My name is Mary.

I now own a dungeon.

Not by choice, mind you. I was forced into this when the previous owner placed a curse on me after I tried to audit him. Now I'm the ruler of this place until my asshole of a boss decides to send someone to free me from the curse.

So, anywhere between a month and forever.

But I'm trying to make the most of it while I'm here.

Lately, however...

Well... The slime breeding project has been a success.
They uh

Really know how to breed.

However, there is a problem... We've been getting no one. It seems that the Red Widow's attempts to slow us down has, in fact, worked...

Not even any of the repeat customers seem to be interested. They're all going to new dungeons.

"Miss Mary," Alex approaches the dungeon master wearing the official Slimecrown Citadel Shop Attire. "I may have an idea that would get us more heroes..."

"Oh? What is it?"

"Well... What if we host an Event? Something special and new that would get people interested. And maybe we can change up the dungeon a bit..."

>She holds up some charts.

"Statistics show that dungeons with lots of little enemies that grant loot or EXP get more traffic.

... Just some ideas...."

Hmm.
An event?

But what....

You have Lots of baby slimes, so something that kills lots of these baby slimes? Maybe add some Archer, Magic, sword and Shield slimes to make mobs for people to kill. Say That the Queen, Prince and Lily left on urgent business and the other princesses are in charge, but the accidentally broke the slime nursery or something. Now the mindless and semi-mindless newborns threaten to let IT out. Clearing them out will net a reward. This also lets us introduce Colt, and the princesses properly. Make the lil slimes drop like 3-4 gold or have that much as a bounty.

So, I've been working on a new possible map for the dungeon, now that we have money for upgrades. It basically breaks down into four areas, each with a member of slime royalty.

> Upper Left: Royal Library
Hosts the slime alchemy lab and puzzles for the brainy types.

> Upper Left: Royal Maze
A maze lies between you and the princess. Traverse at your own risk avoiding explody. You must then appease or battle music slime for access to the tower. Her tower is situated right next to the slime playgrounds, so she has lots of friends.

> Lower Right: The Mines
A test bed for earth type monsters. The prince is here studying minerals (or another boss entirely). First, however, you must battle your way through the arguing light and darkness siblings whose struggle is blasting lasers through the darkened caverns, not to mention monk slime, who is meditating in his own quiet sanctum.

> Lower Right: The Training Grounds
Battle your way through waves of enemies to win the princess' key (and possibly her heart.

> The Grand Tower
To get inside, you must unfreeze the tower exterior, but neither the ice elementals or the final guardian will make that easy. Then you have to run back to the descending drawbridge through a field of collapsing ice.

> The Tower Proper
Fight Lily and Slime Knight, the final guards for Queen Curi.

Plenty of room for flexibility, but let me know what you think.
>>
>>1445986
Slime curling contest?
Succubus bullying day?

You should really start up a campaign of your own to hinder the Red Widow's dungeon. And for the love of slime, upgrade that exterior!
>>
>>1445986
Summer Event iis a cool idea. Add pools and aquatic enemies, dress everyone in swimsuits, drop time limited loot. It's a really efficient tactic.

Hell, put a skimpy swimsuit with a nice defense bonus on it as a rare loot, people will kill themselves for it.
>>
>>1445986
Lily Appreciation Day. Where we have Lily Balloons and Lily Mascots and Lily Themed Food and Drink.

Also the YUM! Colosseum Challenge, where you have to defeat Brawndo for prizes.
>>
>>1445986
Well, there are a couple things we could do.

First of all, I think with our layout, we can't do too much, we're a little cash poor right now. Unless you want to give Lily a break and we try someone like Colt as a midboss. Or do a very simple light/dark puzzle room that is 100g.

You could always do a special event that doubles token gains and increases the chance of better loot for beating Curi. Make the table a little bigger and see what happens?

I do think we should advertise the fact that beating Curi DOES grant access to one of three prizes (the princess rooms).

Maybe have the Princesses wander the halls as interactives, then they'll become known by the public. They haven't even debuted yet!

>>1446034
Oh boy, I'm going to look this over in a moment. This has some potential!
>>
>>1445986
>>1446034

A huge overhaul to slime crown like the following would help with a Grand Reopening. Advertise increased drops and introduce plenty of boxes and enemies with loot.
>>
>>1446034
I like it. Gives the place some structure while still being open. Right now this are just kinda tacked on
>>
Whatever we do we should decorate the rooms after curi.
>>
>>1446034
You listed Upper Left twice and Lower Right twice.
>>
>>1446034
>Ms. Bloops not at the entrance.
Get out.
>>
>>1446034
Alright, so here's the thing that is in our way right now. As it stands, we don't yet have the money to do this grand of an expansion. I absolutely love the idea, though there are a few tweaks here and there (princess and monster placement, room details, etc). If I recall correctly, we're still awaiting Yum!'s trial run first to figure out if the deal to get gold/improve our exterior will happen. BUT I definitely want to revisit this as soon as we can.

This is definitely what I'd like to do in the future, especially when our princesses get leveled up to five rune monsters so that they can battle appropriately, much as I would love to have what >>1446010
>>1446017
suggests, they don't yet have the skills(runes) to make it in combat yet. Unless we use the runes for items for them to wield, of course.
>>
Reminder to invest all our gold in the next run. They're probably not coming because tge citadel isn't very profitable.

So I did, it should read:
> Upper Left
> Upper Right
> Lower Left
> Lower Right

Also, here is a zoom-in of what I had in mind for the Royal Library. To get into the building, you have to solve a revolving ring puzzle from a dais. If you get frustrated and smash the dais, a strong monster pops out essentially made of the entryway.

From here, there are two rooms springing off from the main fountain room. Anyone who dives into the fountain can find a switch directly to Rosa. Otherwise, you will need to make your way to the slime alchemy lab and brew up a solution (possibly tea) without making too many mistakes.

Too many disposed potions down the hatch might create a terrible monster.

>>1446084

Pls anon. It's implicit.
>>
>>1446034
>>1446106
I really like this design. It's much more obvious that it's a castle.

I think we should populate corridors and empty rooms with slimes and ice elementals, maybe some leaf/tree people too. We've had almost no cannon fodder in our dungeon layouts so far, let's fix that.

Also seriously we need to put in more loot and gold drops.
>>
>>1446106
>Pls anon. It's implicit.
No. The Bloops Fountain goes at the entrance. She's the first thing you meet in the dungeon, always has been, always will be.
>>
>>1446139
Can it look like an actual castle on the overworld though, instead of a creepy rape den? Because I'd really like that. More than investing in additional rooms, in fact. Looks like it'd cost 800.

>>
>>1445986
How about a beauty contest between the princesses, or some other form of contest? Adventurers could pick sides, and do mini-quests to help their favorite princess win. We could even make it a long-term ongoing thing, where the adventurers help them resolve a gradually evolving power struggle and the dungeon changes depending on who's winning.

Didn't we recently hire a sponsor? Do you think that might have something to do with it? What do online reviews say?
>>
>>1446164
Why do our rivals have better uniforms? We can't let this stand.
>>
>>1446175
Bottom right is clearly the best of the four.

Also, I'm really excited to try out that aqua rune. I'm thinking aqua+water to make a slime that has a fish living inside it, like a piranha or swordfish. An aquarium slime, if you will.
>>
Not sure if this would have any significant effect since we're short on gold, but could we possibly try and change up the theme of the dungeon from time to time?

In some MMOs, I've seen some "dungeons" that are actually designed to be contained outdoor areas (i.e. valleys, mountain passes) instead of an underground lair or castle. If we're ever considering a change of scenery or room design, it might be worth considering.
>>
>>1446106
I like this, there is definitely some potential there. Though I'll admit I prefer Sophie there, if only because I kind of like the idea of Giselle and Germaine and Sophie being naturally together. And Sophie being shy and locking herself away.

