It has been 100 years since ancient beings, known as the Old Ones, walked the Earth with their two strong feet. Now they are gone and we animals now rule the remains that they left behind. With our new knowledge of sword and sorcery, we were able to survive in peace for a while, but then came the three factions.
The Apes: Strong giants, claiming to be as just as the old ones and believe they should be the ones to rule over the new world.
The Pigs: An intellectual but slothful group who wish to rule the world with an iron hoof and remain kings while the others remained as dumb animals.
Then there the Lizards: A fast and large group that want to set the world a blaze. Trying to forget the harsh past that the old ones left.
All three sides wishing to go war and destroy one another to bring in what they believe to be true peace.
But, unbeknownst to everyone, there was another group. One that was trying their best to find a way to heal everyone. To bring back order.
You found it.... and now you are taking care of it.

A D&D Homebrew Adventure.

Last Time on the ROTA Campaign.
>Some Motherfuckers trying to iceskate uphill.
>But the two remaining deer were no match compared to the the powers of Wolf, Bear, Gun, and a Retarded Cat.
>Oh yeah one of the mule cats almost died.
>But after all the Forest Guardians were destroyed our heroes learned that their goddess might be a criminal from 100 years ago.
>After they got their equipment, minus the guns, the group then found a dead town.
>A museum town dedicated to the first animals that killed a dragon.
>A bunch of history was then dumped by our heroes anout the first kings of their race.
>Then the group takes a long rest, finally getting the real sleep they needed.
>But not before trying out their Polymorph Rings.
>Now the group decides to head out into the Museum Town and hope to find something needed or... like a map or weapons.
>It's a ghost town anything can happen.
>>
>>5806036
>You all soon enter the ghost town.
>There's only a few buildings around this area.
>Mostly a saloon.
>The aforementioned museum.
>Among other various buildings.
>There also seems to be a windmill as well.
>Bobby and crew look around to see if there is any value in this old historic landmark.
>Jenkins is slightly ahead scouting out the area.
>Adler and the slime Harold are close to Ursus in case anything goes wrong.
>While Maggie just looks around curiously.
"So that windmill? Does it like generate power or something? Detect storms maybe?"
>She asks her fellow party members.
>Again she was a bit curious about how this world worked since she just heard about your history yesterday.
>Still, it's best to be wary than curious about everything.
So what do you do?
>>
>>5806039
I don’t know about power but typically the windmill provides rotational power for a grindstone to make floor, is that not how windmill normally work in your time?
>>
>>5806039
>Ursus was also interested in how Maggie’s world worked aswell so maybe they could exchange bits of how their knowledge
>>

"Floor? Your windmills make floor? Though I think you are meaning flour but I still get the gist. But yeah our windmills did that as well but then they were upgraded to provide electricity for everyone."
>Maggie responded.
>That's when Adler.
"But I thought the old ones couldn't produce magic."
>Adler said.
"Alright explain that fire I threw out yesterday."
"I didn't see that."
"Right you didn't see that... that was the pervert."
"Oh you mean Martin and his imaginary doe who he claims is his tulpa?"
"Oh god, he had a tulpa?"
"Most of the bucks did. Like I said, we didn't really have a lot of doe."
"Then how the fuck were you born?"
"My mother was the last doe the cult had and she died giving birth to me."
"Oh... I'm sorry Adler."
"It's not your fault. She was destined to be a part of the trees. At least that's what the druid told me. Either way what was that about throwing that fire."
"Right. I can do that... I think... I'm not sure how but I can."
>>
>>5806058
Ursus gives Adler a comfort pat
Sorry for your loss
>>
>>5806058
And you mentioned electricity I think I’ve seen what you’re referring to I’ve seen sparks of lightning in one the contraptions in the city before I met you kinny and mog
>>
>>5806058
“Magic” as we know it may have been a more recent emergence that could correlate with the emergence of us and only Recently is it effecting you Maggie
>>
>>5806058
>>5806061
>Adler feels that.
>As if feeling as people are telling him it is okay to feel sad about loved ones dying.
>Though he wasn't sure how to feel about his mother dying since he never truly met her.
>Still he had to try and hold his emotions in for just a bit.
>Adler then looks back at Maggie.
"So Old Ones can control fire and electricity?"
>>5806065
>Maggie wasn't sure how to explain this.
"I mean we can harness electricity, I mean it's how we got stuff like lights, phones, computers.... um... okay how do I explain this... let's see."
>Maggie tries to explain.
Time to make an intelligence check and see if Maggie is just as smart about electricity as she is guns.

>Though she isn't as passionate as she was about explaining guns and how they work she was able to convey extraordinarily well the way humans used to use electricity.
>She does however get in a debated moment with herself about who really mastered mastered it.
>Some fucker named Tesla or some fucker named Edison.
>Though it really shouldn't matter.
>Hopefully her explaination didn't exhaust the party like her guntaku spiel from the last explaination she did.
>>5806067
>She did end up stopping though when Ursus brought this up.
"Oh yeah you guys can use magic. How did that start?"
>Adler then finally spoke after a long while of being silent.
"That was the rabbits and mice who fist discovered we could use magic."
"Oh really. Do tell..."
>Adler then was silent...

Sorry for no response to the windmills, I wouldn't know what to say given I'm not sure how much of human tech was lost and how much of what was lost was remade by animals later on. For example: cars exist, some of them even work, but we referred to them as "caravans".
>to Adler on old ones using magic
"I mean, what's the big deal? Your 'goddess' seems to be an old one and she is very much able to do freaky stuff." Kinny interjected. "Besides, aren't old ones just... animals, like us? If you look at Maggie and Ursus when he stands on his hind legs... or even those damn monkeys, they seem to share some physical traits."
>>5806079
"Tessla and Edison sound just like many animal inventors. Leeches and thieves." Kinny commented on the story when he stopped daydreaming. "You'd be surprised how many of the things I transported were some sorts of blueprints. Some were even small contraptions. Best part? Most of them were useless or ended up backfiring on their new owners." The cat grinned. "But that wasn't part of my job so I made sure to disappear before any of them could pull me into their nonsense."

