You would have expected your left arm, the one carrying the shield, to have taken the most damage, what with all the shock it had to absorb. It is a little sore but that's not the one that has been splinted, that's your right arm, the one that was carrying the lance, and admittedly you did twist it the wrong way, and you found out that being clad in iron did not protect against spraining. Funny how that one arm is the one that hurts the least right now.

Your upper body is no longer clad in protective iron right now, Bryld didn't bother taking your greaves and boots off since your legs are very much okay, and besides that's the least of your problems. You are currently lying on the side back in the tent you first changed into, your splinted right arm resting still on top while you stare at that small piece of horn that you broke on that disastrous fall.

In case you ever wondered how your horns look on the inside, they're not the smooth black you were used to but rather a kind of earth brown, with a somewhat porous look; if you rub your fingers against its inside, though, it still feels hard and bony, just rough instead of smooth. It's not a big piece, it's about as large as your fingertip, but both Bryld and Tahenohan noticed immediately when they came for you. It came off your left horn, it would seem, which you imagine must look weird now, at least near its now broken tip.

You don't know what the priest of Jure is doing, but he insisted that you stay perfectly still and seems to be intent poking the back of your head with something hot. It doesn't really hurt, well it stings a bit at first but then it just subsides and all you feel is dull tension. He has given precedence to that rather than your sprained elbow, insisting head injuries are never to be underestimated.

White Moustache suddenly comes into the tent and gives you a big smile, "Ah here's our commander. Glad to see you're okay, you had us concerned for a moment. Well I'll be, that thing you did was-".

"Unforgivably stupid!", Middle-Aged Lady comes barging in shortly after, pushing the man aside and staring down at you with a quite nonplussed look, "What in the bloody hell were you thinking? Whatever gave you the idea that you had any call in doing something that stupid and reckless? You can barely stay on the saddle for fuck's sake did you want to baptise these grounds with your blood you arrogant imbecile?".

"Hey now, she just-", but she won't hear any of it, not even from White Moustache.

"We did you a favour by letting you participate, we didn't give a damn the contenders weren't even, and this is how you show your discipline? You were supposed to be an example to the boys not a dumb jester with neither discipline nor decency!".

"I had to give it my all", you justify yourself, clenching the chipped horn in your hand and giving a tough smile on the outside, "Besides it's a dangerous sport, this kind of things happen".

"They happen to those that don't know how to hold a lance straight! You could have killed one of our mounts, do you have any idea how much that would hurt the king's own army? Do you think this is just a game?", nope, she's still furious, "Thank Iria your neck didn't snap when you fell and for her love just stay away from tournaments for the rest of your life you irresponsible idiot!".

"I don't have to hear this from you", you frown, "I am not a soldier. I had to give it my all and I am not sorry".

"If you're not a soldier then stop pretending you are, or you'll end up killed!". This said, she storms out of the tent. White Moustache turns to you and smiles as he kneels down, "Well I have to admit she is right, I mean you nearly castrated your opponent, just where were you aiming with that lance?", he chuckles, not seeming all that upset.

Bryld gently grabs your hand, the one that's stuck there from your splinted arm and that you can't really move right now (and for a while), squeeing it supportingly with this look that you'd expect a father would have with a child that scraped his knees while playing outside, "Don't take it too hard. It's a matter of gender roles, women are supposed to be disciplined and in control, being brash and honourable is supposed to be for men, so she expected you to be the one that would be an example for the boys who are... Well sometimes a bit too brash and seeing someone with discipline and control would do them good".

"Did anyone get hurt?", Bryld asks, then glances at you, "Well, anyone else?".

"Not yet, but who knows?", he laughs, "Hardly though, they totally would do what you did or even worse if it was a verdenian princess standing in the gallery, but well. Boys will be boys". He glances at your closed fist and pats it, "Don't worry about that commander, boys dig women with battle scars. Just embellish the story a bit and you have a perfect pick up line".

"Thanks", you answer a little uncertainly. You're not sure if he's just saying that to make you feel better or if it's true. You'll have to try it out to know for certain.

"I know why you did it", he assures with a nod and a wink, patting your hand, "I understand. Would have done the same in your place. But still, we'll only let you off the hook for this once, next time train and practice like everyone else before you think you're ready to fight. Now if you'll excuse me commander...".

He stands, bows and walks out. You can hear trumpets blaring again and the crowd cheering, it seems like the tournament is about to resume after the understandable break due to your incident.

"Tahe can you fix my horn?", you ask when the doctor is the only stranger left in the room. You're pretty sure she's still there, just outside of your field of view.

