With the Supreme Kai of Time Chronoa dethroned, the Demon God Dumplin beaten, and Karn's whole family now able to live in his timeline, things have been looking up for the Saiyan General. But all good things can't last forever. And when conflicts arise between deities, mortals are inevitably caught in the crossfire. Does Karn, the Berserker God possess the strength to protect his family, people, world and reality from their fickle nature? Or are the beings above mortal ken also beyond mortal reproach? This outcome may be up to you.

You the players control Karn, wielder of the mighty Berserker Soul. Granting him the power to fight against gods and other divine beings, to resist their influence and strengths. From his lowly beginnings as a Saiyan Brawler with a sub-3000 powerlevel in Age 733, only a few years into his time as a member of the PTO, he has now become the strongest Saiyan of his time. With the power of the Berserker God, combined with That Which Should Not Be and having devoured a soul born of the Abyss itself, his strength is now unlike anything before seen in his reality. But will this newfound strength be enough to overcome the threats headed his way? Only time will tell, your choices can spell the difference between success and failure.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After aiding the Heeters in reclaiming their world and hopping across the stars, Karn and Towa found Raditz of all people, far beyond the reach of your ki sense from New Salda. Returning directly home, to avoid learning a path to him for his own safety, Karn learned of Moro. Accompanying Towa to the Galactic Patrol's prison, Towa increased the security, ensuring Moro could never escape before revealing that Merus was an angel and taking you back to New Salda. A month later, Milha was crushed, the friend she'd made saying she hated her and going so far as to leave New Salda, choosing instead to live with Chilli and the Crimson Demon Clan. In response, Karn and Towa confronted Arti, Towa taking her somewhere. And after ensuring no one else would treat any of your children like that, Karn then went to meditate on Raven's Island. And as we rejoin Karn, Mechikabura and an unknown figure have just stepped through his portal before you.

“General Karn, good to see you are well.” the Demon God says, grinning. “I would like to personally introduce you to the next, and former, Supreme Kai of Time. Aeos.”
“Aeos?” you ask, looking back from him to the small woman. She's roughly the same size as Chronoa, even sitting down you're still at least a head taller. Wearing a golden crown and blue Kai robes, which are red-lined, she seems far more serious than Chronoa was. But there's something else to her as well, a sadness. A pain in her eyes you've only seen a few times before. Reminding you of-
“Mechikabura? What are you-?” Raven asks, stopping short when she sees Aeos. “Oh! You must be the new Time Deity, am I correct?”
“Very astute. Yes, this is Aeos.” Mechikabura tells Raven. “Aeos, meet General Karn, the mortal who bested Chronoa. And Raven, Guardian of this planet.”

“Greetings. It is good to see you.” she says to Raven, giving her a small, polite bow before turning back to you. And, to your surprise, gives you an even deeper bow. “General Karn. Mechikabura has told me much of you, it is good to finally see you. Although, I must admit, I cannot see how you bested her. I sense no strength from you.”
“Ah, that's right. I forgot. Normal deities cannot sense you, Karn. One moment.” he says, his power blazing up around him and the smaller woman. Whose eyes suddenly go wide, recoiling back from you reflexively. You don't think she even realized that she stepped back, jaw dropping as she can no doubt feel your strength now.
“What is this? What ARE you?!” she exclaims, sounding horrified. To which Mechikabura chuckles, ending the spell over her that allowed her to sense you.

“Do you believe me now?” he asks her cheekily, the woman not looking away from you as the shock is clearly still fresh. Her expression reminds you of those bastards you'd frightened earlier, the terror clear in her eyes. Turning from her, he addresses you directly again. “I was hoping that Towa would be here as well, has she returned to her own realm?”
“I'm not sure. We... Had a problem.” you say, the Demon God raising a brow. And as the Kai tries to regain her composure you quickly explain what happened, how Towa took the one who'd hurt her daughter through a portal to somewhere. “And I'd assume she's still there.”
“I see. Well, it won't cause too much difficulty for me, as long as she stays put.” he says, drawing out three Time Scrolls from within his robe.

“Hang on. Is that-?” you ask, Mechikabura grinning.
“Indeed. Both your Time Scroll, and the one your Towa is from. And, the one her current lab is situated within.” he tells you, setting all three on the ground before Aeos. “And now, I have a... Proposition for you.”
“Okay...” you respond, not sure what he's getting at. But you're ready to lunge for the scrolls at a moment's notice, realizing what could possibly be at stake. “What is it?”

“Instead of having you all going back and forth through timelines, I think it best to... Consolidate.” Mechikabura tells you, waving his hand and opening all three scrolls. You can't read them, but suddenly have an idea what he's getting at. “How about we make your timeline its own?”
“What do you mean?” you ask him, the Demon God grinning.
“It is simple really. I take Towa from her Time Scroll, the lab from that one, and add them both into your own.” he tells you. “Putting you all in the same scroll, so there is no longer a need for traveling through timelines. Keeping you and your entire family safe, and away from the Time Patrol. Once they rebuild and are reorganized, protocols changed and some... Stricter employment guidelines enacted.”

“You can do that?” you ask him, to which the Demon God shakes his head.
“No, I can not do such a thing. But the Supreme Kai of Time can.” he answers with a smug, self-satisfied grin. “What do you say?”

Well? How do you answer?
>Absolutely, let's do it. Ask what they need you to do to make this work
>Telepathically call Towa over, it's her lab so she should get a say as well
>Telepathically call Okira to your side before answering him, you have a feeling that they might need her powers as well

“Hold on, there's one more person who should be here for this.” you say, reaching out telepathically to Towa. “Hey, you busy?”
“I'm on my way, just finishing up with something. Twenty seconds.” she replies instantly, then ends the mental link. Through the connection you'd sensed a strain on her mind, leaving you wondering what she was up to. But you shake it off, returning your attention to the Demon God before you.
“It's her lab, Towa deserves a say as well.” you tell him, seeing the Kai nodding slightly and giving a hint of a smile at your answer. To which Mechikabura chuckles, a few seconds of silence later a portal opens beside you all. Towa steps through, absolutely drenched in what smells like blood. “Everything okay?”

“Yes, just getting around to cleaning that room.” she says, you knowing immediately which she means as the portal closes. But, as it does, you see Arti on the ground, also drenched in blood. “I had to... Borrow a few extra hands for the task. Greetings, Mechikabura. And the former Supreme Kai of Time Aeos, what a surprise. I had thought you'd retired.”
“It is quite impressive how even her enemies believed her lies about my fate.” Aeos says with a sigh. “But no, I will be resuming my duties as Supreme Kai of Time.”
“So, why am I.... Hold on. Are those-?” Towa asks, her eyes going wide as she sees the three Time Scrolls. “Does this mean-?”
“Indeed. Preparations have been made to have you and your lab both attached to Karn's timeline permanently, ending your leaping across timelines. After all, you have what you want now.”

“What do you think? Should we do it?” you ask Towa, who raises a hand to her chin. Looking intently down at the scrolls.
“Were we to do this, it would allow for far easier isolation. But it would also mean giving up the protection merging timelines 'improperly' gave to us during the conflict.” she says, thinking aloud. “However, with Chronoa out of the way, there is no longer a need for such defenses. But what about Chaya?”
“As she's been severed from her own timeline so long, I had already taken it upon myself to have her merged with your own timeline. To prevent any accidental erasure.” Mechikabura tells you both, which catches your attention. You have a feeling he's hiding something from you. “Now, all that is left is to merge your own with that of your lab, keeping all of your travel to the same timeline.”

“But how will I return to the lab? Without timeline travel, will it collide with the Towa of this timeline's construction?” Towa asks him, which seems like a good question to you. Always a step ahead, however, Mechikabura's grin widens as he answers.

“That is simple. It will exist in the extra-dimensional plane, not physically connected to anywhere except the gateway. However, where that connects will be up to you all.” Mechikabura says, before his smile grows wider. “Or, where your daughter says it will be.”
“What?” you ask him, not sure what he means.
“Your youngest daughter, Okira. Her... Unique powers can create a gateway from your lab to this planet, or anywhere else. And once that gateway is created, it will 'bind' the alternate dimensional space to that place.”

“I see...” Towa says, thinking it over a moment before turning to you. “I think we should do it.”
“You sure?” you ask, to which she nods. You nod back, then turn to the Demon God. “Let's do this.”
“Very well. Lady Aeos, if you would please.” Mechikabura says, the Kai nodding to him before kneeling, placing her hands over the scrolls. Only for her body to be consumed by a blinding flash of light. And as it fades, you see that, much like Chronoa, her tiny appearance isn't her true form. She grows several feet taller, pale hair long and flowing as that same energy halo, hers of a calm blue instead of Chronoa's blinding gold. She then directs her divine powers to the scrolls, consuming all three with her radiant energy. A few seconds later she is done, the energy fading away as she lowers her hands and reverts back to her 'normal' form with a sigh.

“It is done.” she says tiredly, slumping a bit forward. You feel her power is drained significantly, as if she isn't used to wielding that heightened level of power.
“Beautifully done.” he tells her, the woman not looking up and simply nodding. After a couple seconds she rises unsteadily to her feet, staggering a step before finding her balance. Mechikabura then magics the scrolls up to his hand, tucking them away. “And with that our business here is concluded. Unless you have something you wish to address?”

Well? Do you have any more business with Mechikabura?

Okay I have to ask, but how long did Towa actually spend torturing Arti? Anything longer than a day or so and I will be slightly worried.

“Yeah, there's one more thing. Regarding Chaya and Ace.” you tell him, then reach out telepathically to the two of them. “Chaya, Ace, come over here. We need to talk.”
“Sure thing.” your alternate timeline daughter replies, Ace not speaking but you can feel his acknowledgment through the link. A moment later they both appear, Ace lowering his hand from his forehead with your other time's daughter holding his left in her right. “What's goi-Mechikabura? And who's this? Is she-?”
“The new and former Supreme Kai of Time, Aeos.” Mechikabura says, by way of introduction. “Aeos, this is Ace. A former Time Patroller, the one summoned by the wish. And this is Chaya, Karn's daughter from that other timeline.”

“I see.” she says, looking from one to the other. You get the feeling she's measuring them to you, her expression neutral. But then, to your surprise, Ace speaks up.
“You're different.” he says, you all turning to look at him. But his gaze is fixed on Aeos, eyes locked on her own. “I can see it. You're not a monster, not like her.”
“What?” Aeos asks him, confused. “What do you mean?”

“I don't really like to talk about it. But, during my time in the Time Patrol, I got to know her pretty well.” he says, looking down at his right hand. “Not long after I was created by Shenron, a 'perfect warrior' to fix time, she used her powers to control my body. Taking away my freedom and forcing me to be her perfect weapon. But I can tell that you are different.”
“You can tell? How?” Future Chaya asks him, sounding genuinely curious.
“It's your eyes. Your eyes don't have that uncaring cruelty hers had.” he tells Aeos. “You're not a monster, you seem nothing like her. I think I could work with you.”

“Pardon?” Aeos asks, her eyes widening. “What did you just say?”
“I used to be an unwilling servant of Chronoa. Enslaved to her will. But the work itself was necessary.” Ace continues. “If you would have me, I would like to assist you in rebuilding the Time Patrol.”
“If Ace is willing to give you a shot, then I am too.” Future Chaya says, stepping up beside him. “While I always wanted to live here with my family, I can come help out as well. Besides, Ace here needs someone able to keep up with him on his missions.”

“I think that would be a wonderful idea.” Mechikabura says, clasping his hands together and turning to Aeos. “What do you think?”
“If you both are volunteering, I would be happy to have you along.” she says, giving both a small bow. “To have your perspectives, both as a former member and as the opposition, your aid could prove invaluable.”
“Wonderful. Let us head back now.” Mechikabura says, opening a dark portal behind himself as he turns to face you. “I'll be seeing you around, Karn.”

You and Mechikabura share a nod, Future Chaya then running over and wrapping her arms around your middle. Despite being transformed yourself and your daughter being in base form, she still easily picks you up over her head, holding you tight.

“Love you Daddy.” she whispers as she sets you back down, you reaching up with your right and ruffling her hair. “Daaaaad!'
“Take care of yourself, kiddo. You'll always be welcome home.” you tell her, then turn your focus on Ace. “Keep her safe, Ace.”
“I will.” the former and you guess once again Time Patroller says, the two of you sharing a nod as Mechikabura goes through the portal. Aeos follows him, then Ace. Future Chaya turns back around, giving you and Towa a wave before stepping through as well. The portal then shuts behind her, leaving you, Towa, and Raven standing on the beach.

“Well, looks like your daughter and I need to reestablish a gateway back to my lab.” Towa tells you after a moment's silence. “Mind if we have the gateway set within your home?”
“Of course, feel free. It's our home now, not just my own.” you say, Towa giving you a smile.

But as the three of you stand there, you reach out to find your youngest daughter's ki. Only to sense Maza's ki is right by King Vegeta IV's, both of their ki rising.

“Hold on. What's Maza doing?” you say, Towa looking to you. Her eyes then widen, looking over towards where her eldest son's ki is rising.
“Dammit, fool boy.” she mutters, eyes narrowing. “What are you thinking?”
“I'll go see what he's doing, and leave the gate to you and Okira.” you tell her, raising your right hand to your forehead. She nods, turning and flying back towards your home as you focus on King Vegeta's ki. However, after a moment's thought you change your mind. Instead of teleporting right to them, instead you decide to fly their way instead. Taking a deep breath you then sigh out, powering back down to your base form as you lift into the air. You head towards the city, only to pass it, seeing a stream of people all headed towards the same place: the arena. Not wanting to be overly noticed you power down even further, merging into the loose crowd as everyone flies.

“This is going to be wild. King Vegeta's going to slaughter that guy!” one says to another, you flying up behind them and joining in the crowd. “Dunno who he thinks he is, but he's toast!”
“Don't you know who that is? Apparently he's one of Karn's kids.” the other replies, the first gasping in shock. “Apparently he has that blue chick too, she's some kind of demon royal or something.”
“Of course she is. After Nappa and Turles started making half alien babies, everyone's a lot more okay with it.” the first says, sounding more annoyed than anything. “Dunno what they see in 'em, especially Nappa. No way in hell I'd ever a Ctarl-Ctarl.”

The two laugh, oblivious to your presence as everyone starts flying down into the ring, you all sitting down as you see King Vegeta IV, standing with Emilia behind him as they face down Maza. Who, despite not transforming yet either has his aura flared up about him.

“Today is the day I'm going to take you down. I'll take your throne for myself, on the first step on the path to my destiny.” Maza declares, eliciting many boos from the gathered Saiyans. “You're the first stepping stone on my path, the first obstacle between me and my rightful place, as ruler of both halves of my heritage!”
“That's some big talk. Now, let's see if you can back it up.” King Vegeta replies casually, unhooking his cape and handing it to Emilia. Then, to the gathered crowd's surprise and clear delight takes his armor off as well. Leaving his chest bare, showing the results of his heavy training since birth. While King Vegeta may not be the tallest or broadest, his body is clearly that of a warrior. One chiseled out of iron, forged in life-or-death conflict. “You challenged me, so pick your transformation.

“Heh. HRRRAAAAAAA!!” he roars, suddenly exploding into his Primal Demon form. He doesn't slowly power up or anything else to show off, instead he takes on the form near-instantly. “Give me everything you've got!”
“If you insist.” King Vegeta IV replies, clenching his fists and slowly raising his power. Making more of a show out of ascending, then once the light show is over he takes his usual Primal form. “This form should be enough to cage you.”
“Tch! I'm going to break you for that one.” Maza says, clearly ready to attack. However, King Vegeta raises a finger, holding it up before him and actually stopping Maza.

“Now, hold on. Before this contest can begin, we need a referee. Someone to officiate this fight.” the king says, turning to Emilia. But, before he says anything Maza speaks up.
“Absolutely not, your dog can't officiate a fight fairly.” Maza says, clearly upsetting both King Vegeta and Emilia. “We need a neutral referee.”

You choke down on your power, suppressing it as far as you can while closing your eyes, taking a deep breath in and exhaling, doubling forward as the King's gaze passes by your section of the crowd. A moment later you look back up to see his gaze is off to your right, where suddenly two figures leap down to the arena. Two familiar faces, two you'll never forget.

“We'll take care of that, my king!” Leyas calls, landing on the corner of the arena beside his sister.
“Leave the refereeing to us!” Sarada declares, you noticing Maza giving them a look. He looks... Distrustful of them, as if he expects them to interfere in the fight. But as both twins transform, taking on THEIR Primal Demon forms as well, Leyas steps forward.
“The rules are simple! Touch anywhere other than this arena floor, get knocked unconscious for a ten count, or surrender and you lose!” Leyas bellows, his voice booming inside the arena. “Challenger, are you ready?”

“Ready.” Maza answers, taking the fighting stance you'd taught him.
“My King, are you ready?” Leyas calls, turning to Vegeta. Who also takes the stance you'd taught him, the two students of yours staring each other down.
“Always.” King Vegeta answers, Maza raising his right hand over his head, stepping back to the opposite corner Sarada's standing at.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGUGQRKygp4

“BEGIN!” Leyas roars, throwing his arm down. And both fighters take off at lightspeed, slamming their right fists together. The shock wave washes over the crowd, you sensing several weaker Saiyans blown completely out of the bowl-shape, sent flying by the force of the collision. Even the twins have to brace themselves against the force of the impact, but as the wave passes you see something rather interesting. You notice Vegeta's feet are firmly planted on the arena floor, while Maza's body hangs suspended in the air.
“HRRRAAAAAA!!” your half-demon son roars, aura blazing as he tries to push the king back. Instead of fighting him strength-against-strength, as you can tell Maza does have an edge, King Vegeta instead goes with the motion, twisting his body clockwise as he lets Maza power through, twisting his body so the punch sails harmlessly past. And before he can recover, Vegeta's already closed in, swinging a powerful left hook right into his jaw. The angle of the king's punch sending Maza crashing down into the arena floor near his feet.

