Come One, Come All; Welcome to the SPOOKY ICARUS RISING HALLOWEEN SPECIAL~!I am your humble QM, Weaver!Last Thread: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive/1833443/Twitter: https://twitter.com/Weaver_QMDiscord: https://discord.gg/vBgY2s2While you had not interacted with her much after your...incident, Coco had offered to take the afternoon to help you with the makeup and whatnot. While you continued your jog along you end up talking about the current ‘plan’. You had managed to get the blessing from Glynda (though it required also doing quite a bit of extra homework to your dismay) to get the afternoon off to prepare. The plan was a simple one; There was a more or less unused faculty storage area in the main building, and after a very quick cleaning and some muscle grease the room was actually quite open. It had become your mission, along with the rest of your more art oriented Cadre Mates to turn the place into the perfect place for a halloween bash. While Nora had the muscles to move the speakers and equipment Ren had the surprisingly delicate touch to coordinate it all. Pyrrha and Jaune had taken full swing into the decorations, which impressed you considering the attentions to detail. Weiss had ended up as a slave driver for Cardin and his team, ensuring they all did their assigned jobs of getting candy and punch and all manner of goodies. It lay to Blake and Yang to keep Ruby distracted up until tonight, where you’d lead her all the way to the room and begin a great halloween bash. Every student you knew and could know was invited and all was now just up to getting the final touches, including your costume.>Is there anything else you need to do before you head off to coco?>A. Yes (Write in Ideas)>B. No; You need to shower to get ready.

>>2029478With everything that’s been going on all that is really left on your end was your costume, which would be...difficult. Coco had decided to go full out for the design, which meant for quite some time you would be without your right arm, as she was working on mold that your arm would fit in to allow her to make fake ‘flesh’; As the character you were going as had at least one real arm, something you were severely lacking in. Before that however you would have to finish your routine with your workout buddies, meaning the end of your jog, some light sparring and a cooldown run to the dorms. >Roll me a d20, let’s see how well Jaune does on today’s exercise.

>>2029563Even in the two weeks that you’ve been training with the boy, Jaune has been absorbing what you teach him like a sponge. While you and Pyrrha disagreed on both styles and methods (She preferred a far more balanced style focused on shield work that was more ideal for human opponents, while you had developed a reflexive style that was ideal for dealing with the Grimm) he managed to find his own compromise between you. It resulted on a more intense skirmishing style, using his new submachine guns to force opponents on the back foot before closing the distance with his sword. All and all he was getting better every day and if he kept that rate he’d be right as rain.Sweat pours down your face as you finally make it to the dorms and more importantly, the locker rooms. You had discovered the communal showers during your combat classes and had since found them as a salvation from your morning routines and after a very hot shower the ache in your muscles has mellowed into a comfortable numb. Even as you got dressed the slight drops of water that remained in your hair began to frost over in the cool morning. However you had to hurry, as if what Coco told you was true it would take a few hours for the process to be finished up and you wanted to get started as soon as you could. >Where did Coco want you to meet her?>Her dorm: As private as it gets really>A Professor’s office: you had never heard of the professor, but it was a second year teacher and it made sense>C. >>2029890It’s a short walk to the second year dormitory and after a few seconds of knocking on the door the slight grin of Coco greets you. “Glad to see you could make it, Tin Man.” She says before stepping aside. “Hurry up now, I don’t want all the other huntsmen getting the wrong idea.” She mutters, before her grin widens. “Unless that’s what you want.” She purrs. You had never gotten used to the fashionista's forwardness when it came to flirting with you, but had discovered if you simply ignored it she would stop...eventually. With that in mind you step inside, setting your worn leather jacket on the rack beside the door as you enter. You had only been here once before when Yang was insisting she have a ‘girl’s trip’ with Nora, Coco and Velvet and from what little you had seen that single time things had changed quite dramatically. There was a small set with a hard plastic with what you could only guess was styrofoam inside, as well as various bottles of dyes and other such things. When Coco said she’d go all out she really meant it, and you couldn’t help but feel awe at the sight.“Alright first off...your arm, well, you're right one. You’re stunned by the bluntness of the question and you look at Coco with wide eyes and your response is truly one for the ages:“W-what?” Truly you are a master wordsmith.“Your arm, you can detach it...right?” She reiterates.“Yes, I can...why?” you reply, your ability to weave words well on display.“Good, I need you take it off for me.” She orders and after taking a seat on one of the beds and reach your hand beneath your shirt. It takes you a few moments of pressing and tapping to find the manual release and after moving aside the panel that keeps the release lever secure and with a small hiss the large hunk of now unmoving metal slumps onto the bed beside you. You feel the slight tingle of the nerves in your shoulder still attempting to connect to a no longer functioning arm. Before you can even get an answer out of Coco she quickly picks up your unattached limb, well...as fast as she can with its weight. “Jeez Tin-Man, with a nickname like that you’d have thought these things wouldn’t weigh a...ugh..ton.” She grunts, setting it beside the styrofoam filled box and laying out a number of sheets of Saran Wrap.Watching on, you see her begin a laborious process of sealing your arm in a thin tight cocoon of the material.“Alright, here’s the deal. You need human flesh on your arm and we can’t really...do that. So the box next to this thing is going to make a mold that we’re gonna use with this.” She pauses, shaking the wrist in amusement “and a bunch of liquid latex and makeup to make it as ‘human’ as we can. Sound good?”>Are you okay with not having your arm attached for a few hours?>A. Yes, you’re used to it for maintenance>B. No, you don’t wanna risk your arm being gunked up.

