a long day and a great wash, and by waking up next time tomorrow you feel all the more empowered by the steady spread of your influence as well as the sigils inscribed more and more around the farmstead.

A new day then, free to act as usual. How much longer you're planning on staying here though would probably be good to figure out, both for the sake of the hospitality of your hosts and also for the assumed time you were to be away from town to "Meet parents".
>>
>>2165107
A week? Two? Maybe three? Three seems stretching it.

We should find a place to do that fire thing soon. Some room with a lock and no holes to peek through.
>>
>>2165129
More than a week is pushing the limits of hospitality, you can expect to be thrown out after that.

>>2165150
The "bathroom" is a bucket you empty outside. The bath is a back room of the barn which it itself a proper room, but still has two doors and a window. Your room isn't really a room, it's just one side of the storeroom where you're sleeping on some bedding on the floor.

Of the lot the room in the barn is the best but it's still not great.

Might be better then to talk to Mila about places where one can get some privacy then.
In the mean time, who do we shadow today...? Maybe Maelle? Could do that item thing now while everyone's working and tempt Dylan with them, if we have an idea of what's valuable here yet.
I'm tempted to say noam too, but probably not yet for him.

You decide to hold off on just running out into the woods to start a fire, however in going to bed as usual, if you care to specify how you may want to alter or "improve" Lucas you can, and it will start to take place. Just keep in mind that at some point or other he's going to notice his own body is changing and become suspicious.

>>2165164
>>2165201
Dylan seems to be your intended target. Shadowing him might not be so feasible since he's a field laborer, unless you want to be working hard in the field all day as well. However, you can start to seek out folks' valuables and enact the plan to have others steal them, including Dylan if you think he'd go for that.

Just clarify how you're going about the day, and for the items who you're robbing. Sure enough you can rob everyone but probably not in one day.

As for Dylan I can't come up with anything.

>>2166942
Yes, things of meaningful value are good as well, not just basic wealth. Go ahead and make a roll to see how you fare at sensing the prized possessions of Mr. and Mrs. Muller, after talking with them and feeling for their attachments.

>68

So after talking with the two of them, you can sense what their most prized possessions are, with the amount of corruption you have over the household. Mrs. Muller greatly values a pearl pendant that was a wedding gift, though a problem that she's nearly always wearing it. Mr. Muller values an old journal belonging to several men of his family and their writings, but that should be considerably easier to steal. It's not as valuable as jewelry for sure, but the book itself has been rebound and improved overtime, that it's obviously worth something.

All this, over breakfast.
>>
>>2167033
I dunno if Dylan would value the book but we can try to get it while everyone's working, how does that sound y'all?
>>
>>2167049
Well, we know their most prized possessions, but one of those is hard to reach while the other is probably not appealing. I'd say check for things that, mobile not prized, are known to be valuable within the house and use those instead. Perhaps work our way up to that necklace by selling him on stealing something valuable that wouldn't be missed, at first.
>>
>>2167049
Well if that's just it, that's quite simple enough to pull off without hassle. At least everythinig leading up to how the situation actually plays out. The journal does have intrinsic value, it's just not as desireable as something like jewelry but then that's not a fair comparison to begin with.

>>2167212
That's easy enough to do even without a roll. If you'd like you can start just pilfering anything of worth and scattering it around. It's likely not to cause as intense an uproar as something meaningful, but it will still lead to conflict no doubt.

It didn't even need a roll! But after breakfast you start stealing what you can of obvious value and start misplacing them around. You can't go overboard without being obviously suspicious, but you can get a surprisng amount for sure. All you need to do is give it some time then, let the situation explode on its own which you're sure it will.

How then do you want to spend the remainder of the day, or at least enough till returnng later, like by noon or after that?

>>2167251
Well, there's that thing with maelle, but rather than following her around all day and hoping for something, why not just mark the area they were in with some unholy symbols? Later on we can talk to her about it, maybe. Could go out to the village and see about persuading an inn keeper to let us borrow a room in a few days, or let us have privacy in one of his rooms for a moment right now. That's a big maybe, as we have corruption around here to help us with our persuasions... wouldn't help to try? What do the people here think, since I'm not sure about this part.
>>2167258
Trying to do something with the water supply may be a bit too fast, too soon.

