Welcome to Dawnmoor academy, the third college of magic; located near the frontier of the new world. It teaches its students a variety of subjects, from casting basic cantrips, alchemy, enchanting, and how to slay a dragon with a sword. Dawnmoor academy is the place to go if you want to learn magic, and it only requires that you sign away your life for the duration of your stay! What a steal!
Currently, the students of Dawnmoor academy begin to explore the academy; from exploring it's halls, dealing with ink spilling crows and generally each other. Sadly the roar of a balrog and the combat instructor Atticus put an end to that as a fight began to brew between the two with the head wizardry teacher Lenoy Lockwood cheering him on.
>>
>>2595284

So here are the basics of the quest for everyone.
-You are all students of Dawnmoor academy and have displayed a basic proficiency in magic to the school before you were accepted.
-There are five different types of magic within the school. Elementalism which is being able to manipulate the elements kinetically such as growing a sword made out of ice from nothing. Or being able to draw power from runes on your clothing and being able to summon fire from your staff, summon icicles to hail at your opponent, blast them with water and etc.
-Runic magic which is being able to use words of power such as [harm], [weaken], and more to manipulate the world around you to your own benefit. Whether that is being able to cast hexes on your opponent, blast them with a lance of eldritch energy, mess with someone's mind, and more. While combating the whispers in your mind trying to tell you to do something unspeakable.
-Theurgy is the type of magic which revolve around healing, regenerating, blessing a weapon, and divination. Generally revolving around a ritual, it's users often see themselves as the more religious type of magic users compared to others.
-Null magic: The ability to perceive illusions as fake, counter spelling magic with your sheer force of will, and being able to shrug off a hit that could kill a lesser man. Null magic is the type of magic you may see being used by witch hunters to counter a hag's spells, heretics hexes, fairies illusions and more. Null magic often relies on its user to have the martial skill and a strong will.
-Wizardry: The ability to summon a creature to your aid, enchant a weapon to bypass the immunity of a demon, and being able to borrow from the other schools of magic. Wizardry is the catch-all term for those that wish to dabble elsewhere into magic. With its practitioners called wizards, they are often seen brewing a potion one day and summoning a bolt of lightning the next.
-If you wish to create a char here are a few rules.
1. Identify yourself with your name, gender, and whether or not you are a human or demi-human. No elves, dwarves, halflings, gnomes or etc.
2. State which field you wish to have your char start out in. This determines your starting skills, spells, abilities, and more.
3. Provide any background info, stating that you are a noble may net you a background item in the form of an heirloom. Or stating that you specialize in a specific type of magic such as alchemy for wizards, an element for elementalism.
4. The game runs on percentile dice, the higher you roll the better, with low rolls being bad and high rolls being good. Although expect there to be points where the QM may ask you to roll a 1d6, 1d10, etc.
5. Don't be a dick, generally the golden rule for many quests such as this.

Name: Alberic
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Field: Null

Alberic grew up on the edge of a swamp which was occupied a fair number of hags and fae. The local lord noticed that Alberic had a talent for ignoring the misleading illusions that often lead peasants and traders stray, when Alberic lead a rescue party to the hag who had kidnapped the the Lords newborn son. The lord provided Alberic with clothing and a letter of proof, and sent him to the academy to learn. When at the academy, Alberic learned to compliment his talents, focusing on martial skills, relying on his natural talent to carry him through the study of Null magic.

What kind of armor would you say you would use? Leather armor? Chainmail? Brigandines? In addition what weapon would you say you use do you use the generic sword, the elegant rapier, the brutal axe or maybe do you find yourself throwing yourself at the enemy with nothing but your fists?

