With the defeat of Majin Buu and the Remnants at the Battle of Namek, peace has come to the Seventh Universe. With no imminent battles to fight or wars to wage, the Saiyans have enjoyed their first long-term peace since their ancestors first landed on Planet Vegeta all those years ago. Yet this peacetime hasn't slowed the progress of the warrior race known as the Saiyans, whose power have continued to grow day after day. Foremost among this warrior race is the Fateless man known as the “Dragon of New Salda” and the first Super Saiyan to have appeared in a thousand years.

You the players play as this warrior named Karn, a man who has grown from a brawler with a powerlevel less than three thousand to now being the strongest of his kind, wielding the ancient emerald power of the Berserker and father of nearly a dozen children with his wife Meloka. After mastering the Yardratian ability known as Spirit Control, your power has grown beyond all previous limits.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

The day finally came, Chaya's fateful rematch with Tanya arrived, the entire family going to witness the battle. Chaya breezed through the fighting until coming up against Shellshock, her lightning causing the machine to self destruct. Then, after the faith Chaya's people have in her heals the injuries she sustained in the blast, the real battle between Chaya and Tanya began. The two godly-empowered women throw down, each fighting their heart out until Tanya unleashed her full power to cut Chaya's divine power off from the source. But she still battled through, dropping a Spirit Bomb she'd learned from Cell on the deity before the two women got to the final confrontation where Chaya triumphed, regaining her title of Dreadzone Champion. Maz and Kayle both travel to Planet Tatsu, confronting the creatures there. And now, as we rejoin Karn, it is the day after Chilli's declaration to you that he'll be destroying someone called the 'demon king'.

“Nine nine seven. Nine nine eight. Nine nine nine! One thousand!” Chaya calls out as she matches your pace, and for the first time since the two of you started training together early in the mornings. She immediately drops from the bar, the vertical sit ups hanging by ones knees difficult in sixty times New Salda's gravity. She flips in the air, landing down on all fours as you do a moment later, your daughter actually getting up to her feet and rushing over to the controls before you. Which surprises you, in a good way. Despite reclaiming her title of Dreadzone Champion and spending much of her daily time over there, she still maintains her training schedule with you. Keeping her word so far that she wouldn't start slacking off in her training again. You have a good feeling that she's learned her lesson and won't make the same mistake ever again. “C'mon, let's go get showered off and go eat.”

“You seem ready to go.” you note, the two of you heading to the door as your daughter almost bounces along.
“Of course! Today we finally get to see what secret project Chilli's been working on!” she says excitedly, the two of you walking through the empty halls of your ship towards the nearest shower. “I'm sooo curious what Chilli's been working on for his daughter's birthday!”
“Haha, we'll see soon enough.” you say, following Chaya as she opens the door to the showers. You both strip down and shower, then once done put your armors on. Chilli had asked that you all show up looking 'official', after all.

Once your showers are over and you and Chaya are dressed, you both head out to join everyone else for breakfast in the mess hall. Where you see that everyone else has already eaten, from all the empty platters around.

“Did you save some for us?” Chaya calls out, to which you hear Silver shouting something from the kitchen. A few moments later you see one of his disciples, the pale red-eyed woman walking out with two massive plates. “Now THAT'S more like it!”
“I hope you both enjoy.” she says with a smile before disappearing back into the kitchen. You and Chaya both chow down, devouring your meals hastily. But that doesn't mean you don't enjoy the flavor, even after all this time you still enjoy his masterful work in the kitchen. Then, once you all are done you reach out telepathically to your son, telling you that you all are ready to travel over.

“Great, I'll activate the doorway now.” he replies with a thought, you raising a brow in confusion. “It'll open in the medical bay, if you wouldn't mind heading through there.”
“Sure, but, any reason why?” you ask, feeling him grin through the link.
“You'll see.” is all he says before ending the mental link. You tell everyone what Chilli said, you and your family, plus Kori all heading there. You walk to the medical bay, and sure enough there against a wall is a crystal archway. As you approach, suddenly the crystals begin glowing, the wall behind it fading to show what seems to be a castle in the distance.

“Oh wow, Chilli can make portals now too?” Okira asks, surprised. “Since when could he do that?”
“I have no idea.” you say, walking forward and stepping through.

Which POV will we follow for the reveal?

Walking through the magical portal feels odd, as if your body is expanding and stretching impossibly for a singular moment. But after that momentary uncomfortableness passes, you step out onto a hilltop near a distant castle. One with a field of some sort of energy spread around it, forming a bubble shape around it.

“General Karn, we meet again.” a somewhat familiar voice calls, you turning and seeing the monster troupe led by the giant skeleton has presumably also stepped through another gate a ways behind your own. “What a lovely day for a young child's birthday, wouldn't you agree?”
“Yeah, that it is.” you say, walking up and shaking the offered skeletal hand. As you do, others start coming through other gates, you seeing some familiar faces you somewhat recognize from other gates while yet others look completely foreign. One in particular catches your eye, accompanied by several robed figures with the hoods up obscuring their faces. She's a woman of maybe Tomi's height, her hair silver on one side and black on the other while her eyes are the opposite, dark eye on the silver haired side and silver on the black-haired half. In her hands is a rather wicked looking scythe, which she carries with ease. Despite the girl's small stature, she is clearly a warrior. “Seems we have more company than last year.”

“Indeed.” the skeleton man says, also looking sideways at the woman and the group she arrived with. You can sense that the rest of them aren't anything special, but that one. Her powerlevel is the highest of everyone present except for those of the monster group, and your own family of course. But for this world her power is exceptional. Which makes you wonder how you haven't noticed this strength before? But before you can ponder on it further, you hear the distictive sound of your son's crystal magic. Turning back towards the castle, you see there before you all a mass of crystal forming and shaping up out of the ground, a few moments later the crystal shatters revealing your son, his wife Megumin, and their daughter Meloka Wolbach. Who spots you immediately.

“Grandpa!” she shouts, leaping from her mother's arms and flying directly at you. Catching you a bit by surprise but you brace yourself, catching the adorable little girl. “It's my birthday today!”
“That it is. Happy birthday.” you tell her, your granddaughter beaming up at you. Her smile warms your heart, you hearing the skeleton lord chuckling to himself behind you as you hold her.
“Grandpa, guess what!” she says after a moment of burying her face in your neck. “Guess, what, guess what!”

“What is it?” you ask, Meloka Wolback grinning even wider before looking around, then leaning in and whispering into your ear.
“Daddy said that he's gonna make an even more special kaboom than your kaboom last year for my birthday today.” she whispers, then leaning back says at full volume. “Daddy's spent the last four months making it for me!”

“Oh really? Then I can't wait to see it.” you tell her, your granddaughter then flying over to her namesake, hugging your wife as well as you sense one of the planet's stronger inhabitants approaching with two weaker ones. You turn, seeing the one you think was called Iris with her two women attendants behind her.
“General Karn.” the woman says, curtsying before you. You return her gesture with a proper Saiyan salute before she continues. “It is good to see Chilli's father healthy and well. It is clear where your son gets his strength from.”
“Thanks, but I can't take all the credit.” you say, glancing back to your wife as your granddaughter whispers something to her as well. “He gets his ruthlessness from his mother.”

“I-I see.” she says, not sure how to react, your son then raising a hand and firing off a beam of golden energy straight into the sky. Silencing everyone, you all turning to face him.
“Thank you all for coming. I know this is rather....Unorthodox, as many of you are rivals and competitors. But I would appreciate everyone keeping things civil today, on the day of my daughter's birth. Especially you.”

You aren't sure who your son suddenly glares at, but you can feel the heat from his glare. He then softens his expression before addressing the group once more.

“As most of you know, the Demon King has repeatedly attacked my home.” he says, dead silence echoing over the hill. “So, for today, I figured he and his 'impenetrable' castle would make the greatest example.”
“What sort of example?” Kori asks into the silence. To which he grins, raising his left hand and snapping his fingers. And the entire sky suddenly changes. No longer is it a clear, sunny day, but suddenly everything is cast into shadows. You and everyone else look up, shocked at what suddenly appeared overhead.

“Woah.” you hear someone say, summing up your feelings on this revelation. Somehow there is now a mass of crystal hovering above all of you and the castle, forming a mass easily several times the size of your home ship on New Salda across and casting everything below into shadow. The underside is nothing but jagged crystal spikes, leaving you to wonder if he intends to drop that entire mass directly down onto the castle and crush it. You hear several people exclaim in shock and surprise, meanwhile your gaze shifts from the marvel above directly to your son. Who seems quite pleased with the reactions so far, meeting your gaze and grinning.

“Impressive. To have cast such an even light-displacing spell over such a large object couldn't have been easy.” Ainz mutters to himself, the skeleton clearly well versed in magic. You hear several others mutter as well, when your son claps once. Everyone again goes silent, all eyes on him.
“Now, to celebrate my daughter's second birthday, I have a demonstration for you all.” he says, his eyes and expression suddenly going hard. “And a warning, should any of you threaten the Crimson Demon Village or my daughter. THIS will be your fate.”

And then, without warning, turns and throws a single crystal he creates in his hand at the Demon King's shield surrounding the castle. After a couple seconds' flight the crystal strikes the shield, and in a flash of blinding light, the shield simply vanishes. Several beings all gasp in surprise at this, you presuming that the barrier's strength must be well-known. Then, with a snap of his fingers as he turns back to face you all, he rains hell down upon the now-exposed castle. Hundreds of crystal lances, each nearly double your own height rain down, crushing stone and impaling the grounds in and around the Demon King's castle. Alarms from the castle suddenly sound as your son, without witnessing the damage simply smirks as the crystals all begin glowing, you realizing what's about to happen.

But what do you do?

“You need me to put up a Super Barrier?” you think to your son, who replies, slowly raising his arms.
“No need, the blast won't hit here.” he answers. “We'll only get the shock waves.”

And as he says this, the hundreds of crystals all detonate as one. The castle and all the surrounding area are consumed in hundreds of explosions all at once, everyone able to see the massive shock wave his attack generated rapidly rushing towards you all. Your son raises his arms out by his sides as this approaches, then the waves hit you all. The force washes over everyone, you hearing several people shout out as you hear them get knocked from their feet. But your focus is on the source, watching as the smoke cloud quickly blows away. Revealing that the Demon King's castle, and presumably everyone inside it, has been completely erased.

Where once there stood a castle is now a waste pockmarked with craters, no two stones from the castle remain stacked together. You look out over the remains, and for a moment your mind is back to the Siege of New Salda. Watching as an orbital weapon fires down at you, unable to escape. And in that moment, you can empathize with the Demo-or, rather, FORMER Demon King. As you can't sense a SINGLE powerlevel from the area where that castle once stood.

“WOOOOOAAAAAAAAH! That was SOOOO COOOOL!!” your granddaughter shouts, arms waving in excitement. “Do it again, do it again!”
“You want another shot kiddo?” your son asks her, your granddaughter looking at him in wide-eyed excitement as she nods repeatedly. “Well, why not? One more couldn't hurt.”

And he snaps his fingers, instantly firing another barrage of hundreds of massive crystal lances down at the ruins. Much to the gathered crowd's shock.

“What? Again?” one woman shouts out.
“N-Nani?” the skeleton man says, speaking in some foreign tongue you don't understand. Others all shout in surprise as Chilli's new weapon fires down, scattering crystals across the craterous area before they all detonate once more.
“YAAAAAAAY!!” your granddaughter cheers as they all explode, you seeing your son looking down at her smiling face and grinning himself. Reminding you of yourself and Chaya years ago. “KaaaBOOOOOOM!!”

Once more the shock wave washes over you all, but this time you glance back to see how the others handle it. The skeleton sorcerer erects some sort of force shield just around himself, the energy skating off his shield. His followers cover their eyes by various means, some using wings, others their forearms, but they all remain standing. Which can't be said for many of the others. The odd one with the robed group stands before the rest, erecting some sort of magical shield to protect them. The one princess you remember is named Iris draws a sword, slashing down at the shock wave to part it before her.

Several others, many wearing gaudy, impractical clothes however are knocked from their feet once again. One, a golden-haired man is knocked head over heels backwards, landing flat on his back while the old man with him is knocked flat as well, but he jabbers something about “Impossible, this can't be.” or something like that. But once the smoke clears, you see that the former Demon King's Castle now looks like the battlefield of Chaya's rematch with Tanya, a lifeless plain covered in countless craters. Then, as a thought strikes you you look up, curious to see how the two shots affected his construct. Yet, despite looking up at it, you can't see any spot where the crystals were obviously fired from. It looks as if it can fire several more times.

“It's something, isn't it?” Chilli thinks to you, you looking over at your son as he holds his excited daughter as she talks a mile a minute to him. “I call it my Crystal Star. I can move it anywhere along the planet's ley lines from my house, and even fire it remotely or up into space if I need to. Should something like the Covenant's Siege ever happen here. So, what do you think?”

Well? How do you respond to this? What do you even say after a display like that?

“Well, judging from the crowd behind us, I think it will certainly stop anyone from thinking of opposing you.” you reply with a thought, keeping the thoughts of how similar his weapon is to the Covenant's glassing cannons from the siege. Or their Needler weapons, whose crystals nearly killed you and your wife in those healing pods. “Your magic is getting more and more impressive all the time, good work son. But, is this the only one? If they keep pushing you and you really want to quell any thoughts of attacking you, you might need more than one.”

“Heh.” he chuckles aloud, ruffling his daughter's hair before he continues. “I might, but that thing took months to get right. Making another is no small ask. I barely managed this one before her birthday.”
“Impressive. I'm proud of you son, and this accomplishment.” you say, your son turning to you with a genuine smile. You smile back, but then add a word of warning to him. “But, make sure these fools here know it was YOU, not just this new weapon of yours that brought this destruction down.” you caution. To which his brows furrow, confusion on his face.

“What do you mean?” he asks, aloud as you walk forward.
“If they think it was only this spell, this Crystal Star of yours, that allowed you to do this, then they might simply think that defeating this creation will be all it takes to beat you.” you tell him quietly, just loud enough for his hearing to hear you over the rumblings of everyone present. To which he smirks, turning his granddaughter around to face you. Understanding what he wants you take her, your granddaughter bouncing up and down in excitement in your arms as Chilli starts levitating, hovering over everyone until they all notice him and the crowd goes quiet.

“This new spell, my Crystal Star, is just a small part.” he says to the gathered crowd, addressing them all. “You all have just witnessed a taste of the power I wield. But, to drive the point home, I have to ask my wife to help me. To demonstrate just how futile attacking my creation is. Megumin, if you would?”
“Of course.” she says, stepping forward away from Broly and Kori and walking out to the front of the group. Your son's staff appears in his hand after a few moments of crystals sprouting, the two mages tapping their staves on the ground in perfect sync. Creating a large magical circle on the ground around their feet instantly. And it would seem that this show isn't over yet.

“My name is Megumin! Greatest archwizard of the Crimson Demons, loving wife and mother, and she who walks the path of Explosions!” Megumin declares, and you don't have to be a wizard able to sense magic to see the sheer amount of raw magical energy in the air swirling around the two of them. “She who wields unrivaled destruction amongst my clan, and who calls forth the greatest attack power magic can manifest! Now, burst forth!”

“EXPLOSION!!” Megumin, Chilli, and your granddaughter all shout out at once, your son and his wife unleashing everything they'd been channeling. Dozens of magical circles appear on his Crystal Star a moment before firing, the mass of explosive magical power surging directly towards it. Striking the crystal construct center mass, detonating in the largest explosion you've seen today. The blast and ensuing smoke cloud actually obstruct the giant construct for several seconds, obscuring any damage immediately from view as Megumin sways on her feet. But her husband is right there, catching her and you feeling him channel his ki into her to keep her upright.

“Grandpa, look!” your granddaughter suddenly shouts, stretching and pointing back up into the sky. You follow where she's gesturing towards, and feel your eyes widen in surprise as you see it: the Crystal Star isn't even scratched! “Woah!”
“Th-That was enough magical power to be a Super-tier magical spell.” you hear Ainz the skeleton man say, his shock reverberating through the gathered people. Even his other siblings seem shocked and surprised, the fact that it hadn't taken any damage from the attack startling. “Subarashii, Chilli.”

