You are Purps. Amnesiac Starborn, Emotionally challenged badass, blessed of Minerva, Saviour of Girnnsmon, Purple Firefly. Your journey began when you woke up on a hill with a tree. It was a very nice tree. Beating up some midgets mugging an old dude, you became the old dude's bodyguard. Also those guys were rebels. After a lore dump about how you're a Starborn/Ubermensch and that there was a fucking huge civil war going on - your boss went about some errands and you crashed a religious festival which naturally resulted in a dance battle with a foxman, the Godess liked what you got so you got blessed. Neat.Your boss got arrested. You went undercover with the guard sarge you complimented to find who did the thing. You found them, beat the shit out of them, locked them up.Then a crazy cannibal priest rocked up and fucked you're new friend and you up.You died.Met a... thing?Came back. Killed the Cannibal Priest.Oh and got your boss out of jail. Thus began the journey to fix your now maimed friend's eye. You, Lexington and Hona. Three Amigos. You ran into the Captain Mayor of the town you were in on your way out. He had a smol kid named Luc. He lore dumped at you. Turned out he had to kill his wife due to this civil war.You trained his kid while he was sleeping and he was angry as hell. You made a joke and he got angrier. Then while he was smacking you around you pushed the "murdered wife" button. Your Bad.He went berserk and your boss had to go put him down while you escaped with Hona and Luc. You passed through a town of werewolves and cannibal Godess followers. Got trapped with a deviant. Got brainwashed and made to sing by a deviant. Murdered the everloving fuck out of that deviant. Died again.Came back and promptly fled that town.On the way to Tinton youremembered you used to be called Violet and you were a rabid dog on a leash... held by Hona's father. You guys did some giant diplomacy in the past before he put Violet Down. Then you had a fight with Hona. You woke the dragon sleeping beneath the waves with the power being tossed around. You broke to a new level of power and killed the dragon. At some point you dreamwalked into Fox Boy from before's dream. You helped him with some emotional baggage and fought Violet. After hitting yourself a lot, she revealed she had previously been called Laurelai and had a sizeable family living somewhere called Murillo that got murdered. Not really caring to follow that up, she didn't know more. Then she punched you in the face. In an effort to lighten the mood around camp you invented/cooked something you called "The Onesider." While dealing with being well done via dragonfire grill; you bet Hona Luc could land a hit on her in hand to hand. She accepted and you laid down stakes. So now you're sitting watching what is sure to be hilarious, whilst impatiently awaiting your pending healer. You have only been awake like eight days. Welcome Back

You managed to make yourself comfortable leaning forward while sitting on the edge of the wagon cabin bed. You are literally sitting astride two parallel magical planes. If LExington ever bothered to try and explain this shit you'd probably be very impressed and taken aback.Instead you're watching Honamurei intimidate Luc by stretching and popping all of her muscles and bones individually. Lifting her leg to her cheek in one slow sly movement she lets her bright blue eye meet Luc's icy blue."So if Luc wins we both get either lapdances, or you're wearing something revealing for the dance." You say, causing her to abruptly stop her seduction/intimidation/warmup."Haha you're on! Vhen he is squashed vithout touching me, I'll make sure your healer takes a look at him too." She says, putting a hand on her sword's hilt.Luc looks over filled with concern as they take combat stances, but you remind him, "Use your enigma. You can do this."He nods as your raise your hand despite the protests of your side and shoulder. "Ready?"Luc gives a thumbs up before keeping his fingers prepared to click.Hona just smirks in your direction. Both of them tense, coiled like snakes about to strike. You can hear the breeze in the silence, the sudden tension almost stifling to your senses."Begin." You say dropping yur hand. The world goes blue and it is with pride you note Hona on her back. I don't know vhat that vas but you are going to fight me properly.""Well I hope this kid is somethin' special. I'm only gittin paid for you." A female voice says behind you. She honestly doesn't match her drawl. Mostly white hair except for a neon pink stripe, she runs her eyes over your training exercise with a strange mix of amusement and professionalism. By her wide