>-Gain the following 'powers'

Null soul; although mundane for the moment you do possesses a small talent unique to null users. A passive ability that your mind can differentiate an illusion from reality when examining it closely or being unaffected by charm spells.
Roll a 1d100 when trying to discern a possible illusion from reality on a 85+ you identify the illusion as a illusion and are unaffected by it physically although visually you can still be affected. On a 90+ when being affected by a charm ability or spell you deny its effects.
Basic martial training: you gain a +5 when attacking or using weapons offensively or defensively. This includes feints, parrys, trips, etc.
Armor use: Null users have received training or have been self taught on how to wear and use armor effectively.

Alberic wears a full set of brigandines, with a set of plate gauntlets and a visorless Bascinet helm gifted from his Lord over the top of it. He fights with bastard sword, preferring the flexibility it gives him when fighting.

Name: Kaltrich.

Gender: M

Race: Human

Field: Runic

'To fight the Abyss, one must know it.'

Born to a fairly well of family of merchants, This young boy, Kaltrich, from a young age, was always a quiet, patient person. Well learned from scholarly pursuits thought his few years, he happened upon an odd obelisk out in the middle of nowhere. He cannot recall finding it, nor how he returned from that mysterious place, but from that, he struck a dark pact with something...

Old. Something dark.

And now, he is left with a skull, and a gently flickering candle on top of it. Burning, slowly burning.

Brigandines, a form of body armor popular among the guards and hirelings of the new world. Consisting of a leather coat that is matched with an iron plating on the inside this armor is often accompanied with the users crest of choice sewed on it.

>- Gain: [Brigandine] Able to withstand the claw of a owl bear and other various beasts of the world. Brigandines often find themselves being worn by many in the world.
>- Gain [Bastard sword] Favored by the more martially inclined by adventurers, it's reach is often a boon to many adventurers that prefer to use swordplay to kill their targets. Although somewhat cumbersome to use in the tight corridor the ability to cleave your opponent in two with a blade is something that many boast.

yep, just processing char creation and writing a plot recap at the moment.
Your more than welcome to make a char while I decide how to describe the wrestling match of the century between a adventurer and a Balrog while someone summons a troop of creature to wreck havoc on the school. (yet to be determined what type.)

Name: Martin Gallo
Sex: Male
Race: Human
Field: Theurgy, focused on Regeneration.

Born into poverty on a dirt farm far, far away from anything anyone would consider interesting, Gallo is a tall and scrawny kid. Simple, easily confused, but eager to move forward, Martin is typically found teaching himself how to read or meditating. Meditating on what? Well... Martin Gallo is dying. He has been dying since he was 7 years old. However, you wouldn't know that by looking at him, since he is constantly fighting the "wasting disease" he suffers from with some rather clever regenerative Theurgy he was taught by his local priest. While it keeps the sickness at bay, he will die young. Despite knowing this, Martin is good-humoured (if a tad dark at times) and tries not to let his impending death hold him back from pursuing his passions.

Name: Willem Ballister
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Field: Wizardry

Willem, Will to his friends, was born to a large noble family in the west of the continent, who ruled over a large and very wealthy province. The House of Ballister has a large influence in politics pretty much everywhere in the general vicinity of their home province of Kelder because of this wealth. Willem was born as the second of three children, and the oldest son, of his father Lucius and thus is the heir to all of his lands and titles. He grew up in a privileged and wealthy environment, obviously, but he was notable even among nobles for being incredibly aristocratic, arrogant, and proud. On the other hand, his mind has always been sharp as a razor's edge and his hands quicker than a fox. His dashing good looks don't do any harm either, in most situations. Willem's misspent youth of challenging people to duels, attempting to court attractive noblewomen, and generally causing trouble for everyone came to a screeching halt when he was examined by a magister employed by his father. This magister came to the conclusion that Willem possessed the ability to perform magic and just like that he found himself being bundled off to Dawnmoor to be educated in the art of wizardry, as proud, wealthy and entitled a student as there can be.

>-Gain: [Eldritch focus] Due to your pact you have been granted your focus, a simple skull with a candle forever burning on it. While many rely on a grimoire, for you the magical runes are burned inside of your mind forever. Gain a +5 to casting offensively but suffer a -10 on feedback rolls.