But the puzzle is great, and the general plans seem good, add a few more unique rooms for fun battles and we're in business!
>>1446139
I agree, some empty rooms with slimes/other monsters are definitely on the docket.

Loot and Gold is tricky, I want it to, but we've been spending all our money immediately, as opposed to being patient and building it up slowly.

We could use runes to make some items though.

>>1446158
The way that you've described these rooms seems to be a little off. I think you are undervaluing the costs associated with these expansions. The way I interpreted it is that there is more that six rooms needed. Although this could be seen as a beta test, which would make sense.

Also, things like your ring puzzle and the dias and furnishing the rooms will cost a bit too. I reckon that your looking more like 800-1200 gold at the very minimum here. But that's just me.

And again I'll state one final thought
>Library/Magic Tower
Sophie: Since she'll be getting magic in the future for her upgrades.
>Maze/Gardens/Outdoors
Rosa: Plant Slime, it makes sense to have her with nature enemies to get us going.

Mirelle is fine where she is, but we'll want to get some barracks in there, maybe start debuting new cavalry monsters like Salamanders and other goodies!
>>
>>1446175
>Rivals
>Better Uniforms

>to help break up the monotony
We need this alot. Something other then slimes so people aren't just fighting through wave after wave of slime variations.
>>
I wanna combine water and candy runes to make either bubblegum slimes or honey slimes.

Also, we should take the cook up on his offer to turn gold into materials which can be runed. I'm thinking bone, meat, blood, feather. Basically any animal parts you can think of (but mostly bone because I want skeletons, or at least spines with skeletons in them.)
>>
>>1446224
Some future plans included, Magic Suits of Armour, Salamanders, Plant monsters, etc. Give it time.
>>
>>1446164
Where's the bulge?
>>
>>1446218
Actually I'm freaky fish guy.
>>
>>1446231
>Give it time.
Time is something we don't have. Neither is Money unfortunately.
Our best plan right now would be to draw in a quick cash boost and use it to immediately add variety to the current dungeon.

Also, we need a Prison Wing so we can add Undead and Demons and shit.
The Space Adventure idea from awhile back was neat too.
>>
>>1446252
And actually, building on the Prison Wing, we should add a colosseum too for special battles and shit.
Maybe even do a boss rush mode.

Because I want Brawndo the Thirst Quencher as a boss.
>>
>>1446273
Who now?

Though, we do need to put Colt somewhere, don't we?
>>
>>1446281
One of the ideas to get YUM! to stop putting their brand logo all over everything was to give them their own boss in a Colosseum Area, an Energy Drink Elemental called Brawndo the Thirst Quencher.

It was a retardedly 90s idea and I love it.

Okay, I will admit to be slightly off. Right now, we have 11 basic rooms, one boss room, and one miniboss room(not including the princess rooms, the shops, the hub, or the employee rooms).

My proposed schematic would call for 17 rooms , 3 miniboss rooms, and one boss room total, which would be 500 gold. This is assuming we don't count bridges, which are just corridors to rooms.

So, 500 is the number for a fully revamped dungeon which has plenty of room for new monsters.

Is Lily an option? She might be feeling lovesick after her true love Elf Boy returned home though.

Also, there should be secret companions for the event, like Ms. Bloops. Technically, as Curi's Mother she's royalty and counts. The Slime Prince should also be an option.

Also, see if we can have Metal Slime work double time due to the token bonus.

All noted. Faction wars may be a bit out of what we can do at this moment, but it does sound really fun.

Now, let's see what we can do for the dungeon itself.

>>1446106
>>1446034
I like this idea and I've made a few variations to it. This is just a rough draft so please bear with me.

However, the problem comes with the final room. First of all, the prince and Squire are the same slime. In that, it is Simon just he's gone from Squire to Prince.

Second, to reach Curi they would have to battle their way through our two toughest bosses and then finally reach her. Add in the environmental hazards and we have some issues.

We can't quite do a puzzle that was noted for Rosa's room but we can have them try to craft potions with the serving slimes.

Also, we need a means of reaching Curi. Unless I'm missing something, with the layout suggested they could just walk straight to her room after getting past the comfy slimes.

Before we had keys. Perhaps something needed from each princess? That would make a visit to their ages needed.
>>
>>1446838
A fetch quest!
>>
>>1446838
How about instead of completely blocking access, beating each princess makes the Curi fight easier? Then strong heroes can get extra challenge by rushing the boss. Drop rates would be increased, obviously.

By "easier" I mean if they collect the three items it's the standard boss fight. Otherwise there's additional mechanics in the fight that make things harder. Like, say, slime waves of types matching the princesses, or environmental hazards.
>>
>>1446838
>Perhaps something needed from each princess?
Favors, like perfumed kerchiefs or necklaces?
A single drop of their slime, to be poured into a bowl?
T-their undergarments?
If we go for the first one, why not have them make a favor or trinket that would drop after defeating them?
>>
>>1446838

I like this suggestion: >>1446895

There have been some encounters in online games where activating "hard mode" boss encounters or killing a trio of bosses in the most difficult combo possible equate to a harder encounter and proportionately higher reward. I'm not sure if we'd need extra runes to incorporate that in, or if the other slime princesses would just fuse with Curi or add an additional mechanic via producing slimes or attacks every so often from an unreachable location.
>>
>>1446838

Curi's tower was going to be restricted first by a gate that takes three keys to open from the center staging area. And then you would have to defeat the ice elementals/mini boss to open up the tower. After that, the tower itself would be open. Also, where does big slime go now? He was going to be staged where the spa is.
>>
>>1446907
We could make an 'Extra Core' magic item that you equip to slimes to give them some abilities of a higher rune slime.

Might let us weasel our way around room restrictions too.

Alright, so here are my ideas. If you want to make 'the keys' something cool and symbolic, here is what you do.
> The heart of flame is owned by Mirelle. It is what is necessary to melt the ice surrounding the tower.
> The heart of the forest is owned by Sophie and grants control of the dungeon's plants, allowing you to lower the castle drawbridge.
> The heart of magic opens the seal keeping you from even entering the icy tower area.

You thus need all three to craft changes to the dungeon to let you fight the final boss.

Paladin slime can be moved off of the ice area and replaced with an ice elemental monster for lower specc'd groups. The collapse from the point of melting can also be scaled time-wise to allow them to escape if they don't mess around.

Add a platforming section between Lily and RSK before running into Curi, and you give them a chance to heal.

Oh, and Curi's dance theatre, I recommend including an alternate route to Sophie through Curi's dance hall. If you dance along with her, you are clearly a fun loving person, and so you gain immediate access to the slime playground. There, if you can appease the slimes playing there, they will help you reach Sophie without going through the maze.

Hmm. Items that remove barriers is a great idea... But so is getting them to make the fight easier.

How about, you can do both. the items in question negate certain terrain difficulties within the fight. You can proceed without them, but it makes the whole thing more difficult.

Also, outside of Curi's room is Lily and the Reginald, with an ever shrinking ice platform to make the fight timed.

Also, an alternate path has been added to Sophie's room. To get there you have to go through So You Think You Can Slime.

Now, we still have an empty room and a few more units to toy around with...

Big Jamba Slime can also be located at the end of the mines, I guess. He doesn't have to be beaten, but he drops loot.
>>
>>1447007
Let's put Simon and Rosalyn in that empty room together!
>>
>>1447007

I recommend giving Monk slime his own reclusive place in the caves and setting up the room before it with Dark slime bullying light slime. Plenty of pits dot the floors, but to get across, you have to catch glimpses of the room with flashes of light. If you fall down, there is a pit with other slime monsters that you can slog out of to get back to the top level.

Also, for the arena, I put Ruth there to suggest that her batting game be part of the tourney.
>>

get guard slimes for the captain
>>
>>1447007
Colt needs a chance to shine, maybe put him in a room with some archer slimes?

