    It's Eight O'clock. H.A.N.A. Quest time!

    What has gone on before:

You are Hannah. Also known as H.A.N.A. <A13> or simply as Thirteen, you are the product of Terran Empire biotechnology and designed to act as a living ship controller interface and as a substitute to Artificial Intelligence. You witnessed the destruction of the first extraterrestrial race Humanity encountered among the stars and saw Humanity retreat into the Void as the results of its arrogance began to destroy it. You rebelled against the Fleet to side with your friend, Six, as she and five other H.A.N.A. mutinied aboard the “Prime”, a Fleet Dreadnought. And lastly, your wrecked ship crash-landed on a planet called Thanela Prime, where you remained frozen in Cryostasis for 2000 years until an alien xenoarchaeologist team woke you up. Upon awakening you decided to go with the Seekers that found you to see their civilization heads, and the heads of the Trispecies alliance that is currently in place. Along the way your ship, the "Light Bringer", sufferers from a strange Jump Malfunction and is jerked into a strange solar system, where it is attacked by Pirates. You precede to kick some pirate ass in an impressive spacewalk, and the surviving ship's crew and Captain join you to retake a second Pirate vessel. You head to the Assura system and have a chat with the Council of Three, receive a new ship, befriend the ghost of Nineteen, and meet HANA <B2> for an explosive encounter.

Currently the HANA B controlled Battleship is disabled and disarmed - You arrive to see that the Destroyers have already formed an airtight seal against the ship and have begun working on cutting through the hull.

    >Well, if she tries to blow up the ship, and the only way to stop it is to kill her, I'd say that would be an acceptable ting to do, since if the ship blows with us and the other ships so close it would destroy them as well. But short of that, yes, we must take her alive.
    >And there shouldn't be no other option. She's our only source of information, thus far, on what happened after our last battle. We cannot afford to lose that. What happened to Six?
    >Pop out a comm cable and try to hack the systems to block her from doing anything with the ship. If we have enough armed marines to form a boarding party, start working on cutting through the hull and sending them in as well.

Make sure the fleet is aware that killing her shouldn't be done unless there is no other option.

You align close to the Battleship and shoot out a communications cable, but there is no response from the other side. She must either be blocking you or has cut off internal power.

The Destroyer Seeker boarding teams confirm the latter: "We have successfully entered the vessel, but it seems that whoever was in control has sealed the pressure doors and disabled both the on-board power and gravity. Its a dead ship right now... How should we proceed?"
    >> Researcher Sam 01/21/10(Thu)20:08 No.7707266
"Well that's somewhat of a mixed blessing; on the one hand, lack of power means that self-destruct in unlikely, and any automated defenses should be down. On the other hand, we don't know what she's planning, and I can't hack in to release the pressure doors. Looks like you're going to have to cut your way through them.

But be careful and stay on guard. You're dealing with a Terran Battleship with an angry and quite possible frightened HANA; almost anything could happen."

Keep the comm cable connected, make sure we have a super strong firewall around it so that she doesn't try to reverse hack into us, and so that if she restores power we can try to talk to her again and/or stop her if she tries anything.

inb4 the ship is dead and she killed herself rather than fall into our hands. Damn that would be sad...
    >> Anonymous 01/21/10(Thu)20:13 No.7707348
On a complete and utter side note, could we please rename our own ship to something other than 'Sixseeker'? I read through the last archived thread and was horrendously disappointed at how no one spoke up against such a retarded name.

The Tushan or whatever name was much, much better.

    Now, on topic...
This. Also see if we can forward them any thing we can remember how battleship lay-outs and possible back-up power systems.

We need to physically control both the reactor room and the bridge before we go for the HANA.
    >> H.A.N.A. Quest Part 8 Supernova !FzAyW.Rdbg 01/21/10(Thu)20:16 No.7707387
"Roger that, we will be careful. We have cut through the first few doors, and it seems the atmosphere has been vented from this area. Continuing in..."

About ten minutes pass, with no response from the silent Battleship.

"Contact with the HANA reported from Team 2, switching comms over to them... ...we saw someone in a white suit dash down a hall here... its pressurized up here, and we are close to the bridge... we will try to send you a camera feed..."