>-Gain elemental rune: [Eldritch] The mark of your patron you are able to somewhat manipulate the reality of the world with the mark of your patron smiting them with a lance of the energy from the world that your patron hails from. Weakening the minds of mortals with the tunes of the deep and more. All it requires is that your mind is able to brave through the casting.

>- [Wasting away]- You are besieged by some sort of magical illness slowly rotting away until nothing remains. You have prevented it with the magical spells that your ritual for now has provided and are somewhat proficient at it.
-Gain a +5 bonus to using any spell that regenerates the flesh.

In addition what focus would you say you use? Do you use a staff, your voice, a wand, or a instrument?

Name: Warren
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Field: Wizardry

Warren was a son of a weathy crystal trader of a big city. He was helping the family's buisness and it was planned for Warren to inherit the trader's occupation. But there was an explosion, caused by an accidential coherence of the magic frequencies of the crystal. This accident made to ashes the whole bloodline and its possesions. Warren, the only survivour, was devastated. But in the vigorous flames there was standing still, shining in its beauty, a pine-green crystal, which drew Warren's attention. He found a new hope. He will become a wizard.

Stave: Gain martial proficiency with this weapon. Staves are a norm for many theurgy users, from the shepherds staff to a simply totem pole. Theurgists often imbue them with magical crystals to improve their magic or turn it into a weapon with fey materials.

>-Ritual type: Draconic: You gain your power by stealing it from the dragons your spells or boons often provide men and women with aspects of the dragon

>[Claws] You target a creature and they grow fearsome claws sharp as knives.
Ritual boon: [Draconic aspect] Your eyes along with some parts of you have developed draconian trait such as your eyes mutating into draconian copy's and scales appearing on your arms. While nothing for now they can later be the focus for draconian spells and boons.

>[Minor regeneration ] You target someone and their wounds slowly begin to regenerate over time.

You will be introduced in the way that you have all been wandering fruitlessly through the halls and have decided to investigate the cause of the balrogs roar and the cheering of the wizardry instructor Lenoy Lockwood along with Mr. Armstrong.

He knows a little about aristomancy, an extraordinarily obscure branch of magic whose power correlates directly with the nobility of the user, from a brief overview that the court magister gave him before he departed for Dawnmoor. However, he knows little of its practical applications, and it is unlikely that he will be able to easily find somebody who could teach him more; Willem will likely be no better off than his peers unless he is able to uncover more information about aristomancy in some way.

He carries an ancient and extraordinarily well-crafted rapier that has been passed down through his family that, according to legend, is positively brimming with magical energy. The sword is not only visually gorgeous; it is also of superior quality in terms of craftmanship. Beyond this, using magic on it (to "buff" it, I guess) is more effective than it would be on a simpler, less magical weapon. The sword also somehow burns the hands of any who attempt to wield it who are not of noble descent; this is perhaps indicative of the blade being imbued with aristomancy in some way.
>>
>>2598171
Alberic begins to trot off looking through the various rooms, searching for sleeping quarters, a blacksmiths and a sparring room. His backpack, containing his armour, a sleeping roll, and oil for his weapons, clanks quietly as he jogs through the endless array of rooms.

Quiet. Solemn. Calm.

Swathed in musty robes, a bag of papers with maddening scrawling on his back, and a small dagger sheathed on his belt, Kaltrich slowly moved about, memorizing the variable rooms as he came across them.

Strongarm, as you slip on your cestus in a hurry and sprint towards the teachers lounge. Coming across a white door with the words ‘teachers lounge’’ you barge in through along with the other named students and come across a odd scene.
The teachers lounge is littered with empty beer tankards and barrels with the scent of ale more than evident in the room. With a clearly drunk Lenoy Lockwood cheers on as Atticus the martial instructor duels with a balrog as a magical ward encloses the two in a type of fighting ring before they are interrupted as you barge into the room.
“Oh hey! Atticus it looks like we're making ruckus.” Says lenoy lockwood as looks towards you with a tankard in his hand.
“That’s just perfect Len-oh gods!” Atticus says as he tries to dodge a swipe before being knocked clear into the wall. Lenoy lockwood and the demon take a minute to laugh as he prys himself from the knight shaped indentation on the wall.
“I’ll fix that later.” Lenoy says as he downs his tankard. “Hello students! I trust that you became lost and found your way here. How can I help?” While atticus performs a reversal and manages a back breaker on the balrog.