Everyone is shocked by the display of his spell's durability, your son turning and looking over the group with a satisfied, almost smug grin.

“Oooh hooo hoo hoo hooo!” comes a familiar laugh from the back, everyone turning to see another very familiar being clapping slowly. “Well done, Chilli. I was right to appoint you in charge of this planet.”

The crowd parts as Freeza walks forward, everyone silent as he walks. You and your wife, on reflex salute, the rest of your kids following suit. He sees this and chuckles, waving at you.

“Oh please, dispense with the formalities, Karn. Today is a day of celebration, after all. Now, where is the birthday girl?”
“Here!” your granddaughter shouts, jumping out of her arms and flying over to him. Slamming into his chest and hugging him happily as murmurs of confusion go through the crowd. You hear several ask who this could be, but you notice one being looking stunned. Ainz, the skeletal mage seems absolutely shaken at Freeza's appearance, at least for a moment before he regains his composure. “Glad you could make it!”
“Me too, little one.” he says with a smile, rubbing her hair as he looks over to your son. “Well done, Chilli. I must say, I'm impressed.”

“Thank you.” your son says, bowing slightly to him. To which he smirks, then turns his attention to the gathered crowd.
“Now, as I understand it you all are the representatives of the various political factions of this small world.” Freeza says, a hint of mocking derision in his voice. “But today is not a day for politics, but celebration! And what celebration would be complete without a celebratory feast?”

As he says this, you suddenly sense another trio of familiar powerlevels, turning your gaze to see that one of the crystal gates has reactivated itself.

“Now, let us go celebrate!” Freeza says, he, Chilli, and Megumin walking without hesitation through the crowd directly to the portal. The portal where, through the crystal gate, you can sense Arctus, Cooler, and King Cold as well.

But despite your reservations about confronting King Cold for the first time since the incident, you don't hesitate and step forward. You follow directly behind your son and his wife, your family all walking behind you as you all enter through the portal. Immediately, as you walk through, you find yourself in a room that could only belong to one man. The atmosphere feels ancient, the stone of the table seemingly absorbing the light of the room and making the room feel darker. And there, at the head of this long table, is none other than Lord Freeza's father himself, King Cold.

You all file into the room, Freeza taking a place by his father's left, Cooler already seated by his right. You all fill into the room, everyone taking seats at the long table. You sit beside your son, his daughter in his lap as the rest of the crowd takes their seats. You notice a fight nearly break out between Ainz and two of his assistants, the bone man silencing them both with a gesture. He then sits the two smallest beings, the twins you've seen before with the pointy ears by his sides, sitting the two of them in the two spots opposite himself at the table. Then, once everyone's seated, King Cold speaks.

“Thank you all for accepting my invitation. Welcome to my home.” he says, looking over everyone. “Before we begin, I would just like to say a few words. Specifically to the birthday girl herself.”
“That's me!” your granddaughter exclaims, King Cold smirking slightly.
“Yes, indeed.” he says with a chuckle. “This is in honor of you, Meloka Wolbach. Now, let us eat!”

And with a single clap several server machines all roll out, each carrying trays of food out from behind the pillars lining the outer edge of the room. You look as they all start circling the table, not placing anything. You look around in confusion, everyone sharing similar reactions. Except for Cooler and Freeza, who both turn in their seats, reaching out and taking a plate from one of the machines each. Watching how they do it you then understand, the two now plateless machines rolling out of the room to doubtless gather more to eat.

“Please, help yourselves.” the emperor's father says, and you all dig in. Despite having eaten just shortly before arriving, you think that a little more couldn't hurt and you get a couple plates for yourself and dig in. However, as you do, a familiar, cold mind reaches out to yours.
“I see that your daughter hasn't separated herself from the dagger yet.” King Cold thinks to you.

“Is it because she cannot? Or CHOOSES not to?” he asks, you sensing a slight hint of menace in his voice.
“I don't know.” you reply to him honestly, turning to look at him. But he's not looking at you, looking out over the table. You turn, trying to see who he has his gaze on, but no one looks too out of place. Everyone is eating, well except for Ainz. Which makes sense, if he tried to eat he'd just spill it all over his robes and look ridiculous. But when you turn back, King Cold's gaze is now squarely fixed on you. You feeling the intensity of the ancient being's glare.

“I have had news which may interest you, Saiyan.” King Cold again thinks, you getting the feeling he'd offered this meal only as a pretext to get you here. “But first, tell me: what are your opinions on the gods?”
“Which ones?” you immediately reply, not understanding his question and wanting there to be no confusion. Does he mean the ones Chilli and Caulifla work for, that have helped them? Or does he mean the ones that Chaya has fought?
“Right. I mean the Kais. Specifically the Supreme Kai, Shin.” he clarifies, you getting a feeling something big is happening. “What is your opinion of him?”

Well? How do you reply?

Your opinion on the Supreme Kai, whose name is apparently Shin? Thinking back, the only time you can ever recall him ever DOING anything of note was during the Siege of New Salda, stopping the war right before the first Arbiter could finish you off. But other than that, you can't recall him ever doing anything productive. He showed up too late for Trigon, too late to help against Majin Buu, and every single other problem you've had in your life. So, with all that in mind you answer him.

“Honestly? He seems to be quite useless, but he did save my life that one time, ending the Siege of New Salda when he did. Had he been even a minute later, I would have died. But other than that, he's done nothing when beings from other timelines, dimensions, or whatever other conflicts arise. Even Majin Buu, the one he's supposedly been hunting for so long, was defeated before he even showed up to the fight.”
“I see.” King Cold answers with a thought, his mind carefully blank. But from his expression you can feel his malicious intent. Not directed at you, but someone. “Useless is a good word for him. But I believe the term -incompetent- suits him far better. Most of the good that comes from his actions is incidental, like the news I received. News for you, and your boy.”

With that thought he adds Chilli to the telepathic call, addressing your both as everyone else eats, oblivious to the discussion going on.

“I have news for the both of you. Your eldest daughter as well, but... Well, I don't think I want that level of publicity on this strike.” King Cold continues, your son looking up from you to King Cold and back. You reach out and pat him on the back with your right hand, nodding to him as King Cold continues. “Chilli, news of your fight and near-victory against that golden helm god has even reached my ears. So, I have tasked one of my best undercover agents with discovering his whereabouts. And, it just so happens, that his location was confirmed.”

Your son freezes at this, you sensing his powerlevel start to climb to match his sudden anger. You clamp down on his left shoulder with your right hand, your son focusing and sighing out before King Cold continues.

“And it was quite the location. A shame you missed him last time, Karn.” the emperor's father continues. “As he and that other Kryptonian you found share the same world.”

You feel your heart skip a beat, you were that close to the one who nearly had you and your son murdered? And missed him? Now it is your turn to calm yourself down, as the sudden spike in anger caused the entire room to tremble momentarily.

“It is just a small tremor, pay it no mind.” King Cold says, addressing the room at large as they all notice. You take a deep breath, sighing out slowly and forcing your own power to level out before King Cold continues his telepathic conversation. “And it was confirmed for me the other day when the Surpreme Kai himself went and visited this deity. Apparently, he had a hand in your daughter's match, empowering the other one to try and kill Chaya.”

You and Chilli share a look at this, understanding flowing thoughtlessly between the two of you. You both owe that bastard what he tried to send you with that mercenary, Lobo.

“And, according to my informant close to the Supreme Kai, he addressed the deity, Nabu, directly. And gave 'Strong words of criticism' for his actions.” King Cold says derisively. “But, as you say, he is rather useless. I will not tolerate such blatant disrespect. So, your mission is simple. I want you to hunt that bastard down, he who would dare attack my son's top general and his son, and murder him.”

As he gives the order to you and your firstborn son he doesn't get up, his facial expression doesn't change, but as he gives the two of you these orders, his entire being radiates with malicious intent. His will causes everyone present to freeze a moment, as if feeling a chill wind up their spine before he continues addressing the two of you.

“I don't care about collateral damage, the entire planet can go if necessary.” he says, telepathic tone turning far more businesslike as his malicious aura fades away. “But once this meal is over, and everyone else is sent home through the gate, I want the two of you to travel there and take him out.”

Well? How do you respond to this?
>You accept, that bastard will get what's coming to him
>Agree, but you won't be the one killing him. This is Chilli's fight, his prey after all
>You have questions first before you agree. Such as what are you to do if Shin sends that time-stopping Kars in to stop you both again?

“Before I agree to this, I have questions.” you think to King Cold, who simply nods in response. “First of all, what do we do with the Supreme Kai's assistant, Kars, should he interfere again? Do you want us to try and distract him, or take him out?”
“Heh. Kars won't be a problem.” King Cold says, grinning and giving you a slight nod. “After all, he'll be distracting the Supreme Kai and that old Kai, once I give the signal. And yes, he's equally as disappointed in the Supreme Kai, as of late. I have the feeling that he's angling to replace Shin, in a few decades or so.”

Replacing Shin? The thought of Kars as Supreme Kai, while not exactly comforting, isn't terrible either. Unlike with Shin, who does nothing, Kars is clearly a man of not only words but actions as well. Should he take over, you have a feeling things across the universe would change. Into what, you're uncertain, but you have the feeling he would have a stronger hand than the do-nothing Shin.

“But how will that stop Nabu from calling for help?” your son asks him, also serious. “Even if Kars does his best to distract, he could show up directly instead.”
“No, that won't be a problem.” King Cold grins. “As Shin is afraid of your father, and won't confront you directly. When my son broke through that Time Kai's barrier, according to Kars all of the divine realm felt your power, Karn. And they were afraid. That elderly Kai who was trapped in that sword says that your power specifically is anti-divine, a threat that once ran rampant during his time. And it is why the gods fled the mortal realm, establishing their own realm apart from our own and never really returned.”

“Woah.” you mutter aloud, looking back down at your empty plate but not seeing it as you process this information. You remember him saying something about a 'godslayer', or 'god eater', you can't really remember as it was years ago. But if those beings were enough to cause the gods to flee, and your Berserker power reminds him of this? Then perhaps you really CAN do this without interference?
“I'm in.” your son tells King Cold with a thought, looking to you. “What about you Dad?”
“Yeah, let's do this. That bastard Nabu has it coming.” you add, the two of you meeting King Cold's gaze. “We accept.”

“Excellent.” King Cold replies, smiling wickedly. “Once everyone else leaves, I shall give Kars the signal. And on his command, time will stop.”
“Wait, what?” you ask, surprised. “Say what now?”
“I wouldn't want to take away a father's time with their child, especially during such.... Formative years.” King Cold says, no doubt meaning Chilli and Meloka Wolbach. “He shall stop time for us, and allow you to take your target out and return without missing a single moment.”

This all seems a bit too perfect, you wondering how much of this plan was King Cold's plan and how much was Kars's own as the meal winds down. Then, once the last person sets their utensils down, King Cold rises to his feet. But before he can start speaking, his eyes widen a noticeable bit, immediately reaching out to the two of you.

“Slight change of plan, the time stop is happening now.” he thinks to you both. “Get ready.”
“Megu, hold her a moment.” Chilli says, passing his daughter to his confused wife. But as he does, everything suddenly stops moving. Even King Cold is frozen, stopped in that moment of time. Then, a second later, Kars himself appears across the table from you and your son.
“You should hurry along, before Nabu suspects what's about to happen and runs for it.” he says, grinning wickedly. “Good hunting, you two.”

You're all ready to go, but as you raise your right hand towards your forehead, your gut tells you that something's just... Wrong. So before you leave, you speak up.

“Alright, stop. What's going on, Kars?” you ask, rising to your feet and staring the apprentice Kai down. “Don't bullshit me, what are you doing here?”
“Astute, as always. I'll tell you, but you can't tell King Cold.” he says, still smiling and not seeming upset to be called out at all. “What do you say?”
“I can't agree to that and you know it.” you say flatly, to which the apprentice Kai simply shrugs, then chuckles.
“Very well. I'll tell you, I'm looking for something.” he says, gesturing towards King Cold with his thumb. “And if anyone's managed to hide it away, it would be him. The Supreme Kai had me look through the divine artifacts, to make sure that nothing was missing, but there is one item in particular that has disappeared. Sometime over the last five hundred years or so. Soo, while you're off murdering Nabu, I'm going to take a peek, look for the artifact, and bring it back to the divine realm and put it back in its rightful place.”

“What is the item?” Chilli asks, your son having already drawn his staff, crystal blade radiating with powerful, dreadful energy. You can sense that he's about to fly off the handle and simply attack, but you also feel something else. Someone, or something is watching you. But you can't take your eyes off of Kars, who knows what he'll try and pull?
“It is a lotus-shaped crystal that gleams with silver light.” he answers, turning from you to Chilli. “A magical artifact that, in the wrong hands, could revive the dead, turn people good or evil, fend off dark magics, and even spread itself through an enitre planet. This artifact is simply too dangerous to leave in the mortal realm, should someone manage to steal it from King Cold's vaults. That is why I have shown up in person, and even agreed to his scheme in the first place. The price, for giving him what he wants is to get something that I also want.”

“IF King Cold has such an object locked away, whose to say it won't be safer here?” you say, speaking up. “After all, it somehow got away from the divine realm, didn't it?”
“Yes. However, the deity who misappropriated it for one of those 'Isekai' schemes is currently in the mortal realm and will be unable to access the vault when she returns. So, that will no longer be a problem. Now, are you two going to hurry along? I can see that Nabu is still within a few yards of the Kryptonian, as well as a few others from their world. But he might leave, after all he's already trying to figure out why time has stopped.”

“If going through the vault is all you're after, then go for it. Just don't do anything else.” your son says, then his entire demeanor changes, his voice dropping as he delivers his threat. “I know where you live. And not you, your Stand, nor the Supreme Kai himself can stop me.”
“Excellent, I could feel a shiver from that one. Well done.” Kars says, completely unphased by your son's threat before turning to you. “And what of you? Any cutting words before you depart?”

“Something's been watching us.” you tell him simply, the Kai's eyes widening in surprise. “We're not alone.”
“Then I'd better get moving.” he says, quickly rushing from the room. You turn to your son, who nods once, laying his free left hand on the outside of your thigh as you raise your right hand to your forehead, focusing. It only takes a moment to find the Kryptonian's power, you zeroing in on it a moment before both you and Chilli vanish. One instant you are on King Cold's world, the next find yourself standing next to the blue spandex'd man, along with several of the familiar faces you'd seen after coming to his aid. They are in some sort of what seems to be conference or judgment room, the seven all sitting at a long table with Superman at the head. And standing at the other end of the room is a figure wearing the familiar helmet of the assassin-hiring deity, holding a pair of magical circles out from his hands as he looks into one. But jumps as your son suddenly shouts in the silence.

“Nabu the Coward! I: Reaper Chilli, son of Karn, have come to reap your immortal soul!” your son declares, snapping his left hand's fingers to summon that ancient tome of a death god into it. His hand instantly turns skeletal, your son snarling at him as he Ascends in a burst of sparks. “This time, you're not getting away!”

“What? You, here? How?!” the golden helmeted man says, stumbling backwards in shock. “Time is stopped, you shouldn't be able to move, much less come after me!”
“You're not going to escape me again.” Chilli says, voice dripping pure venom as he stares down the golden helm. “Six years I've been waiting for this chance. And today, I've finally found you. You're not getting away again. This day you fall.”

“Not likely.” Nabu replies, radiating with golden light as he rises up off the floor. But then Chilli catches you by surprise, asking the helmeted figure a question.
“What was this poor soul's name?” your son asks, actually stopping Nabu in his tracks. “The mortal whose body and free will you've stolen, wearing like a suit. What was her name?”
“Linda Strauss.” Nabu replies, shocking you that he's actually talking with your son and telling him this. “Her name IS Linda Strauss.”
“Linda Strauss. I will free your body from this monster's control, and let your soul and body rest.” your son says, gritting his teeth as he rises up into the air, drawing level with the golden helmet. “But as for you, Nabu. No more. This ends now.”

