The ships of the Union picket force rocket through space towards the advancing hive fleet, the shimmering globe of Path glittering behind them. Something skims the sensors for a brief moment, its presence masked by its speed and size, and before it is possible to react a chitinous ferrous slug slams into the aproaching Union picket force, bouncing off the corvette's shields as it flickers and dies from the impact. A second shot shreds the shield cap of the ship like tinfoil and spilling a cloud of gas and water into space like a bleeding animal. Debris scatters out as the strike craft spread out, scattering in all directions as they move to intercept as missiles unload from their hulls.Vibrant flashes fill the void of space, and a moment later a new fleet opens fire. We will remove these drones from human space." >>49178275Your fleet hammers out round after round from their spinal mounts as they skim past the enemy hive fleet, catching a smattering of fire as you pass. The shields of your own ships flicker as they deflect the light bombardment of chitinous rounds, and a moment later your own salvo hits, shattering six of the corvettes like dead leaves crumbling underfoot. The shrapnel of shattered drive wings flips end for end, tumbling forth into one of the cruisers as it slices through the ship's flesh. Frigates burst open like gutted animals as railgun fire punches clean through their hulls, and several become engulfed in flames as various internal components ignite in the sudden burst of fire, reducing another three of the frigates to tumbling ruble.A corvette of your own explodes, its hull deliberately placed in the path of a stray impactor from the rival queen's careless salvo. Your thinkers predict its trajectory to the center of New Tokyo. You realize, with some level of pride, that your shattered corvette has likely saved possibly millions of human lives. Another round, slower, deflected from a shield, erupts on contact with Path's atmosphere, harmlessly spreading into a ball of flame high above terraced farmland along the outskirts of the city.Your fleet comes about quickly, bleeding off its velocity in the upper wisps of atmosphere of Path as your vessels shift the gears of their skid drives, locking their drives to Talgo and entering a wide arcing path across the incoming fleet. The Union picket forces hammer into them, but quickly back off to lick their wounds, their missiles trailing behind them as they pass the attacking fleet in a sudden and momentary eruption of atomic fire and kinetic force that flashed in the dark of space with only a momentary scream of electromagnetism. cont.

>>49179073Anybody ever wonder that maybe the Nigger Queens ships are garbage compared to ours is because these are the old outdated ships she no longer cares about? Like maybe she has better ships somewhere and this is just a smattering of essentially spare parts and trash.
>>49179165You figure that she'd at the very least recycle them into 'better' ships. She honestly might not have better ships yet due to the whole nobody challenging her in X-amount of time. If i'm wrong tho, please correct me.
>>49179073WE LOST A CORVETTE!TIME TO DEMAND COMPENSATION!
>>49179165>spare parts and trashThose are unnecessary in a Hive fleet due to exceptional recycling programs and logistics only being limited by how much food and metal you have. These are the standard in her shitty navy because she hasn't had the chance to stealthily steal human tech like we have.
>>49179165Hives are typically known for quantity over quality, but yes. She's probably trying to come up with some way to counter us. She's already countered our nuke pods by holding her fleets in tight formation for better point defence.Remember White queen tasked millions of thinkers with finishing the psionic cannon and the builder had pretty much the same with thinkers throwing ideas to the wall to see what sticks.
>>49179165Better ships like the styrofoam ones we killed? Or the hive ship we shattered over Refuge? The OQ's ships, at least the ones she has anywhere near the front lines, are shit. She may have good ones in reserve, but we have no way of knowing that. The problem we face, I believe, is that she just has many, many, more ships than we have before even accounting for the fact our ships are far more costly to produce than OQ's really cheap ones are.She probably has other ship designs, you're correct. We just have no reason to believe she's made enough advancements in a year or so since she last fought our mother to make her ships better than we've seen. Hives are terrible at innovation (at least before quantum thinkers) even without a crystal lobotomy. She may have prototype ships, but I'm not sure they'll be too much more effective than the styrofoam ships we already destroyed. If she gets access to human or scav tech, however, we may have a lot more to worry about.
>>49179165She's the Salt Queen now
>>49179290Every single encounter with us she's gotten spanked.
