You are General Nathan Oman, awakened from thirty years of cyrosleep. You are the last surviving member of the Timmerman Administration, the greatest, strongest government the United States has ever voted into office. You and the rest of the military leadership, under the guidance of President Timmerman, led the country through trying times. Times it would not have survived without you.And how did the people pay you back? After the dust settled and the crisis passed? By handing President Timmerman and the military command over to an international court. They were all sentenced for crimes against humanity. They were all hanged.Except, that is, for you and several other generals. You went into hiding. You all swore that in thirty years times you would return and exact vengeance on the world for the death of your nation.Pt 1 http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive/1661977/Pt 2http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive/1673647/
You stand in God's Garden Base in the territory of Colorado, deep within the rocky mountains. Around you men in army fatigues trot around with cables and gear. They are busy setting up low-signature power generators and hanging the stars and stripes. You watch. They are copies. Copies of good men, who lived good lives until they gave them for their county. One of the copies you are particularly fond of; Jake Malone, ex CIA with a penchant for destruction. There are about five of him now. Five Jake Malone's, four at this base and one in a base in Arizona. You look down at a data pad you hold. Jakes are not the only thing you have. >Supplies/Personal/EquipmentGod's Garden Base10 Advanced Barracuda Assault Drones20 Special Ops soldiers3 Jake Malone's2 3D printersEnough Carbon Ink for ten more personalSundowner/Helios Arizona Base1 Jake Malone10 Special Ops30 Barracuda Assault Drones
And how could you forget Dr. Manning, the man who's interest in theoretical science will keep you one step ahead of the traitor states? You call a meeting in the command bunker. Srgt Rick of the special forces, Two Jakes and Dr. Manning all gather. You stand by a holographic display, with the states of Colorado, Arizona, Virginia and Carolina hovering in the air. These are the states you have somewhat of a presence in. In addition to soldiers and drones, you also have something called a data core, a device capable of attacking integrated systems and bringing them down. Maybe not so useful in the partitioned united states, but outside in China, the EU or the Russian Federation it would do excellent work."I've call you here," You say, addressing those gathered. "For us to decide our next move," Jake3 taps a palm on the table. "Let's use some Barracuda's to turn Carolina to glass. I'm still pissed they kicked us out with a single armor division." "No, no," Dr. Manning says, shaking his head. "We must lay low, can't have them finding us. I have so much to study, to research," "And yet we need more men," Srgt Rick says. "Thirty special forces soldiers isn't enough to run two bases. We need to link up with the militias in Colorado, or move the Virginia militia here if they'll agree to it."You listen to these men, leaning back in your chair and putting your hands under your chin in thought. >Should you harass anyone with the Barracudas? And if so who?>Should you send anyone out to recruit more men? And if so, who?>Should you send any of the Jake's to infiltrate, and if so, where?>You have the strange man Helios, should you utilize him?>You also have the data core, ready to attack, should you use it?

>>1769819>>1769828>>1769840A convoy of trucks winds down the road of a colorado interstate. Three fords and a uhaul make up the procession. They pass sedans and suv's full of families heading out for the weekend. Inside the trucks sits Jake4 and special ops soldiers. They're dressed in civie garb, including sweaters and jeans. The cold colorado weather allows for concealed weapons underneath the men's layers. The convoy pulls off at a roadside bar. Doors open, the men get out, and the ten of them head into the bar. Jake pushes through the front door, walks a ways in, and stops to survey the room. It's a large bar, with five pool tables, several tables for the lunch crowd, and two bars. At the bars, tables and pool tables are about forty assorted men holding pool sticks and beers."I heard this was the watering hole of the Rocky Mountain Patriots," Jake says loudly into the bar. The patrons quiet down, glancing at Jake and straightening up. "Well you don't look like shit to me," Jake says. He begins walking between the pool tables and men. The special ops soldiers follow. "In fact," Jake continues, swiping a beer from a man and taking a drink. He tosses it to the side where it lands with a crash. "All I see is a bunch of drunk hipster wannabees," Jake pauses. Ever eye in the room is on him. The hostility and tension is palpable. "I don't know how the news works in the future, or if you guys know what's going on a state over, but if there is a man among you who wants to actually be a milita man and serve a cause, I'm with the man who raised hell in Carolina and Virginia." The room is silent. One man steps forward, two others behind him. "Listen here," The man says. "I don't know who you are or what you want, but I don't like the way you came in here, and I don't like your face. So if it's all the same to you cocky boy, I'm going to break my fist on your face," "Ha," Jake says, a grin spreading on his face. "Sir, CQ was never my strong suit," Jake pulls a beretta and levels it at the man's chest. "I much preferred guns." Jake raises his voice, addressing the room. "Let me make this perfectly clear! I am drafting the Rocky Mountain Patriots to the Unionists cause! If any man here is not a patriot, leave. Every man who considers himself worthy however, I expect to make himself known to me."The bar continues to be silent. Two men leave, followed by four more. They trickle out, in two or threes, until there is about twenty five left. The man who tried to punch Jake is still there. "What's your name," Jake says, nodding at the man. "Bopo," The man says. "Helluva name," Jake says. "Bopo, you strike me as a leader, and seeing as how I'm CIA I think I'm the authority on who gets to be a leader. So here's the deal. I've got a uhaul out back full of weaponry and gear. I want you and your men familiar and trained with it in three days. Do you think you can do that for me Mr. Bopo?"The man nods. Jake smiles. "Excellent"