Immediately King Vegeta leaps into the air, gathering his ki into both hands and unleashing a barrage of energy shots down at the newly-made crater. He fires a hundred or two shots in just a couple seconds, ending the attack as his view is obscured. A moment later Maza shoots up and out of the cloud, closing in on King Vegeta with a flying turning right kick. Forcing Vegeta to block with his left forearm, bracing the point of impact with his right. Yet the force is too much for him to withstand, sending Vegeta flying back down towards the arena. He flips once, landing lightly on his feet and sliding to a stop just before Maza comes streaking down once more. Only this time the king doesn't meet him fist-to-fist.

“HRRRRYAAAAA!!” Maza roars, swinging a heavy right. But Vegeta, instead of blocking deflects the strike just past him with his left palm to Maza's wrist, using his right forearm against his elbow to control his strike. Causing Maza, who is moving too fast to slow down, to smash fist-first into the arena floor behind him.
“Man, King Vegeta's in top form today!” one of the two you'd followed in says to your right, sounding awed by the show.
“Yeah, but this other guy's pretty good too! I thought only Leyas and Sarada could get that form?” the other replies as Vegeta flies back out of the smoke, closer towards the arena's edge. Followed closely by Maza, your half-demon son in hot pursuit.
“Get BACK here!” Maza roars, gathering his ki into his left fist then thrusting it forward. Firing a powerful comet of ki at Vegeta. Who plants his feet, sliding to a stop and backhanding it away and towards the air with his right, Maza closing in. Your son then fires a heavy right, King Vegeta ducking the blow. Then, before Maza can recover King Vegeta fires back.

“HAAAAA!!” Vegeta roars, firing a heavy left into his guts.
“GYUUUH?!” Maza exclaims, doubling over and leaving his chin open. Vegeta following up with a flying right knee to the chin. Maza's head snaps back, the king then reaching out and grabbing his left ankle in his hands. Then, with a twist tosses him right to the ground, aimed at the out-of-bounds area between the arena floor and the first row of seats. But he won't be defeated so easily, unleashing a massively powerful Explosive Wave as he's inches from hitting the ground. “HAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!”

His power shreds the ground, taking a chunk out of both the wall to protect the stands as well as the arena itself, blowing away the ground he would have hit and keeping him in the fight. But Vegeta won't let him save himself so easily, leveling his right hand down at him.

“Let's see how you handle THIS!” the king shouts, firing a massive azure ball of energy down at your half-demon son. “Big Bang Attack!”

You watch as his attack slams into Maza, your boy vanishing in the gigantic explosion his blast causes. The shock waves from his blast cause dozens of audience members to be blown clear out of the arena, you bracing yourself against the sudden surge of power. Everything is obscured by a massive smoke cloud, which slowly fades. Only to reveal Maza used your technique to avoid any damage. You see him floating inside his own Barrier, arms spread as he stares up at the King. Vegeta simply smirks, lowering his hand and drifting back down to the arena floor, retaking his fighting stance while Maza lowers his shield. And with his left Vegeta makes the 'come here' gesture with his fingers, Maza blazing his aura in response. Seems that this fight is just getting started.

But what do you do?

Silently you watch on as Maza powers up to his limits, unleashing one hundred percent of his power with a roar. Meanwhile King Vegeta, although he appears to be cool and collected as Maza rushes him, you can feel that he's already at his strongest. Maza has a noticeable strength advantage, but your king doesn't get into contests of raw power. Instead he evades Maza's heavy blows, using the Su Ma technique to dance between them and land painful counters. He slips past Maza's heavy right, driving his own right knee up into your son's liver and following with a left cross to the jaw before backflipping, narrowly ducking the retaliatory backfist. And, while upside down Vegeta fires his right foot up into the stronger warrior's jaw, sending him soaring higher into the air as the crowd cheers.

“Look at Vegeta go! It's like he's not even trying!” a woman to your left shouts excitedly, but you know better. He immediately drops back down to the ground, taking a deep, calming breath while Maza reorients himself. After tumbling for a few seconds Maza rights himself, snarling in anger as he can no doubt sense the disparity in their strengths. Even from where you are you can see the veins bulging in his forehead, but instead of rushing wildly he stops, freezing in place a moment before closing his eyes. He takes a deep breath of his own, you sensing his rampaging aura become calmer and more focused. He then exhales, opening his eyes as he studies Vegeta. But he doesn't look down upon the king, instead you can tell your son is carefully appraising what has happened so far. And after a couple seconds, slowly begins descending back to the arena floor. Only for Vegeta to start wavering, it taking you a moment to recognize that isn't Vegeta at all but an afterimage!

“HAAAAA!!” King Vegeta bellows, fingers laced together as he slams them both into the base of Maza's neck, catching him by complete surprise. Fortunately he'd reacted quickly, partially activating his own Energy Body. Which shatters as Vegeta's blow lands, sending your son crashing down to the ground. But he's still conscious, landing on all fours and immediately moving. Vanishing just as Vegeta's foot appears through the image he'd left behind, both warriors trading blows to their afterimages for a dozen times, Maza missing last before twisting, trading kicks to the jaw with the king. “GUH!”
“GYAAH!” Maza shouts, the heavy double blow knocking them both back away from each other. However, your son recovers first, sweeping his right hand in an arc and causing another explosion. One that blows the king back, Vegeta flipping once and landing on his feet.

Only for Maza to be dashing back in again, once again going for the heavy right. Vegeta plants his feet, readying himself for the blow only for Maza to fake the attack, swinging too early and flipping his entire body forward into an axe kick. Causing you to smirk as he copies your move.

“Heh, not bad.” you mutter, but it wasn't enough. King Vegeta isn't so easily fooled, not after you'd hit him with that move before. He raises both arms into an 'X', catching his leg at his arms intersecting point. Only for Maza to then flip back, kicking up with his left and catching Vegeta on the chin. Maza flips back to his feet, drawing his ki into both hands.
“Take this! FINAL FLASH!” Maza bellows, slamming his wrists together and unleashing a massive golden beam at nearly point-blank range. You feel King Vegeta, struggling to defend himself against the torrent of power get blasted back and away from your son. Sent further and further into the sky, nearly reaching the edge of the planet's atmosphere before you feel him break free. Maza senses this too, ending the blast a second later as he takes a dozen quick breaths, trying to regain control of his breathing. Which is the only sound for several seconds, until a massive roar goes up from the crowd. Most of them can't sense what happened, but you pick out dozens all looking up towards where you can still sense your king, who is no doubt recovering from the attack as well. “That'll teach you. To look down. On me.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNW9lmujZxU

“Not bad. I'm impressed.” King Vegeta says as he is somehow just rising up out of Maza's own shadow. Before your son can fully turn Vegeta slams his right fist square into Maza's jaw. Hitting your boy so hard he spins in a circle before dropping to all fours, stunned. The crowd's roaring grows even louder upon seeing their king, bruised and battered from the blast though he is, still standing tall. Making a different gesture than any you've seen before, first two fingers of his left hand extended, thumb and other two pressed to his palm he fires several rings of golden ki from his fingertips. One binds each of Maza's wrists and ankles, then with a clenching gesture the rings all fly apart. Stretching him out as if someone is pulling him apart, held suspended in the air and leaving him seemingly defenseless. “You've got power, Maza. I'll give you that. But power alone isn't enough to beat me.”

Vegeta then blurs to Maza, driving his right fist up into your boy's guts.

“Guuuhaaack!” Maza cries out as Vegeta strikes, nearly doubling him over Then, while held helpless Maza fires a rapid barrage of a dozen heavy blows, ending his combination with a heavy left side kick. Sending Maza flying back, streaking towards the arena wall once more. Planting his feet, Vegeta thrusts his arm towards your son, controlling the rings and sending them towards the wall. But Maza refuses to quit, roaring from his very soul and blazing his aura, his Explosive Wave shredding the light rings. He then ends the wave, panting as he floats over the outside of the ring, trying to catch his breath.

“Your determination is admirable, Maza.” King Vegeta says, returning to his fighting stance while gathering his energy into his right . No doubt preparing what he thinks will be the final blow. “But you can't beat me.”
“Oh yeah? I've got o-one last trick. Let's see you withstand THIS!” your son says, chest heaving as he raises his left hand overhead. You all watch as he rapidly forms a giant ball of ki, a seemingly-desperate last ditch effort. But you get the feeling he's up to something. He then throws his right forward, firing a familiar red ball of energy at the king. Who tries to deflect it instead of dodging, only for Maza's attack to work exactly as planned. He and Vegeta instantly switch places at the moment of contact, Maza immediately firing his energy down just like your mother's Sky Cannon. Form that mass of energy fires a solid, hyper-dense beam of ki directly into the king, sending him straight down towards the ground. You can't believe it, Maza actually did it!

“HRRRROOOOOAAAAAAAAR!!” King Vegeta roars, his voice sounding far more Oozaru-like than normal as you suddenly feel his ki spiking. His power surges, a moment later punching up and through Maza's attack. Your Piercing Fist spiraling around his right hand. Maza looks absolutely stunned, no doubt having expected this attack to absolutely win him the fight. You can see it in his body language as he mentally loses the fight then and there, losing faith in himself that he can still prevail as his energy orb dissipates. But as you look at them both, King Vegeta is in rough shape as well. His power has been nearly cut in half, Maza still having much more in the tank than your king. But with his will broken, he can't beat Vegeta on his own. This fight is over.

But do you let it end this way?
>Don't interfere, if he has quit in him then he doesn't deserve to beat Vegeta
>Call out to Maza, tell him to not give up yet! To never quit until the battle is over
>Telepathically ask Maza if this is how he wants this fight to end, if he's ready to give up already

You know Maza can still pull through, if he just gives it one more push he'd realize that he could actually beat King Vegeta. But as he stands there, shoulders slumped and defeat written all over his face, you know he doesn't have it in himself to win. And while you consider calling out, shouting or telepathically telling him he can still win, this isn't your fight. He'll have to learn this lesson the hard way.

“It's over.” King Vegeta says, leveling his hand at Maza and firing another azure ki orb into his chest. The ball doesn't explode as it strikes your son, who doesn't even try to dodge as it pushes him back. The crowd roars, cheering on his loss as your son is pushed off the arena and sent crashing back-first into the wall. King Vegeta ends his attack, the orb vanishing as Maza collapses face-first to the ground.
“Maza is out of bounds! The winner is KING VEGETA!” Sarada shouts, the crowd roaring as Vegeta powers down with a sigh, flying over and landing by the downed warrior. You watch as he stands there, waiting for Maza to stir. Seeing the king's boots Maza looks up, seeing your, and his king offering his hand down to him. Even from where you are in the stands, you can see the conflicting emotions on your son's face. You can almost feel the whirlwind of emotions in his mind as he looks to Vegeta, but after a few pointed seconds of staring seems to begrudgingly accept. Allowing his king to help him back upright. The two exchange words, Vegeta seemingly trying to encourage Maza a moment. But your son only nods rigidly, then lifts up into the air and takes off. Not towards the ship or anyone else, but to the northern pole of the planet where no one lives.

“Not bad. But you'd better step up your game if you don't want him to get you next time.” you think to Vegeta, who freezes a moment before looking around. After two seconds you both make eye contact, the king smirking at you as he turns to Emilia, putting his armor back on. But you're done here, raising your right hand to your forehead as you focus on Maza's energy. After a few seconds you feel him stop, then zero in on him and teleport to your son with Instant Transmission. Leaving the arena behind, you teleport to the rocky beach, your son sitting on the edge overlooking the water as you appear behind him. “Maza.”

“What do you want?” he asks, sounding just... Drained. There's no fire to his voice, he sounds downtrodden. But you don't say anything, just walking up behind your son and standing beside him a moment. Then, you reach over, putting your right hand on his right shoulder, pulling him to your side. But still say nothing. “Fa...Dad?”

“I saw your fight.” you tell him, looking down to see your son's expression. He looks like he's barely holding back tears, eyes watery before looking away. “You almost had him.”
“Almost isn't GOOD ENOUGH!” he shouts, stepping out of your grip and turning to face you, the tears flowing freely now. “I-! I wasn't good enough...”
“That's not true. You COULD have won that fight.” you say to your son as he hangs his head in shame. Which causes his gaze to snap back up to yours. “I was watching the entire thing. You nearly had him.”

“He got out of my final attack!” Maza shouts, clenching his fists in frustration as his aura flares back up around him. Lightning crackles around him as he glares.
“Yes, he managed to escape that one. But you still had more power left than he did.” you tell him, Maza's eyes widening in shock. “You had the advantage. But because that attack you'd bet so much on, that you were so certain would beat him failed, you just... Gave up. Why?”
“What?” he asks, sounding completely stunned. “What did you say?”

“You had him backed into a corner. But because he escaped what you thought he couldn't, you just quit. Why?” you ask him again. Maza looks from you down to his fist, opening his hand as he stares at it in silence. “What happened? What was going through your head?”
“I-I don...” he starts, going quiet. You can see it on his face as he looks back, looking over what happened more critically. You sit down, patting the side of the cliff beside you carefully. Maza looks up, then seeing you invitation sits down beside you, hanging your feet off the edge of the cliffs over the water far below. “Why? I... I had him. If I'd just given a little more, then... Just maybe...”

He doesn't say anything for a while after this, looking up from his hands and out over the sea, the sound of waves crashing against the rocks below and the wind over the rocks the only sounds. Then, after a minute or two he suddenly stands up, you turning to see a new fire burning in his eyes.

“Dammit. How could I have been so blind?” he asks himself, clenching his fists and powering back up. He lost surprisingly little of his power from that fight with Vegeta, his power rising back up to near one hundred percent. “Alright, King Vegeta. Round two asshole!”

And before you can react he kicks off the ground, blasting into the air back towards the king. Well, shit.

Actually now that I think about it, we could probably chain a lot of our Djem-So blocks and counters into some mean little grappling techniques.
Like that high forearm block Karn likes to do, that could totally chain into a wrist lock, then a quick collar tie or head snatch, then a pass around the back for a rear naked choke or a full nelson or whatever else.
God grappling is so good.

“Dammit.” you mutter, kicking off after him and blazing up into your Berserker God form. Blasting past him, turning and throwing your arms out to the sides as you stop, forcing him to stop before crashing into your chest.
“Wha-?! What are you doing?” Maza asks you, his energy blazing around him. “I've got to go back for the rematch! I can win this!”
“You already lost.” you tell him, tone serious. “The fight's over.”

“Like hell it is! I've still got enough power to go again!” he shouts, blazing his aura higher. “If we go again, I'll definitely win now!”
“You already lost, Maza.” you say, refusing to move. “Accept it.”
“No way!” he roars, trying to fly up and over you. But you don't let him go, reaching up and snatching his ankle with your right hand.
“HAAA!” you bellow, pitching him down at the ground. He flips backwards, landing on all fours with a snarl. “Maza, that's enough. Stop.”

“GRRRR! HRRAAAA!!” he roars, raising his right hand and firing a powerful blast at you. Leveling your right you catch his attack, stopping it in place for a couple seconds before clenching your fist, detonating the orb. And as the smoke clears, you see Maza charging up directly at you. “Haaaah.” you sigh out, readying yourself as you take your stance. Maza charges, closing in and readying a heavy right. But it was a feint, half-swinging his right before twisting and firing a sharp left jab at your face. Twisting your body and leaning your head back, you narrowly avoid the fast blow, slipping past his body. Before he can draw his hand back you grab his left wrist with your own left, reaching around with your right to grab his right wrist as well. Then, before he can react you drive your right knee up and into his back between his shoulders.

“GAAAAAHuuHAAAAAA!” he cries out, your heavy blow along with your hold of his arms immobilizing him. Arms stretched painfully back straight due to your grip, you have him trapped. “GYAAAAAAH!”
“That's enough, Maza.” you say, not letting up the pressure in the slightest. If you let him have even a bit of slack in his arms, he could flip backwards and break free, driving his knee into your face. A lesson you'd learned practicing with Meloka years ago, when she'd used the same move to escape. “Stop.”
“GRRRR! I! WON'T! QUIT!!” he snarls, you sensing his power surging. As he does, you raise your own power as well, quickly forming your Energy Body around yourself. “HAAAAAA!!”

With a roar he unleashes another Explosive Wave, but your own ki shields you from the blast. You feel layers of your ki get blasted away, yet he isn't powerful enough to get through your technique. Gritting your teeth you put a bit more pressure on his back with your knee, Maza ending the attack as he cries out in pain.

“Enough, Maza. Stop.” you order, feeling your son continue trying to pull against your grip for another few moments. But, you then feel it when he relents, powering back down. As his powerlevel drops you release him, letting go of his arms and letting him fall forward a bit. As your son returns to his base form he drifts down towards the ground. You follow him, not powering back down yourself as he lands, falling down to all fours.
“Dammit. Why? Why...?” he mutters, raising his right and slamming his fist on the ground. Cracking the tree root his fist strikes, sending splinters flying around as you land just beside him. For a moment you just stand there, unsure how to react. But after a couple seconds you kneel down, placing your right hand on his back. “I did it again. I gave up.”

“No Maza, this was different.” you tell him, your son looking up to you as the tears start falling again. “You lost to King Vegeta because you quit. I beat you because you can't beat me, they aren't the same.”
“But it IS the same. I quit.” he tells you, looking back down at the ground. “I gave up before giving it my all, before trying my best. I quit.”
“Yes, you did. Now you know what you need to work on.” you tell him as you stand up, Maza turning his head and looking up to you. “You have a weakness. One you now realize that you have. The question is: what will you do about it?”

“Huh?” he asks, eyes widening a bit. “What do you mean?”
“Today you learned that you have a weakness. One that can cost you in the future.” you tell him. “Now all that remains is what you'll do now. What will you do about this weakness? Will you give in to it, to let it define you moving forward? Or will you fix it? Will you do whatever it takes to improve, or continue to accept inferiority?”
“Fix it...?” he says, turning from you and looking down at his hands. For several seconds of silence he says noting, then he slowly pushes himself back upright. He rises back to his full height, turning to you with a serious expression on his face. “You're right. Thank you, Father.”

