Titans Quest, takes place in the DC universe and focuses on Teen Titans team. In particular it focuses on you, Adam Issacs, a new member of the team who has been active in the cape community for a little over a month. Currently you have been given an extremely minor leadership role with in the group. As the quest goes on you might remain on the team to as a mentor or even leader, move onto the Justice League, or go solo either as a hero or villain. Maybe you’ll fuck up big and wind up drafted on the Suicide Squad. You might even save the world here and there, maybe even land a date land another date. The Titans are a New York based team of former sidekicks/young adult heroes who have decided to help train and support teenagers/new heroes just starting out on their own. Naturally while this quest is based on the DC comics universe, things are different. Superheros haven been around since forever, especially since WWII, but the Justice League has only been around a little less than ten years. The Teen Titans, have been active now for eleven months and are a little obscure except to news hounds, New Yorkers, and super hero fanatics. On the broader scale, a lot of big villains and heroes haven’t made their debut. Darkseid and the rest of the New Gods are a mystery, Trigon is a myth, and Booster Gold is still a washed up security guard a couple of centuries into the future.Welcome to the New Age of HeroesTwitter: https://twitter.com/ManThorQMCharacter Sheet: https://pastebin.com/YqzUnUifCharacter Relationships: https://pastebin.com/Bbak8nVEDiscord: https://discord.gg/a83KzRArchives: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?tags=Teen%20Titans%20QuestSide Stories: https://pastebin.com/7HaBWqUY
The air smells of salt and the sea, a cool wing caressing your face as it moves west and relieves you of the heat if only for a moment. The whole area looked less like a site of dangerous experiments, and more at home as a prop for either a swords and sandals type movie or a vacation ad. Long clean yet dusty beaches stretching as far as the eye can see, steep cliffs dotting here in there next to wide brushes of trees, and ruins that seem to making artistic statements rather than simply decaying in the background. You stop staring down from the completely transparent floor of the plane, a little discombobulated. You had no idea why needed an invisible airplane, let alone flew it. Too damn weird. You decide to just look straight for the rest of the short flight remaining. Curiosity might not really have killed the cat, but it did get him air sick.Wonder Woman sits next to you in her uniform in an extremely relaxed but dangerous looking pose, a tiger ready to pounce. She seemed to be just looking a head as she piloted the thing but one eye seemed to dart around, though you can’t really be sure she was actually doing that. Artemis is checking and sharping random arrow heads obviously pre mission goosebumps doing it’s work on her. Raven is just mediating, the breeze lifting her hair into the air for a moment, without not even noticing. Raven was always calm as a cucumber before and during a mission. Beast Boy was chilling out playing some Game and Watch handheld thing. He put up a decent facade of not caring but he clearly was stroked. To Garfield much of what they did was a game, a serious one with repercussions, but a game nonetheless.>A.) Ask Wonder Woman if she is sure of her information>B.) You shuffle towards Raven, failing your arms around to find your way around to both not bang into anything or find a seat. Your eyes are utterly useless when everything is naked to human vision. You slouch down next to her, breaking her out of her concentration, and forcing a smile on her face that she quickly tries to force into a frown.“Am I interrupting anything” You ask playfully.“I don’t know, just my preparedness, my ability to focus, and my grasp on the leylines.” Raven says wryly. While she almost always varies mostly between a sardonic or sarcastic tone, you can tell this time it’s in good humor. “You’re lucky your cute.”You laugh briefly before your back swinging backwards from the force of it causes you to bang your head. Then Raven finally laughs before trying to put on her serious face again. You can’t help but smile at how devoted she is that act.>A.) Ask her if she can sense anybody on the island, she is a empath after all>B.) Ask her if she’s mad you got a leadership postion before her.>C.) “Hey Raven, can you see or sense, if that’s the right word, if anyone is down on that Island there?” You ask, daring to peer down through the invisible floor again. Raven looks at you for a moment and then closes her eyes again, her head burrowing in concentration. More and more to the point the crease on her head looks like a giant mouth sloppering all over the place. Raven breaks her silence with a painful sounding hum, causing you to place your hands on her shoulders and shaking her for a bit. Still she continues on almost to the point you’re about to yell for Wonder Woman and help. When she opens her eyes she’s totally relaxed, until she sees your hands on her.“Mind letting go for a second?” Raven asks sheepishly, causing you to drop your hands sheepishly.“Sorry.” You say, frowning and putting your hands up helplessly.“It’s okay when I’m probing mentally, it can get like that. Yes I sense two groups of people, each anxious and worried about each other. Despite the stakes a typical business deal as done by crooks.” Raven starts. “If I had to guess they are somewhere in the ruins”“Hey, Raven?” You ask, changing track for a moment. “Are you mad about our date getting canceled. I understand if you’re pissed”“No, we have mission. But I know you’re not working when we get back sooo...” Raven says leaving the sentence dangle. “If you would excuse me Adam, I need to prepare for this.”>A.) Go check on Wonder Woman.>B.) You walk over to Artemis crouched over, as she peers down at her arrows whittling at them with some type of specialty knife. You plop down next to her head facing forward to avoid having to look down again. Her eyes meet your a second but a a muted smile spreads across her face as her attention returns to her weapons.“You can fly you know? How can you be scared of this?” Artemis asks in a strained voice desperately to make lite. “I might be able to fly but my brain doesn’t know that. Not really anyway.” You say in an exaggerated wise voice, making Atremis giggle a little. “Are you okay? I know in Gotham and Star City you got used to taking down thugs who knocked over gas stations and even banks, hell you even busted a drug syndicate once, but this is a little above that. It’s okay to be nervous.” You say turning your head towards Artemis. At first she just continues to play with the arrows and look down, but she eventually returns your gaze.“You bet I am. I’m always nervous before a fight or a job or a mission. Can’t help it.” She starts, a little sheepishly but more assured now. “Thanks for the concern though, it’s kind of cute. But then again that’s kind of what you are all together.”>A.) Thanks, but I thought of myself as more as dashing.>B.) Thanks, just so you know I am seeing some one though>C.) “No problem, we’re Titans. We got to have each others backs.” You say, Artemis smile becoming more relaxed and less strained. “What was it like working with the Green Arrow?”“Oh him? Big softy. I mean he’s a great teacher and mentor, really supportive and he has almost unlimited patience. Let me make my own mistakes and was happy to show me where I made a mistake, not just lecture me on it. Always there to lend a shoulder to cry on and I can’t remember a single time he was short with me at all and sometimes I kinda of deserved it. I honestly can’t believe he wound up a cape whatsoever. He’s so far left you’d think he’d be the guy suing Batman’s pants off not be in the streets with him knocking out drug dealers.” Artemis says. “Speaking of which could you tell me who taught you how to do this? I know Beast Boy was taught by Doom Patrol but you? Kinda just jumped onto the scene” Artemis asks>A.) That’s kinda of exactly how it happened really. >>1734890Were mid trans-atlantic flight. We got as much time as we need for this.