You sit in your chair, in the command room. A single light illuminates a giant flag. The stars and stripes. Except the stars are missing. You had a soldier cut them out. You will add them back as the states remember what they are. You hear a knock and turn. Dr. Manning stands at the door. "Ahem," He says, taking a tentative step inside. "General," "Doctor," You say, massaging the bridge of your nose. "What can I do for you," "It's Helios," The doctor says. "I wish to gauge the extent of his abilities,""Hm," You say. "And what does that entail." The doctor wrings his hands."Well general, it would be a field test," "Field test?" You lean forward. "Doctor, the man cannot possibly understand our cause as to be loyal to it. He has the mind of a child,""Exactly," The doctor says, smiling. "He is very impressionable. Very easily influenced. He has been alone in a silo for thirty years after all. He is even taken a liking to your CIA killer,""And you think a field test is appropriate?" You say. "It's essential," The doctor responds. You think for a moment, then turn in your chair towards the holographic display. You tap two buttons, bringing up a map of colorado.">Send Helios to a secluded town >Send Helios to the nearby Colorado Springs Airbase>Send Helios to a major city>Pass on the field test

"Doctor," you say, staring at the green boxes that made up the town. "Should we turn your weapon on, are you confident you can turn it off,""Yes general," the doctor says. He clears his throat, taking out a losange and sucking on it. "I have devised several methods of subduing the sundowner."You turn away from the man. "You see this town doctor," you say."Yes general," he says, peering at the light display. "You have ten minutes to test your weapon here. No more. No less.""Thank you General," doctor manning says, bobbing his head. "I will radio you when the test is about to begin,""Do that," you say. The doctor leaves and you stare at the town. A blinking light appears, indicating a message. "Jake," you say, opening a channel with Jake4. "Nathan," his voice crackles through the line. "I got us about 25 good ol boys, the rocky mountain patriots," "Excellent," you say. "How did you recruit them,""Found their internet page, saw where they drink, walked in and shouted at them till they relented,""Goddamit Jake," you say through gritted teeth. "What happened to subtlety. Trying that in Syria what have gotten you killed. And what about spies and infiltrators? Do you know their loyalty?""Well, I could vet them," Jake says. Couple nomadic immigrant types wandering around, and there's plenty of eyes in the air. But nothing else.""Very good Jake," you say. "Stand by for further orders," You sit in your chair, holding a bottle of whiskey on your knee. You watch a news channel, a new one. None of the old remain. The news is both alien and familiar. There are economic reports, mostly poor. Both everything else is strange to the point of revulsion."General" The holographic display projects a life size image of Dr. Manning. "If you will switch to CC4, I have a bariccuda monitoring Helios from above."You switch channels, and are suddenly treated to a real time view of the Colorado town. Helios walks with uncertain steps through a patch of woods. He emerges at the treeline, passing through a yard and stepping into the main street. A truck screeches its breaks and tries to swerve. It fails, clipping the sundowner. The truck bounces off, spinning violently into a brick building. Helios watches the truck roll to a stop on the sidewalk, then waves his hand. There is a flash of light. You shield your eyes, blinking. When you can see again, you look at the display. The truck is gone. The brick building is gone. The houses behind it are gone. The woods, and mountain peak behind that are gone. "Shut it down doctor," you say, your voice dangerously low. "Yes general" A woman runs out from the woods, waving at Helios. She embraces him, and the super powered man stands there awkwardly. "What it this doctor," you say. "Oh just one of the OSU grad students I kidnapped. He's quite fond of her. Calms him down.""Get him out of there doctor,"You pause. They skid to a halt on the main street. People are gathering there, their voices raised in confusion and terror. The doors to the vans open, and your spec ops soldiers pour out. The people panic as the soldiers run among them. The screaming starts as the soldiers herd the townsfolk into the vans."Doctor Manning!" You say, turning away from the display and staring at his holographic depiction. "Explain yourself immediately""General!" The doctor says, clearly animated with zeal. "It was magnificent! A success on all fronts!" "It was clear from that demonstration," You say, your voice turning into a roar. "That you had no real control outside of sending in a college student!""But general, did you not see the destructive capabilities! The power! What need have we for secrecy! What need have we have mountain bases and secret channels! Nonsense general!" The doctor is clearly on the edge of a frenzy, his excitement overwhelming him. "We have a weapon that will level continents!""Calm yourself doctor," You say, your voice low. "And remember who you serve. Not I, but our once great nation. So you have a nuke wearing the skin of a man. Very good doctor. You will keep him under wraps and contained until further orders.""But general!""You will do as I say, or I will hand you over to foreign courts, as they did to my comrades. Do I make myself clear Dr. Manning?""Yes general," the man says. His holographic display fizzles out. You turn back to the barracuda feed of the town. Your soldiers are moving house to house now, grabbing people and driving them into the vans. The girl continues to comfort Helios, who stands there motionless staring off into the distant sunset.