“That's a much better look.” you say, giving him a nod of approval. “So, what is your plan? How do you plan on tackling this issue?”
“I need to see Milha. If I can withstand some of her magics, I'll definitely be able to overcome anything.” he says, closing his eyes as he no doubt starts searching for her ki. You watch as his brows furrow, then after a few moments open his eyes. “She's gone. Where did she go? Where's Milha?”

Well? What do you tell him?
>Tell him where she went and why, and that his mother has the culprit captured in her realm
>Tell him she went to stay with Chilli and the Crimson Demon Clan for a while, to spend more time among the more magically-inclined. Don't tell him what happened with Arti

“She's, well... Your sister isn't here.” you tell him, sighing out as you sit down in front of him. His expression grows more worried, you gesturing for him to sit. He does so, sitting cross-legged in front of you. “From what I understand happened...”

You tell him about his sister coming to you, telling you of her problem and then leaving earlier today to go spend time off world. But at this his anger explodes, your son surging to his feet.

“And you just let her go?!” he shouts, clearly angry. “Where is that bitch Arti, I'm going to rip her apart!”
“Calm down Maza. She's already handled.” you say, Maza freezing. He looks down slowly at you, his expression slightly worried. But you give him a smirk. “Your mother's got her, and has had her in her realm since your sister left. Whatever you'd do to her would be a mercy compared to whatever Towa is doing.”
“I...See.” he replies, trying to suppress a shudder running up his back. Clearly he has an idea of what she's doing to that girl. “Would have been more merciful to just kill her.”

“If you want, I can teleport you over there, if they're not too busy.” you say, Maza shaking his head. “You sure?”
“No. After what happened, I reckon it's best to let her have some time without her powers.” he tells you, sounding as if something similar'd happened before. Which confuses you, how would he.... Wait. Did something like this happen back when they were prisoners of the Time Patrol? You hadn't thought to ask her, but as you see Maza turn, looking back towards the cliff you'd both been sitting on, decide not to ask him right now either. You'll ask your daughter yourself, at some point when she's ready to talk. “I'll find my own way. Perhaps Chaya will... Wait, she's gone too? And Ace?”
“They left not long ago. They joined Mechikabura and the new Time Kai, Aeos to rebuild the Time Patrol.”

“Really? Aeos?” he asks, raising a brow and bringing a hand to his chin. Clearly he knows more about this Aeos than you, Towa no doubt having shown him the former Time Kai before. “Huh. Well, I guess if we need an interim Time Kai, a former Time Kai'd be the best choice.”
“So, what now?” you ask him, turning your son's attention back to the present. “How do you plan on moving forward?”
“I have to improve myself. But, not as much physically.” he says, looking down at his right hand a moment. He then raises his gaze to yours, determination burning bright. “I need a favor.”

-Five Minutes Later-

“I see. You wish to study our ways, to find balance in your soul and strengthen your mind.” Elder Pybara says, stroking one of his whiskers idly. “Well, I do not see any reason to reject you out-of-hand. Come, young warrior. I shall test your aptitude.”
“Thank you, elder.” Maza says, giving him a proper bow as the seated Yardratian Elder rises back to his feet, your son then turning to you. And, to your surprise, also bows to you. “And thank you, Father. When I return, I shall be a far stronger man.”
“Good luck, my son.” you say, ignoring his hand as he raises it for a shake, embracing your son. He's shocked for a moment before returning the gesture, clutching you tight. You then let him go, now taking his wrist in your hand in the warrior shake. “I eagerly await your return.”

He then turns, following the Yardratian elder out of his home. You then bring your right hand back to your forehead, deciding who to go to.

As Maza leaves the room, your ki focused out to sense others' ki, you feel an energy you'd not been expecting. From being out wherever the Heeters' base is, the four of them you can't actually sense from here, you wonder what he's doing. So, locking onto his ki you teleport with your Instant Transmission. Leaving Planet Yardrat behind, the world changing back to the familiar metal walls of the Lucrehulk. Arctus is standing in the giant ship's left arm, staring out into space. The moment you appear he whirls, drawing his azure light blade and pointing it at you.

“WHO-?! Oh, Karn! What are your doing?” he asks, deactivating his blade and hanging it back on his belt. “Just coming out of the blue like that, didn't think to send a message first?”
“Sorry, was just curious what you were up to.” you tell him. “A week ago you were by the Heeters' base, today you're all the way out here on the other side of the universe. Something big going on?”
“Yeah, you can say that.” he replies, brows furrowing. “Based on the patterns we've seen, I'm heading to where the next attack will be.”

“Darkseid.” you say, clenching your fists. That bastard need to leave your universe alone already. But Arctus catches you by surprise, shaking his head.
“No, not him. At least, I don't think it's him.” he replies, you raising a brow as he starts tapping on his wrist-mounted computer. “From the patterns of the attacks, as well as scanning across the detectable energy spectrum, we noticed something. Both of the planets that were erased both registered higher levels of a specific, unique radiation before vanishing. And, by cross referencing that energy across the universe, we have found two planets with that same energy signature. One of which is Namek, where Cooler is headed towards. That energy signature is far weaker, and much less likely to be the target. But it is a more important world, what with the Dragonballs there and all. While I am headed to the other. Not to engage, but to simply observe. And once the target arrives, I'll send the message to Lord Freeza and Lord Cooler.”

“An ambush? But won't this world destroyer notice?” you ask, Arctus looking slightly worried at this.
“It is possible. But if the Lucrehulk is destroyed, King Cold will receive an automated message.” he tells you. “Should anything happen on my watch, someone will know. We WILL know who has been disappearing the planets. One way or another, whoever has been destroying our worlds will be caught!”

“If you need anything out here, let me know.” you tell him. “And when you find this bastard, make sure they-”

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

“The hell?” you wonder aloud as a deafening klaxon rings out, Arctus' fingers immediately flying over his keyboard. “What's going on?”
“The planet's radiation level suddenly spiked. Dammit, we're not close enough!” he says, turning and sprinting down the mostly empty wing of the massive ship. You follow along, realizing what's going on immediately. The planet is already about to disappear. “No, no no, not yet! I just need more time!”

“Cooler, I'm with Arctus! The alarm's going right now!” you think to the emperor. “He said the planet's radiation is spiking!”
“Karn? Wait, what?!” he exclaims, his shock apparent through the link. “Go, NOW! Fly as fast as you can towards the planet, now! I'll teleport to you in ten seconds!”
“Right!” you reply as Cooler ends the telepathic link, powering back up to your Berserker God form. Arctus, which way is the planet?”
“Dead ahead. GO!” he shouts, you turning and sliding to a stop, kicking off the metal floor and dashing through the clear energy field. You blast a bit ahead, turning back to the Lucrehulk to aim yourself properly. It takes you a moment, then as you turn your back on it and take off, you leave the ship behind in an instant.

Surprise, second roll is taking the best of four after transforming. Bringing the second roll to 87/100, wonder if this'll change how things play out?

Flying through the void of space, you realize after a few seconds that you don't know where this planet is, or what it looks like. However, suddenly you sense a familiar divine presence. Turning slightly to alter your course, you blitz towards the divine ki. You feel the distance between the two of you rapidly shrinking, blazing your energy as you approach. Then, as you get close you slow down, finally stopping after what feels like several hundred yards. Only to see a strange pair of figures before you, between you and what looks like a GIANT Dragonball. You remember what they look like, from talking with Freeza. This one, however, is easily the size of an entire planet, its red stars shining in the void of space as the silhouettes of two beings turn. For a moment you'd assumed it was Lord Beerus and Whis, but as they turn and your emerald aura reveals their faces, you see you were mistaken. Instead of Whis, the angel seems to be a woman with a ponytail and wearing green instead of maroon. Instead of Beerus, this cat-like being looks quite obese, wearing red pants instead of Beerus' usual blue.

“Huuuh? Who're you?” the cat man says, sounding more irritated than anything. But his angel seems far more concerned. “Go away, or I'll destroy you too. Can't you see I'm busy here?”
“Lord Champa. This being isn't a normal mortal.” she says, her voice soothing yet noticeably derogatory, as if speaking down to a child. “That mortal is radiating with anti-divine power, similar to the Godeaters'. I recommend destroying it immediately, without delay.”
“Hmmm, very well. I don't want to be caught anyway.” he tells her, then turns his focus to you while leveling his right palm at you as you take your fighting stance. “Can't leave any witnesses who might tell Beerus what's going on, after all. Hakai.”

>Are you ready to start preparing for a tournament arc?

This actually brings up a very relevant question. GD, is Vados allowed to rewind time outside of her own Universe?
And perhaps even more importantly, would Whis care enough about Champa to do so on Vados' behalf?
>>
>>5954117
Even more important question, can we bang Vados?
>>
>>5954110
He's going to Instant Transmission to you as you're being Hakai'd. We'll see how he reacts to that.
The Kais are already shitting themselves, as they had no idea Champa was in the 7th. Beerus is awake, while Meloka suddenly got a bad feeling through her link to you.
Meloka will absolutely be involved, as Whis's student. As for the whole lineup, you have:
Karn, Meloka, Chilli, Chaya, Broly, Maza, Freeza, Cooler, Ubo, King Vegeta, Ginyu, Guldo, etc. Those who're originally from outside your timeline probably won't be permitted to participate, but will get to watch.
>>5954112
Yeah. Shit's gone from zero to dangerous in an instant. You can resist, but how powerful is Berserker God truly against the Destroyer's power?
>>5954114
Gross, that meat's far too fatty.
>>5954117
Better question is can Vados even rewind time? Do all the angels have the same power, or are they each unique?
Not if Whis cares about Champa, but if BEERUS cares enough about Champa to have Whis save him.
>>5954134
No. Unironically, you cannot even touch her.

Have to give it to the Japs, they have the art of the commercial down to a science. I'll never forget the "Long Long Man" saga.
>>
>>5954951
Well they understand that nobody actually likes their media being interrupted by ads, so they should be somewhat entertaining by themselves to offset that negative reaction. And short too.

Yes, that's what advertisers have forgotten. That and proportionality. Not waiting through a minute of ads for a 2 minute youtube video, which is why I've not seen a single youtube ad for almost a decade now.
>>5955058
That's why they are losing. If you make ads good enough to watch, and not too long compared to the content being consumed, no one minds. Not into that parasocial shit, talking with you anons is as parasocial as I'll ever get.
>tng
From the image, I'm going to hazard a guess as to star trek? Never watched any of that myself
>>
>>5956575
I feel people have misappropriated the parasocial term. If there is direct interaction, it is no longer parasocial. Parasocial is just an imaginary one sided friendship. You and I talking here isn't parasocial. If either of us started talking out loud in response to a podcast or something as if we were part of the conversation is parasocial.

It only applies where someone has a mental illness that makes them believe in the unreal. Like what simps have. She doesn't love them, but they sure think she does.
>>

>Not into that parasocial shit, talking with you anons is as parasocial as I'll ever get.
Suit yourself I suppose.
>From the image, I'm going to hazard a guess as to star trek? Never watched any of that myself
Correct. If you ever get some free time, I highly recommend going through The Original Series, The Next Generation, and Deep Space 9.
You can skip Voyager if you feel like it, and DO NOT WATCH PICARD.
>>
>>5956581
I've seen how deranged people are about streamers, especially virtual ones. They think these streamers genuinely like them and are their friends, but the only time the streamer acknowledges them is either for a joke, to ban, or because the viewer is a payer sending a LOT of money to them. Instead of improving their own situations, they donate it to millionaires who make 10-1000x+ what they do a year. Downright unhealthy, probably just as unhealthy as those ai girlfriends if not even worse.
>>5956597
>DO NOT WATCH PICARD
Why's that? I heard that Patrick Stewart was the only captain better than the og himself, Shatner. Or is that like one of those, for "MoDeRn AuDiEnCeS" prequel/remake garbage?
>>
>>5956622
Picard got that reputation on The Next Generation, his first appearance. Star Trek: Picard is one of those modern sequels like you described and sucks cock.
But besides that, yeah I'd recommend pretty much all of the mainline series and even some of the old TOS movies.
>>
>>5956641
Never going to have that kind of time, not until SCQ eventually reaches an end. But it's always a shame when something you love gets corrupted by modern, talentless hacks who only derive joy from destroying all the good things in the world people love.
>>
Also only started on the intermission for this week today, so we're not going to have a rather long one. It will be shorter and more to the point, following up on the Milha story.
>>
Small teaser for tonight. But do you think Milha, in all her magical study, knows how to tap into a world's natural mana? Being trapped in the lab for so long, then the magically-isolated Conton City wouldn't be conducive for such learning after all.
>>
>>5957429
>But do you think Milha, in all her magical study, knows how to tap into a world's natural mana
Yes. :)
>>
Update, been struggling with this intermission for the last three hours and haven't made a lick of progress. It's not working, so I'm going to end up scrapping it. No intermission this week, going to put my focus on getting the opening for this weekend ready instead. Maybe a change of pace will clear this writer's block, get me out of this deadlock I'm in. Haven't even made it past a third post's worth yet.
>>
I’m really sorry I wasn’t able to get any intermission done this week. Had a good idea where Chilli’d show Milha how to tap into the ley lines running beneath his home after showing her around the village. Milha feeling down about not being accepted anywhere like he is with the village and some of the outsiders too until she connects with the ley line, feeling the power of this planet of new beginnings coursing through her and realizing she too can ‘start over’ in the Crimson Demon village. But since I can’t write it for shit this week at least I’ll give you all that bit, and hopefully I’ll be able to write it as the epilogue instead.
>>
No worries, mate. Looking forward to this weekend's session.

>Fatfuck the Cat about to get stomped
I don’t think you understand how powerful a Destroyer, even one who doesn’t train in the slightest really is. Champa may be one of the weakest Destroyers, but you don’t stand a chance. Going to have to get creative if you want to get out alive.
And as far as Divine Dragon Force goes, well. You’ll have to wait and see

Hey GD, quick question. Are Kais Divine down to the cellular level?
I only ask because I was wondering if we could still tap into the Kindled Berserker Soul if and when Zamasu decides to play bodysnatcher.
>>
>>5957658
> Champa may be one of the weakest Destroyers
He is? I thought that he was even with Beerus, but that might be because I remember him more as being Beerus's twin brother.

Now that I think about it, which destroyers are stronger than others? I always guessed that a destroyer was weaker the higher the mortal level in their universe is, probably because they don't need to destroy as many worlds.
>>
>>5957944
>He is? I thought that he was even with Beerus
Beerus and and Champa are about even in terms of raw power, but his lack of conditioning (as evidenced by his build) and his extremely poor discipline (even compared to Beerus) definitely put him on the lower end of the spectrum overall. Beerus also enjoys two distinct advantages over Champa outside of just being more fit.
One, he's competent enough with Ultra Instinct to at least make use of the absolute lowest form of it. That's enough to close the gap between himself and GoDs like Belmod, even if only temporarily.
Two, his hobbies include eating, sleeping, and FIGHTING. That implies he at least fights semi-regularly and enjoys the benefits of that. Champa very clearly DOESN'T, and it shows.
>>
>>5957941
Yes, they're biologically divine. As for Zamasu, well. Now that there's a new SKoT in charge of the timelines, that arc may not play out quite like before.
>>5957944
Yes, in terms of raw power they are. However, Champa to Beerus is like comparing a lump of raw iron to a tempered, high-carbon steel blade. Sure, both CAN kill you, but one does a far better, more efficient job. And as Karn shows, raw power isn't everything. Just one block of an indomitable fortress.
That means they have more time to hone their powers. Or devolve into idolatry like Champa, either or. But as far as most dangerous Destroyer, that is more than likely either Beerus or Belmond. Quitela maybe 3rd, as he was still standing with Beerus 1v1 after the others were downed in the Zeno Expo.
>>5957960
Beerus, unlike the other Destroyers is a fighter, a warrior. Man's the Saitama of DB, just looking for a warrior to stimulate his existence. Man got so bored he started unlocking completely incompatible skill trees (Ego vs Instinct) because he's that bored.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After meeting with Mechikabura and the new Supreme Kai of Time Aeos, Towa and your half-demon family getting added to jos Time Scroll so as to not have to keep jumping through time, Maza then challenged King Vegeta IV for his throne. Despite being weaker than the half-demon, King Vegeta refused to quit, breaking Maza's will and emerging triumphant. Then, after encouraging him only to have to subdue him to prevent him from trying for an immediate rematch, Karn took him to study under the Yardratian Elder Pybara. Where, planning to return home, instead traveled to Arctus, teleporting to him via Instant Transmission only to learn he's working to catch whoever has been behind the planets' disappearing recently. The alarm sounds, Karn taking off to intercept the culprits before they could vanish only to find a being radiating with divine power, looking like an obese Beerus with his own attendant too. And as we rejoin Karn, that deity unleashes the power of a Destroyer.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qbb5KHYMig

“HAKAI.” he commands, you immediately reacting on instinct.
“HRRRRAAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, emerald ki exploding out of your body in a powerful Explosive Wave. Instantly you feel your energy simply vanishing, disappearing as it reaches a certain radius out from you. Despite unleashing your full power, despite giving it one hundred percent, the Destroyer's power continues to simply erase your own. You instantly realize the difference between a Destroyer toying with you, like Beerus was back on your world, and one intent on erasing you from existence. If you don't do something, and soon, you're going to die. “Dammit!” It's now or never!”

And, not backing down, you dash towards the Destroyer. Whose eyes widen in surprise, clearly not expecting you to charge AT him.

“Wh-What?!” he exclaims, you closing the gap.
“DIVINE DRAGON FORCE!” you roar, drawing your right back as you try and summon your Stand. And, with a roar, your crimson-scaled Stand bellows. Then, now within range you swing. Firing the heaviest right you've ever thrown, your Stand lunging for his head. Only for the attendant to interpose her staff, Divine Dragon Force's teeth gnashing against the pole. Seeing this, and with only an instant to react you pull your elbow in, twisting your body and changing the overhand into a more thrusting right, thumb up as your fist slams into the fat cat's guts. “GRRRRAAAAAH!!”