"Yeah no problem", she assures, opening up your hand to pick the horn fragment off, "It snapped relatively cleanly, I'll just use a tiny bit of chalk from the cast to glue it back on".

"You can do that?" the priest asks with a somewhat uncertain tone while he keeps doing something with the back of your head, very carefully. Is he poking you with a spike? You can't tell, it's behind your head and he ordered not to move, "I never worked with someone who had horns before, I wouldn't know where to start".

"Eh, bones are bones", she shrugs, "Of course a horn is a bit different from a pelvis or a knee but if it's something as simple as gluing a piece back on it's no problem".

"Oh. I was thinking of regrowing it", the priest comments, "I've made someone regrow a finger or two before, there's a bit of bone there too, but that's still normal human body thing. But horns? That's all bone I don't know how to fix that. How do you know?".

"I work with bones all the time", she comments with plenty of pride. Bryld facepalms.

"What are you, a necromancer?", the priest asks.

"Yeah!".

A bit of silence follows. "Huh...", he says, then falls silent for a bit, "Oh well, if it works on living patients and she agrees...".

"I agree", you point out, in case your opinion was actually requested.

"By the way where did you learn that? Is it agopuncture?", the necromancer seems to have found something else to busy herself with, and you hear her scuttle closer to your back, "Haven't seen it practiced outside of Hystria".

"Well you can't apply an ointment to the head without shaving all the hair off the area first and since it's not even bleeding I figured I could maybe avoid ruining her look even more", the priest comments, "Not that I care or anything. It just seems to be a good method to prevent or cure internal injuries without using a scalpel, and scalpels to the skull are always a rather icky".

"Lots of blood?", Tahenohan asks with an unexpected amount of excitement.

"There's not much blood at all it's the fact it's someone's skull, and there's the brain underneath that. It's extremely delicate and you shouldn't crack or cut anything there unless you have a very good reason to", the priest notes, "Like, I would if she had an aneurysm, but I'm trying to make sure she doesn't".

"A what?", Bryld asks.

"Sacks of blood that lie where they shouldn't and may burst at any moment. If she had one in the brain it'd be a big deal".

"I don't, right?", you ask.

"No you don't, you're luckier than you have any right to be", the priest snaps back.

"Please give regrowing my horn a shot", you encourage the priest, "If it doesn't work Tahe can just glue this piece back on".

The priest stops as you give that suggestion, and moves to straddle you again, though this time he is careful to not touch your splinted arm with his crotch, even as he bends to the side to make sure he can look at you in the eyes with that mean yet cute green-eyed squint of his, with his bright blonde twintails falling at an angle to the ground. They're really long.

"Listen missie", he goes, "I have a mission to heal the sick and wounded, but don't think I'm going to be here at your beck and call to spoil you. There's people that lose their lives no matter how hard we try to save them, and others who lose limbs and we can't manage to grow them back. You come here asking me to try and do something no priest of Jure usually ever tries in his life when you have the easy solution available? You're mistaken if you think I'm here to spoil you rotten".

"No, that's not it", you go back on the defensive, "I was just suggesting you practice to expand your abilities seeing how you might need to use them in the future".

"I'm sorry?".

"Look I command the monster brigade, that means you're going to have to cure monsters in the future", you explain, "One of them is a minotaur, she's called Pam, she has pretty big horns. You've seen Tama already, I don't know what kind of diseases spiders get but you might need to help her with those, or she might break a leg, and she has eight of them and all... Spindly and strange. I mean if you could practice on me while it's something small and non-lethal it would be best don't you think?".

He pauses for a moment, staring at you, then squints his eyes even more, "Oh I get what kind of person you are. You silver-tongued swindler, you're trying to get me to do what you want just because you have a good excuse to justify yourself with, don't you?".

"Er...".

"Fine. Fine I'll do it. Don't misunderstand, it's not that I care about your stupid horn", he grumbles as he goes check the back of your head again, "Just don't come cry and complain if it grows back wrong, or longer, or shorter, or mutated or whatnot. And don't move your head until I tell you to, I need to go get the chalk to cast that elbow of yours".

He stands and leaves the tent, and you're once again alone with Bryld and Tahenohan, the latter still dressed in white with that flower crown that fits strangely well with her unruly hair. Her skirt is considerably dirtier now that she's sat on the ground for a while, kicking her legs a bit as she patiently waits at your side. Just like Bryld, except she has a much girlier countenance than the half-elf.

"Don't worry sweetie", she assures you, "You look cool".