“I do not sense Jergal's power overflowing from you, like before.” Nabu replies, the golden being seemingly far more confident than he probably should be. Especially considering how last time went. “Without the divine power of Death, you cannot stop me. I am a GOD!”

And on Nabu's declaration, several magical circles appear around him, each one shining golden just like the helmet. From both your son and Nabu's body languages, they're both tense as springs ready to explode, waiting to see who will make the first move.

But what do you do?
>Rush and attack with your Barrier up, draw his fire so your son can attack freely
>Draw the dragon bone dagger Chilli made you and rush, use it to counter any magic thrown your way before getting in close and stabbing the person in the chest

“HRRAAAA!” you roar, shooting up into your Ascended Berserker form and charging directly towards the helmet. As you charge you use your telekinesis to draw the bone dagger your son'd carved for you from its sheathe in your boot, it flying up to your hand as the mask speaks.
“Ankh of Justice!” Nabu shouts, firing one of those golden runic shapes at you. But as it closes in the dagger Spell Breaker slams into your palm, you focusing your ki through the weapon. It glows with azure light, the golden magical attack crashing into your weapon. Then in a blinding flash of light, it vanishes. But, oddly, the dagger doesn't absorb and save the spell like it does with Chilli's own. When the flash of light fades, the dagger returns to its normal form. “What?”

“Crystal Magic: Paledrake's Lair!” Chilli shouts, setting up the room for his crystal spells. But while he's vulnerable you keep charging, dashing straight towards Nabu with the dagger held in a reverse grip to draw his fire.
“Chains of Order!” Nabu bellows, dozens of golden chains exploding out from the golden shape of glowing magic behind him.
“GRRRAAAAA!” you roar, focusing your ki through the weapon as you slash with abandon through the chains trying to bind you. With each slash there is a blinding flash, destroying each of them one by one. In less than a second you've destroyed all of them, continuing to charge forward.

“Vengeance of Horus!” Nabu calls, and suddenly you feel the mortal body he's controlling's powerlevel suddenly explode! A crimson glow begins emanating from their body, throwing the body's fists forward and firing magical blasts at you similar to Chaya's Ki Punch Blasts. But they're also magical, Spell Breaker cutting through them and destroying the magic with ease as you continue your forward charge, closing the distance. But just as you get into striking range, Nabu uses a power you'd not seen before. Nabu goes left AND right simultaneously, splitting from one being to two instantly. But that won't stop you.

“HAAAAAAA!!” you shout, swinging on the one going to your left with your left forearm in a powerful lariat, your forearm smashing against the woman's chest and sending Nabu flying directly into the other Nabu. Instantly recombining them and slamming the golden helmet and his captive body into the wall.
“Guh!” the helm exclaims, and before he can recover you've again closed the distance. And with all the strength in your body slam the dragon bone blade in a powerful hammer fist strike directly into the woman's heart with another flash of light.

“Who... Are....?” a woman's voice asks, you realizing that the flash of light was the dagger breaking Nabu's control over the woman. But before she can understand what's going on, the golden helmet's eye sockets flash with golden light.
“No you don't!” you snarl, again focusing your ki through the blade. Once more there's a flash of azure light, the helmet not regaining control of the woman. But she then raises both arms.

“ENOUGH!!” she shouts, trying to use the helmet's magic once more. But you don't stop channeling your ki through the weapon and stopping it before she can cast anything. But that seems to have been the last of the woman's strength, her body sagging against the wall. Nabu then confirms she's done by shooting itself up and off her head, flying away from you as its eyes glow.

“Lightning of Penitence!” the helmet calls as you turn, jerking the dagger from the woman's chest to see twin bolts of crimson lightning streaking towards you. Again you cleave through the magical attacks, with two flashes of light the attacks disappear into nothing. “Shackles of Anubis!”

Suddenly, from the crystallized ground explode dozens of chains, each as pitch black as the true Dark you've witnessed before. But as they shoot up out of the ground, your son calls out.

“Crystallize!” he calls, and to your shock the chains themselves begin crystallizing. You leap back, the chains trying to follow but are completely bound within your son's crystals before they can grow to even three feet long. “You're not escaping this time! CHAOS SPACE!!”

And the world around you is completely consumed by swirling lights and sensations, tastes and smells as nothing makes sense. One moment you feel like you are falling, the next drowning, and the moment after being consumed by flames. But then everything stops, leaving the three of you without that woman's body in a world of nothing but gray. The ground is gray, indistinguishable from the gray sky and gray everything. The only source of light is your blazing emerald aura, reflecting off of the golden helm.

“You think to keep me trapped here, in this space? Please. Law of Order: Causality! The First Flame of Disparity!” Nabu declares, and from that helmet erupts a blazing inferno. The heat is instant and intense, more powerful than any fire you've ever seen. If it consumes you, you're in for an agonizingly painful death.

“Tch! BARRIER!” you shout, throwing your arms wide and activating your shield. Your ki hardens into a spherical shield twice as large across as you are tall before the fire slams into your shield. Thankfully your shield holds as the fires continue to spread, preventing you from being fried as they consume the world of gray around you all. However, the flames continue burning your shield, quickly enveloping you within a ball of fire as the energy you'd invested is burned away. You can feel the energy dwindling rapidly, you'll only have seconds before the shield is consumed completely and the fires fall onto you.

With limited options you focus, pulling the side facing the helmet Nabu open. Only to see that the fires have passed, the room returned to normal there. So you take your opportunity, throwing the shield open and stepping through as the last of your energy is burned to nothing behind you. You look over towards Chilli, seeing your son simply parting the flames and stepping through, not even marked by the fire.

“I tried to take this battle elsewhere, but if you want to risk your friends' lives as collateral damage, so be it.” Chilli says, a hard edge to your son's tone as he clearly disapproves. “Or do the lives of these mortals mean so little to you?”
“I shall eradicate you!” Nabu declares, not engaging. The empty eye sockets of the helm flash golden, dozens of his symbols like the one he'd thrown at you earlier now hover in the air. From them you see the points of dozens from each pointed down at you both, realizing what's about to happen. “Rain of Judgment!”

Thousands upon thousands of the symbols, these ankhs as he calls them, fire down from the symbols overhead. Your eyes widen in surprise, then with a though activate your second defensive ability. You draw you ki inward, hardening it into your Energy Body. Your energy solidifies an instant before the attack connects, the tiny ankhs piercing into your ki. Not deep enough to actually hit you, but after a few seconds you're stuck with tens of thousands of the piercing magical symbols.

“DAD!!” Chilli shouts in panic, you feeling his ki suddenly vanish. And looking over, you see that he's no longer there. At least, his body isn't. Instead he's gone, replaced with that ephemeral, dark shadow-like being. “HRRRR! KAIO-KEN!!”

His crimson aura blazes as he activates the technique, throwing both hands forward and creating a dozen or so magical circles within each other before him. “I'LL SLAUGHTER YOU!!”

“What?!” Nabu exclaims, turning his attention from you fully towards your son. His eye sockets then blaze with violet energy, firing a beam of dark purple magic towards your son. Who only raises his left hand, creating a shield of a couple dozen magical circles. The beam from Nabu slams into the magical circles, but can't pierce through your son's shield. And while Nabu's distracted you end your Energy Body, surging forward towards the helmet before the symbols can drop onto your body.

“Chains of Order!” the helmet declares, once more the chains drop down at you from the many ankhs in the air overhead.
“Crystal Magic Sealer Scattershot!” Chilli roars, ending his shield and spinning clockwise around the beam before throwing a large crystal the size of your torso up towards the ceiling. It then shatters into a thousand pieces, the crystals all shooting up and sealing away the ankhs overhead in a rapid barrage of light flashes. Your son then throws his left forward towards the helmet, snarling out, “Crystal Death Magic: Death Grip!”

And from the crystals on the ground beneath the helm shoots up a skeletal arm made of crystals, radiating with deathly power as it shoots up. Before Nabu can react, the skeletal hand grabs the helmet and holds it in place.

“What?!” Nabu exclaims, stopping the beam as it tries to see what's going on.
“Dad, now!” Chilli thinks to you. “Before he can escape!”

“HRRRYAAAAAA!!” you snarl, the crystal shattering beneath your feet as you launch yourself straight at Nabu. Raising the dagger overhead you grab your right hand with your left, ready to drive the point home with your full strength.
“No! I will not fall!” the deity shouts, golden light radiating from it as the helmet tries something.
“Crystal Magic Sealer!” Chilli shouts, throwing another of his crystals into the light, absorbing all of it with a flash before Nabu's magic can fully materialize. “Now Dad! Do it!”
“HAAAAAAA!!” you roar, swinging down with all the force your Ascended Berserker form has while channeling your ki into the blade. The dragon bone knife slams down onto the top of the helmet at your full force. The instant it makes contact you're blinded by a flash of light, feeling a jolt of what feels like fire inside your veins shoot up your right arm holding the dagger all the way to your shoulder. But you stop driving it in, taking your left off and placing it on the back driving the dragon bone point down even harder. “HRRRYAAAAA!!”

“NO, STOP THIS! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Nabu shouts, his voice clearly panicked as the skeletal crystal arm cracks, then shatters completely. “YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE DOING, STOP!!”
“GRRRRRRAAAAA!!” you snarl, raising your entire body up above the dagger and pressing down with all your might, driving it down with the full force of your physical strength and your flying speed all still without being able to see. But then, you feel it. You feel the knife start to pierce the helmet! “HAAAAAAAAAAA!!”

And with everything you've got, you drive the knife home, the dragon bone cutting through the metal until your fist strikes it. The deity inside shrieks out in what sounds like pain, the blinding light suddenly vanishing. All the force behind your weapon suddenly vanishes, you driving the weapon and helmet down straight at the ground at full force. With only a split second to react you twist your fist, slamming your knuckles down onto Chilli's crystals instead of the dragon bone knife tip, the helmet shattering into a million pieces on the ground from the force of the impact.

“Foolish mortals. I had tried to warn you.” a man's voice, now without the echoing and sourcelessness from earlier but still unmistakably the same speaker calls out. And as you quickly rise, you see Nabu's true form standing before you.

“Foolish mortals. Breaking me free of the helmet and threatening my life means that now, according to divine law, I am free to dispose of you however I see fit. I am no longer limited to only what methods mortals are capable of.” Nabu says, holding out his left hand towards the dying woman. And immediately a medallion and the cape fly off her body, straight towards his outstretched left hand. Immediately your instincts warn you that you should stop this from happening, again kicking off the ground so hard crystals shatter beneath you. “What?”

You blaze forward at full speed, swinging the dagger in a backfist once more at the approaching medallion, it glowing with faint azure light as you channel more power into it. And as you swing, your strike was perfect, the blade slamming into the amulet dead center, unleashing another flash of light at the same moment as the sonic boom from your charge registers.

“NOOOOOOOO!!” Nabu cries out in pain as your dagger cuts through the metal disc, it slicing cleanly through until your fist slams into it, the medallion shattering into a million golden pieces identically to his helmet. But as it shatters, there is an explosion of light, the force knocking you backwards off of your feet. What looks to be a portal appears in the space you'd destroyed the amulet, light escaping the space. But as you roll back to your feet, sliding to a stop by your son, you see the god has dropped to a knee, clutching his head while vaguely humanoid forms escape the dark void of where the amulet was. But as they do, you hear Chilli's voice.

“He was stealing souls and trapping them away in that amulet.” Chilli mutters, sounding both horrified and relieved. “No wonder Lord Jergal wants this bastard gone.
“You damned Saiyans!” Nabu snarls, pushing himself back up to his full height, standing just an inch or two above you in your Berserker form, but not nearly as broad. “You will pay for your transgressions!”
“You first.” Chilli says, voice cold as ice as he returns to his mortal form, still holding his Death tome in his left and his staff in his right. “Now you die.”

“How do you want to do this?” Chilli thinks.

“Follow my lead.” you think to your son, swapping the dagger to your left hand then drawing the ancient Wolf Knight Sword off your back.
“Death Crystal Magic: Dueling Blades.” Chilli calls, snapping the book closed and banishing it as a pair of magical blades appear before him, your son crossing his arms and grabbing both by the handles. Then you both crouch simultaneously, ready to surge forward towards the god standing defiantly before you both.

“Foolish.” Nabu says, creating a sword and shield both of golden magic shaped like his ankhs, taking a ready stance behind the shield. “Come, face me if you wish to die!”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRsfFF-qRxs

“HRRRAAAAAA!!” you roar, exploding off the ground while channeling your ki into your sword, slashing it through the air. And from your weapon fires an azure magical blade of cutting energy, Nabu raising his shield to block the attack. Allowing you and Chilli to close in unimpeded, you thrusting the dagger straight towards his shield while channeling your ki into the blade. It strikes his magical shield with a flash of blinding light, Chilli flipping up and over the god simultaneously. Then as the flash fades you swing the great sword down in a powerful overhead, forcing the god to raise his own weapon in defense. “DRRRAAAAAAA!!”

“GYAAAH!” Nabu cries out in pain as your weapons clash, you seeing a spray of blood from behind him as Chilli no doubt slashes him with his swords. Nabu spins, swinging his left hand backfist towards your son, who is already spinning around the god and easily ducks the strike, slashing him twice in rapid succession on his left leg. The first hit lands just above the ankle, the second at the knee and dropping the god. While at the same time you flip up and over Nabu, driving your right knee into the back of his head as he turns to track your son. “GUUH! HAA!”

The god creates another glowing golden shield just as Chilli thrusts both of his swords forward, both easily piercing through the golden energy. But not enough to strike the god directly again. But as you land behind your son, you get a good look at the injuries his death-empowered blade cause, and feel your own stomach turn. Despite the injuries just happening, the injuries appear to be festering and rotting, the flesh around the injuries dying and decaying right before your eyes. But this isn't the time to admire your son's handiwork, this bastard dies here and now!

With his back exposed, you immediately focus your ki into the dagger as Nabu begins glowing, no doubt to attack your son while his blades are trapped. But before he can you spin clockwise, slashing diagonally down his back with the dragon bone knife. Blinding yourself again momentarily as the blade strikes his flesh in a flash of light, but then you land, spinning clockwise into an upwards backhanded slash with your sword. Severing Nabu's left arm from his body the instant after Chilli kicks off the shield, freeing his weapons.

“Gaaaaah!” Nabu roars in pain, a wave of light exploding from his body as his limb is severed. Before you can focus your ki into the dagger the wave strikes you, pushing you back and away from the god. But you refuse to be driven back. Slamming the point of your sword into the crystals covering the ground, stopping your backwards momentum. But the golden light doesn't stop, Nabu's scream ccontinuing as more energy radiates off of him. You, however, have the answer, focusing your ki into the dagger and slashing the air before you. And, once again, with a flash of light the spell ends.

“DON'T STOP!” you roar to your son, immediately launching yourself forward again. But he didn't need the encouragement, your son diving forward the same instant you do. At perpendicular approaches from each other, Nabu sees you both coming but can't choose which target is more dangerous. And in that moment of hesitation, as he looks back and forth, the two of you close in on him and attack. The instant you're in range you swing the great sword down, blade slamming into the god's shoulder and cutting deep into his body. “HRRRRRAAAAA!!”
“HAAAAAAA!!” Chilli roars, deflecting Nabu's panicked and clumsy strike with his left sword while driving his right into the god's chest simultaneously.
“Guh-!” Nabu exhales, looking down at the sword in his guts in confusion. You and your son tear your blades free simultaneously, Nabu dropping down to his other knee as Chilli crossing his blades, putting Nabu's head between them. “Th-This isn't how i-!”

And without waiting for him to finish speaking your son decapitates the god. Nabu's head rolls from his body as it slumps to the crystal-covered ground, lifeless. The god known as Nabu is dead. Chilli sighs out, letting the magic weapons in his hands shatter and turn to dust before disappearing completely. You actually did it. Nabu, the one who tried to murder you and your son several times is now dead. The two of you just killed a god.

And that's it for this weekend, everyone enjoy the rematch with Nabu? Enjoy fighting alongside your son and taking the life of a god? Are you ready to deal with the consequences of this action later, both deserved and undeserved? Curious what Kars's MAIN goal was with all of this was? All this and more, next weekend when Saiyan Conqueror Quest 197 continues!

