Tier 2 Armor. Tier 1 Pistol. Tier 2 Rucksack. Tier 1 Med-kit. Tier 2 Med-kit. Tier 1 Toolkit Your name is William and you… well you hurt. In the aftermath of the mission with Koko you finally let yourself feel the buildup of pain and exhaustion that had been accumulating all night. In total you’d been shot three times at close range, been tossed into the back of a bumpy, non-padded truck and then beaten for interrogation. The final fight with Sophia didn’t help, she was quick on her feet and seemed to want to cause you pain as much as you wanted to capture her. Your drive back to the hotel unfortunately in a very similar truck to the one you were taken in on, the suspension not very good. In turn you get to sit upright this time, sandwiched gently between Cath and Bellona. Morrigan is upfront with Mary, Nem and Sarah in the back with the rest of you. You aren’t really sure where Sophia is, you think she’s probably with Koko since she wanted to talk to her or whatever Koko wants to do. You barely notice when you pull up to the front door, Nem and Sarah dragging down the tailgate as Bell and Cath assist you out. You don’t really need it, you’re able to walk just fine but they seem to be concerned about you and you don’t really mind either, they feel nice. Your walk through the foyer is something you barely notice but you hear some loud whispers and you notice Cath push somebody out of the way to the elevator. One trip up and then you find yourself taken to a room. Looking around you notice that it’s…>Your room. >Cath and Bell’s room. >Mary and Sarah’s room.
>>1671337>Cath and Bell’s room
>>1671337>Your room. Finally managed to catch a thread even if I can't stick around.
Alright, looks like you get dropped off in your room. Writing.
Kinda wanted to se the girls reaction to Will's wounds and once they ask if we are okay, Will will just smile and say he had worse before.
>>1671483Are you me?
>>1671483>protective older sistering intensifiesI just got the idea in my head that Morrigan's gonna have Nem riding us like a backpack just to make sure we don't get into any more shit.Or at least that we have a joyously violent murdergoblin to help us get out of said shit.
>>1671337You look around and see that it’s your room. You notice your gear over in the corner where you left it, along with what little other luggage that you brought. Bellona and Cath take you to the bed and sit you down, your stolen gun and armor getting tossed off to the side. You’re starting to feel sore by this point, your body really catching up to you as bruises start to swell. It’s been a while since you’ve been this beat up but it’s a familiar situation nonetheless. Morrigan comes into the room right after, a frown on her face as Bellona and Cath finish getting you sat down. Her look softens as she sees you. “How bad is it?” she asks. “Haven’t checked yet,” says Bellona. “Will, take off your shirt,” says Morrigan, setting down her assault rifle. You nod, wincing as your arms let you know how much your chest is bruised up. You manage to peel it off, some stray blood causing it to stick in a couple spots as you pull it off and set it to the side. You look down at yourself. There’s one large purple and raised bruise where you were shot in the vest. That’s probably the worst of it, already starting to raise and turn yellow. The rest of your body isn’t nearly as bad, large sections red and raw but not all that bad, along with several more lesser but still painful bruised areas. Topping it off are a number of scratches, some which had been bleeding, which you’d gotten from Sophia. You look up at Morrigan, whose face is tight and pinched. Bellona looks like she wants to hit something and Cath looks… sad. You’re pretty sure it’s because you got hurt but you aren’t positive, stuff like this is still confusing sometimes. “Will...” Morrigan starts, “How do you feel?” You notice everyone is staring at you, almost as if waiting on your every word. >You’re fine. >You’ve had worse. >You hurt. >Other.
>>1671594>>You’ve had worse.
>>1671594"Sore but I've been worse."
>>1671594>You’re fine.Nothing permanent.
>>1671594>You’ve had worse.
>>1671594>You’ve had worse.>You hurt. Full truth.
>>1671594>>You’ve had worse. >>You hurt.
>>1671594>>You’ve had worse. And like a player suggested "nothing permanent"
Will is bad at social situations as normal. "You've had worse."