“Gyuuuuh?!” he wheezes as your fist strikes him, knocking the Destroyer back and breaking his concentration. The instant it does you feel your energy levels finally stabilize, sighing out and ending your technique. In only a few seconds he already destroyed over half of your total ki. Leaving you panting in exhaustion, turning your focus from the Destroyer to the angel. Who looks genuinely surprised as your Stand's teeth remain clenched around its staff, glaring at her.
“The hell are you doing in my universe?” you ask her, voice a low grumble as your Stand growls at her with emerald fire-blazing eyes. Yet she doesn't release her staff, simply turning her focus from it to you.
“I would advise you to release that. You know not what you do.” she says, sounding more bored than shocked.

“Vados! What in the world was that?!” the fat cat shouts, you turning your attention from her back to the Destroyer. Who, despite his eyes being wide with shock, doesn't seem to have lost any power in that exchange whatsoever. If he uses his Hakai again, you doubt you could bring out a repeat performance. “How did he hit me?!”
“With his fist. Couldn't you tell?” she replies with fake concern, causing the cat to gnash his teeth. But she doesn't take her eyes off of you, keeping both your face and Divine Dragon Force in her line of sight. “I can show you what happened later, from a different perspective if you wish.”
“Grrrrr! That's not what I mean and you know it! How did he survive that?!” he explodes, sounding more like a petulant child than a Destroyer God. But with Cooler still not here yet, you know that you have to do something. But what?

“I had just told you his power is anti-divine, although I hadn't expected him to so thoroughly resist Hakai.” the woman says as you realize what you need to do. Focusing your mind through your wedding band, reaching out to your wife's mind.
“Meloka!” you think to her, trying to project your urgency. “Hurry, I need your help.”
“Karn? What's wrong hun?” she replies almost instantly, you sensing her worry. “What's going on?”
“There's another Destroyer here. Bring Lord Beerus here, hurry. I won't last much longer.” you tell her, feeling your wife's immediate panic through the mental link.

“As for you.” the angel says, drawing your attention back to the present, seeing the woman's stare directed your way. “I would advise you to let go now. Else I will have to remove this spirit myself.”
“Why should I?” you ask, the woman smirking.
“You need an atmosphere to breathe, correct? If you wish to breathe, you will release me.” she replies, you taking a chance and nod to Divine Dragon Force. Who reluctantly lets go, clearly not wanting to give up an advantage.
“Thank you. Now, hup!” she says, raising her staff up. The orb at the end glows, a cube of slightly shimmering energy expanding out from it. You watch as the area expands, engulfing the three of you. But, as it does, you sense another ki suddenly appear beside you. Turning, you see the angel also sense the new arrival, looking to the space before he appears. And then, beside you, Cooler appears.

“Good work, General Karn.” Cooler says, lowering his right hand from his forehead. “So, I take it the two of you are the ones responsible for my planets disappearing?”
“YOUR planets? Hah!” the fat cat says, sneering at Cooler. “And who do you think you are?”

Cooler smirks at this, enjoying the setup for this. He takes a very familiar stance, reminding you of his brother as he begins powering up. He transforms up from his fourth form into his larger fifth form, the four horns growing out of his head, blades on his forearms as his mask then closes over his face. Then, his aura begins to change. Its hues shift from the more bluish hues into gold, ascending into his Golden form. His power is so great that the barrier Vados has put up trembles, rattling from the force of his power.

“I am Lord Cooler. Emperor of Universe 7.” Cooler says to them both, no doubt smirking under his mask. “And these planets are mine.”

“And I am Champa. God of Destruction.” the fat cat says, smirking. “Now, kneel.”
“To you? Never.” Cooler replies, Champa's expression immediately turning dark as he raises his hand, preparing to use his Hakai once more. However, as he does, you sense another pair of ki behind you. Both of which are divine.
“If you refuse to kneel, then you will-!” he starts, only to be interrupted by another voice behind you.

“You'll what? You don't have permission to destroy anything in MY universe, brother.” Beerus says, you all turning to see the Destroyer, flanked by both Meloka and Whis.
“What?!” you and Cooler exclaim, both shocked as the Destroyer drifts past you all, flying up to his brother apparently. You then turn to Meloka, who lowers her right hand from her head and immediately flies to you. But as she flies over, you can't make sense of what you're sensing. Her power is no longer mortal, but wholly divine. Yet she's still looking as if she's in her base form, confusing you. Her energy is clearly her divine power, but she doesn't seem to be transformed. “Mel, what's this?”
“Oh, right.” she says, the pale aura blazing around her fading away. You feel her energy turn back from divine to mortal ki, another thought then entering your mind.

“Hold on. How did you sense me?” you ask her, brows furrowed. “I thought you couldn't sense my energy in your god forms?”
“I can't normally. But as I was reaching to you through our rings, I could sense you.” she says, holding up her left hand with a smile. “But doing that, somehow, now I can sense you.”
“What is the meaning of this?” Beerus asks his brother. “So, why are you doing? Stealing the Super Dragon Balls again?”

“What? Steal? No, no, I wasn't STEALING anything.” Champa says, clearly lying. “I was, just, uhhh....”
“Trespassing into my universe, stealing my Super Dragon Balls?” Beerus replies, his aura actually starting to flare up a bit around him as he's getting angry. “And then you actually try and destroy a warrior I enjoyed fighting?”
“Wait, you FOUGHT with that mortal? And he lived?” Champa asks, looking from his brother to you. Clearly shocked. “You let a being with the power of anti-divine live? What is the matter with you?!”

“Unlike you, brother, I do enjoy getting into a fight every now and again.” Beerus replies smugly. “Perhaps a fight might do you some good? You look like a flight of starts could beat you.”
“What did you say?!” Champa snarls, both brothers getting into each others' faces. Sparks fly as the two Destroyers nearly come to blows, you going to grab your wife and pull her back. But instead she gets between you and the Destroyers, that pale aura rising up around her as her energy turns fully divine once again. “You want to go?”

“You sure talk a lot of smack for someone so in the wrong!” Beerus replies, the Destroyers snarling angrily, fists trembling yet neither of them go on the attack. You chance a glance back to Whis, who seems as completely unphased by everything going on as ever. But then, suddenly Beerus backs off, turning with a smug look on his face. “At least I'd never let mortals stop me.”
“You WHAT?!” he exclaims, Champa getting even angrier. “You think these weaklings managed to stop me? Mortals from my universe are hundreds of times stronger than these pathetic no-names!”
“Oh really? I think I'd like to see that.” Beerus says, suddenly sounding interested for the first time since arriving. “How about it? Your universe's strongest versus mine, if you win you can have the Super Dragon Ball.”

“Oh, you're so ON!” Champa exclaims, only for Beerus to interrupt by raising a finger.
“However. If I win, if my mortals beat yours, I get all the Super Dragon Balls you've collected so far.” Beerus replies, Champa's eyes going wide. “Because I know you're a dirty rat and stole at least two others from my universe while I was napping.”
“Tch, fine. Let's do-” Champa says, only to be interrupted by his stomach audibly growling. “On second thought, let's finish planning this over lunch. What do you say?”
“Fine by me.” Beerus answers, then surprisingly turns to you. “Your world happens to be closer than ours. How about you host this gathering?”

“Of course, that shouldn't be a problem.” you say, turning to Whis. “Mind taking us all there?”

“Head's up, we've got two Destroyers incoming.” you think to your ship's cook. “Beerus is bringing his brother Champa, another Destroyer along with him.”
“Really? I see.” he replies, you almost hearing his sigh through the mental link. “Understood.”
“We're coming along with them, it will take us-” you tell him, then ask Whis aloud. “How long will it take us to get to New Salda from here?”

“It should take about fifteen minutes.” he answers, you thanking him then thinking back to Silver. “Fifteen minutes, tops.”
“I'll be ready.” he answers, ending the mental link. You sigh out, only for Beerus to look back over his shoulder at you.
“So, Saiyan. Your wife told me that you were fighting my brother.” Beerus says, his expression unreadable. “What did you think?”
“Think of? What do you mean?” you ask him, not sure what he's talking about.

“You have now fought both me and my brother. Who is stronger?” he asks you directly. Looking at you with surprising intensity. “Which of us do you believe is the strongest?”
“He didn't try to fight me, Champa just went straight for the Hakai.” you say, shocking him.
“He WHAAAAAT?!” Beerus shouts, jaw dropping. “How in the hell did you SURVIVE?”
“I used everything I have, firing my ki out of me in an Explosive Wave.” you tell him. “He nearly had me, too. In just a few seconds of fighting his Hakai off, it consumed more than half of my total energy to resist that.”
“Yet you resisted it. Impressive.” Beerus says, you seeing something in his eye as he looks at you. “Perhaps I've been underestimating you still. Well done.”
“Thank you.” you say, nodding to him as Beerus turns, looking forward to Whis' back. And with one hand on Beerus' back, you look down at your wife. Who is smiling up at you, her smile warming your heart.

“I'm glad you're okay.” she whispers, reaching up with her left hand and cupping the right side of your face. You take a deep breath, sighing out and holding her close with your free hand. Neither of you talk, words not needed as you both hold each other. Simply enjoying this time together, the minutes passing peacefully. Then, all too soon the light around you all fades, revealing that you're back on New Salda. Whis having landed on your island, right outside your home. A moment later Vados and Champa land behind you all, you turning to see the Destroyer's brother.

“Good, everyone made it. Follow me, and I'll lead you to the mess hall.” you say, addressing both Gods of Destruction. You then turn, leading them up the ramp into your home. The deities follow behind, their angels behind them as you walk down the halls. Before you even get close to Silver you can smell the fruits of his labor, hearing the moment both Destoyers smell it too.

“Ooooh, what is that smell?” Champa asks, sounding genuinely surprised.
“My my, smells like Silver was ready for us.” Beerus says, you hearing the eagerness in his voice. You continue leading the gods into your ship's mess hall, the moment the door opens your nose is assailed by a plethora of wonderful, delectable smells that cause you to almost start drooling just at the smell. “Ohhh, I think we're in for a treat today, Whis.”
“Yes, it would appear so.” Whis says, trying to still sound aloof. But you can clearly hear the excitement in his voice as you lead them into the room. Moving over to the table nearest the kitchen door, using your telekinesis to pull several chairs out from the table.

“Make yourselves comfortable, I'll see how soon the meal will be ready.” you tell them all, heading over to the kitchen door. However, just before you can reach the door it swings open, three of Silver's apprentices each carrying several platters each. In their hands, balanced on their arms and walking carefully, the three all make their way to the table as you get out of their way.
“Coming through!” the redheaded younger man tells you, walking up and then using his telekinesis to start levitating his trays, setting them all down between the two Gods of Destruction. “Help yourselves, get it while its hot!”
“What is all this?” Champa asks, the Destroyer actually drooling as he looks at all the platters of food. You haven't even seen some of these dishes before, seems Silver has really gone above and beyond. “These smells, this is...?”

“Come on, help yourself.” Silver's pale assistant with the red eyes says, the woman smiling at both Destroyers. She then turns her gaze to you, raising a brow slightly. “What about you, General? Will you be joining them?”

Well? What do you do?

A few days after Toriyama's passing (R.I.P.), an anon decided to storytime the entire Dragon Ball manga 1 volume a day at noon. It just finished Volume 16 at the tail end of the Saiyan Saga. Lots of spic shitposting now but reading along is worth it, and makes you appreciate the art he put out on a weekly chapter basis.

Damn, sounds like a good nostalgia trip, the thread still up?

“Very well.” you reply, sighing out and returning to your base form and turning to Meloka. “Let's eat.”
“Hey hey hey, who said you can SIT with us?” Champa asks, sounding a bit indignant at even the suggestion. To which you can only smile, pointedly sitting beside Beerus, leaving a seat open between you both for Meloka.
“Don't worry, I wasn't going to sit near you.” you reply, then add in. “I wouldn't want your spit on my food.”

“Haaaaaaaah?!” he exclaims, sounding angry only for Beerus to burst out laughing. Immediately turning his brother's focus from you back to him, gritting his teeth. But then he starts grabbing things off Beerus' plate, both brothers rising up to their feet. Meloka sits down beside you, reaching out and grabbing a plate and beginning to eat as well.
“Lord Champa, are you sure this is wise?” Vados asks, looking at him from over his shoulder. “The longer you two fight, the more food the Saiyans will eat.”
“Huh?” he replies, turning and looking over to see you and Meloka digging in. You look back, seeing the sudden panic on the fat cat's face as he immediately sits back down, getting back to eating. Seeing his brother do so Beerus does the same, you all finishing the rest of the meal in near-silence. As Champa finishes his last bite, he leans back in his seat, sighing out contentedly. “I have to hand it to you, brother. You've found a mortal with quite a good sense for preparing a feast.”

“Yes, Silver's quite the talented hand at preparing food.” Beerus replies, snapping his fingers. “Hey, Silver. You back there?”
“Of course, Lord Beerus. A moment.” he calls from the kitchen, a moment later you hear his crutch on the floor as he starts heading out. It takes a couple moments, Silver then limping out and hobbling over to the table. “Afternoon. So, is this your brother you've told me about?”
“Yes, this is my brother, Champa.” Beerus says, Silver standing at the head of the table between you both.

“So, you're the artisan responsible for this spread?” he asks, Silver nodding. “I see. Well then, brother. How about we, let's say, sweeten the pot for this tournament?”
“Oh?” Beerus asks, raising a brow at him. Champa's grin widens, gesturing towards Silver with his thumb.
“If I win, I want to take him as well. My fighters beat yours, winner gets the Super Dragon Balls.” he says, looking eager as his grin widens, pointing at Silver with his thumb. “And they get this mortal too.”

“What?” you say, shocked. But Beerus doesn't even flinch, smirking as he answers.
“Done. Winner gets the Super Dragon Balls, and Silver in their employ.” Beerus replies, turning to Silver. “You don't mind this little wager, do you?”
“Of course not, my lord. But, what wager?” he asks. “Is this a competition between you two, or...?”

“No no, two Destroyers cannot come to blows in the mortal realm.” Beerus replies, waving the concern off idly. “No, this competition will be more fun. To see which of our universes have the better fighters.”
“Oh, is that all? Well then, guess I've got nothing to worry about.” Silver replies, turning his gaze to you and your wife. “I take it you both will be participating?”
“Of course.” you answer, then have an idea. “Should ask Future Chaya and Ace when they get back if they want to participate too.”

“I... Don't think that will be allowed.” Whis speaks up, you all turning to him. “Only fighters originally from each universe, in this time should be allowed. Else either side could recruit powerful mortals from other universes and timelines, rendering the entire point of this conflict meaningless.”
“I would have to agree.” Vados interjects. “My little brother does make a good point.”
“Hold on. Beerus and Champa are brothers, and you and Whis are siblings as well? Is every Destroyer and each angel related?” Meloka speaks up, Whis laughing.
“No no, only us angels are related.” Whis says with a smile. “While Beerus and Champa are both related, they are the only two Destroyers so close.”

“Oh, I see.” Meloka answers, nodding in understanding. “So, how many of us can compete? And is this going to be a free-for-all, or a more structured event?”
“I am rather curious, how many fighters do you think you can gather?” Beerus asks his brother teasingly, enjoying looking smugly at him. “Do you even have two mortals capable of fighting in your universe?”
“Grrrr, I'll show you! We'll make it five, no! TEN! Ten fighters each!” he shouts, pushing himself up from the table. “Bring your best fighters, and mine will wipe the floor with yours.”
“A free for all could be fun, but maybe one-on-one fights would be better.” you say, raising a hand to your chin. “But waiting through as many as nineteen fights to find out who the winner is could take a while.”
“Hrmm, you do make a good point. After maybe eight fights or so, I think I'd be bored watching.” Champa says, bringing a hand to his chin as well as he ponders it. “How about a 5v5, single elimination?”

“That could be fun.” Beerus says, clearly getting a bit more excited about the prospect. “What about winning conditions? To the death? Ring out? KO?”
“Why not all of them? Except for death at least.” Champa asks. “Beat your opponent however you can?”
“But murder is so easy. Doesn't it take more skill to not kill your opponent?” Cooler, who you'd almost completely forgotten was here speaks up. You all turn to him, seeing that he's still in his Golden form. “After all, even a mindless beast can kill. But it takes real talent to defeat an opponent without killing them.”

“Hrmm.” Beerus says, hand to his chin. Both he and Champa appear to ponder Cooler's words.

But do you agree?
>Yes, having everyone live through this tournament would be the preferred outcome, even if it makes it harder by having to hold back

“I think that would be a good idea.” you say, both Destroyers turning to you. “Having everyone at least live through this tournament would be the preferred outcome, even if it makes it harder on me. It is a bit difficult to hold back against weaker opponents.”
“More difficult on you? Well, if that's the case then I accept that condition.” he says with a smug grin. Beerus looks both you and Cooler over, eyes narrowed but doesn't contest the decision. “I'll get the arena set up, and have Vados give you the location. I'll have everything ready one week from today.”
“One week? Very well. I accept the terms.” Beerus says, both Destroyers standing and facing each other. “But when you lose, those Super Dragon Balls will be mine.”

“Heh, fat chance! Just try not to cry when I beat you, brother!” Champa says, looking quite smug before turning to his assistant. “Let's get out of here, Vados. We have a tournament to prepare.”
“Very well.” she says with a nod, looking to her brother. “Until next time, brother.”
“Yes, until then.” Whis replies, both angels being quite polite to each other. Champa then heads towards the door, stopping and looking to you. “I'm expecting to see you there. I cannot wait for my fighters to crush you.”
“Bring out your very best, I'll take them all down.” you reply, Champa scoffing and walking to the door. Where, just as he almost makes it there the door opens, Broly and Kori standing outside it. They both freeze, no doubt recognizing his attire as well as Vados' resemblance to her brother.