full hips lie two revolvers and her smile is full and warm, but you're pretty distracted by the small metal stud in her lower lip."Pleasure to meetcha, Jamie. Jamie Marlin'" She offers her hand which your gingerly shake. Your grp is still uch tighter than hers despite the wounds."Purps." You inroduce yourself simply.Luc is hefted by his wrist effortlessly, "Honamurei. PLease call me Hona." She says shaking with her left hand. "The brat is....""Luc Maddison-Remy. You offer running your hand through your hair with your good arm."Ain't that just like 'im." She sighs, "Well y'all see 'im again. Tell 'im it's been too long since we met up." She leaves the implication hanging, but it's seemingly above the others' heads."Now pop up into your wagon and I'll getcha fixed up." She says hopping into the wagon."Sure." You respond finding Honamurei, sans toddler, about to step up and follow."Don' think so birdy." Jamie says putting a hand in front of her."Ve're all Vomen here." She protests."All due respect, I dun' know you and yours. So I don know if you want her here, or if yer keen on getting your business out for yer friends here." Jamie objects as politely as she can."Hona, give Luc some fist fight sparring. Tell him no enigma." You take a deep breath before starting to undress. "No magic either just fists. Don't put holes in any buildings."You clench your teeth sliding the dress down, the movement of shoulder rubbing burned skin against burned skin and making some semi closed wounds weep.Jamie whistles appreciatively as she crosses the threshold of the wagon cabin, amazed to be in the little log living room. "Boy, y'all must be important to have somethin' lak this." She says as a compliment. "But let's see what am workin' with."When you reveal your burned back you can practically feel the atmosphere in the room change, when you get the dress to your waist and have to stop as your body just refuses to slide the garments of any further you reach out to brace yourself on the couch.[CONT]
>>1152085You stumble and are about to cry out until Jamie's hand finds your and supports you. "Quite the badass to even be awake with this." she murmurs, "Jamie's gotcha now." You feel cold liquid being poured onto your back and running down your spine, it seems to chill you to your very core and you can't help but let out a small "Ahn" as it's followed up by a wave of relaxing magic applied through a fingernail. Nothing is actually healed yet, but whatever spell this is is removing the pain. Alongside whatever potion Jamie has brewed, you find your muscles unclenching and relaxing for the first time since your incident."Now hold tight." She says as she displays surprising strength and care, tenderly leading your around the couch and allowing your other arm to brace on the armrest of it. "Th-" Your tongue feels fuzzy."Yeah you're speech will be messed up for a minute or two honey." Jamie says. She stands in front of you and you semi cover your chest in shame, but the medicine makes you sluggish. "Ain't gonna hurt you. Just need t' touch where the worst is. Can ye point that out fer me?" She asks. You comply.A fingernail grates against burned flesh but instead, the burns begin to lower. Raised skin begins to lower. Shiny burns slick with sweat and the remains of alcohol loses it's sheen and returns to it's pale almost ghostly hue.Your tongue feels less heavy, but you notice that your legs are shaking, both from their burns and lack of medicine and the fact that a lot more time has passed than you thought.Jamie begins lowering you to the couch. "I can pul that down for you or you can. Dunno how much it's wearin' off."You mutely pull the dress down past your ankles and Jamie silently pulls the fabrics over your feet and toes and leaves it neatly folded on the nearby table you ate the onesider of. But you slowly bring up your hand and do your best to ignore the feelings of a million restless spirits walking instep with you.You knock once. You knock twice. You knock thrice. The gate spits dust at you as mechanisms silently roll and the doors begin to part for you. Honamurei and Luc make to follow you, only to be stopped as the very earth shakes beneath your feet. Four feet the size of houses step forth to bar their path.Hona and Luc look to you, hands ready to draw weapons. The giant golems, each looking able to go toe to toe with the dragon you fought step out form the wall. Rubble falls from their shoulders and backs as they march.> Fight The Golems 3v2> Tell Hona and Luc to Run> Stop them somehow (How?)> Write-In

>>1159433I sorta get the feeling we're expected. Can we just tell them that? Maybe say our name, say the lady expected us.