I see both fine, anon!
>>
"Thank you", you tell Bryld who is trying to comfort you. After all, it took all of your life to grow those horns of yours like that, and losing a small bit of it hurts your feelings, because you know perfectly well it will never grow back on its own. "Say, are all priests of Jure this cute?".

"Ah, he does look like a doll doesn't he?", Tahenohan agrees, looking rather glad you pointed it out, "Such smooth skin and silky hair, and his eyes look painted. Were they any brighter I'd say he was an elf".

"His ears are perfectly normal though", Bryld notes, "And I think it's a matter of faith. That twintails thing... At least that's what I was told".

You know that Jure is represented as a woman wearing twintails, but you didn't know her priests were supposed to wear their own hair like that too. Then again you fortunately never needed their aid much in the past.

"I think I made a good impression", you then say, peeking at the horn fragment still in your hand. You're totally not just trying to rationalize that loss and convincing yourself it was worth it.

"With the crowd or with the priest?", Bryld gives you a strange, possibly jealous look.

"I think everyone's going to remember you for a while", Tahenohan adds with a bright, manic smile, "Even more than before at least, you were already getting quite popular for being a half-demon. There's two of us half-elves already after all, people are used to our antics by now".

You're not sure anyone can be "used" to a half-elf's antics. You thought you were, multiple times, and had to admit you weren't after all. But still, you're the most exotic person around Maner if we exclude completely non-human individuals such as Tama.

And what people saw of you was that, when you were in front of all these people. You can't say you made a bad impression all considered. Sure, you lost, but you were obviously outmatched and stood next to no chance of winning in the first place, at least you showed everyone that you had guts even if you lacked skill.

You open your palm again and look at your chipped horn again. Well that came out clean and easy, you didn't even notice. Not that you're surprised, you know you don't have anything to feel with on the horns themselves unless it's near the base, but you still like it when someone caresses them, or licks them, it sends a pleasant shiver down your skull to the neck and straight to your upper back. Warm, too. It's pretty much all psychological, but still.

You wonder if anything's going to be different now.

"Are you okay?", Bryld suddenly sounds concerned, "Does anything hurt?".

"Hey. Hey Lil', hey", Tahenohan adds to that, patting your chipped horn and rubbing her finger on the broken part. Yep, you can somehow feel it. It's different, and something's missing. "Don't cry, we can fix it. Promise".

>>
>>607048
That head is fine
>>607062
She probably wouldn't even be awake, breathing or alive.
>>
>>607062
Don't speak of such terrifying possibilities.
Besides, most of the time you can't break the third horn, and even then I don't think you could actually break it OFF. I'm sure there would be a fix for it.
>>
"Thank you", you say, and that's when you realize you were tearing up. So that's why they both became suddenly concerned and Bryld started squeezing your hand that hard, you had tears running down your face and you barely noticed until one hit your nostril and at that point you couldn't just not notice.

You know it's silly, you could have ended up seriously hurt or crippled and that would have been terrible. You just chipped a horn, it's nothing serious, but it's the first time you actually suffered some sort of permanent damage. Sure, it can still be fixed since you know a necromancer, but still, it hurts to be reminded that you are mortal and your body is eventually going to break down and die whether you like it or not, sometimes in the most dumb, non-heroic and not expected ways.

But now you're just being overdramatic, mostly because you're sad, and you might be sad because you're actually hurt and you also perfectly understand that you're going to have to make do with just one arm for... How long does it take for a bone to heal? A month?

Well, damn. Of course you feel like crying. You also have needles on the back of your head, how is that nothing to be worried about?

"Sweetie, hey. Sweetie look at me, it's all right", Bryld does her best to smile, "You'll be doing great, as soon as we're done with the cast and your head I'll get the rest of the armour off you and everything will go back to normal".

"Actually I'm concerned about my elbow", you answer, you don't want to drag everyone down just because you feel a bit down right now.

"Ah", and Bryld understands that it is, in fact, a quite legitimate concern, "You'll just have to take it easy for a while. Get things organized, delegate. We'll help you, don't worry, we can take a break from exploring".

"And I think it's better if I let the priest take care of your elbow", Tahenohan comments as she curiously bends over to stare at the splint, "My that's not just the arm. Joints are difficult to fix on the living. That's why I love skeletons, easy to fix, easy to maintain, easy to build".

"How long will I be out of action for?", you dare ask her.

"I'd say a month", Tahe shrugs, as if it's no big deal, "Two weeks if both you and the priest are good and strong. No less than one though, even in the best case".

