Do you like drama and business management? Then come here!

You are Im Hyeonwoo, the second son of the chairman of Im Group, one of the most prominent entertainment companies in Korea. In the eyes of your father, however, you are deemed a disappointment. In every aspect, whether it's academics, sports, or even your personality, you're just... average. It's a far cry from your older brother, Im Yeongho, who excels at everything he touches. He is a shining star, an exemplary student who graduated from Harvard a year ahead of schedule. Moreover, he's an exceptional athlete, displaying his talents in track and field running. Not to mention, as the CEO of Im Group, he holds the title of one of the youngest CEOs in all of Korea.

You stand in your father's office, feeling the weight of his disappointment lingering in the air. After returning from the USA, where you struggled tirelessly to earn your master's degree in business, you find yourself standing in the Im Business Center, the heart of the family company.

Your father's frustration reaches its peak as he slams his hand down on his desk, causing a sharp echo to reverberate through the room. His eyes, filled with frustration, lock onto yours.

"Enough is enough! You need to take control of your own life, Hyeonwoo. I've done all I can for you, but I can't keep holding your hand forever. It's time for you to stand on your own two feet."

His voice is firm, each word delivered with a resounding weight that makes your heart sink. "That's why I'm giving you one last chance, Hyeonwoo. I've decided to create a company specifically for you: HW Entertainment. I've assembled a team of personnel who were let go from Im Group. It's now your responsibility to make something remarkable out of this opportunity."

You raise an eyebrow, a hint of skepticism coloring your response. "Abeoji, you mentioned that the personnel you're providing for HW Entertainment are those who were let go from Im Group. Does that mean they were fired? How can I possibly succeed with a team of supposedly incompetent personnel?"

He leans forward, his gaze unwavering as he lays out the ultimatum, "That’s your problem. You have one year. One year to build up HW Entertainment and achieve commercial success. Show me that you can make a difference, that you're not a failure.” He pauses. “To help you get started, I will grant you an entire floor of the Im Business Center for your business, completely rent-free. It's a prime location that will give HW Entertainment visibility and prestige. Additionally, I have arranged for you to manage two older idols who have fallen out of popularity. You will have a chance to revive their careers and generate income through various avenues."

The challenge seems daunting: managing idols is a delicate task.

"And finally," your father adds, "I expect you to swiftly recruit talented trainees and assemble a new idol group. Within a year, this group should be operational, ready to captivate audiences and secure a solid position in the industry."

As he concludes his previous statement, your attention is momentarily drawn to the young woman standing behind him. She is dressed elegantly in a tailored suit, exuding an air of sophistication. Her dark, flowing hair cascades down her shoulders, framing a face adorned with delicate features.

Your father gestures towards her, introducing you to the unexpected presence. "Hyeonwoo, meet Kim Minji. She used to be your brother's secretary."

He explains that her incompetence led to her being fired after one week. She struggles with organizational skills, has a tendency to be forgetful, and is occasionally clumsy. In fact, she can’t even make coffee properly. Although she had her shortcomings, she is fluent in English and Chinese, so he hopes you can make good use of her.

As you step out of the imposing building, Kim Minji trails closely behind you. Her voice carries a hint of uncertainty as she addresses you, "Where are we going, daepyonim?"

"Oh, you're still there? Stop following me. You're fired."

Her eyes widen in terror, and she pleads desperately, "Please, I really need this job. Please, give me a chance." Bowing deeply, she keeps her head lowered in a gesture of submission and genuine remorse.

A brief pause ensues as you contemplate her words. Maybe she could be useful, at least for one day. Relenting, you finally respond, "Fine, I'll give you a chance. I'll be quite busy today, so you'll be in charge of the company's business."

Relief washes over her face as gratitude fills her voice, "Thank you, daepyonim. I will not disappoint you."

Her hopeful gaze fixates on you, awaiting further instructions. "You may go," you dismiss her with a casual hand gesture.