>...Well you found the source...what now?
>>
To Alberic, Kaltrich, and Willem you arrive at the scene as Armstrong opens the door and find yourself in the situation of wondering whether or not a man can wrestle a balrog.
>>
>>2598237
Alberic swings his pack off of his back and sits on it. He then begins watching Atticus and the Demon intently, before glancing over at Lenoy.

"Is the Demon here of his own volition? Since I'm assuming rampant ones don't normally stop attacking when they have the upper hand."

>-[Aristomancy] The world that you live in has many obscure types of magic and the nobles sometimes claim that 'aristomancy' is one of them. While you do not know much the name that you know gives off the idea that it may deal with royal bloodlines.

The rapier while it burns the hands of anyone that is not royal is clearly magical and is able to pierce the ethereal hide of a creature. "Somewhat, every now and then Atticus seeks to meet with an old advesary during his adventuring days." Lenoy says as he pokes the runic circle for a minute the signs of aetherburn clear on his face. "In order to this I must craft a circle that which can hold the demon in addition to summoning it and binding it for a period of time for atticus to fight the demon."
"It was well worth it wizard!" Atticus says as he performs a series of jabs before finishing it off with a uppercut. The punch glowing with a aether symbol as in audible crack echoes through the room and beyond. "Every few months I have to show this dastard the rematch he deserves!" As he and the demon continue to fight.

"Ah then you are more than welcome to observe atticus as he battles with the demon. If you can just, ah thank you." Lenoy says as he reaches for a fallen rag before a crow picks it up and hands it to him.

"Sadly no, although you can consider this a demonstration to how a fist combatant can combat a demon. When it is time for you to practice we will be summoning much more tamer creatures. Kobolds, goblins, celestial beasts that sort of stuff. Atticus is merely roughhousing with an old adversary."

"I can assure you that as long as I am still alive and conscious it shall not break out of the ward." Lenoy says as he takes a minute to focus on his staff. "Well onwards!" Lenoy says as he brandishes his staff as though it were a sword as he escorts you through the halls.
"I believe Ms. Bright is in her classroom along with Ms. Ava" Lenoy says as he navigates you through the winding corridors of the school picking up any hopelessly lost students and point them to their dorms.
"If you are wondering who they are Ms. Ava is the head runic teacher for the first years she is quite talented in the field able to shrug off mountains of feedback like a pebble when it would fry the mind of a lesser user. A survivour of the scholomance pumpkin bombing it's best not to show her a pumpkin if I were you.." He says with a bit of a grimace recalling an incident which lead to the deaths of ten students.
"Ms. Bright on the other hand is a focus elementalist, somewhat of a prodigy in her field she is able to manipulate most of the elements with ease. Summoning a hurricane of wind during a windy day and shaping marvelous works of art out of ice on a snowy day although she is a bit...How do i say it, fiery to put it in lesser terms." Opening the door to the classroom showing Ms. bright endowed with a set of loose robe as she talks to Ms. Ava who is dressed in a scholomance uniform as they discuss about the subject of whether or not a pumpkin counts as a demon or not. As a few other students listening into the conversation.

The young Occultist would be rather amused by their strange conversation, but he stays silent, and keeps his skull cradled in his hands.

Gallo seems very interested in the outcome of this argument. He listens attentively to both parties with wide eyes and a slack jaw as if the conclusion they come to will potentially save his life.