Well then, to give the pot time to simmer till the conflict explodes, you find a chance to sneak off from the farmstead to one of the forested areas nearby. In leaving the farmstead you can feel your power weakening as you leave an area of corruption, but it's only going to be for awhile.

"URAAAGH! WHO DARETH SUMMON ME TO- oh, it's just you Amman. Are you finished with your little vacation yet, satisfied with getting bedded by mortals like some cheap wench?"

"Creidhl... damnation be, why did it take a traipse through the mortal realm to realize how ugly you are?"

Ah yes, one of your devils, a devoted... a loyal... well, a servant anyway. You own him outright along with a few others, your own little band in the Hellscape to rule over and torment.

By struggling for a bit to make a fire, finally you manage, and with the spilling of some blood the fire roars high and green before settling to a normal size. Though still green, but within you can see the other, in this case your devil. You've now a direct line of communication with the Hellscape, ideally those you rule over but you could contact others if need be. Anything in particular you care to discuss?
>>
>>2167353
How are things going? Do we need to go there to help? And we're also working on getting some souls
>>
>>2167353
Nothing much for now so keep it short. Just a quick status update on both sides, then put out the fire. We're planning on gaining some power in this realm, and then put out the fire. Never know if there's eyes and ears around.
>>
>>2167353
We're working on things. Also hi.not much else to say other than 'I still live, bitch.'
>>
>>2167358
>>2167359
A status report couldn't hurt, right?

"Everything has gone to Hell!"

It seems since you were summoned to the material plan, things have gone quite badly. Over half of your servants deserted you, defected, or were captured or killed. Other demons and devils of equivalent rank moved in the moment you were gone and your own boss to whom you are subservient wants your head for abandoning your post or worse. Perhaps most insulting, a former minion of yours did most of the betrayals in order to climb up the ranks himself to take your place in this time of turmoil. Needless to say, your cache of souls was cleaned out in all the conflict.

The good news is, that you still have a couple relatively loyal to you, or too afraid to go against you even in your absence. Some who are willing to try and regain your lost position and hellish glory. Four in total it sounds like, three underlings and one equivalent rank ally, as well as another equivalent rank whom you've at least dealt with in the past. The three underlings are two devils (including the one you're talking to currently) and a demon (your son from below), while the ally is a demon and the potential cooperator is a devil. A pretty even mix all things considered, but still not what you used to have.

You don't suggest returning because of how rare an opportunity the one you currently have is, not to mention how difficult it would be to return. However, your minions can work in your stead if you can support them from the mortal realm. That position alone makes you a threat to near enough the entire Hellscape if you cared to be, and it's not something that has gone unnoticed apparently. It's a two-way street though, your minions can use your help from up here, just as they can support you from below, whichever the other side needs to succeed.
>>
>>2167386
So, what exactly can we do from up here? All I can think of is order demons around, which we can't do very well without actually being there, or transfer power? I guess?
>>
>>2167386
Can we get any of them here? Like bring in our son to help from time to time
>>
>>2167390
From you to them you can issue orders and act as you normally would of your rank, to those still loyal to you or whom still recognize your position. As for power transfer, because you've still got friends (or at least cooperative enemies) you can act through them by means of the usual soul collection. Yes, souls, the mainstay of power and effective currency in the Hellscape. Owning them yourself up here is rather difficult, but sending them down to your underlings works as it normally would, so they can make use of all the infernal power you gain up here. Plus, because you're up here you have a more direct presence, that you can gather souls much more effectively. You don't have to rely on being summoned and making some demonic pact for one soul, when you personally can just corrupt and take souls yourself freely. Think of it like the mail, or maybe given the foul nature of the Hellscape, a toilet. You can flush souls and other demonic value and power down to them, which they can use below to strengthen your position down there. In that sense, they can do as successfully below as much as you can support them.