“Excuse us.” Broly says politely, grabbing Kori and stepping back out of the way. Champa lets out a small 'hmph', not acknowledging them as he makes his way out the door. Your son's eyes then go back into the mess hall, and upon seeing you and Meloka, as well as Beerus and Whis lets out a tired-seeming sigh, muttering, “Dammit.”
“It is quite alright. I am sure it can be remade.” she says, reaching up and putting a hand on his cheek. And suddenly, you realize why Silver had so much food ready in such a short time. Why there were so many dishes, but not the usual quantities of things you were used to.
“Broly? Kori?” Meloka asks, getting up from the table and walking over. “What's going on?”

“We were just coming to perform a taste test, to see how the food for our wedding dinner would turn out.” she tells your wife, you glancing over to Beerus. Who is idly picking food from between his teeth with a claw, paying it no mind. Of course he wouldn't care. “I take it that everything was satisfactory?”
“Oh no, I had no idea. I'm sorry.” Meloka answers, looking between them

“Don'cha worry, I got ye covered.” Silver says to them, turning back to the kitchen staff and shouting something you can't quite understand. As if it was half spoken in common, half in another language entirely. “Knew t'save some for ye, even with our unexpected company.”
“Thank you. I had no idea.” you say, turning to Silver. Who only gives a wink, turning back to the kitchen and hobbling in. A few moments later the pale, red-eyed woman emerges again with a wide platter, cuts from everything he'd prepared all set on it. You turn back to Beerus, who turns his gaze back to you.

“Five fighters. I assume you and Meloka will both be participating?” he asks, you nodding. “Good. That just leaves three more spots to fill.”
“As much...Fun as this would be, I do have other matters I am needed to attend to.” Cooler says, Beerus raising a brow at this. “However, I'm sure my younger brother would be overjoyed to participate in this little tournament.”
“Tournament? What's going on, Dad?” Broly asks you. “What tournament?”

“Where to begin?” you mutter, quickly filling him on what all happened since you left with Maza to go to Yardrat, to have Elder Pybara teach him. As you talk about the Hakai, you can feel the intensity of Beerus' attention, no doubt wondering how you'd survived. But once he's caught up, your son frowns. “Everything okay?”
“Yeah, just. Good luck, okay?” he says, catching you off guard. “We're going to be busy with preparations then, don't know if I'll be able to join in.”
“Don't worry about it son, we're spoiled for choice.” you tell him, resting a hand on his shoulder. “It's only a five-on-five, not an all-hands conflict. It's alright to sit it out.”
“But who else do we ask?” Meloka asks, turning back to you. “Who else should we get to join in?”

Well? Who do YOU want to ask to join your team? Remember, only those native to this timeline can participate.

“Freeza is most definitely in.” you say, then add in. “Captain Ginyu, too.”
“Ginyu? Oh, aren't you a clever one?” Cooler says, you turning to see him giving a nod of approval before raising his right hand to his forehead. “I shall inform the Captain, he's on my. Shall we gather everyone here in seven days?”
“Yes, gather everyone here. And from this planet, we'll head to wherever my brother decides to host this little game.” Beerus says, yawning idly before turning to Whis. “When we get back, mind getting that old thing back out? Been a few centuries since it was last used.”
“Do not worry yourself, my lord. I shall have it prepared immediately upon our arrival.” Whis answers, then turns to Meloka. “And what of you? Will you return to continue your training? Or will you stay here?”

“As much as I want to stay here, I don't have that one technique down yet.” she answers the angel, then telepathically to you adds with a wink, “Can't let you stay stronger than me forever, hun.”
“Heh, sounds good to me.” you reply aloud, then turn your mind back to figuring out who else to ask. “Should we ask any of our kids along?”
“The only ones I'd ask are Chaya and Chilli.” she says, then turns to Broly. “Since you're busy.”
“Not a problem. I was thinking Chilli'd be the one to ask as well.” he answers with a smile. “He was always the most clever, but with his magic he might be the most dangerous too. Hey, Lord Beerus, Whis. Would sending someone to another dimension or timeline count as killing? Or would that qualify as a ring out?”

“Temporal displacement? Hrmm, if I was to guess I'd say it would count as a ring out.” Whis answers, then raises a finger. “However, in a martial arts tournament magic may be frowned upon.”
“No way. My brother's definitely going to find some way to cheat. So I say grab every ability and special power you all have.” Beerus says, his tone surprisingly angry-seeming. “My good-for-nothing brother will stop at nothing to try and one-up me, even if it means lying and cheating. I want this tournament to be as close to a flawless victory as possible.”
“That's three. But just in case, we should have some backups prepared.” you say, then add. “King Vegeta would step in, if we needed him to.”
“Ubo as well would be a powerful competitor, would he not?” Koriand'r asks, you turning to her. “The Kryptonian is the strongest being who lives here, in terms of physical power, is he not?”

“While that's true, we can't rely on his might here.” Broly says, frowning. “Ubo's tough, but without knowing the arena, taking him is a gamble. What if the planet we're fighting on has a red star?”
“Good point. I'll ask him if he wishes to come along, as a backup fighter if nothing else.” you say, looking around the room a moment before turning back to Beerus. “Don't worry, Lord Beerus. No matter who your brother manages to find, we'll take them down.”

“I expect nothing less. Very well, I'll leave this up to you, Saiyan Karn.” Beerus says, yawning again. “But as for me, I'm going to take a quick cat-nap. Whis?”
“Of course, let's go.” the angel says, following Beerus as he heads to the door while looking at your wife. “You can make it back on your own this time?”
“I'll be right behind you.” she answers, Whis nodding and giving a small smile of approval before speaking.
“Very well, I shall see you all in one week.” the angel says, he and Beerus leaving the mess hall. Meloka then turns to you, flying up and over, wrapping her arms around your neck and hanging off you before asking.

“So, how shall we tell everyone?” she asks. “Should we call them all here, and explain what's going on once? Visit with them all? Or just let them know what's happening?”

Which is a good question. Cooler has already departed to tell Captain Ginyu, which leaves informing everyone else as your responsibility.

Well? How do you do this?

“Mmmmm. Lord Beerus has destroyed worlds for a single dish not being up to his standards.” Silver tells you all. “You couldn't have asked for a more particular food judge.”

“Having his approval means that your work is as excellent as ever.” Kori says with a bright smile. As she and Broly, as well as Silver keep talking about the specific dishes, you raise your right hand to your forehead. Focusing on Freeza's ki, you teleport to him with your Instant Transmission. One moment you are in the mess hall, the next find yourself back outside, in the forest where the two of you train.
“General Karn. Oh, and Meloka.” he says, turning to you both with a surprised look. “I didn't sense you... Hold on. I still can't. Are you really Meloka?”
“Yes, I'm still me.” she replies, your wife again powering down out of her divine state. You see Freeza's eyes widen at this, the qu estion you'd had before coming back to mind.

“I was meaning to ask earlier, how DO you do that?” you ask her, looking over your shoulder at her.
“I learned how to tap into the divine power of Super Saiyan God without transforming.” she tells you, smiling proudly. “Remember how we tried the same thing with Super Saiyan, back in the day? Whis calls it a 'Saiyan Beyond God', as it is a further evolution of that power.”
“Really, it works the same way?” you ask, genuinely surprised. If she can so easily tap into the power of the gods so easily now, perhaps she's even managed to go further beyond... “Very nice.”
“Quite impressive. But I take it you both are here in regards to Lord Beerus' departure?” he asks, surprising you. “Hard to miss that exit they do.”

“Yeah, about that.” you say, quickly filling him in on everything that happened from the time you'd left Planet Yardrat to returning home, Beerus and Champa's tournament as well as the rules. “So, what do you say? Are you in?”
“Am I in? Do you even need to ask?” he replies with a smirk. And, much as Meloka does with her new power, suddenly Freeza's golden power explodes up around him as well, still remaining in his fourth form. “I wager we'll face some rather stiff opposition, this could be an ideal chance to show off the fruits of my training. I'm in.”

“Great. We have one week until this tournament starts, everyone will gather here on New Salda before traveling to wherever the tournament will be held.” you tell him, Freeza nodding and powering back down.
“Five on five? I sensed Cooler here earlier, I'm assuming he's left to train?” Freeza asks, your wife answering.
“No, but he's going to get Captain Ginyu.” she replies, Freeza nodding along. “He's on the team.”

“Which leaves a single slot left, if my brother isn't participating. I take it you have a candidate for the final slot?” he asks.
“Three, in fact.” you reply, raising your right hand to your forehead. “Going to go tell them now.”
“Very good. I assume that our morning training regimen for the next week shall be a bit more intense?” he asks, grinning eagerly. “This shall be most entertaining.”
“Looking forward to it.” you reply, raising your hand back to your forehead as you focus on King Vegeta's ki next. Teleporting to him, the king sequestered away within his palace's own Gravity Chamber. The moment you enter you feel that weight crash upon you, as well as your wife's amplified weight nearly causing your knees to buckle. But you brace yourself against the intense pressure, raising your eyes to see your king hard at work. He's hanging suspended from his ankles doing what look like sit ups, bringing his head all the way up to his knees over and over.

“One hundred!” he exclaims, releasing his feet as he falls back, flipping and landing on all fours. He remains there a moment, panting in exhaustion before pushing himself upright. Only to see you standing there and startle, taking a surprised step back. “Wha-Karn?”
“Nicely done. You got a minute?” you ask, the king nodding and going over to the controls, easing it back down to normal gravity.
“What's going on?” he asks, still at the panel and not facing either of you. “What does Beerus want this time?”

Again you quickly summarize the events of the past, Meloka interjecting with a few notes of her own as you tell him everything. Ending with the tournament, and how it will be a five-on-five.

“And I take it you want me to be the fifth member?” he asks, shaking his head. “Sorry, but I'm going to decline.”
“What? Why?” you ask, confused. “Don't you want to fight?”
“Of course. But as the king, I cannot lose.” he replies. “Besides, I know the two of you will represent our people admirably. The King cannot involve himself in every petty squabble.”
“Heh, I understand. But you'll definitely come and see how it goes, won't you?” you reply, grinning to him. He returns the smile, not answering verbally. But you know he's absolutely not going to miss seeing this. He nods, you rising to your full height and give him a Saiyan salute. Which he returns, you then raising your right hand to your forehead.

Leaving King Vegeta's palace behind, you teleport this time to your eldest-born son. Leaving your homeworld behind, you find yourself standing on an open plain, atop a crystal platform. Hundreds of the furry ball creatures, the ones Chilli's apprentice can summon are all floating about the air, you looking around confused.

“Dad? Mom?” Chilli asks, you both turning to him. “Time out Alimar, something's up.”
“Of course, Master.” the younger man says, you turning and seeing him with his familiar horned creatures flanking him, as well as three of the winged ones flying about him. “Take your time.”
“So, what's going on?” your son asks, you turning back to him. “What happened?”
“Well...” you start, again explaining everything. You've gotten rather good at explaining the story, doing it in record time as your son nods along. And as soon as you get to the fact the tournament will be a five-on-five, he interrupts.

“You....Really picked me to be one of the five?” he asks, sounding genuinely surprised. “Really?”
“Of course. We have no idea what Champa's universe's fighters can do.” you tell him. “And with all your powers, you could be the deciding factor between victory and defeat.”
“Not to mention Lord Beerus thinks that his brother will try and cheat somehow.” Meloka adds in. “Plus, as long as they don't die, you can use any of your powers on them.”
“I see. And you said it's in one week from today?” your son asks, you nodding. He looks over to his apprentice, then over towards the village a moment before closing his eyes. No doubt reaching out to at least one person telepathically. “I should be able to come, as of now there's nothing scheduled going on. But that doesn't mean there won't be any problems day-of. Do you have a backup fighter, should the worst happen?”

“Of course, we have several. But that doesn't mean you get to skip out.” Meloka answers, causing Chilli to chuckle.
“I'm looking forward to it, but that doesn't mean life won't try and get in the way.” he answers. “Just this past week, two separate undead armies, flying two different flags have tried attacking the village. The job never ends.”
“No it doesn't.” you reply, lost in your own memories a moment. Brought out of them by his next question.

“Do you think we can bring guests?” your son asks you. “I'd like to have my family there, as well as a few others. Do you think that'd be okay?”

Well? What do you think?
>Tell him it should be fine, bring whoever he wants

“Whis or Beerus didn't say anything, so I guess it should be fine to bring along whoever you want.” you tell him. “After all, we'll be seeing which of your siblings want to come, King Vegeta and his family, and since Freeza's participating no doubt King Cold will be coming as well. Going to be quite the show, after all.”
“Speaking of show, I'm surprised you didn't ask Chaya.” he says. “Is there a reason?”
“Your sister, well. She...” you start, unable to find the words. But that's when Meloka speaks up.
“Your sister was on the list, just. Lower down.” your wife says. “With the team we've put together, we're trying to cover as much as possible. I have divine power, your father has anti-divine. Lord Freeza has the greatest raw power, Captain Ginyu is extremely tough to take down, and you have your magical powers.”

“Oh, I see.” your son replies, a hand going to his chin a moment as he thinks. “What about weapons? I'd assume they can't be used, but did they say anything about them?”
“No, no one said no weapons.” you realize, wondering if that was on purpose or an oversight. “Best to bring them, just in case. Worse-case scenario we bring them along only to not be able to use them at the tournament.”
“Good point. I'll have everything I need ready in a week.” your son says, nodding to you both. “But if I've only got one week, I need to get to training.”

“Of course. You need anything, you let us know.” your wife says, flying over and hugging her son to her. The fact they're both the sameish height does make you smile, Meloka backing up and giving you space. You reach down, offering your right which he takes, the two of you clasping forearms.
“For Silver.” your son says, you nodding with him. You both shake once then disengage, Meloka flying back up onto your back as you raise your right back to your forehead, teleporting you both back home. Specifically to Raven's Island, where she and the Kryptonian Ubo are standing. But they aren't alone, as you quickly realize. Finding yourself, Raven and Ubo are all surrounded by more than a dozen demonic beings.

Well, shit.

And that's it for tonight, everyone ready to finish gathering your team for the tournament? Ready to see who Champa's brought, and what powers his fighters may have? Do you plan on going first, or perhaps last for your team? And, finally, what sorts of training do you plan on trying to do for the week leading into this tournament? All this and maybe more, tomorrow at noon EST when this episode continues! 11 hours until we resume, I hope you're ready.
>>
>>5959378
Champa ain't even got fighters. He's got a half dozen weirdos who only know how to throw punches because someone took their tendies in middleschool. Get bent, fat cat.
>>
>>5959402
He has at least one man who can throw punches well above his relative weight class.
>>
>>5959406
That is true, hit is genuinely a pretty good fighter, he is really the primary issue here but I really am not sure what he can even do to ginyu here consider the buu body doesn't have weak points.
>>
>>5959415
He’s got more experience than your entire team combined, except maybe for Captain Ginyu. After all, you have no idea how old the body changer actually is.
>>
>>5959415
Too bad for Hit, this is no-kill. His best moves are off the table.
>>
>>5959378
> Ready to see who Champa's brought, and what powers his fighters may have?
I'm guessing that one or two of them are actually scary competent and the rest are jobbers
> Do you plan on going first, or perhaps last for your team?
I think we should save our strength for now. My opinion might change when I see the roster though
>>
>>5959436
His instant kill moves are out. But he may have some other techniques he didn't use in canon he may resort to here.
>>5959606
Well, you know the most dangerous he'll bring.
Depends on how many fights you want to personally get. If you want to try and 1v5 their whole team, or let someone else fight first.
>>
>>5959658
I feel like Karn handling as many as he can first is the ideal scenario, that way the rest of our team is fresh and has a chance to observe whoever managed to knock us out.
>>
>>5959658
> Depends on how many fights you want to personally get. If you want to try and 1v5 their whole team, or let someone else fight first.
Hmm... Having everyone on the roster interact with the competitors is cool and fun...But the challenge and bragging rights of solo'ing everyone on the opposite team...I want to know what other anons think first
>>
>>5959674
This is a good strategy, however it ignores the fact that the dice gods power Karn up depending on how many of his allies are out for the count, and how high above his weight class he is punching.
>>
>>5959683
That is true. Even ignoring the nudity bonus, Karn is at his strongest when he is the last resort. But we shouldn't count our allies out. If push comes to shove, I believe that Meloka and Freeza are more than capable enough of cleaning house if we lose steam early.
>>
>>5959690
Don't forget the rest of our team. Between Ginyu and Chilli, there's not much they couldn't handle provided they're able to adjust accordingly.

“Well, looks like we're gonna have to-” you start, only for Raven to beat you to the punch.
“Azarath Metrion ZYNTHOS!” she shouts, unleashing her dark magics. Shadowy tendrils leap from her hands, grabbing and binding every single one of them in place instantly. She then lifts them all into the air, Ubo's power spiking. You then watch as he unleashes a wave of power from his eyes, incinerating all twelve demons near-instantly. Not even ash is left behind, Ubo's rays disintegrating them and reducing the otherworldly invaders to nothing.
“...Help them. Well done you two.” you say, both of your allies turning towards you both. “What was that all about?”

“Oh, you know. The usual. 'When we kill you and offer your blood, we'll be able to resurrect the “great” Trigon'. Stupid asses.” Raven says, sounding more annoyed than anything. “So, what was Lord Beerus here for? And who was that other deity with him? Another destroyer?”
“That's what we're here to talk about.” you say, for the final time you and Meloka explaining the story. “And that's what I wanted to ask you about, Ubo. If someone isn't able to participate, for any reason, would you mind being the backup?”
“Backup?” he asks, sounding a bit confused. “I thought it was a five on five?”
“It is. But if someone has something come up and they can't participate, say a training injury or something worse, we still need five.” you tell him. “And unless the planet Champa picks is neighboring a red sun, you'll be a powerful force on our side.”