"Does a pumpkin not count as a demon? It invades the mind of it's host, turns them into mindless golems that's only purpose is to simply create more of itself!" Ava say's to bright flicking through her grimoire before stopping at a page.
"L-look! I studied the blasted things to the point back in Bolton. Look look!!!" She says shoving the page in front of Ms. Brights face.
"Look there not demons, they're just simple creatures that spawned from a mad alchemists experiments. Sure they're mindless golems that seek only to replicate themselves, I highly doubt they are demons. Plus the Order of the null will simply classify it as a lower class of demon so please don't bring it to Cpt. Wards the man is busy enough as it is with managing his squad here."She says as she gestures over to a tome summoning a gust of wind that floats it towards her.
"Look if you really want, I can get wards to classify it as a demon *here*." With a bit of strain in her voice before noticing the others.
"Ah, it seems we have guests." Clapping her hands together signalling Ava who quickly wipes the crazed look in her eyes before speaking.
"As I am sure that Lenoy has told you, my name is Ms. Ava I am the head runic teacher along with my assistant Arno. Who manages the library here, is there anything i can get you?" She says trying to act cool by adjusting her posture and leaning on a desk which causes a vial to fall and break on the floor.
"Not my fault!" Saying to no one in particular before continuing. "Do the four of you...Need anything?" She says gesturing to the four of you while still attempting to maintain a cool demeanor.

"I hear you work with Runes, Arno, was it?" Kaltrich offers politely, giving a small bow, the flame of his Focus steady and strong.

I think for today i'll stop for now. Hope you enjoyed it, I should be able to continue the quest tomorrow hopefully a bit more energized this time. Take the time during this to roleplay, join the discord, read the rules etc.

Willem, still intent on making sure his first impression is a good one, flashes his usual grin and responds brightly, "Actually, I believe at the moment we're taking a tour, of sorts. I'm sure, however, that the library will be of great use at a later date."

"I was hoping to get a head start on my peers, any tips for a blossoming golemancer?" As Jay says this, she has one hand extended, causing LK to mime a sword fight, poorly, as Jay has knows little of such things.

Kaitha looked towards the librarian wondering if he would notice even if she did talk to him considering how engrossed he seemed to be in his work, however following Nygar's words she gave a slight bow and introduced herself "Hello, my name's Kaitha Velde, I'm a new student here." As she raises her head she continues "Would you mind telling me where I can find books on theurgy?" She asked with a smile.

Willem watches the puppet's shenanigans, chuckling.

"Remind me later to show you how to fight. That could ... really use some work."

Martin, having thought hard about the conversation, finally manages to find words.

"Aren't pumpkins just big berries?"
>>
>>2600460
"They're a type of gourd, the entire family of vegetation is notorious for being used for various dark purposes."
>>
>>2600858
The young man looks down, and starts fidgeting with his staff.

"Not to sound rude, or cast doubt on your extensive knowledge of plants, but... You see, my family was right beside a farmer that grows pumpkins back home, and he said they're something called 'pepos'."
>>
>>2601044
"That's probably just another name for pumkins."
>>
>>2599906
"I'd appreciate that."

"The names Ava, my assistant is named arno." Ava says as she fiddles the book for a moment looking a bit sullen. "If you wanna know what i do I mostly handle the practical side, blasting enemies with fire, shoving someones soul into a crystal and using it as a focus yada yada." Ava explained as she picked up a staff as she looked into it. "Arno mostly handles the more academic side, the who, what when where why that kind of stuff." She grimly said as she looked twirled the focus for a moment. "Poor boy is probably still inscribing another set of starter runes and wards for the students Probably still hopped up on harpy civet again." She said with a sigh, moving onto the next question from your group.

>>2598944
"Ah, well you are more than welcome to ask a question if you desire Mr..." Waiting for a minute before clucking her tongue. "Well it doesent, matter, so lenoy is taking you all on a tour around the school? Well I hope you take notes as you go around, the schools quite confusing. I believe two students nearly starved to death last year before we found them huddling in a closet the poor things." She says with a grimace.