As the afternoon turns to evening, you take a leisurely stroll through the lively streets of Busan, soaking in the bustling atmosphere. Later, you head to the movies for some entertainment and then, as night falls, you make your way to Heukjangmi, an upscale club frequented by wealthy businessmen and celebrities. You reserve a private KTV room exclusively for yourself and five hostesses. Here, you let loose, singing, dancing, and enjoying yourself to the fullest.

At 10 PM, Kim Minji calls you. "Daepyonim, it's already 10 PM. Would you like a report on today's activities?"

Your response comes out in a slurred manner, your words stumbling. "Yeah, that won't be necessary. I kinda don't care."

Concern laces Kim Minji's voice as she presses further, "Daepyonim, are you drunk? Should I come to pick you up?"

"Eh, stop nagging. You're annoying."

Without giving her a chance to respond, you abruptly hang up. The night stretches on, and by midnight, you stumble out of the club in a state of intoxication. Each bottle of champagne, with its exorbitant price tag of over ₩1,000,000, might seem like a reckless indulgence. However, the fun you had outweighs the cost. Without an apartment to go to, you find yourself sleeping in a side alley.

On the one hand, props to you, QM, for actually going through with the write-in instead of just throwing it out. On the other hand, Im Hyeonwoo being a disappointment in his father's eyes is not an unfair assessment by this point. I don't see HW Entertainment lasting long unless Im Hyeonwoo gets very lucky.

That's fine. Im Hyeonwoo is a loser from the beginning, but has a chance to build the company from the bottom up. The quest difficulty will be high, however. So, there will be strong consequences for poor choices.

The following morning, you dedicate your time to apartment hunting, determined to secure a suitable living space. After a series of searches, you stumble upon a penthouse that surpasses your expectations, conveniently located just a five-minute walk away from the office. This exquisite penthouse offers a luxurious haven with its spacious layout, panoramic views, and a monthly rent of ₩5,000,000.

In the afternoon, you make your way to the office and step into your personal workspace, only to find it somewhat smaller than anticipated for a CEO, but nonetheless functional and well-equipped. Secretary Kim Minji greets you with a comprehensive report, presenting the data she diligently collected about the company's current status and progress.

>Starting capital: ₩800,000,000
>Investors: Im Group [the family’s company], Vanguard Ventures, and Stellar Invest
>Personnel: 10 employees and 1 secretary
>Idols: Yoo Hyanggi (male) and Park Hyejin (female)

“Based on my observations, Yoo Hyanggi specializes in captivating audiences with his heartfelt romantic ballads, which have garnered immense popularity among older women. He had a falling out with your brother, the CEO of Im Group, resulting in his demotion to our company as a form of punishment. On the other hand, Park Hyejin, a 46-year-old veteran singer, has endured numerous scandals and underwent extensive surgery. Although her heyday was two decades ago, she still exhibits remarkable talent as both a singer and dancer.”

You thank her for the thorough report, appreciating her analytical skills despite any perceived clumsiness. Pausing for a moment, you cast a second glance at her, carefully observing her from head to toe. Noticing her high heels, pencil skirt, and meticulously styled hair, it becomes evident that she has put considerable effort into her appearance.

"You know, being a secretary isn't that hard of a job. Anyone could do it," you remark, your tone dripping with condescension.

Kim Minji's expression shifts, a mix of surprise and uncertainty crossing her face. "I understand, daepyonim. Thank you for giving me the opportunity," she responds, her voice tinged with resignation.

A sly smile graces your lips as you lean back in your chair, enjoying the power dynamic. "If you want to show your gratitude, Kim Minji," you say, your voice taking on a commanding tone, "you should show it to me."

Her eyes widen, a flicker of surprise and curiosity shining through. "How?" she asks, her voice wavering slightly.

"Well, first of all, I think your skirt is too long. It doesn't look very professional, right?" you comment, your voice critical.

Kim Minji's eyebrows furrow in confusion. "What do you mean, sir? I put a lot of effort into looking professional," she responds defensively.