I suspect either the Justice League is going to be lameos, or the Lords of Order and Chaos will be dicks.

That begs the question, once Nabu was off of her did she get frozen in time?
>>
>>5675386
It feels good to finally cross off another name on The Shitlist, and it was a long time coming too. But we'll probably have to deal with Superman's whining about "morals" and "justice" and how we didn't have to kill him or something. I'm tempted to just teleport right back instead of listening to a lecture,

Also slightly surprised no one figured out what the artifact Kars is after is. Or if you have you simply haven't said. If you know what anime it is, based off of what powers Kars stated it has, you might know what else of that same universe Kazuma might have recognized in King Cold's vault

I'll be real, the description didn't stick out to me when I read it during the session, so I kinda just ignored it.

Their power scaling does go absolutely nonsensical towards the end. Which is another reason why Cold didn’t play around and suggested destroying the Saiyans early to Freeza. After all, your race now stands poised to threaten his own rule and power in just a few short decades.

King Cold usually doesn't get as close as he did with Krypton, usually preferring to keep a few planets' distance between himself and whatever world he's destroying. Just in case they could sense or detect his approach should he get too close.

It would, if you somehow survive your entire planet blowing up in your face. Even beings like Freeza, and even more powerful like Goku and Vegeta in the Buu arc could die to a planet blowing up in their face. That's usually a LOT of power most internet powerscalers generally get wrong.

>King Cold usually doesn't get as close as he did with Krypton, usually preferring to keep a few planets' distance between himself and whatever world he's destroying.
Damn, he's got some killer aim to be sniping planets across their solar systems.

Will never not bother me how most planets (and interstellar bodies in general) are just highly reactive omega nukes that blow up with the right stimulus at the right angle. I mean, at least it takes effort and intent to do something like that no matter how strong you are for some reason. It'd be curtains for the canon Dragon Team if their world allowed a villain with more than 2 braincells that just went on the opposite side of the Earth and boomed it Whis Ex Machina doesn't exist, what are you talking about
>>
>>5677348
Once you've mapped the star system and know the movements of the planets, firing at where something will be instead of where it is is easy. Especially with practice.
True. But if you throw enough power into something, you get it to kaboom. I mean, look at New Salda after the siege and how little relative power Karn put in to get the planet to erupt. It is all about directing and channeling the power.
Pre Res F, the only one who did such a thing was Kid Buu, only that first shot was stopped by an equal power from the Super Saiyans. So that little menace went full overkill, making one they couldn't have stopped. And we see how that went.
>>
>>5677461
>Once you've mapped the star system and know the movements of the planets, firing at where something will be instead of where it is is easy. Especially with practice.
I like to imagine the first models of scouter had a targeting system for celestial bodies just for the sake of Cold's convenience.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 197 Intermission-

AGE 756, KING COLD'S WORLD

“If going through the vault is all you're after, then go for it. Just don't do anything else.” Chilli son of Karn says to the being who'd suddenly appeared, before his entire demeanor changes, his voice dropping as he delivers his threat. “I know where you live. And not you, your Stand, nor the Supreme Kai himself can stop me.”
“Excellent, I could feel a shiver from that one. Well done.” Kars says, the strange alien that had suddenly appeared when time stop seemingly unphased by the Reaper's threat. “And what of you? Any cutting words before you depart?”
“Something's been watching us.” his father Karn, one of the biggest men you've ever seen says simply, the Kai's eyes widening in surprise. “We're not alone.”

“SHIT!” you think to yourself, willing yourself to not move an inch at this. You are now known as Ainz Ooal Gown, once one of the members of a dmmorpg guild of the same name. When the game servers had been shut down you'd still been in the game, having dozed off. And when awakened, you'd become your avatar and leader at the helm of your guild with all the npc's and powers intact. But in this world, rather, this universe, the one true law was power. And the Saiyans most certainly have that. When the time stop had first started you'd frozen, watching unmoving as the strange being called Kars simply appeared. He had spoken with both Chilli and his father Karn, both of whom are completely unphased by time suddenly stopping and indeed seemingly expected it. The whole time you'd been listening intently, but somehow the father, Karn, seemingly SENSED your focus. You will yourself to not move, to not give away that you've heard everything they had been talking about. Especially what he said about breaking into King Cold's vault. But Kars seems to take Karn's words seriously, looking over the table back and forth once. Your eyes meet for a split second, but he seemingly doesn't recognize that you are conscious.

“Then I'd better get moving.” he says, quickly rushing from the room. Karn then turns his attention to his son who nods once, laying his hand upon his father. Karn then uses the Instant Transmission technique, both Saiyans vanishing. And you are about to sigh out in relief, when the man Kars steps back into the room. “Good, they're really gone. Now, time to get the Silver Crystal.”

And as the man strides confidently from the room, you decide to take a gamble and cast a spell with a whisper.

“Perfect Unknowable.”

You instantly feel the magic take effect, seeing your own hands disappear before your eyes. Your entire body seemingly vanishes as you hear Kars's footsteps retreating, you pushing yourself up from the table. You don't make a sound as you quickly leave the table, hurrying after Kars as the man's steps echo out into the silence of the time stop world. Yet, as you do you can't help but feel uneasy, waiting around each and every corner for a second or two before the man continues his journey. Just as Karn had said before, you can almost feel the being you are pursuing's gaze searching for you as he walks the halls as if he owns the place. So you steel your resolve, determined to use Discern Enemy once he's around the next turn. But as he goes around the corner, you hear him take a few steps, then simply stop. You freeze as well, wondering why his footsteps stopped when the man calls out.

“That's enough skulking about, I know you're there.” the man says, projecting his voice back towards the hall you're standing in. “So, why don't you turn the corner there and show yourself?”

You freeze up for a moment, wondering how in the world you were noticed. Unless he had specific high-level thief skills, he shouldn't be able to notice you through Perfect Unknowable. It erases body heat, electric signals pulsing from the brain, wind moved by one's breath, it mutes and hides EVERYTHING. So how in the hell did he notice? But instead of pondering that you decide to comply, but that doesn't mean you have to do so completely defenseless.

“Body of Effulgent Beryl.” you say, casting the best defensive spell you have. Then you prepare a few other tricks, including Fly and a Triple Maximize Magic: Greater Magic Seal to store away Maximize Magic: Magic Arrow to buy you enough time and distance to use greater offense or defense spells should he attack. Satisfied with your preparations you then turn the corner, dropping your hold on the spell as you see Kars standing before a pair of absolutely massive doors.

“Impressive. Not many can see through Perfect Unknowable.” you say, holding your arms out to your sides in as non-threatening a manner as you can manage. “Tell me, how could you detect my presence?”
“Now now, that would be giving away one of my secrets. And secrets are a very valuable commodity.” Kars replies with a smirk, one that tries to show no direct threat. But you see the exact opposite. The man standing before you is a shark, one with the power to not be afraid of the Super Saiyans. “Now, do pray tell: what do you think you're doing following me? Hasn't anyone ever told you to not interfere in the business of gods, necromancer?”
>>
>>5677956
“Even gods must know of the Laws of Hospitality. Especially gods.” you counter, drawing a raised brow from Kars. “As a guest in the house of Cold, I am obligated to make every effort to aid and assist his household and his other guests while I remain in his realm. And I just caught an intruder.”
“Hmph. You're a more civilized being than the Saiyans, that's for sure.” Kars says, now turned fully towards you as he looks you up and down once. “A magic caster, one not afraid of me and who knows the Obligations of Guest and Host. What is a being like yourself doing mixed in with this crowd?”

“My business is between myself and the host, as well as his guests. Which you are not.” you reply, preparing yourself as you see an ugly look come over the otherwise admittedly beautiful man's face. “Now, I will ask this once. Step away from the vault.”
“You really take those old laws seriously, huh?” Kars asks, then sighs out. “Very well. Za Warudo, take him out.”
“Wha-!” you have time to exclaim, recognizing that name, only for a massive force to suddenly slam into your chest. Upon which you immediately activate your spell. “Body of Effulgent Beryl, activate!”

Activating the spell, you suddenly teleport back a few feet from where you'd been hit at, the attack leaving no damage. But immediately you realize that you're in trouble. You may not have known too awful much of the old anime scene, but you know enough to recognize a Super Saiyan, and you know what Za Warudo is. The fact you couldn't see it only confirms that this is the work of a Stand. How this being got a vampire's Stand is beyond you, but that's a problem for later. Right now, you have to win this fight!

“Greater Magic Seal Release!” you command, three magical circles appearing around you. Each one unleashes a storm of hundreds of magical arrows, filling the hall with magic. You then see the needle-like magical projectiles hitting something invisible, no doubt the Stand as Kars turns his focus from you back to the door. Then he does something surprising, his right hand turning into a green liquid a moment before shifting into another shape, somehow turning his hand into a squirrel! What the fuck is even going on? “Nani?”

You watch, stunned as the squirrel hops off Kars's stump of an arm, leaping directly into the circle that is clearly some sort of locking mechanism. But as the invisible Stand keeps guarding him from the hail of Magic Arrows, you realize that you have to go big. Using this much mana on a single attack might be a bit risky, but with time stopped you don't have a lot of options with your summons. You just have to hope that this works.

You swing your arm, firing forth a blade of reality-warping energy that cuts through the very air itself, rending reality. Kars sees this, yet somehow your blade slashes him well before the magical attack itself reaches him. Seems your reality-cutting magic can actually hurt Stands, good to know.

“What the-?” Kars exclaims as his body falls apart, his upper and lower body separating cleanly along the slash. You watch as he drops, but are sure this isn't over yet. So, as he falls, you ready another spell, drawing your right arm back.
“Maximize Magic: Gravity Maelstrom!” you shout, firing a black ball of gravity at the halved creature. Kars sees this coming, but instead of dying to the blast instead shouts out 'Kai Kai'. And just before your spell could finish him off, his body vanishes. Your spell slams into the ground, consuming his legs and lower body before cratering the ground and dispelling. “Tch.”

“Not a bad attack.” comes Kars's voice from behind you, you turning to see his upper body floating in the air. And before your eyes his lower body regenerates, even his clothes reappearing and after a second it is as if your attack never happened. “I really need to learn how to use magic myself, one of these days. But now is where we part ways. Kai Kai.”

The man disappears, you realizing immediately that he has to have opened the door. You turn, just in time to see the doors swinging back shut. And with only a moment to react, you use another staple spell of any great spellcaster.

“Greater Teleportation!” you shout, teleporting into the room before the vault door closes. You reappear inside, and instantly your jaw drops. “N-Nani?!”
“Quite the sight, isn't it?” Kars says from beside you, looking at the massive stockpile of wealth. Shelves line the walls going hundreds of meters up, treasures covering them as far as you can see. Golden coins are scattered across the floor as well, perhaps more than a foot deep at their deepest. But they seem to be the lesser treasures, stacked haphazardly together in comparison to the rest of the room. Statues of different beings are placed intermittently between large, clear cases, each one holding what seems to be a different sort of weapon. Swords, axes, spears, and other weapons you can't identify are held in these sealed cases. You even see one holding what look to be a collection of different energy sword handles as well! It is like the ancient British museums back on your original planet, except instead of housing the treasures of one world's empires, he has the plunder from hundreds of different planets all in one place. “He's been looting worlds for centuries, no mortal collection even comes close to rivaling the Cold Clan's wealth of conquest. Centuries of death, all proudly put on display here.”

And wealth is right. You're no stranger to wealth, having managed the funds and daily expenses of one of the greatest guilds in all of YGGDRASIL, back in Ainz Ooal Gown's heyday. But this vault is on a whole other level. The ENTIRETY of your own vault could fit in this space, seemingly several times over. Many items also radiate with magical power, such as the twin swords of crystal and flesh, its singular eye watching the two of you. For an instant you feel the weapon's compulsion, it trying to convince you to free and wield the blade. But such low level compulsion won't work on you. However, the rest of the treasures, each gleaming and in pristine condition each draws your eye, one at a time. Some items you faintly recognize, some weapons looking somewhat similar to many of YGGDRASIL's various weapons.

But after several seconds of looking at the mass of treasure before you you shake it off, realizing that now that you both are inside Kars hasn't tried to attack you. Instead, as he takes several steps into the room you see him pulling out what looks to be a compass from inside his robed attire. That immediately swivels around and points directly to himself.

“Haaaah, of course.” he says, closing his eyes. And to your surprise he changes, losing the pointy ears but also bulking up a little bit, then the needle turns and points towards the back of the room. “Much better.”
“What did you do?” you ask, confused. To which Kars smirks, walking forward while looking back over his shoulder.
“I merely suppressed my divine aura. This item is a Divine Seeker, used by the gods to locate wayward artifacts made by or infused with the power of the gods.” Kars explains, watching as the needle points deeper inside. “And it would seem what I seek is here.”

“I already told you, I will not-!” you start, Kars turning to you with a smirk that makes your blood run cold.
“You will not what? Let me go?” he asks, still smirking. “Do you really think that you can stop me now? Especially without DAMAGING the vault's treasures?”

Which stops you short. Most of your non-necromantic magic won't do anything to him, since your Reality Slash didn't harm him. Meaning you only have one choice to stop him now. You take a deep breath despite your lack of lungs, readying yourself.

“Dimensional Lock!” you shout, casting the area of effect spell. You're all in now, the next few seconds will decide how this all ends. “Skill: The Goal of All Life is Death!”
“What are you-?” he starts, but you're not done yet as you raise your right arm towards his chest, activating your favorite spell.

“Grasp Heart!” you call, a phantasmal heart appearing in your hand. Which you immediately crush, the clock on your back beginning to tick down. And the self-proclaimed god before you simply smirks.
“Really? Do you think crushing my heart will kill me?” he asks, sounding rather smug. So you decide to let him in on a little secret.
“It's over. In less than ten seconds now, regardless of time being stopped thanks to my immunity, my Instant Death magic will kill you.” you say with a grin, then add your favorite quote from an ancient show you'd discovered back in your first life. “Omae wa mou, shindeiru.”

Kars's eyes widen in shock, the clock ticking down another second in the silence before he takes off at full speed, blitzing towards the back of the room.

“Run all you want, you cannot flee far enough! My Temporal Lock spell keeps you from teleporting from this place.” you call out to the being as he flees. “You will die in this vault, a victim of your own greed, Kars.”

And you stay there between Kars and the only(presumably) door of this place, casting a few defensive measures just in case he decides to try and break past you. The time ticks down, but still you don't see the man. Ten seconds, eleven seconds, twelve.

BONG

The clock on your back strikes 12, your Grasp Heart spell going into effect. You can feel it take hold, the magic not fizzling out and feel that the arrogant, self-proclaimed god must have succumbed. So you start heading deeper into the vault, only for an alarm to suddenly ring out.

“Time must have resumed.” you mutter to yourself, walking in deeper into the vault. But before you can even take two steps, suddenly an alarm rings out and some sort of gas starts getting pumped into the vault. “Hrmm. Seems he broke into a case to get his prize before dying, setting off the alarms once time resumed. Well, better retrieve the body. Just to be sure.”

And as you walk deeper in, sure enough after a few moments you find the body of Kars laying on the ground. But, to your complete and utter shock, standing above Kars's dead body and holding an odd-looking staff with the gemstone Kars described earlier atop it is ANOTHER Kars, identical to the first! What in the hell is going on here?

Sasuga Ainz sama. Explaining your abilities before they can finish the job. Maybe if he'd have let Kars think he was fine he could have actually killed him hard enough to stop him from yoinking the doinky.

Not really. Kars cheats.
>>
>>5677960
You know if ainz didn't let Kars know he would have a set amount of time he wouldn't have cloned himself in time and would have straight up died.
Also curious if knowing that stands are a thing, whether ainz will try to get one or not?
>>
>>5677960
Yeah running his mouth cost Ainz, though I think he might have been screwed anyway, since I don't see the Squirrel Hand rejoining the rest of Kars's body, so he already had a secondary body to jump and regenerate too.