And in reverse, like the toilet backing up, they can support you from below. Though, they're limited in how much they can support you, by how much success they have. So how much you "feed" them is how much they can "feed" you back.

>>2167391
A very obvious and valuable question, besides typical help, can you actually get any of them up here. Like, physically?

Well, it's a complicated matter. Yes in a sense but not like you. In your case, you were lucky enough to get an incredibly rare chance of summoning, such that you were brought up from the Hellscape but then actually freed; effectively born into the material plane as yourself, rather than just confined to a summoning circle to interact with the material plane by proxy. Basically the difference between talking to someone via video conference, and actually physically going there to meet them in person.

This process, as said, you were phenomenally lucky for such a rare chance that any demon could only dream of for how valuable a chance it is. So it would be incredibly hard to replicate with someone else, one of your followers. However there definitely are various ways you can get the next best thing for them, ranging from a limited presence to a demonic possession. Your demon son, sharing your blood, has the best chance of any of this, but the option is possible for any of your cronies. It all depends on how involved, and how much freedom you'd like them to have here in the mortal realm. There's also legends of the maximum extent, something like opening a direct gate to the Hellscape that allows to freely cross over, but that's only rumored of and certainly beyond your scope at the moment.

So while it's possible to bring about their presence to assist you, it's much easier to get help other ways, like sending up objects for example or support in a ritual. Things like that.
>>
>>2167405
Don't suppose we could take him and implant him in a body of our own creation up here, could we? Get pregnant, use that to give him a humanish body on this plane?
>>
>>2167405
well, seems we can't do much right now with this then.need a larger power base before doing that, right?
>>
>>2167405
Can we trick/force someone into summoning our kid to free him like a it happened to us?
>>
>>2167415
No, and that's the point unfortunately. You were summoned by a warlock (though the summoner themself doesn't particularly matter) as a routine thing to make a pact. The ritual was properly performed and observed in all ways. However unrelated to anything you did, the warlock for unrelated reasons was dumb enough to kill himself. Because of this, the summoning was considered void and the pact null, so instead of you being sent back like any other summoning, you were basically freed and came to truly emerge into the material plane.

The major contributing factor was the summoner committing suicide, with you having nothing to do with it. It's commonplace for a summoned demon or devil to torment a summoner to get them to do things, even kill themselves. But you didn't even get the chance, so as you were "innocent" of the suicide nor were there any outside influence otherwise to prompt it, this is why you lucked out as to end up here permanently. Or at least until you get banished or choose to return.

>>2167411
That's pretty obvious, but then you were going to build up power anyway, right? Creidhl just reminds you, whatever you do don't return empty handed. The longer you're up there, the more enemies can prepare to await your return, basically spawncamp for when you get back. If you return emptyhanded or without an appropriate effort to count for your time in the mortal realm, then your enemies will be waiting there for your return to capture and enslave or even kill you. Depending on how much you accomplish though, this can be less likely or even impossible for them, like if you return among a wealth of souls and successes that you'd eclipse your enemies.

>>2167410
That's potentially possible with a cambion, a half-demon, but only for him as he shares your blood. Well, technically any of your children, had over the eons spent in the Hellscape. However this one, Vauma, he quite literally belongs to you because of various circumstances, unlike your other ungrateful and traitorous spawn.

But yes, it's technically possible with any of your blood, though you would of course only extend it to Vauma. To do so would require you bearing a truly demon-blooded being, meaning your human disguise wouldn't cut it. You'd need to emerge as your true demonic form, conceive and carry a child to term as such, and then with the cambion you could perform a sacrificial ritual such that Vauma could emerge into the material plane as you did. Obviously this whole process is pretty complicated and naturally very risky since it requires you not only emerging but remaining as your true demonic form the whole time, while in the mortal realm. If you're creative enough perhaps you could imagine other ways for this to happen, but this is the one you know of for sure.
>>
>>2167426
Things to think about.
Well, for now, we can cut the connection, double check for anyone watching, and then go see lucas and mila
>>
>>2167426
Also perhaps interestingly, but in the same way as you might imagine to summon your son, is the same way that you yourself could return to the mortal realm if you happened to be banished back to the Hellscape. Like insurance if you will.