>>1671594“I’ve had worse,” you say instinctively. It’s a true statement, if one that’s a bit closer to the line than normal. You have been shot or beaten within an inch of your life but it’s not something that happens regularly and not something you’ve experienced recently either. The reaction is immediate in Morrigan, her face turning angry almost immediately. Bellona’s face goes even grimmer and Cath just shakes her head. “Get out,” Morrigan says, pointing towards the door. You start to stand and her hand points back to you. “Not you Will, you stay.” Bellona looks like she’s about to protest until Cath grabs her arm and shakes her head. Instead Bellona goes first, Cath following close after her. Morrigan looks like she’s about to burst again, her face screwed up tight. “Will,” she says, her voice barely contained, “You remember when I got shot right?” You nod, of course you’d remember something like that. “You remember how I told you where it hurt right?” You nod again. “I know you remember how you helped me out, I certainly do.” “Yeah,” you say as she stops to look at you. “Good, good.” she says, taking deep breaths as she turns away. “So I’m going to ask you again, how do you feel Will?” You blink, confused at the question. Didn’t you just answer it? “Take your time Will,” she says, her voice still tight, “Just… take your time and tell me how you feel.” >You’re fine. >You’ve had worse. >You hurt. >Other.
>>1671847>You hurt.>You’ve had worse.
>>1671847>You hurt. but>You’ve had worse. >nothing permanent
Alrighht, Will can admit that he hurts. That was an important vote, sorry if it seemed redundant.
>>1671847>You’ve had worse. >You hurt. >It's not so bad, I knew you guys would come for us so I wasn't worried
>>1671847>>You’ve had worse. >>You hurt.
>>1671847 You think a little more about what Morrigan is saying. She seems to want… well you already told her you’ve had worse. So you think you know what to tell her this time around. “I hurt,” you say. You see Morrigan shudder as she lets out a breath, her body relaxing as she turns around and looks at you again. “That’s… I want you to tell me when you’re hurt Will,” she says to you. “But I’ve...” you start to say again. “Will, stop,” Morrigan says, talking over you. You stop, mouth shutting almost instantly. “Will… we’re going to have another talk alright?” Morrigan says. You nod, settling in and relaxing like you try to do when Morrigan talks with you. “This one’s going to be short and sweet so here’s what I’m going to say, when I ask you how you feel I want you to tell me how you feel right then. Not that you’ve had worse. Understand?” You nod. “Good,” she lets out a sigh, starting on the buckles of her armor. “Look Will… I know you’ve been hurt a lot before. I have too but when you’re hurt in the field I need you to tell...” She stops talking as one of the buckles is apparently stuck. “Will help me out here,” she says, tugging on the stuck buckle. You stand, your hands moving to help get the last buckle. It’s a little stuck but its mostly the angle it’s at that is stopping Morrigan from getting it. “As I was say,” Morrigan continues as you help her with the armor, “If you’re hurt you need to tell me. I worry about you and if you don’t tell me...” Morrigan shakes her head as you pull the armor off, her hair falling out as you set it to the side. “If you don’t tell me then I can’t help you.” “You want to help me?” you ask her. “Yes Will, I want to help you,” she says with a sigh, taking a seat on the bed, which you follow. >Ask why she wants to help you. >Ask her if you can help her arm. >Just sit with Morrigan. >Other.
>>1672201>>Ask her if you can help her arm.
>>1672201>>1672215>Ask why she wants to help you. actually we can ask why while we fix the arm
>>1672201>Ask why she wants to help you.
>>1672201>Ask why she wants to help you. >Ask her if you can help her arm.
Will is multitasking. Writing.
>>1672201“Can I help you?” you ask her. Morrigan turns to look at you, confused. “What do you want to help me with?” “Your arm,” you say, pointing at the cut that she got. Morrigan looks down, holding her arm up to see better. “I’ve had worse,” she says. You stop, frowning. Morrigan gives you a strange smile. “It’s not very nice when you don’t know if you can help is it?” “No,” you say. “Right, so make sure you tell me when you get hurt,” she says, “But yes, you can help my arm.” You nod, carefully checking the cut. It isn’t very deep, not even enough for stitches. Instead you go to the bathroom, getting some water and your medkit. You come back to the bed and start cleaning up Morrigan’s arm. “Morrigan...” you say to her, “Why do you want to help me? I’m… nothing permanent happened.” Morrigan sighs, even as you wipe the last bits of blood off her arm. “Will… you’re part of our team. You’re one of us. I’m the leader, it’s my job to help all of you.” You nod, wrapping up her arm with a bandage. “But it’s not just because it’s my job Will. I’ve lost people before. I don’t want it to happen again.” “You don’t want to lose me?” you ask, finishing with the bandage and sitting upright next to her. “No Will. I don’t want to lose you,” Morrigan says, turning to look at the bandage, “Nobody does. Nem, Cath, Mary, Sarah, Bell, nobody wants you gone. We all like you too much for that.” Morrigan’s face raises up, putting it up close to yours. She stops, her eyes focusing on yours and her cheeks turning slightly red.>Just nod. >Tell Morrigan you like her too. >Ask her why her cheeks are turning red.>Other.