>>49179073Shattered chitinous hull fragments flow forth from the atomic hellfire, and your fleet hammers into the few craft that still think, their dying minds crying out for direction, confused at the sudden turn of events. The last few ships cling to the battlecruiser as it plunges through the igniting warheads and hammering railguns, its hull pockmarked with irradiated scorch marks and truck-sized holes as it continues through to Path. Your fleet closes the distance, and your own weapons open up, chewing into the remaining craft. The battlecruiser slows, the corvettes behind it hiding from your wall of fire. It closes in on the planet, passing the first formation of your fleet as you turn to target the hiding sub capitals as the capital ship attempts to barge its way through your impromptu blockade.Elsewhere, on the surface of Path, a skyscraper tilts. The lights of the city flickers, and darken, and with a sound of thunder a lance of light reaches into the heavens, the air itself ionized by the normally invisible particle beam. You see it from orbit, like a finger reaching out from the surface, and it strikes into the capital ship, piercing its hull from bow to stern. You hear it scream. The corvettes flee from behind it as it begins to bleed out, and more lances lurch forward, slicing into the ship as it breaks apart, your own fleet hammering into its nerve clusters to silence it, certain it is likely the only ship here with a relay, and sure enough, as it grows silent, you feel the others lose their purpose."Where is Mother?""We fight, what do we fight?""Mother is not here. Where is Mother?"You crack open several more of the corvettes, and others are gutted by more lancing beams from below. The debris drifts slowly into the atmosphere, and you watch, carefully, as the charred pieces burn to nothing.>Have your fleet leave quickly to avoid further political complications>Have your fleet stay and attempt to track down any remaining debris>Other
>>49179244I sincerely doubt she has anything better at the moment-- or if she does, it's not the majority of her fleet. YET. She'll be doing what we are-- building up our forces like mad in preparation for the hammerblow.Re the last few threads she's been pushed onto the back foot, seeing the disparity in our tech levels she's trying to scout us out to find out our force levels and if we have millions of ships or just a handful. Also that hive ship of hers got blatted in the most hilarious fashion possible. We literally dropped an armada on her ass, nuked the everliving shit out of her entire fleet and then began boarding the hiveship.
>>49179309>Have your fleet stay and attempt to track down any remaining debrisWe just saved there lives, state they could have bio-weapons or something of that nature to affect them so we're ensuring they are extra safe?
>>49179309>>Have your fleet stay and attempt to track down any remaining debris
>>49179330>Have your fleet stay and attempt to track down any remaining debris
>>49179309>Have your fleet stay and attempt to track down any remaining debrisWe don't want any OQ hive creep springing up anywhere. Burn it all.
>>49179309>>Have your fleet stay and attempt to track down any remaining debrisCan't let any spores or psionic tech fall to the Union world.
>>49179309>>Have your fleet stay and attempt to track down any remaining debris. If the picket fleets ask what we're doing."containing and removing bioweapons."
>>49179309>>Have your fleet stay and attempt to track down any remaining debrisThey won't shoot us (probably) unless we do something hostile, and even if they do shoot us it gives us diplomatic leverage later if we don't fire back.Although even if we do botch this roll we've infiltrated the human scientists enough we'll get to see how they react to studying OQ fragments.
>>49179309So I take it the Union rolled high as well?
>Have your fleet stay and attempt to track down any remaining debrisWe really need to tell the humans how important our Coloration is when making distinctions between hives. Maybe a little rhyme?
>>49179379Good call. It sounds like something they shouldn't interfere with, and has the added benefit of being true (while also giving the humans less to study about us).
You know, I wonder how our agents (and the human anarchist/terrorist cells) are feeling about seeing a battle in the skies over the city and the hidden anti-orbital batteries opening up.
>>49178856Oh I do not know what it is, I was referring to general attitude in regards to those random cropped pics which many people have.
>>49179309This is incredibly nit-picky, but why do we never hear about cyclotrons or plasma lances anymore? Always with the kinetics.
>>49179309>a relay>OQ actually sent a relay for onceFugg. That is both bad news, in that she learned stuff from this mission, and a missed opportunity to capture one.
>>49179381Human scientists tend to have bad luck with us. One tried to dissect us and ended up covered in acid, another one was burned out of hiding with plasma and is now our kerrigan and the last is an unwitting pawn.
>>49179424Better tell the union they've been found by a slave of the void god and that we're gonna spend a lot of time together fixing their mess.
>>49179413I didn't notice. Now that you mention it though, kinetics tend to have a longer range, so they are usually the first things fired. I guess I focus too much on the spinal mounts in describing things?
>>49179468Nah you're fine. It's just been the focus of the last couple of space fights. To be fair they make sense in this one because of the range. Although I'm pretty sure cyclotrons have a similar range.
>>49179468Listen not to the Naysayers Battle-Brother, You are doing The Emperors work.