>Adler then began his speech.
"The first magic users within the animal kingdom were the mice and rabbits. Once they discovered they could control the elements they then decided to teach their findings to the rest. The first disciples of learning magic were the cats as a peace treaty of sorts. Then it was the canines, followed by the deer, then the bears, the apes, then finally the pigs. Each race was trying to help one another try and figure how to improve or discover the magic we were could use. It wasn't until King Louis the VIII came along with the five wisest animals he knew and created The King's Spellbook. While it is common nowadays, the first prints of the book were said to be the holy grail of magic. Teaching everyone whatever spell they wanted, that was if they could do it. Not everyone was gifted with magic. But then again there were great feats to animals who couldn't use magic. Like having a ton of strength. I mean look at Ursus and Mog. They're really strong and buff animals and they can't use magics. There's also Maggie, you're super strong for a tall creature with lumps on your chest and walks like a newborn deer."
"I do not walk like a newborn deer!!"
>Maggie insisted.
"Ursus Kinny! Do I walk like a newborn deer?!"

"Will you all just shut up!!"
>Jenkins then shouted.
"Did you forget we are all supposed to be stealthy and not flab our gab around this area like a bunch of tourists? We are trying to survive not talk. You can talk as much as you want after we see if we are indeed safe."
>>
>>5806146
I think Adler is referring to how as bears develop we gain more mass and tend to a have a slouch while you have a fully upright stance because you aren’t weighed down with mass not to mention our default stance is quadrupedal it takes trainers to fully stand upright while walk which I have accomplished
>>
>>5806148
That’s supposed to say training
>>
>>5806146
"Can't say I've seen a newBORN deer, but you seem to walk more.." Kinny stared at Maggie's legs. "...stable. Deer on two legs walk like they're constantly about to fall."
The cat then turned to Adler. "I sorta figured out some magic on my own without learning about it."
>>
>>5806146
Let’s move out and explore before we get ambushed eh? Make sure your group stays together
>>
Sorry was eating lunch.

>>5806148
>>5806154
>Everyone got quiet after Jenkin's outburst.
>It wasn't until he left after everyone got to talking again.
"I guess that makes sense."
>Maggie said to the bear.
"Well yeah, but your ancestors had to learn from the mice first before they properly mastered it."
>Adler rebutted.
>>5806159
>You all then head to the center of the town.
>Again there were just a few buildings here, but now that you are closer you could see some graves and centuries old tents pitched up on the ground.

"You guys can go to museum, but I'd like to take a look around the other places on my own." Kinny then paused "Unless Bobby and cats want to go with me."
>Kinny wants to sneak into the church on his own or with the stealth brigade
Really I'm looking for daggers or magical points of interest, so I figure it's the place to go to.
>>
>>5806176
>Bobby was unsure or not to bring the cats with her or not.
>She didn't want to "jeopardize the mission" as Jenkins put it.
>Still best to keep her friends safe.
"Ord, Potato, go with Ursus. Adler you are with us since you seem to be a magic expert."
>Bobby ordered.
>Adler gave Bobby an affirmed nod and got close to Kinny and Bobby.
>>5806168
>Ord and Potato went with Ursus and Maggie.
>They then looked over to their leader.
"Be safe okay?"
>Potato said to Bobby.
"Did you guys see Kinny yesterday? He was a tiger. I think I'll be safe with him around. And if not, we got a healer."
>Bobby reaffirmed them.
"Now let's see what we can get out of this town."

Ursus what would you like to do at the museum?

"Good thinking," Kinny commented on Bobby's commands "and good luck to you guys." He nodded to the other group before they split. Once near church, the rogue led his group to the back entrance. "The town might be empty, but I'm not going to waltz in through the front gate. Prefer to be safe and all that." The cat explained while he was eyeing the back door.
>Entering through the back quietly
>Making sure nobody is here before acting
>Then looking for magic items/secret passages

"Years of avoiding border patrols like wildfire will do that to you." Kinny responded before heading inside the building. Once everyone was in, the cat began looking for signs of life, or booby traps. Either could prove problematic to their little operation.

"Fuck, you'd think this place would have windows or something." Kinny swore in hushed voice. "Einstein, give me a candle." The cat asked his onboard companion and began unpacking matches himself. Soon after, the candle was lit. "At least we know the previous occupants are not in this part of the building..." The rogue muttered as the light was getting brighter and slowly passed the candle to Adler. "You're the pacifist of the group and also the tallest, so carry the light."

"Some sects and weird religions use ceremonial daggers, no? And even if they didn't here, for all we know there might be some old relic weapons here. Besides, weapons are not the only focus here, I'm curious to see if there are any magical items or even just energies here." The half-magical cat shared his plans.
For the record, it's fine if we don't find anything, I just thought church would be nice to visit for the magical cat gimmick. The "relic dagger" idea is just slapped on top of everything now because I don't have a good melee weapon, lel.

Thanks for the well wishes. Are the headaches only when it is raining or also when it is dry, do they happen when there are sudden shifts in the weather or humidity? Could be that you are sensitive to sudden barometric pressure changes. If you have any implants or metal in your head from surgery then that could also be affected by pressure shifts.

The distortion of history failed to rouse even a spark of anger in the elder wolf. He was used to this by now. In the calm of the dingy museum, only shadow reigned. Just as there was no flame to salve straining eyes, there was no real history to illuminate the mind. A waste of time, why did the apes even bother to paint a history no one believed? They had much to be proud of on their own, though Mog admitted that only grudgingly.

Time to move on. He lit a torch from his explorer's pack and went to meet up with Ursus.

"What, do you want to lit the whole goddamn place on fire?" Kinny responded, annoyed. How could his candle be so fucking dim? Did it get damp? How COULD it get damp? Or was this place magically dimmed..? "Why is this flame so useless?" The cat squinted at the flame and unknowingly focused his attention on the light...
>Kinny casts Light on the candle out of irritation caused by the impenetrable darkness
If possible.

"Just false history here. Callum is portrayed as righteous, Vitilia a heretic who fabricates idols. Hugo ends up with the good treatment, apparently he used his money to make orphanages. Whether he really did so is a mystery, maybe he just had such good PR that even the apes got fooled, maybe they had good relations. Or maybe he was just a good cat." Mog explained, lazily recounting the plaques falsehoods and his take on their truth value.

He paused for a moment. "...Majorus was reduced to a footnote, the apes say she was the strongest creature to ever live, but that's it. Though they mention her benevolence. I...hrmm...you went to the research section, yeah? Why are the bunny statues in the research storage area? What could they be looking for with the rabbits? Are they interested in magic, did they find something? We should look around more."

In the silence that followed the wolf's musings, Maggie said something inscrutable.

"What's a native American?" Mog asked innocently.

He waited patiently for Maggie to release them from their ignorance. The question of the bunny statues tugged at his mind as well, he still wanted Ursus's thoughts on the matter.

"Hey...now that you mention it, on second thought...I do remember that name! She's the rabbit-knight we saw in the mural, the one who sacrificed herself! I only remember because I was actually alive in days when her name was still known and remembered, some of the few historians who inked her name on paper were my peers back then." Mog exclaimed suddenly.