I also want to play around with gravity/light/darkness slimes. Maybe use those three to make some sort of planetarium? And put some magic slimes in there who are studying astrology.
>>
>>1447007
Do we have enough rooms for smaller fights though? Should we considering adding more buffer rooms on the wings before the towers/princess meetups?
>>
>>1447007
Also, can we put copies of the griselle and Germaine in the cafe?

I think this is really starting to come together now... Added some basic slimes and Colt has his own room.
Also the Light and Dark slimes have their own. What should they be doing while in there?

Beyond that... I think this is it.
>>
>>1447007
Put solo ice elementals in two of the empty corridors alongside small groups of slimes.

The other corridor can have some of the more advanced slime units in it.
>>
>>1447083
Oh wait nvm the ice elementals are already in use. I guess the remaining two empty hallways can have some cannon fodder in them... maybe some slime archers too?
>>
>>1447062
Looks good, Mary!
I'm just wondering where Simon will go.
Will he be able to be spawned into Mirelle's room?
>>
>>1447062
We could have the Light and Dark slimes play some sort of chess-like game.
>>
>>1447062
The light and dark slimes are guarding treasure through the power of epilepsy-inducing strobe.

Or, if that doesn't seem right, maybe they're playing some sort of slime sport against each other? One that involves something dangerous to humans but is harmless to slimes, like its underwater or full of spikes? Like javelin throwing but with a reciever position.

>Mary sees Dungeoneer walking up to her, a big grin on her face.

"Soooooo.... Rumor has it you're thinking about letting us get some runes so we can experiment with them. That's so cool of you. Me and the girl's are dying to try it out. Any idea when that's gonna be a thing? We've got 20 runes now and we're not doing anything with them."

Eh, let's give them like...8-10 for now, we'll get back to the percentage bit later.

Also what >>1447194 said, with those reasons. We plain don't have room for bosses, so they'd be wasted, and we need currently named people as they are for plot. Aside from that, go nuts!

Part of me wonders if we're doing the wrong thing and picturing it as a monster. Its an item, I think. And or an inadvertant trap?
>>
>>1447431
This is cool. We should make some more book monsters for the library.

Brilliant, Demi. Remember though, you can use runes on other things, too. You can alter rooms, even your own room, as well as making items for your own use or use in the rest of the dungeon.

As for this guy... Hmm. Maybe we could put him on a walkway or narrow space.
>>

Heh. This isn't inherrently terrible. Could see use in the maze, pushes people back to the start with his shields. Maybe he's a construct?

Or in tandem with all out attackers? Or maybe he's the guy we put in the slime fountain room, he tries to push them into the fountain to drown them?

Keep thinking up ideas though. You'll get the hang of this!

I'm not gonna lie, I actually kinda like this one. He could be a good, solid puzzle element to any particular idea we come up with- nothing to necessarily be BEATEN, but simply passed...or yes, beaten.

Classic, but effective!

>>
>>1447520
He protects someone else. And shield bashes, I guess.
>>

Have you played through Dark Souls 3 Ringed City bit?

Put him on a narrow platform above a spike pit or our Comfy Slime moat and have him shove PCs off the platform with his double shield.
>>
>>1447518
>Shield Man
NO! Stop it you fool!
Now we need to make seven more and hope we aren't attacked by a little boy in blue spandex.
>>
>>1447518
We can't use him. We haven't found a Mega rune to make a new Man to go after him when he and 7 of his friends eventually go rogue thanks to Dungeoneer's attempts at world domination.

Oh, but we have a rune that would let us make a Rockman. Alright. I'm down. Get Demo making another seven. They need to have abilities that counter one of the others without overlapping.
>>
>>1447518
Again, looks kind of goofy, but like the ice golems, having a hard-bodied monster to mix in with the squishy slimes can really throw adventurers for a loop.

I mean, if shield knight can keep up with shovel knight, then I'm sure shield man will be pretty cool.

I am somewhat surprised the demonologist doesn't have lots of ideas for summoning demons though.

Wait, guys, I have the perfect plan! We add a water rune to make this a shield slime. It looks the same, but the difference is this, slimes can split. So we could have a legion of shield slimes posing as doors, and if an adventurer tries to open them, they pop out and beat the shit out of them.

Besides, if we need to solve the clothing issue. Dressing her up in rags would work its haunting the maze and we're good. Or as others said. An experiment!

>Using some runes to help make the place a bit more furnished. We ARE a castle, but it's a bit sparse in the rooms. Perhaps some columns or something using stone runes. Realistically the really meaty things I want to do I.E A Barracks for Mirelle and the military, the library, the royal gardens, need more money than runes. But if we can furnish Rosa, Mirelle and Sophies rooms a bit to make some more strategy/use it for living conditions, that would be great.

Other then that, use some runes for item creation.

We have Mirelle, Sophie and Rosa's weapons in mind, but it depends on if they are dungeon constructs. If they don't need runes to make the Magmallet, Marsh Rod and Manifold Bow, then I would counsult my pdf found here >>1445984
and maybe make one of the items on the list with a rune.

Personally I like one of the following.

>The Orb of Mire Earth+Magic
>Slime Bell Fancy+Magic
>Adhesive Boots Water+Cloth

But only really one. We do want to save runes for bigger projects. But we also want these rewards to be in here so that people see we aren't cheapskates!

>>1447910
We should spend some runes in interior design/deocorating. Even through some of the rooms have themes from the runes, they're just barren rooms without any other object or furniture. Add in some furniture or destructible stuff for adventurers to look at, use, or smash. You know how cathartic/fun it is for adventurer to smash shit and find money from smashed furniture/ceramic pots.

Nah, no need to upgrade Ruth. Ruth is absolutely perfect as she is, and she already got something better than an upgrade from our dear friend Moon Elf.

Aquarium slime
Water+aqua
This slime has Pirranah living inside her, and they'll defend their home.

Skeleton slime
A bone rune made by paying the cook + water
This slime resists negative energy/necromancy, as it is already partly dead. It has a skeleton inside it.

Honey slime
Water+candy
This gooey, sticky, sweet slime may not be too powerful, but getting coated in it sure is demoralizing. And monsters can smell you now, too.

O. Fence
Sword+sword+sword
He's a knife guy. Brother of D. Fence

Glass horse
Container+glass
Slime Calvary pour themselves into these hollow golems to kamikaze themselves into enemies and deliver themselves into melee range.

Voodoo doll
Cloth+magic (maybe cloth+dark?)
This doll hurts you by stabbing itself. Though it inflicts pain rather than injury, it can become very distracting.

What do you guys think of these?
>>
>>1447943
anon... I don't think you understand the royal slime family. We've already talked about this. Each prominent member of the Royal Family has their own gimmick and boss phase battles specifically tailored. go check the archives please.

Point. Maybe add fancy runes to the library and Sophie's retreat, a law rune to the slime battlefields, and a magic rune to the caves for the crystals that are bouncing light all over the place.
>>
>>1447931
As per the pastebin, along with their associated token counts right now.

Psion: 2
Warrior: 1
Mage: 1
Wizard: 1
Rogue: 1
Golem: 4
Sorceror: 4
Moon Elf: 5
Chemist: 2
Ronin: 1

I'm sure most of us would love to see Psion, Rouge, Warrior, Mage and Ronin back. They're really popular with us crown folks. But really, anyone would be fine.

Either that or it's time for some newbies that want to give it a go.

That and if old hands see the trial run, we can probably see how the YUM! branding goes too.
>>1447933
My friend, the word you are looking for, is Gummy Wyrm.

It's been talked about. I want to save that for a surprise encounter in the next round of upgrades!

>>1447943
Cute, but we should be fine with one fusion. Don't need to make the gimmick stale now. That and seriously...Rosalyn will be most upset at you for suggesting this.

That said if Mirelle is a dork like suggested in the stream, I'm good for this!

>>1447944
Honey Slime is good for extra spa revenue. O. Fence is good for a future puzzle battle. Glass Horse is an amazingly creative idea that will go well with other future cavalry plans that I have, like a Salamander Calvary unit!