The priest eventually returns with a bucket of plaster, a piece of smooth wood and some gauze. Without saying a word, he immediately places the wood between your splinted arm and your body and begins to wrap your limb in gauze impregnated with plaster, on which he then adds some more with a trowel, chipping away the excess and spreading the rest well.

"I don't think I need to tell you you have to stay perfectly still", he mentions as he's working.

>"Who's winning?".

"So who's winning?", you ask him as he works. Good thing he brought that piece of wood or the plaster would have stained all of your clothes and likely ruined them forever.

"Don't know, they all look the same to me", he says with genuine disinterest, "I'm just here to patch up those that get hurt. Hopefully not as seriously as you are but who knows. Those people who shouted at you were right when they said boys their age do stupid things and get hurt easily".

"A lot of people do that", Tahenohan comments with a knowing grin.

"Wish they wouldn't", the priest grumbles.

"How long do I have to keep it?", you ask.

"The cast? It depends on how fast your body is at recovering, you don't happen to have a long-standing history of injuries do you?".

"No", who does, anyway?

"Right. I fixed up adventurers in the past. Some of them I wonder if they're even human. Got back up on their feet in a week where I expected them to be in bed for a month. Even with Jure's favour it's up to the recipient body to heal itself, all the actual work happens here", and he lightly taps on the still wet and very easy to mould plaster, "So if you have a strong body, you'll be fine in a few weeks. I'd say you should do in a month at worst. Since you're young and healthy we might be able to take the cast off after two or three weeks but I'd still go easy with it. Elbows are delicate joints, and spraining them like you did is a terrible idea. You might have some permanent after-effects".

"Permanent?", Bryld blinks, suddenly concerned.

"Yes. It might suddenly become sensitive to humidity, ache easily when stressed and you might feel like you can't lift weights like you used to and start favouring your left arm from now on", he explains as he works. If you were to judge from the sound alone you'd say he's reforging your arm in clay, "All those things are normal and nothing to be concerned about. If you suddenly feel in pain or can't bend your arm properly, that's when you need to look for me. Okay?".

"Okay", you repeat. Doctor's orders, after all.

"Now stay perfectly still until I tell you otherwise", he sounds like he's telling you to do that a lot. You guess that's important for his line of work, but that doesn't make the order any less boring. Still, you feel like he's pulling something out the back of your head. It still feels hot and sore, but it's not pulsating with pain any more.

"Okay, a bit more patience and you can stand up and everything", he sighs as he collects the needles he stuck in the back of your head for quite a while actually, "Very good. At least you're obedient when you're a patient. Before I go, do you need anything else? Does anything hurt still?".

Poor Lillith has become crippled!

Now that you have, once again, control of your head and are able to turn around to look at people, you give the doctor's face a nice long stare. He does have smooth skin, just like Tahenohan said, and it has a strange doll-like quality that gives him that sincere and, all in all, quite cute look, further enhanced by the shining green of his eyes and the pure blonde of the hair that crowns his face and flows down almost on you.

"You're cute", you tell him, "Tama would like you a lot".

He remains dumbfound for a moment before rolling his eyes, "T-that's a stupid thing to say. Besides, there's a tournament to decide who she gets, you can't cheat and play matchmaker now".

"How do you feel about spiders?", you insist.

"Never thought of them as potential partners, I always seen the tiny, smaller-than-your-palm kind so I may be biased", he taps the plaster a little, then grunts and stands up, looking at Bryld, "Wait ten minutes then tap it. If it's hard enough, she can stand up and function normally again. Don't worry about the piece of wood just give it back later".

"O-okay", Bryld agrees, staring at him.

"Just try to not do anything stupid. And don't try to cut the cast off until I say so. And don't lift weights with that arm. And take it easy. And- well just find me if you have any problem, but it better be nothing stupid again!", he says before trailing off and leaving the tent, accompanied by the roar of a cheering crowd. Another round went by, you guess.

"Wow", Tahenohan laughs, "He's shy!".

"Yeah, he is", Bryld chuckles, "Did I look like him? When you... I mean...".

"A bit", you concede, "But you were less aggressively in denial".

"Well, she still was", Tahenohan corrects you, "Just in a different way. Less bashful".

"Okay stop it you two".

You both snicker. She was totally in denial for a long time. She seems to be a lot more confident right now though.

"You know, if you and Bryld are to be considered a precedent", Tahenohan insists, giving you both her usual manic grin, "I think we totally have to hook him up with Tama".