Continuing on that side note, I loved "Anshan", but to be fair I flipped a coin.
    >> WritesStrangelyFag 01/21/10(Thu)20:18 No.7707430

Don't worry! There are plenty of ancient Iranian cities from which to steal names! I'm sure that we'll find a cooler name next time!
Anyway, if the power is down, why would H.A.N.A be a treat to us? And we know that they can override control eve
    >> Anonymous 01/21/10(Thu)20:19 No.7707447
I vote for an overturning of that coin flip. Sixseeker is INCREDIBLY RETARDED.

Anyway, does the boarding team have non-lethal weapons? If so, tell them to take her down with them.

Also, see if we can do a deep scan of the battleship. We need schematics and the most probable location for the armory. And if we have the schematics we can route the boarding teams to cut the HANA off.
    >> WritesStrangelyFag 01/21/10(Thu)20:20 No.7707462
Damn... Half of my post was cut. I wanted to suggest that we get H.A.N.A first because we know that they can override control and kill the crew, so holding the bridge and reactor room wouldn't help much.
    >> Researcher Sam 01/21/10(Thu)20:22 No.7707498
How about this: Once we find Six and the name becomes redundant, we can rename it. Would that be agreeable?

"It would seem that one or more HANA B2 have gotten out of their pods. Watch out, she may be armed or going to get armaments. Again, watch out for improvised traps and sabotage. Pleas etry not to hurt them."

How many HANAs does it take to sontrol a Battleship? I know there were five other HANAs with Six; I'm assuming that a Battleship would have three or four HANAs to help control it.
    >> WritesStrangelyFag 01/21/10(Thu)20:24 No.7707532

    Nice idea about the name.

And good thinking about more H.A.N.A.s I implicitly assumed there was only one!

Yep. I'm hoping to save as many people as we can. They'll all live happily ever after, WHETHER THEY WANT TO OR NOT!
    >> H.A.N.A. Quest Part 8 Supernova !FzAyW.Rdbg 01/21/10(Thu)20:28 No.7707607
A side-screen flashes on in your pod, and you are shortly seeing through the Seeker's helmet camera. The corridor they are running through is unsealed, but pitch black except for their lights. B must have closed all the pressure doors except for those leading wherever she planned to go. With the camera shaking so much from the group running, you barely make out the words "^BRIDGE^" in white lettering on the floor.

To control a Battleship, normally three HANA <A> would have been required. The generation of HANA <B>, however, were modified to be able to handle the strain of a single ship much more easily.

"We do have taser bullets in our armament, as well as knockout gas. We are as interested in taking her alive as you."
    >> Researcher Sam 01/21/10(Thu)20:32 No.7707695
Ah, so it is likely that there really is only one HANA aboard. Regardless, we should still not let our guard down if/when we catch this one.

"Good. If she's heading towards the bridge, it could mean she's trying to trigger a manual shutdown or self-destruct; I'm not entirely sure, seeing as how I never served aboard a Battleship. See if you can get some men or engineers to the engines and reactors in case she tries to overload them."

This is being said assuming we don't know these things; if we do know for a fact that you can trigger a manual self-destruct, then say that.
    >> Subprocessor 002 01/21/10(Thu)20:33 No.7707710
Hm. What is she up to?

I still want another team with physical control of the reactor room and any other back-up generators. If we keep the ship unpowered we can take as much time as we need to hunt her down. Have them physically remove couplings if they need too, but make sure no one can turn those power plants back on unless we want them on.

Also see about jamming her communications. I have a bad idea involving her sending off a message.

Anyway, you three carry on. I'll be back after my dinner to see how things went.
    >> H.A.N.A. Quest Part 8 Supernova !FzAyW.Rdbg 01/21/10(Thu)20:34 No.7707730
She can trigger a manual self destruct from the Bridge.
    >> H.A.N.A. Quest Part 8 Supernova !FzAyW.Rdbg 01/21/10(Thu)20:37 No.7707789
"We are a combat team here! If she is trying to trigger a meltdown of the core, we don't have the ability to disable it! We are also on the other end of this massive ship - she could have closed all the pressure doors!"