Voodoo Doll is good, but should be saved until we have a more fitting room for it. I.E with dark mages.

Aquarium and Skeleton Slime are interesting concepts, but I'm not as thrilled on them as others.

For now, I'd still put a hold on going to monster heavy. I'd like to think that this mission will get us a decent amount of gold and runes, and if not from that, we'll get it from YUM!

I'm glad you like glass horses, that's my favourite of the bunch. They'd shine the most in especially large rooms where they can cover a lot of ground quickly.

Skeleton is probably the weakest idea there, but I do like it a fair amount. Aquarium would look coolest with a bunch of copies, with different aquatic monsters jumping from slime to slime.

Let's not forget that Simon and the princesses are siblings though.

Hmm.... We could have the beginnings of Slimecrown's Heavy Infantry/Cavalry in the Royal Slime Army. What if we had 1-rune slimes rodeo on top of the O.Fence and D.Fence minions like riding a mount? O.Fence and D.fence would turn from 3 rune metal minions into 4-rune miniboss tier slime piloted mechas.
>>1447902
>Glass horse: Kamikaze units piloted by slimes.
I like this idea, this could go in tandem with the slime mecha/mount ideas to pair up with O.Fence and D.Fence.

Sounds like this guy.
Lemme try my hand at some:
Jelly Fish
Water+Aqua
A fishy slime that floats about and gives painful stings with its many and quickly regenerating tendrils

Cold Steel Golems
Water+Water+Metal
these edgy guys are related to the ice golems, and may show up in rooms where the Metal Slime runs to. Nothing personal, kid.

Cannonball Slime
Water+Metal+Gravity
a tough monster easily mistaken for the Metal Slime, but much tougher and with a habit of tackling straight through obstacles and enemies alike if attacked. the rewards are similarly greater as well.

Slimy Snail
Water+Shield/container
A snail monster that leaves a trail of slippery slime in its wake and can climb walls and ceilings. the slime if left alone can eventually become basic slime mobs

I Also thought of something to add to the shope products list:
Slimeblock! Its like sunblock, but slimier! when applied to the skin, it will create a thin layer that provides a few hours of protection that guards against burns both sun based and fire based, and prevent poisons and other hazardous liquids from reaching your flesh. It washes off with water though.

We just need to make sure all the component demons have a tech rune and are created with this purpose in mind- O is already basically a robot.

So, a sword robot, a shield robot, and three more probably since five being the best number for component robots is already an established fact by now.

I propose one flight guy as well. The rest... maybe a magic robot, and a literal healbot?

I think we need to use runes for magic item loot and put them in some chests. We've been too stingy on rewards.

How about there's a chest placed with a themed reward in the room of whichever princesses you've teamed up with? But only if the princess is still alive. Make princess healing and revival via Cleric Plant free if you're already paying for someone else?

We could also make a chest appear in the main room if you get all of the special items for the Regi and Lily fight. If you defeat Regi and Lily without using any of them, you get a chest too.

Secondly, we've got a few monsters we're not using and the top right and left diagonal corridors are currently empty.

Top right: Ragdoll Giant! A lot of cloth slimes have stitched themselves together to make a giant plushie monster. (It's an emergency measure to stop Explodey getting out of the maze) The goal is to make it fall apart and defeat the individual slimes before it can reform.

Top left: Novice Guide. Someone dropped their book while leaving the library? It's probably nothing. The Guide attacks from behind if people ignore it. A novice's guide to assassination?!

Let's put D.Fence into the maze as a guard. He's got the potential to block paths unexpectedly and if he sees someone in front of him, he'll chaaaaarge. If he runs into a wall, the noise might wake up Explodey.

Watcher can be in the room of the princess you're teaming up with as a fight? Or she can be an extremely aggressive librarian seeing that room's currently empty.
>>
Another thing I want to do: look at the profiles and reviews of other dungeons. For the specific purpose of allying with one. We could trade ideas and discoveries with each other, support each other against hostile factions and even plan cross-dungeon events.

It could be awesome. Think about it, anons.
>>
>>1448004
Since we seem pretty agreed on makaing furnishings, theres one thing we should have done for a while now, and thats make more chests, for a few reasons.
One, they'd provide a reward for doing more dangerous rooms, if theres a chest just out of reach somewhere.
Two, it will help out our poor mimics. If the only chests in the dungeon are either mimics, or one with gold in it, then adventurers really have no reason to not just attack them on sighht, and the mimics take the fall. Also, the first chest in the dungeon shouldnt be a mimic, so that adventurers who try it are lulled into being less suspicious.we should consider shuffling which chest are and arent mimics in the dungeon around every few tries as well.
>>
>>1448118
Still kinda bummed we don't have slime mimics.

Obviously it's not a priority, but I do wish we'd do something like a timeskip eventually so we can do all these cool little ideas we have pretty much every thread. The rune and gold management aspect of Audit is kinda holding us back.
>>
Gentlslimes, I propose The Yum Run! A three room division for our customers with a Yum Chest at the end that allows inexperienced players to train their skills and more experienced players some light exercise.
Room one would be slimed by a mix of sword candy slimes and shield candy slimes to allow practice against mixed opponents.
Room two would be Gummy Worms and Candy Slimes in mass to allow mass combat wave practice.
Room three would be a mini boss with minion backup and the Yum chest, minions include the monsters from the previous rooms and an Exploding Candy Slime (or we could make throwing exploding candy one of his attacks). Also one room would contain Off Brand the mimic.
All it would cost is 200 gold and 17 Runes. If it stays quiet then we could be done before the next costumer arrives.
Also Mary it's time to talk Runes with Alex and send her out to start proceedings against the former King of Demons to have a legal claim against him before the bank does, while she is out there she can get a feel for the local mood and look out for things like a baseball event that Ruth would enjoy or items that might give new Runes.
>>
>>1448127
Amendment. It would cost 16 Runes for the monsters plus 3 to give each room a candy theme. 19 total.
>>
>>1448017
What would it take to convince you, anon?
>>
We need a Modular rune.

Like, any slime with this rune can merge with/unmerge with other slimes.

So if there's a modular slime, and the adventurers seem to be stacked well vs. a given build of slimes, we can do a hot-swap by merging various slimes into 'Moddy' and then having new ones come out with different rune sets.

(did I trigger any old school MTG players just now?)
>>
How would everyone feel about selling Runes? We're getting them in fast enough that we're probably better off with the Gold.
>>
>>1446153
That's what he means by "it's implicit." It goes without saying that Ms. Bloops and her fountain are the first "encounter."
>>
How many rooms do we have? At a quick count the answer seems to be 17 including 2 mini boss rooms and 1 boss room.
does our dungeon actually have a limit to its floor space or could we keep spreading out if we found a way to depict it?
On the what Mary should do side of things I recommend we read up on Red Widows dungeon for when we inevitably need to attack her.
And >>1448127
>Also Mary it's time to talk Runes with Alex and send her out to start proceedings against the former King of Demons to have a legal claim against him before the bank does, while she is out there she can get a feel for the local mood and look out for things like a baseball event that Ruth would enjoy or items that might give new Runes.
Since Alex can handle word of mouth advitising while doing everything else.
>>
IMHO the biggest problem with the dungeon right now is its top loaded.

lots of cool boss fights, lots of fusions, lots of high end big slimes.

little in the way of regular enemies.

its just open a door, heres a fight mechanic.

no lead in.

we need small one or two rune mobs that acclimate adventurers to the mechanics of the boss in question.

my solution? add a corridor or series of rooms before each mini boss. theme the rooms appropriately to give adventurers an introduction to the ideas behind that mini boss.

because throwing small enemies in with the boss itself is a bad idea unless thats the gimick.

by presenting a gentler learning curve we prevent "adventure whiplash" and ease the frustration of a defeated party. plus they get more gold, EXP, and tokens and so feel more rewarded.

plus the longer run means more heals means more gold.

sure its fun to think up epic six rune death dealing mega slimes, but its NOT fun to run through a dungeon like that.
>>
Couldn't we, you know, offer Premium Options?

