Yeah. A lot. Actually, We were right near a corner, and I was positioned at the side of the table opposite a corner. We were actually in an arena. Say what you will as far as stereotypes, but it was held in a *cough* curling club.
Picture: A MASSIVE wtf moment. Still without any sign of damage on the 'mech besides the head, I manage to win the initiative roll, and everyone is moving around the table in a clockwise pattern. I end up moving last. All opponents in the area are kind of moving defensively. A raven (an aspie's machine) took a shitload of shots at me the turn prior, so with the advantage and some "Easy shots", I decided to end it prematurely. Alpha-striking into the back, I did superficial damage, taking out useless shit like the Beagle Active Probe. Of course, the Raven flips the arms over, hits me with only one medium laser, and where does it hit but ANOTHER FUCKING HEADSHOT. I was the first to die, through little fault of my own, from two freak 1/36 chance headshots.
On the plus side, I got to pick a new 'mech from Level 2 choices (You can see the prefab choices and record sheets in the first couple pictures). I Decided to go for a Vindicator. I tried one once and it turned out to be pretty sturdy and useful, besides ugly and mostly unimpressive.