>>2033001You shrug. It wasn’t a big deal to be without it, it was just surprising that she was going through the trouble of doing it. Taking your shrug as an okay Coco takes your now wrapped limb into the mold. You wince at the sound of the styrofoam screeching as your arm sinks into it; However once it sets Coco goes quiet, setting her sunglasses aside and prodding and shuffling your fingers and slight joints before reaching for the large bottle beside her. Uncapping the bottle she reaches for a smaller bottle of red dye before dropping it into the bottle before recapping it. Shaking the bottle she begins to pour it out into the mold, covering your wrapped arm in a thin pinkish glaze.“Yes, we’re going for anatomical correctness.” She answers the unspoken question before looking at you with a grin. “Though if you want me to do ANOTHER anatomically correct mold i’d be...Happy to oblige .” She teased, forcing your cheeks to go scarlet>Roll Spaghetti

Was it mocking or fear or whatever? You weren’t sure. All you really knew was that of the three people who had been involved Velvet had been strangely absent, or more likely, avoiding you.“I’d consider it a happy accident personally.” Coco rebutted, only causing you to groan in annoyance. This was going to be a long afternoon. >>2034056Though your initial defence of Velvet certainly attracted the more personal attention of team CFVY, your whole Cadre had become a center of attention at Beacon. When the news of your team's status and makeup were released, as well as the recording of your initiation and ‘Nevermore Divebomb’ you had become micro celebrities. You were the first huntsmen and huntresses to work in a larger group by design, and so people naturally connected your grouping to something ‘special’ and attempted to determine just what it was. While you yourself had no idea if any of it was true (sans being a tattersoul) it had set you on a natural course to more interactions with Coco and the rest of her team. In the few times you had met with the whole of her team they were a surprisingly pleasant group, even if they were stark contrasts to one another. With all of that it became easy to settle into a routine of chatter with the fashionista over the pouring and applying of more latex layers and the like, with interspersed breakups from both Fox and Yatsuhashi entering and leaving through the afternoon. It was a quiet afternoon, even if it meant you were without your arm for a number of hours. “Alright then, Tin-Man. This is the last layer you should need so while it sets we should get to work on your hair. Sound good?” she asks, tilting her head. You nod. >Let’s roll it to see...well. Something. (d20)

I don’t want to ruin yours just because of some hair dye, you know?” Without thinking you oblige, well you attempt to oblige but you get the shirt about half way up your torso before you remember ‘oh right I’m missing an arm’. Thankfully Coco seems to realize your struggle, though the only reason you are even aware of this is the feeling of her warm hand against your abdomen. You shiver slightly at the sudden warmth and texture of her hand as she draws it up to catch your shirt. Finally freeing you of the fabric Coco seems nonplussed but the slight grin on her face tells you all you need to know. Feeling the cold of the back of the chair you hiss but it quickly fades. “I’m surprised you don’t show off more, Tin-Man. I’m sure if someone cleaned you up from your ‘wildman’ look you’d cut quite the figure.” She insists, preparing the dye as you contemplate her words.“I..uh. It’s complicated.” You mumble, squirming ever so slightly in your chair as you press your back further into it on instinct. You really, really, REALLY hoped the girl wouldn’t see the obvious scars as she began to run her hands through your hair. As she continues to tousle and look over your hair you let yourself relax, if only slightly. You don’t know how long it takes for the girl to be seemingly satisfied with her work before beginning to run the slightly cold mixture through your hair. It is a surprisingly small amount compared to what you’d expect.“Alright, while that sets let’s get you hooked back up!” She cheers, clapping her hands quickly before looking to you.>Roll me a 1d20-10