>>1159537>>1159439Ties and not on father's day.> Runand > Command Golems to stop.
>>1159622>Command Golems to stop. They are with me!
>>1159743>>1159537>>1159439You run over to Luc and Hona calling out to the golems, "They're with me! Lady Zelam wanted to meet!" They stop, one just after it had begun to raise it's arm with showers of stone, rubble and dirt. Ancient carved eyes seem to stare at you, your gaze doesn't waver. In a standoff against two unliving ancient creatures of stone and magic - you win. They back down, retreating into their spot. Each step reverberates through the ground into your bones, but soon the wall is whole once more as the two golems reintegrate seamlessly into it. You're not sure what Zelam's deal is, but she's got some powerful bodyguards."I didn't think Golems could get that powerful." Luc says to Hona as you approach."Vhat do you mean?""You couldn't feel the magic off of them?" He replies shocked."Well, I could tell they were powerful, but I can't sense magic." You admit.Hona chirps up with, "Ve vere very nearly in for some trouble then!""Well your instinctual reaction might be tinged by a bit of magic sensing Purps." Luc ponders scratching his nose as you all head through the colossal stone gate, "golems shouldn't be that strong. There's supposed to be a limit to artificial life and souls, but that limit was pretty firmly met by Republican Artificers." He bites his lip."I'm guessing these Golems are much tougher?" Hona asks, honestly it's nice to see Luc getting so consumed in a mystery."Even The Sentinel of Sonnat isn't as mighty as those two." He realizes in a troubled tone. You're silent for the majority of that discussion, taking in Murillo. The estate is four storeys tall. Each plank of wood is rotten and withered with age. Time having mishapen the very structure of the household so that it bends inwards in the middle. The slanted roof is riddled with holes wider than boulders, each hole surrounded by singe marks and devestation. You take a step off the raised platform around the gate, eyes locked on the house. Your foot lands with a crushing crack, surprising yourself as dust dances around the air at your footfall. A small skull, shattered by your passing. The rest of the child's skeleton facing the gate. Another, adult skeleton is propped against a well. A cracked wooden plank has a femur bone embedded there. There are no signs of life, even the grass waves in the wind almost reluctantly. Lady Zelam's household is a place of death, an ancient necropolis which seems to drain the life and colour out of the environment. Luc gasps as you raise your foot and you hear Hona swear under her breath. Broken windows look down at you accusingly, ghosts whisper in resentful tones in your mind, a crushing sense of [SHAME] fills you. You whisper trying not to let the fact this used to be your home hit too hard. You can't help but feel responsible for this somehow, as if it were your hand that committed this atrocity. You fell Luc's hand take your left and hona's take your right. They both give you a reassuring squeeze. It bolsters your spirits enough to step off further into the graveyard. A garden untilled for decades lies buried in weeds and vines. Fences shattered and trambled are stepped over as you all pick your way through the corpse strewn grounds. It's then you notice a small pair of footprints in the muddy grass, leading directly to the door. You don't think they're fresh, but with the deliberate placement of her steps, you thinkg that the little girl from town comes here often. But... how would she get in?You step up onto the porch and though the wood protests it does not give, the wailing weakness of the wood follows you as every step is a creaking discordant reminder of the estate's death. The door is barely open when you smell something diiferent from the musty stale death. You smell... tea?So distracted by you're unusual smelling you lose you balance and stumble forward when the door that your hand is resitng upon is opened.A huge hand wraps around your waist and rights you in a practiced manuever, you whirl around ready to fight as Honamurei and Luc storm in after you. You all find yourself looking at a Mish-Mash of rocks and gems eight feet high and three feet wide.It blinks at you, surrounded by the decaying magesty of a luxury estate. The cobwebs and dust spinning through the air from your stumble seem to avoid him, even as the half shattered chandelier swings wildly from the vaulted ceiling.> [DETERMINATION] I'm here for Zelam> [PRIDE] I'm Purps> [CURIOSITY] What are you?> [GRATITUDE] Thanks for catching me> Write-In