He explained what he remembered of the great hero of olden times. Mostly just her titles and what they implied people thought of her. When he was done he said "It's odd that her own people didn't leave behind a more detailed history of her, or that the myriad people of the land didn't either, what with all their diverse views. Almost like history was erased. The apes must've found a Relic of hers, or a site that contains a Relic. If we don't have anything else to look for here then we should meet back up with Kinny and see if any of the others can read rabbit. If not then at least we can split up the ape texts to say what they say about what is written."

"Fuck, I didn't mean to literally do that." Kinny squinted at the blinding light, but quickly regained his composure and looked around the room. "Looks like rabbits used this place and someone was here not that long ago." The rogue then turned to the red cat. "Bobby, can you help me search this place for anything of value? Not just value-value, I mean anything magical or something that could shed light at why this place is *seemingly* abandoned." Kinny looked at the rug he was standing on. "And maybe there's a basement under this place? It's not like it can get any more dark than it already is." He shrugged.

"Psst, you could've warned us Adler! Mind filling us in on what is going on? Will they be mad we're intruding on apparently sacred land? Are these rabbits powerful?" Mog whisper-shouted at Adler. There wasn't a lot of time. He needed to know how much danger the group was in. They could help translate the documents, but if these folks would take offence, then he certainly didn't want to repeat the accidental massacre of the cultists. Though he supposed those guys actually deserved it.
>>
>>5808166
>Adler softly spoke softly to the wolf.
"I think I heard of these guys. The druid allowed the rabbits to celebrate the heroes that fell the first dragon or something like that. In return they give us one buck per tribe for them to join us. There's usually about three tribes. But from what I have heard they are mostly peaceful animals that just play loud music."

"Thoughts Kinny? Should we come out of hiding and just talk this out? You and I are good speakers, we can sort this out without violence. We'll lose Maggie in the crowd if we wait too long." Mog murmured over to the smudged shadow on the wall he guessed was Kinny. Hard to tell in the dark building they took cover in. With the cat size and capabilities it'd be hard to find him. For all the wolf knew, Kinny could've actually hidden in some undulation of the terrain outside, or even in the lake itself.

The proposed plan did a couple of turns around the wolf's brain, before the paladin in him won out. "Too complicated. I know you could pull off the lie, but there's no need. If we went with that idea, it'd bring up concerns of how anyone got past the cult and their owlbears, or how we did, or even where they are now. They're apparently peaceful, this is a museum celebrating all the knights, even if it is a distorted history of them. All should be welcome. That lute looks like Old One tech, given what Ursus speculated earlier, I doubt they can even use it. If anything Maggie is that thing's rightful inheritor."

But, we do actually have quite a lot of fresh food for sale. Didn't mean to scare you, just didn't know who was coming. In the meanwhile, we do have something we'd like your help with, if you wouldn't mind."

The wolf let the rest of the pack make their introductions, maybe nodding at Ursus to let him know that he thought it was fine to show them the papers.

Kinny followed suit of the other cats, he stayed on the side and licked his paws in silence. Everyone knew cats were very uninteresting if they so desired and 4 of them just standing in unison formed almost an impenetrable social barrier for anyone who'd try to start a conversation.

"Three silver per serving? No need to be so stingy, good sir! This is a rare occasion, is it not? Don't think you'll find a better deal, Plato just to the south sells fruits for twenty whole silver pieces, forty PER POUND for vegetables, RAW. This is well made chow, and you've got hundreds to feed, and from what I hear, many more to come when the other tribes arrive. Pay us well for our earnest service, you won't regret it." Mog bargained enthusiastically, remembering the cost of ingredients from Plato coming in handy. The suspicion that this rabbit was a cunning operator like Swift aggrieved the elder wolf severely, no doubt he was trying to eat cheaply at their expense!

>Charge significantly more than the raw cost of our ingredients.
>>
>>5808298
>60 silver per fruit dish, 80 for a beef or veggie dish. Times that by however many hundreds arrive and want to eat.

I think they can afford that, like I said, the prices of raw goods at Plato was between 20-40 silver. Plato was stated to be the last town before Canis Lupin and was probably a trading hub with adequate supply from the trade and its own hinterland, the equilibrium price was probably low.

"Over there, that's a cardboard standees of Superman from Superman Lives. That's a VHS copy of Back to the Future starring Eric Stoltz, Benji would never shut up about that film, he really loved that movie. Promotions for Shrek starring Chris Farley, though that was supposed to appear in 2000s, so I'm pretty sure that never got released. Is that a Nintendo Playstation? No way, they are pulling out arcade cabinets?! I mean it would probably be easy for you guys to get this kind of stuff, but wouldn't it all be kind of useless to all you guys?"

"I'm just good at fighting. You gonna play merchant with Bobby? She sounded like she had some scheme or something, mentioned something about statues or something. It'd be a shame to miss the festivities for pocket change though." The elder replied.

>>5813283
"Why's it always the rabbits who know so much about the Old Ones...?" Mog muttered as he wandered between hopping party-goers and rainbow-puking drunkards.

Still, these artifacts deserved a proper museum, and this wasn't the proper place for a permanent one. Perhaps nowhere was. With the current balance of power there might not be a place in the worlds the Factions would not follow in order to distort history and maintain their grip on the cliff's edge. Being on top was a demanding position. Maybe a reinvigorated Canis Lupin would be a safe place, once some victories over the apes had been achieved.

"What...or where, is Tarzan? Your home? I've never heard of-," Mog paused, his old mind taking in what the rabbit had said properly, "Tarzan has lightning powered lights?"

What a shock. Did the rabbit-folk all live in some utopia, some unspoiled bastion of Old One tech or refurbished relics? He was surprised they still lived untouched by the Factions, or that they weren't one of the Factions themselves with such technological prowess.

A familiar voice rang out. Mog turned around.

"Lanesboro..." The junior of the two acknowledged, "...didn't know you were a velveteen rabbit. You're lookin' as young as ever. As Ursus said, we need to ask a favour of you. A simple one, we just need a translator. Unless Ursus has something else in mind."

lol, figures, from the name it should be obvious, but given it wasn't mentioned before and the rabbit is the one telling me it I assumed it was a bunny sanctuary.

"Huh, must've renamed or moved the capital city. Was different back in my day."

~*~

"So you are ancient and eternally young." Mog murmured, confirming it for himself. He bent his head low to accept the headpat. He was beyond feeling patronized, accepting the warm gesture for what it was.