Alright I'm just going to call it here.
>>1672603Oh well thanks for running!
>>1672608The vote, not the thread.
>>1672615Oh good, I was about to have a sad.
>>1672515“I like you too Morrigan,” you say. You do, everyone is so nice to you… Morrigan explains stuff to you and she even wants to help you! You’re really not sure how life could get much better than that. Even as you say that Morrigan’s face gets even redder, her eyes getting wider as you say that. You know there are a number of reasons why a persons face can turn red but you aren’t sure why Morrigan’s face is turning that way. “Morrigan,” you say, taking this moment to carefully examine her face, “Why are you turning red?” Morrigan blinks at that, then suddenly turning even redder and widening her eyes before turning away from you. “M’not turning red,” she mumbles. “You were...” you say, confused. “No… no I wasn’t,” she says again, turning back towards you. Her face is still red but not as much as it was. “But… you’re red,” you say, touching her cheek. When you touch her cheek she turns even redder, stopping for a split second before standing bolt upright and looking everywhere but at you. “I… I’m going to go take a shower,” she says, “I… should go take a shower, got dirty...” Morrigan takes a few steps towards the bathroom, then turns back towards her clothes, rummaging around inside the bag. >Offer to wash her back. >Ask if you can take a shower with her. >Let her take a shower, you’re tired.>Other.
>>1672755>Offer to wash her back.Cute.

Looks like Will continues to unintentionally tease Morrigan. Writing.
Oh to be a fly on the wall during her next talk with Mary.>"He probably doesn't know what a fuckin' vagina is, how can I have a crush on him?!"
>...scratches, some which had been bleeding, which you’d gotten from Sophia. Oh Sophie is a scratcher
>>1672755As Morrigan digs through her clothes you remember earlier in the night when you washed Koko’s back. Then you remember back on the train when you washed Bellona’s back and Cath washed yours. Everyone seemed to like it, you know that you liked it when you got yours washed. “Morrigan,” you call out to her, “Do you want me to wash your back?” Having just finished gathering what she needed Morrigan turns around and freezes again. You’re glad she isn’t so excitable in combat, otherwise there might be problems. “What?” she says. “Do you want me to wash your back?” you ask her again. “I… what, why would you even ask me that?” she says. You shrug. “Lots of people offer to wash mine,” you say. “Like who?” Morrigan asks, her voice suddenly curious. “Cath, Bellona, Koko...” you say, listing off the people who’ve washed your back. “Koko? When?” Morrigan asks you, cutting off your chain of thought. “Earlier… after the party,” you say. You aren’t exactly sure if it was last night or this morning, time is a little blurred for you. Morrigan doesn’t say anything, still holding her clothes in front of her. “Did… did you let her?” she finally asks you. “Yes,” you say, “I washed hers too. It was nice.” Morrigan is quiet again. “Ok,” she finally says, “You… you can wash my back. I’ll was yours too. If you want.” “Ok,” you say to her, going to get your own set of clean clothes. Morrigan nods quickly, moving towards the bathroom. As you go in, you find her struggling with her dress, unable to reach the tiny zipper on the back that’s holding it up. “Will… damnit… help me please,” she says, dropping her arms down, her face turning red.
