Previous thread: >>80902 RECAPYou are Natalya Ilyushin, a non-Girtablilu scorpiongirl. Set in Russia during WW2 where everyone is a monster girl. You were fired from your job at as a mercenary after killing your comrades in a botched mission. After wasting your days away in a pub, you decide to do some freelancing, taking odd jobs that people post on the town board. Presently, you've entered a homeless community located under an overpass to bring a hellhound, the best friend of an ogre you murdered, to a doctor. You currently have a truce, but you aren't sure she'll keep her word. CURRENT INVENTORY:20,800 rubles1 x Mosin-Nagant. All you know is that you have to meet behind the munitions factory. 50000 ruble reward. A fight club at the bar. Paid 30% of earnings from bets. How does she hold weapons?Hands inside claws
You head to the munitions factory, using the trolley as a means of transport. You speed through the area using the sidewalks, arriving at the factory in around 20 minutes. You don't notice anything out of the ordinary from the front entrance. Gun in hand, you move cautiously around to the back, eyeing the rooftop and the bushes lining the side. You don't see anything, but a very strong metallic smell fills your sinuses, and you hear buzzing, like it's coming from a horde of flies. You turn the corner. The ground and walls stained with blood, the grass no longer green, the walls no longer cement grey, but now both red-brown from blood that hasn't fully oxidized yet. Roll d100 to not gag and vomit.
Rolled 92 (1d100)>>111275Also we really need to load a magazine into our rifle already.

>>111417This, I have a test in 30 mins and then ill be around for hours
>>111275You keep your cool. This might be a bit much but nothing you haven't experienced before. you have the presence of mind to remember to load your rifle. The sound of the rounds getting loaded into the internal magazine and the stripper clip pinging as it falls off makes you realise how eerily quiet it was before. You hear a grunt and some movement from the fair end of the building. Looks like the noise attracted some unwanted attention.A Centaur appears, hide slick and dripping with blood. She roars and starts charging at you.Roll a d100.

>>111461>>111433You take aim and fire a shot. Immediately you lose sense of the world, your vision blurs and you can't hear anything. As you regain your senses, you're rag dolled by the sliding body of the centaur, sending both of you into the wall. Thanks to the carapace on your head, the impact doesn't jar you as much as it should have. Only able to hear high pitch ringing, and your vision still slightly blurry you fight to get the centaur off you, but she doesn't seem to be keen on the idea. You kick, you push and you roll around, trying to fight of this centaur.Eventually you fight yourself free, staggering a bit as you stand up. You ready your stinger, poised to strike. Except, the centaur doesn't move. Cautiously you approach, tentatively prodding her with your stinger, trying to elicit a reaction. Nothing happening, you roll her body over and find the bullets' entry wound, entering and exiting her neck. the blood still flows.Covered in mud and alot of blood, you take some time to fully regain your senses. What do you do now?
>>111494Ah, the throat, the most vulnerable region of a humanoid body. I suppose we should search the body for clues. If that fails to turn up anything, start searching the area for anything of note.
>>111494Look around to check if she has friends waiting in ambush, if not then quickly loot the centaur and maybe check on her pulse to see if she is still alive.
>>111494You spin around, tail lashing out. You grievously wound the air. No one has come to aid this centaur, but you are still wary. You approach the area where the centaur emerged from, walking close to the building, stinger at the ready. Nearing the corner, you take a deep breath and cross it.Roll a d100

You swallow it and try your best to take in the scene.A veritable pile of bodies mutilated beyond recognition, swarms of flies feasting on the flesh. You close your eyes and look away, nothing in your years of experience could have prepared you for this. You take some time to collect yourself.Opening your eyes, it seems to you that the centaur was in the middle of loading the bodies into a van.You cannot fathom what transporting these bodies would achieve.Roll another d100, do you still manage to keep your cool?

>>111560You've had enough vomiting for today. You pick your gun back up and look in the back of the van, amidst the bodies, haphazardly thrown around, you find a double-handed sword, guess you found the murder weapons. You trudge past the bodies, flies flying into every orifice they can find, to the front of the van, you search the driver and passenger area. You find the keys in the ignition and a note. it reads, "More will come, be patient." How odd.Moving back to the centaur, you search her body for anything useful. You find a single pill in a pill bottle and nothing else. Frustrated that you can't find any clues, you start thinking what this could all mean.Wait a minute, you didn't search the pile of bodies.
Rolled 41 (1d100)>>111599Search the pile of dead bodies
>>111609You walk back to the pile of bodies, maybe there's one of them has something that might be a clue. You move one of the bodies. it squelches and slides onto the ground. The sound sends a shiver down your spine. moving the body releases a a smell so terrible and noxious you vomit on the spot. A mixture of the metallic smell of blood, fecal matter, urine and sweat, you run back to the centaur to escape the smell. The smell lingers within your nasal cavities. You vomit again. Searching the pile of bodies won't be happening. What do you do now?
>>111647Yeah, that fairy's gonna be pissed once she finds out we ruined her operation here. Let's steal the van and fuck off back to town.
>>111683You think that having a van would be better transport than that trolley. But you're not sure you have to mental fortitude to go back to that area, the stench most likely still lingers there. Plus, how are you going to drive around town with a bloody van with bodies in the back?
>>111683Let's alert Eva and also loot the centaur.
>>111707take the pill, dump bodies out of van. Laugh manically
>>111772Let's consult with a doctor for the pills
so what're we doin? taking the pill seems agreed upon, but are we going crazy or going back to Eva
>>111814I say we put the pill bottles in our inventory along with anything we can loot from the centaur and go back to Eva on our trolley and discuss what to do with the fairy.

>>111974You exit the way you came, leaving the bodies and the trolley behind. You look around for people before quickly running over to the nearest house. As you approach, it looks like the windows and doors are boarded up. You stalk the perimeter of the house, still wary of others. You find a window where the boards are broken, making for fairly easy access to the house. Looters must have gotten here first. The house is dusty, appropriate, seeing as its been abandoned. You find the bathroom and hope to god the water system is still active. You turn on the tap. You rejoice! Water flows. You find something to plug the sink and start collecting the water. Slowly but surely you manage to clean your body of the blood, and you get the worst of the stains out of your clothing. You squeeze the clothing dry and let it hang off the sink. You turn around.Standing in the doorway is an Elf, no older than 12.She gives you a shy wave. What do you do?And that's all for tonight, thank's for reading and participating!