Attract rich adventurers that are not in it for money, but in it for an experience. If they pay up front, we spend a portion of any gold they put down immediately for instant dungeon tweaks, etc. Or we could attract investors in Gold Slime farming. 100% of an investment would go towards immediately creating/farming more gold slimes, and they are entitled to a payout of their initial investment plus a percentage of profit from all gold runes generated from further buddings off of their 'seed' investment.

On that note if we do anything seriously lucrative like this we need to invest in protection versus 'hostile' actors. Like, a very powerful demon that can toss people directly into The Thing's room. That would be used vs. illegitimate trespassers that are breaking the spirit of the dungeon, like competitors, spies, etc.
>>
>>1448303
i have the sneaking suspicion that RW was a succubutt under the previous owner.
Im not well read on the archives, but if that proves to be the case we may not need to attack her. after all the enemy of my enemy...

also the horror below cant see through illusions. I say we enlist the help of a few adventurers and use illusions, invisibility, and the like to kite Jefery to death then harvest his runes. the only other thing to do with him is unleash him on an enemy dungeon. and thats super risky.

or make an illusionist/psion slime and use it to control The Jef.
>>
>>1448310
wait, why not set up a "survival mode" for ultra serious adventurers?

we can allready produce massive amounts of slimes, why not make that work for us?

it would let serious adventurers rack up huge Exp gain, and we could set aside a gold prize. funnel half the gold lost by a loosing team into the prize so it keeps growing.
>>
>>1448306
This is very true but since we're getting in Runes a lot faster than gold we end up top heavy as it's the path of least resistance, also as each fight needs a room unless we can spread out more we're not going to have room. For the last few threads I've been saying we need to have some themed runs rather than the hub and keys system we had. This new floorplan goes some way towards it but would like to make each passage from the hub have it's own theme unfortunately this would require lots of gold and therefore would require a way to stop us spending it the moment we get it.

Alright, I finally had some sleep so its time to look at these bad boys.

Of what you've suggested, I think your best monsters are the Jelly Fish and the Slimy Snail. I like that the idea of the Slime Kingdom having all these little slime creatures. It's cute, and hey they have some neat potential for future puzzles, etc.

Cannonball Slime and Cold Steel Golems are cute, but hard to place right now. maybe in the future?

With that said. I fucking love Slimeblock! That is an item that, if not made, I'm definitely going to put it to my list of items. I'd probably put it at around 7-12 tokens!

Good work anon!

>>1447995
I too, am noticing the slime army growing. I like it. That said, we'll need to diversify at some point to add more militia types. Magma Slime lancers that ride Salamanders. Mace/Morningstar wielding Mud Slimes with thicker armour.

Also the idea of those slimes riding a mount is cool...I mean, hey, there is also that Slime horde in suit of armour gimmick that's always been tossed about.

>>1448112

I too, believe that D.Fence should be left in the maze. Makes a great mobile obstacle to pen people back and also just cause general annoyances

Novice guide being in the library should be fine as is, though part of me likes him as a not-quite-a-trap in a bookshelf. Though him being absently left on a table is good too.

I think Watcher is fine in the magic tower, someone suggested that she's summoned after one too many failed dumpings of poorly conceived potions. Besides, seeing a wet and grumpy Watcher rise up from what is presumed to be the trash is both scary, and hilarious!

Ragodoll Giant a cute! But maybe reserved for a while. Maybe it could even be in the slime playroom as punishment for bullying baby slimes in the future?

>>1448115
>>1447902

I'm not so sure about selling runes yet, especially when I believe runes can be transferred into mana. Which is also a valuable resource that we haven't really been investing in. Mary is going to need new spells one day. Not to mention save up for appraisals/lawyers/etc. So I'd keep that in mind.

That said, rune trading could be fun!
>>
>>1448244
I still think we're better off diverting some of our rune supply into making magic item loot. That way we spend less gold on treasure and are handing out a variety of interesting items to attract adventurers.
>>
Continuing on,

>>1448306
>>1447902
Well, with the surplus of slimes from the breeding chambers, we may yet have a use to work the extra slimes in. I'm with you, we'll need more two rune slimes. Basic soldiers, etc. So we can always fill the halls eventually.

That said, we're also doing a decent job in adding puzzles this run. Which should help a but in breaking up the monotony. I mean we have the brewing puzzle, we have the maze, Ruth's puzzle and the light/dark puzzle we just added. I think we'll be seeing some steps to improve the dungeon even more with the additional upgrades from this dungeon run. So for now I think tossing in the one/two rune basics in at transitional points
>>1448325

String/Dark/Poison/Chaos = Nightmare Spider: A hidden mini-boss that lives inside the walls; it can be discovered by a skilled rogue, allowing adventurers to fight it and claim the loot in its lair. In raid mode it moves around the dungeon silently, dropping down from the ceiling to ambush adventurers who wander off on their own.
As a bonus it can generate silk (useful for items, traps and decorating) and possibly spawn trash mobs.

Water/Water/Dark = Ninja Slime: An agile monster who specializes in the "stickiness" and "self-division" powers of all slimes. It can run on walls and create multiple copies of itself (the copies lack cores and vanish if the original is defeated). Place in one of the halls, possibly as a disciple of Monk Slime - its attack power isn't very high, so it's unlikely to defeat adventurers by itself, but it can wear them down if they're not paying attention.

Metal/Metal/Metal/Magic/Container = War Golem: The Citadel's secret weapon, brought out only in times of gravest need (such as the original fight to imprison Jeffrey). Somewhere between a creature and an item, the War Golem is lifeless on its own, but a mob of 1-rune slimes can climb into it and operate it like a puppet. Its main body is nigh-indestructible (if we can, abuse loopholes by designating it as an NPC), but hitting it enough times will cause its "pilots" to leak out - adventurers must destroy as many of them as possible before they can climb back inside, and the golem grows weaker for each one that's lost.

So, we seem to agree that what we want to commit to (at least in part) are furnishings for the various rooms. In that vein, I would suggest:

> Maze: Add plant rune to make it a proper hedge maze
> Forge: Add a tech rune to give the workers lots of nice tools
> Library: Fancy(?). It's the closest thing I can think of that would add books.
> Sophie's Tower: Fancy to add some royal accouterments to her tower.
> Arena: Law and earth. A lot can happen here, might as well make it above average so we can add proper bleachers and rules for matches. Actually, great idea, we can put Paladin Slime here adjudicating the matches with squire helping out.
> Caves: Magic to make fancy, glowing crystals on the cavern walls.

That would be 6 runes for room renovations or 7 if we don't use Paladin Slime to set down rules in the arena.

People were also talking about setting up some loot items, specifically the book.
> A Farewell to Arms: One magic rune. Upon defeat, the book minion becomes an enchanted tome. Open to the right page and insert a weapon into the book proper to apply a short term elemental or physical enchantment to it. Limit one weapon at one time. Maximum of three times per day.
> Old Slime's Ring: One magic rune. Allows you to understand the slime language, essential for lore nuts. Reward is found in the slime maze or given by the slimes in the playground.
> Lil' Slugger: One magic/wood rune. Given as a random drop from Ruth's batting challenge. This simple bat allows you to return projectiles it should conceivably not be able to (such as fire, water, or lightning) so long as you successfully connect with your bat.

Dungeoneer, remember that as an Auditor Mary is focused on resources, you can impress her by coming up with ways to generate Mana without costing her items or finding ways to produce loot without it costing gold/mana/runes, remember how excited she was to learn that a Boss Room could produce it's own loot or how Carpenter was told to make the Slime Breeding Room immediately?
You could make her that happy by coming up with a way to give free loot or getting free mana.