Still good job Ainz. You came closer to killing Kars then most in the galaxy could.
>>
>>5677979
Kars is gonna have bad dreams about that for a long while, he's also gonna probably keep on his head not to piss off necromancers any time soon.
>>
>>5677967
>Not really. Kars cheats.
This. He would have still “survived”, just wouldn’t have secured the item before doing so.
>>5677973
He still would have done so. After Chilli hit him with his Death magic, Kars had to develop a countermeasure.
>>5677979
Didn’t cost him, in fact it spared him. As if he hadn’t, Kars was positioning Za Warudo to decapitate Ainz. His declaration forced Kars ot switch priorities.

Oh yeah. His second ‘death’

Remember, AINZ’s build, as busted as it was, is a final season patched build as well. But there is NO patch for Kars.

I wonder how pissed Cold is gonna be to see not only his shit stolen, but Ainz in his vault. Even with the Kars corpse he's gonna have some explaining to do. I reckon what'll happen is Ainz will escape Cold's righteous fury by promising to get him some relic copies that can negate time stop like he himself is wearing. Which means he'll need to pull a favor with Chilli to get replica crystal things. So he's gonna need to do him a favor to get a favor. It's a whole process but by the end of it Cold will be immune to time fuckery. Which is not a fun thought for the Toilet Patrol.
>>
>>5678037
He will be... Understandably upset. Time stopped, and when it resumes his vault alarm is going off, one of Chilli's guests is gone, and Karn and Chilli AREN'T back yet. Ainz will now, since he killed Kars and that Kars's time stop ended. Leaving King Cold with video evidence it was Kars who attempted to steal from him.

>>
>>5678449
>Were he to create a new mask, he’d have to have found a flaw in his being.
Well clearly still being susceptible to other divine magics is a flaw.
For as far as he's come, he's currently gotten his shit ran by an overgrown monkey, his pygmy spawn, and the remains of a corpse without the good grace to stay dead.
>>
Kars is going to do something really big, really soon. He stole the artifact instead of waiting for King Cold to die and then take it. So what's making him rush?
>>
>>5678452
Ha. And its not so much a out what the crystal can do, but what KARS could imagine to do with its powers.
>>5678466
That’s why he needs to learn magic, to counter magic. And he knows a guy now, one who’d be eager to teach. But can Kars use magic?
>>5678470
A very pertinent question.
>>
>>5678470
>instead of waiting for King Cold to die and then take it
after king cold dies most of his shot will go to freesia. a fressia that will be far more powerful than king cold ever was or will be. Given the options I would pick king cold every time.

>>5678535
I've never seen anyone spell Frieza as "Fressia" before. But you have a point, Freeza is cracked.

True, King Cold does have his favorites.
Less so now than before Namek, but still his Golden child.
>>5678546
He is crazy strong, and not anywhere close to his peak.

It was said once upon a time in these threads but I'll repeat it as I remembered it; If the Time Patrol had to fight against a Frieza with the drive and determination to see his will be done, they would stand zero chance
>>
>>5678507
Kars knows Beerus is going to wake up soon...is it related to that?
>>
Looking at the silver crystals capabilities I have a thought. What if Kars wants to super charge the Kai Creation Tree, to make a supreme Kai fruit, and then eat it? It would make him a True Supreme Kai in every way that matters, the obvious successor to Old Kai, grant him Beerus’s protection for being an additional life line, and if Beerus dies VS Karn then that gives him the chance to Ascend Karn to the position.
>>
>>5678597
.....motherfucker, that might be his goal.
>>
>>5678597
>>5678601
It sounds like a dastardly plan. The question is, can he get away with it?
>>
>>5678578
Yes.
>>5678582
Yes, quite possibly.
>>5678597
Part of this is correct, that is all I can say. But he already IS a proper and true Kai.

>>5678638
He is always thinking several steps ahead
>>
>>5678597
nah he'll feed us the fruit, in order to try to suppress the anti-divinity power by smothering it in divine ki
>>
>>5678758
I imagine the only thing that would happen is Karn would get the shits.
>>
>>5678597
Personally, if I was Kars and had the macguffin gem, I would go the usual dragonball villain route of integrating it into my body with the goal of slowly absorbing its power until the entirety of it can be fully assimilated and made 100% mine.
So anyways that’s the premise for how I starred in a movie in which I beat everyone’s ass for about 18 minutes while screaming like an incoherent retard before the power of friendship (saiyans only) strikes me down like I’m made of wet tissue paper.
>>

>Karn eating ANYTHING from Kars's hands
What the fuck are you smoking, can I have some?
>>5678761
It is said that when The Legendary Super Shit was born, the entire galaxy fell into ruin under its power.
>>
>>5678597
If this is true, then U7 will straight up not qualify for any future low-margin ToPs. A Destroyer Karn and Supreme Kai Kars don't even need an Angel to run this fucking circus, and I can see them acting proactively to the point that the entire universe shit bricks at the sheer mention of their names, and the possible intervention involved, and the unholy retribution they would bring.
>>
>>5678758
That would be a terrible idea, for several reasons.
>>5678904
HA!
>>5678985
A fair point, would you accept something from Kars? Especially after what you're going to find out happened back at King Cold's place?

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

The day of Karn's granddaughter's second birthday arrived, everyone taking a mysterious crystal portal Chilli had created which took the Karn clan from New Salda directly to what seems to be a hilltop overlooking a massive castle. One with a magical, bubble-like barrier surrounding it. But then, after arriving see that others have arrived via similar portals. And Chilli unveils his new weapon, a mass of his magic crystal larger than several of Karn's homes put together that rains down explosive crystals, destroying the Demon King's castle fortress. Then, after joining King Cold for the birthday feast in honor of Meloka Wolbach's second birthday, Karn and Chilli were contacted by Kars, given the location of the cowardly god hiding in the golden helmet, Nabu. And as we rejoin Karn, you and your son stand victoriously over the body of the now-deceased god.

Your son stands over the body, chest heaving as he stares down at the body of the fallen god. Almost in disbelief. Then, to what you wish you could think was surprise, the body starts moving. As if something invisible just grabbed it by the ribcage, the god's body lifting up as if a child picking up a toy. But then his body explodes with a golden light straight into the sky as from his body comes an inhuman, ear-splitting screech. You and Chilli both are knocked back, flinching from the sudden shock.

“Gah!” you wince, shielding your face from the blinding light with your forearm.
“What's happening?!” your son shouts, but you don't know. However, after a few seconds, it finally ends. The light and noise fade, you seeing the body of the dead god is now gone, head and all. “He-He's really dead, isn't he? He's not getting back up, right?”
“I don't think so.” you say, not a hundred percent sure. But that light and noise did seem to be his final gasp. “But I believe he's gone.”

But then, just as you say this, suddenly your instincts warn you that, while not a threat just like back at King Cold's, SOMETHING is watching you both.

Well? What do you do?

“You did it kiddo. You really got him.” you say, walking over and placing your hand on his shoulder. “He's gone.”

The two of you stand there in silence a moment, before your son steps away, snapping his fingers and summoning his tome. He flips to the back of the book, cutting his right index finger open on a page as he begins writing. You don't recognize the script, but as he writes crystals cover the words, sealing them to the paper. Then, once he's done writing your son tears the page free, folding it carefully in three before pointing towards the still crystal-covered ground by his feet.

“Death Magic: Envoy.” he says, you watching as a little skeleton, perhaps one of a baby crawls up through the shattering crystal to stand by your son's ankle. He hands the skeleton the page, which is nearly as tall as the skeleton. It clutches the letter to its chest, slowly sinking back down into the ground.

“What was that?” you ask him, confused. Your son snaps the book closed, turning back to you with a grin.
“I just sent word to Lord Jergal that Nabu has finally been killed.” your son answers, but as he does you feel it again. That same sensation of someone, or something watching this all happen. You don't feel any immediate malice from the gaze, in fact it feels quite the opposite. You can feel the watcher's terror.
“We've got a problem kiddo, something's watching us.” you say to you son telepathically, your son freezing in place for a moment. You turn, looking back over the table of the gathered beings only to realize that they're covered in your son's crystals and ask aloud, “Why did you do this?”

“To protect them, as Nabu clearly didn't care about their lives.” your son answers, walking over to the table and pressing his hand to it. Immediately the crystals covering the table shatter, disintegrating into particles of light before disappearing out in a radius from his hand. But as he does this you watch the eyes of the gathered people, and as your son uses his magic, one set twitches at the noise. You have your man. As the crystals begin disappearing you walk over, standing across from the man wearing the red suit with a yellow lightning bolt in a circle in the center of his chest and look down at him.

“So, it was you I sensed.” you say, the eyes widening in shock as the man's still covered in your son's crystals. Chilli stops, looking up to see who you're speaking to. “Seems that you can see me, but can't move. Chilli, free him.”
“Are you sure?” your son asks, you nodding. He then walks over, laying his hand on the man's back and quickly breaking him free. But,even freed of the ice, he doesn't move a muscle.
“Good. Once we leave and time resumes, you'll be able to tell the others what happened.” you say to him. “But, most importantly, why. So listen up.”

You then tell the red-suited man how Nabu had hired Lobo to try and kill you and your son years ago, and that the two of you have been hunting him since after beating Lobo. Which widens the man's eyes even further, glancing over to the one called Superman.

“Yeah, the same Lobo who captured the Kryptonian. He nearly killed both of us, on that bastard's orders.” you say, gesturing back towards Nabu's body. As you do, you see the woman's body still there, and for a moment feel kind of bad for her. Tricked by a god, her free will stolen and used as a meat shield for a god too weak to get his own hands dirty. “When we leave and time resumes, get her medical assistance immediately. If you're fast enough, she should probably survive this.”
“Let me check.” your son says, turning away from the now crystal-free group and bringing his tome back to hand, looking the woman over. “Yes, her life force is weakened, but she's strong enough to pull through with medical aid.”
“Great. Help her, then let these others know why we came here. You can do that for us, can't you?” you ask, the man barely managing a nod. It is incredibly slow, as if trying to nod through heavy gravity, but he gives you one.

“Time's up.” Kars suddenly thinks to you, then before you can react, time resumes. Well, shit.
“-lication to joi-Flash?!” Superman says, continuing what he'd been saying before shouting, rising up to his feet as the red suited man disappears in a blur, blitzing out of the room past your son and grabbing the woman's body on the way. “Karn? What are you doing here? Where's Dr. Fate? And who is that?”
“Kars? What's going on?” you think back, but get no response from the Kai. So you sigh out, addressing the Kryptonain and his allies directly yourself. Who all have risen out of their seats after seeing the headless god's corpse, looking ready for battle. All except the black-cloaked man, who remains seated. “It's kind of a long story.”

“Short version is this bastard was the cowardly god hiding out inside that golden helmet.” your son tells them, turning and walking over to stand beside you. “And he almost murdered me and my father.”

Various “huh”s and “what”s are exclaimed, but the only one who doesn't seem the least bit surprised is the dark cloaked man. Who simply presses his fingertips together, elbows resting on the table as he says a single word.

“Elaborate.”

“Don't worry guys, I saw everything and can explain what happened.” the red-suited man says as he blurs back into the room, stopping by your side and offering his hand. “Name's Flash by the way.”
“An appropriate name.” you reply, shaking his offered hand. “I'll have to introduce you to Burter sometime, to see which of you two is faster.”
“I won't lose in a race to anyone.” he replies with a smile, turning back to his allies. “So, someone just slowed time down to an absolute crawl.”
“Wait, slowed? Not stopped?” you ask, the man shaking his head. “Really?”

“Well, for most beings a time slow and stop are virtually identical anyways, on a practical level. Given most people's processing speed is based on the normal flow of time, slowing down reality beyond that would make it seem as if their time has stopped.” the dark cloaked man says. “But the mechanics of that aside, why is there a dead man in the central sanctum of my Watchtower?”

Well? What now?

“A few years ago, my son and I were attacked by Lobo.” you say, addressing the group as Flash walks back over to his seat, sitting back down. “And he'd been sent by that god over there, Nabu.”
“Do you have proof of this?” the dark-cloaked man says, the Flash turning to him.
“C'mon Batman, do you really think they'd lie about something like that?” Flash asks, the 'Batman' scowling at him.
“I at least can confirm Lobo tried to murder them.” Superman says, everyone at the table turning to him. “While we were captured, he did speak of both of you. Mainly he tried to make fun of me, saying a child came closer to killing him than I did. But he never said who sent him.”

“Just like a mercenary.” Batman continues. “But if Dr. Fate did send Lobo after you, what was the purpose?”
“He doesn't like us because we no longer have fates.” your son says, everyone looking to him. “Father broke his own fate, changing the course of our people's destiny. We were, by the words of the Supreme Kai of Time herself, supposed to have died out almost two decades ago.”
“Undo your fate?” the dark-skinned man asks, sounding confused. “What do you mean? There is no such thing as destiny, we all make our own choices.”
“Yes. But the choices anyone makes can be predicted, based on past decisions and emotional states.” Batman says, staring at your son quite intensely. “So when you say that your father broke his fate, he changed the course of history by acting out of character at some pivotal choice.”

“That's a discussion for another day, for now we need to focus.” you say, then think to Chilli. “Tell your mother and everyone else back at King Cold's place where we are.”
“Of course.” he replies also telepathically, you then addressing the room at large.
“Lobo accepted the job of killing me and my son by Nabu, then after I and Lord Freeza beat back Lobo, Chilli hunted down Nabu who'd hired him.” you continue. “My son nearly destroyed him back then, but at that time another deity interfered by stopping time, taking Nabu away right before Chilli could land the finishing blow. And only just minutes ago were we told of his whereabouts, by the same deity.”

“So, you came here and extracted your vengeance against him, finishing off the job.” the non-winged woman says, brows furrowed. “But why would the god who saved Nabu before now abandon him, leaving him for the wolves?”

Which is a very good question.

“I....” you start, finding yourself at a loss for words. You hadn't even thought about it, leaping on the chance to help Chilli get vengeance for Nabu's crimes. You hadn't even considered what ELSE Kars could want there while you and your son, the only two who can move around in stopped time would do. And you feel a chill crawl up your spine, remembering what Mechikabura had told you of Karn Jr's potential and how others would try and steal him away to use for their own ends.

“Dad, trouble.” Chilli says, frowning. “Some sort of alarm's going off and Megumin told me Ainz has disappeared as we did.”
“Dammit, we're leaving now.” you tell your son, immediately putting your right hand to your forehead as he grabs onto your left arm. Focusing on Freeza's overwhelming power, you lock on immediately as you can sense he's in his Golden form. With a thought you and Chilli teleport, leaving this 'Watchtower' behind and reappearing beside the golden emperor. Standing beside his father, also in his strongest form while shoving his fist into an indent in the giant stone double doors before them. “What's going on?”
“Ah, Karn. Good, you're back.” Freeza says, turning back towards you as there's an audible thunk, the doors slowly sliding open inwardly. Only for your instincts to again go off, blazing at the presence of some immediate danger in the doorway.

“Get back!” you shout, lunging forward and grabbing King Cold by the arm before hauling him out of the doorway. As you do, suddenly three explosions go off just inside the doorway. Sending you all sliding back across the stone floor. But had King Cold been caught in the explosions, he could possibly have taken some serious damage. “What the hell?”
“Damned wizards.” King Cold snarls, then turns to you and his expression softens noticeably. “Thank you Karn.”
“SHYAAAA!!” Freeza snarls, blitzing recklessly into what is very quickly apparently a treasure vault. You turn and watch him fly in, seeing the room full of all sorts of glittering, sparkling and golden items everywhere. But before he can leave your sight, again everything stops. Freeza, King Cold, and Meloka all stop, no doubt Kars' handiwork once more. Or, perhaps the work of that one skeleton wizard Ainz?

Well? What do you do?

“How do we handle this?” you ask Chilli, turning to your son. “You know him better, what do we do?”
“Crystal Magic: Crystal Barrier.” your son says, creating a crystal sphere around King Cold to seal off the doorway before turning back to you. His expression is dark, but then he changes. You watch his eyes widen in surprise, your son's jaw dropping a bit before turning back to you. “Stay close to me and don't say anything, we're going to sneak in. Dark Magic: Cloak of Night!”