>>114324Placate her with a lie and money.

>>115148>>115137A thought enters your head, maybe you both could benefit from this meeting. You offer to feed her, in exchange for letting you stay in this house. You continue to look at each other.Slowly and softly, she tells you that this isn't her house, she just heard some noise and went to check it out. She looks to the ground and tells you, softer than before almost to the point of inaudibility, that she wouldn't mind some food.
>>115219Eh, why not. Just make her promise not to tell anyone about this and we buy her some food.
>>115253Sounds good, maybe after this we could introduce her to Eva's group of hobos, I beat she could use a safety net.

You pick up a 500ml bottle of milk, some yogurt and two prepackaged sanwiches, one for you and one for her. You go to pay and the cashier looks mildly annoyed that you disturbed her. 330 rubles poorer, you exit the store and head back to the house. On the way back you hear some scraping and shuffling. >>115432>>115414Again you turn around, this time however you manage to catch your stalker. Your muscles relax as you lock eyes with that little elf girl. you beckon for her to come over and she does. You offer your hand to hold, delicately she holds it. She eyes the plastic bag containing the food but she doesn't make a move for it. She mentions that she doesn't like being alone. You both walk back to the house peacefully. You let her crawl through the windows first. You pull up two chairs and a table, dust them off and invite her to sit. You sit opposite her and pass her the milk, yogurt and sandwich. She whispers a thank you and carefully consumes her food., taking small bits of a sandwich here and there, a sip of milk every now and then. You finish your sandwich in about three bites. She finishes her food and offers you a smile, with both her mouth and eyes. She thanks you.You ask her if she has anyone else, like parents or siblings. Her face turns neutral, tinged with melancholy. She tells you that she can't remember her parents, the only thing she can remember were a pair of Blue Onis that took care of her, but when the war started they abandoned her. She's been alone for about half a year, surviving off scraps she finds in bins. You have both finished your food.
>>115517Hm. I'd like to informally adopt this girl, but we ain't in the best of circumstances to do so, I feel.

I have to say that I admire OP for sticking with the WW2 Monster Girls in Russia, ridiculous yeah but excellent work.Hug the girl, claim the price for the centaur and fuck bitches
>>115554>>115538awww thanks guysbut what're we doing now? Adopting her, bringing her back to Eva?>>115554hugging her is nice, but what's this about claiming the price for the centaur?
>>115565Perhaps the fairy wanted us to assassinate the centaur or it was a blind man's letter scenario. We should think about revenge against the fairy.
>>115565Take her back to Eva, we're leaving town in the morning so we're not going to be around all that much. Plus we need to sort out this mess with the Fairy and the Centaur.First, we need some wheels, either our glorious cart or the van if the pile of corpses can be removed. Then let's bring elfkid back to Eva's camp and get the doc to stitch us up a bit. Then spend the night sharing vodka and telling Eva about what happened.
>>115565So there isn't a 50k Rubles reward for the time-sensitive job behind the abandoned munition factory? Maybe we should have checked the working munition factory...Also hug the girl again because we can.
>>115598lets just ret con and say that the fairy specified this specific munitions factory.
>>115578could you elaborate on what a blinds man letter scenario is?
>>115607Basically blind man asks a woman to deliver a letter to somewhere, and the place turns out to be a trap to murder people sent there for meat.
>>115621That does seem to be exactly what we walked into, isn't it. We should get the doctor at Eva's camp to tell us what sort of pills we found on the centaur were.
>>115517You stand up out of your chair and give her a hug. She reciprocates. You tell her that you know of a whole community of people like her. You tell her you have a friend there that will take care of her.She looks unsure as she partially breaks away from the hug. How do you go about trying to persuade her to come with you to the overpass?
>>115632With food.Or by force.
>>115632"There'll be someone to take care of you."
>>115632You don't, ask her to take it or leave it.
>>115658>>115643you guys are mean.we should still reach an agreement on what to do.
>>115645We got a lot of options with this girl.We could adopt her and leave behind our lives as mercenaries. We could train her, because elfs are natural good with longbows (therefore she could make a great marksmen)We could just dump her at hobo camp and carry on.We could not take her to hobo camp, give her some Rubles and wish her luck.We could sell her to an underground elf sex trader. They would pay big bucks for a virgin orphan elf girl.Or we could put a bullet in her brain to stop the suffering of losing her two blue onis and give her a proper life in heaven.
>>115663I'm voting for hobo camp and telling her she'll have a home and family.
>>115663>last two options
>>115663We could use her as meat shield, taking the heat off us during missions
>>115663Hobo camp, ours is a life of blood and war, certainly not safe for a child. We can still visit her there and bug Eva while we're at it. >>115670Not saying I'd vote for it, but it's not rape if it's an elf!
I'm between hobocamp and training her.Or maybe we could pay a marksmen/martial arts master to train her. I'm insisting on the natural warrior abilities of elfs. Or maybe healing ones. It would a great idea to have a healer in our party.also elf girls are C U T E
>>115690this is just an alt ww2 where everyones a monster girl, no healing or magiks and stuff.
>>115692Well, maybe not healing as in magical healing powers, but as a natural gift to how to heal and treat injuries and stuff. Just like in REAL LIFE where some people tend to be better than others in things. Also I was considering that just like that some monster girls are better than other monster girls in some other stuffs. Like Birdgirls being good at flying planes, or Monkey girls being good at gorilla warfare or just dumbshit like that. And thats why I was considering training the elfgirl.
>>115704oh, yeah in that case thats cool. so we have a fair amount of suggestions which is good, but no agreement yet,
>>115690I say we drop her off at the hobocamp and train her in between missions. That way she get's looked after by a community while we get to go off and do actual mercenary things.
>>115709All say hobo camp:>>115713>>115678>>115666>>115658>>115644We can train her between missions or just drop that for peace sake. >4chan in charge of taking care of a little girlAlso we need to get our cart back, reload (probably) deal with the fairy, help our other injured friend, guard some missiles, get money, fight people and found peace in ourselves. Also the little grill doesn't have a name yet.
>>115725well yeah but that was before your whole list of options. gimme some time then.
>>115728Being honest wasn't expecting anyone to take that laundry list completely serious. Especially the last two options. Also, end the bread with a recap of facts.
>>115632You pull her back into the hug and tell her that she won't go hungry if she stays at the camp, telling her that your friend, Eva, and the good doctor will look after her. She whispers into your shoulder, "OK, I'll go."You exit through the window again and...How do you get back to the camp?