"Nathan," You open the blinking channel. It's Jake5. "What is it," You say, pouring yourself a drink and sipping it. "I've been monitoring the channels, and there's been an interesting development,""Yes?" You say, leaning back in the chair. "Thirteen states have just agreed to hand over their entire nuclear arsenal to a UN disarmament committee. That's over one hundred warheads that will be in transit to Internationally controlled Arkansas." "And then once in Arkansas?" You say. "They say they're going to dismantle, but who knows," Jake5 says. "Likely some of em' will disappear," "When does this start," "Tomorrow they begin shipping them in what the news refers to as "the most heavily armed convoys ever seen," You nod, listening. You and Doctor Manning, as well as Jake 3 stand around the holographic display. You watch an overhead map with blinking dots. There is one long line of red blinking dots, some moving fast, others moving in convoy fashion. There is about twenty blue dots, representing your spec ops, moving towards the red line. Four other blue dots hang back towards the edge of the map. They are barracuda drones, providing distraction and air support."We're approaching the interstate," Srgt Rick says. "Hard and fast sergeant," You say. "Secure the payloads and get out," "Roger," The blue dots approach the red dots, then all hell breaks out. You hear gunfire, strange, whining sounds, and the tremendous roar of moving earth and trees. "What's going on!" You demand, narrowing your eyes at the holographic display. The radio cackles to life, the sound of voices joining together. Suddenly one rings out loud and clear. "Hello Nathan," You recognize it instantly. The deep echo could only belong to one man; Agent Nelsen. "Mr. Nelsen," You say, threading your fingers and leaning back in your chair. "I must admit to surprise at hearing your voice. I did not think you made it out of Virginia," "Surprise you terrorist bastard," Nelson says over the radio. "While your ragtag milita was getting its, how do you say, ass handed to it, my team and I escaped. Killing plenty of yours along the way, I might add." "Well," You say, eyeing the glass of whiskey resting on the table. "Almost all of your team, right agent Nelsen?"There is silence on the other end of the line, then Nelsen's voice, calm and steady. "I'm afraid this is as far as your little endeavors go Oman," He says. "I'm capturing your men as we speak, then I'm getting your location and coming for you," "Good luck Agent Nelsen," You say, waving at the holographic interface. "Your reassurances are always appreciated," You stop, turning on a dime to face both of them. "But I will not be outfoxed by agent Nelsen ever again. It is time we got smarter. Bigger. I have seen enough now to understand the task at hand, and it is enormous," "Nathan," The first Jake says, rubbing the back of his neck. "Speak plainly, what are you getting at?" "I want to declare to the powers that be that the Unionists have not died, and neither has the Union. I want them to understand that we are taking our country back," "Yeah yeah," The second Jake says, waving. "We've heard the rhetoric, or is that all this is? Are you giving yourself a pep talk? Do you even need us here?" "I have few friends left," You say, allowing yourself a little grin. You've entered the hanger. You signal one of the sentries, who pulls on a lever. The hanger doors open. "But I have always counted you among them,""Sure," The first Jake says, crossing his arms and looking out the hanger. "I'm just doing this till I find an opportunity to fuck up that kid with the AK that did me in,""Ever the hero," You say, peering out with the Jakes."Mister Nelsen," You say, opening a channel on your command tablet. "Are you there?" "I'm here Oman," The german man's deep bass reverberates through the hanger speakers. "Got quite a few of your men. I already have your location," "You'll have to understand if I'm not concerned," You say, peering out of the hanger at the mountains and the rising sun. "You can't keep relying on your fancy drones Oman," Nelsen says over the channel. "Keep introducing them to our F-40's, and eventually you're going to lose all of them,"
"Are you aware of how much money was spent by the last four US administrations on research and development Mr. Nelsen?" You say. "I've seen the figures," The agent replies. "Well let me tell you as someone who was there. It was close to five hundred billion dollars a year. And yes some of that may have been lost to greed and idiocy, but every once in a while Mr. Nelsen, those boys at Lockheed and Martin would come up with something truly wonderful,""What are you getting at Oman," "I would like to introduce you to Benjamin Franklin, codename Helios," You say into the channel. "I think he'll be making my feelings on foreign intervention very clear,"

Spoken words are in Mandarin. Words in () are English. A man wearing a neon colored jacket, red splayed goggles and a bright hat walks along a grassy hill. He walks aimlessly down a path. A small house lays ahead. The man walks up to the house, sizes it up, then walks in through the front door. Inside there is no light save the sun rays pouring in through the many windows. The house is empty, consisting of a single room. In the middle of the room sits a man, crosslegged. He his dressed in a brown, raggedy tunic. His hair is long, black and tangled. He sports a beard that has grown unkempt for many years. The man has his back to the other man in the neon jacket. "Zhang Sanfeng!" The man in the neon jacket says. The sitting man, Zhang, does not move. "My name is-""Fu Xi," Zhang says, still not moving. "You are a man of great skill as I understand," "That's right!" Fu Xi says, shooting finger guns. "I'm a regular internet (cowboy)!"And what brings you to these mountains, to my home," Zhang says, still facing away from Fu Xi."You hear about what's going on in North America?" "I have," Zhang says. "The former (USA) has experienced quite its share of woe of late," "They were shitting in the ocean," Fu Xi says, shrugging. "It was bound to come back to them," "So again, I must ask," Zhang says. "Why are you here," "Lemme show you something," Fu Xi says. He taps his wrist, then makes a throwing motion. A screen appears in the air in front of Zhang. It's a feed, clearly satellite. "This was taken by a Chinese drone," The screen depicts the burning interstate leading out of arkansas. Fu Xi pauses the feed, then zooms in. A grainy, pixelated figure appears among the flames. "What am I looking at," Zhang says, his voice flat."Only a few people in the world know about this," Fu Xi says. "It's a man, or so claims (General Nathan Oman)" "Who is (General Nathan Oman)""Former (USA) general, (Unionists) hardliner""He must be quite old," Zhang says, staring at the screen. "Not even, he and a bunch of his (unionists) buddies froze themselves. (Oman's) the only one who survived," "And he is what," Zhang says. "Controlling the man in this image?" "We believe so," A new voice says. Zhang turns back towards Fu Xi. A new screen has appeared in the air beside the man in the neon jacket. Agent Nelsen is on the screen. "Hello Zhang Sanfeng," Nelsen says. "I'm special agent Nelsen, Interpol. I'm putting a team together,""And you want me," Zhang says, sniffing and scratching at his beard. "That thing you see in the image is some sort of nuclear powered super-human," Nelsen says. "You're the only man on earth who could go up against such a force," "It would be an interesting fight," Zhang says, cracking his neck and stretching. "And this general, he is the target?""(General Oman) is mine," Agent Nelsen says. "But I will certainly need your help for the others,"