"Yeah, sorry 'bout them, if they were protecting this site from the apes for you guys, then we kinda screwed that over by accidentally killing them all. Frankly they kind of had it coming. Adler lived though." Mog half-apologized, more for the possible inconvenience than any actual regret for having killed them.

Swift's next words jogged the near-senile wolf's memory. He gestured for Ursus to hand over the papers while he thought of what to say next. Eventually he decided to just talk and let himself find the words, murmuring in a low tone "Ursus has the papers, some research from the Ape oppressors regarding Relm, it's in rabbit, we can't read it. That aside, about the forest guardians, do you know anything about their Otter druid, Sage? Or about their supposed Goddess? We found more polymorph rings, some broken in a room with human trappings. We thought it suggest that the druid WAS a human disguising herself as an otter, but Adler says that he's seen the Otter and the 'goddess' talking, led us to a glass tube like you had in your barn, broken, no one inside. Apparently she had green skin and a shard of Nihm embedded in her shoulder or something. Maggie had a huge freak out and said she was an 'experiment gone wrong'. Thought you could shed some light on that, since you seem to know everything and seemed to have set up shop practically next door to her little cult."

Then as an afterthought he added "Oh, and Maggie is doing fine. She almost had a close call due to Kinny dropping one of your lightning daggers, but I kept my oath, sacrificed my shield to keep her safe. Gonna need it repaired, preferably enchanted too. Oh, and she hasn't got the hang of the polymorph rings, her clothes just meld into her or fall off. She's always running around naked."

Adorable nerds (no actual malicious intentions meant)

"...No worries." Mog said. Ursus was ever the lovable bear, awkward and sweet. He supposed it came with being a hardworking, honest farmer. It was kinda awkward though, he coulda just handed them to Swift himself. He must've remembered his awkwardness with the arcade controls, the care he had to take not to damage them. Probably wanted to avoid tearing up the papers or scratch Swift as he handed them off. Not that Mog's dewclaws were any less sharp, at least Ursus had almost human-like paws!
>>
Rolled 3, 18, 89 = 110 (3d100)

>>5813368
Phew.
>>
>>5813368
Mog was even more confused now. "You just let them keep a refrigerated human? I thought you were their shepherd and protector? Why let folk who you aren't fond of keep a human, especially if they are as deranged as the cult? Or are you only concerned with your own charges and no others?"

The wolf waited for the rabbit's answer, but none came. Impatient, the warrior followed up "You never thought to check the refrigerator yourself? I would've thought whatever issue this Nihm was causing would be common knowledge to those in the know, such as yourself. Maggie knew about it, I assumed if you did then you'd want to do something about it, they were right under your nose. At least once you were in Plato."

He felt awkward, pressing Swift like this, but the Elder immortal seemed to have been derelict in his duty. Still, better give space for the rabbit to answer, otherwise Mog would be ranting all day. At least they seemingly confirmed the Otter and the human were different beings now.

By the frozen king that’s a lot of metal
>>
>>5813384
"I almost feel guilty. ALmost" Kinny's eyes were glowing.
>>5813383
The black cat made his way over to Mog and tugged on his paw gently before whispering. "We've just made 220 plat on selling tiny human statues to these rabbits and we still have more."
How much did we make from food? Should I add the money from your sales to Kinny's sheet or will you keep tab on it yourself for now?
>>
>>5813389
>>5813387
The packmaster leaned down to hear the cat's words, murmuring in return after having heard them "219 plat in silver specie on our end from the food sold. A tidy profit all told, mostly at the expense of the cultists."

Keep your coin from the figurine sales on your sheet, maybe split it with Bobby if she wants her cut, since you both stole the figurines from the city. I'll split the 21960 silver with Ursus, straight down the middle. Ursus, take 10980 silver and add it to your sheet.

>They mentioned finding a human
I meant to "never mentioned"! Fuck my autistic mind! How did I fucking miss that?! Oh well, reap what you sow.

>>5813383
"One if I were a shepherd of every human, that would grow suspicion to the other nations that I was bringing humans back. And thanks to an informant I have over there, I know Clayton would take every opportunity to use a human as weapon to destroy the lizards. And it's common knowledge what the lizards will do to the humans. So that's why I am not alone in this operation. I have others who are willing to help. Ask your friends over at Canis Lupin. I'm willing to bet there is one of them that knows about the pods. As for the Nihm stone, they never mentioned that to me. They just said they found a pod and that was it. But one thing is for sure, if Kendra is in fact out of the pod you must find a way to defeat her."
>Lanesboro then went back to his friendly demeanor after all that.
>He then gave the parchment back to Mog and Ursus.
"Other than that I do wish you have fun at the party."
>>5813387
>>5813389
>You now have 22,000 + 21,960 Silver.
>Almost 44,000 Silver or 440 Plat.

>Suddenly the next tribe arrives with more items.
>This one carrying hammers, as if they were always by their side.
>The chief of Velveteen then approaches the Frou Frou tribe.
"Hail Frou Frou!"
"Hail Velveteen!"
>The two tribes then hugged each other as the two tribes continued to set up the party.
>>
>>5813400
"You may as well have said 'you must find a way to defeat a demigod' to me. What did the papers say, by the way?!" Mog verbally pounced on the archmage, he wasn't letting Lanesboro just hop away without telling them what was on the papers.

He glanced askance at the familiarity between the newly arrived tribe and the softies, these newcomers seemed a tad more martial. Wise, but Mog hoped they were as relaxed as the Velveteens.
>>
>>5813400
Before he forgot, Mog followed up with "Oh! And who's your contact in Canis Lupin? I don't want to go through the same cycle of suspecting someone of being a secret slave trader or something like I did with Sean."
>>
>>5813408
>>5813411
"Look for someone named Arsene."
>Lanesboro said as his voice started to sound very distant now.
>As you looked back you could see he was now missing.
"Also haven't finished reading them. Going someplace more calm to."
>Fucking wizards.

>Maggie then went back to the group.
>Stretching a bit after working hard.
"Hey guys, on a break. You know, being a rabbit ain't that bad. Thought everything would be heavy but when you have a bunch of bunnies nearby you can get a lot done. Also helps when all the people saw how I look just like Relm so they just decided to help me out a bit more because of it. So... what have you guys done? I saw Bobby selling statues with her friends, Jenkins is now handling the food, and as for Adler, apparently the chiefs wanted to speak with him."
>>
>>5813400
Btw sorry for the hostility last time I was under the idea that you where a threat to mog kinny and Maggie earlier, I had very little information to go on so this info I’m getting now is very useful also did you know this “goddess” made half tree half gorillas out of the invading apes they where still alive not pleasant

>>
>>5813423
>>5813389
>>5813427
Again, Mog looked confused. He'd given the papers back to them, so how was he going to finish reading them if he didn't have them? Then he checked the papers. Had Swift pulled a sleight of hand on them? Or just copied the papers with magic for his own perusing? Damn shifty rabbit!