“That’s kinda of exactly how it happened really. I started literally by jumping out of a hospital” You start, smiling a little bit. This was kinda getting easy for you at this point. “I was cooked up in a petri dish or something by H.I.V.E the guys we’re about to take out now. I pretty sure they made me to do this.” Artemis looks at you for a minute looking utterly stunned and if you had to guess impressed for whatever reason. She doesn’t say anything and just looks at you for a moment her eyes two movie screens not playing anything at the moment. Finally she looks down and back at you and saying something.“Wow. That kinda sucks. It’s great that you have that baggage worked out though I wish the rest of the world was that lucky. When did you find out? Was it when you started or before that?” Artemis asks.“I found out a couple of days ago.” You answer, shrugging at the question.“Jesus, and you just are okay just telling that to people? That really is amazing.” Artemis says in a little wonder creeping into her voice. She really was amazed and impressed by this for whatever reason.“Well, of course. You’re a Titan, if I can’t trust you with this who I can I?” You answer. She let’s that sink in for a moment>A.) Go hang out with Beast Boy and get him ready.>B.) “Hey Gar, what are you playing?” You ask looking down at his Game and Watch device.“Some cooking type game, you flip around the stick figure guy and an order of food to make sure it doesn’t fall. Kind of fun.” Garfield says, lounging around something on the two seats on his side. You really had to wonder how the hell he did it, was almost impossible for you to find a seat let alone that. You guess Garfield was just an expert in lazing around. Lucky Bastard.“Well shut it off, we’re going to be landing sooner rather than later. So save or something.” You say, Gar bringing up a hand to shush you. He turns to you a little bored and points at the screen showing off it’s LED screen and two dimensional figure“That not type of game, way too simple. “Hey you might be the youngest on here but you’re one of the most experienced. A serious look entered his eyes. “Hey Adam, can I ask you a question?”“Sure.” You answer. “Kind of a weird complaint considering I’m a guy after all, so I won’t mind if you think I’m weird for asking this but can you ask Tara back off a little?” Garfield asks. “I really like her, but she’s always pushing us to spend time together a little too much. And she got a little handsy last night and….”“Don’t need to here the rest of this conversation. If she’s going to fast she’s in the wrong not you. You’re too young that weird macho crap, don’t let her make you feel uncomfortable.” You answer“Thanks...but that leads into another question. She was also kinda distant this mourning. “Just be honest with Gar. You two need to have a conversation about boundaries. You know what? I’ll talk to her to. Make sure we get this all settled out? Okay?” You say, leaning over and patting him on the back. Garfield nods, offering a smile for you.“Alright thank you man, what a relief.” Gar says before almost being knocked out of his seat with turbulence. You looks down and watch as the plane slowly descends to the other side of the island. Looks like you’re about to land. You rush over to Wonder Woman grappling something on the invisible plane, a steering wheel or the like most likely. As she bends forward, her eyes turn to meet you even of the rest of her isn’t and then flicker to where the co pilots chair would be. You don’t miss a beat and attempt to find the damn thing, managing to slam your balls into the armrest once, causing Diana to giggle a little bit. Yeah it was kinda funny.“Gravitas, Raven already informed me the group was split into two. There’s one by the ruins, probably underneath and another, my plane picks up by the other side of the island near the coast. You’re call on how to handle this.” Wonder Woman says softly but firmly, a little teacher coming out in her.>A.) We trail the group from the coastline to ruins and ambush both of them.>B.) “One group lead by you goes near the coast, one group lead by me goes to the ruins. We grab them before they could meet up. Then at least we guarantee we catch one of them. I’ll take Raven, Diana you take Beast Boy and Artemis.” You, Raven approaching you as you finish speaking.Wonder Woman nods and whistles, bringing both Artemis and Beast Boy to full attention and towards her. The three off them walk down an invisible staircase into the island below as both you and Raven watch on. Raven probably out of respect, but you because of just how perplexed you are on how all this works and how nice it is seeing Diana’s ass. You shake yourself off and face Raven, who doesn’t seem to have noticed, thank god.Raven grabs your shoulder and in two gray poofs of smoke you see nothing but pure blue sea, that would make a pile of sapphires seem dull and dark in comparison. You can taste the salt in the wind as well, making your mouth wish for a drink of water just for a second. As you gaze off into the beauty of nature you finally notice the black, shiny dome right near the coast and watch as it deposites at at least a dozen people off onto the light brown sandy shore. The tall man in the black metal suit and the extremely oblong head almost seems to be gazing at you with his bright red camera eyes. For a moment you think he caught the two of you before he continues scanning the shore. In that moment you recognize him, Black Manta real identity unknown. An infamous pirate, mercenary, and so called freedom fighter who wishes to liberate Atlantis. Aquaman has managed to drive him off but never actually capture or defeat him. Bad.The woman next to him was half human, half cat. There was no disguising her or her civilian name, Doctor Barbara Minerva, AKA Cheetah. An anthropologist who found something more than she could handle which changed into this. Supposedly an agent of an Incan Goddess and a quasi mystical and religious force she called the Red. In any case she had become an ecoterroist in the opposite vein of Ivy. Committing bombings to save animals though always willing to abandon them when push came to shove. More of a wonder woman foe.Shado, freelance assassin and bodyguard. She was also the Self proclaimed lover of the Green Arrow. He claims her to be his rapist. Alias unknown. While she wasn’t in Deathstroke’s league, she was well known for being one of more highly skilled killers in the world for hire, easily comparable to high ranking League Assassins or Deadshot. Some even claim she was a member at one point.Well shit.>A.) Have Raven create a distraction and try to pick one of them off.