"How about you take it off and we consider the possibilities?"

"I'm sorry, sir, but that request is highly inappropriate," she firmly asserts, her voice filled with conviction. "You should know, I've recorded this conversation. "From now on," Kim Minji asserts firmly, her voice resolute, "you're going to treat me with respect and give me a decent salary!" Her words hang in the air, charged with a newfound confidence and assertiveness, but you can't help but notice the traces of timidity lingering beneath her resolute exterior.

Conducting an extensive audition with your secretary’s help, you delve into the talents of the idols, having them sing their songs, showcase their dance skills, and act out scenes from popular K-dramas. Surprisingly, the older idols display a notable amount of talent. Even Kim Minji, despite being from a younger generation, finds Yoo Hyanggi charismatic. You, on the other hand, find him arrogant and vexing, as he persistently demands water and continually asks Kim Minji to adjust his suit.

After the audition, you make your way to your father's office, feeling a sense of trepidation. As you enter and take a seat in front of his desk, you notice his frustration. He swiftly slides a set of high-quality photos across the desk towards you. The images depict you exiting the Heukjangmi club late at night and even sleeping on the street.

"I've been waiting for you to come to me," he exclaims. "You haven't been conducting yourself as a CEO should. I've heard rumors that your secretary is the one running the business. Should I consider replacing you with her?"

You lower your head in shame. "Abeoji, I came here to discuss a different matter..."

"What is it this time?" he says, a touch of impatience in his voice.

"I must admit that I've acted inappropriately towards my secretary... and she has recorded my behavior."

Suddenly, your father rises from his chair, and he slaps you loudly across the face, the sound resonating through the room.

"You are worthless. What does she want from you? Money?"

"She's requesting to be treated with respect and to receive a fair salary."

Your father chuckles, a mix of derision and disappointment in his voice. "You're a fool. Just give her what she wants. And do not disappoint me any further. Consider this your final chance.”

"But I don't even know how much she gets paid.”

"CHECK WITH HR AND GET OUT OF MY OFFICE!" he yells, his anger boiling over.

Arriving at the office the following day at 10 AM, you are greeted by Kim Minji, who presents you with a cup of coffee. As you take a sip, you quickly realize that she has once again failed to meet your request for one sugar, serving you a cup of black coffee instead.

"Daepyonim," she informs you, "the employees have been promoting our idols online, but with limited success. Additionally, our IP addresses have been shadow banned from pingkeu.net/p/kpop."

"That's alright. I have a new project in mind for our idols. Please schedule an appointment with them for this afternoon. Also, drive me to Heukjangmi."

Your father has allowed you to use one of the company's BMW sedans, as long as it’s for business purposes. Kim Minji takes the wheel and drives you to Heukjangmi, the club where you had previously gotten drunk. Instructing her to wait in the car, you proceed to meet with Park Junho, the club owner, who also happens to be a mobster. You enlist the assistance of two hired thugs for the evening.

***

In the afternoon, you gather the idols in your office, with Kim Minji standing silently behind you.

"It's evident that you haven't been able to garner much popularity among fans. Furthermore, the fact that you were downgraded to our company is not favorable news."

Yoo Hyanggi interjects, his tone defensive, "I still have thousands of loyal fans! I was only demoted because of a conflict with your brother."

"Well, it would serve you well to think twice before getting into a fight with a chaebol. Fortunately, I have plans to expand our business ventures, which will present you with an opportunity in another country."

Perplexed, Yoo Hyanggi questions, "What do you mean by another country'?"

"I am sending the two of you to Japan."

Adult videos are illegal in Korea, so you'll have to send them to Japan if they are to work in the adult industry. Yoo Hyanggi may not be of much use in that industry, but there could be some mild interest in Jenica.

At 6 PM, you request Kim Minji to drive you to her house, stating your intention to meet her family, as part of your effort to treat her with greater respect. She resides in a wooden house of the Gamcheon Village and the two hired thugs are standing in front of the door, armed with wooden sticks.