“I'll do it. If I don't fight, will I still get to watch?” he asks, sharing a not-so-subtle glance to Raven.
“Of course, you'll both get to watch.” you reply, remembering how Raven can use her powers to see through others' eyes. “I wouldn't want either of you to miss it.”
“One week. Guess I'd better make a trip back to that blue star, just in case.” Ubo says, then looks over to Raven before turning back to you. “Well, that only takes a few hours. I'll save that trip to the day of. But what about you?”
“What about me?” you reply, not sure where he's going with this. “You only have a week. Are you planning on doing any special training to get ready for this match?”

Which is a good question. Well, what sort of training will you do?
>Raw power, you're going to push your physical strength higher than ever
>Focus on your Energy Body, strengthening your defenses will make you tougher to take down
>Work on your energy attacks, perhaps develop another new technique or two for the specific rules of the tournament
>Don't change your training just for this, keep training your children and students on your usual schedule
>Call Chaya to spar with you in the evenings, see if she has any tricks she's picked up over her time as Dreadzone Champion for fighting in a ring she can teach you

“I don't know if it's special or not. But I'm going to be dedicating a lot of time to the gravity chamber.” you tell her, looking down at your hand and clenching your fist. “I'm still not strong enough. Champa showed me that.”
“You? Not strong enough?” Ubo asks, giving you a grin. “Haha, of course you think that way. I wonder, just how strong you can end up?”
“How did I know?” your wife says with a chuckle. Causing you to turn to her.

“What about you, hun? What are you going to be working on?” you ask her, Meloka giving you a smug look.
“It's a secret. You'll see soon enough.” she replies, clearly wanting to save whatever she's doing for the upcoming tournament. “I want it to be a surprise.”
“Heh, fair enough. I'll see it soon enough.” you tell her, lifting up into the air while waving to Raven and Ubo then taking off back towards your home. “Want to train with me one time before going back?”
“I think I'd like that.” she answers, you flying back to your ship and landing down outside it. But, instead of going in you instead reach out telepathically, searching for Towa.

“Hey, Towa, where is the door?” you ask her, feeling a bit of surprise through the sudden link. “I've got a question for you.”
“Of course, the door to the lab is set up right next to your room.” she replies, you then heading inside. “I've got a certain someone here, cleaning up that room so don't mind them.”
“Where are we going?” Meloka asks you as you turn down towards your room, as the other way down the halls is faster to the gravity chamber.
“You'll see.” you tell her, walking over to your room. Where you both see the new door, one that wasn't there before.

“Huh? What's that?” Meloka asks, seeing the new doorway. “That wasn't there before.”
“You're right. You missed what happened earlier when Mechikabura showed up.” you say, walking over and causing the door to open. As it does, you see the formerly bloodsoaked room looking mostly cleaned. With Towa, in her Demon God form standing over a woman on her hands and knees, scrubbing the blood off the ground. “Hey Towa. Mind if I borrow the gravity chamber?” you ask her aloud, filling in a few more details telepathically. With a few thoughts you tell her what happened with Champa and the upcoming tournament. As you do, however, the woman is pointedly not looking towards you, her focus on the ground and not looking your way.
“Of course. Feel free to help yourself.” she replies aloud. “Just remember, the time dilation is no longer in affect. One hour here is still one hour there.”

“That's not a problem, I just need a stronger gravity than my ship's got.” you tell her, Towa raising a brow at you. You can tell she has more questions but lets it go, you and Meloka making your way inside. Having spent so much time in Towa's Lab over the years you know the way, making the minute walking journey to the strongest chamber.
“This one?” Meloka asks, a hint of surprise in her tone. “Really?”
“Of course. Fighting Champa's Hakai made me realize how weak I still am. Another few seconds, and he'd have erased me.” you say, walking into Towa's strongest gravity chamber. Your wife slides down off your back as you go over to the control panel getting it ready. Then, before hitting the button you clench your fists, ascending up into your Berserker God form. “You ready?”
“We're going that hard? Alright.” she replies, once more transforming into a divine state. But unlike before, this time she fully transforms into Super Saiyan God. “Let's do this.”

And you hit the button, activating the chamber your alternate timeline daughter used to train while in her Primal form. Pressure, gravity unilke anything you've ever felt before crashes down onto you, knocking both you and Meloka to the ground. Landing on all fours, you struggle to push yourself upright for over a minute. With intense effort you finally manage to rise, Meloka beating you upright by a whole second.

“This. Is. Crazy.” she pants, your wife struggling to raise her arms. “Just how high DID you set this thing to?”
“Dunno. I couldn't read it.” you reply, your wife's jaw dropping as she turns to you. “This is the setting of whoever used it last. Now, let's get started.”

For the next hour or so, you and your wife struggle through the most intense workout of your life. Every action is agonizing, your body feeling as if it is going to tear apart with each movement. But you press on, pushing yourself to finish your usual workout in this ultra-intense pressure. Finally, finishing the last exercise you allow yourself to collapse to the ground, struggling to breathe. Your wife however remains standing, forcing herself over to the panel and deactivating the controls before falling to the ground as well. You both lay there exhausted for several minutes, trying to recover from the intensity of your workout until Towa opens the door, walking in.

“Hmmm, I should have known.” she says, first going over to Meloka and helping her stand up before going over to you, the two of them getting under your shoulders to help your tired body rise. “You have no concept of moderation.”
“I need to get stronger.” you tell her tiredly, barely able to manage a smile.
“Then let me do it.” she tells you, causing you to raise a brow. “I trained Chaya, remember? If you want the best results, leave your training to me for this week.”

“Deal.” you reply without hesitation, the three of you making your way out of the chamber. Towa leads you both to the shower built right opposed to the chamber, the three of you undressing and getting in the showers. She washes the blood off herself, while you and your wife the sweat, all of you cleaning up from the day's activities. And once you all are clean she uses her magic to clean your clothes, or what's left of them in your case since your transformation shatters your armor. Perhaps you need to get a stronger suit made?
“Before you go, I have an idea.” Towa then says once you all are dressed, leaning in and whispering in your wife's ear. Meloka blushes but nods, the two women then pressing themselves to either side of you. “Come on, follow me.”

You don't protest, letting the two lead you back to Towa's bedroom. Where you three spend the next few hours, ending with all of you under the sheets. With you on your back, Towa and Meloka each resting their heads on your chest as you drift off to sleep. The last thing you see are their smiling faces as your eyes drift closed, sleep taking you. Some time passes, you aren't sure how long until you feel your consciousness returning. Slowly coming to you open your eyes, finding yourself in near-complete darkness. Towa's head is resting on your left shoulder, yet on your right Meloka isn't there. Expanding your ki sense you find her a few feet away, reaching out telepathicaly.

“Meloka?” you think, sensing her ki approaching. You feel her climb back onto Towa's bed, leaning down and kissing you first on the forehead, then on the lops more passionately.
“Gotta go hun. I have my own training to get back to.” she whispers, then climbs back off the bed. “I'll see you in a week. Don't push yourself too hard.”
“You too Mel.” you reply, faintly seeing her smile in the darkness before she vanishes completely. No doubt using her Instant Transmission to return to Beerus' world. Leaving you awake in the early morning hours, pondering over what to do next.

Well?

While you lay in bed, pondering over what the next week is going to entail, you expand your ki sense. With Towa's Realm now connected to your own, you can sense everyone in both locations. And one of them that you sense is Freeza, feeling his energy is up and about. So, you decide to invite him along in your training as well, telepathically calling to him.

“Hey, Lord Freeza. Got something that might interest you.” you think to him, sensing his immediate interest through the link. “Want to try the hardest training ever?”
“Ohh? You have my attention.” he replies, you telling him what happened yesterday, what Towa offered you. He's quiet for a few moments before finally speaking back up. “So, you are offering me the chance to join you in the same level of training that turned your other Chaya into the monster that she is? And you considered that is something I would decline? Did you really think that I would ever pass such an opportunity up? Let me know when you're starting, and I'll be there.”

You then tell him about how powerful the gravity chamber you'd worked out in yesterday was, how it was able to nearly flatten both you and Meloka in your strongest forms, sensing his eagerness rising even higher. After he agrees once again to join you you end the mental link, opening your eyes only to see Towa looking up at you.

“Oh, mornin'.” you say, surprised she's awake. “You're up early.”
“As are you.” she replies, yet makes no effort to get up. “Couldn't sleep?”
“No, Meloka just left a bit ago. And I talked with Freeza.” you tell her, the former demon princess raising an eyebrow at you. “Mind if he tags along?”
“Of course not. Although, while the training is designed for a Saiyan's anatomy, with his prodigal abilities I suspect he'll progress quite far as well.” she replies, then brings her left hand to her chin as she starts thinking aloud. “This could be a good opportunity to examine him as well, see which types of training better his body most efficiently. I was curious how that other Freeza achieved the Black form, perhaps knowing how Freeza's body works better would offer an insight?”

As she rambles on, going into words you don't understand with their relations to other parts, you simply lay back and relax. She goes on for another minute or so before suddenly stopping, cheeks going a bit red as she looks down away from you.

“Uhmm, how long was I rambling for?” she asks, her voice small and embarrassed. You don't reply, instead pull her a bit closer to you with your left.
“Just shows you're passionate about what you do.” you reply, avoiding her question. She looks up at you, cheeks still red before leaning in and kissing you briefly. She then climbs up and out of your arm, calling her clothes onto her with magic as you sit upright as well.
“Now then. It's time to begin.”

You head out of her lab, making your way back to your room and donning a training uniform before calling all of your kids on the ship to you. With everyone gathered you tell them all that you are going to be spending the next week training hard, that if they need you you'll be here, but that you're going to focus on pushing yourself harder than ever. You leave Broly and Caulifla in charge of your students, that they should rely on Lattu, Sabi, Rugu, Nion, Goar, and Totoma to help keep the others in line.

“But what about our training?” Karn Jr asks you, sounding a little disappointed. To which you reach down, ruffling his hair.
“Sorry, but for the next week I'm going to be really training hard. After this business with the Destroyers is over we'll go back to normal, but for the next few days I really need to put everything I've got into my own training.” you tell him, kneeling down and looking him in the eyes. “I promise, once this is over things will go back to normal, okay?”
“Okay! I can wait one week.” he replies, nodding once seriously. “Do your best Daddy!”

“You too. All of you. Just because I'm not going to be looking over your shoulders and watching you train myself doesn't mean that you get to slack off.” you say, rising back up to your feet. “I expect you all to keep pushing yourselves higher, understood?”
“Yes sir!” they shout, all surprisingly giving you a proper Saiyan salute. Which catches you off guard a moment before returning the gesture. As you do the younger four all leap at you, the others following suit moments later. You hold all your children to you, Freeza walking into the room a moment later.
“Well now, what a touching scene.” he says, you turning to look at him as he raises his hands in jest. “Now now, don't let me stop you all. Far be it from me to interrupt a family moment.”

“Are you and Father going to go train together?” Koruza asks him, your half-demon son looking between you both. To which the former emperor nods once.
“Precisely. With us battling warriors form another universe, there is no telling how strong they actually are. So, it would be best we greet them in peak physical and psychological conditions on first contact. Losing due to a lack of conditioning would be the most ignoble of defeats, after all.”
“Go kick their butts!” Maz shouts eagerly.
“Go get'em!” Kayle adds in, all your other children joining in a moment later. Their cheers warming your heart, you and Freeza take your leave, heading back into Towa's lab.

“So, now this door is just... Here. Connecting our realm and hers?” he asks, you explaining what Mechikabura and the new Supreme Kai of Time had done yesterday as you lead him through the halls towards Towa's energy signature. And once you finish he stops, bringing a hand to his chin. “Hrmmm.”

“Freeza?” you ask, wondering why he stopped so suddenly. Turning fully to him, you wonder what he's thinking. “What is it?”
“It would seem that Mechikabura wants to take you out of the equation.” Freeza mutters, brows furrowed as he crosses his arms. “Either he wants our timeline to longer be involved in the goings on of other realities, to keep us separated and away from them for our sake. Or, he wants to isolate our time to make erasing us easier.”

Well? How do you respond to that?
>Tell Freeza you think he wants to keep you happy, so you don't eventually come after him as well. He's seen what you've done to other deities, and playing nice and keeping you happy plays to his benefit
>You have the same worry, losing the protection of being tied to other timelines is a bit worrying. But perhaps they want to erase other timelines without affecting anyone you know and drawing your ire, so this was the best solution
>Tell him you still don't trust Mechikabura, not fully, but he's gone out of his way to get on your good side over and over, like when he helped your kids. He's earned his bit of goodwill and faith from you

“Honestly? I think he just wants to keep me happy.” you tell him, Freeza raising a brow as you talk. “He knows that as long as we're not messed with, I won't go out of my way to get involved or get in his way. He's seen what I did to other deities, like Chronoa and Dumplin. As long as he keeps playing nice, keeping me happy plays to his benefit. I stay out of his way, and he gets the whole rest of reality to run however he wants.”
“Hrmmm, that could be.” Freeza says, looking thoughtful as he ponders your words. “Were I in his position, placating a being with no further aspirations than his own timeline is the proper call. They stay in their realm, and I get everything else is quite the enticing offer. In fact, that is the same offer I gave Cooler. And we see how well that has played out so far.”

“There you are. I take it you both are ready?” Towa asks as you both step into the gravity chamber, having already taken on her Demon God form. “Then let us begin. Both of you, take on your most powerful forms.”
“HRRRAAAAAA!!” you roar, immediately ascending into your Berserker God form. “Let's do this.”
“SHYAAAAAAAAH!!” Freeza screams, taking on his true Golden form. “Haaaaah. Ready.”
“Very well. Now, let's see what you both are made of.” she says, reaching over and activating the chamber once more. Overwhelming, oppressive gravity slams down onto you, once again nearly knocking you down to all fours. Freeza, less ready for the pressure than you are is knocked flat to the ground, shouting in surprise. It takes him a few moments to get back upright, you both standing and trembling under the pressure. However, Towa seems perfectly fine, magical energy surrounding her. No doubt lessening the gravity on her, as she seems completely relaxed under this pressure. “Let us begin.”

The workout she puts you through is not too unlike your own, but with several other exercises you've never done before. Vertical push-ups, supporting yourself on your elbows and toes while keeping your back straight as she drops more and more weights on your backs, matching pace with her magic that continuously blows you and Freeza back, forcing you to run to avoid being slammed into the far wall, she hits you both with all sorts of exercises you'd never considered before. And after what feels like forever, she finally calls a break, you both collapsing to the ground under the weight of the extreme gravity, completely exhausted.

“Well done. Not bad, for your first attempt.” she tells you both, kneeling between you and your friend the former emperor. “Now, eat up. You'll need your strength for what comes next.”

Opening your eyes, you see that she's holding some sort of rectangular bar over your head, smiling down at you.

“Eat this. It will restore your strength.” she says, you not questioning it and biting into the bar. Surprisingly, it has no taste, no flavor whatsoever as the bar crumbles in your mouth. You barely have to chew, your saliva breaking the bar down so it barely takes any effort to eat. Which you do, consuming the entire bar. “Well done. Five minute break, then we'll be back at it again.”

Saying this Towa rises up, heading over to the door to the decompression chamber and walking out. Leaving you and Freeza alone.

“Dammit. I knew this would be diff. Icult. But I never thought. A gravity chamber. Strong enough. For my Golden. Form. Could exist.” Freeza manages to get out. You just grunt in response, trying your best to recover. When she says five minutes, you know that's all you will get, so focus instead of talking on getting ready for the next round. But as you and Freeza lay there, a familiar warmth begins spreading throughout your body. The aches in your muscles, the strain in your body begins fading away. And after four minutes you're strong enough to get back up to your feet, looking yourself over curiously. Freeza, seeing you up does the same, looking from himself to you and back with a confused look on his face. You both stand there in silence a moment, when you hear the door opening. Turning, you both see her walking back in, unsurprised that you both are on your feet. “Excuse me. What was in that you gave us? I know my body, and I should not have recovered that fast.”

“Observant. Those restoration bars are made with Senzu plant extract.” she says. “Not quite as potent as the beans themselves, but they do quite well for restoring the body. Now, let's go again!”

This process repeats over and over, four hours on, five minutes off, bar of that Senzu extract to restore your strength in between. You lose track of how many times this process repeats, not even sure if it is day or night as you press on. But eventually it stops, the process coming to an end as she deactivates the chamber.

“You both did well today. You have completed the first day.” she says, not giving either of you a bar this time as you both remain on the ground, powering back down to your previous forms. “So, either of you plan on giving up? Or will you stick through it until the end?”

You know she's more talking to Freeza than you, as she knows you don't have quit in you. But as you both look to Freeza, arms and legs trembling, he manages to push himself upright and look her in the eyes. Despite still towering over the diminutive former emperor.

“Quit? Oh no, you must have me confused with someone else. Perhaps a Freeza from another time.” he tells her, eyes blazing with determination. “As long as Karn keeps going so will I. I cannot quit before he does, no matter what. To do any less, and I would be insufficient to call myself his emperor when I retake the throne my brother took from me.”
“That's a good answer.” she says, giving him a deep nod, almost a bow. “I look forward to seeing your progress. Perhaps, we'll even make steps towards...”

Her voice trails off, no doubt thinking of a level beyond his current power she's seen from another Freeza, then shakes her head.

“But that's enough about that, go shower off the both of you. And get some rest. Tomorrow is where the real work starts.” she says, and true to her word the next day is even tougher. Day after day you push yourself to your limits and beyond, feeling your body growing stronger every time your strength is restored by one of those flavorless bars. And, at the end of the final day of training, she gives you both a bar as she deactivates the gravity chamber. You and Freeza devour the energy-boosting food quickly, letting in restore your strengths as you then stand back up. “Well done. You both have exceeded my expectations. Now, if you would both power down, let's see just how strong you have become.”
“Go ahead Karn, you first.” Freeza says, you both powering back down. He returns to his fourth form while you go to base, Towa drawing some sort of tablet like device from the gravity chamber's control panel. Pointing it at you like a scouter, she activates it and it begins beeping, you seeing symbols in the demonic script you don't understand through the screen.