For example if you were to bear a cambion, but then later were exorcised or otherwise returned to the Hellscape. Well as long as that cambion, or their bloodline, remained in the mortal realm then you could return via it. Perhaps a useful last resort if ever you end up faring terribly in the Hellscape, like are stuck as a slave or set to be killed, well worst comes to worst you could return to the mortal realm to escape such a fate.

It's another reason why the chance you have is so coveted by your kind, and why those very, very few demons who over history have gotten the same chance you have, are often very powerful or very dangerous because they have a direct bloodline link to the mortal realm.

>>2167429
>>2167431
Well it was a decent report, at least you know how things have gone since your absence. Though, it's hard to regret it compared with how wonderful your mortal time here has been. You go to douse the fire but Creidhl wants to know when they can expect support? Because they can't hold out, or rather can't remain loyal forever when enemies are moving in and chipping away from all sides, and their hiding or protection by "allies" won't last forever.

Well whatever the case he can't expect any help right now, and just tell him to keep his chin up for the time being as you put out the fire. You go to check around in case anyone here might have seen or caught you, go ahead and make a roll just in case.

It seemed as focused on the fire as you were, only in dousing it do you notice, when you go to leave the presence of another. You wouldn't even have, were it not for their clumsiness when you hear the breaking of wood and wheel around to see a woman fallen over in a painful mess. It seems she'd been hiding against some lower branches of a tree which broke, and now there's no hiding. Young, but pretty raggedy looking with patchy clothes, pale unwashed skin and long dark hair hiding most of her face, strangely you notice a number of trinkets about her person ranging from just some dried bundles of plants to a few dead animals belted to her.

"I saw you... with that fire! You were communing with a fiend right? It was green!"

She's clearly interested in you and what took place, but she's also very cautious, neither getting any closer nor drawing away.

"Who in damna- God's... good name, are you?!"

"Ah, um... M-Merryl, my name is Merryl. I'm a... well I live in these parts. Are you a witch too?"

>>2167470
First thing on your mind, asking her what she wants. No need to reveal the truth if you don't have to.

"Well... I'm a witch."

Seems to her a good enough answer. Apparently it's... not exactly her duty, but her hope to support the ruinous powers. Not all witches are like this but she's a mortal Hellscape supporter, and takes you as one as well. The rest you have to sense from her, as she doesn't have the confidence to admit that she thinks you must know your stuff well and would hope to work with you to further your shared goals. Though in this case it probably means piggyback off what she perceives as your greater skills and success in these matters. Like a craftsman meeting a more skilled craftsman, hoping to go into business together and be able to learn from the superior.

It's how she was able to find you at any rate, apparently having become aware of corruption spreading in the area. Well she lives alone in the forest out near here, which is evident by her terrible social skills, and when she detected the presence of something corruptive she took the chance to seek out what it was. She was expecting some secretive libertines in the woods, but here she up and finds another witch!

Naturally she's optimistic, though cautiously so. To try and appeal to you, she stumbles over her words trying to list out her skills and capabilities, and on a thoughtless whim even offers up everything she owns and her home as a place to stay, hoping to incentivize you considering her offer.
>>
>>2167496
Awwww she a cute, we should tell her the truth and come for her/have her meet us at the town later
I gotta go sleep, l8er y'all
>>
>>2167496
alright, there are a couple of things we can do.
We could, initially, just straight up reject her. I mean, if we play up the superior witch, why would we need anything she has? Also, we're leaving soon. We could then mull it over and 'think it over,' before accepting to maybe teach a thing or two. If she has any use, we could try to bring her along, maybe, or keep in touch.
Another route to take would be to simply raise an eyebrow. If we play the 'kinder' witch, we could take pity on her and say 'you are pathetic.' and then say perhaps I can teach how not to be pathetic, if only for a little while.
>>
>>2167505
I say we tell her the truth and if she freaks, who would believe a witch covered in fetishes and dead animals.
>>
>>2167517