Another interstate. Another convoy of trucks. Jake3, as well as ten others, rides north towards the Montana border and the Last Frontiersmen militia. Jake3 sits in the passenger seat of a ford, staring idly out the windows as faint clouds race above. He finally takes his head off the window and fishes a pack of cigerettes from his jacket. He looks over at the driver, a man wearing a denver broncos zipup. "Nice," Jake says, motioning at the drivers hoody. "They still got football in the future?" "W-what?" The driver says, gripping the steering wheel. Jake peers at the driver, studying him. The agent quickly realizes the driver is more a young man, maybe even in highschool. "Your jacket," Jake says. "Denver Broncos, good team.""O-oh," The driver says. "I didn't know, this was my dads," "Christ," Jake says. He turns to the back, where Captain Fero, Srgt Rick's replacement, sits. "Who is this kid driving?" Jake says to the captain. "One of the Elmhurst lot," Captain Fero replies, seemingly uninterested. "Elmhurst?" Jake says, turning towards the driver. "Is that another militia?"The driver doesn't reply, his eyes glued to the road. "You know," Captain Fero says, gesturing vaguely. "Look, I just got, printed, resurrected, whatever, but apparently the General kidnapped an entire town a while back after the nuke man went wild. We've been a bit short-staffed ever since the disarmament fiasco, so we've started using the townspeople for support roles,""Ah," Jake says, evaluating the driver. "How quaint. What's your name?" "K-kyle sir," The driver says, still staring ahead. "Good to meet you Kyle, I'm Jake Malone, though I'm not the only one you'll hear that from. Sorry about being press-ganged. But it's like the general says" Jake's voice drops lower. "We're all Americans, whether we know it yet or not,"Captain Fero and the spec ops soldier next to him laughs. Kyle smiles a bit. "The g-general," Kyle says. "The others w-who look like you,""Eh, the science is a bit wonky, they're certainly supposed to look like me," Jake opens the pack of smokes. "But I'm going to be the first Jake who takes up smoking. Gotta be able to tell us apart somehow," Jake3 takes out a cig and lights it, dragging in deeply. He immediately rolls down the window, tosses the cig, and spit-coughs. "Gawdamn!" Jake says, wiping his mouth. "That wasn't a marlboro!"Kyle smiles. "My dad used to say the same thing," Kyle takes a breath, growing more confident. "The chinese saw that cigs were killing their people almost as fast the pollution. But you can't blame pollution.""So they went after marlboro," Jakes says. "No more chemicals," Kyle says. "No more cowboy,""Damn shame," Jake says, tossing the pack out the window. "Well I understand all this can be a bit frightening Kyle," Jake says. "But stick with me and"
The truck in front of Jake's explodes in a fiery, splintered mess. Twisted metal flies by the windows, the windshield cracking under the head. Kyle screams and swerves, pumping the breaks. The truck behind explodes as well, sending the vehicle flipping onto its roof. "DRONE STRIKE" Jake yells, holding his hands to the roof for support. Another explosion sounds, and a third truck turns into a bubbling fireball. Kyle throws the truck into park, screaming. "Kyle!" Jake yells, trying to restrain the young man. "KYLE!" Kyle breaks loose, opening the door and making a run for it. "KYLE NO!" Jake screams. Kyle takes four steps and is cut down by the screaming bullets of an AC130. "Fuck shit!" Jake yells, beating on the console. >Stay in the truck>Make a run for it>Try and make it to the weapons truck

>>1773765>>1773793"Agent Malone!" Captain Fero screams."I know I know!" Jake says, moving from the passenger over to the driver. "Fucking drones!" Jake throws the truck into drive and peels away from the ditch. Another explosion sounds. "We're dead!" Captain Fero says, gripping the headrest of Jake's seat. "They've got a warbird up there!""I'm right there with you captain," Jake says, slamming the gas. "But I worked from an AC130 quite a bit, and I'm hoping those gunners up there are as incompetent as my gunners were back in the 20's""Sir!" The other spec ops soldier says, pointing at a patch of woods. "Change of plans boys," Jake says, throwing on the brakes. "Everybody out, those trees are our only hope!" Jake, Captain Fero and the other soldier burst out of the truck, then begin sprinting. The distant sound of an engine whine heralds the coming of the warbird. "Runnnn!" Jake yells. Wood splinters ahead as the AC130 fires off a round. Fero and the other soldier make it to the woods, but Jake stops short as a second burst tears up the earth in front of him. He pauses, shielding his face against the dirt clods. An explosion raises the earth around him, and Jake is thrown back. He rolls to a stop, coughs, then tries to get up. The agent slowly gets to his feet as the dust clears. The warbird is turning in the sky, getting ready for another run. Jake smirks, raising his hands to the sky. "Yeah yeah," He says, closing his eyes. "Can't be any worse the second time," Jake hears an explosion and opens his eyes. The warbird is spiraling out of the air, in flames. "Well shit," Jake says, putting his hands to his hips. "How do you figure,"Jake hears the roar of engines and turns. Four pickup trucks come down the road. Each has anti-aircraft weaponry welded to the bed. Riding the trucks are men in flannel and cowboy hats. The trucks head towards Jake, coming to a screeching halt in a circle around him. One of the doors open, and an older man steps down from the truck. He's wearing an armor vest and a SCAR assault rifle. "Howdy sir," The man says. "You must be one of the General's men,""Ezekiel Hutch," Jake says. "Of the Last Frontiersmen, I presume,""That'd be me," "Well I can't thank you enough for saving us mister Hutch," Jake says. Captain Fero and the other soldier emerge from the woods and approach. "We were dead without you," Jake clears his throat. "In fact, we may be dead without you anyway,""Save your spiel son," The man says, holding up his hand. "These other boys are too young, but you're staring at a unionist. My brothers served while I ran the family lands, but I was just as much a patriot as they. And when they were both hanged in Boston, I swore I'd have blood for blood,""Well," Jake says, nodding. "I see. I guess the next question is, how many of yours are willing to serve the general?""Bout a thousand,"Jake smiles. "Excellent, let's find someplace safe to talk,"