>B.) Keep quiet and follow them for a bit, look for an opening.>C.) You use the hand signals to give Raven directions. You’re going to keep this quiet, very quiet. No talking, no grunts, or noises of any kind. Just movement and visuals from here on in. Shado is a highly trained operative, Black Manta has God knows what on that armor of his, and Cheetah has highly tuned senses. Bird calls aren’t going to fool them. You signal Raven to teleport along the top’s of the tree branches as you jump along the canopy, trying to avoid any chance of the three of them or the goon squad seeing you whatsoever as you shadow them by a great deal.As you follow them you notice the flunkies, underneath the cheaper and smaller looking replicas of Black armor, are mostly women with only one exception. Three of them seem to be using wheelbarrows to haul various chests and lockers of things onto the shore and into the forest. Each case either being extremely expensive modern things or molten, rotting ancient wooden things that are dusty and old enough to probably be worth a small fortune themselves. Those grunts seem to be unarmed outside of sidearms and the high tech suits they wore as wellAfter a certain distance into the woods, Black Manta stops and sends a chill down your spine. You motions and points into the distance towards the grunts. If it weren’t for the electronic nature of his voice you have no doubt you wouldn’t hear him.“Cheetha has my proxy in the negotiations. If things go wrong for whatever reason, follow Shado instructions. Try to keep the artifacts in tact, but if your lives come in danger must defend yourselves as a last resort. Your lives outweigh the value of this transaction. But only if you are capable of following my orders. Dismissed” Black Manta’s voice box booms.>A.) You continue following Cheetah and the goon squad for the next few minutes. Well past the point you know Black Manta would be able to see or hear what was about to go on but far enough from the Hellenistic ruins that H.I.V.E would be able to readily intervene either. As you hang in the air off a tree branch it you know this is the perfect spot for an ambush. You wave towards Cheetah, Raven disappearing into a tiny wisp of smoke, like that of a cigarette. Raven reemerges into existence to the left of the cat woman, hands raised and shifting into an incantation. You push that extrasensory part of yourself to float with a fraction of a second everything goes wrong and the Earth goes tipsy turvey on your plan. Cheetah lets out an almost bored kick towards her, turning most of Raven’s outfit into a big purple and black ruin and leaving three bright red slash marks on her chest. You reach out and create a gravity field on Shado, as she and Black Manta’s soilders run towards you firing away. Two bullets manage to smash into the tree top next to you, blasting it too pieces, before the gravity field takes hold and puts an end to it. Within less than a second from when the guns start firing, their rifles slam into Shado in five different directions. At first Shado tries to come a rolling stop with the blows, but the time the forth sci fi eqsue rifle smacks on her in the neck she’s thrown completely off balance, and when the last one hits her on her left temple it becomes clear she’s dazed. Then their metal covered bodies hurl themselves towards her at the speed of a MLB pitcher's fastball. Every single collision up to the fourth causing a large groan of pain from her and the goon. After that it’s just them who has the herewith all to even cry out in pain and Shado having fallen completely unconscious. The goon squad rolling the wheelbarrows are making a run towards the ruins, not knowing that Shado and their compatriots are out of the picture. Meanwhile Raven and Cheetha are tangling, and it appears Cheetha has the advantage. The cat woman is too fast and pressing Raven too well, preventing Raven form ever firing more than a weak, small unfocused and easily dodges blast at her. Each time Raven trying to create a hand signal or do a ritual motion, Cheetha is there scratching her hand preventing her from doing so. Likewise at this point most of the top of Raven’s costume is gone from Cheetha’s claws. There with surprising few cuts from this, you can tell Cheetha is like any other cat playing with her prey.>A.) Dive towards Cheetha and tackle her into the ground.>B.) Do a short jab combintion on Cheetha, and allow Raven to power up a spell.>C.) You fly down towards Cheetha not caring at this point if she hears you or the mook squad gets away. Raven hurt, her clothes are torn to tatters, and could be killed if you don’t act. Cheetha turns to face you, slapping Raven in the face with her tail and prompting a mouthful of blood to be spat out in the process, as you land. A crocky grin and snarl escapes her“Okay little boy, bring..” Cheetha purrs out just as you unleash a quick jab to her face and breaking her nose. As blood pours down her face all that attitude vanishes. Before she could weave out of the way or bring her paws up to block, you land three more blows to her snout again, right above her left eye, and one on her chin. Her knees buckle, allowing you to land one more on her chest as she prepares and fails to dodge in time. A large gasp escapes her, making you think she might not know it yet but she’s out on her feet. As you wind up for another set of blows, the cat woman almost seem to fall towards you, not giving you enough room to hit and letting her claws come this close to get to work on you. But Black Canary and Nightwing taught you both how to box better and how to do some advanced footwork. You scuttle backwards not even bending your knees to do so, like Micheal Jackson’s moonwalk, causing Cheetha’s head to bob down toward your belly. Your arms where still in their stance near your chest, allowing you make her pay with two quick blows to the top of her head before she rolls the way out of a third. In the middle of signal Raven whom nods and harnessing a black firey cloud on her right wrist. You continue you to dance with Cheetha but at this point nothing is really being said or done when it comes to the fight, time is just being filled as you are supposedly thinking out your next moves. Cheetha manages to get in a couple of scrapes that don’t even draw blood, while you manage to get one more lick in that left eye. You finish circling each other, Cheetha reduced to large mostly frustrated pants.“You’re good. Haven’t seen you around before, I can think of only three people on the League who can throw down with me, and both of them have at least D cups. Who the hell are you new boy?” Cheetha growls, licking her lips free of blood.