A dark fog drops over the both of you, your son holding a finger to his lips while gesturing for you to crouch as he is and come over to him. Which you do without complaint, thinking to him.

“What's going on?” you ask with a thought, following your son through the darkness as he leads the way.
“Ainz confronted Kars, trying to stop him from stealing that crystal.” your son replies with his thoughts, leading you deeper and deeper into the dark fog now hanging over everything, leaving the shelves, statues, etc. surrounding you both barely visible. “And he actually killed him. But, according to Ainz, there's now ANOTHER Kars, one determined to kill him in return.”

“Do you trust him?” you ask your son, who stops for a moment and turns to face you before responding with a thought.
“That's the only reason I agreed to go with you after Nabu. I wasn't leaving Kars here with my wife and daughter without someone I trust watching over them.”

His thoughts show just how distrustful your son is, but how much more ahead he'd thought of than you. You'd just dove in headfirst after that bastard with no thought to leaving Kars here with your family, simply trusting that he had no ill intentions towards your family. A really sobering thought, the two of you moving forward in silence until suddenly there's a massive blast, the robed skeleton flipping backwards out of the blast with a strange blue glow around his body. He flips around back towards the blast, leveling his hand at it and shouting something. But from within your son's spell, it sounds barely louder than a whisper. A second later comes Kars, in his pink-haired state with his aura blazing, arms held down by his sides smugly. Then three massive bolts of lightning drop from the ceiling down onto him, but the Kai isn't worried. Instead he blazes his aura up, catching the blast and letting the electricity dance around the edge of his energy. Your son then tugs on your arm again, you turning to see his finger pressed to his lips before muttering something, and you hear Kars speaking.

“-or a lesser being. But no pitiful magic you have can stop me.” Kars tells him, you seeing his Stand Za Warudo out before him with its hands up defensively. “If you lay down and surrender, I'll take your life painlessly. But, continue to resist and I'll make this painful.”
“You seem rather insistent on having me give up quickly. Which suggests that you can't keep this going for long.” Ainz replies, once more gathering magical circles around his outstretched hand. “All I have to do is stall you until my backup arrives, and they'll put you down.”

“They? You mean the Saiyans? HA!” Kars exclaims, looking down on the skeleton smugly. “Karn may be a powerhouse, but Nabu won't fall so easily. I could kill you four times over before the Saiyans manage to cut through his bullshit and end him. No, you're on your own, little skeleton. No one is coming to save you now.”

You look to your son and nod, Chilli nodding back before with a snap he ends his spell. Immediately Kars and Ainz both turns towards you, you rising up to your full height as Chilli creates his staff from crystals and summons his tome in his hands.

“Death Magic: Dust to Dust!” your son bellows, thrusting his staff directly at Kars. Whose eyes widen in shock, recognizing the attack your son used on him before. Instantly his Stand charges your son, you stepping into its way instantly. The golden Stand swings, you slamming your right fist into the Stand's. And despite you not being able to HURT the Stand without summoning your own, you stop it right in its tracks.
“Impossible! How are you here?!” Kars shouts, sounding equal parts shocked and furious. “There is no way Nabu fell THAT easily to you?!”

“Nabu is nothing compared to what I am now.” your son declares, you raising your arms as Kars's Stand starts swinging wildly at you.
“Muda! Muda! Muda! Muda! Muda! Muda! Muda! Muda!” his Za Warudo shouts, firing punch after punch at your guard. But you are far beyond his Stand's strength, keeping yourself between it and your son as Chilli keeps casting.
“Why are the two of you stopping me?” Kars asks, suddenly stopping his stand and pulling it back to himself while your son's magic keeps erasing the Kai. You look up, watching as his left hand has completely been turned to dust. “I gave you what you wanted, why won't you do the same?”

“You tried to play us.” your son replies with a snarl, his golden hair showing from beneath his hat's brim as he stares with emerald eyes at the Kai. “Did you think we would betray King Cold just for vengeance? We're not traitorous bastards led about by our base instincts!”
“Oh, aren't you?” he asks, as suddenly a wicked grin comes to his face. Your instincts start screaming at you that you both are in danger, but then everything changes. No longer are you standing before Kars, but instead standing back at the door from the inside, Kars smashing through Chilli's crystals and slashing a blade of ki across the frozen King Cold's neck before blitzing out into the rest of King Cold's place. Then you're back, knowing what's about to happen. “And since you're here, that can only mean one thing. Later!”

With that Kars tries to blitz past you all, to fly out of the vault the way you and Chilli'd come in. But you were ready, thanks to that glimpse of the future that could be. And the instant Kars blasts off you leap, jumping and catching Kars by his face!

“GRRAAAAA!!” you roar, slamming his head into the shelves along the wall, smashing through them and slamming Kars into the reinforced side of the vault. Pinning him in place.“Gack! D-Dammit. Not like this!” Kars snarls, creating a ki blade from the stump of his left arm and thrusting it for your neck. You respond by creating your Energy Body just in time, his blade stabbing into your armor. But not deep enough to strike your flesh, your ki stopping his attack short. Then with a snarl you yank him from the wall, spinning and slamming him down head first into the ground, cracking and shattering the stone you land on. Like HELL you're letting him kill King Cold for this! “I can't fall, not here! Not for this!”

At that moment your instincts once again scream at you in warning, that you're in extreme danger as the crystal atop the staff he holds in his right hand begins to glow. The light grows brighter and brighter, something's about to happen!

But what do you do?

>Let go of Kars and grab the staff, tear it out of his grip and send it flying away so he can't finish
I wonder if the guy from a couple years back with the Kars hateboner is feeling vindicated right now. I'm having a hard time thinking of a reason to spare Kars for all this bullshit. So far his sins are
>Trying to mess with our friends
>Starting shit at our granddaughter's birthday party
>Being a divine prick
>Manipulating our murderlust
>Being sneaky and stealing people's shit
And this is just today. The way I see it rn, if we don't wreck his shit posthaste, he'll get emboldened later on when we can no longer directly pose a threat to him. I don't want a Kars who would feel confident enough to attack our descendants.

You see the weapon about to activate, or at least you assume so from how its glowing. And without hesitation you release Kars, putting both hands on the staff. And with all the power in your body you stand up, tearing the staff from his remaining one and flinging it back down the way he'd originally come.

“Dammit!” Kars snarls, but there's something wrong with his voice. And for just a moment, as you turn back towards him, his eyes have changed. The sclera have turned red, his iris both a gleaming gold. But it only lasts a single instant, returning to the usual colors of his transformation as he leaps up horizontally and plant both feet into your chest, kicking you. You brace yourself against this, but Kars uses this to launch himself the opposite way. “Damn you!”
“No you DON'T!” you roar, reaching out and trying to grab him with your telekinesis. You grab him by the right arm, halting him in place. But Kars doesn't hesitate, ripping his own arm off in your grip and continuing to fly away. “DAMMIT!!”

“Wall of Skeleton!” Ainz shouts, raising a wall of bones in front of Kars. But that doesn't slow him down, the Kai smashing his way through without slowing down.
“You can't escape!” your son shouts, chasing him while bracing his staff arm with the book in his other. “You bastard, you're dying this time!”
“Something's not right.” you think to yourself, taking off after Kars as he flies. Then the vision you just had flashes in your mind, your eyes widening in shock. No, you're not letting this happen! So, instead of chasing, you stop, raising your right hand to your forehead and focus. King Cold and Freeza's auras are blazing, you focus on Freeza's father and teleport right to him. You reappear just outside your son's crystal barrier, then a second later see Kars's blazing form charging straight towards you. But as he does, you see the shock on his face that you'd beaten him there.

“Dammit!” he snarls, divine aura blazing up around him as he doesn't slow down. But this time, you're ready, planting your feet. “You won't stop me!!”
“HAAAA!!” you roar in response, aura blazing as you charge. Kars has regenerated his right arm, drawing his Ki Blade as he flies straight at you. He swings down in a vicious overhead chop, you catching his right wrist with your left hand. And with a bit of strength crush his wrist, shattering the bones of his arm.
“GYAAAAH!!” he cries out in pain, trying to get away from you. But your grip is absolute, holding him in place as his left arm completely disintegrates into dust, his shoulder starting to vanish as well. “HRRRRAAA!”

Kars tries to kick you square in the chest, you catching his left foot in your right hand easily. Then, keeping your grip on both appendages tight you raise your own right boot, planting a devastating right front kick square into his chest. Launching Kars's body backwards, tearing off his arm and leg this time.

“Gaaaaaah!!” he cries out in pain, landing in a tumble on the ground before rolling to a stop, bleeding purplish blood onto the golden coins scattered across the floor. He then snarls out something in a language that you don't understand but feels vaguely familiar, as if you've heard the angry-sounding tongue somewhere before. But where? “You're dead, Saiyan! You hear me! You're gonna pay for what you did to me before!”

Well, you've protected King Cold from your vision coming true so far. But what now?

“This ends now.” you say, stalking towards the fallen Kai as he starts regenerating once more. “Divine Dragon Force, end him.”
“GRRROOOAAAAAR!!” your Stand bellows, Kars's eyes widening in shock as he sees your Stand. Immediately he tries summoning his Za Warudo to stop you, but he's far too slow. Before his Stand has even materialized you've closed the distance, driving your Stand-wrapped fist straight through his guts just as his regeneration finished. He gasps out in pain breathlessly, your Stand wrapping him up in its grip until it brings its head up beside yours, glaring at the Kai.

“What are you waiting for?” you ask the Stand, its eyes flashing once. And before your eyes Kars now starts disintegrating from his core as well. Kars looks down at his core, where your fist and Divine Dragon Force are, watching as his body disappears. But, as you watch the damnedest thing starts happening. Kars's body keeps vanishing, but he smirks, then his head splits into two! Not in half, but into two separate heads! “What the-?!”
“Foolish.” the one on the left says as it turns, firing beams from its eyes and severing the other head from the body. But as the head separates, it starts regenerating, growing into a second body. However, even with the second body it starts disappearing as well, Divine Dragon Force still connected to its energy. That is, until the body changes, taking on a new, familiar form. “But you won't kill me.”

Instead of Kars now stands before you Lord Boros, who with a grunt regenerates his body back to normal. Your attack finishes disintegrating Kars's remains, but you're left dumbstruck as Boros of all people stands before you. Since when could he shapeshift? And why does his ki feel... Wrong? You couldn't sense his ki as Kars, as that form is divine and you can't sense divine ki. But you can sense Boros's, and it doesn't feel like you remember.

“Meteoric Burst!” Boros shouts, charging straight for you before you can contemplate further. You block the initial attack, King Cold shouting from behind you.
“What? Boros? What is he doing here?” Freeza's father asks as you defend yourself from the rapid assault. “Where is Kars?”
“Kars was never here!” you shout, ducking an overhand left and driving your right fist into Boros's guts just as you had Kars, shouting to Divine Dragon Force once more. “Kill him now!”
“RRRAAAA!!” the crimson-scaled Stand bellows, exploding out from around your hand to once more wrap itself around the target. Again the Stand's eyes flash, Boros's body beginning to disintegrate as well. But the cyclops isn't the figure's true form either, as before your Stand even activates its form shifts once more. This time to Boros's assistant, the multi-headed being. “DIE.”

“We won't die. We do not fall here. Yes, this is good.” the different mouths say, one head sprouting wings and flapping itself off from the body as your Stand activates, destroying this far weaker being much faster. But as the head regenerates a body, King Cold surges forward, swatting it to the ground then trying to stomp it out. But as he does the being shifts once more, taking on the appearance of a pink blob.

“WHAT?!” he exclaims, stepping back several steps with fear clear in his voice. The blob starts taking shape, resembling Majin Buu. Or, rather Captain Ginyu, armor taking shape as he stands proudly before you, hands on his hips.
“Well, so much for that plan.” Captain Ginyu says, taking his usual fighting stance. “But I'm getting through that door, and there's nothing you can do to stop me!”
“Ginyu? Why?” King Cold asks, a hard, accusatory edge to his voice. But from the captain's expression, he's clearly not in the mood to talk. “Didn't I give you what I promised? What is the meaning of this?”

But what do you do now?

“That's not Ginyu!” you shout, focusing your ki behind your eyes. Immediately not Ginyu frowns, but before he can act you fire. “HAAAAA!!”
“What?” King Cold asks as you fire your twinned beams, your attack taking this creature right through the eyes.
“FUCK!” the imposter shouts as your beams punch straight through the Majin's head, you redirecting the beams with a thought. Before the 'Ginyu' can recover your beams come back, punching twin holes through his chest then directing them straight into the air, then dropping both down straight through his head. At this hit it tries to escape, pulling itself through the cutting beams away and to your right, your energy slicing through it and cutting Ginyu to pieces. But as the all fall in a pile his parts all rejoin, the imposter Ginyu rising back to his feet. Only to again take a pair of shots through the neck, you redirecting your beams again. “Gahk!”

“You will not escape!” you snarl, pouring more and more energy into your attack to sustain it while the strain blooms burning in your mind. You redirect your attack over and over again, carving up Ginyu. Were he anyone else, he would have fallen. But with the body of Majin Buu, he refuses to fall. No matter how many pieces you cut him into. “Stop hiding and show your true face, coward!”

“Karn? Ginyu? What in the world is going on here?” Freeza asks, you not able to divert your attention to look to see where your friend is. But hearing his voice you call out.
“Don't get any closer, this isn't Ginyu!” you shout, redirecting your beams back through the back of this fake's head and out through his eyes, again blinding him and keeping the creature blinded. “It disguised itself as Kars, then Boros, now Ginyu!”
“What?!” Chilli shouts, your son having no doubt shown up as well.
“Greater Domination!” you hear Ainz say, the skeleton no doubt trying something to stop the shapeshifter. But as 'Ginyu' keeps trying to avoid your attacks, trying unsuccessfully to get his bulk out of the way, you have a feeling it didn't work. “Tch. Very well, let's try this. Magic Boost. Bless of Magic Caster. Penetrate Up. Paranormal Intuition. See Through. Discern Enemy!”

And as you keep 'Ginyu' occupied with your beams, feeling the agony in your head swelling and threatening to pop, just as you reach your limit Ainz shouts out.

“His name is Majin Ozotto!” the skeleton calls, you ending the attack and dropping to a knee, clutching your head.
“Well well, looks like I've been found out.” the imposter before you says, shape changing once more. But as it takes on a form you haven't seen since Namek, you feel the back of your right hand suddenly feel as if it were somehow doused into flames. Son of a bitch, you thought you'd killed this asshole for good.

The one King Cold ORIGINALLY made the plans with was Kars. But the moment he was contacted with this whole “plans change” nonsense it was Ozotto. But the better question is who was Ozotto pretenting to be to get close enough to touch the Kars, Boros, Ginyu, and Melzagard of YOUR timeline to avoid setting off your other timeline detection built into the seal?

>>
>>5679734
Would you want to come down when everyone thought you were fucking around? To be seen as another clone or something? Or confuse everyone by saying you weren't that guy who is you when you weren't even there but he was when you couldn't have been?

It's honestly the smart thing to do to sit back.
>>
>Mfw it was Majin Fagzotto the entire time
Son of a BITCH. It's ALWAYS FUCKING TIME TRAVELERS CRASHING OUR PARTIES

Annoyance aside, here's my thoughts now that we know a little more of whats going on: His erratic and honestly clueless behavior from when we confronted him was the first subtle hint that things were amiss. Look at this from when we got the jump on him
>“I gave you what you wanted, why won't you do the same?”
The real Kars would've known DAMN WELL why we were pissed, and instead of having the typical Kars snark, he feigned innocence. But the real question is who Majin Ozotto peetended to be.

If Ozotto just got to touch only Boros, Ginyu, and Melzagard, this would be pretty hard to pin down. But him tapping Kars is a dead giveaway that he, at some point, killed and replaced either Shin, Kibito, or Elder Kai.
>>
>>5679801
He could have been a servant at the time....I don't think he did much beyond larp as the Dark Matter Pirates to get an in to steal Shin and Buu's look.Hell he could have been one of our crew to reach that fight.
>>
>>5679734

>>5679739

>>5679801
Yes, they do tend to do that.