You've retrieved a distress call from the Carolina milita. Apparently Interpol is performing raids, across several Appalachia towns, taking anyone they suspect of unionist sympathies. The milita are asking for transfer for them and their families to a base, or protection>It's not safe, deny them their request>Bring them to the base, using a Jake or spec ops>Send a Jake or spec ops to help them

"Nathan," Jake says. You hold up your hand, signaling him to give you a moment. "Let me get this straight," You begin. "Nathan, stop," Jake says. "You know I'm right. You asked for something big? This is something big. Using the data core on the Colorado river pumps would send the entire region into chaos. The nation states, whatever peace they may have had, will be instantly susceptible to our operations," "I'm assuming," You say. "That there will be tremendous loss of life,""Sure," Jake says, rolling his eyes. "Old people and weak kids always die during shakeups, god knows I saw plenty of that during the arab spring,""The international agencies would stop us," You say. "They couldn't possibly," Jake says. "They'll have their hands full with extreme drought and power failures among the western states.""And what states would we be taking?" "Utah and Montana for sure," Jake1 says, motioning at a holographic map. "The Last Frontiersmen gave us a damn army, and some pretty wicked pickup trucks to boot. Once we crack open that secret tank base, we'll have even more armor. Utah has similarly numbered Militias we can contact through Hutch.""Two states doesn't justify the loss of life," You say. "Well, I mean, once we have Utah and Montana we could probably steamroll right through Nevada and Colorado. All we'd have to worry about is California," "What's to worry about California," You say. "Trust me," Jake says, "We'll need a wholev other briefing to talk about that, but trust me, you don't want to catch California's attention.">Use the datacore on the Colorado river pumps>Decline Jake's proposal

"Do you think this is a conventional conflict? That you're going to roll from city to city liberating the states like some sort of Patton wannabe? You've got to decide what you want, and how far you're willing to go to get it, because we're about thirty years too late for the Unionists dream!"You stare at Jake, then nod, standing. You turn and gaze at the flag hanging on the wall. "The unionist dream." You say, almost to yourself. "It was the american dream, or it should have been. Unity. That's all we wanted. Unity in the face of doom.""Oh fuck off it Nathan," Jake1 says. "You know I don't care about the rhetoric. I did what they told me to do, and it paid well. I died, I've come to terms with it. You lost when hanged Timmerman, face it. You're either waging a revenge campaign, or you're more delusional then my sixth copy.""You're wrong Jake," You say, softly. "Excuse me?" "I said you're wrong," You turn to face him, peering down with absolute stoney features. "The dream is not dead. The dream never died. Every state we come to, every man and woman we recruit proves the dream still lives. The militas know the people were stronger when the states were united. The foreign powers remember the US. They fear what we could do if we were to rise again." You take a step forward, bringing your face close to Jake's. "I think it's time you asked yourself Mr. Malone," You say. "Do you share the dream? Or are you just playing a delusional role,"Jake stares at you, then finally smirks. "Fuck it Nathan, you know I'm with you," You nod, sitting. "How many," "People in hospitals would probably die, I mean hospitals need power and the colorado pumps supply most of the regions grids. People in remote settlements might be forced to flee to the city when the aqueducts run dry. That sort of stuff,"

They may have intelligence even if old they could share or scientists/science.What about countries like Japan or other ASEAN states? They can't be happy with Chinese domination even if on the surface they're cooperative. We should also see about instigating some sort of conflict in Africa to try and draw the Chinese military attention into there and away from us. >>1775899If we can get the Chinese army away from India's borders, we could convince them to stage an invasion, as they certainly have the manpowerSo we could stage a conflict in Africa, or even let China build up a huge amount of soldiers in the US, then we could use Helios or some bomb to take them out, letting India step in

"We're pulling out of Cheyenne completely. The barracuda's there will cover the infantry's retreat," "Yeah yeah," Jake1, currently based in the Cheyenne Medical Research School, says. "Our men aren't going to last another two days, so make sure it's some damn heavy bombing,""It will be. Be ready to move in an hour. Moving on," Jake5 says. "We have good news and bads news from Denver command,"Jake3, his face fuzzy on the screen, nods. "The good news is we've got about ten thousand armed men streaming into the city under the "unionists" cause. The bad news is they're completely unorganized and are tearing the city apart. The Colorado army is holed up at the airport, and as long as they control it they've got a pretty good foothold in the city. If we don't push them out, pretty soon we're going to be dealing with rampaging militias and total societal collapse in Denver, or worse, rival factions.""We've begun significant online campaigns to call more states to our cause," Jake5 says. "Militia forces are headed towards the rockies from the eastern states, and our estimates talley them at almost a million. The problem being they can't get past the midwest. The nation state armies and the european asian coalition forces are engaging them and stopping them there. Letting them fight it out is fine, as it will distract the east and the coalition. But helping them would give us their numbers.""We have also recently purchased a shipment of T-90 tanks and missile platforms," Mayor Vandal says, consulting a data pad. "The shipment will come in through Mexico, but if discovered the coalition will do everything in their power to stop it,"
"and last but not least," Jake5 says. "Mister Hutch of the Last Frontiersmen has declared that he is leaving Salt Lake City to overthrow the Montana government. His soldiers make up 60% of our forces in Utah. We can hold the city without him, as the only opposition is the bombing campaign, but if there is a land assault we'll lose the city to the viceroy's forces.