What if we made cloned Human thinkers with the knowledge of several doctorates to augment our thinkers? Considering the Hive isn't very good at innovation, this seems like a good way to circumvent that without trying to "recruit" them from other species.
>>49179309>Have your fleet stay and attempt to track down any remaining debris. Please roll 1d100 to sift through the atomic radiation cloud and various rapidly moving high-orbit metal chunks for scraps of hive fleet.>>49179494I admit I have a bias for loving railguns. guess we might have an excuse to try out some of our ground troops if its a city that needs purging, though just nuking the spot's usually good.
>>49179507So you're saying we should clone a Seiner Chimera finally
Wait, guys, is there any chance OQ learned relay stealth or that her relay could have survived impact with the planet? We don't want her to actually be able to establish some kind of intelligent outpost or control on a human world, she'd get a huge tech boost. Maybe she ordered her ships to just pretend to lose all communications as part of a cunning ruse. We might do something like that, after all.Normally I'd think it'd be "impossible", but since we have a crit fail...
>>49179648No no, they ain't letting alien troops on the ground. That's silly. They're capable of something like 'burn it all'. They have fire. Also our hybrids down there will enjoy this all first hand.
>>49179668No the relay was destroyed by the orbital laser that New Tokyo shot. It's why the smaller ships started faltering and asking wheres Mom
>>49179658Pretty much. Have them all grovel to Elizabeth and be available for any murderous "stress relief" she may have.

Standard fleet doctrine is the other way around folks-- typically you defend your capital ships with light combatants like destroyers and corvettes. The only reason to hide corvettes behind their BC if they were trying to break through our formation, probably to get those corvettes into atmosphere.

>>49179837OQ = Obsidian queen.
>>49179851And I was referring to QD. Pretty sure I know what I was doing.
>>49179851I just call her OB for Obsidian Bitch, less confusing.
What would a drone we designed to quest look like?
>>49179718>Other>>49179744Seconding this guy. Let's send this fleet to support the Commonwealth attacks.
>>49179858Not being sarcastic but can you spell it out? It's morning now and I'm half asleep here.
>>49179882I meant that QD, when writing his description of battle, did not take into account what the standard military doctrine is. That is my assumption as to why the big ship covered smaller ships in the battle.
>>49179718>>Have your fleets return to hive space and resume idle patrol patterns
>>49179907Too be fair, Space combat 'currently' is theoretical in all aspects because we haven't had a chance to test it in real life. So Large ships screening small and small ships screening large could be right or hell might both be wrong.
>>49179907....You're shitting me right She was using the big ship as cover to slip the escorts closer to the planet.
>>49179935.....You are right I am shitting right in your nose.
>>49179935Maybe the OB got smart and slipped a relay on one of the small ships and just deactivated it when the big one was destroyed... Oh dear.
>>49179953You fucking moron, there was nothing standard about that tactic at all. No doctrine to adhere to. The BC was fucked, it was little more than a hulk and expendable, she was trying to get her small ships to the planet for some reason.
>>49179907Thanks for explaining. Okay but I don't think you're giving QD enough credit here. One reason for the proposed description would be to break through our forces to escape or get the corvettes to the planet.>>49179928Again I think QD's actually given a pretty good representation. He's given a good description of C-fractional strikes that would be feasable IRL whenever we decide to get around to exploring the stars and declaring war on ourselves there too.
>>49179718Your ships begin to charge their drives, their wings sweeping forward as a static crackle emanates from their hulls."Humans will alert the Hive of any future hostile contamination." And with that, and a burst of hard radiation, they are gone. A moment later, not far from Gemini orbit, your ships emerge back into reality.I suppose now we have two options, I suppose I'd be good for either. Since it's labor day, I figure we can keep on running through the night, or we all get some sleep and I come back fresh this evening and we keep running with the Commonwealth battles. What would you prefer? Either way we'll get about the same amount of quest.
>>49179907I can think of a couple possible reasons.1. She was planning to suicide dive into the planet, and protected the smaller craft so they could act as a pseudo-MIRV.2. The large craft was sufficiently armored that, by subjecting it to the worst of the incoming fire, her fleet list fewer functional weapons per second than if the escorts were torn apart, allowing them to squeeze out a few more parting shots.3. Hoped to crash at least one ship reasonably intact to deploy a bioweapon from, knowing that the large craft's wreckage was certain to be atomized first.
>>49179979Let's take a breather, I think.
>>49179973Wew you probably should not get mad over opinions on the internet. I like your opinion, but I think mine is better.