"Let's get inside!"

Confused and concerned, Kim Minji asks, "What's going on? Who are they?"

"Just get inside."

You leave the thugs outside and step into the living room. The space exuded an air of simplicity, adorned with minimalistic furnishings that radiated warmth and comfort. As you take in the surroundings, a high school student named Kim Sunhwa introduces herself as Kim Minji's sister, wearing a bright smile that reflects her cheerful disposition.

Turning to Kim Minji, you lock eyes with her. "There are two possibilities here," you state firmly. "Either we all go to a delicious hot pot restaurant, drink soju, and enjoy each other's company.”

You take a step closer to her, your voice lowered to a whisper, “Or things take a turn for the worse—really, really ugly."

"Hot pot? That sounds absolutely fantastic!" her sister exclaims.

You step into the lively ambiance of the hot pot restaurant alongside Kim Minji, Kim Sunhwa, and the two thugs. As the aromatic food sizzles in the pot, you engage in conversation, although tension hangs in the air.

Kim Sunhwa's incessant inquiries about your plans for the company leave you somewhat flustered, struggling to provide coherent answers. The thugs, displaying their lack of refinement, fail to contribute meaningfully to the discussion. Meanwhile, Kim Minji, fueled by her consumption of an entire bottle of soju, quickly succumbs to inebriation.

Sensing an opportunity, you place a hand on her thigh, and to your surprise, she doesn't resist. In a hushed tone, you whisper, "There's no need to resist. You belong to me now."

She retorts sharply, "I have no interest in arrogant, unethical, rich boys."

Suddenly, she leans in and kisses you. Kim Sunhwa swiftly intervenes, pulling Kim Minji away. "Minji, it seems you've had enough to drink. Let's go back home," she declares, her voice tinged with concern.

A few days later, and you’re in Tokyo. Leaving the idols in their hotel room, with only one room booked due to "budget constraints", you make your way to the office of Phantom Eizou's CEO. The office is impeccably clean, and if you didn't know the nature of the man's business, you would mistake him for a regular CEO. Since your secretary only speaks English and Chinese, you have hired an interpreter to facilitate the conversation.

"So, you've mentioned in your email that you have two idols you want to work with us," the old man says. "I've done some research on them, and I must say, they don't seem particularly intriguing. Moreover, our exposure to the Korean market is limited."

He brings up the pingkeu.net post, highlighting the lack of recognition for Jenica. You curse silently under your breath.

"For a movie featuring Jenica, we can offer you 180,000 JPY. As for Yoo Hyanggi, he simply doesn’t spark out interest, and we can only offer 27,750 JPY, nothing more."

"That's not as much as I had expected to make," you mutter under your breath. In fact, it would barely cover the cost of the plane tickets. However, considering the lack of response from the other companies you reached out to, it's probably the best offer you can get.

Report – Capital

Our capital is depleting rapidly because we have no viable source of income. In light of this situation, I strongly recommend allocating 80% of our capital towards strategic investments, as we do not require immediate liquidity. One potential avenue is to consider purchasing shares of Im Group, considering our company's interdependence with them. Alternatively, investing in a KOSPI 200 ETF, which represents the most commonly traded stocks, could be a prudent choice. Leveraging our investments would expose us to both double gains and double losses compared to the regular index, giving a chance for our company to be profitable.

Report – Personnel

Our employees have recently been fired from their positions at Im Group and are currently on a one-month contract with HW Entertainment. Additionally, as the CEO, you have yet to personally introduce yourself to them. This lack of engagement has significantly affected personnel morale, which, in turn, may adversely impact their overall performance. It is strongly advised that you take measures to improve employee morale.

After your visit to the JAV company, you make your way to a rundown massage parlor. Kim Minji expresses her disagreement, stating that recruiting from such places is unlikely to yield talent, and suggests holding a formal public audition instead. However, you dismiss her comments, confident in your decision.