>>1776065Get boys that know the routes over to the Rockies and bring in the fresh faces. Along with a route to Mexico needs to be secured. Also get that air-field under control and if we can't. >>1776089This but I would like to add on that we should make sure that Hutch pulls out from Salt Lake under darkness, so we can maintain atleast some semblance of force thereFor Colorado, we should send the last 5 Abrams that we had in storage for an offensive on the airport. We'll use every asset we have in the city to help

Sitting at the tables surrounding Jake3 is about thirty men, all dressed in varying degrees of camo, tactical gear and weaponry. "Alright listen up," Jake says, his voice rising above the hum of the generator. "The general appreciates all you patriots coming out to support the cause of a united peoples, but it as it stands we're about a week away from total anarchy. So I called all you former commanders turned militia and patriarchs and whatever else passes for leadership these days here so we can take Denver," "I stand for the Free Northeast territories!" A bearded man says, standing. "And me and mine are here to realize the new nation!""Now," Jake says, pointing. "See, that's exactly what we're trying to avoid. We're here to bring back the old america. The good one. Not make a new, smaller nation in the corner.""I stand by what I said!" The bearded man says. "And we're here for the restoration of power to the western nations!" Another man says, standing. "We just need the generators running again, or the water doesn't flow to our farms!""Okay," Jake says, throwing up a hand. "That's reasonable, I get that. But none of you are going to get jack shit unless we come together and kick the Colorado Army the fuck out of their pillow fort! Now my people are the ones with the experimental drones and the tanks that can target people through walls, so I say you lot listen to me, and when we're done we can have a fucking continental congress meeting,"The room is silent. The first bearded man nods. "Alright, sounds good to me," The rest nod. Another man throws up a rifle. "Let's kick those bastards out of Denver!" The room answers with cheers and shouts. "That's more like it," Jake says, crossing his arms.

"General Oman," Jake5 hails you on the command frequency. You answer. "Report Mr. Malone," "Good news and bad news, what do you want to hear first,""Just get on with it," You say, staring at a news feed passing through the air. "Good news is I've been digging through the old pentagon command system, and have uncovered three new bases. One in Missouri, one in Tennessee, and one in Louisiana. All three were home to some top secret projects, but it's the one in Missouri I think you'll be interested in," "What is in Missouri," You say. "According to the pentagon system," Jake says. "Deep within a place called the Branson Environmental Research Facility is about three hundred frozen marines and fifty delta force commandos""Impossible," You say, your voice low. "Cyros is too dangerous of a process, I know that first hand. Most of them have to be dead,""Not according to the system,""Why were they frozen," You say, rubbing your chin. "That's the really interesting part. Apparently they were part of a project known as "Perfect Soldier". I don't need to guess and what quality of soldiers they are." "We don't have many personal left," You say."Perhaps first Jake will help, he's on his way back from Cheyenne," Jake5 says. "You said you had bad news," You say, looking up at the screen with Jake's face."Yeah," Jake5 says. "I also managed to get access to some interesting satellites lying dormant above earth. The Chinese got most of the good ones, but there's one I'm hacking into right now that should yield some interesting capabilities. I also got ahold of a surveillance satellite, and what it's showing is not pretty," "What did you see," You say. "Massive infantry and armor movement headed towards Utah,""The Coalition," You say. "Yeah, my guess is you have about twenty four hours before they really up the air strikes in preparation for the advance forces,""Hm," You say, sitting down. You knew you could never hold on to any of the cities without serious resistance. To lose your liberated holdings so fast," You take the whiskey out from the desk you had hauled into the command room. "Drinking again General Oman?" Mayor Vandal says, raising an eyebrow. "The coalition army is about to roll over Utah," You say, popping the top and drinking from the bottle. "Then perhaps it is time you turned your attention back to the south," Mayor Vandal said. "The west can wait, but as I understand it there about a million men fighting around Arkansas and Tennessee who could use our help,""Possibly a good idea," Jake5 says from his screen. >Take forces from Denver and try and reinforce Salt Lake City>Abandon the city, retreat to the mountainsand >Choose who to send to the new bases
>>1776207>Take forces from Denver and try and reinforce Salt Lake CityIf we secure the line to Mexico and the extra million men we can drive them out.