>>
>>2167518

>>
>>2167519
Not against it. Just worried pride and arrogance will rear it's head when she does get better and think she's better than us. Unless we can control said sin. But at the same time, she's a witch, so she may eventually find out that we would do so... ugh.
>>
>>2167520
It's not just about her Gettin' Gud™, it's also about getting her absolutely devoted to us. For who would so easily turn on the one they worship?
>>
>>2167518
No, you're not able to be bound or controlled in the manner a witch, warlock, or other sort of summoner might. Since being freed you are now a fully material being (or at least your presence here is), you can't be affected by discreet means of control.

Basically, when you're in the Hellscape and immaterial, a material being can manipulate that and put you on their playing field, their terms when you manifest, like in a summoning ritual. Now though there's nothing for them to manipulate since you're physically right there. I mean maybe she (or someone versed in Hellscape manipulation) could do something like mess with your powers, do something like remove your disguise form. But you can never be controlled, not in that way.

This isn't saying, you *should* go ahead with the idea, just clarifying that particular risk doesn't apply.
>>
>>2167524
Well, it's really late for me, so I'll probably be turning in after this.
I suppose we could reveal our form. Perhaps not right away. Can't trust based off of word after all. Maybe go visit her abode, ask her what she can do, then say it.
... maybe we could offer her some things or whatnot? well, if she can't bind us, could we bind her? Or turn her into something like what our son is to us?
>>
>>2167523
A witch absolutely devoted to us? Sounds fun~~!
>>2167529
She seems pretty big on the whole corruption thing. Would most likely dope herself up on it too. A willing subject! It's like offering putty to a child, we can twist her, mold her however we want! But that's a good point too... we could at least see what she has to offer before doing dirty deeds.
>>

Well you can leave the farmstead at your leisure, not like you're required to stay with the Perrins or Mullers. You can reveal the truth though, but have you any preference on doing so, or are you simply throwing off the disguise without saying anything and see how she reacts?
>>
>>2169310
I'd say just take tomorrow to go to her place by horse, then return after. Will take up a day, but will probably be worth it. Could reveal right now after heading deeper into the forest for more cover, though. Although, that Feels like that might be the equivalent of lighting a beacon.

Very well, you let the witch know you'll accompany her tomorrow then to judge the value of her offer. She doesn't seem to mind that much, just happy that you're even considering. Happy enough to be ok with sleeping in the woods again while waiting.

In the meantime then you can return to the farmstead, by now it's afternoon, so any care for how you spend the rest of the day? Most folks are out working their respective jobs like tending the animals or laboring in the fields.

The important thing is you at least know the state of things both here, and below, what the stakes are.
>>
>>2169508
I see three options.
1, we try and get mila and Lucas talking to each other
2, we go have a chat with maelle
3, we talk to the uncle again.
I suppose there's option 4 and 5 too, of going to see the peeping tom or the owner of the book.
Currently leaning toward 1 or 3.
>>
>>2169539
I like one. Mostly because Mila wants to, that makes our job easier and the corruption more so.
>>
>>2169544
>>2169539
One is easy enough, all you'd have to do is take over Mila's job for her so she could go out to the field and find Lucas to interact with. Which, she'll glady do without manipulation even.

Though, might be a bit boring for you to tend to the livestock around the farm.
>>
>>2169571
A manipulator we may be, but hard work will always reap benefits.
>>
>>2169577
Alright, you'll take over for Mila. Goa head and make a roll to see how things go for her and Lucas. Who knows, maybe you may not need to manipulate him all that much.

So you spend at least part of the rest of the day minding the animals. Things are generally cut short when you hear quite the uproar coming from the farmstead proper and try to corral the various animals to their pens to see what's going on. It seems there was some thievery that took place, as several other family members returning for the day or otherwise coming to notice that either things of theirs have gone missing or others are in possession of them. Everyone's confused, everyone's shouting, and a fight or two breaks out here and there. And in response, to your delight, you see Lucas and Mila return. Seemingly normal enough, though when Adrien gets in a fight with Dylan and the two rough each other up nearby, Mila panics and seeks support from Lucas whom holds her in his arms and tries to calm her down. Not a blossoming relationship, but a start.