"But... He has a point, we got through the trouble of organizing this tournament for her. It wouldn't be fair", Bryld blinks in near disbelief.

"Yeah have you seen those boys? Pff", Tahenohan rolls her eyes and chuckles, crossing her legs, "They don't even know where to stick it and I bet they don't have the guts to either. I think only Lillith would".

"Thanks", you answer. That was a compliment, right? Judging by Bryld's face, it wasn't, but by Tahenohan's it was.

"Well you said it", Bryld sighs, "He's not Bryld".

"He's strong-headed", the half-elf insists.

"Oh please and- what about the tournament?", Bryld throws her arms up.

She's not that kind of character, you've known her for about 70 episodes by now.

But maybe there's someone, somewhere, who does.
>>
"I don't think Tama would mind", you note, "And let's be honest all of what we've been doing since she came back? We both wanted people to get used to her and to let Tama choose a mate. It's ultimately her choice, not that it means we can't play a bit of cupid behind the scenes...".

"I'm not going to say that you're wrong", Bryld begins, staring at you and pausing, "I'm just going to say you're being dishonest".

"Really? Those boys were forced to join the tournament to show off and get something to keep busy with, I bet they downplayed the "winning her hand" part a lot and some think they can get away with just having to hold her hand for a day or something". You can't get up because the cast is still somewhat soft, but even from that position you want to sound like you have authority and you know what you're talking about, "And the arachne still need a serious re-population, you know what this means?".

"Hot spider sex?", Tahenohan sounded way too eager to say that.

"Long-term partnerships. Raising children. She grew up alone in the jungle, doesn't mean her children will have to do the same", you answer yourself. Not that Tahenohan's answer was wrong, mind you, just a bit shallow.

"I don't know, it still feels like cheating", Bryld whines, "But... Well, I understand what you mean. I mean had you won... Unlikely I know but had you won... I can't say I would have been happy".

"I joined because I truly worry about her, but look at the bright side: the tournament was good for finding Tama a mate! It's just not about jousting or fighting like the crowd thinks", your master plan is forming in your mind as you talk, and it's dangerously sound, "Nobody wants to see a cute boy mate with a giant spider, all they want to see is a knight winning the hand of a princess in a festive day. It's role playing, just like you dressing up as a squire".

Bryld can't help but smile a bit even if she doesn't want to, "Look I told you already: I understand what you mean, I'm just concerned. It'd feel like robbing the victor of his prize".

"Their prize is clearly a pissing contest to see who's best at fighting", even Tahenohan intervenes, sounding and looking way more into your plan than you first thought, "The winner will thank us if we spare him having to fuck a giant spider. Heck I'll go back up in the gallery and tell her we found her a partner and she'll be into this as well. Besides she's not going to stop the tournament or anything, she's enjoying herself a lot already".

"Really?", Bryld looks surprised.

"She has no idea why people are fighting for her but she's loving being at a social event full of humans", Tahenohan grins broadly. Figures, she was her handmaiden all along, she ought to know at least this much about what she thinks.

>"It's decided, we'll hook them up".
>"Bryld is right, let's not meddle".
>"Let's wait and see who wins, first".

>"Let's wait and see who wins, first".

Would be a shame to end the event.

>"Let's wait and see who wins, first".
Maybe it's another great guy!
Tama can have two partners if she wants, just like Lillith.

"Okay look we'll do it like this", you decide, "We'll let this event go as it should, wait and see who wins first, and then decide. I mean we don't want to stop a tournament and we certainly don't know what to expect. Maybe it's another great guy, who knows".

"Unlikely", Tama smirks, "But okay, I'll test the waters first, just in case. But we all know what Tama would think of this".

"I don't think she would mind if she had more than one partner", you agree.

"That's your own lewd talking and you know it", Bryld crosses her arms, "You don't know Tama that well, you can't be sure".

"Still, we're here to help her. If that's what she wants, that's what she'll get. If she doesn't, no harm done. If she just wants a one night stand with a cute boy, we'll still try to hook her up with someone who will stick around. I know she's used to being alone and everything but we don't want her to raise children without help".

Both Tahenohan and Bryld nod in agreement. Well that much you could have given for granted.

"Alright then", the half-elf stands with a manic, excited smirk, quickly dusting her white skirt off with her hands and only just now making you notice she's barefoot, "I'm going back to the gallery and assure everyone you're okay, and then I'm gonna let Tama know. We'll work from there".

"Good, I'm leaving that to you".