"I think the second team is closer - if you want someone over there, then let them know!"
    >> WritesStrangelyFag 01/21/10(Thu)20:38 No.7707807
Tell Seekers to access the bridge! We've seen them pass the bridge door just now.

We should keep a group of Seekers on bridge until we get that H.A.N.A <B>. Also if I remember correctly, teams from other ships were coming aboard too. Check their progress.
    >> H.A.N.A. Quest Part 8 Supernova !FzAyW.Rdbg 01/21/10(Thu)20:43 No.7707896
"Your immediate priority is to get to the Bridge! Where are the other teams?" You ask.

"Team 1 appears to have cut their way into a hangar bay. Teams 3 and 4 report that they have seen signs for 'Armory' and 'Engineering'. As for us, we've reached the Bridge entrance, but it appears that she's sealed it from the inside. We are working on cutting our way in right now!"
    >> Researcher Sam 01/21/10(Thu)20:44 No.7707910
    I thought so.

"Yes, reroute the second team that way. Are there any extra pressure suits on any of the docked ships with engineers aboard? Let's try to get some of them to the reactor(s)."

Under our breath: "Damnit Two, don't do this."

"Yes, reroute the second team that way. Are there any extra pressure suits on any of the docked ships with engineers aboard? Let's try to get some of them to the reactor(s). Get Team 3 to the Armory and Team 4 to Engineering!" You command.

A few minutes pass, and then a flurry of reports come in.

"This is Team 3, we've reached the Armory - its open but we can't tell what could be missing!"

"Team 4 here - we are at Engineering but can't enter! There is a tremendous heat source inside the room - its melted the pressure door shut, and our suits can't handle it!"

"We've almost cut our way into the Bridge..."
    >> Anonymous 01/21/10(Thu)20:53 No.7708057
Didn't we find out that there was some system or something that kept them from impacting or exploding within a certain distance of the ship? We shouldn't have to worry about missiles.
    >> Anonymous 01/21/10(Thu)20:55 No.7708092
Shit, this might mean her ship is about to blow up due to damage, and B is trying to lock it down, can we do some kind of system scan or sensor sweep on her ship with our ship?
    >> Researcher Sam 01/21/10(Thu)20:56 No.7708101
"Damn, it looks like she's initiated a reactor overload. Team three, there should be some heat resistant suits in the armory. See if those will help."

"Given our knowledge of Terran ships, how would we go about stopping this, if there is even a way to do it?
    >> WritesStrangelyFag 01/21/10(Thu)20:57 No.7708120

Maybe, but I'm afraid that there could be a few missiles that were hacked to explode while in ship. In space most of the energy from a nuclear bomb would miss the target, even if it explodes close to it. Inside the ship, the energy wouldn't have where to go, so even one missile exploding inside would be a disaster.
    >> Anonymous 01/21/10(Thu)20:58 No.7708132
I've got a question about tech. Alien technology is based on our own tech, but how does it compare? Have our ships been passed up in our absence, or are they ancient relics of power to be sought and fought for?

Because we need to find one and jack it.
    >> WritesStrangelyFag 01/21/10(Thu)21:00 No.7708156

In last thread it is said that they are a little bit behind.
    Check it, to be sure.
Seekers' ships have a bit heavier armor, but are a little bit less maneuverable.
    >> H.A.N.A. Quest Part 8 Supernova !FzAyW.Rdbg 01/21/10(Thu)21:02 No.7708205
You activate a thermal scan of the ship, and find that there is a strong heat source emanating from near where the Engines of the ship were.

You notify Team 3, and they snatch as many heat resistant suits they can find and start moving towards Team 4. As for canceling a reactor overload, you'd have to reinsert the control rods if she has removed them.

At this time the three races have adapted human technology to their own uses, so the only edge Human ships may have over their Alien counterparts varies from race to race. They aren't uber powerful, unless you count the Prime.