I already know how to get Mary free mana. As a case precedent, it was confirmed that the MAQ magic system works within the context of the Audit universe. To that end, I've already produced a mass mana gathering spell for Tali, which should only be more effective in the mana saturated demon world.
>>
>>1448467
Do we have all those rune types?
>>
>>1448468

It theoretically doesn't matter, because we aren't so much using a physical rune as explaining the meaning of the symbols to Mary and having her spend some mana to kickstart the spell syphoning process. Not all branches are even necessary mind you, but with the help of the NPCs, we could probably setup a mana syphon on a tall tower fairly easily, providing a steady influx.
>>
>>1448472
OK. Keep in mind, I've only read audit and not Larro's other quests. I would like to see Mary do some casting some time.
>>
>>1448483
Also, we should have Mary use her glasses to check what runes are in the crown.

THAT IS A WARCRIME IN THE KINGDOM OF SLIMECROWN
>>
>>1448459
Perhaps I am missing something here, but do we even has an arena yet? I do not believe we do.

Anyways, my markdown would be
>Sophie's tower: One Fancy, One Earth. She feels a bit more at home and a bit less bad about accidentally making a mess/troubling Giselle and Germaine.
>Library: Fancy and Container. Shelves are containers, right? Fancy might get us nice carpet and a few tables.
>Caves: You got it right. Magic is good.
>Curi's Room: Fancy. It has some water, but fancy to make it more throne room like, or add stone pillars would be good. Adventurers can hide/marvel at the architecture.

Those items are neat. Though I like OSRing as a rare drop. Maybe for bosses. Because Slimish Syrup also exists.

>>>1448463
Keep in mind that we probably don't need poison. We can just give Ninja a poison weapon for one rune. Just a thought to keep the rune level down so that it doesn't make them more tough.

>>
So is this an actual quest or an abomination of moeshit and statsplergs
>>
>>1448554
it's a quest. We're in the transitory period between the heavy number crunching part where we renovate the dungeon and the part where an adventurer comes in and runs the dungeon and we watch the fireworks and salt fly.
>>
>>1448554
The questing happens when the qm is here
>>
>>1448554
It is an actual quest with a lot of more and intermittent crafting splurges. The crafting system is pretty fun.

Speaking of which, can somebody post the guide of what rune names have what symbols, and what the known opposite tune pairs are?

>>1448535
That'd be cool to have a Hannibal Lecter room with a slime that has half-digested cores floating around in it.
>>
>>1448554
Questing will happen soon, first 500 posts are usually stats and renovations, then the adventurers show up and the actual quest begins.
>>
>>1448554
As far as I know there are no stats.
>>1448517
>Keep in mind that we probably don't need poison. We can just give Ninja a poison weapon for one rune. Just a thought to keep the rune level down so that it doesn't make them more tough.
i mainly wanted a mix of enemy types so adventurers have something to think about when fighting them, there's a reason modern fighting games like to set you against a mix of enemys.

>hero classes
I'm not looking forward to this but I think we need a legit edgelord adventurer class to come run the dungeon. Said edgelord adventurer came here because he declared one of the slime princesses to be his waifu the moment he saw the ad for the dungeon event.
Another hero type I think would be interesting to run the dungeon would be a necromancer class hero. He comes here thinking necromancy is the shit and that this should be an easy dungeon but lo and behold he discovers Slime monk's school of Slime-fu.
What about an engineer class hero?
>>
>>1448616
>necro would be funny, but he'd have a bad time. almost nothing in here leaves a usable corpse when it dies

>engie
>Build'n a sentry!
would be interesting as a support class in a party.
>>

Necromancers are usually packing lightning, right? Might be easier than we'd think.

I'm looking forwards to Ronin coming back to solo the dungeon.

I wonder who the first to buy a M. Elf daki will be?
>>
>>1448679
What about Alchemist finding a new merc? He did say he won't stop until he gets that super rare slime core drop.
>>
>>1448679
I would actually love it if we get a sisters run some day. Because that dynamic seems too good to pass up, whenever it happens.

Personally, I still hope for a mix of heroes. Maybe 3-4. With at least one returning character.
>>
>>1448707
Yeah, I wasn't expecting it at the start of this quest but the heroes are really compelling characters. I especially like the blossoming romance between rogue and mage.
>>
>>1448566
Y even live
>>
>>1448722
They say a good business treats its customers like family. And it seems like most heroes are already there.

I always find the balance between getting gold/runes/mana vs Seeing our customers succeed to be quite fun. I mean, we all loved the Raid for that reason right?

And remember the days we hated Bulk Mage/Sorc? Things have changed a lot since then.

Maybe there is hope for Moon Elf and Alchemisy? Here is hoping for anons...
>>
>>1448814
So how do we handle Alchemist? He seems to be constantly getting shortchanged. We know he's spec'd to annihilate slimes and has a poor view of this dungeon, so how do we tailor it so that while he gets to throw his acid bombs with pyromaniac glee, the dungeon still manages to present him a challenge that is worth his time going through.
>>
>>1448827
Why even try so hard for that douche? If he missteps, he gets the stick. If he doesn't learn from that, too bad for him.
>>
>>1448829
We're a business, he is a customer, and the customer is always right.
>>
So, I noticed the cast image in the OP has Queen Lily but not The Royal Right Hand. Also, queen lily needs her name and runes listed. Larro, pls.
>>
>>1448834
The customer is absolutely not always right. For example, if the customer endangers Ms. Bloops' smile, the customer gets murdered.
>>
>>1448827
We know what he wants out of the dungeon, which is the slime core. Giving him a way to make visible progress towards attaining that would work best. Like, sell it for slime tokens in the shop for a limited time and suddenly every challenge that gives slime tokens will hold his interest.
>>
>>1448846
No.
>>
>>1448827
Simple: have more monster variety. He can specialize his potions to take out slimes, but we can throw things other than slimes at him.
>>
>>1448616
Actually, I think our dungeon might be uniquely suited to someone running a diplomat class.
>>
>>1448827

>>1448859
Has it mostly right here. Variety is an important aspect to the dungeon, so more monster types CAN help. That said, knowing us as I do, we'll probably still cry foul because we tend to throw tantrums when heroes don't act 'the right way'. With that in mind, its simple. We have to understand that this guy uses acids, and they will be used when applicable.

Now, there are also some other alternatives here and there that can help in the future as well. For one thing, we may run events in the future where the slime core drop rate is higher, not to mention we can always run events where its a major guaranteed prize. Like in that one suggested idea of a points rally, top scorer gets the prize guaranteed.

It doesn't even have to be in dungeon mode. If we upgrade Chef to level II. He can throw parties. What is better than a grand gala that ALSO comes with a chance for a Mini Slime core as a possible door prize?

All else fails we CAN do as >>1448851
suggests. But I am loathe to give ultra rare items in the store. Some rare drops can be puchased at the store. I don't like that being one of them.
>>
I wonder if it's possible to just sell the slime core to him for a large quantity of gold.
>>
>>1448936
Possible? Probably. But I don't think that would be the right way to run the dungeon.

I do wonder what potion he's planning on brewing with it though...
>>
>>1448938
Agreed. I believe that selling the item is in a bit of poor taste and ruins the mystique of the rarest item we have. We aren't an auction house, after all.

As to the potion he's planning. Maybe its something like our syrups, or RSJ? A part of me kind of expects that the potion brewing is a front for his true purpose.

OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODITSSOCUTEIWANTONEOHMYGOD!
>>
As a compromise how would you feel about letting people buy challenge modifiers that can make a fight harder but increase drops?
>>
>>1448967
That's a really good idea and you should be proud of yourself for thinking of it.
>>
how about a black market?
if you find it you can get a chance modifier, or some black market goods. however, if a member of the royal guard find's you with it, they wont hold back on the criminal scum that you are!
>>
>>1448936
Maybe? Wouldn't want to anyway. Part of the issue I think is that we personally oversee every single run by heroes, meaning we'd have to oversee him running it over and over and over until he got it.