>>1736066You just pantimoe a sigh, causing Cheetha to try and pounce on you, hitting nothing but air as you practically twirl to where she was just a moment ago and this time deliver a haymaker to her left eye and send her reeling back into a nearby tree. Almost comically some type of fruit falls on her head, causing you to roar with laughter.“You think this is funny?” Cheetha says right about to repeat her tackle before Raven steps in front of you, both hands holding a volleyball sized black inferno.“No, but this is. AZATH XERXES PALOS” Raven cries unleashing it on Cheetha sending flying through that tree and a score more. A flock of birds chirps and flies into the air making giving the clear sky a dark black cloud. You turn to congratulate Raven, perhaps give her a high five. But then you notice her one of her breasts hanging out. A big pale thing, that reminds you of the moon. You cough for a moment trying to draw Raven’s attention to it, before you pick up the discarded sliced up cloth on the ground. Raven looks at you blanky for a moment and reaching into your hands. Almost like she’s surprised you’d care about that. You hear a large growl and turn to see Cheetha hurtling towards you, front paws extended to grasp you back and hind legs out to rip your chest>A.) You try to create a gravity field ontop of her, but Cheetha is moving much to fast for you to create one in time. She slams you into the ground hard, causing you to bite your tongue and draw blood. The two of you go into a roll together, going back and forth, up and down, until you slam hard into a tree like a canon ball and cause it to crash down hard. While her hind claws dug into your chest before this, upon the rolling and impact upon the tree it manages to stab into you, an inch or so deep into your chest.Cheetha gets up all smiles, fangs revealing themselves through a mostly closed mouth. Her tongue flicks out a second as she rushed towards you. You had managed to get to your knees at that point, weak as they were, leaving your head in a perfect punting position. She took full advantage of it, driving her knee thankfully, not her claws across your head. You see enough stars to see a constellation and your strength is gone. You fly a little bit onto some rocks on your hip, prompting a loud moan to escape you.Cheetha still isn’t done but this time your prepared. She leaps into the air, claws protruding from all four of her paws, as she tries to drop on your head. Even with all she did to you, it’s far from hard just to roll to your left towards her and out of her reach. Cheetha screams as her claws embed themselves into the rocks trapping her for the moment and allow you to push her down on her side with your gravity ability for the moment. You hop to your feet ready for round 3>A.) You had already signaled to Raven, so when she appears to the side of you just as Cheetha gets one of her feet free it’s a relief. It’s even more of a relief seeing Cheetha’s eyes go wide and all white as she see’s Raven another swirl of dark murky energy obscure Raven’s fists again. You can only what the look on her face would be if she knew that at this moment you were creating a gravity field around one of yours that would only add to the power of Raven’s mystical attack. Cheetha cries as she struggles to get het remaining leg free. She jiggles and wiggles and then finally pulls with it, ripping the entire stone out with her paw before she can get loose. If she where only a second sooner, it would have mattered too. Alas Cheetha was a day late and a dollar short.Raven and you brought up your fists together as one, like an intricate clock. Cheetha didn’t bother to run, one of her legs was in mid air and had a giant chunk of earth on it, but she did manage to get her arms up in time, crossing across her chest and body. It just managed to block the blow but that didn’t matter there was too much power in it at this power. A giant black eagle was flung like a bullet at her, ripping her arms to her side in less than and instant and sending her rocketing into the sun set until she was just a gleamm in the sky before she started falling. Ouch. You turn to Raven and nod, both turning to the passed out goon squad. You even pretend not to notice Raven’s exposed breast again, maybe out of shyness but maybe just out an appreciation of the form. You turn to see Shado stirring towards a state of consciousness. Nope. You pull a log ontop of her body with the use of a gravity field, pining her arms completely. Raven turns to you and smiles and it takes all you can do to just return it and not look down again. You pick up the goon nearest the two of you and smile, slapping him awake.“Hello. My friend here and I would like you to tell us what is those crates.” Raven demanded eyes glowing and voice starchier and more eerie then usual. It almost sounded like she had an echo going on somehow. “I can activate a pineal gland in your brain that allows you to see things in this reality no sane person would ever want to see. And they’ll know that you’ll see them, trust me that’s not a good thing.”The woman’s eyes turn to you. Big blue ugly things, made more crass with her very real but misplaced worry. Raven wasn’t as scary as Batman and she was less likely to turn the screws on someone like that either. Still she had better access to special effects. Lord only knows what Batman could do with it. As is it was enough to turn this harden solider probably trained to withstand torture for a prolonged period of time into putty in Raven’s hands in less than a minute.
>>1736477“Artifacts. Sunken treaties from sunken cities, Atlantiean tributary states, and old galleons all across the bottom of North Africa and European seas. Even some things from novelties from Mu. Black Mantis has been pillaging for the past three months and dumped off trinkets he didn’t need.” She started. Not good enough.“We need more. Or do you want me to let her do mystic brain surgery on you?” “Tablets from Mu dictating magic. Odes and Hyms to the Dead God Dreaming in R’lyeh, corridantes to Carcosa, old medevil scrolls devoted to Trigon, and Arbic translations to King Solomon’s key. A bunch of nonsense that only madmen and rich idiots like H.I.V.E would want.” She cried. Raven stuggled and failed to gasp for air, prompting you to drop her like a sack of bricks. You hurry to Raven and help her up. She struggled for a moment but finds her foot abit only when she strings her entire torso across your arm for support. You look down at her and when she looks up her eyes are wet.“What is it?” You ask.“Trigon, the cult that killed my mother, they worshiped him.” She says. Your mind blanks out and your ears ring. At first you think it’s because of the bombshell she dropped on you but rather it’s because of a rocket fired off from the distance into the soldier's head, a fountain of gore pouring out of it.A black shinning figure in the distance readjusted his hand, pointing towards you two.>END

Time to fight smart.Have raven teleport us next to the crates and randomly gravitate the contents of the crates around us.This should discourage ranged attacks and we have already knocked down their melee powerhouse.
>>1743303So basically goons are out of the fight, manta will go melee and shade would have extra difficulty in her shots because she could either hit manta or an artifact on a miss.
>>1743323>>1743303We need to protect Raven. Otherwise it will happen to her the same that happend when she face Cheetah. So we need to keep Manta focused on us. I would advise to use the trees or something near us as a weapin to block his weapons. He also may have a lot of gadgets, like his helmet beam and one pistol version of those high tech weapo s the goons had with then.