You tell her to brace herself. You take off, starting at a walking pace, slowly increasing to jogging before full on running. She squeals in delight as you race through the streets, narrowly avoiding pot holes here and there. The wind and the sound of the wheels rolling over the road is quite noisy, but she doesn't seem to care. Her hair flies around as she opens her mouth to catch the wind. You slow down as you see the camp, the gravel and dirt doesn't isn't suitable for HIGH SPEED. You stop where the road ends. You take some time to catch your breath as the elf girl collects herself. She looks exhilarated. She hugs you around the waist and tells you that that was amazing, she's never experienced anything like that in her life! You notice that she's breathing hard as well. You notice that you don't know her name yet. You ask her for her name, while introducing yourself. She tells you that the Blue Onis named her Katya. You notice that Eva isn't here anymore. You introduce Ludya to Katya, telling her the story of how you two came to meet. Ludya smiles sadly and tells Katya that everything will be better now. Katya smiles back. You ask Ludya if the offer to patch you up still stands. She smiles and says yes, she would be more than happy to help a friend of Eva.She disinfects the various scrapes, cuts and scratches that you have, applying gauze and medical dressing to cover them up. She also applies some sort of cream to your bruises. After being tended to, Ludya examines Katya for anything wrong. Aside from a mild case of malnutrition , she seems to be in good health. Satisfied that you are both tended to, Ludya asks Katya if she would wait outside for a while. Katya looks at you, waiting for your input. You tell her it's OK, you were going to ask her to do the same actually. >>117483>>117415>>117309You decide that seeing Eva can wait a while. Having the van as a mode of transport will be a big increase over your trolley. Though it has served you admirable, it is time for an upgrade. Shovel in your left hand you.. oh yeah, Katya is still holding your right hand. You ask around for Eva's location and eventually you make it to her little corrugated iron home. Her arms have been righted, with splints attached. She looks slightly drowsy, they might have given her some drugs for the pain. Her nose immediately crinkles as she smells you, no doubt able to pick up on the finer scents that are on you. You introduce her to Katya and vice versa. Eva tells you that she hasn't said anything incriminating you. You thank her, but warn her that Ludya is starting to get suspicious. Eva looks at you judgmentally as you tell her that you messed up the story. She asks you what you the job was and if you got the money,Do you tell Eva what happened?
>>117680suddenly everyone in the USSR starts using Fahrenheit to measure temperature, but only for water. At least the hobos are hot.
>>117685Eva deserves to know that she could have ended in a pile of bodies. Effectively we saved her life twice. Tell her our current plan of stealing the van for ourselves. Or for the hobocamp! Also make Katya gain Eva trust. Katya could be Eva's arms in the meantime.
>>117685>She asks you what you the job wastsk tsk tsk. Also:>Tell her what happened on the job, but not what the package was.
>>117765There was a package? also whats wrong with asking what the job was lol
>>11772738C is a pleasant warm shower. I could have boiled everyone with a 60+ roll.Isn't 38F freezing or something?Or disregard the units and just take it as a roll for water temperature.
>>117779ooooh, i thought you mean a roll for celcius to be the standard for measuring water. oops.
>>117774>She asks you what you the job was>what you the job was>what the job was

>>117843i didnt even realise it was a grammar thing, feel free to correct me lol but i thought it was something related to the story. also whats wrong with "what the job was"
>>117857The second roll was for the hotness of the hobo girls in the showers. We getting almost 7/10 girls. >>117864Silly comrade, the van belongs to the motherland. >>117789Guess I worded it wrong. Still for a shower temperature roll, 38 is not that great.
>>117685You tell Eva what happened back at the munitions factory. You tell her about how the blood soaked the ground and stained the walls, how the hordes of flies filled the air with a perpetual buzzing sound and you describe the smell, faeces and urine intermingling with the festering scent of viscera. Eva looks horrified as she tries to imagine the scene.Lastly you tell her about the centaur that was loading the bodies into a van, and how you killed her with a shot to the neck. She asks if she should thank you for breaking her arms.Roll for sarcasm.also i'm going to bed now

>>118036>>118046You tell her that yes, she should thank you. you did effectively save her life twice now.She chortles and expresses her gratitude to you breaking both her arms. You tell her that you intend you retrieve the van and that Katya should stay here, that area is not fit for anybody, let along a small child. She agrees to take care of her until you return. You thank her and tell Katya to get to know Eva better as you head off to see to something. She says no, she overhead your plan and wants to come along.Dammit, you didn't make sure couldn't hear. She tells you that she knows what happened, She hid behind a window as she watched all these people start streaming into the back of the munitions factory. She heard the screams and the silence that followed. She's quite adamant that she wants to go.Roll along with how you want to handle this.please nothing like chaining her up
Rolled 25 (1d100)>>120912Tell her that if she plans on living with others, she must learn to compromise with them. That charnel house is no place for a young child, she must stay here.
>>120976>>120912You tell her that compromise is an integral part of living in a community, a series of gives and takes, that doing something just because you want to isn't always the the best thing to do. You tell her that she cannot imagine what is behind that munitions factory. She overhead what you told Eva, she knows what you saw and smelled, you say that it is not a place fit for a child. Inwardly, you're unsure if even you could handle it. She stubbornly shakes her head, tells you that she wants to stick with you, doesn't want to leave your side. She hugs your waist tightly.Fuck. You look at Eva, eyes pleading for help.Roll a d100
Rolled 100 (1d100)>>121481Maybe we could convince her that she needs to stay to help Eva out. Gotta help your friends out when they're in need if you want them to do the same.
>>121583>>121598Holy tits, did we just teach the little an important life long lesson?
>>121607Katya becomes a ninja
>>121583>>121481You see a twinkle in Eva's eye as an idea forms in her head. Eva re-iterates the points you made and adds that knowing when be stead fast and when to yield is a very important skill to have in life. Eva tells her that she should listen to and trust you.Silence reigns as Katya thinks hard about what Eva says. She nods her head and says, "Ok, i'll stay here with Eva. Come back quick."You smile and tell her you will. Eva tells her that if she wants to follow you everywhere, she needs to learn how to handle herself on the streets. She offers to teach her how to fight, along with the more nuanced and subtle things that one needs to know, maybe teach her how to handle a knife or something. What do you say? Do you want a mini-me?
>>121691"yeah whatever" you grumble. You smirk to yourself as you walk off.You know that the munitions factory is only for you.A sickening delight in this delicious world. You think about the van. No, You fantasise about said vanYou grip the shovel and make your way down to the mentions factory.
>>121817everytime you post
>>121839You know you love my contributions. Sometimes sensible sometimes about a van
>>121691Pat her head and tell her she'll be safe here.
>>121817>>121691You're not sure you like the idea of such a young child being introduced to this part of the world but you agree that it would be good for her to learn. Katya seems excited about this. You give them the OK. Katya throws her arms up in the air and Eva flashes you a smile. She assures you that she'll take things slow and steady. You leave with your shovel and mosin-nagant. You find some scraps of cloth on the ground and attach it to the gun, you side sling it.Half way to the munitions factory, you realise that you are walking and not rolling. Dammit you forgot the trolley. You reach the trolley and you find that everything is as you left it, the blood has fully oxidised now, walls now brown and the centaurs blood congealed into a jelly like substance. And you see the van, the bodies still there, festering. Roll another d100 for fortitude.
Rolled 22 (1d100)>>121884I wonder how much exposure to the rotting dead we will need to endure to not throw up in close proximity to them.