>>1448967
Not a bad idea. A set of levers at the entrance that are immovable once you've left the room or some such would do the job.
>>
>>1448459
Speaking of loot, And getting the idea from the Glass horses, I think We could have a good way to make slightly more challenging mobs, while also providing relatively cheap loot, by using loot thats like, items using the Container rune or such, that the slimes can inhabit and use, so when the adventurers beat the slimes, they can collect the loot? Little slimes in helmets, slimes using gauntlets, that kind of thing? Giving the Slime knights and paladins their own weapons they drop if they manage to beat them and havent already gotten a bunch of loot?
Speaking of, How about this for a loot modifier:
Metal Slime's Medal: A medal offered up by the metal slime if adventurers manage to capture it rather then defeat it. increases the number of tokens gained while worn.
>>
>>1448974
Thanks.
>>1448980
I was thinking that they could cost tokens if we want to make money from the idea or we could use a Chaos and a Law rune to make one room generate a rule like attacks are slower but hit harder or half damage from lightning but 50% extra from ice.
As I need sleep could someone please suggest that we talk runes with Alex and send her into town to sue our predecessor, we want to get that dealt with on our terms not the banks. Mary can pass the time by reading up on the Red Widow and her dungeon, at some point one of us is going to attack the other.
>>
>>1449283
That is actually an item that can be won in Curi boss battles!

See the PDF at the top and search for Slimecrown Citadel Crest.
>>
>>1449290

It's not a real black market, it's a hidden shop with a black market theme.

It has some potential but I would rather not introduce it for a long while. That and I would want items from their and our store to not match. Because then it lessens incentive on our token system.
>>

i was think that it would be a place that would change the chance of certain items to pop up, we were talking about the alchemist wanting the thing? let him find the black market and spend money to increase the chance. it expensive though, and it would cause the guard captain to grow stronger, as well as guard slime's(we need these actauly) and bow slimes to become stronger.

>>
So you guys know that we're gonna get the waifu fags through the dungeon this time, right?

Heres to hoping for the Glorious Return of the Punch Mage.
>>
>>1449453
Then you'd have to say that for ever other reference that exists in this quest.

We've got a Gazer, a DQ Metal Slime, a Lily, hell, we even had Mara for abit.
Stepping onto the DIO field with an already created reference isn't even stepping on anyone's toes and keeps to the theme people cry about.
Letting me have at least one pet reference hurts nothing.
>>
>>1449464
The difference is that all those references are dungeon monsters or in general are creatures that could be found in a 'natural' setting. DIO/The World is a more...specialized/unique reference that doesn't follow the theme of 'dungeon creatures.' I'd be fine with something like, say...a reference to Yellow Temperance because if nothing else you could pass it off as some sort of mimic slime or the like. Dio is just...a bit too out there, IMO.
>>
>>1449473
Except the Slime is already a reference to DIO.
You are freaking out at that guy for trying to add a reference to a series he enjoys, but the reference already exists. It's already there, the time for bitching is long since gone, you lost you chance, so stop.
>>
>>1449473
Lily and Mara can't be found in a 'natural' setting.
And DIO/The World is specialized/unique, but it's building on a slime that already exists as a reference.
Say like the Princesses who built off the base slimes they were made from, except this one already has a reference built in, so it's just following along there instead of being Generic.
Essentially building off that existing reference as it evolves, becoming a punchy time controller.
>>
>>1449482
Freak out? I'm not as fussed over it as you seem to think I am. I was just giving my thoughts on it. I'm not going to go nuts if it happens, I just prefer it if it didn't is all.

Added some runes to the dungeon to spruce it up a bit and.....
Done.

Here's the current layout.

1. Enter the dungeon. Ms Bloops is the greeter. If treated kindly a token is awarded. If not... Bad things happen.

2. The Comfy Slime Pit. They must use a rope and leap across the pit. Any other attempts to cross the pit will result in then being thrown backwards.

3. The main room. It is from here that there are several branching paths. Also, Cleric Plant is here.

Starting from the bottom left...

4.The Cafe and Spa. Prices were already noted above.

5. A hallway with a Psion slime in it. This leads to a room where Light and Darkness slime are arguing and firing lasers everywhere. Light is trying to light the place up, dark is trying to keep it dark. The lasers are timed and there is a safe way through. Getting through that results in you meeting a bonus boss, Colt. He drops something. Haven't decided what it is yet.

6. The Armory. You can fix items here. Maybe enchant them with runes? Useful when you want to repair and not waste a powder.

7. Rosa's Study. In this, the players must mix the proper tea. Failed creations are tossed. These failed creations leak into Watcher's room and power her up. Too many failed attempts unleash her. You can also find her by taking a secret entrance past Magic Slime. After brewing the perfect tea, Rosa will reward you with her item.

Bottom right

8. Staff room and store.

9. Hallway with a gravity slime. Defeating it leads to an arena where the Paladin is ready to lay down the law as the heroes fight through waves of monsters. After defeating enough, Mirelle congratulates them and gives them her own item.

10. So You Think You Can Slime. An alternate path to Sophie's room. Leads to the slime play pen.

11. A hedge maze filled with Explodey and D.Fence. Getting past them leads to a music slime and mimic. Appease the Music Slime or battle it. Either way, you get to see Sophie who gives you her own item.

Finally, center path.

12. A fight against Lily and Reginald. Ice Elementals create a battle field that slowly erodes as time goes on. You have to win to move on to-

13. Curi. A final boss battle. Each princess's previous item helps weaken Curi in a certain way. Defeat her to win the ultimate prize.

whew

How's that?

Let's put string slimes in one of the empty hallways and cloth slimes in the other, and put a little gold ir tokens in them. Adventurers go nuts for that shit.

Colt needs a cool drop. Tokens can do in a pinch, but something unique would be best.

I'm sure Flit and Magnus are capable of running the forge.

Do we have any incentive for going over to Ruth/Simon/Paladin area?

I kind of want to do more demon making (glass horses! And o. Fence) but that can wait.

>>
>>1449542

>>1449505
Repairs and enchantments at The Armory will cost adventurers money. Repairing costs are dirt cheap but gets more expensive the more extensive the equipment damage. Like a full repair from 0% to 100% durability on a single piece of equipment would be 60 gold, while any repairs on an equipment with only light scratches will cost 3-5 gold. However the advantage is that the Armory is available anytime (provided you didn't aggro the Blacksmith and the Fire elemental powering the forge).
Enchanting stuff pricing is going to be a WIP for now.
>>
>>1449505
So is monk slime sitting this one out?
>>
>>1449547
Mirelle will be stationed there, she holds a key item that will help make the Curi boss fight easier
>>
>>1449505
Beyond this, next time we renovate, I'd like to get a Colosseum and Pens going.
As well, see if YUM! will accept the exchange of allowing us to use the YUM! Rune to give them their own boss instead of them putting the logo and interfering everywhere.
We can also use the Colosseum and Pens to add more non-slime monsters. Maybe run a thing every so often where the Pens get broken and the monsters from there rampage around the dungeon.

I'd also like to stick another Time Rune and a Fist Rune into Time Slime. Maybe even do a rotating thing with Monk Slime and play up the difference in fighting styles, with Monk Slime being traditional honorable martial arts and Time Slime being underhanded as fuck.

Colt's Item drop table

60% tokens and gold
20% Warrior's Brew (alcohol that buffs str and con)
10% Brew +Tokens
5% Slime Wanderer Armor
4% All of Above
1% Beast Slayer blade

Slime wanderer armor is designed to allow a lot of arm mobility to swing a large sword while still offering protection. It looks shabby but isn't bad.

Beast slayer blade is a blade that SUPPOSEDLY harmed the great evil in legends of the past, but it's lost a great deal of it's power. Still big huge and heavy allowing it to cleave lesser enemies in two with ease.