Still, no problem, they could just ask any random rabbit to translate the papers for them, it's what they should've done in the first place. He had a feeling this sort of thing would happen if they hung around Swift.

When Maggie came over Mog listened in sullen silence. At least she was having fun, being a bunny suited her he supposed. Adler being brought up got his attention though.

"We were busy making coin, playing the part of merchants. Ursus and I also managed to sneak in a quick arcade game. I better be there for that meeting with Adler, don't want him stirring up a fuss about us killing the cultists." he explained.

Thinking of how to handle the papers, the wolf slowly chased his own tail, going in circles, stepping over Kinny carefully, before stopping and handing Maggie the research papers. "Here, while you're taking your break, find a literate rabbit and ask them to translate. Say you're illiterate and you need them to read it aloud to you. DON'T let them take the papers from you, we need to find out what's on them!"

The girl seemed to have an inroad with the small softies, better make use of it.

He wandered off to go find the chiefs and Adler.
>>
>>5813459
The fixed share was 30%, but that was just for the initial deal for hiring them. We split the initial cash unevenly per our initial agreement, taking into account Ursus and Jenkins as new and our prior 30% deal for Bobby, Ord, and Potato in Plato before agreeing to freely share our cash evenly between all members with all subsequent profits made by the party, but also to carry an individual load of cash so we couldn't lose it all if one of us fell in a pit of lava or were pick-pocketed or something. Or at least that was my reasoning. But this side venture was a thing just between you and Bobby, I think. Not part of the main party's heists or shenanigans with Xenarus/The Factions.
>>
>>5813456
>>5813459
>>5813471
That rolled figure also just works out very cleanly to exactly 50%, which is both amazing and convenient.
>>
>>5813449
"That depends."
>Bobby says as she shows you her share of money.
>Equal to yours.
>22,000 Silver.
>220 Platinum.
"Mind if I keep what I got in this pile of money for now? Sold just as much as you. Still got about 90 statues left. How many do you have? Like 190? I'll see how much I can sell what I have left, then we'll go from there. You still got a lot to sell"
Kinny would you like to try and sell again, if so Roll Persuasion first (DC 12).
>>5813427
>>5813436
>Maggie then comforted the big bear.
"Don't worry big guy, I'm sure whoever you were talking to heard you."
>>5813466
>As Maggie was handed the papers she was clearly confused.
>She was also against the idea of calling herself illiterate either.
>No time for that though.
>Time to visit the chiefs.
>Mog soon found himself spotting Adler with the chiefs.
>Adler then noticed you.
>The look on his face clearly saying, "Oh god please help me, I don't want to be here! I want to fucking die."
"O- oh! Look it is my assistant! Come here my assistant who is much more superior than I am!"
>Adler very awkwardly invites you.

Mog saw what was going on immediately. Figures, they were always going to run into issues with this ruse of theirs. He struggled not to blurt out the truth that they'd killed all the forest guardians and that it was the cult's fault anyways. It'd be so much easier, honestly it was still his fall back plan, but they'd played the part of merchants and it was working out nicely for them, no harm in it either.

May as well play the part so as not to give Adler a heart attack. Releasing the tension in his jaw and stepping forward, he bowed low to Adler. "Green Father Adler, the distribution of vittles has gone well, a tidy profit for trade with the wolves has been accumulated. What do you require of me now, O'mighty Vinehammer, king of all deer, mightiest servant of the great green goddess, Persephone!?"

Okay, he was having fun, laying it on a little thick. Gaia wouldn't appreciate the blasphemies, but Luna, ever the trickster, would. No doubt they'd see through his joking deceptions soon enough. What were those big ears good for if not for detecting lies after all? But, hey, he had to get his chuckles from somewhere. He was sure Adler would see the joy in this eventually anyways, after all, he got to boss Mog around for however long this ruse held. Mog sly way of paying Adler back.

Kinny shrugged. "Might as well." With that, he set out to find a new group of rabbits and play in their desire to have "Felicia Fertility Figures" on their own. This time also trying to spark his targets' jealousy, after having equipped many of the tiny horny fluffballs with figurines of their own.

>The young adult deer then went to Mog and dragged him over to some nearby bushes a good distance away from the chiefs.
"Dammit Mog! Now they think I'm the superior! Now because of you I have to be the one who speaks for the druid! I don't want to test and see how feetile the rabbit does are! I don't know how that works!"
>...
"Okay maybe I should backtrack. These chiefs said they wanted to give a rabbit to the forest guardians because that's what the chiefs and the druid agreed upon right. You should know that from my explanation earlier. Anyways they are usually bucks because the druid usually like bucks, and that's okay, she is allowed to like whoever she wants. But recently she gave a letter to them asking for a rabbit doe. Fertile doe. Now the two chiefs have two does they want me to look at and see if they are fertile enough! I can't do that! I don't even know how to tell if they're fertile! I'm not a doe! And even if they were they have no place to go since we killed the cult, but if they don't send them and thr druid returns she's going to confront the chiefs and they'll say, thanks to you The O'Mighty Vinehammer told me to keep the does and I don't want any of us to become trees! So Mog what do I do?"

"Fee...tile...? Oh! Fertile doe, yes, of course. Ahem, anyways, relax. I was just having a laugh at your expense. we'll just go over there and explain what happened, straight up," Mog let out the wheezing laugh he'd been holding in, dragging Adler around and back towards the chiefs, chuckling and wheezing softly as he went, "Good on you though for not using this opportunity to take advantage of the doe, it speaks to your character. Or maybe you really are just gay, hahaha!"

He dragged Adler over to the two chiefs straight up told them "All that just now was a lie, I was having a laugh. Same with earlier, we aren't merchants. Well...okay, we didn't actually lie about that part, now that I think about it. Ahem, ANYWAYS... we killed all the Forest Guardians, excluding the leaders. Adler here is one of the only survivors. They attacked us unprovoked with their owlbear abominations, then kidnapped us for blowing up the oil barrel THEY left lying around. We escaped and killed them all. Persephone isn't a goddess, just an old one with delusions of grandeur. You're free, you don't have to send the cultists bunny sacrifices to be brainwashed anymore! Hell, if you do, I'll fucking find out and come back and eat every single fucking one of you for your disgusting cowardice! That's it, that's all I have to say, END OF STORY, misunderstanding over, job's done."