"Take care of yourself!", Tahenohan giggles as she dashes out, her skirt dancing around her thin but powerful thighs, her messy hair flowing dizzy in the wind while her flower crown remains inexplicably glued to her head.

With a sigh, Bryld taps on your cast and decides it's good enough, "Okay, one last bit of patience as I take your greaves off".

She moves the piece of wood away and begins to untie the last bits of armour still covering you. You can't describe just how glad you are to have your legs completely free once again, you feel like standing up won't be much of a problem. With Bryld's support you sit up and then stop because you realize your head is spinning a little. Well this much you had to expect, what with how hard you hit it.

"You okay?", Bryld asks, and you nod slowly. It passes as soon as you take a moment to rest, and then you slowly get back on your feet. You should be able to manage, but you're glad to have your squire helping you.

"Say Lillith...", she continues once you're both up and she's half-hugging you as she helps you keep your footing, "Am I selfish?".

"Come again?", you blink.

"I really didn't want you to win. I-I know you've had sex with other women, even after me. Like Tahenohan, but...", she takes a deep breath, "I... If you have children with anyone I want to be the one. But... I think I just want you all for myself". She looks you up, ears somewhat drooping, "Am I selfish?".

>"A bit".
>"Totally".
>"Not at all".
>"I'm not sure".
>"No, but I'm not monogamous".
>Other?

>>

>"No more selfish than anyone else."
>>
>>607356
>>"Not at all".
>>
"No, not at all", you reassure her. You would like to return the hug but with your arm in a cast it's kind of difficult. You can't bend your elbow and frankly, you don't think you would have been able to stand had you not been helped. At least the first time. And you have to keep this for a month? By Ishtar's breasts your life is going to be extra challenging in the next future. "Well okay, maybe a bit, but that's because I'm not monogamous, I'm the abnormal one", you smile.

She chuckles, patting your back, "Oh don't go calling yourself abnormal now. You're just... Well... Peculiar. And don't think I've never met a girl who isn't monogamous, I've had friends who were very carefree when it came to partners", she looks up at you, "But you're upfront about it".

"I'm selfish too", you explain, "When it comes to romance you have to be selfish if you want to get something out of it. So you shouldn't be ashamed of being selfish either".

"But my selfishness would take away from you. I- I can't do that", she shakes her head and sighs, "I'm sorry I shouldn't have brought it up".

You're about to leave the tent, and she pulls you back a bit, blinking and looking a little nervous. "I... I didn't mean to say I don't like you", she looks at you in the eye as she says so, "I very much like you Lillith, I think you're a good person at heart and you've been good to me and I owe you a lot, I'm just afraid you'll see me as a clingy girlfriend who wants to stop you from being... You".

"Bryld, dear", squeezing her hand is all you can do, you'd have to use your right to pat her head properly, "You're no more selfish than anyone else. Besides you haven't really stopped me. The joust did".

You both chuckle a little and head outside. One step, and then Bryld pulls you back again.

"I-I-I also don't mean I regret anything I did with you", she adds, between the nervous and the still chuckling, "J-just so you know, I-".

"Bryld", you look at her with the clearest of intentions, "It's fine, really".

She takes a deep breath and exhales slowly, nodding and smiling once again. "It's... It's so easy with you. Sometimes I even wonder what I was worried about".

"Don't ask me, you didn't come with a recipe", and you both chuckle again. You're quite certain you managed to restore a good mood.

"Alright then, let's show the rest of the world that you're not dead, someone might be worried", your squire suggests as she proudly leads you outside of the tent.

The joust, who is in its latest stages, stops for a moment as the crowd cheers on you as you demonstrate you've recovered. Sort of. You see and hear people clapping as you make your way out, both from the bleachers and the field. You wave your only free hand around, you can't recognize anyone from either crowd except for Tama and Tahenohan at her side, but it sure is nice to feel loved.

It sure is nice indeed.

And this is everything for Episode 76!

Thank you all for participating. Next time we should wrap up the tournament arc... Though maybe the Tama matchmaking arc is not over yet, who knows?

By the way did I mention you're great players? I think by now I should have, at least once. After bearing with me for 76 episodes you definitely deserve a bit of praise, after all. Thank you kindly, and see you next week!

The priest will first need to figure out a way to do that. Then you're not sure, but it might take some time.

You should have introduced him much, much earlier. From the little screentime and relevance he's had, I'm liking him.
>>
>>607550
But then we might not have had the tournament, anon!

Yeah but you never needed him before, and he had no reason to come bother you, and you always had something else to take care of, so...

Hmm...

Does he also treat friction burns?