There are several Engineering teams from the Seeker ships that could assist. And I'm a Mechanical person myself - all that stuff with electric current in a magnetic field really turned me off to Electrical.
    >> Researcher Sam 01/21/10(Thu)21:03 No.7708211
From what I've seen, their armor capabilities have developed to be superior to ours, while our ships by and large remain faster and more maneuverable. If anything,, we're slightly above them in terms of tech, but given another 300-400 years, maybe less, and we'll probably all be on even footing.
    >> Researcher Sam 01/21/10(Thu)21:05 No.7708267
So she might not have started an engine overload herself; it would have been caused by our weapons. Well, for whatever reason, we should try to stop it. Can we get an idea of how much damage would be caused by the engines exploding? I don't know how volatile they are; I figure it could be anywhere from destroying the entire ship and all of us around it, to a rather small explosion that only takes out the engines itself.
    >> Anonymous 01/21/10(Thu)21:06 No.7708274
Are the control rods located in engineering or the bridge? if so we're going to need to send an engineering team there as well.

If the ship blows up, will it fuck over all of our ships too? or would it be wise to just withdraw to our ships so we don't lose anyone? If so we need to grab B and run.
    >> WritesStrangelyFag 01/21/10(Thu)21:07 No.7708304

They would be in engineering, right above the reactor, sticking out of it.

According to your Thermal scans, if the current heat levels continue to grow within the ship as they are, several things may happen:

    1. The core may melt the inside of the ship until it consumes all of its fuel.
    2. The core may react violently, detonating with a resulting radiation cloud.
    3. The core may run out of fuel and fizzle out rather harmlessly.

The first two run the risk of rupturing the Jump Capacitors, if they aren't ruptured already. If enough energy is stored in them, the resulting electrical discharge could fuse anything metal in and around the ship together.
    >> Anonymous 01/21/10(Thu)21:11 No.7708362

    mmmm boobies
    >> Researcher Sam 01/21/10(Thu)21:12 No.7708375
Well, it seems like the third is the best case scenario if we aren't able to fix it, followed by the first as long as it doesn't rupture the capacitors. And two seems to have a very good chance of causing the capacitors to explode as well, which would be a very bad thing, in addition to the damage of the engines exploding. Let's hope that if we don't stop it it'll be number three.

The Seeker whose helmet you're looking through takes a quick peek over the top of the console, revealing the HANA B to be furiously pounding on a set of controls. She seems to be holding a Heavy Caliber Pistol.

"Shit, I can't do jack up here! Its too damn late! I can't succeed like this! But..."

What if we board the ship, talk to her, convince her of our intentions being true and warranted. This. Combined with getting the engineers to engineering to help with the problem. Fuck, did the engineers suit up in the heat resistant suits or the normal ones? If it's just the normal ones they'll have to talk the others through it, and that likely won't turn out well.

    "Roger that, lets roll."

The two Seeker teams breach the Engineering section loudly. "Um... there's a giant gash in the wall here - something must have flown through and breached the core. Its leaking an incredible amount of heat! We can see the Jump Capacitors - from here they look intact!"

The Seekers break cover and take aim, as HANA B reaches the side of the Bridge and yanks a lever with all her might. A small voice begins a 5 second countdown as the Seeker taser bullets slam into B2, stiffening her muscles as she bounces against the lever, unable to move.

You have 4 minutes until Engineering becomes inaccessible. To clarify on the positions of the Jump Capacitors in relation to the group its - Group - Core - Jump Capacitors. The Engineers are suited up in heat resistant suits. After the 4 minutes, you'll have a slight bit longer until either the Core burns itself out or breaches the Jump Capacitors. If the latter happens, the resulting electrical discharge won't be pretty. If it simply continues to consume fuel but there is no energy in the Capacitors, then it will continue to slowly heat and melt the ship together.

I hope our teams are in fully pressurized suits, because I think she just set off something to depressurize the bridge. I have a question for you Supernova, I am assuming that H.A.N.A. Where in the ship is the location of the reactor. If it is near the outside of it, we could one, if not ours, of our ships to make a precision cut into the hull and hopefully depressurize the engine/reactor area. This would most likely put out the "fire" and do we have any weapons capable of doing such said precise "cutting" of a ship?

The entire Engineering section is depressurized already - from the gash in the side. The tremendous heat is from the breached Core reaction.

The Seekers push themselves off quickly in the bridge towards HANA. In the bright light of their lamps you swear you could see her smirking...
The door behind her suddenly explodes outwards, as the explosive bolts around it detonate, and the room quickly begins to depressurize in a maelstrom of wind. HANA B is sucked out into the vacuum instantly... Writeup incoming on this shortly.