With that bombshell dropped, Mog walked a little circle, catching Adler's dumbfounded eyes in a glance as he passed. Then he walked away. Sometimes it paid to be blunt.

"So I'm thinking about marrying her but I think it's wrong. Maybe I am rushing into things."
"Shit! I knew I forgot to bring something! Fermented fruit! Now I got to buy some of those fuckers now!"
"So don't spread this around but I heard someone got Lanesboro to read those documents in the museum. You know. The ones Relm gave Swift. Wonder what it said. I heard it was supposed to be sacred. Kind of interests me to try and read it."
>Once Maggie and Ursus heard that they knew they had their girl!

>>5838383
"The three sacred instruments are something needed to play Relm's favorite song. If it's missing, then we won't be able to play it! Then we'll start blaming each other for who lost it! Then they'll say one of the tribes stole it! Then we'll probably start a war! I don't want us to fight each other! Relm wouldn't want that!!"
>The rabbit said as he was having a panic attack.
>Kind of a huge slippery slope he was doing.
>Probably best to find that bass now.
>>
>>5838401

Excuse me mam Ursus speaks calmly and quietly I couldn’t help but notice your expressed interest in reading some documents that lanesburrogh read involving Relm?

>Once Maggie and Ursus saw the rabbit, she stared up at them.
>She was wearing those spectacles they mentioned earlier.
>She had short brown fur and was wearing a white jacket that clearly belonged to an old one.
>She gave out a greeting smile.
"Hello there big fellow. Well of course you are going to be big. I'm practically the smallest animal out there. Well no that's wrong as well. We still have mice... oh how rude of me. Hello there my name is Caramel. I like looking into history while enjoying the party life as well. Did you know this event was going on for the past 90 years?"
>Maggie then looked at Caramel unsure how to feel.
"Well.... I am pretty sure that it was because Relm really liked to party."
"That's what everyone assumes but... hold on... you look just like her?"
"Excuse me?"
"Relm! You look almost like her! You got her fur pattern, her dress, excuse me."
>She then lifted Maggie's dress.
"You even got the scar on her back... a shame you don't have the jewel on her chest though. You would have been a perfect 1 to 1 clone of her."
"CAN YOU PLEASE PUT MY DRESS DOWN!!"
>A flustered Maggie yells.
"Oh yes. Sorry. Just a real big fan of Relm. So what did you say you wanted my help with?"

>Maggie was pretty sure it would be too simplistic to just say they just went into the building and grabbed them.
>It would sound too silly for her.
"We were just lucky that was all. Plus we had a big tanky guy as well to help get all the traps disarmed."
"Makes sense."
>Caramel then went on to feel up Ursus' muscles.
"With how well built bears are and most of them being descendants of the queen it makes sense. Did you know she mated with several different males. Some not even of her own species."
"I think we want to learn more about the paper Caramel."
"Oh right."
>Caramel then looked over at the parchment.
"Hmmm.... yes.... I am liking what I am seeing. Hey Maggie, you look a lot like Relm so I assume you know a lot about her."
"I... guess?"
"That seemed hesitant but I'll take that as a yes. You know Relm was more of a lover than a fighter at least that's what I came to understand from the things she loved the most. But this document might be the thing needed to prove my theory right. Give me about thirty minutes and I will have a good translation for you."
"Thanks. Is there anyway we can repay you."
"Nude Art of the Old Ones."
".... I'm sorry?"
"I'm just saying if I ever had to take any payment it would nude art of the Old Ones. It's that simple. But no animal I met has ever come across that so that idea is just a pipe dream. So I'll just take ten silver."

Ah, shit. Sorry for vanishing for so long. It took longer than I thought. Seems like Kinny thought there wouldn't be a session today after QM was late, and both The Animal and I had stuff we had to deal with. Are we good for continuing this on Thursday instead, or shall we just wait until our usual Tuesday next week?

"Ah, yep, that is definitely, DEFINITELY bad! Let me just go find my cats and get a search started. Yep, hahaHAHA, yeah, I'll get right on that. Wouldn't wanna start a three way war, now would we?" Mog replied back with a pitch-perfect 'I'm-totally-not-guilty-why-are-you-asking?' tone, torn between wanting to laugh or cry at the consequences of what had started as looting a perfectly good abandoned town of the enemy. An edge of worry crept into his voice as paternal care caused him to remember an old factoid from the past, "Try to calm down though, I heard when rabbits get overly anxious they can suddenly die of heart attacks, like when they get scared. Wouldn't want to lose you now, would we?"

Time to go find Kinny and the rest of his band of thieves.

How do they not know Lanesboro is Swift? An identity switch in the past? Is Lanesboro not really Swift and is just imitating him? I guess this means they are both immortal? Why would Lanesboro be interested in the documents if he was Swift and had already read them, hell why doesn't he already own them or a copy of them? Strange, maybe my initial instincts were right about Lanesboro and Sean. I'm confused.

It was because she had one infected claw. It was supposed to be the one claw but they went ahead and did all her front paws. >After a few more minutes, Caramel then finished writing a decent translation.
"There's a few rough spots here and there but I think I got something. Want to hear it?"
"Yes. We would."
>Maggie replied.
"Alright here goes nothing."

"Dear Swift, I know it's silly that I am writing a letter to you even though we're in the same camp. I know I can't convince the Draconians to live a peaceful life. Not after what the humans have done, but I still wish there was another way we could have end this.

Cornelius draws closer as he evolved into his dragon form thanks to the stone he embedded upon himself. He plans to wipe us all out with his flames if he gets close. But I know that my barriers are stronger than any attack he can produce. So I know you will all be safe.

But if my barriers were to break... I wanted to make sure you somehow know this if something were to happen to me. If I do survive this, I want you to know that I found some. I found some humans frozen in ice. They're still alive and I'm sure they want to be free. So if we make it out of this alive this is where I want us to go."

>There were then coordinates.
>To a specific location.
>It was directly at where Xana should be.

"I'm sure we could build a city around it. One like the humans used to have. Once they woke up they would feel welcomed and they would see us as equals. Then maybe they can finally fulfill that promise they made. They can turn us into humans... maybe then we could finally get married.

But who am I kidding. I know we got this. Cornelius won't be able to break my shield. Dr Faris said my barrier was impenetrable. But who knows maybe we can look back at this and laugh at it together along with our children.

Swift I'll always love you and Terra. No matter what happens.
-Love Relm"

>Caramel was then finished with the letter.
".... Okay I know who Swift is and I believe Terra also died in the battle... but what the fuck is a human?"