The main room is dimly lit, with worn-out furniture and a lingering smell of stale oil in the air. You hand your business card to the owner, who seems uninterested, and ask to meet the girls for a quick audition. The owner lazily claps his hands, and five girls hesitantly shuffle into the room. Their stature is mostly short, and they don't possess the beauty you had hoped for.

"You, undress," you command, pointing at the first girl.

The owner raises an eyebrow. "Why do you want them to undress?"

"I need to check if they have any diseases or defects."

Kim Minji seems annoyed with your request. "You're not a doctor, so how can you tell if they have a disease at a glance?"

"Don't be jealous, agassi," you reply with a smug tone. "I'll make the same request to you later."

In reponse, her cheeks flush with a hint of embarrassment.

On Monday, you awaken in Miss Kim Minji's bed in Busan, Korea, her head resting on your torso. The memories from last night's soju-fueled escapade remain hazy, but you both find yourselves completely unclothed. As she notices your presence, she hastily covers herself with the bed sheet.

"Why are you here again?" she questions, her tone cautious.

"I don't know, it was you who invited me inside last night.”

"I don't think it's appropriate for a boss and his secretary to have a relationship," she states, concern etched on her face.

In fact, your memory of the intimate details remains shrouded in the fog of the soju-induced haze. Uncertainty lingers as to the extent of your involvement with her. While you recall her kissing you, the specifics remain elusive. Recalling her previous remark, "I have no interest in arrogant, unethical, rich boys," you respond:

"I don't believe we're in a relationship. I have no interest in timid, conformist, poor girls."

>Cancel your penthouse’s lease and move in with her
>Keep your penthouse

You and Kim Minji dress swiftly and make your way to the office. It’s 8:00 AM in the morning, a departure from your college days when noon was your typical waking hour. When you arrive, you gather the employees together. Scanning the room, you catch sight of a woman who has made an effort with trendy attire and excessive makeup.

“Hello, everyone. I am Im Hyeonwoo, your CEO. Thank you for being here today. Our company, HW Entertainment, is a reflection of my commitment to its success, with 'H' for Hyeon and 'W' for Woo. Together, our goal is to build a thriving idol group. Over the weekend, we embarked on a business trip and I am pleased to announce that we have successfully recruited a Japanese idol to join us.”

Taking a brief pause, you continue, "Today, we will be embarking on a team-building trip. Unlike my father, I don't intend to be an insufferable tyrant. So, let's all have a great time together, everyone.

You follow Kim Minji's lead as she takes you to a coach reserved for the day's activity. After a short 30-minute drive, you arrive at a large building that is hosting a paintball war game with a zombie survival theme. The atmosphere is scary and immersive, and everyone is divided into two teams, working together to fend off the undead. As you navigate through the game, running from zombies, you and Kim Minji find yourselves separated from the rest of the group. In a moment of panic, you both seek refuge in a nearby closet, huddled close together, heartbeats racing.

"You know the rules. When you and I are alone, you must undress," you state firmly.

She hesitates for a moment, her fingers trembling as they reach for the buttons of her shirt. Her gaze shifts uneasily, betraying apprehension. She reluctantly begins to unbutton her shirt, her delicate fingers fumbling slightly with each button. The room falls silent, save for the sound of her unsteady breath. A slight blush tinges her cheeks as she exposes more of herself, revealing the curves of her upper body and the contours of her firm breasts.

"Is that really necessary? We're in the middle of a game.”

You hear voices approaching, and she hastily buttons up her shirt, concealing the moment's intimacy. Reluctantly, you both rejoin the game, finding some enjoyment in it, although your team's eventual loss leaves you feeling irritated.

The afternoon is spent at a serene spa, enjoying revitalizing treatments and basking in the tranquil ambiance. It appears that your employees had a good time overall. Despite Kim Minji's clumsiness and forgetfulness, she demonstrates strong management and analytical skills. The team-building trip she organized was a success, and her reports consistently reflect her competence and efficiency.