>>49179973Well obviously she failed completely. After all, we circled the planet several times and are "confident" we didn't see anything.
>>49179979SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK
>>49179979I vote to keep going.
>>49179979Get a breather, QD. Don't drive yourself into a crash.
>>49179979I'd prefer that you run until 6-7 then take a break.
>>49179979Go again later, we'll get more out of it that way.
>>49179979Take a nap bud
So were we cloning us some human hybrid thinkers?I know not real thinker hybrids, I mean cloning Seiner or creating some scientist assistants for Elizabeth
>>49179979Might as well nap.
>>49180004SIX HUNDRED ACTIVE EGGLAYERS ALL OVER THE PLANET PUMPING OUT MILLIONS ACID WASPS RIGHT THIS VERY SECOND.HUMAN ERRADICATION WITHIN FOUR HIURS
>>49180017This is the optimal pausing point though. Scene transition.
>>49180036Hey, free planet.
>>49179979I say get some sleep.
>>49179979Take a nap QD. We all know how you get when your crashing and i don't want to miss anything.
>>49180028>see link>expect fish>click link>receive fish
>>49179983Let's say she managed to get a spore-producing piece of debris in a equatorial planetary orbit similar to that of the ISS, i.e once around the world every 92 minutes, producing spores all the while.Catching every single outbreak would be insanely hard. Could be done if caught early and we removed the spore-spreading debris, afterwards it's going to be a zerg hive creep invasion. After 3 hours, that's two passes it's had to spread spores across the entire equator. 3 passes, 4 1/2 hours. You'd need an army of people burning away the creep.>>49179979Get some rest man. You done good. Gives me time to get back to the Dark souls all-nighter I was going to have until I saw your post.
>>49179983I can think of a couple possible reasons too, but in the opposite direction.1) It gets close enough to fire some sort of spore bombardment weapon.2)It lets you keep command over your forces as your relay is intact.3)It lets you dish out more damage as by the inherent nature of its bigger size, it packs more punch.4)By not blowing up, and letting you disperse spores normally you get better coverage(similar to 1)5)In the event of explosion, BC due to its bigger size would better spread remaining spores, as there is more ship to rain down onto the planet.
>>49179979Alrighty then, let's take a nap, and I'll get a thread up this evening. Will post in twitter the time, but should be about 7 eastern.
>>49180104I miss Ed Edd n Eddy.
>>49180076It's even worse if it's a non equatorial orbit. Instead of just spreading spores along a single line the tilt of the planet and the rotation of the planet against the spore dispersal would make it spread contamination in a wide and unpredictable fashion. What you said may, in fact, be one of the best possibilities in terms of knowing where the spores are landing... Maybe we should come up with a plan to get our clones off world.
>>49180104Best bed. Sleep good QD. Night everybody else as well
>>49180104Thanks man. Have a good rest. This has been a really fun run and tomorrow should be great. I'm especially looking forward to the Commonwealth battle and what shenanigans our speaker may have gotten up to.Hopefully we can turn the crit fail to our advantage (eventually) by demonstrating to the Union just how much they need us. Of course, first we must convince them this isn't just some false flag operation (cause that's what they'd do). Thanks again. I hope you're feeling better after that sickness after last week.
>>49180121It would have to be launching intact missiles that can survive the atmosphere.Odds are it's just a number of pieces of ship with spores in them at worst. Something that survived the crash, not that can produce an infinite number of things that can also survive a crash.
>>49180121Why bother, really? They're already quasi-immortal since we can just make fresh clone bodies and stuff their previous memories in. Further, if the planet does go tits-up it'll be easy to explain away why they don't have any of their documentation; it was lost in the confusion of trying to get offworld in a hurry.
QD can we vote to increase the development level of our human planets with hidden colonies if you're still here?At this point I'm thinking we might need for some troops on the ground as it were.
>>49180211>increase the development level of our human planets with hidden colonies>hidden colonies>development levelThat isn't very hidden. Also all our hidden colonies are already at the troop-producing phase of producing hybrid clones. All two of them. Gemini and Bedrock. The Path one we haven't heard from, it just got started.
>>49180121>>49180076I think it is sliiiightly more likely that debris from a bunch of ships that got blown up while heading for the planet would not end up in orbit at all. It would end up falling down the well fucking off into space.
>>49180278I'm just thinking we may have triggered OQ to start going after human settlements, since we've shown to actually care when she does. She could make a false flag op to pull our forces in, then ambush us.From what I remember we've got a tiny colony of no real importance in bedrock, another slightly bigger and more useful one sitting around sewers with some parasitized taidaren producing hybrids supporting our espionage and another under the sea on another world.