>>1776207We can't lose Utah, nor the battle for Denver. The blow to morale would be too much. We'll have to think outside the box with halting the major attack, using every asset we haveSince Denver is broken, we'll have to send every armor unit and drone unit we have to the staging grounds in Utah. The Denver forces will just have to maintain the city with trucks and cars, under good leadership. The fact of the matter is that we could be looking at maybe half a million well equipped enemies, but they lack the morale. We'll have to find any man that knows the land around the approaching army's route, and have them set up ambush and harassing points. We'll have armored vehicles and trucks attack and prod the outsides of the main force. We'll probably lose Utah, but we need to be able to do some serious morale damage and physical damageHit and run attacks are the key
>>1776241>>1776258You sit in your command chair, at your desk in front of the holographic display. The bombing campaigns against Salt Lake City have increased to the point of rendering the city uninhabitable, and millions of people stream towards Colorado. Your forces, bolstered by re-enforcements from denver, are embedded deep within the city. The coalition advance forces have reached Salt Lake City, but so far your experimental Abrams have formed an impenetrable defensive line."Nathan," a voice says. You look up from the display and see an image of Jake5. "Report," You say. "We're holding in Utah for now, but it's all coming down to who controls the airspace. We've got about forty hours to come up with more planes or some serious ground-to-air weaponry. I suggest taking the rest of the money we have and purchasing some F-35's from an underground armory in Texas. "No no," says another voice. You turn and see Dr. Manning shuffling into the command room. Mayor Vandal is behind him holding a data pad. "We can not spend money on planes and tanks," The doctor says, coming up before you. "General, I need all our resources and money to funnel into a massive breakthrough I've had," "What is it doctor," You say. "I have studied Helios to the point I think I have a grasp on his physiology. I was hoping to harness his energy, but we are still years away from that under present conditions. What I do think I can do is replicate his unique genetic make-up and induce massive physical change in others using,""What the doctor means," Mayor Vandal says, stepping forward. Chinese and California units failed to move so much as an city block since early September, leaving many wondering, what happened?>Failed Air Campaign Much fanfare was made over the Coalition's combined arms doctrine, which the NA command staff said would have unionists forces retreating within the week. Instead the bombing campaign rendered much of Salt Lake City to rubble, drawing stern outcry from the international community. Unionist forces embedded deeply within the city, and experts say they've likely managed to weather the majority of the bombing.>Failed Follow-ThroughImmediately proceeding the bombings were the advancement of several armor and infantry divisions. This was supposed to be done under the cover of absolute coalition air superiority. Instead the coalition planes were met with anti-air weaponry and a rebel-owned airforce. "The rebel's having planes were a complete surprise to all," a spokesperson for General Chan Lao said. "We have strong evidence linking the presence of rebel fighter jets to the Republic of Texas,"The supplying of weapons to militias by Texas should come as no surprise to anyone who keeps abreast of events in North America, but it's still a frustrating turn of event for peace in the region, and likely to increase tensions between Texas and California. >Advanced WeaponryNot only are the rebels in Salt Lake City using Texan F-35's, but reports are coming in of other weapons capable of keeping the coalition at bay. War correspondent Li Fushun was recently quoted as saying"The (coalition) units are holed up in the outskirts, afraid of the unionists drones. The (coalition) drones and planes cannot see them, and the (unionists) drones destroy anyone that ventures into the open"If the unionists really do have some sort of super drones, that is indeed dire news for General Chan Lao, who promised just last week for a "quick resolution to a conflict that has already gone on for far too long"Another anonymous source within the North American command was quoted as saying. "The coalition armor units cannot advance for fear of the unionists tanks. They move from street to street, firing shells and rockets and then disappearing again."Phantom drones and tanks, eh general Lao? Might be time to rethink that promise-Sulan Wu, Hong Kong Times
"Congratulations General," Mayor Vandal says, standing next to you in the command center. "It seems you've managed to stall the coalition forces, to the surprise of everyone. Now what?"

He has a canteen and aviators, and takes generous sips from the canteen. You suspect it has gin in it. "Jake," You say. "We have two cities brought back under the American flag. That's two more then I thought I'd have," "I'll be honest," Jake says, scratching the back of his head. "I was just as surprised as anyone when we held onto Salt Lake City. It's that dammed tank commander, Captain Bellfast. He's making the experimental abrams dance and the enimies cry,""Yes, medals all around when he gets back," You say, staring off into the distance. "Jake, I have a problem,""What is it Nathan,""Our movement is being carried by pure momentum. I used the last of our funds to purchase an air force, and every day that passes we could lose them all,""Well," Jake says, taking another drink of the canteen. "You've got a couple options. We have two cities. That means we have the capabilities to set up server farms and mine crypto currency,""The hell does any of that mean," You say, narrowing your eyes at Jake. "It's a thing now," Jake says, shrugging. "Super illegal, but we're in the unique position to utilize an entire cities infrastructure towards it. Denver's specifically, Salt Lake City is gonna be a battle ground for the forseeable future.""And this is illegal, this farming,""Oh yes, really fucks with the local economy, and the world economy too. Not too bad mind you, but people will be pissed," "And the other option?""Nathan, let's face it," Jake says. "The only reason we've been able to accomplish so much is because we seem to be the only one's in the entire world with access to the old pentagon system. The way I see it, we're sitting on a veritable gold mine of weaponry that was so advanced it's still cutting edge thirty years later." Jake motions at the base nestled in the valley behind you. The group shuffles together down the stairs into the Manufacturing Lab. Dr. Manning sees you from a distance. He is standing next to a series of sheets draped down like walls. Large power cables snake in and out under the sheets. The Doctor waves at you. You and the others trot towards him, then Mayor Vandal collapses. You hear the shot a moment later. The support staff freezes, shocked, while you dive behind a work station. "General Oman!" A voice cries out. "Agent Nelsen," You say, checking your beretta from behind the cover of the work station. "I wish you hadn't shot my civilian staff," "You know the rules," Nelsen calls out. "You had her pick up the gun, she was fair game," "I'm surprised you didn't shoot me first," You say, peering out from behind the workstation. A bullet whizzes by your head, sending you back behind cover."Oh no General," Nelsen calls. "I haven't forgot what you did. No quick death for you," "You fool!" Dr. Manning says. You look over to him. The doctor is obscured behind a white sheet, but his voice carries over. "You should not have intruded! My specimen is not ready, but now I see I must accelerate the time table!" You hear the sound of machines humming, and the growing growl of a generator. "Dr. Manning!" You shout, the veins bulging on your neck. "Stop whatever you're doing!" "Have no fear General!" Dr. Manning calls. "You will see what I have done, and be amazed!" A primordial scream issues forth from within the wall of sheets, then a dark shape tears through the fabric. The sheet walls tumble and cables explode. The dark shape hurdles itself over workstations, and the sound of gunfire fills the lab. You dive from the work station and roll to kneeling position, gun aimed. You aim wildly until you zero in on the large black shape. It's tearing into a bearded man in rags. The bearded man is taking the blows, seemingly shimmering.More lights boot on, and you can see the lab clearly now. The black shape is a monstrous creature of fur and bone-white claws. You get a glimpse before more bullets send you falling backwards. You hit the tile floor and start scooting behind another work station. Nelsen is out there somewhere, and he has you in his sights. You continue to crawl and move between workstations, bullets screaming overhead. Beakers and electronics explode around you as Nelsen sprays the room. You spot another series of white sheet walls and scramble underneath them. Bullets whip into the sheets, sending them shaking. You continue crawling until you pass into an open space among the sheets.