Rolled 86 (1d100)>>121949Rolls are fun. Dont take it away from us.Rolling for fortitude. Also QM post our current stats.
>>121951looks like we dont need to. But if i call for a roll and you find a way to circumvent it i'm more than happy to accept that if its reasonable.Currently we have:20,470 RublesA Mosin_Nagant with a sling made of tattered cloth, loaded with 4 rounds. No scope.9 x 5 round stripper clips1 x leafelet for a cage fight1 x locket containing striking blue hair (fuck i forgot about this)1 x Brown leather waller (fuck i forgot about this to)1 x ShovelDon't worry ill work the locket and wallet into the story
>>121959Maybe we should return Eva her wallet and the locket. But after we recover the van. And make it look like a Dekotora truckEven if the hair belongs to the Blue Oni that hired us to kill the ogre. She's not a threat anymore with 2 broken arms and she's now our friend/Ally/babysitter.
>>121966yeah, makes more sense at this point to just give it back, it's certainly more useful to Eva than us. What do we need a wallet for when can easily carry over 20,000 roubles in our chitinous pockets?
>>121951>>121884You take a deep breath and calm yourself. You walk towards the van and the smell is alot less than what it was before. The corpses seem to be on the verge of freezing solid, the cold must have inhibited the smell. You work fast, wary of any unwanted attention. You shovel the stiff bodies out of the van, picking up small parts out of the nooks and crannies of the van.Cool, you got the bodies out, now that leaves the blood.
>>121988Okay OP, how much blood is there on the outside of the van? If there isn't any there we can just drive to somewhere with running water and bleach.
>>121973Fine. So let's stance this motherfucker.>>121988Since Unibody vans were only used by the capitalist pigs in America, we think that dropping the entire vanbox would be the best idea and drive around only with a cabin and the empty frame. That could have saved us the time to clean the van tho.
>>121998the entire inside and back doors are covered in blood.
>>122001oooooh, that van looks alot more authentic than the one i was planning on using. This is how the van looks.
>>122003so no doors than, just the back, mud flaps and stuff.
>>122006Well, I know about trucks. Dodge, Ford, Chevrolet and Citroen (Maybe I'm missing a few but it's 3 am) used a body on frame Unibody (where the floor of the cabin is shared with the cargo. Think of a modern Econoline or trucks like that.)But Russians in the other hand, were making trucks that looked like this. Because cheaper and easier to reuse them. Just swap the back and presto.
Maybe we all were picturing a van like this. But these are American made or only found in the Western front.
>>122013Authenticity! thanks for telling me, i was imagining like a fedex van or something i dunno why.
>>122010All we need to do then is cover up the back entrance or otherwise any surface actually covered in blood. With that being the case we could just take the canvas over the flatbed down and use it to cover up any bloodstains on the floor. That way it won't look like the inside of Samuel Jackson's car after Marvin got shot in the face, and we can drive it somewhere to conveniently wash the bloodstains away in private.
>>122021We can go to the camp get some metal buckets. Then we heat the water and pour it on the blood get water from girls house or camp
>>122028Bro, have you ever tried to wash blood out of or off of anything? Shit stains harder than red wine.
>>122028>>122026>>121988You untie the tarp from the back and use it to cover up a majority of the stains, tying it to various hooks and metal bars. You fold and tuck the corners of the tarp that's bloody. you notice that the khaki colour of the tarp and the oxidised blood don't look like anything more than stains that one might resonably accrue when moving out in the field. Satisfied that the tarp won't budge, you enter the drivers compartment and turn the key in the ignition. It roars to life! You take off down the road back to the camp, maybe you could get some water heated up and wash the blood away. As you drive down the street, wind blowing through your hair as you roll the windows down, you genuinely feel happy. Until you lock eyes with a fairy walking towards theThe same fairy that looked upon your crumpled body lying in the middle of the road and did nothing. She stops and turns her head to look at you impassively. You hope nothing comes of this. You return back to the camp and everyone looks at you. Olga walks up to you and remarks that she likes your ride. She looks down the back and raises an eyebrow. You tell her not to ask questions. You drive the truck into camp and park it in an empty space. Ludya approaches you and you ask her if it would be possible for you to acquire some buckets to to heat some water in, so you could wash the blood off.She tells you that it isn't so easy to wash blood off, you need special chemicals to get rid of the stains. She offers to take the vehicle off your hands for a while and wash it for you, telling you that you can check up on Eva and Katya in the meanwhile.
>>122071I was picturing we would run down the fairy with our truck just like in Pulp Fiction. Oh well, missed opportunity.Check Eva and Katya. Return Wallet and smile at the small, broken, and weird family you got now.
>>122071>>122083Also BATH TIME.
>>122083I was imagining that the truck would be going too fast for you to stop. in my head i was thinking that you lock eyes for a second, and before you could react you're already zooming past.
>>122071Isn't the blood frozen? Also the blood is on bare metal. Surely will come off.
>>122071>Dat picTee fucking hee OP, let's hand back Eva's stuff and spend some time telling about our new ride and getting to know her. Maybe over some vodka, like true daughters of the motherland.
>>122071Why do we want that particular van anyway? That shit is gonna get us in trouble.
>>122086>>122083>>122071You smile and thank her, you swap places and she drives the van off.You walk to Eva's shack and find Katya sitting on the floor while Eva lectures her on various things. Katya jumps up and gives you a hug as you enter. Eva welcomes you back and nonchalantly asks for her locket and wallet back. You forgot you were carrying them around. You immediately hand them to her, adding that you didn't even check the contents of the wallet. She pockets the wallet and wears the locket. She thanks you.Katya excitedly tells you the lessons she learned from Eva, how to approach a fight, how to deal with people and things of that nature. You're unsure if it's a good thing that she's so enthusiastic about this, what happened to the innocence of childhood? You sit down with Katya on the floor and tell them about the truck you got. Eva seems impressed, she complements you on the acquisition. Katya whoops. You mention that Ludya's washing it at the moment, to get rid of the blood. Katya leans on you and immediately remarks that you still stink. Your eyes widen in surprise as you remember that you still need to shower. You ask Eva where the showers are. She gives you a weird smile and gives you directions. Before you leave she hands you a bucket, some matches and some rags. You take your small bar of soap and make your way to the showers and find that it's a small corrugated metal building with various bags hoisted up unto a metal bar. There's a hose and a metal bin filled with wood in the corner, there are metal bars placed on the bin.Guess it's time to get to work. You fill the metal bucket with water and light the wood. It takes a few matches. You place the bucket on the bars and wait for the water to heat up. Once it reaches a comfortable temperature, you empty the bucket into a bag and repeat the process. You take your clothes off and place them in the bucket. The warm water feels heavenly when contrasted with the cold weather. You soap up and wash every single part of your body to get rid of the blood stains and smell. Finishing up you dry yourself by the fire and put your clothes back on.What do you decide to do now?
>>122199i dunno man ask Legionnaire.
>>122209Plot revenge against the fairy with Eva?
>>122209What time of the day is it? How much more can we get done before we must sleep to make it to that convoy mission we signed up for?