>>
>>5838616
Well the old ones called themselves humans and the old ones where at war with the draconians in order to survive or at least that was what we know so far, this note raises serious questions about what our hero’s knew and what they didn’t, what did humans do or at least the dragons claims they did this piece should be protected.
From the conflict between both draconians and humans I believe there could possibly have been crimes committed on both ends this might also explain why lizards continue to claim the old ones where untrustworthy because they themselves probably met dragons
>>
>>5838616

'Damn, the Kinmeister is so sneaky, I just can't find him in this crowd. The perfect cover for him, I suppose. Wouldn't be surprised if he was helping himself to the rest of the small folk's unspent silver.' Mog thought to himself as he ambled his way through the crowd.

At least the rabbits knew to give him space. Through the flattened brush between the slope of the forest and the lakeside, down the old wooden walkway, past previously empty houses now hosting horny and intoxicated rabbits, up to the clearing where all the big buildings were. May as well have a drink at the saloon. Hopefully they had a decent ale, he couldn't take the wine everyone loved to import. No aspersions on the sweet-toothed, it just gave him the shits.

Mog looked alarmed for a second. How did the rabbit know about the ring, how did she know Maggie was a human?! He panted, bringing his rapid breathe down to slow inhale-exhale, his heart slowing to predatory calm. The group probably just told this girl in order to earn her trust and get her to translate, or she just had good intuition.

Still..."You sure that's a good idea Maggie, we're in a crowded place, and you're pretty big. You might end up stepping on some of the small folk. Not to mention the shock of seeing a proper Old One in the flesh isn't an everyday sight. Why don't you keep it on? We're among friends, we don't need to fight anytime soon."...he'd better offer some sage advise to the baby having her first sip of the earth's bounty.

The strange rabbit blurted out some nonsense that rocked Mog's old bones and made the world spin like he was already drunk. What the fuck kind of nonsense letter was that?

Ah, take care. We can go slow if you're tired. It's a slow session anyways.

"Well, we know how that ended for Relm. Guess she was overconfident. Still, now we know how it all began I guess. Strange to know that humans lived among the elders in the age of heroes, assuming that this 'Dr.Faris' is a human. Personally I have no desire to become a squishy, icky, furless human. No offence Maggie, your countenance may be noble, but I'm not looking to become a pretty ape." Mog commented when Ursus was done recounting the translation.

He stopped lapping at his drink suddenly and swallowed hard, the aroma flooding his oversensitive snout with a chemically smell more fitting for a sewage plant than Gaia's finest beverage. They say smell was 80% of taste, or something like that. This didn't go down easy.

"Yo, barkeep, can I get some ice with this, pack the glass full!" The wolf waved at the rabbit. It was super uncultured to take his whiskey with ice, but Goddess, he needed to tamp down the flavour of this lizard piss. He guessed the local cask never got exported for a reason, it must be a purely local taste, Mog doubted any self respecting connoisseur would ever acquire a liking to whatever hell brew was made in the local witches cauldron.

Turning back to his friend, he continued "Not sure I buy this thing about the humans doing bad stuff first to those demonic monsters, but I'm super biased for obvious reasons, and if there's one thing I've learned in years of battle, it is that there are many dimensions to the nature of the beast we try and fit into the label 'war'. Still, whatever bad the humans did in the past, the dragons have proven their evil in the current day, all I have to offer them is blood and steel. Until they prove me wrong, that is what I'll believe. The lizards will remain in the elder wyrm's thrall forever otherwise, unless we free them from their blind cynicism of the past, the source of their rabid anarchism and curse upon the future generations."

Maybe he was just being stubborn and set in his ways, a hindrance on future peacemakers and the younger generations, a warhawk bringing doom closer to his people. But he'd be damned before he made peace with the overgrown reptiles. The lizards...well, maybe there was some talk to be had, once the dragons were dead.

"What do you think Ursus? Maggie, Bobby?" he put his opinion out to the group, now time to get their take, he glanced around, looking for a mirror for his beliefs, aware of it, yet hoping to hear an echo all the same.

qyute, kyute!

Lucky too, I'm jealous. No feline friends on my end, our last cat passed away when I was quite young.

Well Maggie has been quite nice but humans are people just like us
individuals are smart polite reasonable, groups of people are scared irrational and paranoid and this is between two races at war not to mention while Maggie is smart, in war it is extremely rare for a soldier to know the whole picture
What are your opinions on this Maggie
>Ursus Profers the karaf to mog and Maggie
>>
>>5846699
As for possible peace between us and dragons it’s really up to figuring out the full picture of dragon civilization, if their government is the only agressive party then it should be removed uprooted and replaced with a more sane government if the whole of their species are bastards that need to be taught civility from violence then they might be a lost cause my only qualm with killing them is avoiding harming children and those truly innocent and ignorant in their civilization

"I can speak to the good nature of the lizards away from their masters. Honestly, my talk of them being in thrall of the dragons kinda denies them their own agency. They choose to be the violent pyromaniacs that they are, but their fire fetish and their demonic alien leaders aside, I actually hate them the least of the three big Factions. No pun intended with the cold blooded and all, but lizards are actually pretty chill most of the time, especially expatriates. Their chip on the shoulder is between them and the Old Ones, we're just caught in the way, the future and the past. While I of course hate the demons from the Outer Dark the most, of the earthly creatures that grace the Goddess's flesh I hate the apes the most. Comes with fighting them my entire life I guess, a natural reaction, lofty ideals aside, people hate those they fight, especially when you destroy cultures and slaughter innocents en mass like the ugly monkey's do under Clayton." Mog chimed in response to Ursus.

>>5846710
"You're drunk, kit. Kinny's not here."

A shrill wail interrupted whatever Mog was going to say next, he immediately flattened his ears against his head and sank beneath to table to hide, so awful was the sound coming from the machine. It brought back traumatic memories of the sonic weapon used by the hellbot in the bowels of the Xenarus vault. The nearly deaf wolf scrunched up and let out a howl to try and drown out the awful racket.

"Thanks. I didn't want to relive the torment we went through just before we met you." Mog said after a long moment of looking around to confirm the screeching had stopped.

He turned to the bar again. "Yo, barkeep, what's the hold up? Can I get my ice?"
>>
>>5846720

>Lucky that Ursus was fast to react after she went through the first chorus.
>Still not the best song they should have listened to.
>Honestly, it was amazing that humans could come up with such an annoying yet catchy song.
>Hopefully it didn't appear everywhere when they went.
>Especially hidden when they least expected it.
>That would truly be annoyin-
>Wait why is it still going?!
>It should have stopped by now!
>Holy shit it's still going!
"WOOHOO! KEEP GOING MAGGIE!"