>>1160298>>1160268>>1160256"I'm Purps." You say simply. It shakes it's head."I don't vink he agrees vith you Purps." Hona says with a giggle. It almost feels sacriligous for her to find any joy in this place."This feels more like a normal golem." Luc mutters just loud enough to hear."Vhere is your Lady Golem?" Honamurei asks.He points to you.Groaning your rub your eyes with your palms. "Butler, stop being a fool and let them in. please."He seems to respond well to that direction, stomping his way on protesting floors through the hallway and to the first door on the left. As opposed to every other room in this house - this parlour is well kept. Though all luxury is gone, it boasts a table, a selection of seating places, a lovely thick white blanket and several gas lighted lanterns hanging in the room. You are confused when Butler stops at the wall and slouches over, seemingly in some kind of sleep. You then notice the white blanket has a pair of ears that twitch under your inspection. It's a fox woman, like Tornin. Ancient and withered, she has become one with the padded throne in which she rests. Once bright red eyes are not tired and sunken, with all the luster of a muddy puddle. Her hands, more skeletal claws than hands in truth are crossed in her lap. Her loose rags, probably once prime fashion of her time fit snugly. With her fur brushed and maintianed, you suspect the little girl is the only reason your hostess has even survived to see this day. She looks at you, gazes locking. Tears fill Zelam's eyes for but a moment before they are blinked away, you see the ancient one's ears perk up as she tried to adopt her regal persona; but you hear one word slip out, "Mama."The room falls back into silence, there is a lump in your throat as surely as your heart beats. A heartbeat that you hear thrumming steadily with every second. Every second that feels like a week as your hands tremble, this was your home. You can't look away from her. No matter how hard you try. You can't cry either. You're numb. every bit the unfeeling creature you were when you woke up on that hill beneath that tree.> Write-In

>>1160467>>1160490>>1160829"It's good to meet you." You say with a forced smile. You have to bite your gum a little to bite back the tears, "This place is quite a mess isn't it?""It is, frightfully so. " She says, pulling herself up to her full seated height with obvious discomfort, "Poor Butler can't keep up with all the cleaning." She covers her hand like she said some scandalous joke. The golem in question shakes to life at the mention of his name and blinks for a second before stomping over to Zelam's side like a well trained dog. "At least he seems very obedient. I'm afraid my companions aren't quite so." You find yourself making the same mouth covering gesture."Vell Ve don't all follow ze glorious Starborn master race." Hona quips sticking out her tongue."I don't recall having done anything particularly bad Purps." Luc protests furiously as he clenches his fist and frowns."we are in polite company." You growl, "I can remind you later." The temperature sharply rises as you intimidate the child."Speaking of these matters, Purps. You have yet to introduce your companions." Zelam councils."This is Seargeant Honamurei, Grinnsmon's finest sword/" You gesture grandly and your friend has the manners to half bow. "This is Luc Maddison-Remy. Attendant to Captain Matthieu Maddison-Remy of Grinnsmon." Luc bows low, "It is a pleasure to meet you Lady Zelam, I am honoured by your hospitality." He finds his hair being ruffled and you stifle a chuckle at the outrage on his face. "Such a polite boy you are." Zelam coos, "And for a guardswoman you carry a certain air of class yourself Miss Honamurei.""Vell we can't all be Ladies and Lords can ve?" She offers. Zelam cackles, "Are they still calling me Lady? Like I'm some lost princess?" She practically shrieks before being racked by coughs. "Vell you vere introduced to us by that name." Honamurei says stonefaced, ever hating be the butt of a joke."Well I guess I should smack my Felicia one." She adjusts the fur aorund her ears, "But we are just dancing around the true subject aren't we, ""Purps"" She steers conversation back to you."Yes. We are."