All your ears hear hum out a continuous tone reminiscent of a phone hanging off the hook. You desperately look around, as if seeing some new thing was the key for ending the sudden streak of tone deafness you were suffering. Among the many glances you take as you spin around, Raven appears to doing something extremely similar, her hands over her ears and eyes frantic. You try screaming at her but you doubt she could hear it. Even you couldn’t. Yet still you continue to do, lopping it constantly. It eventually pays off. First you start to hear at as an undercurrent, than the humming and ‘Raven’ mix together. Then Raven is in the foreground and the ringing in your ears just background noise. Raven herself eventually picks up on you calling her recognition replacing the worry on her face. You would almost smile, but know you can hear the sounds of the rumbling boisterous sound of rockets that make the air itself tremble. You and Raven stand side by side, the power of physics and mysticism melding together. You reach out with your ‘talent’ create a gravitational field to the left of you right above a patch of thick trees. Raven herself just gathers a swirling current of dark energy on both of her hands. Both of you just stand there for a few moments, waiting to release your powers as Black Manta gets closer and closer. Finally when you hear the clicking of his power suit, you making a motion with your head and release.Black Manta sees what happening almost instantly and almost manages to avoid it, but close only counts in horseshoes. About four long, thick trees ripped into jagged spears and a mass of black flames mixed together, launching an unholy dark inferno towards him. A slue of extremely small rockets dispersed around Manta’s armor activated, jetting him a dozen directions trying to first dodge and than position himself outside of the blast radius of the attack. A stray flame from the front of your attack, whisps into one of his engines just as he’s about to edge out and sends him falling into the thick of it. At first his body is just encased in flame and descending, crisping up one of the tiny jets that tried to propel him. But then the last log you threw slams into his right shoulder, causing an eruption that sphere of death Raven and you made.A bright black flash covers the key for a moment, as a large boom occurs, forcing your eyes shut and fresh but very temporary state of deafness to fall upon you again. You manage to open your eyes after a moment and watch as Black Manta falls to the ground. For a second you think you somehow managed to end this here already before he flips in the air, feet facing the ground. Your mouth is a little a gape as Manta falls to the floor feet first, only half kneeing to support himself from the fall. His red eyes, clicking and gazing upon you.>A.) You don’t bother giving him a chance to catch his breath or make his next move. You plan on finishing this now. You try creating a stable gravity field on your hand that doesn’t effect you like you did with Bane, tuning out everything else going on around you. You’re pleasantly surprised to find that you can do so with making you flying into a near by tree or off a cliff. You raise your head and look at Black Manta still bending that knee and still staring directly at you and Raven with blood red lenses of his flitting thanks to the run. Raven tries to place a hand on your shoulder, maybe to get to stop, but she finds nothing but air as you bolt at him.You race head first into him, right hand winding up for a massive finishing blow, eyes locked into his cameras. You feel the wind pull on you just like Raven just tried to do to get you to stop, a common theme repeating itself since you decided on this course of action just now entering your head. You stop staring at Manta eyes and see why. You the drop of a metallic weight and feel a swing as both Manta’s chest compartment and helmet open up and reveal a series of rockets the size of your finger in the hundreds. “It’s funny you kids have time on your side and you decide to waste it.” Manta says gruffly with a slight electronic echo as the rockets start to spill out.You don’t know how but manage to beat them all. You lunge your first right into his oval helmet right after he says this, ripping it apart in what sounds like highest and harshest death wail ever. Manta even begins falling before his helmet mounted rockets launching and then exploding as the ripped shreds of his helmet contact them. You are sent flying throw two trees as Manta’s face is obscured by the sudden bright orange glow of a miniature sun. You’re sure a jolt of pain or two would have awaited you if not for that sudden sudden surge of adrenaline that kicked in when you saw those rockets. As you lay down in broken splinters of a large pair of trees, you laugh as you see his little missiles fly harmlessly in the sky, him having fallen prone himself. They look like little shooting stars, slamming the air hard enough to create a faint lullaby that fades away as they do. Though you admit you almost have a heart attack when Raven appears in a puff next to you, assured that one of them escaped in time to find you before Manta took the blow.“Not smart.” Raven says eyes narrowed at you as she helps lift you to your feet, even helping dust you off. “The top of your uniform is gone.”“Yes it was. I was faster than he thought I was, he paid for it. And you’re one to talk.” You start laughing a bit. Then the smoke clears from where Manta was, revealing him rising to his feet sans helmet.

You create a force field around you and Raven, blinding you and Raven with a flash of white as Black Manta’s shot connects with it and set it off. The high caliber shot is like a miniature canon pushed against your gravity field as hard as it could before it would have broken apart. But sure enough the light disappears and is flung across the skyline into a near by hill where a tiny puff of smoke rose as it landed down on the ground.Manta screams, bringing down his trident against your force shield, the weapon brightening it up like lightening and sending it sparks across in the sphere around you. You reach out and once again form another gravity field, this time not to just attack him. But to hold him. You take it spread it wide and long, pulling him down hard and leaving a stretch of field before he could be free of it. At this point you’d have to he weighed as much as truck, each step he’d take would be like if he had to hold it across his broad metallic shoulders. You don’t expect it to rip him apart or crush him or even break a bone or two, but you’d think he’d have to crawl or at beast wobble out. And Raven would never let him do it.Raven cloak rises, as her her turn black as a moonless sky. Spare rocks and splinters from the shattered trees levitate in the air, prompting both yours and Manta’s gaze to completely switch to Raven. Sweat begins to pour down Manta’s face as he sees what’s going on. Raven’s hands are outstretched and empty, but her shadow has disappeared. Instead an ink black blob begins bubbling up from behind her, begin to make a silhouette of something avian. The shadow creature’s beak and wings spread open, a long squawk.“Azarath Metrion Zinthos” Raven chants, her voice booming but somehow monotone. The bird-thing flies towards Black Manta, letting loose a long screech as he does so. It’s beak is out, long, and sharp as a spear, it’s wings giant claws reaching out to strangle or slash at him. It’s hurtles along like a bullet, going almost to fast for you to follow. Which makes it all the more amazing when Black Manta somehow gets his trident, which most weigh a ton thanks to your powers, up it time to swipe it away. Half of the shadow thing disperses, disintegrating the thing with the crackling white ray of his weapon.Raven and you only have time to drop your mouth as the shining trident turns dark. The light from it disappears as three beams jettison from each point and flows into your stomach. A large burning sensation spreads from your belly button to your back, as you are hurtled back a couple of feet. At first you think you’ll manage to stay on your feet, but your knee go weak and buckle underneath your weight sending you falling down on your face. You feel blood rushing down from your back.“You monster!” Raven screams flying towards him and leveling a series of blows to Black Manta’s face while he just stands there. She punches him about a dozen times before Manta’s turns his eye lazily at her. In her series of strikes, all she’s manged to do is bruise her knuckles and cause a nosebleed.
>>1745001Agree. Fair Raven helped a lot against her and she is helping against Manta to. We alone wouldn't be able to go this far by ourselfs.