The Battleship is clear of the Asteroid field by some margin - it was you who took cover in the said field.

Break it gently please. GENTLY. This is a work of fiction, and I'm rather unfamiliar with the phenomenon of rapid decompression. In my mind, it happens so rapidly that its over before you know it. >> WritesStrangelyFag 01/21/10(Thu)22:04 No.7709348

We do not have ground, but each "plate" of the capacitor has roughly same amount of charge. Current will seek the path of least resistance between points of biggest electric tension (voltage? Is that correct term in English?). We can safely assume that those would be connectors of the capacitor. So electricity would take the shortest path through anything metallic from one connector of capacitor to next and probably melt everything along that part. It wouldn't go though whole ship.
If the capacitor leaks, chemicals could be very dangerous too, but they wouldn't affect whole ship.

Well, essentially in space if there's a hull breech you go from one atmosphere (unit of measurement) to zero atmospheres. Air will begin to leak out of the ship at a nominal rate through the breech, about as quickly as a stiff breeze.

Movie depictions of depressurizing spaceships are taken from what happens to an airplane when it depressurizes, where you go from two or three atmospheres to zero, in addition to moving lords knows fast at lords knows what altitude (where most of the wind comes from).

I'm trying to find a source on it right now to back up my wild claims, we've worked through it a few times in hard sci-fi discussions on /tg/ but right now wikipedia and google hate me.

"Look around for a Handle or something! There should be a way to physically separate and eject the Core from the ship!"

The Seeker teams hurriedly look around the Engineering section and find a reinforced console closest to their door - in it are three large and heavy looking levers.

    They pull all of them.

The detonation of the heavy explosive bolts throughout the ship knocks the group around as the now unsupported Core plummets through a shaft created underneath it. Your sensors notify you that the large heat signature is slowly moving through the ship structure, as the compartments ahead of it are being pressurized and then depressurized almost immediately. A few moments later and a large section of the ship's hull separates from the ship, and you can see the faintly glowing Core tumbling through space.

Lord knows how many more we would have lost if we hadn't given orders to close on her ship to board; the missile heading towards them would have impacted and we would likely have lost a few more ships and all of them would likely have sustained damage.

The Council of Three were nice enough to be understanding of what we did to the other alien race because we were ORDERED to. If we were to show the more forgiving and "naturally" kind side of human nature, it will be more profitable in the end when it comes to relations and trust of the Seekers.

Look at it this way. We lost our two smallest ships, with likely the smallest crew compliment. Unless I'm mistaken, our ship was the only one that was actually damaged, and that was by a missile hit.

If we suffered less than 20% casualties in retrieving a mostly intact and working Battleship AND another Human, I'd consider that to be an astounding margin of victory. Only a fool expects for 0% casualties. Everyone hopes for it, but you should never seriously expect it.

Luckily, there is nothing in the data-banks that may be harmful to you. LUCKILY.

You investigate Navigation Charts, and several systems pop up. They are labeled: Haven Gate, Utopia Gate, Thanela Gate, and Bael Gate.

In Combat Logs you find that after your fall in Thanela, Prime preceded to devastate the Human Fleet to the point of them withdrawing. According to Jump Records, they then jumped to the Bael Gate, where the Prime followed and destroyed the HANA B1 Battleship. The HANA B2 Battleship then left the remnants of the Human fleet after receiving ORDERS, and jumped randomly before settling into this asteroid field. The records do not show where the Human Fleet or the Prime went.

The decrypted Orders simply state: "Enter cryostasis and after the appointed time, release the Haven Gate. If you do not, we will understand you have failed, and undertake measures ourselves."

    Communications incoming...

That's 3 ships, by army list you yourself suggested!

    That's entire 10% more!!!

Still, it wasn't so bad, so we should remain vigilant, but not paranoid.

Also, do we know what happened to our first ship that was boarded by pirates? If there was a traitor there, he could be among our crew, plotting, even as I type this, how turn our victory against us! Just something to fuel the paranoia.

    Fuck yeah! That's our Six!