“YOU!” you snarl, remembering how this bastard attacked you and your wife at Chilli's wedding, and again tried causing trouble on Namek during that battle as well. You feel your blood boil, the rage overwhelming the pain as you surge back up to your feet. But before you can attack, Chilli's already closed the distance from behind, wielding his staff covered in crystals shaped into a massive, wickedly curved scythe, radiating with an energy that causes your instincts to trigger and want you out of his range IMMEDIATELY. But this monster isn't even phases, swatting your son aside with his tail the instant he swings and sending him flying. “BASTARD!”

But as you surge forward, the creature's form shifts once more. And as you punch, your own hand catches it. You're staring down yourself, Majin Ozotto smirking at you with your face.

“Ohh, your power always feels so GOOOOOD to use, Saiyan.” he says, then with a roar powers up. Emerald aura blazing, it knocks you and everyone else back before he draws an identical sword and hammer, holding both weapons out to his sides. “Ready to die by your own hand?”
“Enough of this!” Freeza snarls from somewhere behind him, but as you sense Freeza's ki approach the Ozotto you it actually weaves the attack, twisting his upper body counterclockwise before driving a knee up into Freeza's guts before slamming the pommel of the duplicate sword down onto the back of his head, dropping Freeza at his feet.

“Too easy.” Majin Ozotto says, raising the hammer for a finishing blow. But then King Cold steps forward, drawing his azure energy blade with an audible humm.
“You come into my home. Pretend to be my allies, and attempt to steal from me. Then you attack my son.” he says, his voice one filled with barely-restrained rage. “You will not leave this place alive.”

Well? What do you do?

So I'm going to ask this, despite the cause being Majin Ozotto. Are we still gonna give Kars the beating of his life or just settle with a do'h slap or spankings next time we see him? Or even let him off the hook
>>
>>5680056
This was just Ozotto's fuckery, and all of our anger should be directed into turning him into swiss cheese. We ARE going to get an answer for why the fuck he didn't say anything when there was a body snatcher on the loose and he knew of it. Kars is just back to being untrustworthy.
>>
>>5680062
I mean being a crafty fuck aside, would you risk telling them the news while said body snatcher is within ear room to counteract. Thus ruining the chance to get rid of them permanently. Or would you trust said guy to handle it since said body snatcher is a double bitch and not a major threat?

“Let's go!” you shout to King Cold, drawing your own blade in both hands and kicking off the ground towards Majin Ozotto.
“Do not give me orders, boy!” King Cold roars, but still follows behind as you lunge. The shapeshifter smirks as you charge, catching your powerful overhead chop with the hammer and sword crossed, the stone ground cracking beneath his feet as he absorbs the shock of your blow. But, having to stop your blow with both weapons leaves him vulnerable, King Cold weaving to your left and slicing upwards in an elegant slash. And as King Cold lands, planting his feet for a follow up attack you see the imposter's arm from the elbow down fly off, still holding onto the sword.

“What?!” he exclaims, clearly not knowing how devastating King Cold's weapon is. Who follows up with a thrust for the copy of you's face, Ozotto leaping back and dodging the finishing blow. Only for you to be right on top of him again, planting your feet while sliding and swinging a full power horizontal slash from right to left. Again forcing the Majin to turn his attention to you. But instead of blocking he uses the hammer's power, slamming it into your weapon. Unleashing its powerful shock wave, knocking you both back. Having planted your feet you remain standing, while Ozotto used the blast to launch himself back further away from you. And the rapidly-approaching King Cold, his face twisted in fury as he leaps down in the most devastating Djem So attack. “Dammit!”

Majin Ozotto brings up the hammer, trying to shield himself from the devastating heavy blow, only for King Cold's energy blade to slam down onto it, driving the blade of the hammer down into his own right shoulder as the weight of King Cold's drop knocks him to the ground.

“Gaaah! GRRAAAAA!!” the fake roars, emerald ki exploding out from him as he unleashes an Explosive Wave, repelling King Cold. But then, just as he rolls back onto his feet you've closed in once more, thrusting the blade for his face. Forcing Ozotto to clumsily deflect your strike with the hammer, you taking the momentum and spinning around into a horizontal slash. He doesn't try and block this one, instead leaping back once more and crashing through a display of a broken pair of giant red scissors. But as he lands, he immediately looks down. You do as well, and see that all of a sudden, his legs from mid-shin down are trapped. Frozen in place, held down by very familiar looking crystals.

“Get him now!” Chilli calls, and you do. As one, you and King Cold lunge forward.

“D-Damn you!” Majin Ozotto snarls, not sparing a glance aside at your son as he sees you and King Cold charging him. “Tch. So be it. I'm not dying alone!”

And in a flash of understanding you realize what's about to happen, the shapeshifter dropping the weapon and crossing his left arm and right stump before him as you feel 'your' ki suddenly exploding. You slide to a stop, grabbing King Cold with your left hand and jerking him back while dropping your sword in your right, extenting your hand out towards him.

“BARRIER!” you shout, creating one of your shields. Not around yourself and King Cold, but around that other you. And as the shield hardens and materializes around him, that Karn unleashes your Red Dawn blast.
“GRRAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” he roars, the inside of your shield turning crimson as his energy explodes, trying to take all of you and possibly the planet down too. And after a second of trying to hold that blast back, you realize that you can't do it. Your Barrier begins cracking almost immediately, the full weight of his power slamming into your body.
“SHIT! I can't hold it back! It's gonna blow!” you shout, the cracks spiderwebbing across your Barrier. But then a hand lays itself on your left shoulder, a surge of ki flowing through you. You look back over your shoulder, seeing Freeza standing there with a smirk. “Freeza!”

“You ruined my surprise attack, but that was quite the performance.” he says, nodding to you. “Now, let's make sure he doesn't destroy father's home.”
“Right!” you exclaim, redoubling your efforts with Freeza's help. All the cracks are infused with Freeza's golden power you channel through yourself, the emerald orb quickly turning gold as his strength through you helps contain the blast. Then, as the pressure on your shield starts to decrease, the crimson glow from within the orb begins to fade. Revealing perhaps the monster's true form. “You!”

“Damn mortal scum.” Majin Ozotto says, his three red and yellow eyes glaring at you from within the shield. “To think I'd be completely bested by the likes of you. Inconceivable.”

But something tells you that this isn't finished quite yet.

What do you do?
>Drop the shield and continue the attack, don't give him a moment to rest
>Ask King Cold what he wants done with Majin Ozotto, this is his home after all

“Chilli, Ainz, restrain him.” you say, keeping your Barrier up around the demon. “Don't give it a chance to move or attack.”
“Right!” your son responds, turning to Ainz. Neither say anything, but after a moment your son turns back to the demon, drawing a single crystal into his hand. Crystal Magic, Crystallize!”

And he throws the small chunk of crystal through your barrier, striking Ozotto in the arm. Quickly the crystals grow, encasing the demon completely inside. Then, once the creature is completely sealed away, you then drop your Barrier with a sigh. Everyone gathers around, looking at the captured demon curiously. Except for King Cold, who is checking on his son from the attack he'd sustained earlier. Freeza does brush his worry off, telling his father he pretended to be down to try and go for a sneak attack once his focus was off of him. But then, with no pomp or fanfare, another being suddenly appears.

“Well, this is a right proper mess, isnt' it?” a familiar voice says, you all turning to see that another Kars has arrived, standing outside the vault. “To think, someone would impersonate me to get close to you all.”
“How do I know you're the REAL Kars?” King Cold says, stepping forward and drawing his blade once more. “This shapeshifter could copy your powers, how do I know you're not a SECOND one like him?”
“Y-Well, that is a fair point, actually.” Kars says, his indignation lasting only a split second before he considers it, thinking it over. “It knew of our plan somehow, so the being was probably from a future timeline trying to get the Silver Crystal before I could. However, it still bled purple.”

Kars then draws a small ki blade at the tip of his index finger, slashing it down his forearm. Kars bleeds, crimson blood running down his arm. He then holds his arm up, showing you all that he bleeds red. He then walks in, directly to King Cold, handing him something you can't quite see.

“As we agreed upon.” he tells Freeza's father, then turns to the rest of you. “Excellent work, capturing a being from outside our time. I have already contacted the Time Kai, to dispatch someone to transport this being out of this reality.”

As he says this you feel your own old anger at the Time Patrol rising. Kars, clearly seeing this.

“Don't worry, they're only going to come to take this creature away.” he says to you. “They damn well know what will happen if they try and fight against you. No, they're not sending a combatant, only someone with the capabilities to restrain this demon.”

And as he says this, there is a familiar flash of light, the burning sensation on the back of your hand growing more intense. The Time Patrol are here.

“Clever trick, Majin Ozotto, using beings from this timeline to hide yourself from temporal detection.” the youngish-seeming man says, stepping forward to see the monster. “You all may remove the crystals, I shall take it from here.”

Chilli looks from the man over to you, clearly uncertain. His powerlevel is absolutely nothing, you could crush this young man accidentally by moving too quickly. But there's something about him that makes you uneasy, he stands far too confidently despite being surrounded by beings millions upon millions of times stronger than himself.

“Well? Are you going to release this monster over to my custody or not?” he asks, now sounding rather annoyed as his Stand appears behind him. It is a dark purple humanoid with violet highlights, the man drawing a small capsule from inside his suit and dropping it to the ground, where it explodes into a small smoke cloud. “I have other things to do today, let's hurry and get this over with.”

What do you do?
>Tell Chilli to release him, stay ready to attack in case this person isn't with the Time Patrol
>Approach the apparent Time Patroller and ask how he plans to subdue the creature, if he needs assistance or if he can restrain such a powerful monster by himself

“We're not letting him out of there, he can take on others' appearances.” you reply. “If you're going to capture him, do it from within his new prison.”
“Hmph. Prudent, but you are making my job more complicated.” the man says to you before turning back to Majin Ozotto as the smoke clears from the item he'd dropped down. Revealing a small container with strange markings all over it. You look to the monster, all three of the creature's eyes widening in shock. “Oh, you seem to recognize this. That's right, Majin Ozotto. I'm going to seal you away once more into this rice cooker. As soon as my Enigma drops the crystal prison, you're going in here. And I talked with the Supreme Kai of Time, you're going to be spending the next four hundred years in here. Now, Enigma!”

His Stand flies over, slapping a hand onto the mass of crystals. But then the strangest thing happens. You watch as the crystals break, the ENTIRE boulder collapsing into a small white piece of paper, which the Stand then folds with its hands.

“I'm not going in there!” Majin Ozotto bellows, whipping its tail around towards the Time Patroller with an orb of rainbow energy, readying it to fire at the Time Patroller the instant he's freed. But as the beam's fired, Kars powers up into his godly form, stepping into the blast and protecting the Time Patroller. Stopping the blast with one hand. Majin Ozotto's jaw drops, eyes widening once again and the Time Patroller smirks. “Wh-What?!”

“Your third eye twitches at the left corner, when you're afraid.” the man says, his Stand coming up from behind Majin Ozotto and placing its hands on the monster's shoulders. Then, before your eyes the creature is also turned into paper, the patroller stepping forward and folding it several times over. He then takes a marker, one almost identical to the one you remember Guldo using, and writing presumably the monster's name on the paper before sticking it inside his suit. He then kneels down, pressing a button on the small cooker, it returning to a small capsule shape which he also puts into his pocket. “Thank you for the assist, Kars.”
“Of course, anytime.” the Kai replies with a bow, the man turning back to you.
“Here, your crystal back.” he says, taking the other paper and throwing it back where Majin Ozotto was standing just before vanishing in a flash of light. The paper unfolds, returning Chilli's crystals to how they were before. Just without the demon inside it now.

“Well, now that that's over.” Kars says, powering back down with a sigh and turning his attention back to King Cold. “Mind showing me around? I'll help you clean up this mess caused in my name in exchange.”

“Of course, just a moment.” King Cold tells him, turning around to you. “Did you get him?”
“Him? Oh, right. Yeah, Chilli and I took care of it.” you reply, it taking you a moment to realize who he's talking about. “He paid for what he did to my family.”
“Excellent. Freeza, if you would, please take everyone back to the third dining hall.” King Cold tells his son. “Kars and I have.... Business to discuss.”
“Of course Father.” Freeza says, gesturing for the rest of you to follow. You, Chilli and Ainz all follow Freeza, letting him lead you down several halls until you all return to the table.

“DADDY!!” Meloka Wolbach shouts, launching herself out of her mother's arms directly at your son. Who smiles, catching her in his arms and holding her to him. “Where did you go? When you an' Grandpa vanished, I was so worried!”
“It's okay kiddo, your Grandpa and I had to go take care of something really quick.” he tells her, Meloka looking from Freeza, to Ainz, to Chilli to you with a quizzical expression on her face. You quickly fill her in on everything telepathically as the skeleton returns to his place at the table, telling his followers not to worry and that he just hand to lend his aid to a problem really quick. Then mutters something about creating more items to counteract timestop.

“You really killed him?” Meloka asks as you sit down beside her, Broly looking to you with a serious expression on his face. “You got him?”
“Chilli got him, I just helped him do it.” you reply, looking over as you hear your granddaughter laughing. Just in time to see your son holding her up over him with both hands, the young girl giggling. “But that bastard's not going to threaten our family ever again.”

The rest of the meal goes on uneventfully, King Cold rejoining you all after a few minutes. He returns back in his usual form, sitting at the table while Freeza shows up still in his Golden form. Then, as the meal dies down, King Cold rises to his feet, holding his glass in one hand.

“I proppose a toast, before seeing everyone go on their way.” he says, you seeing everyone else holding up glasses themselves and go along, grabbing your own. “To new beginnings, new alliances, and to the birthday girl herself, Meloka Wolbach.”

He then turns up his glass, draining it. You do the same, the liquid burning comfortably on the way down. It was a rocky start, but with the events of the day so far, you have a rather good feeling about this upcoming year. With that bastard Nabu dead and Majin Ozotto no longer sneaking around causing problems while wearing others' faces, things are looking up.

>>5680472
I mean you’re not WRONG.
>>5680482
That would be something, but no. Taking that crystal out of it’s original timeline would wreck more than one, depending on where it was deployed. But the one directing Ozotto wasn’t Mechikabura either, he would never endanger his good name with Karn over a gem he could get in any of a thousand timelines.
>>5680519
The competent pickup is mainly Kars, requesting a time pickup through proper channels. SKoT knew she couldn’t send Trunks or any of the other fighters, especially a Goku as he’s itching for a rematch. Since Majin Ozotto was already restrained she could simply send a talented retriever, one without PT-K-D.
>>5680524
A little. But he was lying, just trying to scare the demon. Which worked, showing his tell. Enigma needs to see the target’s fear response more than once to activate.

Honestly my bet is this was a rogue Towa's doing, because theres a metric shitload of those and this isn't out of the wheelhouse of one of them screwing around cause mad at karn.
>>
>>5681241
While that IS a possibility, the one’s on going torture is publicly shown in the Council of Towa(Now known as Mechikabura)’s realm. Making sure EVERYONE knows that Karn’s timeline is off limits. With Dumplin, Karn, and Ace(this reality’s equivalent of Dumplin from the previous one) on his side, he is NOT jeopardizing this. He wants Karn to have no reason to even consider turning against him.
>>
>>5681031
The only sad thing about Kars is, even if he becomes the Kaioshin in charge and fixes U7 up, he will still yearn for more the moment he realizes Beerus' and Whis' true might, and learns that there are beings in the realm of Angels even stronger than those two. So short of him deciding to become a training tard (he might consider himself too good for that), that bastard will EVENTUALLY go back to scheming and backstabbery. I can see him doing a more convoluted Zamasu-esque scheme with the Super DBs that pits him against some of the other, stronger Universes.
>>
>>5681265
>kars uses ultimate wish nuggets and demands to be made the strongest of all
>GD suddenly gets ten times as flamboyant
>>
>>5681273
please no
>>
>>5681265
I'm sure if Karn was able to observe Whis long enough, he'd be able to replicate his Angelic physiology.
>>
>>5681302
Kars, not Karn. Motherfucker really needs to change his name.
>>
>>5681273
>GD suddenly gets ten times as flamboyant
Not gonna lie, that made me spill my drink.
>>
>>5681265
Even if there are other gods above him, remaking the universe in his image could keep him busy for a couple million years before he seeks going higher.
>>5681273
HA! That’s a good one
>>5681302
To an extent, Kars could imitate. But angels exist on another level, another tier of existence.