So I made an Aquatic collossus design a while back. Is it okay?LobsterSight: Basic Olfactory: BasicAcoustic: BasicElectrical: Basic 1NPsionic: BasicMandibles: Combat 1NBlade: Sledgehammer 6N 10MArms: Strength 1NLegs: Sprint 1NWings: Basic Glider 1NMissile Pods: Stinger missiles (torpedoes) 20N 50MUtility: Gills 4NUtility: Honey Pot 4NForward Hardpoint: Acid Spray 30MDorsal Hardpoint: Particle Cannon 30MGun Ports (x4): Heavy Thumper 60MCarapace: Heavy 5N 20MChassis: Hydrodynamic 2N 5MSize: Large x2Cost: 92N 410MUpkeep: 46NFor heavy power during aquatic campaigns. Like a (naval) gunboat/submarine. The weapons chosen are for effectiveness underwater. Particle Cannon seemed like it would work well, and acid spray could cause something like a corrosive cloud. Stinger missiles and seeker thumpers act like torpedoes.
>>49180362If she attempts that form of bait we could send heretic and a few of our ships while we send a counterattack.
>>49180406tail instead of wings mate
>>49180406>Use rift engine into planet ocean>Bitch Queen wakes up to find Monstrous Kaiju invading from the depths of the ocean, contaminating everything with our poisonous sea spores> Literally pacific rimAlso tail instead of wings. Glider wings won't help with large stuff unless we literally drop it from an airborne corvette. Aside from that it looks great. Maybe swap the particle cannon for a plasma cannon. Also would you like to design one of the ultra-large drones for hydro use as well? That's something we might be able to use later.
>>49180362>She could make a false flag op to pull our forces in, then ambush us.That's. That's not what false flag means.
>>49180477>ultra-largeThat isn't a thing mate, there's only large. Also >plasma >in water
>>49180362And what are we gonna clone under the sea. Mermen? We are making all the troops we can already.
>>49180508Pasrtial falseflagness is automatic with any engagement against humans. We will HAVE to warp in and fight to prove that it's not us fucking them.
>>49180528Why, hermit crabsmen that sing, of course!>UNDA DA SEA>UNDA DA SEA>IT'S BETTA WHEN IT'S WETTA>UNDA DA SEA
>>49180508oops. Okay, my bad, used the wrong term. Should have said decoy. What I mean is, she could warp a fleet in to attack the humans, wait until we send our fleet in, and then send another fleet in and have both attack us. >>49180528we don't need to clone anything, just having our hive presence there we could send warriors out to fight any invaders.
>>49180610A better term is bait, like i have said here >>49180422
>>49180610>What I mean is, she could warp a fleet in to attack the humans, wait until we send our fleet in, and then send another fleet in and have both attack us.Yes but we ALSO can send our ships in.It'll basically be infinite sandwiching until one of us stops or runs out of ships.
>>49180525double oops. Thought that huge thing we traded for would give us more than a large/bipedal leg improvement. As to plasma/water, plasma takes a while to charge up to full strength after which it could level a city block and probably any human city block or battleship we hit dead on. I was thinking it could charge submurged, then surface to fire. Would make for a decent ambush fighter.>>49180627Yeah, my bad.
>>49180610The point of hidden colonies is that they are Hidden. We are not loading them up with obviously-hive drones solely to then deploy them out of nowhere and ruining the secret of their existence.
>>49180678>city block and probably any human city block Seems I forgot how to inglesie as well. Oh well, night chaps. Don't forget to add your drone design to the suptg page, whatever you decide. Looks like it would be useful whenever we need our submersible shenanigans.
>>49180678That's Plasma Assault Cannon, Plasma Cannon is a piercing weapon. Though it's an interesting use for it, PAC discharges enough heat after each shot to kill anything too close and would boil the water around it. In those conditions it would cook itself without radiator tubes and/or conductive armour.
>>49180705I've also dabbled with some Titan designs, and a near useless 'Ambulance'. I'll add them all later.
>>49180732The Plasma Cannon is the Hive version of the Suncaster right?I remember QD saying that it would be perfect for a Large Drones tail since they would not get the negatives that a medium sized drone would get by using it and moving.A Large Drone can mount a Medium sized weapon on its tail so Heavy Thumpers (the Hive version of 40k Bolters), fire/cryosprays, plasma cannons, or lightning guns would be the best option for them I think
So, er... why are we returning to Gemini, aren't we done over there?