Have you any interest in getting involved with any of the situation playing out, maybe manipulate it further to your liking, or just observe and appreciate your work?
>>
This cucking business still irks me but we gotta do what we gotta do for power
>>2169819
Just appreciate it from afar with Mila and Lucas
>>
>>2169819
Well, no doubt someone will say something along the lines of 'this didn't happen until they showed up!' So aside from deflecting that question with 'perhaps the thief decided to use our arrival to steal?' Or 'Was this a break in?', I'm thinking... maybe we should volunteer to lead the search for the missing objects? Put together us and Dylan as the search party.and maybe one other person of our choice to have someone to corrupt while we 'search.'
>>
>>2169865
Well yes, volunteering to help will certainly remove suspicion from you. You can partner up with Dylan if you like, and another to your choosing. Probably harder to corrupt multiple people though.

The joke is that you know who stole what, since you can sense the increase in greed and envy in the thieves, and there's more than one. Could even find where they took the items, no problem.
>>
>>2169887
Ho, there was more than one? I'm sure Dylan was one, hence why I went with him since he's certain to cover his own behind, not sure who the others may be. Probably the uncle?
As for the third member... I'm thinking noam or maelle? Anyone want to chime in if they agree and want to choose a third person?
>>
>>2169906
Oh yes, five members from both families you can tell took things. Dylan as you suspected is one but there are more.
>>
>>2169906
>>2169913
>Five
Holy fuck
I say Dylan since he was already pretty bad to begin with
>>
>>2169935
Well, yes, Dylan is one. I was wondering if we wanted a third. Unless you only want to put a search party for 2?
>>
>>2169962
Maelle sound good?
>>
>>2169982
Yeah, I suppose we can go with maelle.
>>
>>2169982
I'm fine with maelle
>>
>>2169998
>>2169989
>>2169982
Alright, you choose to go with Maelle when she returns, probably from secret smooches, and Dylan. Which means you've awhile where it's just you and Dylan if you care to capitalize on that.

Or else you can wait for Maelle, any plan towards the both of them? Or are you honestly just looking for stolen stuff and thieves?
>>
>>2170004
Put pressure on Dylan about the items, who would've done it, why, what did they get and stuff like that

And look for the thieves primarily while also putting them under pressure
>>
>>2170040
I'll agree... but if we find any items, put them back where we found them, and say we couldn't find anything. As for dylan, we can go on about how this house doesn't even have many valuable things in it, and talk about other things the thief could have stolen from the richer side of town. Perhaps we can turn him into a serial thief?
>>
>>2170065
Support.
We have to show we firmly believe no one in this house could have taken them, and believe it came from an outside source, with this search being a pointless effort to appease paranoia.
>>
>>2170065
Sounds good anon
>>
>>2170081
>>2170065
>>2170040
Slight majority, that you engage in a search for the stolen items but you're not going to expose any of the thieves themselves. Interestingly you grill Dylan over the matter without being too obvious but he just refuses and denies everything. The others, you can sense are; Mr. Perrin, Tess, Adrien, and Mrs. Muller. In any case, without outing anyone as the culprits, you manage to find and return a good amount of the missing things to everyone's relief and happiness. Not everything missing mind you, that would be too suspicious. Just enough so that their gratefulness outweighs any paranoia.

So you're the resident hero, and all this before dinner. Before Maelle gets back even, it was just that simple of a task. You've still some time then if you care to continue prying your way with Dylan, swap to Maelle, or just act otherwise as you please.
>>
>>2170129
I think that's enough for a day unless y'all wanna place some gold somewhere and only let Dylan see it while scouting
>>
>>2170148
I kind of want to talk to maelle, but I don't know what to talk to her about... like, I suppose we could convince her to go the extra mile for the guy? Say, I left my old life for lucas, and I am so much happier now. I won't tell anyone of your relationship, so it's fine if you dont take my advice, but I say go for it? Or if you don't want to leave with him, try at least sleeping with him, to truly consummate the relationship, because life is short? Could send her father down a path of wrath, sloth, and/or lust should he find out soon enough.
>>
>>2170176
BOI
I had the same problem but that sounds great, what would we do without you anon
>>2170129