>>2034530Leaning forward a bit, you hear Coco grunt as she hefts your now ‘flesh’ covered arm over to you. You feel the all too natural pins and needles feeling as the pins that interfaced with your nerves pressed into place. The feeling forces you to hunch over as the feeling of pins and needles became more akin to the feeling of what you’d imagine prodding your nerves with a toothpick would feel like. It’s only then that you hear the gasp and realize just how stupid you’ve been. “Lucius, the hell happened to you?” She asked before the near mute sensation of her fingers jumped from your latex coated arm towards your back. It seemed that even with the layers of plastic and latex you could still at least feel things, if incredibly muted. That would be far more useful to you later, but right now you were trapped with the fact that your scars were on display.“It...uh...The same reason that..I..w-well, why I have my arms.” You stammer weakly, starting to shake; You’re almost thankful that your arms are as heavy as they are, because they keep the shaking from being incredibly noticeable. However your shaken from your rapid desire to sink deep inside of yourself by the shuffling of her boots against the wood as she approached you.“What is it?” She asks, her voice far more quiet and lacking the usual confidence, in it’s place an actual amount of concern.“Isn’t it obvious?” You ask quietly, meeting the girls eyes for a brief moment. “I’m a mess, Coco. Why do you think I wear my jacket so often? I’m a freak beneath my clothes and if it isn’t my arms it’s my scars.” You draw on, only for her to gently flick you in the forehead.“Hey, what was that fo-” She flicks you again.“Look tin-man, I get it. We’re all twisted in our own little ways.” She says, chuckling weakly, before looking over to her handbag which was sitting on her nightstand. “You know, I wasn’t always this, you know. I...well, I won’t get into details but growing up was rough for me; Not a whole lot a food, or clothes, or anything good for a long time. But when things finally started to turn around, I made the most of it. I made the most of it and I never looked back and when I finally made it into Beacon I felt I was where I belonged. It doesn’t matter where you came from, or what it did to you.” She pauses again, looking down at her chest. “What matters is that you’re stronger than you were then, and that it didn’t stop you now.”>How do you react?>A. >>2034776You look to Coco in surprise and the slightest hint of awe. This was the first person (other than Khrone or Oobleck) who had ever had some sort of advice about your condition. You had no idea of what she had to have seen to have the mindset she did, but you were thankful none the less for her honesty. You made a note to speak with her at a later date about things, as after your talk it had become a far more quiet task, though as much as you wanted to speak up your nerves were still more than rattled. So instead you focused on the feeling of her hands as she worked the dye through as she continued to ensure everything was in the perfect place. “I’d suggest showering before you get your costume on. Just to make sure the dye is set, you know?” She says finally breaking the silence “probably best to do it now, reduces the chance of discovery.” She adds, jerking her thumb towards their shower.>Do you take the offer?>A. >>2036941>>A. Don’t see why not.
>>2036941You shrug, there’s no reason to not accept the offer that was presented to you, and with a nod you quickly make your way to the bathroom. It was far more well kept than your own bathroom, even though you were almost certain that there were more hair products and makeup bits than Yang's rather impressive collection. While you did have the advantage of Pyrrha and her more spartan beauty over Yang's allure, it was still fascinating that Coco had managed to put it all in such a tidy place.Shaking yourself of your strange fascination you strip down your clothing and make sure to leave everything folded on the toilet before stepping in. One quick shower later you quickly use a trick you had picked up in your years in the wild and with a quick flash of gold your body is dry, though you were mindful to leave your hair and right arm out; As you didn’t want to accidentally turn all of Coco’s hard work to literal thin air. Speaking of your arm it was still bugging you how strange it was that you had flesh; Or, more correctly that you had what looked like flesh. It felt like ages since you could remember the last time you had looked down at your hands and seen actual flesh. It still felt alien as you stared at it on your shoulder, knowing that beneath it was cold and unloving metal. >roll 1d20+10