>>122225I can get behind this. I want to know what the hell they needed all those corpses for and if anyone is going to come after us.
>>122231Can we visit the Armory or something, I want something better to protect us and our cracked carapace won't be good at protecting us at any rate.
>>122241This is WWII era USSR with monstergirls. Pretty sure the limit of body armor back then was a thick fur coat to ward off the biting chill of winter.
>>122251>>122241yeah, when i initially mentioned kevlar and stab proof vests in one of my posts i didn't take into account historical accuracy. Doing some light research i found that most WW2 soldiers were not equipped with any body armour at all. wikipedia mentions a https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steel_Bib
>>122254Oh yeah, I forgot about the armor choices in the first thread. And disregard my talk about historical accuracy man, this is your quest, you run it how you want to. I know you certainly never planned on glorious soviet monstergirl quest.
>>122254>>122251Aww, the best stuff we can probably get is some kind of plate armor. Not really that ideal I guess.

>>122299There is no one in the bathhouse. pls no lewdness mister
>>122306All those good rolls for nothing. RIP in peace, rolls. It doesn't have to be lewd, just make the hobo camp alive to see if we could find new allies or quests here. If it's big enough to have a make shift hospital, maybe we have more posts interesting characters. Also, pic related. >>122305Well, for being a COLD BLOODED ASSASSIN in WW2 that MURDERED HER OWN COWORKERS, I thought we (she?) Could have a bit more of endurance during the war effort. Yeah, dead bodies are fucking gross, but it's probably not the first time we have seen something like this. (Even if we puked)
>>122320It wasn't so much that we saw some people who happened to be dead, we saw mangled fucking piles of human (or monster) meat so rank they may as well have been laying in the desert sun for 2 days. The smell alone coming off of that pool of gore and viscera that used to be people was what as so overwhelming, the sight of the flies crawling through every orifice and their maggot spawn gorging themselves on the rotting flesh and shit from their exposed bowels simply contributed to the disgust. That's a wee bit different from seeing a fresh corpse still intact aside from a bullet wound the size of a quarter, you know?
>>122320we weren't really an assasin as more of a contract killer, go solo to kill a single target or in a team to wipe out some mafia. also sure, ill make an effort to make the town seem alive.
>>122353Don't want to disparage your quest so far, but injecting a bit of life into the scenery is always a good thing if you want to draw your playerbase in, I find.
I think it might be too jarring of a writing style change if i add more information. i contemplate it with every post but i don't want them to be too long, lest they bore the reader. maybe when we go to Tskov i can try it out.>>122209>>122225You head back to Eva's shacks, you don't notice that many people around except for some individuals, garbed in thick clothing, standing around barrel fires, warming their hands and chatting, probably inside their individual shacks, makeshift doors closed. You enter to find Eva teaching Katya more lessons. She crawls under your arms to sit on your lap as you sit cross-legged on the cloth Eva uses as a makeshift flooring. Katya gives you a big sniff and tells you that you smell great. You lace your arms around her stomach and ...Get interrupted by the ringing of a bell. Eva gets up and tells you that that means dinner is ready. She picks up a wooden bowl and spoon off the floor and tells you to follow her. You find streams of people all heading the same direction, you did not anticipate this many people being here. You estimate maybe 150 to 200 people. You hold Katya's shoulders, keeping her in front of you as Eva leads you onward. You bump into people as you walk, some say sorry, other's tell you to watch your step., but the majority don't even take notice. The lighting gets better as you get closer to the kitchen, the torches closer together as opposed to the big spaces they had before. You notice a line is starting to form and Eva hurriedly tries to get as close to the front as she can. As you walk faster, a fight breaks out at the front. Before it can escalate Ludya's voice cuts through the night, stopping the fight and murmurs of disapproval. She loudly announces that no fighting will be tolerated in this camp, she orders everyone to queue up in a single file or else dinner will be cancelled. The line straightens. Hands still on Katya you shuffle forward. You hear some shouts as the first girls start to get served, you can barely make it out but it sounds like something about a lack of meat. Ludyas voice silences them. After some time you reach the front of the line. Eva steps to one side to let Katya go first. she offers you an apologetic smile. You hand the cat-girl serving the food Eva's bowl and she pours what looks like an attempt at mushroom solyanka, a thick, spicy and sour soup made with butter, vinegar, tomatoes, cucumber pickles, and some brine. A bun accompanies the soup. You ask her for two bowls and spoons, as you're new and don't have any. She smiles and obliges, handing you two more bowls, soup and bread included. The steam warms your face as you head back to Eva's shack and sit in a triangle. Katya digs into her meal, ravenous.fucking word limit
>>122516You move closer to Eva and feed her. She seems embarrassed and ashamed that this is happening but you continue feeding her anyway. Once she's done eating, you start on yours, its lukewarm now. Still, it's filling and a good attempt considering the amount of people they have to serve. You stack the bowls into a corner and relax with your ragtag group. After some idle chatting about the day, you change the topic to the fairy. You mention that she's the one that was going to get her killed. You should plot your revenge. Eva looks at Katya and asks if she should be around for this. She smacks her hand against her lap and proclaims that she's staying. What say you?
>>122516>>122534I think the change is fitting the more we advance with the quest. Also your style is really comfy to read and I don't mind walls of text. (Also my ID is changing)Katya can plot. But the execution is only ours. She's a witness and knows more about the centaur than us. She's only <12 but maybe with her description we could work out what the fairy is plotting with all those dead bodies.
>>122576don't even know what my writing style is but thanks anon :3 also what description would that be?
>>122632Description of the facts.Since she was squatting at the near house, she saw the centaur and the fairy (or with someone else) parking near the factory. Then she saw how people went but never came back. (Describe the people going)or something along those lines