Which one should we go with?
>>
>>1449604
Oh hey, maybe we can get some Peasant Runes. Like the inverse of Fancy Runes or something.
>>
>>1449604
>Druid Lvl. 12, Spark Mage Lvl. 15
Those two will give us the most money.
>>
>>1449604
>Demon Lvl. 9, Marauder Lvl. 16
This pair promises fun, let's take them on
>>
>>1449604
>Druid Lvl. 12, Spark Mage Lvl. 15
>>
>>1449604
>Peasant Lvl.1

Gotta admire their confidence at least.
>>
>>1449604
>Druid Lvl. 12, Spark Mage Lvl. 15

Not sure what a spark mage is, but I love the sound of it.
>>
>>1449604
>Peasant Lvl.1
Normally I'd pick this one. But I doubt he has alot of money and he probably can't beat the dungeon.

Honestly, I wonder why he's even trying.

Mary can we look up Hero Profiles?
>>
>>1449604
>Druid Lvl. 12, Spark Mage Lvl. 15
New Runes. And high levels mean they may be able to do the bosses.
>>
>>1449604
>Demon Lvl. 9, Marauder Lvl. 16
The difference in level piques my curiosity.
>>
>Demon Lvl. 9
>Marauder Lvl. 16
>Druid Lvl. 12
spark mage is sparky, thus i do not like it.
>>
>>1449604
>Peasant Lvl.1
The 'for quick lulz' option. (Or the prestige leveling option.)

>Druid Lvl. 12, Spark Mage Lvl. 15
The 'serious business' option.

>Demon Lvl. 9, Marauder Lvl. 16
The 'probably got a trick up their sleeve' option.

I'm going to go with....
>Druid Lvl. 12, Spark Mage Lvl. 15

Remember folks, if they WIN, then they WIN.

Let's try to not directly meddle too much, huh? See how this layout goes without interference, then we'll take the results as feedback.
>>
>>1449604
>Demon Lvl. 9, Marauder Lvl. 16
Adding Druid to >>1449614
Dunno we can mix and match, so priority is to demon/marauder pair
>>
You can not mix and match. Those are three separate parties.
>>
>>1449604
Peasant Lvl.1
>>
>>1449604
>Peasant Lvl.1
I wanna see Peasant Lvl. 1. This adventurer is a complete noob, and having PR for being a Noob Friendly dungeon is good for business. Besides, our dungeon IS based around making the most of the "weakest" monster in this setting right?
>>
>>1449604
Oh Mary, can we teleport in one of the higher level teams right now, then once they're out of the main area teleport in Peasant and quickly direct him to the Spa to see what he was interested in?

We did want to allow multiple groups eventually for use of the Resort and the Dungeon at the same time.
>>
>>1449604
Druid Lvl. 12, Spark Mage Lvl. 15

The demon is an opposing dungeon trying to raid our shit.
>>
>>1449604
Peasant lvl 1.

I... I have to know what the hell the peasant class does.
>>
>>1449633
>PR for being a Noob Friendly dungeon is good for business
Kiiiinda, it can also make the rich and/or mid to high level people to ignore us completely.
>>
>>1449604
>Druid Lvl. 12, Spark Mage Lvl. 15
>>
>>1449604
I say go with Peasant, Druid and Demon. Should serve as a good test run.
I bet Peasant will end up being good at the non-violent challenges.
>>
The more I think about it, the more the Peasant intrigues me. I'm not changing my vote, but I AM wondering what his deal is.

...might just be a perv.
>>
>>1449631
so we have to take the peasant. cool
>Demon Lvl. 9, Marauder Lvl. 16
>Peasant Lvl.1
>>
Oh god you guys. The dungeon is anything but noob friendly at this point! It's more difficult than it's ever been and we don't have an Easy Mode set up.
>>
>>1449649
I dunno, that Elf Boy and his friends made it through okay.
>>
>>1449647
No, if you take the peasant, it's ONLY the peasant and no one else.
>>
>>1449647
wait never mind read it wrong fuck
Demon Lvl. 9, Marauder Lvl. 16
>>
Actually, that reminds me, yeah. This event was supposed to be fight ALONGSIDE the princesses, right?
>>
>>1449645
You cannot choose more than 1 party. The peasant is a solo party.
>>
>>1449652
What? Tali had our help, that's more than anything even high level heroes can do.
>>
>>1449604
>Druid Lvl. 12, Spark Mage Lvl. 15
>>
>>1449652
They weren't level 1! They were all powerful mages, just inexperienced in serious combat.
>>
>>1449604
>Demon Lvl. 9, Marauder Lvl. 16

Someones class is literally Demon how can I not pick that out of curiosity
>>
>>1449657
Is Lily one of the Princesses the can pick?
Is Simon?
>>
>>1449657
Yes. Which makes the Peasant all the more interesting dungeon to run.
>>
>>1449604
>Peasant Lvl.1

Haha, yes.
>>
>>1449604
>"Well, normally it would just send them to different dungeons we control
Wait, does this mean we could control dungeons at some point?
>>
>>1449668
Ms. Bloops.
>>
>>1449673
We got that answered before- yes, we could eventually control multiple dungeons. That's a LONG ways away, though.
>>
>>1449604
Demon and Marauder. Let the strong ones in first so we can calibrate the difficulty.
>>
>>1449666
I don't know, Satan. Elf Boy was pretty noodly.
>>
>>1449604
>Demon Lvl. 9, Marauder Lvl. 16
>>
Guys don't be stupid and vote for the obvious enemy dungeon raid.
>>
>>1449668
Simon should be an option. I mean we've had plenty of female customers.
>>
>>1449604
>Druid Lvl. 12, Spark Mage Lvl. 15
They seem like the sort to enjoy the dungeon's puzzles the most. The Demon and Marauder sound like they prefer the more "Rip and Tear" Dungeon.
>Peasant Lvl. 1
bet this is the fun comedy option, with some idiot somehow beating the dungeon through sheer luck
>>
When is the vote closed?
>>
Closing the vote in two minutes.

This guy right here is right, this is a raid by our dickish bitch of an enemy, she's going tos teal shit.
>>
>>1449604
>Druid Lvl. 12, Spark Mage Lvl. 15
These guys are kind of weak. I doubt they can beat Curi even with a princess's help.
>>
VOTING IS CLOSED!~

LAMB! GO DRAW UP A WAIT WARMLY PIC THAT TELLS ANONS VOTING IS CLOSED
>>
>>1449688
My concern is, if Lily and Simon are available, what do we do their bodyguards? It seems wrong to separate them, but having them would make those two OP choices.
>>
>>1449702
that's racist towards demon's.
dont be that guy.
>>
>>1449689
>>1449604
Just to be clear, I'm voting for
>Druid Lvl. 12, Spark Mage Lvl. 15

If the Peasant doesn't make it for this queue, I hope we can let the peasant in on the next run.

Well that was the point of it. I want to bully Red.

I'm going to need more than a random demand. If you'd included a funny idea like the vote box being a mimic or something and attacking Warrior, I might have gone along with it.

Votes tallied. Arting now.

"Votes are being tallied. Please wait warmly and don't bother the Watcher."
>>
>>1449734
Draw Keira as a witch doctor and Herb as a healer?
>>
So. Regarding that Peasant class... I kinda want let the peasant in and guide the adventurer through the dungeon so it can gain the Dungeon exclusive Slime-Fu Fighter Class. Make it appealing to the Lvl 1 Peasants that easy levels and and an exclusive adventurer class can be found in this dungeon only.
>>
>>1449759
I want to defeat him quick, we need to pull experienced people in.

Votes are being Tallied: Wait Warmly and keep an eye on the Basement. (Watcher is having a staring contest with Jeffrey from around the corner.

I don't know what those two things are.

Larro already got three new warmlies from me today.

I don't have a reference for the Watcher yet. Also he's done counting and Larro says I'm not allowed to draw Jeffrey anymore.

I couldn't decide a great choice for her class, and I felt it in poor taste to request too many characters.