>>2599298
She perks up at the subject as you say it and with a gesture summons a shadowy copy of herself which waves at you before standing still. "Oh my golemancy! Very reliable for what it can offer, although a bit rigid in my opinion. Sure you can inscribe a set of runes to use on instance but having to deal with the feedback is troublesome. What type of materials do you use? Fairy dust, griffon feather, or maybe wyrm scales?" She exclaims brimming with excitement.

>>2600460
"There evil! I say, EVILLLL!!" The shadow copy says as it picks up on the subject of pumpkins. "Harmless they may be at first, but if you let your guard down suddenly they're trying to kill you and use your corpse to spread their evil evil kind." It hisses before remembering a though and with a shiver returns back towards ava. "They must be purged with the holy fire of Ovon I say!"

>>2599739
"W-wwuzzat?" The man says weakly as though he was just woken up as you ask him where the books are. " Theurgy was it? Well do you wish for the more novice texts? I believe the novice ones are located near the black oak shelves located near the west. They mostly deal with how best to use rituals, what kind of incense can be used. What techniques are safe for a novice, etc etc." He explains before remembering something. 'Oh yes, while useful the text is usually hidden behind pages and pages of nonsense on the views of the author so beware I suppose."
>>
>>2601626
"I've found, for my purposes, that making string out of old oak bark works rather well for embroidering runes directly into the cloth. Though, the rigidity of the material makes it difficult to fit the nessesary runes underneath the outer layers."
>>
>>2601626
"Ballister. Will Ballister. Come to think of it, I do have one question ... when exactly do our lessons start? I really can't wait to begin learning more ... things."

Dunno how much I'm gonna be around the next couple of days, but might as well make the character now.

Name: Rosaline Brandt
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Field: Null

Growing up in a small peasant town, Rosaline (or Ros, as she much preferred to be called) was apprenticed to a blacksmith as a striker. She was soon known for her uncanny knack for identifying when a peddler was trying to sell a bad batch of iron ingots, as well as her somewhat excessive dislike for the occasional fairy that came flitting by. This was noted by the mysterious traveller who came to stay in the village one Spring, who eventually approached her concerning their suspicions of magical potential - while initially reluctant to the idea, she eventually agreed to go with them, to some place called Dawnmoor...

Gain the following skills listed below, and what type of arms and armor do you wield and wear?

"I see...thank you" Kaitha replied then turned to Nygar and gave him a nod before heading off towards the section of the library Arno mentioned. Once she got there she would go through the available selection and try to find a suitable book for beginners to take back to her dorm for later reading.

grabs the map and feather from the puppet. He soon takes note of the feather and asks a question.

"Why did you bring this feather to me too huh? You wouldn't do so without meaning and keeping it with the map in question...so what's the catch? " He asks as he unrolls the map the puppet meanwhile somehow started to look nervous despite not having a wooden face. "So what did you already make a frie-wait a second. No easily available maps...magic school. Oh goddamn it this is bad, I don't have any of my maze and shifting rooms stuff with me," he continues now distracting himself much to the relief of the puppet.

"No point in handing out maps if things will rearrange themselves or is a maze. Damn if I'd known this I would of brought more stuff from home for this kinds of things. Then again if I had the chance I would of brought a lot more stuff with me. Now having to find out that the school supplies its students. I should of brought more specialties and exotics from home. So you had any luck on finding our dorm?"

The puppet nods and points to a spot on the map where the dorms are. Though its hard to tell where exactly said spot would be.

"...Well best figure out where it is exactly before the damned school rearranges itself. Goddamn it I hate those setups even more then mazes. At least mazes are honest about it. So you find out anything that could be useful?"

The puppet nods eagerly and slaps itself on the chest before giving a thumbs up.

"Like what?"