>>122657>>122534You can't bring yourself to send Katya away, you can't think of anywhere she could go to at this time of the night anyway. Eva lights a lamp and places it in the middle of the triangle and brings out some thick blankets. She drapes one over Katya and hands one to you. You wrap it around yourself. comfy level=∞[spoiiler]You start discussing ways to exact revenge by laying out what you know of the fairy. 1) She stays at 89 GROTZKA AVENUE2) Her skin had a grey tinge to it, her clothes simple and modest.3) Lures people with the promise of money only to have them slaughtered. As a group, you try your best to think of more but you soon realise that you know very little of this fairy. You ask Katya about what she saw at the munitions factory. She creases her brow as she tries to remember. She saw a truck arrive in the morning and disappear to the back of the munitions factory and after some time, she noticed a lot of girls start appearing, all moving to the back of the munitions factory. Some more time passed and when people stopped coming, the screaming started. She says you arrived around 30 minutes after the screams stopped. Katya looks slightly distraught as she recalls the memories. You shuffle over and hold her in your arms. You ask her what the girls looked like. She says that they didn't look out of the ordinary, just normal citizens. Some looked better armed, carrying guns or various melee weapons, pipes and hammers and whatnot. Not much useful information there, you frown as you continue to think.Eva, frustrated at the lack of progress, says that we should just go to her house tomorrow and deal with her there. What do you say?
>>122849i fucked up
>>122849Tell her that the fairy saw us while driving the van.We should also think about changing our appearance.
>>122951You tell them that as you were driving back here with the van, you saw the fairy walking towards the munitions factory and that she saw you driving the van. Eva looks concerned, she suggests that you change your appearance to avoid any unwanted attention. You agree with her and keep the thought in the back of your head please remind me of this.Katya stretches her arms and yawns, it's getting late. You decide to call it a night. Eva shifts what little furniture she has to make room for the both of you. Katya looks at you, unsure.Do you sleep here or in that one house near the munitions factory?
>>123030why does it keep dong this fuck me, im going to bed now.
>>123030Definitely sleep in the camp. We could be attacked in the house. Also, black hime cut and business suit for appearance change
>>123030Yeah it's probably a lot safer to crash her than at that abandoned house near the factory.
>>123030>>123638You tell her to that it isn't safe there, she nods her head. Eva gets her bed, of course, while you lay one blanket on the floor as a sort of mattress and use the other to cover yourself. There isn't much room so you and Katya have to sleep pretty close together. She doesn't seem to mind, you don't either. This has been a tiring day, you fall asleep quickly. You wake to up to some noises outside, mostly people talking and laughing. Eva is still fast asleep by your side, her breath warm on your shoulder. You try and move to get out of bed, but you can't without waking her up.How do you do this?
>>125432Cuddle Eva. Fuck getting out.
>>125805Fuck i typed Eva, i meant Katya
>>125834Then wake her up. Its probably breakfast time and we have a malnourished elfkid that needs food.
>>125432>>125955You nudge Katya a few times to wake her up, each nudge slightly more forceful than the next. She wakes up bleary eyed, looking around as if to remember where she is. She rubs here eyes and asks you what time it is.You regret not buying a watch and offer her the best answer you can give, that it is breakfast time. You wake Eva up as well. She opens her eyes and immediately scrunches them up as she looks directly into a shaft light shining through one of the gaps in the house. She wiggles under her blanket and tells you to go away. You ask her when breakfast is. Through great effort and force of will, Eva responds, her voice muffled by the blanket. She tells you they don't serve breakfast here, only dinner where it's too dangerous to go out at night. She adds that unless you want to go searching bins for scraps of food, there is universal store that the people in this camp patroniar. Those with money anyway. She tells you to ask someone outside for directions.
>>126217Time to go get some chow, and pick up some food for Eva too. Bitches love breakfast in bed.
>>126217You bring Katya outside and look around for a friendly face you can ask for directions. You see alot of girls and women by barrel fires, laughing and chatting. In a clearing there's a group of children playing soccer with a deflated basketball and some others zipping around the camp, presumably playing tag. Morale seems high in this camp. The general mood of the camp perks Katya up, no longer fighting to keep her eyes open. She looks around exitedly. You see an elderly dog-girl sitting in a rocking chair, watching the various activies in the camp. She looks like a typical baboushka, headscarf tied under the chin with a shawl draped over her legs. You approach her and she looks at you and smiles warmly. She offers you a hand as she introduces herself as Anya. You shake it as you introduce yourself and Katya. She tussles Katya's hair and asks what two young girls would be doing talking to an old lady like her.You tell her that you know of a universal store near here, but you lack directions. She cuts you off before you can continue. Her face serious now, no longer the kind facade of a carefree grandmother. She tells you that you shouldn't go there. The food there is not fit for human consumption, she tells you to avoid the meat specifically. Well that sucks, what now?
>>126271>the fairy supplies the meatOh dear.
>>126271>human consumption.Who cares? We are Monstergirls.Ask for directions to a safe place to buy supplies. Get breakfast for Eva and Katya.
>>126330I think she means monstergirl meat
>>126330there are no humans in this universe, everyone is a monstergirl
>>126379How are babies made then? Parthenogenesis?
>>126386Asexual, hermaphrodites or magic.
>>126379Then we can go and safely eat the meat of the local general store? Also, should we question the old lady about what a human is?>>126388OP said no magic earlier. My guess is spontaneous generation
>>126397i fucked up, totally did not mean to say human. I'm tired guys, sorry for the fuck ups. just remove the human bit.
>>126397Don't be a smartass, human may be what monstergirls are referred to in this universe.
>>126401nah, i've been trying to avoid using "human", just slipped up here
>>126420>no human Hitler as final bossGoing back to the story, check time before leaving to the missile mission. Consider bailing out because of Katya. And look for another stores for supplies.