A week has passed, and your employees have been preparing for the audition, while you collaborated with a social worker to find girls from the Women's Shelter who display potential talent. On the following day, your assembled team stands before you in your office. Despite the Thai woman’s sensuality and captivating allure, you have chosen Kazuki Kokoro, Park Jiwoo, Choi Miyeon, and Park Jieun to be part of your idol group. Each member has willingly signed a comprehensive 7-year contract, outlining the terms and conditions as follows:

>In the first year, they will undergo extensive training, and you will provide them with lodging and meals.
>The contract includes a hefty cancellation penalty of ₩150,000,000, which is, of course, an unpayable amount for them.
>When they secure job opportunities, HW Entertainment will retain 97% of the income generated, with the remaining 3% being distributed among the group members.

Although this type of contract has draw criticism from the fandom and is labeled as a "slave contract", it is actually a common practice for small entertainment companies. However, concealed within the contract, you have included a more sinister clause:

>Any member who fails to meet performance expectations will be transferred to the video division and assigned to work alongside Phantom Eizou in their regular production line. >>5687065

You've been giving your secretary some space, and when you asked her about going on a date, she declined, expressing her fatigue and the desire to rest at home. As a result, you've been spending your rest of the week at the bar or the arcade, leaving the day-to-day affairs to your personnel.

It's Monday 27th, and Kim Minji enters your office, carrying your morning coffee. You take a sip and then inquire about the performance of the ETF.

"The share value has been declining, and it is now 2.1% lower than our purchase price," she informs you.

Upon hearing this, anger rises within you. "Why are we losing money? I thought we were going to make a fortune from this investment!"

Calmly, Kim Minji responds, "Daepyonim, it's important to understand that fluctuations in the stock market are normal. Further, investing always carries a certain level of risk, and there is a possibility of losing money.”

>Quickly sell your shares, before they lose more value

“Choi Miyeon."

You immediately call for Kim Minji to return. "Kim Minji! Why wasn't I informed about this important event!"

Perplexed, you inquire, "What? Whose eyes?"

"My husband's. You’ve seen him. He was here in the office, on the day of the audition.”

"What? There were no males at the audition. Our company is only recruiting female trainees."

"Daepyonim," Kim Minji interjects, "I believe she may be experiencing hallucinations and seeing an imaginary person. As you remember your blind date, you say, "Coach Jung Jiwon, I have an appointment and I don't have time to handle this issue. Check if there are cameras in this office, or if she has a pet."

"Erm... Me?" he answers, surprised.

Now that you think about it, you haven't noticed if there are cameras around, but you don't like the idea of it because your father could use them to spy on you. You remember that old fox taking photos of you when you were drunk.

"Yes, you. If there are cameras, get them removed and bring them to Choi Miyeon."

You walk to your office with Kim Minji, the familiar sound of her heels clicking on the floor behind you. As she adjusts your necktie, she apologizes for forgetting to remind you about your date.

"Allow me to give you a short debriefing about Ahn Haeun, your date for today. She is known as the Spoiled Princess. She never studied or worked, and it doesn't seem like she has any plans to do so. People say she's capricious and heartless. In fact, her last three blind dates ended with the men leaving in tears.”

"She sounds like a charming person. I'm glad my father set me up with her."

Kim Minji drives you to "Le Château Blanc," a luxurious French restaurant in Marine City. The interior is adorned with intricate chandeliers, plush velvet drapes, and ornate furniture, creating a classy ambiance.

You take a seat at a table, until Ahn Haeun arrives ten minutes later. Surprisingly, she is a true beauty, dressed in a white ensemble, complete with silk gloves and an elegant hat that she gracefully removes. From a professional standpoint, her appearance alone could rival that of an idol.

"Im Hyeonwoo," she says with a hint of condescendence. "People say you're a complete loser, but I suppose your good looks make up for it. I'll stay for a little while."