He backhands her, sending her into a tree next to, snorting out a wad of blood before advancing. In one hand he held the base of the trident and with the other bobbed it up and down like an oversized baton.“Relax, he’ll live. Lasers cauterize the wound when it comes in contact with flesh. One of the reasons I hate using it on human. Tell me who sent you and I might let you both walk out of this. Black Manta must let his foes know he accepts surrender. Is H.I.V.E betraying me. TALK!.” Manta says, his trident crackling again.>A.) Increase the weight of his trident>B.) Fly towards him like a bullet, tackle him to the ground and pound at his head until he yields.>C.) You wait until Manta’s feet are just in front of yours before you strike. You hop first to your knees in a crouching position and then raise up your first above your head and wind up for a massive blow. Black Manta looks down, his eyes going wide. His arms try to raise up to cover his face and block your blow, but his legs taking position to weather the blow if it managed to hit.You reach up and manage to catch Manta in his chin, you hearing his teeth chatter with the blow. You don’t under why his jaw didn’t break, you do have super strength and he doesn’t as a normal human after all, but you have a feeling it has to do with his black powered armor. He almost floats a few feet into the air thanks to the blow, eyes shut from the pain of the blow. You go create a gravity field but find a steel knee to your throat. You gasp for air, hands clasped around it in a vain attempt to pump some into it, no longer having any of the presence of mind or concentration needed to create a gravity field or the like. You stare down and see that in pure instinct Manta brought his knee up to counter you during your strike. He brings down his elbow on your head as he drops and then buts you with the end of the trident’s handle. Just as you see stars, you see a metal moon cover your eyes and then feel a thunderstorm unleash through out your body. The staff is still electrified. Still through sheer force of will you stay on your feet this time. You feel a rush of heat to the right of you, as you see Raven toss another mass of shadowy flame slam Manta to his side and to his knees. Just as he falls you bring up your knee and slam him in the nose. Instead of just a thin spew of blood, you feel that you break it. He screams raising up with the handle and knocks you into the air and down towards Raven. Somehow you mange to land on your feet.>A.) Weigh down his trident and have Raven unleash hell>B.) “Raven blind him!” You scream, rushing towards him. Manta raises his trident, with you stopping just short of it’s end and beginning to circle him. He tries to stands in place, rotating his eyes trying to get a grip of your pace, but a black mist envelops his head slowly quickly causing him to strike out randomly and frantically. You start swatting at him with simple jabs and straight punches. At first for every blow you manage to land, Black Manta blocks with his trident blade once or staff but eventually the damage starts adding up. A bruise or cut popping here or there. A gash across an eyebrow covering up what little vision he had left thanks to Raven’s magic. Finally you felt that his face was puffing out into a giant swollen marshmallow of flesh. Getting desperate, Black Manta spins his trident in the air like a helicopter blade, hoping no doubt to decapitate you or at least drive you away and give him some breathing room. All you have to do is duck and rush towards his belly and deliver a powerful uppercut to his belly, ending his spinning and driving him to his knees. As soon as he falls you deliver a powerful left handed hay maker finally feeling his jaw give under the power of your blowBlack Manta, scourge of the sea and the one man whom Aquaman could never truly best, collapses onto the ground, the dark fog off his head clears over his head. You finally see his face and it’s worse than you thought it. He looks less like a human and a poorly crafted wooden statue craved by a chainsaw. At first you think you pulled another Ravager and killed the poor bastard, but hear his breathing. It might be labored and heavy, but the breathing is constant and strong. You didn’t kill him but you knocked the poor bastard unconscious.Raven walks up to you, nursing not only the wounds Cheetah gave her but also Black Manta. She looks down at Black Manta first frowning and then softening into a neutral expression. You might not be an empath but you can guess she feared you turned into head into soup too.“Gravitas, I can’t sense Wonder Woman or Beast Boy, just Artemis.” She says softly in a worried tone.>A.) “I guess the only thing to do is tie them up and trying radioing them.” You say, nursing the laser wound Manta inflicted on you. All in all you had to say you came out of this well. You took some licks form Cheetah and a lot of Black Manta but all in all you were in good shape. Your outfit was in shreds like Raven’s though.Raven recites some mumbo jumbo under her breath and her hands light up for a moment. In less than blink of an eye a shining purple line emits from one hand to another. She offers you her left and by extension the string of energy, you take it and circle around Manta and his minions with Raven. When you both finish your half of the circle Raven lets go and motions to you to do so as well. Soon the circle begins retracting until all of them end up slamming onto each others backs, in a perfect small circle.“Hello respond. Wonder Woman, Artemis...” You start, before Artemis voice responds. “Gravitas? Raven? This Artemis. Beast Boy….he’s a traitor. The H.I.V.E leader popped up and he immediately sneak attacked Wonder Woman when she was fighting Giganta and Meryln.” Artemis says anxious. “I never thought it would have happened in a million years. “Who was that leader of H.I.V.E?” You ask, practically yelling into your ear piece. “Describe her to me.”“I don’t know. She was wearing all yellow, she even had the balls to wear a crown. Really stunning woman, looked like a super model. About 5’6, had brown hair, she’s black...” Artemis said but your mind was already connecting dots.Queen Bee one of the top executives of H.I.V.E. Queen of Bialya. Abilities...REDACTED? You are wondering why you thought redacted for a second before you remember where you came from. Apparently they put in a couple of fail safes to ensure they weren’t caught with their pants down in case someone like Harley pulled what she did.“We’re coming right there, Raven?” You ask, before she puts your hands on you and teleports you to Artemis. At first, as usual nothing but smoke. Eventually it fades and you see nothing but a gray cracked wall with creeping greens spreading on it like a pox. Artemis is on a giant crack in the middle of it, tweleve or so feet in the air. She levels her bow at you until the smoke completely clears and can see it’s you. She sighs with relief and drops down towards you.“Finally, was afraid they got to you too. I was afraid there for a second, thought the patrols they sent out caught up to you.” Artemis says, falling to her knees and taking a deep breath.