>>126394You know, I'd find it really interesting if other nations had normal ratios of sexes for whatever reasons. Would make interacting with Germans or allies pretty interesting, and not necessarily in a smutty way. Not that I'd complain, mind you.
>>126397>>126438>>126271Realisation dawns on your face as you realize why that centaur was doing with the bodies and the truck. You look around in horror at the people laughing and the children playing, you doubt their attitude would be the same if they knew how they were kept full at night. Katya doesn't seem to grasp the situation, but she knows something is wrong, she moves closer to you.You look back at the old lady and she nods sadly, "Ah, you know do you? Perhaps you were behind the meat shortage we had last night?"
>>126514Well, we can always ignore the meat. We'll have to think about stopping the production of Solyent Green however
>>126561what do you say to the old lady though
>>126726We can either deny or tell the truth. I think denying might be better
>>126514Shit, I have no idea which option is preferential in this case. It's quite likely the ringleaders of this operation will be able to easily track us down, what with the fairy seeing us driving that van and thus denying would be unlikely to accomplish anything. On the other hand, straight up admitting we're behind it may put Katya and Eva in danger. All things considered I'd say it's futile to play dumb here, if we admit and actually talk to this lady about it we might gain some idea about what's going on and how likely repercussions will be. Tell Katya to go play with the other children, then demand to know what justification this woman has for slaughtering innocent people for meat. Also tell her the 'meat' was thoroughly spoiled by the time you arrived. Honestly, if you're going to turn people into foodstuffs, why would you let them rot away before you even butcher them properly? That's just poor and wasteful use of resources.
>>126726Tell her you really really enjoyed the meal last nigtht
>>126864ooh nice ideas.>>126799>>126561>>126892what do you guys think
>>122087>>122516>>126946Sup my man, I am still reading through but I'd like to comment on this. If you think one thing, and write another or pass on details necessary to make the reader know your intentions both sides are going to end up being extremely frustrated. You could've simply put that line in the update. In that particular instance it's not a big deal since you were on rails and didn't call for player agency. You shouldn't be afraid of adding a few lines or a paragraph of fluff to your posts unless you're not confident in your writing (which has been quite good so far minus a few grammatical errors).Think of it as the difference between a comic book and a stick figure comic strip. One puts the characters in a world and show you using backgrounds, the other exists in a vacuum meant only as a vehicle for a pun or a joke.
>>127383do you mean like, in my reply i just write what i meant to? as opposed to talking about it, write the line as though i writing the story?
>>126864>demand to know what justification this woman has for slaughtering innocent people for meat.Who said she's the slaughterer?Anyway, let's think a little here. The back of the truck was full of foul, rotten and likely maggot infested corpses, none were drained of blood. That is NOT meat and it sure isn't food. Whatever goes on in that warehouse, it's not a meat processing operation. If they were getting rid of leftovers it would be bones, carapaces/monstergirl stuff and organs, not piles of mushy corpses. Even the worst nutjob would know to discard this shit before it starts festering. And why would anyone admit to the newbie (in front of a little girl in tow) that they're cannibalizing?>>127505You write a story based on player input, you're not engaging in a dialogue. A player shouldn't have to read anything other than your updates to get the whole story. I'm not saying that it's wrong to talk to us in between updates, but none of those posts should need to be explanations.Basically, before you hit submit you re-read your post while thinking "is anyone going to ask for clarification or demand more details?" and if you think the answer is yes, add a few words.
>>127505I think he's referring to atmospheric details that don't necessarily pertain to the story you're telling, but do a lot to provide your readers with a sense of immersion. If you only describe points that are immediately relevant to the task at hand, the playerbase will only focus on the task at hand, without fully accounting for everything that happened prior to the post. Things like our rifle not having a sling, and thus having to tediously carry it in our hands at all times or stuff like that. Atmospheric details like the state of the homeless population living in the squalor of a shanty town beneath an overpass as you laid out in your post here>>122516 go a long way to pulling us into life as a Soviet monstergirl. Don't be afraid of posting walls of text man, lots of little details do a lot to flesh out what our character is experiencing at the time.
>>127534good points, thanks for the feedback. currently i'm just waiting on the rest of the dudes to give their input on what to do before i write the next parts.
>>127546That too. A few more descriptors and a couple of lines detailing the immediate surrounding and the rest of the cast.>>127534Also>The food there is not fit for human consumption, she tells you to avoid the meat specifically. >"Ah, you know do you? Perhaps you were behind the meat shortage we had last night?"She's not in on it, if these are the lines to go by. Tell her that we only received one bowl yesterday, we didn't get to eat enough to cause a shortage of anything. Let's not engage this topic, we're a mercenary not the patron Saint of a hobo community. We stay the hell out of this, we survived a trap and we still accepted the caravan job. Let's try to keep our head attached until tomorrow morning.>>127553This is my piece for advancing the quest.
>>127556Well now that I think about it, the state of the corpses in the munitions factory might explain why Eva's breath smelled like rotten meat....
>>127559It doesn't explain what they do with the fresh corpses however. If they feed the hobos rank, rancid meat they're sure to fall ill and die of food poisoning or whatever. I can't see the doctor allowing this, nor can I see her being in on it.Who receives the fresh cuts? Army rations? I think this is way above our nonexistent paygrade and we have no connection to this town. I say we sit tight and leave with the caravan immediately, once that job is over and done with we can come back.In fact I vote for leaving to where the caravan is on hold and get chum with the other guards, I much prefer their guns by our side than these hobos we don't know a thing about.
so i think we would be fine with telling her we don't know anything, and basically getting the hell out of dodge?
You guys might be thinking that the bodies have nothing to do with the shortage of meat, plus please keep in mind that our protagonist does think that to be the case.