Her insult angers you, and you clench your fist, trying to maintain your composure. "Sharp-tongued indeed. You're true to your reputation as the Spoiled Princess," you retort, matching her tone.

As the conversation unfolds, you learn that Ahn Haeun has been set up on numerous blind dates by her father, all of which she despised. She openly expresses her distaste for business-minded men, and her lack of empathy or ethics becomes apparent as she rudely interacts with the waitress. Despite her harsh nature, she continues to keep you company throughout the entire date. As the meal draws to a close, she asks you, "Will we see each other again?"

When you return to the office, you find that Choi Miyeon's distress persists. Park Jieun, the other idol with schizophrenia, approaches you with the result of her tarot reading in hand.

"I have drawn the Justice card," Park Jieun reveals, her voice carrying a sense of caution. She presents the card, displaying a blindfolded woman holding a sword and a scale. "This card signifies that if your actions have caused pain to others, it serves as a warning."

Annoyed by the insinuation, you snatch the card from her hand and toss it aside. "Enough with the superstition. Everyone, let’s get back to work."

A few days have passed since your last visit to the office, and on Friday, you drop by for a short visit. Kim Minji comes in and provides a report on the recent developments.

"Choi Miyeon has stopped fixating on her husband and has been participating in the practice sessions with the other trainees," she informs you.

"That's good to hear. I was considering sending her to Tokyo.”

"If you are that quick to discard the idols, I suggest we form a second group of trainees. This way, we have backup members if the current members don’t meet your expectations," she suggests.

"Wouldn't that be a significant expense?"

"It depends. We already have available dorm space, so lodging wouldn't be an additional cost. Furthermore, I know you’re rejected them, but the veteran idols could handle their training. This way, we would avoid incurring extra training expenses.”

>Don’t hire new trainees
>Hire new trainees, and hire a new coach for them
>Hire new trainees, and let the veteran idols handle them

Suddenly, Ahn Haeun, the Spoiled Princess, bursts into your office, carrying a small plastic container.

“Annyeonghaseyo! I have cut strawberries and brought them to you for breakfast.” Her gaze shifts to Kim Minji, and with a dismissive tone, she instructs her to leave.

Surprised by her sudden entrance, you inquire, "How did you know I was here?"

She smiles mysteriously. "I have my sources. Quick, eat the strawberries while they're fresh. I made them especially for you."

What a strange woman. You haven’t had your second date yet, and she’s already making herself at home in your office.

>Eat the strawberries

As you know, our employees have been promoting our idols and conducting market research. Your need for employees will grow as the company grows, and you will certainly need them for marketing, handling jobs, and other tasks. With their temporary contracts nearing completion, you should evaluate whether retaining all of them aligns with our long-term goals. With a monthly salary of ₩1,500,000 each, they represent a big expense for the company.

You wake up on Tuesday morning, greeted by warm sun rays streaming into your bedroom. Taking a moment to appreciate the breathtaking panoramic view of Busan from your bedroom, you eventually make your way to the living room. To your surprise, Ahn Haeun is already there, sipping on a glass of water. You remember the night of drinking whiskey with her. It appears she had crashed in the guest room after both of you got drunk.

"Let's grab breakfast and head to the office," she suggests.

Glancing around the living room, your eyes catch sight of a bra hanging from your velvet sofa. Arriving at the office, you settle into your usual routine, taking a moment to read through your emails. Ahn Haeun stands closely behind, silently scanning the content on your screen.

"Don't you have anywhere else to be?" you ask, slightly annoyed by her presence. Ignoring her response, you focus on the task and begin deleting spam emails from your secretary. As you scroll through your inbox, your attention is caught by an email with a more interesting subject.

Bukkake

Greetings, esteemed Korean. I wanted to inform you that we have successfully completed the filming of “My Young Wife’s First Bukkake”, and I am pleased to say that it turned out to be a fine production. Since Jenica kept crying, we provided her with methamphetamine to help her mood.