“Well now, this is quite a surprise. Thirty four thousand, three hundred forty Kili. Most impressive.” Towa says, you and Freeza exchanging blank looks. She sees you looking to each other, then adds. “Hold on, give me a moment to convert to your measurement for powerlevels. That would be.... One billion, seven hundred seventeen million powerlevel. Give or take a hundred thousand or two.”
“Oh? Very impressive, your strength has risen by over seventy percent of what it was before in just a week.” Freeza says to you, then turns to Towa. “Well, what of me?”
“Eight hundred sixty one thousand, four hundred eighty Kili. Or, roughly....forty three point one billion powerlevel.” she says, your jaw dropping. Freeza, however, looks less than impressed with himself, looking down at his hands. “You made quite a bit of progress.”

cont
>>
>>5959938
“Hmmmm. Not as much as I was hoping for, but I suppose I was training at Karn's level.” he says, not looking to you. He seems a bit disappointed in himself, as if he were expecting his results to match yours. But you don't let his sudden downturn spoil the mood, reaching over and wrapping your left arm around him.
“C'mon, we got stronger for the fight, and that's what matters.” you tell him, then leaning in add at barely above a whisper. “If you want, I'm sure she could devise a training for you. She made this one specifically for us Saiyans, with our biology considered.”
“Karn is correct. And, while your people are hardy, Karn has one advantage over you when it comes to training this way.” Towa says, you both turning to her. “Zenkai boosts.”

“Hold on, wait a second. Are you telling me-?” you start, only for Towa to interrupt you.
“That this training pushed you close to death? Yes, and repeatedly.” she answers. “The Senzu have restorative properties, and as exhausted as you were you never noticed how close to death you'd get each time. But with each near-death your power rose even greater. This may hamper your ability to grow any substantial amount from any lesser damage than what I put you through here this past week, but it hasn't been much an obstacle to Future Chaya's growth. Now, who's ready to eat? Silver has just informed me that our final supper before this tournament kicks off is ready.”

At this both your and Freeza's stomachs growl at the though of real, flavored food, you looking to each other before laughing.

“I guess I have missed the taste of a well-prepared spread.” Freeza says, the three of you heading towards the door. You feel stronger than ever as you walk over, the door automatically opening to let you all back out. No matter who or what Champa's got on his side, after the hell you've been through for the past week, you doubt that any of them stand a chance against you now. You're as ready as you've ever been, ready to take them all on yourself if you have to. There is no way you're losing now.

>>5959943
What was the result of our dub 99?
>>
Working on updating the powerlevel pastebin now, before we get into the fight. But, as I do so, that leaves an important question for you all. Should we keep all the high numbers just as high numbers, or would you all like to convert the stronger fighters' numbers to Kili instead? For reference, 1 Kili=50,000 powerlevel.

>>5959967
Oh, very much so.
>>5959992
You've gotten quite strong.
>>5959995
Oh, it wasn't something all that great. It was only Karn and Meloka gaining the ability to sense each other's powers regardless of the form they're in. The first 99 was Meloka gaining the ability to sense you, the second making it a dub was you able to do the same. Now, regardless of who is in what form, you can both sense each other.
>>
>>5960002
Yeah you might as well just put it in Kili at this point with the conversion equation listed at the top.
>>
>>5960002
I believe Killi would make things easier to read at this point. We don't need to be digesting numbers over a billion.
>>
>>5960009
>>5960024
I've been considering it for a while, but now that Towa's actually here it would make using such measurements more reasonable in-quest. Starting with those of her timeline's powers first.

It is getting about to that time, where I have to reveal the multipliers for certain forms. And hoo boy, does balancing these scales hurt my brain. Have to factor in Ace and Future Chaya's trainings in, which I haven't done in a hot minute as well to balance these forms. Going to give myself an aneurism with this spreadsheet.

>>5960061
That was a powerful unlock, as now you can both sense each other's powers regardless of forms. Which may lead to future knowledge unlocks as well, growing accustomed to each others' powers.
>>
>>5960068
Would this sensing power work with body snatchers if Karn or meloka swapped bodies?
>>
>>5960358
>swapped bodies
Now that's where it gets particular. In Super, as its shown the bodies get swapped but not their clothes. So, while presumably you'd be able to sense their 'new' body's ki, you wouldn't necessarily know where their old body went.

Think I’m just going to abandon last week’s intermission project. Just tonight I typed four full pages of the epilogue, focusing on Chilli’s training for the Destroyers’ Tournament. Thinking forward a bit, but I'm already considering selection methods for our ToP team (if it even happens in this timeline).
I think our current picks for the Tournament of Destroyers are definitely gonna be there, but that still leaves 5 slots up for grabs.
We COULD play it safe and just pick from the same list of known allies, OR we could have a series of qualifiers across the known Universe.
What are your thoughts on the following?
>Any intelligent being with a minimum rating of 50 Kili in a resting state is invited to participate in a Battle Royale (non-lethal only, ring outs and knockouts result in ejection)
>Once 40 entrants are left standing, they're immediately transported in pairs to 20 different arena platforms
>These one-on-one matches continue until 5 fighters are left standing, at which point they're made formal members of Team Universe 7
>Eligible allies and notable qualifier participants are also invited as reserve fighters and spectators
>>

>that write in from months ago is really paying dividends.
Your gunna have to refresh us GD. Which Write In?
>>

It is a possibility. However, depending on the notice period to gather a team, it may not be practical. They only got around 48hours in canon to prepare a team.

Well that's bullshit, especially when Zeno can likely just shift the passage off time in his personal domain to match a reasonable recruitment period for everybody.
>>
>>5961558
But Zeno doesn't CARE, that's the point. It isn't about what's convenient for the universes about to be erased anyways.
>>
>>5961569
Hmmm, if we offer him micro tournaments PER universe, it might keep his attention long enough to do this....I just realised that fucking Vox of all people might be our best bet to get him to give us all time.
>>
>>5961569
Fair, but he might give a shit if we frame it in such a way that we need that much time to get the most entertaining people together.
Not that I'd expect Karn to mislead Zeno in the moment like that, that feels more like Chaya's wheelhouse.
>>
>>5961570
>that fucking Vox of all people might be our best bet
I would STRONGLY advise against that. Besides, your universe has the best chance besides 11 at assembling the strongest team in that timeframe.
>>5961578
Chaya could potentially have gotten on Zeno's good side easily with her years of crowd work with her streams, had she been given a fight and quite possibly have entertained Zeno the most of all competitors. But, since she doesn't get to, we'll have to see who he likes most with the current lineup. But I will warn you all, arguing with Zeno is a good way to get your free trial of existence revoked.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 214 Epilogue I-

AGE 757, CRIMSON DEMON VILLAGE OUTSKIRTS

Come on, hit me!” you declare, ducking Shalltear's Pipette Lance then twisting your body counterclockwise around her Einherjar's duplicate weapon. Taking two steps you then plant your feet, creating your twin blades of crystal in your hands to catch Cocytus' Decapitation Fang by the staff, narrowly stopping the blade an inch from your face. Twisting your weapons, raising your right arm and lowering your left you redirect his weapon into the ground then leaping back, avoiding his follow up strike with his prized weapon. God Slaying Emperor Blade, the single-edged blade crackling with electricity as he swings it through the space where you'd been standing. You notice, however as your feet land back on the ground that he didn't carelessly smash the thinner blade into the ground, instead stopping it without ever making contact.

Only for the ground to suddenly surge up around you, shaped like a hand as it tries to grab you. Forcing you to backflip up and away from the ground, twisting around counterclockwise while upside-down to dodge Albedo's overhead swing with her shifting weapon 3F. You then twist, firing a right back kick into the middle of her back, sending the woman crashing into Mare's conjured hand, shattering it. Then you allow yourself to drop, landing on your toes with your arms up, taking the defensive stance your father'd taught you while ending the crystal spell in your hand. Shalltear and her double, her shining white Einherjar contrasting the vampire's blood-red armor as both close back in on you.

“Come on Dad, you can do it!” your daughter cheers, her absolute confidence in you causing you to grin as the two rush ahead of Ainz' other Guardians. Planting your feet you brace yourself, then reach out by crossing your arms and catch both weapons.
“Huh?” Shalltear exclaims, you then pulling your arms out to your sides. Causing both Shalltear to slam into each other, stunning them momentarily. Taking advantage of this opening you then leap in, driving your right heel into the real Shalltear's face and sending her flying back. Then, you kick backwards with your left, driving your heel into the side of her head and knocking her ninety degrees away from the other one. And as she tumbles across the ground you flip around, landing on your left foot, right knee raised and ready to kick out again. But no one else tries, as their master Ainz speaks up.

“I think that's quite enough.” the skeleton declares, you turning your head to him as his servants all kneel. “As much as it pains me to admit, I don't think my people will be much help for you here. Even I am not strong enough to give you a good enough challenge, not yet.”

“Well, I guess that means we're up.” the slime sitting in the purple suited Kirin's lap says, you feeling Rimuru's magical power surge. A moment later the dragon Veldora appears in his humanoid form, laying on his side and reading a book of some sort. With rather...Provocative artworks on the front. He doesn't notice that he's no longer wherever he was, chuckling a bit to himself until Rimuru coughs. Veldora blinks, looking up and around in confusion a moment before hiding the book behind his back. “Hey, you said that you wanted to fight the Super Saiyan again, right?”
“Haah?” he asks, looking around and seeing you standing there. “Oh, Chilli! You're ready to throw down, huh? Very well, I accept your challenge!”

Veldora Tempest, a dragon with a deep knowledge of techniques nearly on par with Perfect Cell leaps down from the crater's edge, landing a dozen feet or so behind you. Turning around, you see the dragon standing there confidently, fists on his hips. Clearly trying to look confident.

“Do you want to transform first? Or should I?” he asks you.
“Go ahead, you go first and I'll match your power.” you reply to him. To which he smirks, clenching his fists and crouching.
“HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” Veldora roars while letting his golden aura blaze up around him. His hair spikes as his powerlevel explodes, multiplying fifty times over. You still don't know how a dragon can go Super Saiyan, but somehow Veldora makes it work. “HRRRRRAAAAAAAAA!!”

But Veldora doesn't stop at Super Saiyan, his power doubling again as lightning crackles around his body. The entire planet begins shaking as his might continues growing. You watch in surprise as his strength continues surging, Veldora doubling over as the strangest thing begins happening. His power continues climbing as his hair begins to grow down his back, to your shock the dragon is going even further beyond! Going beyond even an Ascended Saiyan, straight to Super Saiyan Three!

“HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” he bellows one final time, unleashing a blinding flash of light. As it fades, you see the man has truly done it. Veldora the dragon has, somehow, ascended into his own version of Super Saiyan 3. A form even you haven't unlocked yet. “And this is Super Saiyan Three. Sorry it took so long, haven't actually used this one before.”
“Then let's make it a good one! HYAH!” you shout, immediately taking on your Ascend form then dropping back into your fighting stance. To your surprise he actually has the edge on you in terms of raw power, which should make this some good training. You drop back into your fighting stance, gesturing to him with your left. “Bring it.”

“Here I-HADOUKEN!” he shouts, throwing both hands forward in a move similar to the Time Patrol's Kamehameha, but instead of a beam fires a single spherical projectile a little smaller than your torso. But he doesn't stop at just one. “HADOUKEN! HADOUKEN! HADOOUUKEN!!”

Planting your feet you swat the barrage of energy attacks aside with your left hand, deflecting them forehand and backhand. You deflect over dozen shots before the dragon switches techniques, your left hand out as he suddenly closes the distance. With energy gathered around his right fist, Veldora swings up at you.

“SPIRIT SHOTGUN!” he roars, more than two dozen beams of blue energy exploding from his fist. You cross your arms, bracing yourself for the impact as his attack lands. It feels like he punches you a couple dozen times simultaneously, the impacts slamming into your crossed arms and knocking you up into the air. Only to then plant his feet, pointing his right hand at you and shouting. “SPIRIT SWORD!”

A beam of focused golden energy shoots out from his fingertips, the piercing point aimed at your guts. Twisting your body clockwise with the Su Ma style you narrowly avoid the blade of ki, dashing down towards him. Veldora swings the blade back and forth, you weaving, flipping and spinning around the attack as you close in. Then, once you're in range drive your left fist in his ribs, under his outstretched right arm.

“GAHK?!” he shouts as you break his concentration on that technique, the energy fading as you then go on the attack. Veldora tries to defend himself, but his defense has always been his biggest weakness. Being so strong among these weaker beings, he never needed to work on defending himself. Which is why you go on the attack, weaving around his strikes with the Su Ma and countering, striking him from all angles as he struggles to keep up. Despite his superior power and speed you manage to avoid every single blow he throws your way, striking him with over twenty unanswered blows. Finally, with a turning left elbow to the guts followed by a right uppercut you knock Veldora off his feet, the taller man sailing a few feet through the air before crashing back to the ground. His hair shrinks back to normal as he powers back down, no longer able to sustain the power output of the form. “Damn. I thought for sure copying Goku's transformation would have let me beat you.”

“It was a nice try, you were stronger than me for a few seconds, before you started losing power by the second.” you tell him, sighing out and powering back down while offering him a hand up. “But I guess there's no one strong on this world to help me train. Guess I am going to have to go back to New Salda after a-”

“Hold on, Master. I think there's one more being to fight.” your apprentice, Alimar Zorc says as you haul the dragon upright. You turn to him, seeing he's already conjured the crystalline Kuriboh creature you helped him create a week ago. “Five Star Twillight!”
“Krrrrrin!” it calls, the sound somewhere between a purr and chimes jangling in a breeze as it shatters, transforming into the five colored Kuribohs. With quick casts of his Multiply spell and combining the five into his more powerful Kuribabylon variants, he then sends all five of them down into the crater with you.
“Please get back, this is going to be a big one.” he shouts, you realizing instantly what he's going for. And can't help but grin, powering back up into your Ascended form as you get clear of the three creatures. After all, he's summoning a beast much larger than them. “I offer these three greater fiends as tribute! Now, come forth!”

At Alimar's declaration the three begin dissolving into pure mana, storm clouds gathering overhead into a swirling vortex as lightning begins crashing down. From the center of the storm clouds a beam of pure magical energy strikes the center of the crater where his three tributes had been, Alimar sending the other two down towards it as the light begins fading. Revealing a massive blue and purple beast, it flapping its wings once before roaring to the sky.

“Behold! Raviel, Lord of Phantasmal Demons!” he declares, voice nearly drown out by the monster's bellow. The monster's power dwarfs your own, the titanic creature then looking to the two Kuribabylon sent towards it. “Great Raviel, I offer you these two beings as further tribute! Consume them to further increase your own might!”
“Wait, what?” you say, glancing back over your shoulder as the demon reaches down, grabbing both of the creatures in one hand. They also are converted to pure mana, the motes of energy quickly absorbed into the monster's hand. Causing it to grow even larger, nearly doubling its might.
“Lord Raviel, my master demands a challenge worthy of his strength!” Alimar calls down, the demon turning its attention back to him. “Show the Son of Karn your might!”

“What?” it exclaims, turning immediately from Alimar back to you. You can see the beast study you, then after a second actually recoiling back a step. “You are of his blood: Karn the Slayer.”
“Yes, my father killed Trigon.” you say to the large demon. “And from what I was told, bested you as well. But I'm not looking to kill you.”
“Oh?” the large demon asks, leaning down curiously. “Then what would you have of me, Son of Karn?”

“A tournament is going to be held between Lord Beerus and his brother, Champa.” you say, noticing the momentary flicker of fear in the demon's eyes. Seems even he is aware of the Destroyer's reputation. “And I am going to be fighting alongside my father for our universe. But I need a training partner, one physically stronger than me who can push my limits.”
“And for this, you have called upon me?” Raviel asks, seemingly intrigued. “And what would be in it for me, should I agree to this request?”
“Favor.” you reply, seeing both the blue demon's brows raise. “Not only will I owe you an equivalent favor, but my father will be grateful as well. Not to mention Princess Towa.”

“How do you know that name?” Raviel immediately asks, its tone immediately becoming more aggressive. “A mortal shouldn't know of-!”
“She and my father are.... Well, see for yourself.” you say, gesturing over your shoulder with your thumb where your student Alimar is standing beside your wife Meloka and your two children, as well as your half-sister Milha who are all seated. “Milha, mind coming over here a moment?”
“O-Of course.” she replies, lifting up to her feet and flying over, landing beside you. Raviel leans in again, looking intently at your half sister for several seconds.
“You truly are of royal blood. It is unmistakable.” Raviel says to her, actually kneeling before her in a pose of submission. “Forgive me, my lady, I had not realized.”

“I-I-It's quite alright. Please, rise.” she says, the hulking demon doing so immediately at her order. “But if you would, I would like it if you helped my half-brother prepare for this tournament.”
“As you wish.” the demon says, bowing to her before turning its attention back to Alimar. “You. If I am to remain in this realm, I will need far more tributes of mana.”
“Of course!” your disciple shouts, again conjuring the Crystalline Kuriboh you'd developed together. As you look back at him you also catch Rimuru and Ainz' reactions to this, both clearly still shocked by how events unfolded. Their people all look shocked, even the demon standing behind Rimuru's assistant he calls Diablo seems genuinely surprised by this being. He notices you looking and regains his composure, but then reaches out telepathically to you.

“Such...Interesting people you surround yourself with.” is all Diablo says, ending the link. You then turn back to the colossal demon, powering up to one hundred percent.
“Let's do this!” you shout, kicking off the ground up towards him as he swings his massive right down. Your fists slam together, the shock wave knocking you back dozens of feet through the air as it actually knocks the colossal demon back a step, Raviel regaining his balance and swinging his left. Charging in you meet his left with one of your own, again meeting him power for power. This is it, this is the training you've been looking for!

-Tournament Day-

“Come on kids, hurry up! We don't want to be late!” your wife calls downstairs to your two children as you finish going over all of your equipment. While weapons MAY not be permitted, no one had said they weren't allowed to you. So you're going into this fight loaded for deities, ready to kill even another god should Champa get one involved. After all, your side has a deity going into this fight too, it'd be foolish to assume he wouldn't. “How about you hun, you ready?”