QM QUESTIONS/UPDATE

With six years of this quest under our belts, what has been your favorite and least favorites? Characters? Arcs? Villains? OCs? Battles? Events? Which future villains/arcs are you most and least looking forward to? And, most importantly, has this quest turned out how you imagined from when you first started reading? Or did it wind up better or worse than you imagined?
>>
>>5682028
Aaaaaand I dropped the update from the post. Oh well, I'll just add it here. Still working on the patron post for last month, three posts's worth written for it. Art for the June patron poll is being sketched out with the main talent himself, and this week's epilogue will either be of Chilli and Megumin domestic life after the party wrapped up, or of Ainz and his... Agreement with King Cold after this episode's events. We'll just have to wait and see, but which would you prefer? Not calling it a vote, just gauging interest.
>>
>>5682028
The Covenant invasion is a favourite of mine due to how action-packed it was, along with the serious risk of losing some (or many) of our friends or family
>>
>>5682037
Re-thinking how I worded that, to be more specific than describing it as 'action-packed' (and thus more helpful to you as feedback), it was specifically the marathon-like nature of it that I liked; fight after fight after fight, and we needed to pace ourselves or else fall to bits once we faced the 'big bad'. We had to be quite strategic with our votes.
>>
>>5682030
Payday is thursday, I cant fucking wait.
>>
>>5682037
The Siege of New Salda is still the most ambitious thing I've ever attempted to write. It was the greatest spectacle of the quest in my opinion.
>>5682043
Marathon is the correct word for it, it was a slog of a fight.
>>5682045
Nice. Just make sure you got yourself first, handle all your own bills and things before considering helping out with the art here.
>>
>>5682028
My favorite event in this quest had to be Meloka Wolbach's first birthday bash. Fighting the Time Patrol is always fun, but fighting against UI Goku, tapping into LSSJ3, instagibbing Boi and female Boi, and then disarming Vegeta THROUGH his Hakai? Ultimate hype that is hard to top, but I know you will eventually.
>>
My favourite was when Towa raped us and our response was "lol, beta bitch move."
>>
>>5682078
It was a great event, a great show of progress and potential of the anti-divine nature of the next level. The Battle of Gods is going to be something amazing.
>>5682084
Ha. There was a lot of behind the scenes between Towa and Meloka, a LOT of fighting they did out of your sight. But they've reached their understanding.
>>
>>5682084
Hey it worked and karn for all the general hillbilly he is, is in fact a gigachad so shit just occurs like that.
>>
>>5682095
It's kinda surreal thinking about it honestly. So much of our training and actions have been leading up to this moment, it's hard to imagine exactly what comes after that.
Hell, I'm still trying to figure out what we'd even do if we actually manage to get past Whis and put an end to Beerus (which is exactly what I'm going to vote for because FUCK THESE ASSHOLES HOLY SHIT)
>>

>>5682243
After that? Well, I’ll small spoiler something that will happen afterwards.
The Battle of Conton City
>>
>>5682456
Well yeah, didn't Mechi explicitly tell us that was gonna go down as soon as we could summon the full might of Beserker 3?
>>
>>5682243
>Hell, I'm still trying to figure out what we'd even do if we actually manage to get past Whis and put an end to Beerus (which is exactly what I'm going to vote for because FUCK THESE ASSHOLES HOLY SHIT)
I'm pretty sure there's still atleast Baby and Zamasu to deal with in the aftermath of BoG. I want to vote to not skin the cat only because of the training opportunities Whis and Beerus can offer, but depending on what Beerus does it might not be an option.
>>5682456
Hoping that when the time comes we can turn the tables and crash The BOI's wedding instead
>>
>>5682532
Yes, but I’d figured anons had mostly forgotten.
>>5682561
True. Zamazu might go a bit…differently for you. After all, which alternate timeline of you will he snatch? And would he survive trying such a thing?
As for Beerus, we’ll see.
>and crash The BOI's wedding instead
Now wouldn’t THAT be something
>>
>>5682612
>zamasu sees karn
>decides he wants one
>picks a timeline at random
>it's the true saiyan timeline
>zamasu bodysnatches one of karn's kids
>karn is a proper ruthless monster saiyan who went 100% berserker kool-aid and obliterates his own child with zero hesitation
>rip bozomasu should have been more discerning
>>
>>5682622
Remember how that arc played out in canon. He grew disillusioned with the job, saw mortals being uppity, then a rando universe 7 mortal actually HIT him. Then later he sees goku wielding divine power against Hit on godtube, thanks to Gowasu, and starts his plan. In that timeline he kills gowasu, takes the time ring, steals Goku’s body to murder him and his family and then uses the time ring to travel into the future trunks timelime, killing that gowasu and recruiting himself before again gathering the sdb, giving that one immortality, then blowing them up before going on their kai-killing spree to end the destroyers. But if Karn’s body were to suddenly change, how long until Chilli, DDF, or someone else would be able to undo it?
>>
Also, May patreon story/art is now live so go give that a read.
>>
>>5682622
Atleast he went to a universe 7 and not universe 11 to get Jiren'd by Jiren
>>
>>5682630
I'm just saying man. He needs to be careful which timeline specifically he goes to. Because they are not created equal. There's probably plenty of timelines with assassins waiting in the wings for any sign of weakness that'd chop him up when he did his retard training methods.

>>5682645
>I am Za-
>Owari Da
>>
>>5682645
>>5682654
Jiren doesn't matter to Zamasu, as his ire is directed. However, if he did encounter or see Jiren, he would most certainly take his body and that absolute strength over Karn's anti-god power.
>>
>>5682561
>Hoping that when the time comes we can turn the tables and crash The BOI's wedding instead
No, we fuck with him harde by showing up, saying congratulations failure, leave a gift, then leave with no explanation.
>>
>>5682639
After tomorrow
>>
>>5682672
Would be quite funny, just to further show the difference between them. But Mechikabura may find the reversal more advantageous to sieging the Time Patrol's 'safe' city. And very nice
>>
>>5682692
On that note, we might only get the jump on the Time Patrol to this degree once, so I hope Mechikabura has been having all of his star players pushing themselves to new heights and not just Karn.
>>
>>5682696
With the way timelines work, everyone else is going to be ready when you are. And thanks to his spying in on Conton city, he knows when he’ll launch his attack as well. Once Battle of Gods is over, this next arc is going to go hard
>>
>>5682736
Will Mechi atleast give us time to get a proper handle on Berserker 3? While going apeshit in Conton city would be fun we aren't going to be beating the high tier threats without the ability to think strategically now that they know not to undderestimate us.
>>
>>5682738
>this next arc
Another mindless rampaging monster isn’t any use to him, he already has two SS4 ZBrolys. No, he needs you for what only you can do. Don’t want to spoil the next arc’s title quite yet, but we’re getting another war arc

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 197 Epilogue-

AGE 756, CRIMSON DEMON VILLAGE CRYSTAL TOWER

“Did you have a good birthday kiddo?” you ask, your daughter grinning at you as you help pull her dress up and over her head.
“Today was a lotta fun!” your daughter says excitedly, you picking her up and holding her up at eye level. “Your big Crystal Star was super cool!”
“Haha, I think so too.” you say, then with a mischievous grin start tickling her. Your daughter tries to hold in her laugh as long as she can, but after a few seconds her laughter bursts forth.

“You two better come on down, before the water cools off!” your wife calls from downstairs, you stopping and making your way to the stairs still holding her. Your daughter clings to you but lets out a yawn as you walk down the staircase, feeling a smile of content come up on your face. You are Chilli, a man of many titles. Father, husband, son. Reaper, Crystal Sage, archwizard, god killer. But right now you're enjoying simply being a father and husband, relaxing at the end of a long day. Walking down out of the staircase you see your wife already in the extra large cast tub you'd had made before Meloka Wolbach's birth, one large enough to comfortably accommodate you as well as your then-pregnant wife comfortably. Your daughter sees her and squirms out of your grip, you letting her go as she flies up into the air over the tub with a grin.

“CANNON BALL!” she shouts, curling up into a ball and dropping herself straight down. Your wife watches her with an amused look on her face, your daughter dropping in and splashing you both with water. Which you shake off as Megumin pulls her up off the bottom of the tub. “Did you see that? Was that a good splash?”
“It was a good one.” you tell her, your daughter beaming at you before turning back to her mother, hugging her as well as you get in too. You sigh out as the warmth of the water soaks into your tired muscles, your wife drifts over and sits in your lap. You wrap her and your daughter in your arms, sighing out in content. Your two favorite women are here with you, held close in your arms, and life couldn't be better. Closing your eyes, you allow yourself to truly relax, to let the tension you carry ease out of your body.

“I heard something interesting this morning, from your grandparents.” Megumin tells your daughter, who turns around to look at her curiously. “They're going to meet with Miss Wiz and Vanir tomorrow at their shop in Axel. Would you like to go with them?”
“Really? We all can go?” she asks, looking from you to her mother and back.
“No no, this is for you to go spend time with your grandparents Yuiyui and Hyoizaburoo, and your Aunt Komekko. We'll be here when the trip is over and you can tell us all about it.” Megumin says, then turns to you. “Isn't that right hun?”

Both of your girls turn towards you, you not answering immediately. You think through it, loathe to let your daughter go away from you for a day. But having time with just you and your wife does also sound good.

“I think that you should go, if you want to.” you say, meeting your daughter's gaze. “Have fun, but if you need me you know how to call, right?”
“Yes sir! I remember!” she says, closing her eyes and clenching her fists before thinking to you. “Just like this?”
“Perfect, you're doing it just right.” you reply, also telepathically while reaching up and ruffling your daughter's hair as she beams happily before continuing speaking aloud. “If any trouble comes for you all, give me a call just like that and I'll be right there.”
“Yunyun will be there as well, she knows a few good places to eat in the city.” Megumin says, although you can't tell if she's talking more to your daughter or you before adding telepathically. “And we'll have the house to ourselves all day long.”

You feel your face heating up at the look in your wife's eye, and have a feeling that, somehow, this was all your wife's plan all along. But you don't mind. After all, you and your wife have been talking about giving Meloka Wolbach a sibling or two.

Attaboy Chilli. Just don't be like your old man and let it get in the way of training.
>>
Short epilogue this week, but this little bit of story might become more relevant in the next episode or two.

>>5683437
When has that EVER happened to Karn?
>>
>>5683438
>When has that EVER happened to Karn?
I distinctly remember in some of the early threads that Karn and Meloka would regularly get "distracted" in the middle of training.
>>
>>5683442
Yes, that was the joke. A bit hard to convey sarcasm, but all well and good.
>>
>>5683438
At least chili hopefully won't ever have the problem of training with a wife that consistently puts him in healing pod.

Or maybe he will miss out on zenkais.
>>
>>5683457
fortunately for him his main power is magic and i don't believe zenkais actually work for that, so that isn't actually a problem.
>>
>>5683457
No, he's far more likely to injure himself than Megumin hitting him with an Explosion. Although he does have her test his defensive spells with them and not all work.
>>5683458
Zenkais work off recovering from severe, life-threatening damage. The only self-inflicted damage you can Zenkai off of is from Kaio-Ken or similar techniques tearing your body apart.
>>
>>5682740
It has been a long time coming, these fuckers ruined our lives on the whims of a pink midget.

CYOA? Is this entire Quest not a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure?
>>
We’re under 24 hours until go time!
>>
>>5683781
I mean...technically that's correct, but its not in a cyoa format.
>>
>>5683796
I can't wait to get a sternly worded letter about murdering yet another God.
On that note, is there any specific reason why Uatu chose not to interfere in Nabu's execution?
>>
>>5683796
Don't we need to drop back to the Justice League and explain what happened?
>>
>>5683832
We did that already
>>
>>5683821
Too be fair nabu is a complete fucknugget and we already had the equivalent of the Supreme kais permission. Remember we did originally talk with Kars about this shit, it's the everything after that went completely off the rails.

Sure but this guy was all over the place. Not once did he mention anything about Kars showing up or not showing up. Maybe anon is just bad at asking relevant questions. But our absolute non-answer at the end is telling enough for anyone with even basic social skills. Which everyone in the League has.

You’re nowhere near him in terms of raw power.

Perfect. Croc is pretty good too. I like when he's not just "Rargh I am more crocodile than man!".
>>
>>5684085
The DCAU iteration of Bane was actually pretty intelligent all things considered. Granted, he wasn't a master strategist or a renaissance man, but still plenty smart.
His only real shortcomings were his overly sadistic nature and insistence on having his Venom delivery system hanging off the back of his neck.
>>
>>5684087
Some of his can be good.
>>5684090
True. But the SupermanTAS/BatmanTAS thru JLU was peak DC as far as on screen goes. Even better written than MCU(only counting until endgame)
>>5684106
He was great for the tone and style of the show, especially in the team up episode with riddler and hatter. And in his introduction in Batman TAS. Man’s an experienced mercenary, hunter, fighter, and killer. Just like Karn, except instead of a free mercenary he’s kept on retainer by the space emperor.
>>
>>5684140
It's kind of a shame Bane's forever dependent on frankly dogshit drugs. I remember in the DCAU he could punch through a brick wall pretty easily even before he started doping.
>>
Humanbros....

>Bruce got a LOT off of that particular interaction. He has you typecast.
Oh nooo, the terror.

Please, we are hardly a merc, baring that one time when we were posing behind enemy lines and did some stuff with Boros.
>>5684070
Bane was the one to beat him, he should show the appropriate respect. Especially since Karn wont leave a spine to heal.

>>
>>5684380
>He's trying to figure you out, so he can devise a way to stop you should you come for his planet.
He should be more concerned with figuring out where "Earth" fits into Frieza's schemes in the first place. Besides, Karn and company are the absolute last thing he should be worrying about if Darkseid is active in this Universe.
>>
>>5684380
>>5684228
>>5684374
I know it's in jest, but the fact that Saiyans and Humans are genetically identical enough to crossbreed NATURALLY, without the use of any artificial technology, leads me to believe that it *could* be possible. But Krillin's retired sorry ass would be the last person to go Super Human. If anybody, it would be Videl
>>
>>5684405
Honestly, Humans in Dragonball having untapped potential akin to the Super Saiyan transformation (though probably less extreme) isn't too far-fetched.
What's up for debate is the exact nature of such a racial transformation. If I had to guess, it'd probably be something akin to Gohan's Beast transformation.
That said, Gohan being a hybrid and the only instance of Beast being tied to the Potential Unleashed state casts some doubt on that conclusion...
If only more Humans actually trained to the point where they'd could conceivably tap into that potential.

The real problem is finding such a form's catalyst. The trigger would probably be strong emotions, sure, but the requirements to make the sparks fly are a complete mystery. If it's a powerlevel requirement then it has to be an insanely high one since I'm pretty sure the active humans can beat a Mecha Frieza at the very worst. They don't exactly make it easy keeping up with how strong they get after an established arc
>>
>>5684386
He's not worried about Freeza, not yet. If he can't devise a way to handle Karn, then Freeza doesn't matter.

>He's not worried about Freeza, not yet. If he can't devise a way to handle Karn, then Freeza doesn't matter.

Stopping you doesn’t necessarily mean fighting. He just has to figure out how to keep his planet and people around, should you be told to erase them.
He has no way to know about that, right now he’s under the impression that, because Earth is either way out in the sticks or lacks perhaps some unknown material the PTO needs or wants is the only reason it hasn’t been invaded yet.

>Still mad at Toriyama how Super treated her. Was hoping she'd get the 18 instead of Chichi treatment.
She never did recover from Spopovich. That big ugly motherfucker stares back at her everytime she sneaks a glance at her old dumbbells. Poor thing. Ya hate to see it.

I'm so mad that Kars didn't kill him.