Afterward, you summon Kim Minji to your office and instruct her to quickly find a coach and three new trainees for the company. You express that you prioritize hiring a young person for the coaching position. You don’t want someone like Jenica, who may be experienced and competent but is a poor role model for the trainees.

***

In the afternoon, you gather the new hires in your office. As first trainee, you have decided to give Wirunee Chiraporn, the Thai foreign bride, a chance to prove herself. She still wears her Venetian mask, keeping her appearance hidden from you.

Kim Minji introduces the other trainees to you. The first is Pyeong Suji, a talented cover singer who has gained a bit of popularity on the internet. She's never shown her face publicly because of a disfiguring scar. Then, there are Pan “Peggy” Bihui and Sin Sarang, one skilled in dancing and the other in singing, both hired from a local strip club. As for the coach, it will take a few more days to find someone with the required profile. Since you don’t care too much about the backup team, you quickly dismiss them.

Tuesday, July 5th. A month has passed since you became a CEO, and your father summoned you to his office for a meeting. He is sitting behind his imposing desk, looking at you with a stern expression.

"Hyeonwoo, I didn't expect you to take your job seriously. I thought I was going to send you to retire on Jeju Island," he says.

"Thanks, Abeoji,” you answer, a bit nervously.

"That wasn't a compliment," he retorts sharply. "You are nothing like Yeongho, and you have performed well below our family's standards. I've heard Yoo Hyanggi has been idle for an entire month, and he was one of the best resources I gave you."

You bow respectfully, feeling humiliated by your father's criticism. After this meeting, you step into the elevator and press the button to descend to your floor. As the doors open, you make your way to your office where Kim Minji awaits for your meeting. Taking a seat across from her, you prepare to discuss the results of the employee tests.

"The overall performance of the employees in the tests ranged from mediocre to average. Unfortunately, none of them demonstrated efficient usage of spreadsheet formulas."

You nod, not knowing what a spreadsheet formula is. Moving on to the financial report, Kim Minji presents the numbers for the month's expenses.

>Starting capital: ₩800,000,000
>Income: ₩2,281,769 (JAV movie)
>Expenses: ₩13,200,000 (entertainment) + ₩128,000 (body guards) + ₩836,514 (Tokyo trip) + ₩5,000,000 (penthouse rent) + ¥325,964 (Jenica’s commission) + ₩280,000 (idols food cost) + ₩1,000,000 (coach salaries) + ₩15,000,000 (employee salaries) = ₩35,770,478

>Current cash: ₩135,584,351
>Shares: 2,046,746 shares of 501071.KS [= ₩636,150,244] [+1.2%]

"According to this report, we immediately need to lay off employees, as they represent our biggest expense.”

>Keep 1 employee
>Keep 2 employees
>Keep all the “average” employees

After the meeting, you return to your penthouse, ready to spend time with Ahn Haeun. Today, she's dressed in a casual track suit, and the plan is to relax, drink wine, and play video games in the living room.

Joining her on the couch, you grab a controller and enjoy gaming for about an hour. Suddenly, the doorbell rings, and Yoo Hyanggi bursts into the room, gripping a baseball bat tightly. His eyes are bloodshot, and his anger is palpable.

"What have you done to my Hyejin!" he yells, his voice filled with rage. "What is this! She starred in a pornographic movie!?"

A wave of nervousness washes over you. "Yoo Hyanggi, it wasn't my doing. Hyejin came up with the idea herself, and I merely assisted her."

His expression twists with disbelief. "That's not true! I spoke with her on the phone! Unfathomable things have happened to her!"

Within minutes, the police arrive at the scene. They are always quick to arrive when a chaebol is involved.

Ahn Haeun looks at you with admiration and says, "You were quite manly when you were fighting, I like that."

You begin to wonder if you were truly displaying manliness, or if you simply are someone who inflicts pain on others without reason, walking a path of self-destruction.