Which is the third ship? Which ship other than the two flak ships got destroyed? 2 ships destroyed and one damaged is pretty good. And I doubt we actually took 20% casualties; that was a worst-case guesstimate. Since the flak ships were so small, and we probably only lost a dozen or two people to the missile... You ask a guard nearby for assistance, and he provides you with a medium length of cable. When you explain to him what you wish to do, he looks slightly astonished, but obeys. He takes one end of the cable in hand, and walking up to B, quickly grabs her head and pushes it down so her neck implants are exposed. You keep on pressing forward, gaining momentum, ripping through the barriers she tosses up hastily against you with ease.

The memories are sharp, short, and painful. Like broken glass being wedged between one's fingernails.

The implantation done to the HANA Bs was much more intensive than what was done to you, as well as the supplemental "enforcement" routines provided to ensure no chance of product defectiveness. A blank, whitewashed board is what the Terran Command wanted to work with, and that is what they strove to produce. However, even the most strong brainwashing could not remove the inner self of the HANA Bs, and that is what they treasured amongst themselves most of all. It was their secret place, and no matter what they were ordered to do, no matter what indignities they must suffer - that was what they shared with each other - and so developed intense connections with one another.

On the outside, they were automatons, robots of flesh that would do anything that was ordered - but inside they stuffed away and hid their true emotions until they could share them with one another. To breach this inner sanctum was unforgivable.

How can you say that there was even a little bit of you that was still human if you let them do this? You went into battle, you must have known that each time there was a risk that you or her could die. How dare you blame me and Six for this. What should we have done? Just submitted and been destroyed? What would you have done if you were being hunted and that was your only other option?

If you weren't brainwashed completely, then there was a part of you that was still human, still you. they can't make you do anything that you don't want. You chose to follow those orders, and you're choosing to follow these. They didn't need to brainwash you; you've always been their puppet.

You say we don't know what it's like to loose that part of yourself? How about being killed? How about watching as that person who you share that connection with is slowly driven insane by the things that they do, for the supposed good of humanity? And then, when all they want to do is walk away, driven to the brink, and you want to help then, everyone attacks you and tries to kill you. Do you know what that feels like? You go on about your deep connections as if no one else could possibly have anything like them, and you are wrong.

Her brainwashing is psychological in nature - you're in her mind right now, but the mental barriers put in place by High Command need to be overcome by her. You can try to help her if you wish.

You can bring up your memories for her to see in the Virtuality.

"Death... Death is inevitable. We faced it every day in our creation and in our continued existence. We lived for each other, and those who tried to break out from the bondage placed upon us were put down immediately. You weren't linked to a detonator for your friend. If you disobeyed orders, they wouldn't kill you, or Six, or three other HANA that had nothing to do with you. There were many more HANA B produced than HANA A, even if it was just for the reason that were were all the more expendable.

You fought back because you had a chance, because you had hope. We followed orders because we had none, and because we cared more for each other than for you. I'm not praising the Fleet, I'm not saying that they are good at all. I hate them... Detest them... But you learn to live in fear, to follow orders to live - and stay alive.

When I lost my partner, my sister... I lost my reason to live. There was nothing left. I could disobey orders if I had wanted to, but what was the point. It was... the lowest point of my life. And all I wanted to do was take revenge for One. And the Fleet could do that."

And yes, you should feel very proud of your work here Supernova. I wish I could write even 75% as well as you. As one anon said a few threads back, this quest actually engages me and makes me care for the characters, and you manage to make them easy to connect with.

B cracks a slight smile. "Its safe to do so - I may not look like I understand what happened just now, but eventually what was done here in my true self will break through."

I laugh at TVTropes, and I'll talk about this shortly - I plan to session end at 2 AM.

Escape?? Now, you are really loosing touch! Can't you see that she was in fact hacking us all this time and is about to format our brain and transfer herself there so she could manipulate Seekers into accomplishing her objectives.

I laugh at TV Tropes as well; there's some funny stuff on there. I mean, I know that this 'defeat means friendship' crap won't work for real, and as I said I'll bet this is all a trap[ anyway, but it's certainly a comforting lie to cling to.

"Oh, B - before I go, I'd like you to meet my friends. This is Cam, and this is Nineteen."