>>49181780Still waiting for their decision on our demands over the Expanse
>>49181780Maintaining our gunboat diplomacy.Further, we can be certain that the Union has people analyzing ever aspect of our craft as they come and go. When they notice that they returned with combat damage and one ship less than they set out, we could get some brownie points with the populous for visibly making sacrifices on their behalf.
>>49182661You guys are forgetting the most important question.Fuck did our speaker start saying.
>>49182953Probably muttering on about crystals and inefficient couch distributors.
>>49182953Death Grips - Takyon (Death Yon)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89F5fpvwPr0
>>49183077FUCK YA I FEEL IM KILLIN IT
>>49177846ah goddamnit you always run when I am asleep. Welcome back QD!
>>49183867This is funnier than it has any right to be.
>>49183867>Those facial expressions>Those lyrics>That filenameGoddamn IG, you fucking nailed everything about this pic, I've been tittering madly for the past 5 minutes.
>>49179043Reminds me I keep forgetting to post this OC.Favorite scene from thread 4.
>>49183867Ha! Yogesh is disappoint
So how is the Shield Giga Drone design coming along? Because we need a giant shielder more than we need a underwater tank. Unless you guys want to explore every inch of that water planet we got a hive in?But even then we still need a Giga Shielder.
>>49185298We're waiting on the shield dome research to finish first.
>>49185371How come we got microshields but not the big ones? The tech was originally designed to be big after all.Our Quantom Thinkers are still arguing what big shield design to use, right?
>>49185430I think, we were originally interested in personal shielding first and that seeing the big shields gave us a boost in that research. I found a quote about when we first saw/started researching big shields: "Among the chaos, however, you find something that instantly gains your full attention. Across the surface, rings of undamaged land surround some of the larger military installations. Command posts, major silos, sensor stations, all unharmed and untouched by the bombardment and rain of debris. You wonder why, and as you do you watch as a high velocity impactor hits with the force of an atomic bomb. It detonates half a kilometer above the ground, and as the blast fades you spot the slight shimmer if a shield covering the area with a dome of faint energy. Along the rim you can find strange looking projectors, previously dismissed as radio towers or sensors of some kind. You are unsure of how they managed to perfect shielding for the surface of a planet, but your thinkers already have theories, especially those working on shield miniaturization."So it seems like we were already working on shield miniaturization when we started on the big shields. My guess is we'll unlock big shields sometime in the next "day" or two.
>>49185525Yay!Also, any plans what to do with the data we got from those fast breeding things? Someone mentioned making cute fluffly things to sell as pets?
>>49183867God damn IG. I just got up. I didn't need that laughing fit.
>>49185687A spray that makes tribbles emit a chemical that neuters any other tribble it comes into contact with? Humans have a lot of trouble with these things so they'd pay big for an easy method of getting rid of them.
>>49185687>>49186399Alternatively we could have our clones set up a tribble removal/eating service whilst spreading tribble spores via our flies.
I wonder why the canderon power taps allowed the voidfags to project themselves into reality. What if powertaps aren't making energy from nothing? What if they're drawing energy from voidland?
>>49186432Or just go with the cute mascot option. Give them away for free on the planets we claimed that have humans on ot and use them as spies.Alternatively.make them a better food source.
>>49187200Different flavoured tribbles? We could have the flavour written onto their skin.
>>49187192Because black holes and void shards. Hence why I prefer a core fusion reactor for our weapon planet. Worst case we just lose the planet instead of opening a permanent tear on reality the size of texas.
>>49187200Don't forget we can have them metamorphize into egg layers to create stealth colonies.
We should get this thread to bump limit so QD can start a fresh thread in an hour and half
>>49190058It would have happily died on its own, we were so close until this guy came in.>>49189702That would only work for small drones and cloned creatures large enough to contain a parasite and be turned into chimera.
>>49190218Also the whole point would be to make them different enough from Hive life for the humans to not suspect foul play, but still able to be controlled by the Queen. Or just stick a parasite in them.
>>49191691you fucker, thread was supposed to die off so QD could start a new thread in...7 minutes
>>49191802This lets him link to the new from the old?
>>49186432>>49187200>>49187287But what do we do when the Tribbles reveal their true genetic prowess and evolve to be more suited against the selection pressures we've introduced and develop a countermeasure against getting eaten by drones? What would we do if the humans or scavs got ahold of such technology? A sobering thought indeed.
>>49191877Makes sense.>>49191936New thread's up!