Helios sits there, connected to a heart monitor station. He holds an action figure in his hand. "Hello Ben," You say, flinching as another bullet goes through the sheets. "Hello general," Helios replies, a distant look to his eyes. >Send Helios out into the brawl>Leave him, continue on to the hanger>Bring him with to the hanger
>>1780777>Helios, You want to protect those you care about correct? She is in danger by those men who are invading the base. Can you kill them and keep us all safe, Be a hero like that action figure? >Send Helios out and go with him.
>>1780786Supporting >>1780777Also will no dice be rolled?
>>1780817It's more of a I prompt you guys and then you prompt me type of thing. There will be rolls sometimes, but that's usually just because I'm trying to switch it up between first person command, meta news articles and action sequences
>>1780827Seems like a cool different system. Right now, i'm getting tired of the 'tanned' German
>>1780786>>1780817Helios stares at you, then stands. The heart rate wires tear away from his body. You move back, and the man bends down at the knees. A moment later he lunges through the sheet walls, tearing them with him and sending wires flying. You see work stations explode and several lights burst. >Run for the hanger>Locate and engage Nelsen
>>1780835>Right now, i'm getting tired of the 'tanned' GermanWho?
>>1780844>Locate and engage Nelsen
>>1780846Nelsen, he's German but is black. It's a old meme from Germany news.>>1780844>Locate and engage Nelsen
Brief break to recharge, My Father's Country resumes with a new thread on Friday, noon central time
We need to get ourself Lazarus'd so we can have a backup. Not only that, but imagine what we could do as propaganda:>get more organic fluid>make 7 clones of us and enough spec ops to infiltrate 6 capital cities(2 extra from 4 mentioned later in case of failures)>get a sub to bring bombs and weapons to France (I believe we know of an advanced sub base, right?)>station one of ourselves ready to take one for the team, (as we are clearly willing to die for America) in a base>leak the location of the base in a "hack of the rebel network" by one of the altered interpol team members >put up a token resistance as if caught completely off guard>the enemy finally captures the "evil General Oman" in a daring secret raid>he dies in the "crossfire" >wait until enemy makes a big news broadcast as they always do after getting a high value target>2-3 days later blackout small port and transport bombs and clones from sub to waiting cars and get them moving into position>That night, suddenly all of Europe goes dark except for a path spelling out USA across the continent(if possible with our AI core, otherwise as much blackout as possible)>one of our satellites takes a video of it from space as the lights go out >broadcast live on every channel we can around the world (infiltrate major broadcasting networks beforehand)>take advantage of the chaos to bring a clone and a bomb into 4 different capitals >suddenly the picture of blackout Europe goes away and a live feed cuts in >General Oman walks into view of the camera in European main capital city right in front of the dark capital building>"I believe the world is mistaken about something.">then the screen divides into two live feeds and it is another general in another city>"Did you really think that it was all over?">screen divides into 4 live feeds with more clones in capitals in front of govt buildings>"Well let me tell you what I think." >"I think you have severely underestimated the American dream.">4 feeds get smaller and move to the corners of the screen bringing up the satellite feed in the middle between them"No foreign government will Ever again rule American soil. Let this be a warning, pull out of our country immediately. We wish no harm to the citizens of the world, but do not force our hand. Our goal is simple.">Simultaneously blow up all 4 capital buildings behind the clones, making sure to use enough power that they are visible from the sat feed>all 4 generals say at the same time "America First. America Forever." >the feeds cut out to a flag and the US national anthem>world falls into complete chaos as they see 4 of the super general they thought was gone for good appear at the same time hundreds of miles apart while causing a massive blackout and blowing up 4 different capital buildingsMost countries would probably surrender there, if they don't and their people saw the broadcast they would have a lot of scared af people to deal with demanding withdrawal from America
>>1784324Suddenly the tiny rebel force who everyone believed was dealt a crushing blow and on the edge of defeat becomes a nearly godlike entity in the view of anyone who sees the broadcast, having raised the dead, blacked out all of Europe, and instantly razed 4 coalition capital buildings. This would probably be even more effective against enemy morale than the nuclear weapons used on Japan. (2/2)
>>1784352Seems like a good idea
>>1784352Sounds like a really intricate plan with high risks and if any single part went wrong it could get us fucked over... I like it.
>>1781695>central timeIt's Noon OP
>>1784843It's not all that risky I think. If we Lazarus ourself and always make sure at least one of us is out of the immediate action in a base that they haven't found yet, we are much safer than we are now.
I imagine the unionist flag would look like this but instead of an egale it's angry phoenix
>>1785142Shit forgot flag
>>1785144Flag from fallout thread
>>1781695U here OP?
>>1785142>>1785144I figured we were going for a complete restoration of the US flag
>>1784324kek this is like a rube goldberg plan
>>1786243Yeh, Oman cut out the stars on the flag so he could put them back on as he goes earlier
>>1786243I see it more as a batltle flagWe shall use the stiched up american flag when we get all the states back on boardIt would look good on propganda
Also maybe we should call ourself Omen after we do this >>1784352 >>1784324The man who came back from the dead to deliver a sign of things to come.Might even ramp up the intimidation factor a bit more
>>1785144I really like this flag and plus can we rename the nation to the American Union State since we probably don't like the idea of individual states anymore since they all ya know seceeded?
>>1786499No it seems like Lop described them as forcefully removed from the union after the world put the hammer down on us
sorry guys for the delay, crazy day, new thread coming soon with link here