>>127726Tell the old lady you ate sandwiches...
>>126514You manage to give her a smile and tell her that you aren't sure what caused the shortage. You thank her for the directions and walk away, not waiting to see her response. You go to find Ludya and ask about your truck.your boots crunches on gravel as you walk to the clinic, some residents of the camp give you a smile and a wave, Katya waves back on your behalf. You are still shaken up by what's happening in this camp. You keep your eyes forward and walk briskly towards the clinic, mosin-nagant and bag softly bouncing on your side and back respectively. You almost trip over a child as she runs across the pathway, laughing as she's chased by three more, all intent on not letting her get away. You tell Katya she's free to play with them if she wants. She declines, saying that she'd rather be by your side instead. For a brief moment, you feel warm and fuzzy. You near the clinic and Ludya sees you arrive, she tells you to wait as she finishes cleaning, stitching and bandaging a patient's leg, You see that they have a small gash on their calf as well as some bloody towels on a tray. The patient sits on a table and grimaces in pain as Ludya works on the wound.Ludya finishes up and walks up to you smiling, drying her hands on a cloth. She tells you that the van and has been thoroughly washed of the blood stains. She doesn't ask where the blood came from, stating that some secrets are best kept as secrets. You give her a strangled smile. She hands you they key and tells you that the van is behind the clinic, she also hands Katya a hard candy, She immediately pops it into her mouth and gives Ludya a belated thank you. Before you leave she asks you if you're feeling okay, she notices that you're acting strange. How do you respond?
>>127892Strange? We've only just met.
>>127892I'm fine, just a little shaken up.
>>127968you've met a few times before, she tended to your wounds, as well as Katya's.
>>128199The longest conversation we've had is when she twisted our arm after lying to her. We are for all intents and purposes perfect strangers. Either way, that was my IC reply to her I just didn't use quotation marks."You washed the truck. Let's just say that it wasn't parked in a good neighbourhood."
>>128251think of that as a failure of my writing, aiming for brevity but really missing out on some key relationship building. still new to this, but working on it.
>>128371Say OP, it looks like this thread has begun to go into autosage, are you going to continue this quest? If you do, please don't forget to post a link to the new thread if you get it going before this falls off the board. I am enjoying this so far, I'd like to see you keep it up.
>>127892 You tell that her that you're fine, just a bit tired that's all. She places a hand on your shoulder gives you a concerned look, she tells you that if you need to talk about anything, she's there for you.Thanking her, you go to inspect the truck. They did an amazing job, the tarp has been restored to its original colour and the wood looks brand new. As you're inspecting the truck you hear someone behind you say that "everything's clean, no need to worry."You turn around and see an ant-girl. She introduces herself as the one that singlehandedly removed every trace of blood from the van, bringing you through what she did. How much she had to scrub the tarp to remove the stains and how she actually just replaced all the wood with planks she had in storage. She tells you that if you need any work done on the truck, she'd be happy to work on it, she boasts that she's the closest thing to a mechanic in this camp. She's called away by another voice and you thank her as she walks away, waving back. You get in the truck and turn the key in the ignition. Katya climbs into the passenger seat. You carefully manouver your way around the camp, wary not to hit anything, or anybody on your way out. People around look at you, curious as to what you're doing. Seeing that you're just trying to exit, they return to their previous activities. You leave the camp and make way to follow the directions the baboushka provided. Katya sticks her head out the window as you drive through the streets. After driving for maybe ten minutes, you find that there is indeed a small grocery store here. Nestled in between apartment buildings it looks quite quaint. You help Katya straighten her hair as you enter the store, a bell rings as you open the door. You greeted by another Dog-girl, she to wears a headscarf. You greet her back and say that you are a friend of Anya. She looks surprised but gives you a big smile after the initial reaction, she states that any friend of Anya's is a friend of mine. She urges you to look around the store and buy whatever you want, she says that you have a 20% discount. You look around the store and don't see anyone else, she must be the only one that works here. You walk around the aisles, signs hanging from the ceiling stating what they contain, meat, produce and things of that nature. This store seems to hold what a normal universal store would have just in smaller quantities and with less variety in brands. What do you buy?
>>132125Oh has it really? Thats a shame. Also if you're reading please do contribute :D
>>132369Maybe one update and then a new thread would be a good idea.>>132361Buy supplies for our train trip, bread, eggs, and vodka for EvaWe still feel bad for killing her friend.
>>132436I'll do it in a bit, i'll have to do stuff, should be back in like 2 hours.
>>132361Buy some canned food and a can opener.
>>132464>>132436These 2Do we even have a place of our own by any chance?
>>132436>>132464These sound good.
>>132713Nope, we slept at the housing the metcenary company provided, but after being fired from that we slept at the bar. Now we sleep in Eva's shack. Te closest thing we have to a potential house is the abandone house near the munitions factory
>>133075We'll have to have a home soon, but we are going to leave for the job we signed up for soon.So not sure if we should do that after.

You were fired from your job at as a mercenary after killing your comrades in a botched mission. After wasting your days away in a pub, you decide to do some freelancing, taking odd jobs that people post on the town board. You have befriended a hellhound named Eva, you dislocated her elbows and killed her friend. She doesn't seem to hold it against you. You have also informally adopted an elf-child named Katya, you found her in a house near an abandoned munitions factory where you discovered a massacre. You killed the centaur that was shoveling bodies into a truck, stole the truck and had it cleaned of the blood. You suspect that the meat being fed to the homeless community comes from this source. Presently, you are in a small grocery store with Katya deciding what you should buy for breakfast.CURRENT INVENTORY:20,470 RublesA Mosin_Nagant with a sling made of tattered cloth, loaded with 4 rounds.