>>

>>

>when we're at the bed with Lucas

Also I can't tell what this means lol

I can guess I think, but the syntax is a little weird.
>>
>>2170249
I though we were sharing a room/bed
>>
>>2170240
Ah, yeah.
>>
>>2170264
You're sharing a bed (bundled bedding on the floor at least) sure, but you haven't had the chance to "do" anything since it's not a room to your own, if that's what you mean. You're basically in the same big room as Dylan and Mila, so for propriety sake you've held off, or at least not specified on doing anything.

Yes, like good and pious little souls, you've remained chaste since that sinful mistake of a first time.
>>
>>2170275
Ah! Okay, still need control
I wanna brainwash him a little with some words
>>
>>2170278
If Dylan decides to go the thief route, he could leave us alone with Lucas and Mila since night time is good cover for burglary activity.
>>
>>2170278
Next chance you get then, sure you can go ahead.

>>2170176
>>2170187
>>2170190
You can try to approach Maelle with such ideas. However remember that while you know her secret, she doesn't know you know.

So describe how you'd like to break the ice on that with her, and then make a roll to see how the convincing attempt goes.
>>
>>2170295
Hmm yes that is true, if you could find a way to convince or entice him to go that route.

Though, even with the storehouse alone to yourself, Mila and Lucas, it's not the best in terms of privacy. Still has windows and doors. You'd have to make a roll to see if you're noticed "doing" anything.
>>
>>2170298
Disguise it as advice talk about men and if she has someone and stuff then get into detail like if she ever finds a man she must do her best to hold onto him, look at us! We gave up our old life for a chance at a better one when we met Lucas and the intimacy and love we share is one of the best things she can experience
>>
>>2170321
Yeah, that's pretty good. We dont need to state it outright
>>2170298
Always some issue, isn't there? Although... if the household was corrupted enough, maybe being spotted wouldn't really be a bad thing, would it? Still probably not worth the risk right now though.
>>
>>2170343
We could always go for a hand/blowjob
>>
>>2170343
>>2170321
That could work maybe, it seemed to work for Mila. You can roll for the attempt to see how it goes.

And then, unfortunately, tomorrow we'll see how it goes. Another early night and late start most likely, my apologies. Hate having such short and sporadic run times, and it's certainly not from lack of interest. The good news is, tomorrow is my last work day so after that, there shouldn't be any more hiccups in play. As well, I'll probably even make the next thread for this tomorrow or the day after, to get the wheel spinning again.

So thanks all for playing, and thanks so much for your patience. Look forward to continuing tomorrow, and unhindered thereafter.

So you single out Maelle, taking the chance to get to talk with her after the commotion with the stolen and missing items and your returning them. She thanks you as a couple of those things were hers, and you're able to sit aside together till dinner and talk.

You're clever enough to be subtle about it, so only eventually do you come around to the topic of love and such things. You can feel how she withdraws on the matter due to her secret, however with the right amount of maneuvering by saying the right things, a little physical contact, and your increased influene over the farmstead and its denizens, you're able to approach the topic with her without her shooting it down or backing off. She even comes to admit to you, not in full truth, but that there's a guy she may have feelings for and is worried for one that her family here wouldn't approve but also that she doesn't have the heart to leave her father alone here.

Your logic is ever so sweet and convincing though, as you talk to her about her own life and wants and needs, as well as what her parents would want for her even if it was inconvenient. Best of all you're living proof as you tell her about your own situation and how well and happy things are for you and Lucas. It's a lot for her to take in for sure, and without actually manipulating her it's not like she just comes to change her mind and agree with you immediately. However, whereas before she definitely never would have done anything while her family here was in opposition, now she says she's going to be honest about her secret and is seriously considering eloping if it doesn't work out. Something which of course, is a great sin and highly corruptive. You feel another conversation or two like this with her, and she'd be doing entirely of her own will and even without family knowledge.