>>1673003 You nod, setting your clothes down and moving behind Morrigan. The zipper is really small, so you carefully unzip it, holding her hair up out of the way so it doesn’t get caught. Morrigan is still as you do so, unlike Bellona who usually shivers when you touch her. As you finish Morrigan starts to shrug out of the dress, the long sleeves revealing the tattooed skin underneath. You turn away, Morrigan not having told you that you could look at her. She hasn’t looked at you yet either, so it’s ok. You manage to take of your clothes without looking at her, at least until you go to set you clothes on the counter and see the mirror. You see Morrigan from the side then, her body bare even as she’s looking at you. You quickly turn away. “I’m sorry Morrigan,” you say, “I’m not supposed to look.” “It… it’s ok Will. I was looking too. You need to look anyway if you’re going to wash my back.” “Ok,” you say, turning around in time to see Morrigan bent over, turning on the water. She stands up, turning towards you again. Her eyes move over you, even as her hands go across her chest and down between her legs. “Don’t… don’t look too much,” she says. You nod, turning slightly away as Morrigan climbs into the shower. “Come on Will,” she says, “get in.” You get in, you and Morrigan taking turns under the water. She keeps herself covered, at least more than Koko and Bellona did. After you’re both ready she starts first, keeping you in front of her as she starts scrubbing. “Will,” she asks you, “Do I look...weird… compared to the other girls?” “No,” you say, thinking about the two other girls… three if you count Mary who you saw on accident. “Really?” she asks, “The tattoos… muscles… scars?” Morrigan stops moving against your back, the washcloth against your back. >You look fine. >Maybe a little weird.>You look good.>Other.
>>1673014>You look good.
>>1673014>>You look fine.

>>1673014>Other."I don't understand. You look like you. How could that look weird? Also are scars and muscles meant to be weird?"
Morrigan is apparently looking good. >>1673033But anon, Morrigan doesn't have her own train.
>>1673034>You look good.>You look Like Morrigan.Changing to this
>>1673046Then I'll build one myself
Honestly as much as I like all the girls I have a soft-spot for Morrigan. I ship her and Will so bad.
>>1673050>>1673054I'm sure she'd be surprised if she got her own train built.
>>1673072She's solidly my favorite.
>>1673100I like Mary a lot but as a personal "I like her". For Will I think Morrigan works the best.
>>1673106For Will I think it goes Morrigan>Cath>Mary>....?Bell?
>>1673108Yeah I can agree with that.
>>1673108Bell has gotten a lot better . Give her some slack. Also she and Cath seem to be coming as a package deal. They do almost everything together of late.
>>1673114I think that's because of their Will fanclub more than they getting along together. Maybe I'm wrong though.
>>1673114Still I think Bell is a poor match for Will.
>>1673014You remember having this conversation before, back when Morrigan first got her dress. It was a little different and involved her dress but it’s similar. “You look good,” you say, “You look like Morrigan.” Morrigan lets out a sigh, then a chuckle. “Thanks Will,” she says, finishing with your back, “That… that makes me feel better.” You smile a bit, you like it when Morrigan feels ok. “Here,” she says, handing you the cloth, “Your turn.” “Ok,” you say, scooting around so you’re behind Morrigan. She doesn’t cover up this time, you feel her hand brush across your back gently as you do so. As you start to wash Morrigan’s back you notice a few more scars than you’d seen before. One or two of them are raised and you trace your finger over them. Morrigan notices, looking back at you. “I got that one in Chicago,” she says as you trace one down her shoulder, then another near her hip, “That one in Nashville.” Since Morrigan had mentioned them, you also look at her muscles. She’s not built like Cath, but she has definitive lines on the major muscle groups. You manage this all in the time it takes you to wash her back, not lingering too much. Again you and Morrigan swap, washing other bits on the front as well as your hair. It takes a while, given that you were both rather dirty from the night but you soon finish. When you dry yourselves, Morrigan again seems much calmer than she was when you started. You aren’t sure why but she definitely is. You smile, happy that she’s out of whatever made her unhappy. As you come out of the bathroom you notice that Nem still isn’t back, you wonder where she went. Instead Morrigan climbs into bed, curling up near the middle. “Come here Will,” she says, patting the bed beside her. You nod, coming near the middle with her. She wraps her arms around you, her head nestling into your shoulder. You wrap your arms around her in turn, cuddling like Mary taught you. “Thank you Will,” Morrigan murmurs. “You’re welcome,” you say, not quite sure why you’re being thanked. Morrigan lets out a laugh and you feel something soft press against you neck. “Get some sleep Will,” she says, “You need to get better.” You nod your head, settling into sleep. You still hurt, but you realize as you drift off that somehow with Morrigan nearby it doesn’t feel quite as bad.