You can hear coco mumbling as she scuffles around the room on her hands and knees, a majority of her clothing in a neat pile on her bed. Gone are the usual thigh-high boots and combat pants, having been replaced with bright orange knee high socks and a deep red skirt. It’s only at this point that you realize that she still had yet to put on a top, and finally shake yourself from your staring. “I just HAD to go for accuracy, didn’t I?” You could finally hear her say, her right hand reaching out and patting around in front of her. A pair of large, square frame glasses have made their resting place on the far side of the room opposite where Coco was. Being careful not to crush the frame beneath your brace you pick them up before kneeling about a foot away from the girl. Grunting to get her attention you watch her head shoot up before you place the glasses on her face. The moment she sees you the slightest hint of a blush manages to creep on her face as she sits up. Realizing the reason for her blush you look away.“T-thanks Tin-Man” Coco manages after a moment, the slight rustle of fabric she stood and tapped you on thee shoulder. Turning to face her she is now clothed with a bright orange turtleneck sweater. “Well, what do you think?” She asks after a slight cough (You assume in an attempt to recompose herself) giving you a slight twirl.“What do you mean?” You asks, your head tilting ever so slightly. She looks stunned at your reply. “Y-you do know Scooby Doo, right?” >Do you?>A. It appears that your admittance to not knowing whatever this ‘Scooby Doo’ thing was rather important. Whatever the case, you step aside from the girl and look at yourself in the mirror. You had to admit, she had done incredibly well with the dye and while you lacked the exact facial structure of the character you were now impersonating the end result was still impressive.“Okay Tin Man I gotta get the last of my costume ready, as does the rest of my team so you gotta get back. Remember the Party starts at...5:30 so better be ready.” Coco advises, gently slapping your now latex-coated arm.“Alright, alright! I’ll see you there, anyone else I should be aware of?” You ask, slinging your jacket back over your shoulders.“Uh...I dunno, Yang sort of had a bit of an open invite so we’ll see.”“Ah..oh, and Coco? >>2042579No, we as in Luci.

>>2041181It takes a minutes for your scroll to vibrate and taking a peek you see that thankfully Yang had sent you something even better. The picture was one of an older man who you assumed was Yang and Ruby’s father standing proudly beside Ruby, her held over her back with the blade cresting over her. You don’t even bother answering the ‘why?’ that comes along with the picture in question. Running for the forge you lock the door and quickly grab your carving tools and a number of blocks of soap. It takes a few minutes of heating to get a sizable block but once it is complete you are quick to get to work, carving and melting away portions of the massive block until it resembles the rough shape of the individuals in the picture you were sent. From there it became more a matter of detailing, and once long and drawn out strokes became more detailed, more precise. From scoring and giving detail to the hair and facial features the minutes turned to half an hour, then forty five minutes. The last portion of it was by far the hardest as you grabbed a toothpick and, like a painter with his brush, began to push your semblance through it. From the pale gold of her father's hair to the glimmer of silver and platinum in her eyes and scythe you could feel yourself weakening. By the time you had glazed and transmuted the clothing you had already used one of your syringes to bring your aura up, the Scourge growling and knocking at your mental gates. However with fifteen minutes to spare you were complete, and the statue of the duo was as close to perfect as you could make it. Packing it away you slipped the statue into a small box before returning to your room to change.>Roll me a d20

>>2043669Knocking on the door and getting a muffled ‘come in’ you are met by something that took your breath away. It was Yang as the blonde hair gave away, but the outfit she was in was a radical shift from the usual. Gone was the brown and black of her spats and jacket and in its place was something that you had not expected. Blue and Red was the predominant scheme now, with the red making up the knee length skirt, boots and cape over the blue bodysuit. However when she turns around there is no mistaking it, Yang Xaio Long was currently dressed up as no other than Supergirl.“Hey Tin-Man! How do I look?” She asks, giving a twirl to let you get a look over. If you were honest she looked as lovely as ever, she had truly gone out of her way to make it immaculate. “I...it’s uh...fantastic Yang.” You finally stutter out, getting a smile out of her. “You don’t look bad yourself, Coco did a great job.” Yang replies with a smile, stepping closer to ruffle your hair much to your displeasure. “Need a hand getting all your stuff on?” She asks, and you nod happily before quickly peeling off your shirt. It takes a good ten minutes to get all the straps and pieces in place, but thanks to the help you feel comfortable in your costume. The praise that Yang gives you only makes you blush, but thankfully you mange to hide it behind the hilt of the sword before you place it on your back.“Ready to go?”You can only nod, after all; Halloween Awaits!(AAANNNNNDDD This is going to be the end of PART ONE of the halloween Special! Feel free to Come Back Next week to see the party, the fun and MORE. I love you all and have a good one.Your one and only, WeaverQM)