“Damn, that means they’ll find Black Manta.” You say, slapping the near by wall“Wait, you were busy beat Black Manta?” Artemis asks“More like we beat him to a pulp, I don’t think Gravitas or I are going up for round two anytime soon. We need to get out of here. Get the Titans or even the Justice League.” Raven says, looking at you and Artemis. You and Artemis look her and then each other and just nod. Things have gone up shit creek to put it mildly.“Agreed, Raven take us too...” You start as gorgeous black woman approaches, a predatory smile on her face. She had a classical hour glass figure and a soft face, but with aquiline features. Ones that screamed she was if not nobility, than royalty. If not a woman a goddess. Her dress even confirmed this, both covering her figure but accenting that was not only there but something any man would dream about seeing what lie underneath. Her eyes a brown of an ancient timeless desert.“Adam, I’ve heard so much about you. If fact I dreamed the day we would meet. And you’re leaving? Without even a goodbye kiss? Please don’t leave, why don’t you and your friends stay awhile? Knock them out Adam.” Queen Bee commands
>>1745901“Yes, my queen.” You mouth says. It seems like it’s a mile away. Your hands reach out and smash both Artemis and Raven’s heads together in one massive blow. They looked like coconuts bashing together. But it seems all so far away.“Come here Adam. I know better than to think I could keep you to myself but honestly, I excepted you’re mates to be of better quality. But crazy woman and demon? Let me show you what a real kiss feels like with the woman you were made for.” Queen Bee says, extending her arms for an embrace.Your feet run to meet her. Your mouth meets hers and you feel at home. You wake up to face the sun with a smile on your face, every day a routine a practiced ritual bringing you closer to something higher. When you live a happy life like yours, having a fulfilling college course ahead of you and as a HIVE security official why wouldn’t you? The road ahead holds no surprises or mysteries, and the end could be seen from here, but why does that matter. You’ll build things along the way. Things that will change the world and build an amazing life with your wife. You turn to her smiling, seeing her curled up with the covers in bed naked outside of them. You’re little piece of chocolate you call her, much to both her delight and chagrin. She had more than ten years on you but who could care. Especially with a figure like that. Besides her work was panning out and soon she’d stop aging all together. You bend down to kiss her, causing her to both purr and stir a little.“Let me sleep this is my day off...and you kept me awake all last night.” She says, throwing a pillow at you. A little to slow, mind you as you dodge away laughing.“Sorry, sorry. I couldn’t help myself, I still got a full day of work ahead of me, the prisoners are being transferred tomorrow.” You say, zipping up your yellow and black padded uniform. You had no idea how Doris got away with the outfit in her line of work and with her powers. A low cut, one piece pink dress? And her power is growing into a 100 ft giant? That was just begging for a wardrobe malfunction, anyone just had to look and pow. Or maybe that was a tactic, distract them and then stomp on them? In any case it was dumb. You walk into this sector’s break room, watching as Giganta sat down with some mystery novel in her hands. She really loved the whodunits surprisingly. She looks up and gives you a bored wave, still she seemed a little amused to see you.“What’s up Adam?” Doris asks eyes back to her book.“Need something to wake me up. Why do you like it black, sugar, cream...” You start before Giganta raises her hand.“Cream.” She answers.>A.) Ask if there is anything about the male prisoners you need to worry about, she brought them in.>B.) Ask her if she’s staying on permanently with HIVE.>C.) Ask what Wonder Woman is like

Wait male prisioners? Like more then one?
>>1748101Yeah. That's what the word prisoners means.
“Hey Doris, is there anything I need to know about the prisoners before the transfer?” You ask. She brought them in and was an expert on take downs.“Yes, Gar should be pudding, he’s learned to behave himself. Black Manta on the other hand...he’s dangerous and quick witted. He might not have access to his power suit any more but he could easily dispatch a room full of the average H.I.V.E solider unarmed. He’ll look for any opportunity to escape, so look out.” Giganta says, taking the mug from your hand and dipping it into her mouth. You sit there and finish yours mostly in silence. It was funny she always seemed like she had something to say but never did. Her eyes always holding back in some type of laugh, you get up to leave after putting your cup in the sink but then remember something that was on your mind.“Hey, are you staying on permanently after this?” You ask“Why miss me? Your sure your wife wouldn’t mind?” She asks playfully.“Hey she’s the one who made the offer for you to join us in bed, you turned her down. And yeah kinda. You’re a good hand. H.I.V.E could use you” You answer“Flattery will get you everywhere.” She laughs and then goes back to her book.>A.) Go see Meryln>B.) Go check on the male prisoners>C.) >>1748151"You're my favorite prison guard"
You go to the next cell block, which is a marked difference in architecture. The rest of facility existed in harmony with the ruins. Marble and other minerals melded with orange and yellow metal in the hall ways and rooms, haphazard in placed sure but always charming. Here it was all cold. Plain and brutish looking titanium. Bars, sheets of metal for floor, and bullet proof glass in anything that wasn’t metal. No wonder they could only find one or two grunts to be stationed here for a full shift at a time.To the right of you behind the glass were the two prisoners lay. Garfield Logan, a 5 foot 5 teenager with green fur and skin like the Teenage Werewolf guy. Black Manta, name unknown, 6’2 African American male in his early forties or late thirties. Garfield seemed passed out, lay prone and mouth agape against the wall. Harmless like Doris said. Black Manta on the other hand wasn’t just laying there. He was chewing on something. Really getting at it. His eyes meet yours and it continues at a frantic pace.“Prisoner, stop that this instant.” You demand, point your finger at him.“Come and make me you poor deluded slave.” Manta says, his chewing getting more intense.“Guard didn’t you process him? Any security checks whatsoever? What the hell does he got?” You ask.“No idea. And we checked him three time, he just has to playing with us?” The guard answers.>A.) Go in and check on him.>B.) Sorry something happened, will be back in bit.
>>1748302What he wants is someone to be dumb enough to fall on this obvious trap.

The only thing that makes me sad is that this will definetly damage Adam's chance in being a team leader. Can have a leader that can be easily mind controled by a villan.

