Rogue Traders are supposed to come from long and storied noble lineages dating back thousands of years. As such, and since it isn't 40k unless it's ludicrously over-the-top, all Rogue Traders should have suitably baroque, florid, overwrought names, both to troll their crew members with ("Fifty lashes for failing to properly address a senior officer, voidsman.") and because having a long, multi-part name is awesome in its own right, the equivalent of a fancy hat (that you get to sign everything with, in ink made from gold and blessed by the knucklebone of a saint).

ITT: Long-ass names suitable for Rogue Traders. Bonus points for hilarious multi-ethnic concoctions.

Rogue Traders are some of the wealthiest people in the Imperium, or have the potential to be. Thus, they can afford the best life-extension treatments around. Of course, their career path is one fraught with peril, so all the juvinat treatments in the world won't help you when the Orks smash you to pieces or your ship gets sucked into the Warp, but it's conceivable that some Rogue Traders will be around for hundreds of years at a stretch.

In America, esquire is a title taken by especially condescending lawyers.

Most go with "attorney at law" but if you were knighted in Britain and but you're a rich WASP lawyer over here then you can be Sir ______, Esq. if you really want to rub everyone's face in it.

He accidentially managed to convince the machine spirit to commit suicide and then led an orphanage revolt, captured the rogue trader vessel docked at the station and became a sort of rogue trader/thrill seeker, taking on pirates and raiders and generally getting a name for himself.
Up until the point he face planted the entire ship on a planet. He was picked up three years later, with the entire ill-gotten gains of a small pirate kingdom, which brings us up to today.

I always make sure to RP them as being entirely snobby but all about the party, focusing on fashion and the extravagance of what they're eating (Stewed void kraken, whatever).... It's been stupid fun,

I had just entirely underestimated my players- They completely leaped into the "we are super-nobles" thing and discarded all the hard-fought or whatever "low-lifes" (as they call them) other NPCs. So I had to very quickly switch my villains! Not a big deal, literally from a GM standpoint just switching a name...

but I never saw this coming! I LOOOOOVE that my players are spending their ship-refit time doing PF checks to get.... get this.. HIGH FASHION outfits so they can make other RT entourage people swoon.

I thought cruisers were about 7 to 8 miles long, Battleships around the 12 miles long size. Light Cruiser's clocking in a 5 to 6, Frigates no more than 4, and everything else around 3 miles long?

I think the Ship sizes comparison website has some semi-official sizes for the things. A cobra is 3 miles long for instance.

According to the RT book frigates and raiders are ~1.5km long. Cruisers are 5km or so, Light Cruisers being slightly shorter (4.5km).

Imperial ships need to be huge because they're 99% wasted space. Doing things like using a thousand slaves to reload a single gun. Or having vast areas of the ship so unnecessary they're abandoned.