So yes, not a bad half hour or so before dinner, as she thanks you with a hug and takes you by the hand to join them for dinner. Her side of dinner that is, the Perrin family side. One you're not used to eating at, and where your usual familiar faces are at. It's appealing though to get the chance to sit down with the other half of the farmstead, and perhaps best of all, it will leave Lucas and Mila to themselves for dinner on the other side.

Anything you care to do then in particular, or just enjoy dinner with the Perrins and rejoin your usual companions after?
>>
>>2171133
oh, you started early today!
hm... guess we could talk to tess. A little nudge could lead to either envy or pride.
envy for the other kids she tries to play with (something like trying to get her to describe the other kids and the things they have), or pride in the "you don't need them, you're better than them. Prettier, smarter... If you work a bit, stronger too. I'm sure once they see just how great you are, you can lead them, rather than them leading you."
Or both. Envy at the other kids, get her to try to achieve to be better than them in every way she can, and then take pride in herself for being better.

we'll get some time alone. that'll be simple enough once the corruption spreads enough, I think?
>>
>>2171181
It was your choice to go this route. And it's not like you're losing Lucas even if you do go it. If it bothers you so you can cut your losses and start over, or get another guy exclusive.

Though in the grand scheme of things, how much it matters...

>>2171164
Sure you can poke and prod Tess. Innocent enough to sit next to her at dinner and talk about this and that, while instilling certain feelings towards the other kids to prompt her to act. Same as with Maelle, it's not as though she'll just follow your suggetions blindly without question, but it's now a consideration of hers. A few more conversations like this and she'll want to do it herself.

Anyway, a nice change in dinner, and afterward folks take to their usual nightly activities. Though, some fair suspicion between the two families now you notice and even among them, since some items are still missing or stolen. You're free to act as you please though for the rest of the night.
>>
>>2171211
I was under the impression that was a common player idea as well. It could be preferrable to lead behind the scenes so to speak. When you turn Lucas towards being a champion of yours and leading the cause, if worst comes to worst, he appears to be the one in charge and so could take the fall while you just cut and run or even pretend to be "just another girl" among several whom were led astray by him or taken by force, whatever excuse you can come up with. All in all makes you less of a target.

If you choose to go that route that is.
>>
>>2171214

Just go to bed and let suspicion grow overnight. We've got a long day of riding tomorrow, so we've got to 'wake up' early.

>>2171229
>>2171222
An early night is for the best you think, but before then you can go for a walk with Lucas and spend some time together. For the best perhaps, as you find him and Mila enjoying spending time together, talking and laughing. Though, for as much as they may come to like one another, Lucas's addiction to you is always present as he greets you warmly and affectionately after spending time apart.

He'd be more than happy to go on a walk with you, though what you talk about is up to you.
>>
>>2171246
Take a stroll and get talking with him! I have some dialogue to hopefully manipulate him and secure him should the worst happen
>Midway through the stroll sit down together
>Cup his cheeks in our hands
>Lucas, no matter what happens or what people say... I love you, know that even though I'm... different, a noble you've won my heart and no matter what comes or what happens with the inquisition and my situation, I love you
>Then kiss the sorry soul
Then go back to Mila to be the third wheel
>>
>>2171246
I don't really know what to talk about. Talk about his opinion of Mila? That we're going to be out tomorrow? Ask him, no matter what, we'll always have a special place in his heart, right? Also try to instill some pride in him and get him to take what's his.
Have we done some more Lucas modifications today?
>>2171283
I don't know what you're worried about. Mila was pretty much always going to be concubine status.
>>
>>2171289
I know o just wanna tie him down should we get caught, then if we're revealed and there's some shred of not corruption in him this way he would most likely stay
>>
>>2171283
>>2171289
yeah, for me it was to get lucas to accept debauchery in laying two women since if he was focused solely on us his corruption would be a bit slower. Also, we corrupt on other person and get someone in the future to order around.
Also, sounds good,
>>