"YOUR ICE SIR! PLEASE STOP YOUR FRIEND BEFORE WE ALL GO DEAF!"
>>
>>5846735
Give me that Ursus attempts to pull the device out of her paws
>>
>>5846735
The old timer slammed his drink down his throat while plugging his nose with his paw to kill the pain. "Not my machine, not my problem! I'm not paying for the sound enhancer thingy if we end up breaking it in the process of stopping her. Better yet, I'll let you handle it, it's your establishment after all! Hyuk-hyuk-hic!"

Then he went right back underneath the table to wait out the storm of sound. What he would give for a pair of Kinny's looted earmuffs.

>Maggie asks.
"I was killin it out there! Didn't ya hear all the ladies and gents screaming out there for me?"
>A somewhat Sober Bobby then chimed in.
"Yeah they weren't cheering for you lady. Those were screams of terror. Rightfully so. I'm surprised your own ears haven't popped from what you just sang."
>Bobby then went on to take Maggie from Ursus.
"I'll take care of Maggie. You two do what you need to do."

"Thanks Bobby, we're all lucky Ursus is so dexterous, especially for a big guy." Mog groaned from underneath the table. At least some good music was finally playing.

The not-quite sauced paladin propped his front paws up on the bar, his bones creaking from the strain. May as well try his luck again. "Hey, barkeep, gimme an ale. The whiskey wasn't to my taste I'm sorry to say, lets see what else you got."

Sweeping a paw through his fur and straitening out his ears, Mog turned to Ursus as if to say 'how do I look'?

When his preening was done he said "Hey, Ursus, you ever try mead? Not to play into stereotypes, but it's sweet, got honey and other stuff in it usually, it might be right up your alley. Maybe if it is to your taste you can see if they have any. Honestly, I forgot where we were in our conversation, I think it was mostly over anyways. Was still waiting on Bobby and Maggie for their opinion, but at least one of them is sauced and the other is keeping her company, so...yeah."
>>
>>5846797
>>5846776
Mog shrugged, then waved off the bartender. "If you feel up to it in your state. I was thinking of having a few more drinks, sharing a few stories, talking a bit, y'know. But you're right, it wouldn't be the same without Kinny anyways, and that deer gets into trouble when we aren't around, better fetch him. Plus, we still haven't visited the mill."
>>
>>5846802
Yes I have, the stuff is quite sweet although rather pricey for good reason of course although I have heard of people up north attempting to domesticate the hives with these massive wooden bee hive boxes, apparently they where based off of old one designs although that’s probably just a rumor

>>5846809
You guys want to stop for now?
I think we should in fact wait for Kinny. Maybe postpone for Thursday if possible?
>>
>>5846816
If that’s what everyone else wants then I’m cool with stopping I’d rather not just leave kinny out of this and hey we had some character introspection so this was fun
>>
>>5846809
"Down south in a place called Windy Vale, which is exactly as it sounds by the way, there are giant bumblebees. Kinny got his bum stung by one. It's strange, the Nihm changed us, made us thinking animals. It changed our bodies to be able to use tools, it changed the bugs and the insects too. Yet they stick to their own, they are as far as I've seen universally hostile to us mammals. The nightmare stuff of children's books, the bad guys in every story that everyone can get behind as a neutral 'enemy of all'. Yet they have their own society surely, their own perspective. I wonder what's different for them, why Nihm didn't neuter their impulses and make them more open to talk with the rest of us, maybe I just haven't met a nice bug yet." Mog mused, not really sure how he felt about someone 'domesticating' a supposedly sapient creature.

Working his noggin he tried imagining the lizard's grievances with the humans of ages past. He could envision it, being 'tamed' by a human that considered himself his master and hating and chafing at it, but it was abstract and elusive, the imagining of something that had never been. Still, it helped him put himself in the lizard's place, if only for a moment.

Maybe that is why the bees waged war on all mammals, why the grasshoppers became locusts and ravaged the fields like those Ursus tended to. Maybe mammals became the new humans and the insects were like the lizards rebelling against the tyrants they saw Mog's kind as.

He shared his thoughts with Ursus on their way out the door.

>>5846816
It is a bit slow today without Kinny, and hard to continue. But I'm not sure when Kinny will be well. If he is sick enough that he doesn't feel like participating today, then I'm not sure what a couple of days rest will do. I'm good to continue today, Thursday, or whenever either way though. It's up to him to let us know when he'll be good to go. If not then I guess we'll assume that he'll be ready by Tuesday and hope for the best. Shit happens though, may as well let him get his rest, you all seem sick, even I had a strep throat scare a few days ago, though thankfully it was nothing.
>>
>>5846859
Indeed the sins of the father haunting the sins of his children personally slaver should be viewed as destructive abs morally wrong besides I’m pretty sure at the time we where little more than beast before nihm, once humanity finally gets back on its legs they will relize we have become people and they will iether accept that or simmer in silence as we rebuild civilization in our own way learning from them
>>
>>5846872
That’s supposed to say immoral auto correct is annoying on my phone
>>
>>5846872
"True, we are the Old Ones of our age. We carry the legacy of the Humans, Draconians, and our own peoples together into the future, and someday some future generations will look back at us like we do at the humans from the time when they ruled the earth like gods. For better or worse, the future belongs to us before anyone else. We have inherited the earth." Mog waxed on, feeling vaguely philosophical.
>>
>>5846881
Well said
>>
>>5846453
Are you well enough to make it for a session tomorrow (Thursday from my timezone, not Friday, to be clear), or should we hold off for our regular session on Tuesday? No rush if you aren't feeling up for it, it seems everyone is sick anyways. Just want to make sure we are all on the same page.
>>
>>5846453
You okay there buddy?
>>
>>5848843
To be fair to him, I wouldn't really expect him to respond at this time. He would've been asleep during the time I posted, as he's like 9 hours ahead of me timezone wise, so it's like 6 AM for him right now, I think. I should've asked earlier, but I've been kinda out of it all day myself. Unfortunately for me I ended up picking up a cough part way through the day.
>>
Sorry for being late.
How's everyone holding up?
>>
>>5849332
My cough is worse. Otherwise I'm fine. Since no one seems to have shown up I guess we'll delay to Tuesday? Maybe even the next Tuesday after that depending on how sick we all are.

I'll archive this thread later today. Hope you all have a good week and get well.

Also, hope your wall finally gets fixed QM!