“Yes, just finishing the last one up now.” you tell her, looking at your knife through the magnification crystal lens you'd conjured, making sure the bone hadn't picked up a crack. Satisfied, you take it off the table, slipping the knife into its sheath inside your robe before standing. You call your hat, staff and the ancient Moonlight Greatsword to you, yet for some reason only your weapons heed your call, the mana you'd spent to pull your hat to you just fizzling out. As if you hadn't put enough into the magic itself for it to work. Frowning, you wonder what went wrong a moment before the sounds of their little feet ring out, Meloka Wolbach and Kazuburo running up the stairs. Your daughter emerges first, still wearing her school clothes and carrying your hat in both hands overhead with a big smile on her face.
“Here you go!” she says, grinning as she runs up and hands you your own hat. From her cheeky grin you know that she realized you were calling it to you and countered the spell, clearly waiting for a reaction. So, you smile, reaching down and putting it on your head.
“I was wondering why it didn't come to me. Do you know why that would be?” you ask her, Meloka Wolbach giggling before answering.

“I cast my own magic on it, the new Counterspell Teacher taught me today! It's called Mana Tithe!” she boasts proudly, smile growing wider as she looks at you eagerly.
“And your Counterspell worked, well done.” you say while reaching down, ruffling her hair and giving her the approval she clearly wants. Her smile grows even wider at this, Kazuburo coming up the stairs a moment later. He sees your daughter getting her hair ruffled and is clearly jealous, so you call him over and give him the same treatment for a moment. “Now, everyone ready?”
“Ready!” your daughter shouts excitedly.
“Ready.” your son answers as well, not as boldly but still excited.
“Ready.” your wife says, leaning in and giving you a kiss on the cheek. “Are you ready?”

“Ready.” you answer, raising your right to your forehead. It's time to show everyone just how strong you really are.

I just realized that if the ToP starts going horribly for us, we have a Nuclear Panic Button in the form of Ginyu absorbing our entire team. -Saiyan Conqueror Quest 214 Epilogue II-

AGE 757, KING COLD'S WORLD

“Come on, is that all you've got?” you taunt teasingly, narrowly ducking under the emperor's golden right fist by retracting your head into your body. As you do you swing up with your left, catching him squarely in the chin. In his Golden state your punch isn't enough to hurt him, but by catching him by surprise you snap his head back.
“Guh. HAAA!” Cooler snarls, twisting his body clockwise and smacking you with his tail, sending your rubbery body flying. And before you can stop yourself, you splat against one of the heavy corner pillars of the outdoor arena. It takes you a moment to reshape your body, pulling yourself off the stone as your emperor dashes in towards you once more. Again he fires a heavy right, this time you evade it by stretching your head, reshaping it into a donut and letting his fist pass harmlessly through. And as his fist slams into the pillar behind you, shattering it, you kick up into his chin with your right heel. The force of the kick sends him back, Cooler flipping once before landing back on his feet. But he doesn't land balanced, staggering back a pair of steps before finding his balance again. “Tch! Not bad, Captain. I actually felt that one.”

“Thank you, Lord Cooler! I have been training diligently every single day!” you reply, immediately clicking your heels together and giving your emperor a crisp salute. He nods back, acknowledging it as he retakes his own fighting stance. You do the same, readying yourself for whatever he tries. But before the two of you can return to fighting, suddenly King Cold speaks from the sidelines.
“Aaaand time. Well done, both of you.” your longtime ally says, Cooler sighing out and instantly powering back down out of his golden state. “That was five minutes longer than last time, my son. You even managed to stay transformed the entire time.”
“Barely.” comes Cooler's reply as he continues powering down, shrinking back into his sleek fourth form. He then looks to his right hand, clenching his fist. “It's still not enough.”

“You will get there, my son. Lord Beerus has had millions of years to build his strength, reaching that level won't be achieved so quickly.” his father tells him, then turns his gaze to you. “And how are you? No issues?”
“Not a one!” you boast, then after a moment answer more truthfully. “At least, physically However, I have noticed my reactions getting a bit... Sluggish, lately.”

“Sluggish? In what way?” he asks you, eyes laser focused on your own instantly.
“I think it is to due to this body's unique sleep schedule.” you reply. “While it doesn't require sleep often, when it does I am down for days, even weeks at a time. None of my team have been able to wake me, no matter what they do once I sleep.”
“Are you saying that you won't be awake for the tournament against the Sixth Universe tomorrow?” King Cold asks pointedly, you shaking your head.
“No, my king. I'll be there. But, I fear that I won't be at one hundred percent.” you answer him. “And I don't dare risk trying a short nap, as there's no guarantee I'll wake up in time.”

“I see. Very well, do your best to hold out, Captain.” he says, you offering another crisp, perfect salute. You are Captain Ginyu, now after centuries of effort the owner of the most dangerous bodies in all of reality. Having bested even the likes of the Kais, toppled King Cold's former Order of galactic peacekeeping warriors and even besting King Cold's own father, the first of his kind to unlock their race's Golden form, Majin Buu was an absolute menace. And now his body is yours, his power yours to wield as you see fit. Your decades, centuries even of service to King Cold were all worth it to obtain this body and the powers it contains. For the past week you've been training here on King Cold's planet, sparring with both him and his son to prepare for the upcoming tournament. When you'd first been informed of the mission by Lord Cooler, the other members of your team had wanted to take the other spots, but were rejected.

“Only the Captain will be participating. The other slots are already taken by the Saiyans, and my brother.” Lord Cooler had told you all when giving the news. “Were it a group fight, I would have considered assigning you all the task of claiming victory. As no team in the empire is as powerful together as you all. But, with the fight being individual fights, only the Captain will be brought along. Unlike the rest of you, he is strong enough to stand one-on-one against the likes of myself, my brother or the Saiyans.”

“Lord Cooler, a question!” you'd asked, loudly coming to a salute then. He acknowledged you, so you'd continued. “In preparation for the tournament, would I be permitted to train with your lordship? My battle spacing for a fight in an enclosed space with rules is currently sub-par.”
“That was why I came to deliver the news in person.” Cooler had told you. “I talked it over with father, you shall be permitted to stay on his world for the week. Taking as much time training as needed, within that week span. When you are ready, I am to take you there to speak with him immediately.”

“UNDERSTOOD!” you'd shouted, remaining at salute. “One final question, my lord!”
“What is it?” he asked, you then turning a bit to your compatriots. “Will my men get to accompany me on this assignment? I know they won't be allowed to participate, but will you grant them the honor of bearing witness? A victory means nothing without those to celebrate it with.”
“Hmph, very well. -IF- the Destroyer allows it, then fine. But that is beyond our control.” Cooler says, giving as much to you as he's able. You and your team rejoiced, you giving them the order to meet on the Saiyan world New Salda the day of before going with him to his father's planet. But as you return to the present, suddenly, you get an idea.
“Hold on, Lord Cooler. King Cold. I just had a brilliant idea!” you say, both looking at you. Focusing, you allow yourself to enrage. Feeling your anger rise up against the part of yourself that wants nothing more than to sleep. Your fury rises, steam blowing out of the holes in your head and along your arms with a whistle. Watching this both of your rulers step back, clearly unsure what you're doing. You focus everything you've got into SEPARATING yourself, splitting and divesting yourself of that weakness. “Grrrrrr! Hrrrrrrrr!! HRRRRRRAAAAAA!!”

Steam explodes from you in a final burst, the cloud beginning to coalesce into a being. ANOTHER body of yourself! However, instead of it being shaped like you, this other you is built like Majin Buu was when you met him, as big around as he is tall. But that Buu immediately falls out of the air, landing on his back on the ground near you.

“WHAAAT?!” King Cold exclaims in shock, taking several steps back. “What in all the realms did you DO?”
“Don't worry, this one's harmless.” you say, gesturing over to the fat version of you laying where he'd fallen. For you all to see that this other one's already asleep and snoring. “I split myself apart from my weakness, so now it won't slow me down.”
“You...Split yourself.” Cooler says, sounding just stunned. “From your weakness.”
“Exactly. See, this is all my exhaustion and tiredness.” you say, gesturing over to the sleeping, rotund body. “Now, despite not being at 100% power-wise, I will be a full mental capacity for the fight! Which is far more important, as a strength gap can be overcome. But not a mental acuity deficiency!”

“Sometimes you scare me, old friend.” King Cold says with a chuckle, eyeing the body that had the form Majin Buu took upon its resurrection. “But how do we ensure this beast remains asleep and doesn't rampage? Having him wake and go on a rampage could be a problem.”

“That's the easiest part. Stand back, please.” you reply, waving your antenna forward and focusing your divine power through it. “Candy Beam!”
“What?” Cooler exclaims, father and son watching on in shock as you transform that fat version of you into a giant, flat cookie. “What in the world did you do?

“With this body's divine power, I have the ability to transmogrify. Turning matter into other matter, living or nonliving it doesn't matter.” you say, seeing the son's eyes widen while King Cold simply looks on. He's already seen what you've figured out about this body, having given you insights from all the information he'd gathered over the centuries. “I can even heal injuries, spiritual and physical with this power. There doesn't seem to be any limits to what I can do, after learning how this body works I'm not surprised that even the gods would fall to Majin Buu.”

“That is why you must take care. With your wielding that form, no doubt the Kais seek your end.” King Cold answers, something hard in his tone. “Should they try to destroy us, should Beerus the Destroyer come for us, you and Karn may be our best chances for survival.”
“I won't let you down, my king!” you salute. Knowing full well that you'll do whatever it takes to pay King Cold back for all he's done for you over the years. After all, while his time is limited now, with this body you'll probably live forever. It's the least you can do to repay him.

-Meanwhile, at Dreadzone Station-

“It's totally not fair! How come -I- don't get to participate in this tournament? I'm the best arena fighter in the universe!” Chaya complains as she sits across from Tanya, the former champion having been teaching the current one how to play a game from her homeworld. A game of strategy hundreds if not thousands of years old. One on a black and white tiled board, where each player controls pieces of a color and each one can only move according to certain rules. While complaining she moves the horse piece forward, getting it within range of Tanya's king. “Check.”

“Yes, you're probably the most experienced fighter in a tournament setting, with rules and limitations. But there's a more obvious reason that you weren't chosen this time.” Tanya replies, moving a tower-shaped piece all the way across the board, taking her piece while simultaneously putting Chaya in check instead. “Check.”

“And what's that?” the Saiyan replies, moving her piece to safety, which opens up another attack by Tanya from one of the diagonal-moving pieces, it sliding across the board to hit the castle behind her king.
“Check.” Tanya replies, her slightly younger counterpart getting a little frustrated. “That's team composition.”
“What do you mean?” Chaya asks, sliding her castle in to protect her piece, taking out the one that took out her last piece. Not advancing her board, but simply retaliating for the loss she'd taken. “Wouldn't you want the most experienced fighters in a fight?”
“In most cases, yes. But you said it is a series of one-on-one fights, yes? Check.” Tanya asks, sliding her other castle in line and forcing Chaya's king to move only one way. “Look at the five fighters you know are participating, what you've heard from Freeza.”

“Dad, Mom, Freeza, Captain Ginyu, and Chilli.” Chaya answers, retreating as the two castles of Tanya's keep forcing Chaya's king to the side of the board, limiting its movement. “But why not me?”
“Your father is there to handle any divine threats, your mother IS a divine threat, Lord Freeza is probably the outright strongest and probable anchor.” Tanya continues, marching Chaya into her trap at the far edge of the board with no other friendly pieces, leaving her nowhere to run or hide. “Captain Ginyu, with Majin Buu's body can survive anything and keep going, and your brother has more powerful magic than even I do. Your father didn't make the team with his STRONGEST fighters, what he's built instead is a team capable of handling ANY threat. Checkmate.”

“Damn, you got me.” Chaya retorts, sitting back in her seat as she thinks everything over. Both her loss in the game, and how the argument went. As much as she don't like it, Chaya realizes that they were thinking further ahead than she was. But that's why she's here studying strategy with Tanya, trying to better herself. “Ready for another game?”
“You're on.” Tanya retorts, the two girls enjoying their little bit of off time together, chatting and relaxing before the day of the tournament during their hour of peace between scheduled events. Talking freely in the room free of any recording equipment, something they hadn't done for years. But with their past reconciled, the two women's friendship has returned, stronger than it ever was while they were younger and their egos clashed. Now, with defined roles unopposed to each other, the two women no longer fighting for dominance and superiority, their friendship flourishes once again.

Chaya's chess streams are about to be legendary.
Also I'm glad Ginyu managed to figure out a workaround for his body's retarded sleep schedule. Thank God we found some subs though jesus christ.
>>
>>5963363
Oh no, her fans don't yet know she's studying it. She's saving that as a surprise, playing against some of her higher-tier fans on a stream with one week's notice. Will be quite surprising.
For now. It isn't a foolproof method, as when he merges back together that exhaustion will hit even harder.

What? What do you mean?
>>
>>5963405
>What? What do you mean?
I'm just being a paranoid pessimist. You never know what might happen between now and the tournament is all I'm saying.
Ginyu looks like he's ready to throw down right now, but who's to say that'll be the case the day of?
>>
>>5962453
>Was it really so peaceful?
Yes. Aside from a couple of calls of samefagging as would be expected for such large votes, it was very laid-back and drama-free both in and out of thread as far as I recall. With that and all the anons and QMs there to have fun with a number of drawfags, I daresay it had something of a carnival atmosphere to it.

Same that I don't understand the 60-second wait after doing a tick-box captcha to do the text captcha. Hiroshimoot pls, y u do dis.
>>
>>5963410
The husbando side still needs 4 more candidates, too.
>>
>>5963405
>the board is noticeably bolted down with four bolts on each leg as well as being welded to the floor AND there's a clamp on each leg with a huge weight on the other end of each
>the board still gets flipped

>>5963413
There are a few dudes I'd like to see get in, but it seems like the QMs and anons aren't too keen on nominating them. I personally lack any writing ability to make them appealing with the prompts given so I won't do it.
>>
>>5963405
Won't it repress the Exhausted parts of him once he absorbs it? Like when Evil Buu ate Good Buu and turned into Super Buu. The good buu portion was supressed and dominated by the evil buu portion. He became a superior Buu.
>>
>>5963407
Well, the events with the Captain and Chaya were the day before. And next episode we'll pick up the day of.
>>5963410
That decided it, I went ahead and threw Karn and Chaya into that ring. We'll see what happens, someone keep me updated.
>>5963425
Ha, but no. Chaya's long past her outbursts now. She's matured with age. Now, if and when Chaya finally beats Tanya on the other hand, well...
>>5963429
That division was different, and not entirely willing. Unlike canon Buu, Captain Ginyu doesn't suffer any conflicting personalities or anything like that. But even with that division, Super Buu and even Kid Buu weren't able to harm Hercule while Good Buu was still a part of them.

I'm excited to see HIM in action.

Ha
>>5963935
Been wanting to reveal this for a while, how their friendship has rekindled. But a whole chess intermission/epilogue needed another conflict, another 'level' to show their differences in thought patterns. Chaya is still vengeful and impulsive, whereas Tanya is a ruthless but methodical thinker.
>>5963937
>Rose Vegeta
Didn't have that on my 2024 bingo card.
>>
>>5963896
Ayo, based? Saiyan Wizard Money Gang.
>>
Glad to see that Chaya and Tanya are on good terms nowadays. I also thought that Majin Buu's narcolepsy was just because of his personality, didn't consider that it was a part of his physiology
>>
>>5964052
Ha. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately for the universe at large, few Saiyans can wield magic.
>>5964145
Now that their egos don't directly clash and they respect each other's strengths, their friendship is a lot less strained. And right? But upon digging, it makes sense. Why would Bibidi SEAL AWAY Buu each time he'd send him to another planet then release him, instead of flying along with magic through space WITH Buu? Shin even says he caught Bibidi after the wizard had resealed Buu and killed him while Buu wasn't with him. Perhaps it was to constantly keep Buu well rested like it's New Vegas, and not only for his own safety?
>>
Guys I'm so excited for this upcoming episode! Can you believe how vastly differently this timeline ended up than the longest SCQ epilogue ever predicted all those years ago? Karn and Chaya are on vastly different paths than from that timeline, Chaya arguably moreso than Karn. Speaking of, wonder if we'll ever meet him...?
>>
>>5964309
Yeah that was a ways back. Wasn't chaya Vegetas queen in the prediction?
>>
>>5964309
Time is a funny thing. It changes everything. Wild ride indeed.
>>
>>5964315
Yes she was in that timeline. And in that one Karn touched UI against Hit to overcome his Time Skip. Their lives played out quite differently in this timeline, and not necessarily for the better.
>>5964319
So many different timelines have been created due to Karn becoming Fateless. But how will this team Universe 7 fare against Champa's warriors of the Sixth?
>>
>>5964374
Is Universe 6's timeline being pushed ahead of the canon schedule the same as Universe 7's?
>>
>>5964384
>pushed ahead
Interesting choice of words. Accelerating one universe relative to another, to make different ages match up would be a feat for a time god. Or someone with a very specific set of abilities and a goal in mind. But decelerating one, relative to the others is a far easier feat. One that even a powerful enough wizard could do, with the right spells and knowledge.
>>
>>5964388
Real talk, I'm asking if it's gonna be Cabba or Renso representing Sadala in this tournament.
>>
>>5964393
You’ll see soon enough.
>>
Something to consider before the next episode starts, your team order for this tournament. Be thinking about who should go when, which position you want Karn to have most of all. Anchor, point, or somewhere in the middle?
>>
>>5964522
Do we have to set up our team order in advance? I thought we would just call those shots on the fly.

Just went back and started rereading my old Destroyers' tournament epilogue. And I am in fact an accidental genius, pic quite related.

>>5964531
It's more than a two-hour flight from New Salda to Beerus' planet then to wherever the tournament will be held. Strategizing will be done then, as Freeza wants to go in with a plan.

They call every genius a madman at some point.