The puppet stares at him in response before he awkwardly mutters 'oh right' and hands over some some charcoal and writing pad. The puppet proceeds to scrawl out the answer in its own otherworldly language. Whose writings seemed to float and move creating strange pictures but at the same time words. Once it was finished it showed him what it drew.

"...Something birds are bros to...to students? No wait are dick to students and don't like certain staff for something something reasons. Likes minions no wait other familiars? Goddamn it how many times do I gotta ask you to write in a more understandable tongue? Fuck. Conversing in alien tongues it bad enough but this is downright torture. Lets see...school provides basic goods and equipment but not materials. Beware the teachers...something about uh which ones are...best? Worst? Library is trickier then it looks. School was made...funny? Keep feather or else...watch out for things worse then birds that like to fuck with students. Keep up not being a bossy dick or else? What the fuck is there is some kind of...creature or servant conspiracy in the school?"

The puppet merely shrugs in response as it grabs the feather to modify it into a writing utensil.

"Well you do know where exactly our dorm is right? Let's see what were are going to be stuck in. I'd rather not trust that single splotch telling me anything besides rough area to look."

After that the two left with the puppet leading as a guide and Mordred trying to puzzle out more from the writing.

After hearing the crack of bones Aideen shakes her head. "I doubt we are in danger, but it is advantageous to stay afloat on the rumors circulating these halls. We should confirm what we can."
She cleans herself up and checks herself in the mirror to be presentable again before heading out in search of the commotion.

If your gonna be busy/gone it wouldn't be a bad idea to write up some events with rules ahead of time that the players can handle among themselves without you needing to directly watch over. Like say dueling among the players is piss easy thing to write up so long as you make them roll for effectiveness first. Just post it before you leave and let the players amuse themselves.

Another idea would be writing down some guidelines and resources the player characters can access on their own. Saving you time and writing while allowing players to handle character matters on their own without needing to be babysat.

Give in game excuses for the players to interact can also work to an degree.
>>
>>2612852
Oops I forgot the most important part.

The most important thing of all is REWARDING them and thereby encouraging such interactions which saves you time/entertains the players.

Basically when it comes to for these kind of games the most important thing is getting the players invested and reducing you the QMs workload.

So why not both at the same time?

Seriously though don't underestimate the importance of encouraging good player behavior and making less work for yourself. Otherwise your gonna burnout/no players will wanna stick around. The best way to handle it is to ship as much as the work as possible onto the players and make sure to reward good behavior.

By reducing your own workload you can save time/effort and allow you to focus on more important matters. While enabling the players to invest themselves and make your life easier.

The best way to do that is by reducing you having to babysit as much as possible so you can focus on more fun/important things. As having to walk the players through everything is gonna get old REAL quick and suck up too much time/effort.

Like seriously though if you get stuck with having to write out EVERY time the players go to train, eat, or study in the library your gonna drive yourself/the players nuts. Is an example of what could happen. Nobody wants that neither the players or you the QM. It will get old REAL quick and so its better to write down some guidelines/available resources and summarize the results every once in the while as to make stuff official.

I'll consider it, no idea how i'll implement it, but i'll find a way. Probably will make a bit of a guideline as you said put it in the google doc for the classes. Maybe also make a list for locations within the school. Along with a few mishap tables while i'm at it. Probably should have done that from the start but hey, learning!

Ros wields her trusty sledgehammer from her time as a blacksmith's apprentice - despite it's comparable unwieldiness, her well-practised swing can prove to be devastating.

Armour-wise she mostly wears leather garments (a practice which she insists is solely due to it's protective value - secretly it's because she thinks it looks cool, although she will never admit this). This is supplemented by a simple breastplate, a parting gift from her old master.

Alright, i hate to announce this but i'm sure some of you were expecting it. Some were not, i'm gonna have to put Dawnmoor on freeze until further notice. While I loved running the quest, I'm internally struggling of how i can proceed further with it and after a bit of thought i'm gonna put it on freeze until further notice. I am working on something else though. So if I ever return, it will be something new and fresh and much more lethal game wise.
