[#] Server Migration
09:10am UTC - 12/07/2012

WE EUROPEAN NOW
WELCOME TO LUXEMBOURG

So I was going to make a post about how we're migrating to Luxembourg at the end of the month, but my VPS provider decided I'd forgotten and just moved the whole thing for me. So, as of last week, we're in Europe now. Amerifags may see some latency while Euronurds will undoubtedly have a better connection; however, overall it should be far more stable and bandwidth-friendly than it's been in recent months.

If you notice any severe fuckups or shit getting crazy, please let me know, but otherwise enjoy the newer, faster, farther server!

No problems on my end. (in Canada) Seems to be even faster loading. Though it was a little iffy for the past couple days, was that because of the server move?

There is one minor issue I found. IIRC it's an old one. When you search the archive by tag it orders threads top-down in chronological order. However when some of those threads are in December of a certain year the archive herp derps a bit and puts December threads at the top and futzes up the list.

Example:

In addition to what Starshadow points out about December threads getting stuck at the top of the list, I've also noticed that threads within certain months get sorted in no particular order. For example, the threads in the December 2012 block here: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=strike+witches

Spoiler tags on pages archived after the birth of Chingbe are turned into strikethroughs. Was this intentional? Because it makes them alot harder to read or ignore

Thank you kindly for your stewardship of this site. My life would be make substantially worse if I couldn't keep up on my trashy quest threads here.

Does that mean we now have Hot Bratwursts instead of Hot Pockets?

Hey, who's that asshole who keeps putting up threads with the tags, "nope, live with your shame?" It's kind of annoying. Or is that you?

Hey, I realize this is off topic for the post, but when I tried to contact via email I never got a response.

Would it at all be possible to recover the "History is Written by the Victors" thread? I've been recovering culled threads and managed most through working in the Internet Archive, but that one has proven elusive. If it's not possible, I can understand, it is rather old, but I figured I might as well try my luck.

Sometime posted in March 2009. Former link via the culled page was

Oh, and I should clarify, you don't need to restore it to the archive, I would just like a copy for myself to keep, and see about uploading to 1d4chan if the people there were cooperative. You don't have to put it back up on suptg.