You had no idea where Brother Blood or Queen Bee hired these people, but man they needed an agency to do it. Could have slid the damn thing to the prisoner. You strut in, cracking your knuckles, and looking Manta in the eye. You start coughing and almost don’t stop. You fall to your knees as your ‘colleagues’ try to help you to your feet. You swat them away, not wanting to give away that your in on what they did to you. You think your about to pass out when you finally hack something out. In a tiny bit of spittle on the floor there is a little yellow bumble bee that turns to dust. None of the guards seems to be concerned or even worried whatsoever by this turn of events. Maybe you were just seeing things. In any case you are in your right state of mind again soooo…You take each guards heads into one of your heads and bash them hard together. They collapse on the floor, twitching and spazing out for a bit. You dust off your hands and look into Black Manta’s eyes, who is now smiling ear to ear, like a cat who finally got the mouse.“What did you do...how did you know...” You start before Black Manta’s laugh cuts you off.“Boy, why do you think I had nearly an entire squad of women do this deal? “Uh, thanks. What do you want though?” You ask“Isn’t it obvious? To get out. Break these chains fool” He says.“What do I get in return, a knife in my back?” You ask, exacerbated.“Not today, I did not get where I am today by biting the hand that feeds me. I Black Manta, upon the grave of his father, swear that for the reminder of the day I will aid you and your allies in your escape and no harm shall come to you by my or my allies hands. Let’s get on with it, I have places to be.” Black Manta says, patience running thin. You think about it for a moment and sigh. You reach over and rip out every one of his chains holding each limb. Manta drops to the floor and his knees rubbing each one of them until he’s sure they’re okay and stands up. He stares at Beast Boy and helps you free him.“Are Cheetah and Shado here?” You ask.“Of course. Cheetah is a lesbian, so she’ll be brought here sooner rather than later. Shado has stolen important items and weapons from H.I.V.E storehouses, they’ll wan to intergotate her before they execute her.” Manta says. You gulp. That means they could excute Wonder Woman, Raven, or Artemis when they got done with them too. Garfield is still out of it, and rests in his arms, until Manta drops him onto the floor a bit gently. He wipes his hands on his pants and looks like you. You look for a moment until he looks at him and shakes his head.“Boy, what’s the plan from here. After what seems like an hour but probably was more than three minutes you finally reach where your memory tells you the processing room is.Of all the rooms and subsystems, size wise it’s slab dab in the middle. Big enough to have sotre rooms, works benches, and a front desk you can tell it’s facility that’ seen lot of work and is always active. “Hey...Bob?” You say reading his name tag. Never seen a minion going by the handle Bob before. Well there were a lot of people named Robert, one was bound to show up.“Yeah I part of an exchange program with Hy-” He starts in nasally voice before you cut him off.“Yeah listen, I’m Special Agent Adam. I listen the Special Order and Inventory Request and Confirmation Order but I’ve been sent to pick up Manta’s suit for the R&D Department just let me sign the requisition form and I’ll go.” You say glancing at a clipboard, right as Bob takes it away. Alright you didn’t think it would be that easy. Time for the whole song and dance.“Yeah I’m afraid I can’t let you do that. You’ll have to ask your superior to do that for you, then I can give it to you.” Bob says with a weak smile, shrugging. He really did seem a little sorry about that too. Well this base wasn’t going to be here tomrrow anyway.“Listen...Bob...my superior is Queen Bee. I have no middle men.” You say, Bob now gulping. He could guess where you were going to take this. “She is also me wife. She’ll never, ever let me hear the end of it if I lost a simple SOIRCO form. She’ll definitely make me fill out a Lost Inventory Declaration and sign a few misappropriation of resources warnings. Just to make fun of me mind you, she would be angry. But I’ll be angry with you Bob. Do me a solid and just take fall on this. I’ll get you a transfer to Cultural Data Management. Sweet gig, you get to read and watch movies all day, seriously. How about it?” You ask smiling. Bob sighs and returns the clipboard to youngestTen minutes later you walk back to the Men’s Detention Room with a large plastic bag containing Black Manta’s power armor. “Really?” Manta asks eyebrow raised.“Hey, I like to settle things without fists if I get a chance.” You answer handing it over to him. You stare at him as he changes, not bothering to let him know you don’t trust him. He just snorts until he looks down at the broken helmet and leaves it on the floor.“Well?” Black Manta asks.>A.) “Leave Beast Boy here, let’s go.” You say the two of you darting out of the detainment room and heading to the women’s wing. The two of you depart the room and enter the corridors. You look back and forth between him and the winding halls you as you cross them, wondering when one of the guards would pop up, if they would recognize who they were looking at, or if Black Manta would sucker punch you. After a few minutes you guess the later wasn’t going to happen but knew sooner or later a patrol or security would notice what was happening. You are getting annoyed and anxious about this and want to just get the hell out of there.“If we go thirty meters to our left, I could just rocket a wall there and radio for my sub. We can avoid all these nonsense now and call it a day.” Black Manta suggests.“Yeah, no thank you. I have a thing called friends. And whatever happened to Manta’s famous word? His loyalty? His bravery it sounds to me like you’re a coward.” You answer, eyes narrowing. An arrow fires out towards your head, before Black Manta grasps it and smashes it in halfYou turn and see Meryln frowning at you, ten armed guards at his side. You don’t know why but you instinctively understand know that arrow will be infinitely more dangerous than those guns are.“We’ll continue this conversation later.” Manta growls “Meryln, you fool, your under that bitch’s spell.” “Leave the King Bee alive, kill Black Manta” Meryln says simply, firing another arrow as the goons raise their rifle.>A.) You make Merlyn the center of attention, creating a gravity field around him, and physics takes care of the second part. All the goons rush into him, collapsing him and them to the ground like a strike in bowling. You turn to walk away, as Manta’s fires a shot from the small canon on his shoulder leveling the ceilings above the goons and Merlyn. Rubble and metal debris buries them.“What the hell? You might have killed them!” You say“Who cares? It needed to be done. We need to hurry and save the others fool.” Black Manta says continuing down the hallway in a brisk pace. You try rushing past him, but he always seems to be just an arm’s out of reach. Well that’s one reason to hate those powered suits.“Save them? You told me that you planned on abandoning everyone and offered a ride. What the hell is your deal man?” You say, finally get a hand on his metal shoulder that he just brushes off without looking back once.“A test. You passed boy, now more pressing matters.” Black Manta says, ripping a door open with his trident and throwing it away like a old used beer can at the side of the road. A guard tried firing at him from behind the door, but Manta just backhanded him through the wall in front of both of you.“Adam, what are you here to finish us off now traitor?” Artemis yells, from your side. Along side her where the rest of them: Wonder Woman, Raven, Cheetah, and Shado, all chained by their hands to the wall. Without missing a beat both you and Black Manta smash through the glass.“Quiet brat. The lad simply feel for the siren’s pheromone ability. He lacked the intelligence to make a proper command decision, which lays at your feet for being so foolish.” Black Manta says suddenly to your surprise. Suddenly the ground shakes beneath you, causing Raven and you to fall on your faces.“Don’t tell me you just….” Wonder Woman starts.“Please, Queen Bee is not the first person to attempt to get one over on me and she won’t be the last failure.