Cam steps quietly into the Virtuality, next to B, and covers her with a blanket. "You look cold, my dear. And I'm sorry for the rough intrusion."

Nineteen peeks out from behind you, and smiles with a wide-eyed grin. "Its brighter in here than it was before... Cleaner too..."

"Its nice to meet you both, I hope you'll put up with me after this." HANA B2 says lightheartedly. She waves a slight goodbye to all of you, while pulling Cam's blanket closer around her.

And with a slight jerk, you're standing once again across from Two, and noticing for the first time that she is silently crying, but wears a look of confusion on her face. "Why am I... What happened?"
    >> Researcher Sam 01/22/10(Fri)01:59 No.7713365

You carefully undo her restraints, and she sinks to her bed quietly. "For some reason... I feel lighter." She curls her lanky form into a fetal position, and suddenly she is asleep on the cabin's bed.

You quietly close the door behind you.

Now where to go - your mind is reeling. There's the Architect's dig site, and there's also the Prime's fight at the Bael Gate. There is also back to the Station to see how the Seekers are doing, and how they are coping planet-side now that your existence has been revealed.
    >> WritesStrangelyFag 01/22/10(Fri)02:02 No.7713390
I'd say do for dig-site. The other two locations aren't going to disappear. Sure, Seekers might use some more help with public relations, but as far as we know everything is more or less fine back there.
    >> What a Faggot !QF5oszRdpY 01/22/10(Fri)02:02 No.7713404
It wasn't immediately a trap, that kinda makes me feel warm and fuzzy...better not let our guard down. Do an internal scan...wait no fuck that, even if we never tell anyone we'd be breaking her trust in us if she is sincere. Also 2 is bald right? lets get her a wig, as a surviving and thriving ex-cancer patient I can tell you personally being bald aint no fun. then plot a course at maximum warp.

Bael's Gate. Our mission is to find our sister Six, first and foremost.

    >Rolling dice

    Oh shi-

After a quick check-in, I'd go for the archeological dig. If we meet Six too soon, it could go badly for Two. We didn't just do all that so that she would regress because we couldn't wait; we've waited for two thousand years, we can stand to wait another few days.
    >> H.A.N.A. Quest Part 8 Supernova !FzAyW.Rdbg 01/22/10(Fri)02:20 No.7713483
The first roll doesn't count, as we did that already and it wasn't worth it. It took all of one post to finish. The second roll however, is a mystery.
    >> What a Faggot !QF5oszRdpY 01/22/10(Fri)02:21 No.7713492
Actually, you got a point there, besides we should allow a little time to see what happens with the seeker's determine if a serious problem is going to develop or if it's something that they can handle on their own. Changing vote to digsite.

Wow... Just wow. I didn't want another party member at all. I built HANA B to be that crazy bitch that wanted to kill you, and I even thought of the idea of hacking her as a form of mind rape. But then I got to thinking... what would her inner self be like? I had a lot of thoughts on the HANA B series, and I had made up my mind initially that they were going to be the darker, more robotic version of the HANA A. If you would have went in the ship after her, I even had a sparring encounter setup - though much darker than with Six.

But you all surprised me, and when you acted in compassion when you brute forced your way into her mind - I decided to reveal the helpless Two inside. I had much more fun working with her than with Nineteen, as 19 was just a lost and scared child. This was an abuse victim. I thought for a moment that you would push 13 too far - that you would rip what you wanted out of 2 and leave her. If you had tried to hug her, she would have tried to rip an ear off. She was that savage, that conditioned.

Once again, I'm floored by you all and your awesome RPing. You love-able bunch of moralfags.

Its a d100 table in increments of 10 (1-10, 11-20, and so on). The 50s were done in the 4th thread I think. So minor that it wasn't worth it to continue it.

    >>I thought for a moment that you would push 13 too far - that you would rip what you wanted out of 2 and leave her.

But I'm sure part of the reason we didn't was that after we hacked in we realized B2 didn't really have much any information that we didn't know already.

Also, yay for us managing not to make ourselves appear to be scum in 19 and CAM's eyes.
    >> Researcher Sam 01/22/10(Fri)02:34 No.7713597
